What is up, friends? Welcome to another episode of Let's Talk Football Sis, where your favorite sister-sister duo is breaking down every fantasy football relevant matchup for you. And we're talking playoffs now, baby.
It is week 15. We are in the thick of the season. Some of you started playoffs early.
I'll still think you're weird for that. That is okay, because it is absolutely criminal that they would give you a playoff with buys still. But we are in week 15.
All of the buys are over, and we are ready to move into, hopefully, the playoff season for you, or at least preventing you taking home the Toilet Bowl winner, okay? We're not trying to be in last place, because even if you are in the Toilet Bowl for whatever reason, we're fighting to not come in last, my friends. But we are super-duper excited to get in.
I know, I'm gonna brag for a minute, I'm in the playoffs for every motherfucking league, even our super-flexible league, which I was sitting there, I'm like, my team scored 70 points this week. 70 abysmal Danny Dimes Achilles tear points. I was like, oh, I'm definitely not making it.
And I looked this morning, I was like, oh shit, I gotta scrap together a team, baby, because we're in.
[Angela Sims] (1:09 - 1:11)
Did your opponent score?
[Amanda Black] (1:11 - 1:12)
Oh, just admit.
[Angela Sims] (1:12 - 1:14)
Because I didn't even pay attention to that.
[Amanda Black] (1:14 - 1:17)
Honestly, nothing crazy. I think she, what, 135?
[Angela Sims] (1:18 - 1:22)
Okay, but you still made it with your overall points to get into it, okay.
[Amanda Black] (1:22 - 1:37)
I had Romeo Doubs, guys, I played Doubs. guys, zero points for Romeo Dubs. 1.8 points for Danny Dimes. She's in the playoffs, though, we're gonna be all right. We'll figure it out. I was just like, it's kind of fun.
It's gonna be a fun week where I could just put random people in, right?
[Angela Sims] (1:37 - 2:10)
And this will be a good learning and teaching moment for everybody. How can we piece together our shit if that did happen to you? Because I know that Daniel Jones thing screwed a lot of people because they weren't just doing good.
They were Super Bowl contender good. And that really backfired, or not backfired, because that wasn't a backfire, but really just went downhill. So sad.
I mean, seeing him, we're gonna talk about it more, but him just being his helmet, and he just knows. His hair was getting so long. It was ready for the Super Bowl flow.
[Amanda Black] (2:11 - 2:42)
I know, Danny Dimes and poor Zach Ertz. He tore his nails out. Homie was like a mess.
I was like, God, you feel so bad for these guys who just like, number one, like they're older. Danny Dimes was about to get paid. And he's probably not anymore.
And like Zach Ertz is older. He's probably on the tail end of his career. And then they take those big injuries and you're just kind of staring at, am I ever coming back?
Do I have like, for Danny Dimes, like, does he even have a role? Maybe. He had a great season, but probably not with the Colts.
It's just, it sucks.
[Angela Sims] (2:42 - 2:44)
It does suck a lot. It sucks a lot.
[Amanda Black] (2:45 - 2:49)
Well, how did your fantasy football go for the week? Are we doing good?
[Angela Sims] (2:49 - 3:11)
In the playoffs for both of our leagues as well, Girls League and Superflex. Listener League, I wasn't in the projection to be in the playoffs and then won my way in on that one. So I was very happy.
Had already secured my previous playoff status. So, I mean, it mattered to me. I tried to get up there.
[Amanda Black] (3:11 - 3:14)
My team just struggled. I took that fucking bye from you, baby.
[Angela Sims] (3:14 - 3:15)
The stupid bye.
[Amanda Black] (3:16 - 3:25)
All I needed was to win. And for you were Aislinn to lose. And I was like, give me that.
Cause like I got CD, NT Higgins, concussion issues. I was like, give me the bye. Yes.
[Angela Sims] (3:25 - 3:52)
And I should have, I was nervous about Hampton. Wasn't sure, do I plug him in? I didn't need to.
I was like, I'll just kind of keep riding him. Plus it was Monday night and I needed to pick between my playing ETN or forget who else I have, Chase Brown, or am I putting him in? And then what if he didn't play?
And then I'm out of zero. So I played with it. If I would have started him, I would have won.
Cause I really lost by a slim margin, but you wouldn't. I'm still in. So it's all.
[Amanda Black] (3:53 - 3:58)
Yeah, exactly. You're still in. That's all that freaking matters.
Now you just have to win three times and you win that championship.
[Angela Sims] (3:58 - 4:08)
And if I'm, my statistics are correct. We could potentially be facing each other in the playoffs of the super flex league.
[Amanda Black] (4:08 - 4:34)
If we go through. Oh, if for some reason my shitty super flex team makes it through, cause I'm going to say, I have a quarterback. I'm in super flex and it's risky as fuck, but that's all right.
We're going to do it anyway. I'll be geeked. Cause that would be fun.
But who the hell knows? All right. Well, we're going to get into some other.
Oh no, it would be, it would be the girls league.
[Angela Sims] (4:34 - 4:34)
My bad.
[Amanda Black] (4:34 - 4:36)
The girls like, oh, that's okay. That's okay. My team's good.
[Angela Sims] (4:36 - 4:37)
That would still be fun.
[Amanda Black] (4:39 - 5:41)
All right. Well, we are going to announce our gift card winner from our reviews, Rachel. And it's your, your username.

The only other things I think that I wanted to talk about was obviously the Colts, you know, issues with our quarterback. And then we heard, I keep wanting to say Riley Green, but that's not, you know, we knew Riley Green is like sexy as hell. Oh, nonetheless, the quarterback for Colts, the backup, his name is Riley.
And like, I just don't know why.
[Angela Sims] (5:41 - 5:43)
Oh, Riley Leonard, yes. Riley Leonard.
[Amanda Black] (5:43 - 5:58)
I want to say Riley Green and I know that's not correct. Okay, no. But he suffered a knee injury and now the Colts went up and called old man Phillip Rivers.
Like what? 16 kids, probably has grandkids, 44 year old Phillip Rivers.
[Angela Sims] (5:59 - 6:10)
On the couch. He's like, God damn it, I got to do it. I got, I got to go help my boys out.
He pulled the flacko off the couch and they were like, let's get him in here. I was just like, what?
[Amanda Black] (6:10 - 6:18)
Like, you have to be dealing with the depths of, we talk about the depths of despair in fantasy football. Like talk about the depths of despair.
[Angela Sims] (6:19 - 6:21)
With the fucking Colton Richardson, with his orbital.
[Amanda Black] (6:21 - 6:24)
His eye's still fractured. He's like, shit.
[Angela Sims] (6:24 - 6:27)
Put an eye patch on it, Richardson, and get out there, buddy.
[Amanda Black] (6:27 - 6:28)
Get in there.
[Angela Sims] (6:28 - 6:29)
We've worked through this story, we don't know what to do.
[Amanda Black] (6:30 - 6:38)
No, so I thought that was freaking hilarious. And what did you think about the, the Gotham city jerseys from the Jets? We've talked about jerseys all year, so I feel relevant.
We did.
[Angela Sims] (6:38 - 6:41)
And to quote our mother, it was sharp. I thought they were sharp.
[Amanda Black] (6:41 - 6:42)
You liked them.
[Angela Sims] (6:42 - 6:42)
I thought they were cool.
[Amanda Black] (6:43 - 6:48)
I think the green was too dark for me. I thought it looked like swamp water. I couldn't get behind it.
[Angela Sims] (6:48 - 6:51)
I like that kind of darky green color. So it didn't bother me.
[Amanda Black] (6:52 - 7:00)
I was like, God, these had opportunities to look so fucking cool because like Gotham city is just a whole vibe and nothing could have been hit so much harder. And I was like.
[Angela Sims] (7:00 - 7:06)
Like Joker-esque, like, you know, maybe that was the vibe they were going for. I don't know.
[Amanda Black] (7:06 - 7:07)
Who knows? Who knows?
[Angela Sims] (7:07 - 7:07)
They tried.
[Amanda Black] (7:08 - 7:19)
I wasn't a fan, but nonetheless, we've talked about jerseys all week or all year and there's been some pooper scoopers. So nonetheless, let's get into your play of the week. Who, what was, what was that for you, Ange?
[Angela Sims] (7:20 - 7:59)
So I think I kind of piggybacked off of Amanda's because we are Ohio girls. We, I like the snow now. December, it could snow all at once.
I'm also a teacher. So I love a good snow day. We've already had one this year.
So everybody out there do all the dances for the multiple snow days. It's the best thing ever. Anyways, but I kind of piggyback off of Amanda's, which is also the same exact game, but I loved the Josh Allen dashing through the snow, 40 yard run for the touchdown.
It really got me in the holiday spirit. And I really liked seeing Josh Allen bounce back from kind of a bum week to kind of show his dominance as that MVP guy.
[Amanda Black] (8:00 - 8:36)
I love it. Yes, also have a snow game of Christian Benford, picking off Joe Burrow, pick six in the snow. He like sniped that ball out of the air.
