Malcolm Hill: Here's a throwback for you. I want to ask you a question, and I want you to answer it sincerely. Can we really know the truth in religion? One says, "Yes, we can know it." Another says, "No, no, you can't know the truth in religion." One says one thing, and another says another. And that's the case: some say one thing and still another and another. But when we say you cannot know the truth, that's the truth. It's saying something that actually the Bible does not say. If that's the case—that is, if man cannot know the truth—then we're not to study it. We don't need it. You can't know it. And yet the Lord encourages in II Timothy 2:15 to study the truth. Can we know the truth in religion? Our Lord said in John 8:32, "You shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." And so, we can know the truth. The Lord Jesus Christ said we could. How?
