Good morning and welcome

to your morning cereal.

Okay, good morning and

welcome to Wednesday.

Hard to believe that we

are already at that middle

of the week stretch where

you definitely are going

to need a second cup of

coffee to get you through the day.

And fittingly, as you get

to the end of this hump day,

right, reward yourself because today

is National Drink Wine Day.

All right, well,

yesterday's trivia answer,

Wayne Gretzky, the great one,

the NHL's all-time leading point scorer.

And now it's time for

the essential vitamins

in your morning cereal.

Today's quote is from birthday boy

turning only 61 today,

Dr. Dre, who said, quote,

"It's not about the salary,

it's all about the reality."

All right, translation

this morning, genuine success,

passion and tangible results matter more

than just the money, right?

Chase your passion, not a paycheck.

All right, well, let's go

ahead and hear from the experts.

Now it is time to pour

in some let them theory

from Mel Robbins.

And today we're stepping into a new

chapter, chapter 20,

which is entitled, "How Every Ending

Is a Beautiful Beginning," all right?

Here, Mel is opening this

section by reframing endings,

not as failures, but as transitions.

She writes, quote, "An

ending is simply the moment

you're pushed towards

what's next," end quote.

And that's uncomfortable because humans

love predictability.

Even if the situation is mediocre, at

least it's familiar.

And she explains that

when something ends,

a relationship, a job,

a chapter in your life,

well, we instinctively want to fix it.

We want to rewind it or control it.

And that's where let them comes in.

If something is ending, well, let it.

If someone is pulling away, let them.

If a door closes, let it close

because what we often call rejection

is actually just redirection.

Now, Mel shares how painful endings

forced her into growth

that she never would

have chosen voluntarily.

She said, quote, "The end of something

is the beginning of clarity," end quote.

And when the noise

stops, when the chaos settles,

you finally see what wasn't working.

And here's the hard

truth that she highlights.

Sometimes we cling,

not because it's right,

but because we're

afraid of that empty space.

The space between what

was and what will be,

it feels terrifying.

But that gap, that's

where reinvention happens.

And she reminds us, quote,

"You cannot step into what's next

while gripping what's over," end quote.

And that line hits, right?

We don't grow in

comfort, we grow in transition.

Ending strip away

illusion, they refine you,

they sharpen your standards,

they strengthen your resilience, okay?

All right, here is

your hump day takeaway.

When something ends,

resist the urge to chase it.

Trust that it is clearing space

for something better

aligned for your life.

All right, so whether

you're raising a glass

of well-aged Vino tonight, or just

raising your standards,

remember, midweek pivots,

they can be powerful too.

All right, now the prize from

the bottom of the cereal box,

the morning cereal

trivia question of the day.

Here it is, what is

the longest type of cell

in the human body?

Well, thanks for

listening to Morning Cereal today.

for the answer to the trivia question

and more sugar for your soul.
