The Securities and Exchange Board of India, or S-E-B-I, has expanded refund eligibility to all investors regardless of investment amount in the ongoing PACL refund process. Investors must register their claims on the refund portal between 1 August 2026 and 14 September 2026. This update was highlighted in addresses by S-E-B-I Chairman Shri Tuhin Kanta Pandey and Whole Time Member Shri KVR Murty at the FICCI Capital Markets Conference.
Additionally, the tender process dates for the e-auction sale of PACL properties in Cuttack and Pune have been extended and amended. Bidders must adhere to revised timelines for bid submission, auction commencement, and completion as per the corrigenda issued. Payment schedules for successful bidders require 25 percent payment within seven days of intimation and the remaining 75 percent within 15 days. Detailed property listings and reserve prices for the Pune auction have also been updated.
S-E-B-I has also issued a cautionary notice to investors regarding live trading strategies displayed on social media platforms. Investors are advised to exercise caution as these strategies may be misleading. This notice was accompanied by further updates on refund facilitation for investors of Citrus Check Inns Limited and Royal Twinkle Star Club Pvt. Ltd, including expanded eligibility and timelines for refund claims.
In the pharmaceutical regulatory space, the Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission has released draft revisions to monographs and general chapters. These include updated bacterial endotoxin limits, sterility requirements, and microbial contamination limits for substances such as Pantoprazole, Artesunate, Diclofenac Injection, and Amifostine. Stakeholders are invited to submit comments on these draft revisions by 1 October 2026.
The Ministry of Education, in collaboration with the National Council of Educational Research and Training, or NCERT, is conducting workshops on the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and the associated rules of 2025. Sessions held on 25 August and scheduled for 3 September 2026 aim to enhance awareness among NCERT officers about key provisions including personal data definitions, stakeholder roles, notice and consent requirements, obligations of data fiduciaries, rights and duties of data principals, and penalties for non-compliance.
