Rick: Welcome to Dutch Dialogues by Dutch Fluency! I'm Rick, and today Sophie, Daan and I are sitting in a cozy café talking about someone pretty interesting. His name is Tio, and he has a very unique fashion choice. Let's find out what makes him Mr. Leather!
Rick: Hé, ik lees net iets geks.
Sophie: Oh ja? Wat dan?
Rick: Een man uit Den Bosch. Hij heet Tio.
Daan: Oké, en?
Rick: Hij draagt altijd leer.
Sophie: Leer? Bedoel je een leren jas?
Rick: Nee, alles! Broek, stropdas, schoenen.
Daan: Alles van leer?
Rick: Ja, echt alles!
Sophie: Waarom doet hij dat?
Rick: Hij houdt van leer. Veel.
Daan: *lacht* Dat is gek!
Rick: Wacht, het is nog gekker.
Sophie: Vertel!
Rick: Hij is nu Mr. Leather.
Daan: Mr. Leather? Wat is dat?
Rick: Een prijs. Voor Nederland.
Sophie: Er is een prijs voor leer?
Rick: Ja! Echt waar!
Daan: Typisch Nederland. *lacht*
Rick: Hij zegt: het is gaaf!
Sophie: Hmm, interessant.
Daan: Ik vind het raar.
Rick: Hij is vijftig jaar oud.
Sophie: Oké, en hij draagt altijd leer?
Rick: Ja, elke dag.
Daan: Ook in de zomer?
Rick: Denk het wel!
Sophie: Dat is warm!
Rick: *lacht* Ja, erg warm!
Daan: Ik draag geen leer.
Sophie: Ik wel. Soms een jas.
Rick: Maar niet elke dag?
Sophie: Nee, niet elke dag!
Daan: Is het duur, leer?
Rick: Ja, best duur.
Sophie: Hij heeft veel geld dan.
Rick: Of veel leren kleren!
Daan: *lacht* Ja, precies!
Sophie: Wat zegt hij nog?
Rick: Ze zijn niet eng.
Daan: Wie zijn niet eng?
Rick: Leer-mensen. Leather-mensen.
Sophie: Oh, oké.
Daan: Hmm, snap ik.
Rick: Hij is trots.
Sophie: Dat is mooi.
Daan: Ja, toch wel.
Rick: Ieder zijn ding, toch?
Sophie: Ja, dat klopt.
Daan: Maar het is wel gek!
Rick: *lacht* Ja, heel gek!
Sophie: Draag jij leer, Rick?
Rick: Nee, alleen schoenen.
Daan: Ik ook alleen schoenen.
Sophie: Ik heb een leren tas.
Rick: Zie je? Iedereen draagt leer!
Daan: Ja, maar niet alles!
Sophie: Nee, niet zoals Tio!
Rick: Hij is de koning van leer!
Daan: Mr. Leather! *lacht*
Sophie: Is het een groot feest?
Rick: Denk het wel.
Daan: Met veel leer?
Rick: Ja, heel veel leer!
Sophie: *lacht* Grappig!
Rick: Ik vind het ook grappig.
Daan: Maar hij is gelukkig.
Sophie: Ja, dat is belangrijk.
Rick: Hij doet wat hij leuk vindt.
