More than 4 million Americans have left jobs each month this year, and researchers say it’s not ending anytime soon. About 40% of US workers are considering quitting in the next 3-6 months. That’s from a McKinsey survey of over 6,000 workers.
Here’s the difference. It’s not about the beach. For many, it’s about new opportunities. 48% of quits are people switching industries. It’s a great time to do it. Because of ongoing worker shortages, HR teams now prioritize skills over educational background or job experience