His eyes got real big. I don't even think he expected to catch it, but he did. And then got all the way on the end zone.
Just, you know, snow angels in the end zone, make my heart happy. You could just tell every Buffalo player was like, we got this. They were in their element because anytime it snows in Buffalo, everyone's super duper excited.
That's why they didn't build a dome over their new stadium. They said, not for us. We like it in there like that.
They want the cold, the snow, bring it on.
[Angela Sims] (8:37 - 8:42)
The six inches of snow on the seat that the fans have to come plow off. It's great.
[Amanda Black] (8:42 - 8:48)
They signed me up. They get all drunked up and get in there and clear it all up. I love it.
I love it. All right, how about your vet of the week?
[Angela Sims] (8:48 - 9:18)
So my vet of the week is Tony Pollard. And I don't think anybody saw this performance coming. I sure as hell did not.
Against a really strong, air quotes there, Browns defense who were stopping the run pretty much all season. Tony Pollard wiggled his way through, had 28.1 fantasy points. You know, maybe he just needed a cold game to get the juice in him.
Who knows? Maybe the cold was helping everybody this week. I don't know.
It wasn't helping me and my hands. And my cold, dry hands.
[Amanda Black] (9:19 - 9:46)
Me either. My blue turning lips. Cause I turned blue.
Ooh, yeah, you cold. None the least, least, least, none the, whatever. My vet of the week is Saquon Barkley.
I was riding high. I decided to play Saquon Barkley over Jalen Warren. And so I was nervous rolling into Monday Night Football.
I needed 12 points from Saquon Barkley to take on the W. Mind you, Saquon has not been, has not like ripped off a 50 yard run the entire fucking year. And.
[Angela Sims] (9:47 - 9:58)
Yeah, you got it. I think they said on that broadcast, like he hadn't had a 20 yard run or something. And then like the next play had like a 19 yards, but then kept going.
Yeah, I love it.
[Amanda Black] (9:58 - 10:12)
I love it. Yes, he did. He ended up scoring 18 fantasy points, held it down and gone the end zone, 122 rushing yards.
It's what we needed from Saquon Barkley. And so I was very excited for that to happen. How about your rookie of the week?
[Angela Sims] (10:13 - 10:58)
Rookie of the week for me was Omarionan Hampton just because he was back. I know there were a lot of people out there that waited it out and held him and wanted to see him return and return in a big way. And he did.
He, you know, kind of headed into the playoffs. That is the guy that I want in my running back position. I want to get rid of some maybe riskier players.
Now I was able to kind of acquire better players throughout the season to kind of fill in for him, but he's still the guy that I'm excited to go back to. 15 touches, he had a receiving touchdown. Yes, he was splitting touches with Vidal, but I don't think that's going to be maybe the trend.
I think that was kind of getting him back into the game. And Vidal's been pretty powerful and pretty productive too, so they weren't just going to ship him out. But who is your rookie of the week?
[Amanda Black] (10:59 - 11:42)
Yeah, my rookie of the week is Devin Neal. We know that Kamara has been out for multiple weeks. He's been holding it down in the backfield.
And I love when a rookie running back kind of takes over for a vet and really does remain productive. He had 19 carries, 70 yards, one touchdown. Honestly, at this point, you're hoping just Kamara decides to sit it out for the rest of the season because it just makes all of your running back decisions much easier because now you're not deciding between a hurt, banged up Kamara or a Devin Neal, who even if they split 50-50 time, you just don't know which way it's going to go.
It makes it so much harder. So Devin Neal was my rookie of the week. I do have a pooper scooper player of the week, and we've got to give it to Jalen Hurts because that motherfucker threw an interception and had a fumble on the same play.
That is like the first time that has ever happened.
[Angela Sims] (11:42 - 12:04)
I didn't know that. That is one of those. It was one of, as I'm watching it, whoop, whoop, whoop, whoop, whoop, whoop, whoop, whoop.
One of those background noises of like the three stooges, how is this happening? It's happening. It was kind of a la the Cardinals-Titans game weeks back when it was just like here, there, and the other, and then, yeah.
But Jalen Hurts, man, whoo, yikes.
[Amanda Black] (12:04 - 12:28)
I know. At this point, you have to scratch your head and think, is the Eagles' problem Jalen Hurts? Is he the problem?
Because you're like, it doesn't make any sense why we're struggling so bad. But who, I mean, interception. And my husband has a league where they get more negative points for interceptions.
And Jalen Hurts scored negative nine points in his league. Negative nine.
[Angela Sims] (12:28 - 12:29)
Nine.
[Amanda Black] (12:29 - 12:52)
I was like, oh no. Yucky. Bad stuff.
All right, well, we're gonna get into the meat and potatoes of this episode. There are no buys this week. We are in week 15.
We are no, we're buy lists. We're buy lists for the rest of the season here. We have three fantasy football relevant weeks left, 15, 16, 17.
So we're gonna move into every single matchup for the week. Go ahead and kick us off, And with your first matchup.
[Angela Sims] (12:53 - 15:00)
All right, you wanna go over injuries first before we do this or? Talk about injuries in as we go. Okay, all right.
Good to know, good to know. I am up first with the Thursday night football game, Atlanta versus Tampa Bay. For Atlanta, I am very confidently starting Bajon.
I know he hasn't been the most consistent. We've kind of seen an influx and then a decrease, but I don't think that's going to last as we kind of get closer to the end of the season. And then you're watching Drake London and his kind of health.
If he is back, you're plugging him in. If he is not back, then you're making some changes. And that one change for me would be plugging Kyle Pitts into the lineup if Drake London isn't there.
I like him as a start if London isn't back. If London is back, then I rethink my Pitts decision and kind of go into that. Sets for me would be Kirk Cousins.
I don't really see him as a very viable start at all. I'm gonna set Tyler Algier this year. This year.
The whole year, set him. Don't do that, Angela. I'm gonna set him this week.
I think Bajon's gonna take most of those touches. He's been used kind of sporadically throughout with Robinson as well, but I think he's really the back. That's the backup.
That's what he is. Sometimes snipes those goal line touches. I just like him as a set.
I would start guys like Jordan Mason, even Basial Tootin this week over him. And then that Kyle Pitts decision kind of comes into play. Again, if London's out, I would plug Kyle Pitts in and vice versa there.
If London is in, I would rethink things like Mark Andrews over Kyle Pitts, Fannin, Johnson. Again, only if he's out. And then I'm sitting this defense.
Don't trust them. On the Tampa Bay side, the Falcons run a little lower against the run. Their run defense has been their primary weakness.
So Bucky Irving is a plug and play for me. He has been very dominant as we go into. And speaking of that, did you see that they got fined?
Like he and Baker Mayfield got fined for some like obscene touchdown dance. The things these people get fined for are just ridiculous. Like there's worse things in the world happening.
And we're fining guys for, like they went like this or something. I don't know.
[Amanda Black] (15:00 - 15:01)
But anyways, look it up.
[Angela Sims] (15:01 - 15:02)
Maybe we shouldn't cocaine rub our nose. You know.
[Amanda Black] (15:03 - 15:30)
Maybe they had a stuffy nose. It's cold. It's winter.
No, I just think like, you know, I saw someone tweet on the internet like, oh yeah, him doing that to his nose, maybe snort cocaine. Like, no, it didn't. Like, now do I think the symbolism needs to be like taken away?
Okay. Just cheer something else. But like, they took like finger guns out and like one less finger.
And I'm like, maybe we should actually prevent getting guns in the school system instead of worrying about our NFL players doing that. It's just like, it's a whole thing. Yes.
[Angela Sims] (15:31 - 16:52)
Hashtag bigger problems. All right. So other than Bucky kind of other guys that I have questions about, I'm going to fully sit Baker Mayfield this week.
He is playing injured. He doesn't look great. He hasn't been looking great.
He hasn't been connecting with his receivers really at all. So there are better upside players like Sam Darnold, even Marcus Mariota, Jackson Dart. I would play all of them over Baker Mayfield this week.
At the wide receivers, we're kind of waiting to see is Mike Evans going to return to week 15. Jalen McMillan might also be back in week 15, but that's kind of something to get, kind of keep an eye out on. It's a short turnaround for that Thursday night game.
Chris Godwin and Emeka Igbuka are the guys to kind of talk about here. If I had to pick between the two, I'm picking Chris Godwin as my start. I'm going to sit Igbuka.
He just has really been on the decline. I would start guys like Debo and Shakir over him. I mean, if I really was in a pinch, maybe I put Sutton or I pick him over Sutton, maybe Michael Pittman with their matchups, being just a little bit tougher this week, but having Baker banged up kind of affects them big time.
You're sitting both of your other running backs over Rashad White, Sean Tucker. They are, like we said last week, just fully handcuffs to Bucky Irving. And then you're sitting Kate Alton as well.
Falcons are tough on the tight end position. And then I'm also going to sit the Tampa Bay defense.
[Amanda Black] (16:52 - 20:47)
Awesome. I've got Cleveland versus Chicago as my first matchup here. We'll start with the Cleveland side of the football.
Must-starts are going to be Quinshon Judkins and Harold Fannin Jr. With Njoku getting hurt again, that elevates the availability of Fannin. He's connecting great with Shadar Sanders. And so that's a no-brainer.
Same thing with Judkins. Just really a no-brainer against this weak Chicago defense. Really overall, with the fact that Cleveland's playing a weak defense, it almost makes everyone slightly a questionable start option, and I'll kind of go into it.
Shadar Sanders, am I looking to throw him in my lineup? Absolutely fucking not, unless I'm in a dual quarterback league. However, it's a risky upside option.
He's there. If you're super-duper desperate, I'm going to put him in the same camp as Kirk Cousins, Cam Ward, Tua. To me, I would play Shadar Sanders over all three of those options.
That's just my opinion. But that would mean you are dealing with the depths of despair in the quarterback room. And if you're in a traditional league, you're probably not doing that.
So to me, Shadar is probably a sit, unless you're extremely desperate in a quarterback position. Jerry Judy. He's a valid streaming wide receiver this week if you need someone.
But when we approach halfway through the season, we have to remember things are dynamically changing. Just like we said, Baker's a sit. Now someone like a quarterback change in Cleveland makes some of these wide receivers who were full sits before become questionable options as we move deeper into the season.
So Judy by no means has to sit on your bench. He's an option if you're dealing with wide receivers with very difficult matchups. Like Christian Watson, terrible matchup for him this week against the Denver Broncos.
You might think, you know what, fuck it. Maybe I take the upside of Judy in a better matchup who is connecting decently with Shadar Sanders. In my opinion, depending on who ends up quarterbacking for the Colts that is, you might look at starting a Judy ahead of all of the wide receivers for the Colts.
Because if you're dealing with Philip Rivers, 44 year old old man, I don't want any part of that. In my opinion, that offense is gonna suck. Same thing with the New York Jets.
Who the fuck is gonna be their quarterback this week? We don't know. And so if for some reason the backup who played last week ends up Brady Cooks, if he ends up playing again, I don't want any part of the wide receiver room for the New York Jets.
And so I would take the upside of Jerry Judy. So it's a streaming option this week for sure. Bond is a full set for me.
So I wouldn't even consider it. And then the defense is again, another great streaming defensive option. They've been playing well.
He's come Garrett. I always say Garrett Wilson, Miles Garrett is coming for that sack title. He wants it.
They didn't play great last week. I would expect a bounce back week from them. Chicago.
Needed more than two points from them. I know, same. I was like shit.
Okay, cool. Chicago, two guys you can throw into your lineup, Swift and Monunga. They're splitting that field 50-50 backfield.
They've both been productive. Yes, they're playing Cleveland. Did we see Tony Pollard perform well?
Would I expect that to happen again? I wouldn't expect quite that production again. Nonetheless, I think both are dynamic running backs.
They're changing them up enough. And the Chicago Bears are relying quite a bit on their run game to stay productive because Caleb Williams looks just frantic and a little worried when he steps back into the pocket. That leads me into Caleb Williams.
I'm not excited about starting him this week. I think you have far better options with no buys. So I would consider starting, sitting Caleb's ahead of Jacoby Brissett, even in a hard matchup.
JJ McCarthy, Marcus Mariota, or Jaden Daniels, depending on who plays. Baker Mayfield, Goff, Dart. I would play all ahead of Caleb Williams this week for sure.
I don't want any part of the wide receivers from the Bears. There's too many of them. It's like roulette of hell.
I don't want any of it. I'm sitting all of them. Okay, going over to the tight end position, Loveland and Kemet.
If there's one tight end I'm gonna play, it's gonna be Loveland ahead of Kemet. And I'm only playing Loveland if one of the wide receivers in week 15 misses. So if Roma Dunzey's out, I love Colston Loveland.
I'd probably give him a start. But I'm not gonna start Colston Loveland if every single one of the wide receivers is active week 15. Too many mouths to feed?
I don't want that, right? There's better tight end options out there. And I'm sitting the Chicago Bears defense.
[Angela Sims] (20:47 - 23:24)
All right, going into my next matchup, Baltimore Ravens versus Cincinnati Bengals. On the Baltimore side, this matchup kind of makes me like a lot of the players. So I'm gonna start Lamar.
Lamar had a bounce back week. He started to look like old Lamar. He used his legs much more.
I had a lot more confidence watching him. I'm also gonna start Derrick Henry this week against Cincinnati. Guys to kind of talk about, I know I texted Amanda mid-game about Zay Flowers.
Like Zay Flowers has been on my shit list, on the okay list. I don't like him this week. I'm gonna sit him.
Cincinnati's just a little bit stingier on the wide receivers, just a tiny, teeny, tiny bit. I think that Lamar is going to look for guys like Andrews this week more than Flowers like he did last week. I would start guys like obviously, Wandale, McLaurin, Godwin all over Flowers.
I would start Flowers over guys like Ted Arroa and Michael Wilson. They have tougher matchups. I would trust Zay Flowers in that matchup just a little bit more.
At the tight end position, you have the choice between Mark Andrews and Isaiah Likely. Now Isaiah Likely was irrelevant for weeks, right? He was like under the rug and then all of a sudden he became relevant again.
I don't know if that's going to continue. I would lean toward Mark Andrews this week if I had to choose between the two. And again, you have choices between everybody.
So it's not like you have to in a pinch, pick Isaiah Likely because you have no other options. Cincinnati is super easy against the tight end position. I think this is where Lamar is going to look in this matchup.
I'm gonna set the Baltimore Ravens defense against the Cincinnati Bengals. I just think that they're a little bit more powerful. I think they're gonna throw the ball.
I think they can evade them a little bit more. On the Cincinnati side, Amanda mentioned, or we didn't mention the Teagans, I'm sorry. On the Cincinnati side, I read the notes, but then thought we talked about it and we didn't.
Okay. On the Cincinnati side, you are gonna start most of your guys here against Baltimore. They've been favorable against most of the positions.
You're gonna start Joe Burrow. You're gonna start Jamar Chase. If Tee Higgins is out of concussion protocol, which he is in again, then you are gonna start Tee Higgins.
And then you're going to start Chase Brown as well. I think they're all good starts. You're gonna sit Mike guyscki.
Baltimore is tougher against the tight end position. And yes, he had a good game last week. I don't think that's going to continue.
Now, if Higgins is out, that brings the Yoshivosh question into play just a little bit again. And he's kind of been that guy that has been a good plug and play guy if you're really in need. So if you were able to stash him and you kept him, not a bad play to pop in against Baltimore.
And then I'm gonna sit the Cincinnati defense for sure.
[Amanda Black] (23:25 - 23:45)
All right. The Chargers versus Kansas City. This is gonna be a brawl.
That is for sure. Some good defensive matchup versus good defensive matchup here. So obviously we know the Chargers are playing a tough Kansas City defense and a Kansas City team that now at this point has to win out in order to be into the playoffs, which is crazy that Kansas City is 6-7.
[Angela Sims] (23:46 - 23:54)
Oh, I heard it. I heard it. And literally my fifth grade teacher mind, I just out loud was like 6-7.
I was like, what?
[Amanda Black] (23:54 - 25:25)
Who am I? What am I doing? They're 6-7, baby.
Who would have thought, kid? Who would have thought? I know I watched, I think it was, what's Cartman?
What's that show with the animated- South Park, yeah. So they have a whole South Park episode on 6-7 and it was like the Kansas City Chiefs and they're like 6-7. It was great.
I loved it. Anyways, must starts here for the Chargers. Omarion Hampton, you are playing Omarion Hampton.
That's for sure. They're going to manufacture touches to Omarion Hampton. They know that they're facing a tough Kansas City defense who's good against the run.
But the beautiful part about Omarion Hampton, we watched it last week. He gets involved in that short pass check down game. They're going to keep that involved.
They've got a smart head coach. They know what they're doing. Omarion Hampton is great at that.
So he is an easy play for me. The only wide receiver, wide receiver, wide receiver you're considering is Ladd McConkey, in my opinion. I don't want any part of QJ.
I don't want any part of Keenan Allen. There's just too much unpredictability versus a very good Kansas City defense. Ladd is the only guy you could fire up.
But personally, in my opinion, I would favor someone like Zay Flowers ahead of Ladd McConkey because this matchup is going to be difficult. We are also looking at a hurt Justin Herbert. He did have surgery on that non-throwing hand.
We saw him in a brace. He seemed to weather okay. He was taking some hits still.
He's out there throwing his damn body around. Nonetheless, I'm not planning to play Justin Herbert against this Kansas City defense. And I'm also not trying to play Justin Herbert because of how banged up he is.
Whether we want to believe it or not, I think that injury does take away from his potency of getting that ball downfield. And I think it will continue to do that.
[Angela Sims] (25:25 - 25:32)
So he's not someone I'm looking for. And their offensive line is not great at protecting him either. So kind of couple that all together, it's a little bit risky.
[Amanda Black] (25:33 - 27:38)
Yeah, not great. And so, Justin, hello. JJ, James McCarthy, Trevor Lawrence, Baker Mayfield, Jackson Dart, they'd all come ahead of Justin Herbert this week.
And if I had to choose between Mahomes and Herbert, I would lean Mahomes, a healthy Mahomes, ahead of a hurtin' Justin Herbert, in my opinion. I don't think Vidal's a full set. I wouldn't play him this week.
Let's put it this way. He's not going to be irrelevant. I'll be interested to see what the snap count happens moving forward, specifically for week 16 and week 17, if there's any relevance there.
Just not a start this week because of how tough the Kansas City defense is against the run. I also think you have better upside outside of Gadsden as a tight end. His production has dropped tremendously.
He's hard to trust at this point. So in my opinion, guys like Goddard, Theo Johnson, Isaiah Likely, or Mark Andrews, Jawan Johnson, Schultz, Loveland, Kincaid would all come ahead of him. And then I'm sitting that defense of the Chargers as well.
Kansas City, my only clear and obvious must start, I'm gonna start Rasheed Rice. I know, obviously, that entire offense did us dirty last week, but in no means am I gonna sit Rasheed Rice down in the playoffs. I'm gonna go ahead and throw him in my lineup.
He has too much upside for me to ignore. Patrick Mahomes, yes, he's a streaming quarterback option. However, yes, the Chargers defense is good.
They're going to apply pressure. They're going to give the Kansas City offense a very hard time again. In my opinion, like I said, I would start Mahomes ahead of Herbert, but I would start guys like Jackson Dart ahead of Mahomes.
I'd start Prescott, Purdy, Joe Burrow, May, Stafford, Allen all ahead of Mahomes as well. So Mahomes has just slipped down those quarterback rankings quite a bit. I'm sitting both Pacheco and Hunt together.
They're not as fun as when there's just one of them. So I don't want any part of that. I'm starting guys like Chris Rodriguez, Marks, Neal, Swift, Hampton, Singletary, all above those guys.
Travis Kelsey, whoo, butterfingers Kelsey this week, man. He dropped a lot of balls. That was unfortunate.
In my opinion, I'm looking to move on from him this week. I would look at guys like Fannin, Kincaid, Pitts, Theo Johnson, a little risky, but I'd go for it. I'd take my upside ahead of a slowing down Kelsey as well.
And then I'm sitting the Kansas City defense.
[Angela Sims] (27:38 - 28:24)
Moving into my next game, Buffalo versus New England. New England defense is pretty good against most positions. They are tougher against the running back position, but you're still starting James Cook.
He is a must start. You're then obviously starting Josh Allen and you can go ahead and plug in Dalton Kincaid as well. And Josh Allen loved him some tight end last week.
So I think that's going to continue. At the wide receiver position, Khalil Shakir is a sit this week for me. I'm going to start guys like Ladd, Sutton, Pittman, Teddero and McMillan even over Khalil Shakir.
I just don't trust him. The only thing that made him relevant last week was that touchdown. He's just been kind of hit or miss.
Yes, New England's easier against the wide receiver, but I think because you have a choice between different wide receivers, there are better and more reliable ones out there.
[Amanda Black] (28:24 - 28:34)
Yeah, I think the only thing too I say is the only Pittman conversation is if it is the backup, backup, backup quarterback for Pittman, Shakir goes ahead for sure.
[Angela Sims] (28:34 - 29:05)
Yeah, you're right, you're right. So watch the, I guess, weird ass quarterback decisions made for the Indianapolis Colts. I completely blanked when I made that note.
Kincaid's a start, like I said, but Allen has been favoring that tight end position. So you can take a look at a guy like Dawson Knox. He has had some relevance, but you're not going to start him.
There are better tight ends out there with really supreme match-ups. If you were in such a pickle that you had to grab him, which you shouldn't be, he's going to be a better start than Otten or Hawkinson, but we don't really have to talk about that.
[Amanda Black] (29:06 - 29:11)
I would've thrown like a Micah Sickey in far before I ever dipped down into a Dawson Knox.
[Angela Sims] (29:11 - 31:00)
Into the Dawson Knox, sure. And then I'm going to sit the Buffalo defense against this New England offense. So on the New England side, you're 100% starting, starting, I can't talk, starting Drake May, 100%, he's been that dude.
Stephenson and Henderson are also solid starts. I'm leaning toward Henderson. Buffalo is not good against the run.
That is where they're very weak at. So Henderson, we haven't talked about them for a week. So I kind of forgot about this whole thing, but hopefully Henderson's production has been putting him in the lead and he's going to be the guy.
So I would roll with him for sure. Wide receivers for the New England Patriots. We have Stephon Diggs, Kayshon Boutte
Is it Mack Hollins? Is I'm saying that right? Or is it Mark Mack?
Mack, M-A-C-K, correct? Okay, okay. We're going to go with it, Mack Hollins.
If I had the choice between the three, I'm obviously not even going to think about Hollins. I'm kind of in between Diggs and Booty here. Booty has that more big playability, that kind of a boomer bust player where he can get that big giant reception or touchdown and makes him relevant.
Diggs has been very inconsistent. Now, that being said, I'm starting Diggs over guys like anyone, let's say from the Colts or the New England, New York Jets, those guys who have that really icky quarterback situation where we don't know who's going to be the quarterback. Is it going to be the second, the third or whatever string?
But I would start Diggs, or I would sit Diggs over a guy like Courtland Sutton. Even though he has a harder matchup, he's been a lot more reliable. At the tight end position, I'm sitting Hunter Henry.
Buffalo is very good against the tight end position. I'm going to start Dalton Schultz. I'm going to start Darren Waller over Hunter Henry.
I'm going to also sit the New England defense.
[Amanda Black] (31:00 - 34:57)
Washington versus the New York Giants. So we're going to start with Washington. Washington's coming off of a very terrible week, right?
They just didn't play well. Don't judge any of those players off of one week. I know we all want to do it, but we can't, right?
We did that with Zay Flowers, and then he had a really good game. So like, I would just be careful of making any snap judgments. You would expect to see a bounce back week against an easier defense this week.
However, every single one of these plays is a conversation. Mariota slash Daniels, either of them could be a possible streaming quarterback this week. We don't know who's going to play.
They did come out and say that Daniel's injury wasn't too terrible. He could have come back in in week 14. They just held him out because they were getting their ass kicked, and they didn't want to risk him anymore.
I would start Mariota and or Daniels. They're really the same production. You're going to get like 15 to 17 points from them in my opinion.
I would start them ahead of Jordan Love, Sam Darnold, or Justin Herbert this week. I would sit those guys, and I would play Lawrence Goff or Dart this week ahead of Mariota or Daniels. So just some context there.
We got Scary Terry, and we've got Debo Samuels. To me, both of them can get into your lineup this week. I would think about starting a Terry over Stefan Diggs.
I would start Scary Terry ahead of Emeka Ibuka, Pittman slash Pierce, depending on the quarterback situation, right? I would sit Terry McLaurin and play Jacoby Myers. I would play Wandale Robinson, Olave, Jamison Williams all ahead of Terry McLaurin.
Same, very similar conversation with Debo Samuels. I think he's an easy, you can throw him in your lineup, and you're not like overly worried about it. It's a better matchup for him.
And I would start him over again, Pittman, all of the wide receivers from Chicago. I would start him ahead of the Colts wide receivers, like I already said, based on who the hell is going to end up being their quarterback. I would sit him and I would play Sutton, DK, and Justin Jefferson ahead of Debo Samuels for reference.
Chris Rodriguez, very similar conversation. He's a running back who's been consistent for you. Is he going to score points like a Bijon Robinson?
No, but can he consistently get you 10 to 12 points? Yes, and that's sometimes all you can rely on. And he's someone I'm going to start ahead of, Kareem Hunt, Isaiah Pacheco.
I'm starting him ahead. Montgomery Coram, Bam or Carter this week. I'm starting him ahead of someone like Stevenson this week as well.
Not Henderson. I would preference Henderson over Rodriguez. I would sit Rodriguez behind Singletary if he's alone in the backfield.
Hampton, Aaron Jones, and maybe Jordan Mason as well with a favorable matchup there as well. Urtz is done for the year. Womp, womp, womp.
That means we will see Ben Sinnott as the tight end. And I am not interested in that. I'm also sitting the commander's defense.
Giants, we get them back, baby. They're just a fun team to watch. Theo Johnson, Jackson Dart are both must starts of the week.
You can throw them both in your lineup and feel very comfortable about that. I also think guys like Wondell Robinson is a really good start for the week. He's not an auto start in my opinion.
It depends on who you have, but I am starting Wondell ahead of Diggs, Jennings, Godwin, Egbuka. I would consider Slayton a risky screaming start of the week. We just don't know what his output's gonna look like.
He's coming off an injury and then they had their bye weeks. We just don't know exactly what his output's gonna look like. But if you are really dealing with some issues in your wide receiver room, like you're like, I'm sitting on Troy Franklin who's just been shit in the bed.
I've got Alec Pierce who might be dealing with Phillip Rivers. I would go ahead and throw Slayton in ahead of them. Singletary I think would be a great running back start, specifically if Tyrone Tracy ends up not playing week 15.
We do not know at this point when we're filming this episode. If Singletary is alone in the backfield, absolutely. If he's splitting time with Tyrone Tracy, maybe, depends on who else you have.
I would start Singletary ahead of Pollard, Hubbard, Corum, Monte, Gainwell. I would sit Singletary and play Marks, Neal, if Kamara doesn't play, Hampton, Aaron Jones, and Jordan Mason. Again, Tracy, if I had to, like if Tracy plays, I would favor a Chris Rodriguez ahead of a Tyrone Tracy, in my opinion.
He's just getting more of the work and I'm sitting the Giants defense.
[Angela Sims] (34:58 - 36:55)
Okay, cool. My next matchup is Las Vegas versus Philadelphia. On the Las Vegas side of the ball, Ash and Gente and Brock Bowers are the only must starts for me.
Philly's a little bit easier against the running back position. I think Gente will have a bounce back, will have an opportunity to exploit that. And then Brock Bowers is just Brock Bowers.
You are sitting Geno Smith. I know he's injured, so you're not even thinking about a backup. This could be the week of the poo-poo quarterbacks and I kind of want to see it.
You are also going to sit all of the wide receivers for the Las Vegas Raiders. I don't trust any of them. So Trey Tucker, Jack Besch, Tyler Lockett, don't like any of them.
Philly's a strong pass defense, so don't even think about it. And then you are really, that's about it. All the conversations for the Raiders aren't really that good and you're going to set the defense.
On the Philadelphia side, this weaker or this defense opens up some of these offensive plays for me. So AJ Brown, you're starting. Devante Smith, you're starting.
Saquon Barkley, you are starting. You can also, we're going to talk about Dallas Goddard because this is the curse of it. Every time I mentioned Dallas Goddard or you mentioned Dallas Goddard, he's a sit, he's a great start, vice versa.
So we'll talk about that in a minute, but I'm going to talk about Jalen Hurts here. I don't love him as a start for this week. Las Vegas is very good at applying pressure to the quarterback.
He's been getting beat and kind of giving a lot of, getting a lot of pressure rather. So I would like a Brock Purdy this week, a Jackson Dart this week over a Jalen Hurts. And then going to talk about Goddard here.
So, you know, this is one of the strengths for Las Vegas. I don't love him as a start this week, but again, this could be the curse of the Let's Talk Football Says Curse that then Dallas Goddard does great. I think there are better options.
Adolton Schultz is a better option. Even a Kyle Pitts is a better option this week than Dallas Goddard. And I'm going to give the Philadelphia defense a start, even though they kind of been a little bit iffy, but they still did the thing for you last week.
[Amanda Black] (36:56 - 37:04)
For sure. All right. And again, with a struggling quarterback situation of either Geno Smith or Kenny Pickett, I think that's a good, good, good option for the defense.
[Angela Sims] (37:04 - 37:07)
That's who the backup is. How did I forget the pickster was there?
[Amanda Black] (37:07 - 37:09)
Oh, Kenny, Kenny himself. He's there.
[Angela Sims] (37:10 - 37:15)
All right. Well, my matchup is very- Out of all of these obscuro quarterbacks, Kenny Pickett might be the best one.
[Amanda Black] (37:16 - 39:00)
I will. He's definitely, at least he has the most experience. Some of these other guys, they're just rookies back there, probably shaking in their fucking boots.
Except Riley Leonard held it down. He actually performed very well. I was very surprised by it.
Everyone else, it was very unfortunate. It was bad. Okay, I got New York Jets versus the Jacksonville Jaguars.
So the New York Jets, we're going to keep this conversation very short. If for some reason, and I have to review my notes, Brady Cook, if he is the quarterback, everyone gets that, Brees Hall included. Every single one of them gets sat on your bench.
Don't even think about it. You don't want any part of that offense. Because at that point, Jacksonville's a good ass defense as it is.
If their only threat is Brees Hall, what are they going to do? Shut down Brees Hall. You're fucked.
They're not going to be able to get their run game going. If Tyra Taylor or Justin Fields is healthy enough to play, you can fire up Brees Hall into your lineup. I particularly don't want any part of the wide receivers because this is a difficult match if the Jacksonville Jaguars defense is no joke.
So that's it. Everyone else is a sit. Don't even think about it.
Cool? Cool. Jacksonville, on the other hand, there's some easy must-starts here.
You're starting Jacoby Myers, who has made his way into that wide receiver one position. We love that for him. You're starting Etienne.
You're starting the Jags defense. Because again, who's going to play quarterback? We don't know.
And any of them are good options for the Jaguars defense. So we love that. Trevor Lawrence is a favorable streaming quarterback this week.
I actually lean towards him being a starting quarterback this week. I would play Lawrence ahead of Jalen Hurts this week as well. So like, even like a Patrick Mahomes, a Justin Herbert, like these are all guys I might take the upside of Trevor Lawrence, who's been consistent.
And at this point, when you're in the playoffs, you really don't want to take a four-point, a nine-point game because it's Patty Mahomes, right? Or because it's Jalen Hurts. They're not tush-pushing Jalen in the endzone anymore
[Angela Sims] (39:01 - 39:06)
Or don't get caught up in it. This could be the week.
It could be that they're good. And you know what I mean? Just go with the consistency.
[Amanda Black] (39:07 - 40:22)
Yeah. Yeah. So I like Trevor Lawrence this week.
And again, ahead of guys like Darnold. Jordan Love, Bo Nix have hard matchups. I would start Trevor Lawrence.
Brissette has a hard matchup. Williams, Herbert, all those guys. BTJ, flex option.
You're not gonna expect anything great because they just don't connect well. Trevor Lawrence and BTJ just don't connect well. Nonetheless, I think there is some upside here.
And I would start him ahead of Christian Watson this week with a really hard matchup against the Denver Broncos. Both Mitchell and Mechie, those are both the New York Jets wide receivers. The potpourri of Colts wide receivers, depending on quarterback situation.
We'll keep talking about it nonetheless. If Riley Leonard did play, I would go ahead and start Pittman or Pierce ahead of BTJ as a heads up. I'm gonna sit BTJ and play like Sutton Shakir lad, just because I think they have a little bit more consistent upside than BTJ has to offer you.
Tootin is a full sit for me. He's not getting enough of the work and ETN is taking most of that. Breton Strange is a great streaming tight end option over guys specifically like Kelsey this week.
In fact, I would make that decision personally in my lineup. Maybe even someone like a Tyler Warren, depending on the quarterback situation. So there's just a lot of like pending situations that you're gonna have to watch and wait because we don't know what's gonna happen.
And I don't wanna tell you to start a guy and then later figure out that his quarterback's not there and you're fucked. So just as a heads up there.
[Angela Sims] (40:22 - 41:53)
Yeah, you don't wanna find out on Saturday morning that old man Rivers is passing the ball to Tyler Warren. It could be good, it could be bad, but he gets really fired up if I remember correct from old school games. He's a fiery dude.
He gets snarling. Okay, going into my next matchup, I got Arizona versus the Houston Texans. For Arizona, not many people.
I wanna start here besides Trey McBride because Trey McBride is a very elite tight end. Jacoby Brissette is a sit for me in this matchup. He's been really, really good in kind of getting us through this pinch of kind of the quarterback situation.
I would sit him over JJ McCarthy. I'd play CJ Stroud over him this week. Marcus Mariota or Jaden Daniels, kind of that same kind of issue that Amanda was talking about.
I would start Marvin Harrison or Michael Wilson, just depending on what the status of Marv is. I think they're both solid plays because they are just good wide receivers. Michael Wilson has just stepped up and been the dude.
Even in tough matchups, he showed up. And then at the running back position, because Houston is such a tough defensive unit, especially against the run, I'm sitting Bam Knight. I'm sitting Michael Carter.
I don't trust them this week. And then I am going to sit the Falcons. Again, I did that all day when I thought of notes.
Falcons, what is this one? I don't even know what this one is now. The other bird, Cardinals.
The birds, the damn birds were getting me.
[Amanda Black] (41:53 - 41:54)
I was like, I don't know what you're talking about.
[Angela Sims] (41:54 - 42:47)
Who the hell is she talking about? I'm sitting the Arizona Cardinals defense. On the other side of the ball for Houston, there are some starts for me.
Nico Collins is a start. I'm going to start Woody Marks very confidently this week. I'm going to start Dalton Schultz confidently this week.
These are ideal matchups for them. Players to talk about, C.J. Stroud, he's kind of on the fence for me, hasn't been great. I'm going to sit him this week.
There's guys like, I would even put a Tua or a Rarin Rodgers in a pinch over them to stream for the week, then C.J. Stroud. Arizona can apply good pressure on the quarterback. I'm going to sit Jaden Higgins.
He's been doing good. His performance has been steadily increasing, but this week I just don't love it. He didn't perform terribly last week against a tougher Kansas City defense, but I just don't see his productivity being there yet.
And I'm definitely going to start that Houston Texans defense because they are those guys.
[Amanda Black] (42:48 - 45:59)
They're looking great, my friends. All right, Green Bay versus Denver. Another very difficult matchup for a lot of these players, which is hard for the first week of the playoffs.
So our must-starts from Green Bay, it's short, it's Josh Jacobs. You're going to put him in your lineup. You're probably never going to be sitting him down unless you're in an eight team or less league and you're stacked in the running back room.
After that, I am not looking to play anyone else, right? I'm not looking to really play Jordan Love unless I'm very, very desperate, but I think you have plenty of upside options. We've talked a lot about that.
I would be starting someone like Mahomes, Brissett maybe even Bo Nix ahead of Jordan Love. It's a hard, it's a really hard matchup for Jordan Love. Jackson Dart, Trevor Lawrence, all would come ahead of him this week.
I'm also not looking to play specifically Christian Watson, who don't get me wrong, has been explosive two weeks in a row. However, who is going to cover Christian Watson? Sir Tan.
He's going to get the heavy coverage from the Denver Broncos defense. There is a weaker safety or corner, I can't remember which one, on the Denver Broncos defense. And you would assume Green Bay is going to scheme up plays towards that player.
Not going to be covering Christian Watson. He's going to be covering one of the other potpourri of wide receivers from the Green Bay Packers. We have Wicks.
We have Matthew Golden, who I'm not going to really consider, but we have one guy who I think is actually going to be, I know, is Jaden Reed. So Jaden Reed's coming off of injury. He played last week.
He'll be playing obviously again this week. Wicks was banged up and didn't get as much action. I think if there's one player who might end up having a favorable upside, it's Reed ahead of like even Dubs.
So don't get me wrong. Would I feel good about it? No, it would be like absolutely steel underpants, stomach in absolute trenches, like bad stuff.
Nonetheless, one guy from the wide receivers from Green Bay is going to do good. Can you predict it? Do you want to predict it?
Probably not. Same thing with the tight end for the Green Bay Packers. Musgraves not interested in starting him either.
The Green Bay defense, I would look at other streaming options. Same thing with like the Denver Broncos defense. I think both of these defenses, we could potentially be looking at other streaming options.
They don't have a great playoff run anyways. So not something I'm overly excited about. Denver Broncos, my only must start here.
I'm going to fire up RJ Harvey. He's alone in the backfield. He's taking most of the work.
He's looked really good. Yes, this is a difficult defense. Yes, he will have a hard time.
However, I still feel really good about RJ Harvey this week. One wide receiver is Sutton. He's the only one I would consider starting.
I'm not starting Troy Franklin this week. His production has dropped tremendously. Two weeks in a row, he's gotten about three to four receptions.
So it just doesn't look really great right now. Not excited about starting Troy Franklin, but I would feel more comfortable starting Sutton in my opinion. Same conversation with Bo Nix as Jordan Love.
I don't really want to start him against a difficult Green Bay defense, against a applying pressure Michael Parsons. I'm not excited about it. So I would take guys like JJ McCarthy, Jackson Dart, Sam Darnall, Mariota, or Daniels ahead of Bo Nix this week.
Personally, Ingram is just not even anyone you want to consider at all. And then again, same thing with the defense here. Just, I would probably look at other options if you can and look at at this point, this deep into like the playoff run.
You're looking for who's playing weak quarterbacks, backup quarterbacks, favorable defenses that you can strain in and out.
[Angela Sims] (46:00 - 48:02)
All right, my next matchup Detroit versus the Rams on the Detroit side. I'm going to start Jameer, Jamar. Oh God, the Jamar, Jameer gate is happening again in my mind.
Gibbs, even though it is a tough running back matchup for the Rams, he's so explosive. He can do everything. He is just amazing.
And just every week shows up and shows out. I'm going to confidently start Amon Ross St. Brown. I'm also going to put in Jameson Williams as a must start for me.
I think this is a really good matchup. Jared Goff for me would be a sit. This isn't an easy matchup for the quarterback.
You know, last week was a dream matchup for Goff and it could have been a little bit better. So not trusting him as much. We're going to sit David Montgomery.
I don't trust him this week against that tough Rams defense. Really no tight ends to mention here. And then I'm going to sit the Detroit Lions defense as well.
Moving into the Ram side, you are starting a good amount of guys. You are starting Matthew Stafford, who have to mention, had a touchdown or threw a touchdown and his cute ass little daughter was doing this little Taylor Swift dance. And it kept coming up on my like, you know, social media.
And it was just the cutest thing. His family is just so cute. So cute.
Anyways, so you're starting Stafford. You're starting Pukunukuwa. Oh my God.
I love Pukunukuwa on my team so much. And Devontae Adams had a down week. Don't think that's a trend.
This is a dream matchup for these two. They're both going to thrive. I'm also going to confidently start Kyron Williams.
It's a tougher matchup, but he should be fine. He's their go-to dude. That kind of goes into the Blake Quorum situation.
You're sitting Blake Quorum this week. I know he was, you know, that maybe the point leader, I think he was like running back two for the week, which is outrageous because he's just kind of the handcuff to Williams. This is a tougher matchup.
They're going to lean on Williams much more. You're going to sit the tight end like Colby Parkinson, who you've heard and the name has popped up, but there are much better options who are much more reliable. And you're going to give the Rams defense a start this week against this offense.
[Amanda Black] (48:02 - 51:02)
All right. Moving on to my next matchup, Carolina Panthers versus the New Orleans Saints. So we'll start with Carolina.
There's two guys you're going to go ahead and throw into your lineup. Rico Doudle, Tep McMillan. Both consistent getting targets from Bryce Young for Tep McMillan.
And Rico Doudle is that guy. We saw Chuba with that up week right before the bye. That's nothing to worry about.
The only thing to consider is the Carolina Panthers are going to give it to the hot hand. So if for some reason Chuba is hot, they will favor Chuba over Rico, but I'm going to consider Rico the more consistent hot hand moving forward. So both those guys can go ahead and get started.
Bryce Young, you have better options out there. There is no reason you should be looking at Bryce Young to start. You could start guys like JJ McCarthy.
I would even start someone like a Shadeura Sanders ahead of Bryce Young. That's just my personal opinion. The matchup is better.
And I would just personally like to take a risk on someone who's been a little bit more consistent as opposed to how inconsistent Bryce Young truly has been. There's no tight end options to consider here. And again, the defense, maybe a potential streaming defense.
This is someone who you might snag off a free agency. You're not going to put in a waiver claim or you didn't put in a waiver claim for them, but they might still be out there. They are still playing Shuck.
He's a rookie, right? He's still going to do rookie things at times. So nonetheless, I don't think that rules the Panthers defense out as a potentially high favorable matchup.
And the Panthers defense has not looked too shabby this year so far. Moving over to the New Orleans Saints, Olave, as long as he's healthy, we've dealt with that back injury that left him questionable for week 14. Who knows how he feels this week.
So watch injury reports. Don't worry about them going questionable early in the week. Everyone goes questionable early in the week.
What you really want to watch for is as we're getting closer to like Thursday, are they rolling him in or out? What's going on? Friday, Saturday, that's when we want to look for his availability.
If for some reason Olave did end up sitting due to aggravating that back further, Vele is a great start, but I don't really want to play Vele unless Olave sits down, in my opinion. Neal, as long as Kamara's out, is a great play. I think even if Kamara does, I still would feel comfy playing Neal.
I would assume they would split that backfield 50-50 with how good Neal has looked. And Kamara might just be used as a little bit of a relief to Neal, in my opinion. Shuck is not someone I'm looking at unless you're in a two quarterback league.
Again, very similar to Bryce Young. There really shouldn't be a scenario where you need him with every single week, 15 quarterback in play this week. Vele, like I said, the only reason I'm going to start him is if Olave doesn't play.
Maybe as a desperate streaming flex option, depending on who you have, like I would maybe think about going Vele ahead of Troy Franklin. It would be risky, but I might give that an option. You could consider it ahead of like a Christian Watson.
Christian Watson's mashup is going to be really hard. I don't feel good about that at all. I think it might have a little bit more favorable upside with Vele, but it would be very risky.
You could look at it though, if you're willing to take the risk. Jawan Johnson, he's always going to be a streaming quarterback option. He's always coming in in like five to 10 point range, or tight end.
He's always going to be a streaming tight end option. He's falling in that like five to eight point range, right? So like you're not pissed off about it.
He didn't Travis Kelce you, right? Like not too shabby.
[Angela Sims] (51:02 - 51:04)
Apparently he's still alive.
[Amanda Black] (51:04 - 51:26)
Apparently he's still alive. He's still hitting it. I would sit Jawan Johnson and play like fan and kiddle, even like maybe likely or Mark Andrews ahead of Jawan Johnson and Breton Strange.
But I would play Jawan Johnson ahead of like Loveland commit if all the wide receivers for Chicago plays and Hawkinson as well. And then I'm going to sit the Saints defense.
[Angela Sims] (51:26 - 54:17)
Okay. All right. Moving into Tennessee, San Francisco, Tennessee.
I mean, they played the Browns. So I mean, and then Quenton Jenkins threw a pick and that whole play was just very perplexing to me. But that being said, I really don't feel confident starting any of the Tennessee guys per usual except against the San Francisco defense.
So I'm going to sit Cam Ward. I mean, Amanda just mentioned it with Shutter Sanders. I mean, if you're picking, you know, between quarterbacks that might be a guy that you go to with a bigger upside over Cam Ward.
Not a terrible start in a two quarterback league, but I don't, you know, entirely trust him. Ellicott, Io Manor, Chimray DK are both sits for me. Just they're a little bit easier against the wide receiver role for San Francisco.
But again, you have choices against everybody, right? So you're not going to choose those guys over other guys in my opinion. You're also going to sit Pollard.
You're going to sit Spears. You didn't see Pollard making that big ass game. He came out swinging.
I don't think that's going to continue either. Again, better options for you. The only guy that I kind of want to talk about that might have a little bit of upside that you might want to clench the butt cheeks and give a try would be the Chiga Conqua play.
Not a bad matchup. He had a quiet week 14, but he couldn't make a move. This is an easy tight end matchup.
So if you really want to kind of just throw, you know, a dart into the air and hope it hits something, great. But again, if we were talking, hey, who am I choosing between this and this because I have so many people on by, then this becomes more relevant, but everybody's in play, right? So he's probably not even going to be thought about.
And then you're sitting the Tennessee defense. Don't like them here. San Francisco, you were obviously starting Christian McCaffrey and I want to give out a shout, a shout out to all the ladies who started their playoffs last week.
Amanda and I talked about this and were without Christian McCaffrey and somehow you grinded it out and you made it without him. I want to hear from those ladies. So like shout us out on social media and say, hey, I am a CMC bi-week survivor or something like that because I want to know.
And you're also going to start George Kittle. He's just the guy that you're starting this week as well. Brock Purdy's a great start against the weak Tennessee defense.
Jawan Jennings for me would be the start that I would pick over like a Jennings or Pierce Hall discussion. Now Ricky Pierce could be a sneaky start, right? So this is a good matchup.
He's been a little bit shaky. They had a bi-week. He might be ready to rock and roll here.
So someone you could kind of take a shot out if you did grab him when he was out and on IR and think, well, I'm going to take a chance on him. This could be the way to do that. And San Francisco is a definite streaming option against this offense for sure.
[Amanda Black] (54:18 - 56:38)
All right, Minnesota versus the Dallas Cowboys. So we'll start with the Minnesota Vikings. Aaron Jones, Jordan Mason.
I think both guys, you can go ahead and throw up into your lineup. They're splitting about 50-50 right now simply because Aaron Jones is dealing with injury, right? He's banged up, he's hurt.
So they are, you're most likely going to see them split 50-50, probably what I would assume for the remainder of the year. We'll obviously check on that week by week, but I would assume that's probably their plan to keep Aaron Jones as healthy as possible so that we don't have to go down to one running back. Unfortunately, you're starting JJ and Edison.
Listen, it's the playoffs. You're not going to put Justin Jefferson on your bench. He's had two back-to-back sub-15 yard weeks.
Asinine behavior. Ab, like what? You heard that right.
That's not sub-15 point weeks. 15 yard weeks. Like it's insane.
But again, if you're in a playoff run, in no way are you going to make a decision to throw JJ on your bench because at any point they can finally connect and he can drop 30 points for you. I have a feeling now, I love Justin Jefferson because he really hasn't thrown any big diva fits about this. He's kept quiet.
He hasn't tweeted. He hasn't done anything. He's just silently been understanding that his team needs to get their shit together.
And you would assume that they are desperately trying to get him more involved because they need him. But I think you can start JJ and Addison this week. This is a very favorable matchup against a shitty Dallas Cowboys defense.
We've talked about it a ton, but JJ McCarthy is a streaming quarterback. No, he's not consistent. No, you're going to feel a little bit uncomfortable about it, but this is a favorable matchup for him.
So it's odd to not take that opportunity if you're desperate for a quarterback with a bunch of shitty options and bad matchups in the week 15. To me, Hawkinson is probably just a full ass set. There's plenty of other tight ends out there that I would look at.
Jawan Johnson, Theo Johnson, likely Schultz, Strange, Henry, Loveland, Kincaid, all would come ahead of Hawkinson. And then the Vikings defense, they look great. They've played well.
They shut down the commanders fully, but the commanders are not the Dallas Cowboys. So I'd probably look to stream a different defense this week. Dallas Cowboys, very similar to how it is every week.
You're firing everyone up into your lineup. Now, CD Lamb did get a concussion. Every single update seems to point to his availability in week 15.
I am the CD manager and I have the buy and I hope to everything they sit him down and let him rest. CD baby, you take that rest, okay? I said so, you deserve it.
Not everybody has your luxury.
[Angela Sims] (56:39 - 56:40)
Sorry, not sorry.
[Amanda Black] (56:41 - 56:51)
Nonetheless, if Lamb plays, you're playing him. Pickens, yes, you're playing him. Are we seeing why George Pickens was dropped from the Steelers?
Because he's looked great with the Cowboys, but he just didn't look as if he really cared.
[Angela Sims] (56:52 - 57:04)
I knew, I knew, I knew that it was a fluke that he started having these big games and looked like he was in tune with everything. I knew the Diva was going to come out because he is the biggest Diva. Yes, yes.
[Amanda Black] (57:05 - 57:26)
However, you're gonna- He's like on A.J. Brown Diva level in my opinion. He's up there. Anyways, you're playing Pickens, you're playing Javonte Williams, you're playing Jack Prescott, you're playing Jake Ferguson.
All of them are great starts. Really nothing to consider there and you're not going to go ahead and play the defense. The only thing to talk about, if CD did miss week 15, I think, I can't say his fucking name.
Flannoy. Flannoy.
[Angela Sims] (57:27 - 57:27)
Yes.
[Amanda Black] (57:28 - 57:30)
I want to add the R and I know it's just so bad.
[Angela Sims] (57:31 - 57:31)
Flornet.
[Amanda Black] (57:32 - 57:39)
Flornet is how I want to say it. Anyways, Flannoy would be a streaming wide receiver options if CD misses week 15.
[Angela Sims] (57:40 - 59:57)
Okay, cool. I like it. And he was a relevant op or a talking point earlier than went away.
And then last week, I mean, he showed up when he was out. So last matchup for me is the Monday night football game, Miami versus Pittsburgh. I'm going to start with the Pittsburgh side.
The only guy I'm really confidently starting is Jalen Warren. DK Metcalf is on my list as a must start as well. He kind of showed what he was made of this past week, but he was listed as kind of like maybe not injured, but sick, or there was a sickness or something.
So something to kind of keep out and monitor on. But if he's good to go, I'm plugging him in, no problem. I'm going to sit Aaron Rodgers this week.
He had a better game. He started to make some moves, but I'm not confident with him at all. Probably don't even have him in your roster.
So don't think about him. Kenneth Gainwell is a sit. I think they're going to rely on Jalen Warren much more in this matchup.
He's been relevant, but he's going to kind of be in that backup role this week. And then this is a dream matchup for a tight end, but Pittsburgh has like a bajillion tight ends. So who the hell would I even say?
So I'm not going to say any. So if you happen to have some obscuro tight end for Pittsburgh, which you probably do not, then great, play them because it's a good matchup, but no one to really even say it's been inconsistent. They throw to everybody.
And then against Miami, I could say the Steelers could be a streaming defense that could be on my streaming defense list. I haven't really seen that too much out there, but Miami could be a little bit shaky in the offense. So, and the Steelers come around and then they fade and they come back around.
So we'll see. On the Miami side, you are starting Devon Achan. I know there was a little bit of a question of an injury.
I think he's fine. I think they even said he could have came back in if needed. You're starting Jalen Waddell.
You're starting Darren Waller. This is a solid start for a tight end against a Pittsburgh defense. Tua is a sit, but if you're in a snag where you lost to Daniel Jones and you need a quarterback, you can go grab Tua and stream him for this week if you need to.
Darren Waller, I already mentioned Darren Waller, okay. And then the Miami defense, I'm gonna say sit if you really needed somebody to stream and you could think about it, but more of a sit for me this week as well.
[Amanda Black] (59:57 - 1:05:23)
All right, final matchup for the week here for me. We have the Indianapolis Colts versus the Seattle Seahawks. I feel like we have talked about the Indianapolis Colts often because they're just a very relevant matchup this week because of their quarterback issues.
So we saw Danny Dimes tear his Achilles. Poor guy was definitely feeling some type of way about that. And then we did see Riley Leonard come in and relieve him.
He did hold down the fort fairly decently, kept all of those players fantasy football relevant, which was nice to see for a backup to come in. However, he sustained a knee injury in week 14 and now he's questionable for week 15. So much so, like we said, they are dialing up Mr. Old Phillip Rivers himself and trying to get him back on the team. So if for some reason the worst happens and Phillip Rivers does enter in and plays, or they have to pull someone other obscure free agent that's never played in the NFL before, you don't feel good about starting literally anyone. You probably have to start Jonathan Taylor, but you don't feel good about it. And you're probably not gonna watch the game when you start him.
Because if they have a, you know, a yes, it's like through finger, it's scary. Cause if they have Phillip Rivers, old man Phillip Rivers, or a player who's never played in the NFL before, never taken snaps with the team, doesn't know the playbook at all, which that's why they're reaching towards Phillip Rivers cause at least he has NFL experience and can like understand a playbook. They're going all that defense, all Seattle's defense, which is good by the way, is going to scheme up stopping Jonathan Taylor and that's it.
Cause they're not worried about anything else. So like you're worried about it. Now, if for some reason Riley Leonard rallies, which let's hope he does, let's takes one for the team and rallies up, right?
Pulls a Baker and says I'm playing anyways. Then I think everyone becomes more relevant. Jonathan Taylor becomes more relevant.
Michael Pittman and Alec Pierce become relevant. So you can start Pittman and Pierce if Riley Leonard ends up playing. You can start Tyler Warren if Riley Leonard ends up playing.
You could start Jonathan Taylor regardless probably, but for sure if Riley Leonard ends up playing. If that does not happen, you do not want to start any of the wide receivers. You don't want to start the tight end.
And then again, you probably desperately have to start Jonathan Taylor because you don't have any other options. So just something to like keep in mind as we approach this week. Cause it's a weird week for that.
There's not a ton of context there because it really does depend on that singular decision and what happens as we get closer to kickoff. The other option here to look at is Seattle Seahawks. So the first thing I'm gonna say is play their motherfucking defense.
Even if Riley Leonard plays, play their motherfucking defense. Their defense has been playing out of their minds. And this is another great matchup for them.
So when we're in the playoffs, everything matters, defense included. So that's a great matchup for you. JSN is a no brainer.
I think Sam Darnold's is a desperate streaming quarterback option. He's not someone I'm excited about, but he's there if you needed him. I might play him ahead of like Bonix or Jordan Love.
So just some contextual options. Outside of that, I don't really want any of the other wide receivers. I think Shahid is a conversation, but the only reason he was very fantasy relevant, I think sometimes we can see fantasy points and think I need that player.
He scored a punt return. So like that's really only reason Shahid was relevant. However, he is getting immersed in the offense.
They are utilizing him more. It might be an option if you need a little depth at wide receiver and you want to stash someone on your bench, that could be an option. Cooper Cup is a full ass set for me.
Cooper Cup would be a full set for me, not even someone that you should be rostered at this point. Running backs, this is just a hard matchup again. We're coming off of a really underproduced running back room for both Walker and Sharps in week 14.
And you just don't feel good about it again here. And the context is hard. So we'll talk Walker first.
I would consider starting Walker over Breece Hall if Tyra Taylor and Justin Fields don't play. If either of them don't play and you're dealing with cooks as a wide receiver, then I would think about playing Walker ahead of Breece Hall. I would sit Walker and play Swift, Dowdle, Gente, Harvey, Henderson, Javante Williams, Devin Neal.
If he's alone in the backfield, even if he's not alone in the backfield, I'd play Neal ahead of Walker this week, Gente ahead of Walker this week. So the question I had was like, Kenneth Walker versus Kyron Williams, which Kyron Williams has a particularly difficult matchup against the Detroit Lions who is a pass funnel defense, meaning they stop the run and they let up points to the pass, right? So Kyron's gonna have a difficult time, but I don't feel good about Walker.
I probably would lean, no, I'm still gonna lean Kyron over Kenneth Walker, but it's just, that's a particularly difficult matchup, that's for sure. And Sharves to me, I'd probably sit him fully down and I'd even go like Rodriguez Singletary all ahead of Charbonnet, just again, he only has that touchdown upside. AJ Varner is a full set for me.
You have far better tight end options out there. We've talked about a ton, so that's not an option you need to worry about. And the defense, I already said it, but like I'm gonna say it again, you start the Seattle Seahawks defense.
It is a beautiful matchup. All right, so that is all we have for week 15. Like we said, this is play win or win or get out, right?
You're either winning or you're done for the season and we don't want that for you. So if you have any sit-start questions, we will do a ton of sit-start content on social media this week, but if you want specific roster sit-start questions, this is the best time to join the Patreon if you're making a playoff push, you're making a championship push, you can join. It's just Patreon backslash Let's Talk Football Sis.
It is also linked in the show notes, so you can go ahead and join that and get in on it as we approach the end of the playoffs. All right, let's get to our final segment of the show. Let's talk sweet and spicy starts of the week and kick us off with your sweet start of the week.
[Angela Sims] (1:05:23 - 1:05:40)
My sweet start of the week is Harold Fannin Jr. So it seems like he and Chider are connecting well. Hopefully that continues. The Bears this season are also allowing the 12th most passing yards per game to the tight end position.
So he should be able to fire it up and get it done for the Browns this week.
[Amanda Black] (1:05:40 - 1:06:04)
All right, my sweet start of the week is Aaron Jones and Jordan Mason. I think both of them are great starts. Typically this would be like an easy Justin Jefferson, but like, unfortunately, the running backs feel a little sweeter than Justin Jefferson himself.
They're playing a weak Dallas defense. The entire Minnesota Viking team is one you can pretty much fire up this week because of the defensive matchup, but Aaron Jones and Jordan Mason are at the top of my list. All right, how about your spicy start of the week?
[Angela Sims] (1:06:04 - 1:06:07)
My spicy start is Ricky Pearsall.
[Amanda Black] (1:06:07 - 1:06:12)
He's been pretty shoddy. Because he was literally shot in the chest.
[Angela Sims] (1:06:12 - 1:06:33)
Yeah, I didn't know if that was too sweet or not, but I did it anyways. Since his return from injury, he hasn't been doing great. He plays the Titans this week.
They've allowed the sixth most fantasy football points to wide receivers. He's also coming off of that bye, should give him a spicy start into a breakout from injury. Start him up, Ricky Pearsall, spicy start.
[Amanda Black] (1:06:33 - 1:07:02)
I love it. My spicy start for the week for week 15 is Shadeur Sanders himself. For some reason, I am like a Shadeur Sanders stan at this point.
I don't know what happened to me, but you know what? Keep going, buddy. I hate when people like, listen, I know he has that weird dorky, it's giving money man's L, like he does this weird like show off his watch thing.
Okay, and then the entire other team did it when they scored a pick picks or like interception off of him. And I was like, don't make fun of him.
[Angela Sims] (1:07:02 - 1:07:10)
Like, I think it's probably because he's so cocky, but he also grinds it out to prove people wrong. I think that's why we like him.
[Amanda Black] (1:07:10 - 1:07:46)
I was like, listen, I don't mind cocky energy. Like go be full of yourself. Like go do that, I don't care.
And then people just like shit on him. But nonetheless, he's had great production since he's entered as the quarterback. He's basically made so many of those players fantasy football relevant because of his high level of production, which we love.
And I think he's someone you could fire up and take a risk on if you're dealing with really, really shitty quarterback matchups. If you're in a two quarterback league, I think he could potentially have a lot of upside with a shitty Chicago defense. So I like him this week.
He's someone that I would take a shot on. Again, only if you're desperate, of course, but he's my spicy star of the week.
[Angela Sims] (1:07:47 - 1:07:52)
Man, for two people who are not Browns fans, we talk a lot about Browns players.
[Amanda Black] (1:07:52 - 1:08:14)
I know we do. It's unfortunate, isn't it? Nonetheless, that is all we have for week 15, my friends.
As we always say, make sure you're checking injury reports as we get closer to actual football kickoff. If you guys have any questions, we are open books. That's what we're here to help you with.
We cannot wait to talk to you after you win week one of your playoff. We'll talk to you guys in week six. See you later.
Week 16. See ya.
[Angela Sims] (1:08:14 - 1:17:56)
Oh, six. Not six. Not six.
Bye. Six, seven? Oh, Jesus Christ.
Like, real.
[Amanda Black] (1:17:56 - 1:17:58)
Okay, I'm gonna have you start that whole thing over.
[Angela Sims] (1:18:00 - 1:18:48)
You little shot. Get out. Get out of the room.
Get out of the room. Open that door. No, I'm not okay.
What just happened? First off, he pulled my headphones off my head. I saw that.
And then, this fell. I was like, okay, I'm just gonna restart.
[Amanda Black] (1:18:49 - 1:18:55)
Yeah, because you don't need the commentary of the fact that you snuck the notes up. I was like, shh, stop it. Okay, okay, bye.
