Russia has presented a list of
demands to the US for a deal

to end the war in Ukraine and
reset relations with Washington.

The demands, similar to those presented
in the past, include no NATO membership

for Ukraine, no foreign troops in Ukraine,
and international recognition of Crimea

and four provinces as part of Russia."

"Russia

The US and Ukraine have proposed a
30-day ceasefire, but Putin's foreign

policy advisor stated he sees it
as a chance for Ukraine to regroup.

The Kremlin believes it has the
upper hand in the war and wants

Ukraine to withdraw from occupied
regions, promise not to join NATO, and

protect Russian culture and language.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has
urged his soldiers to secure a quick

victory and has suggested creating
a ""security zone"" on the border."

"Iran

Iran's foreign minister, Abbas
Araghchi, has stated that talks

with the US can only occur if both
countries are on ""equal terms.""

This comes after US President
Donald Trump sent a letter to Iran's

Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei
proposing nuclear talks while also

warning that Iran can be handled
either militarily or through a deal.

Araghchi emphasized that Iran will
not negotiate from a weak position and

requires the US to abandon its ""maximum
pressure"" campaign to consider talks."

"Iran

The US Treasury Department has
issued sanctions against Iran's

oil minister, Mohsen Paknejad, as
part of President Donald Trump's

""maximum pressure"" policy on Tehran.

The sanctions aim to restrict Iran's
ability to disguise its illicit oil

trade, targeting three entities in
China and three shipping vessels.

This move comes after the Trump
administration sent a letter

to Iran's supreme leader urging
negotiations and warning of possible

military action if Iran refused."

"Armenia

Armenia's Foreign Ministry has finalized a
draft peace agreement with Azerbaijan and

is ready to discuss signing a final deal.

The agreement aims to end the
long-running conflict between the

two countries, which has its roots in
the late 1980s when Nagorno-Karabakh

broke away from Azerbaijan."

"China

On Thursday, the Department of Foreign
Affairs (DFA) confirmed the arrest of

three Filipinos in Hainan Province,
China, over allegations of espionage.

Two Filipino students were
awarded scholarships through an

agreement established between the
Chinese province of Hainan and the

Philippine province of Palawan."

"Democratic Republic of Congo

Direct peace talks between the
DRC and M23 rebels are scheduled

to begin in Angola on March 18.

The talks aim to mediate a lasting
ceasefire and de-escalate tensions

between the DRC and neighboring
Rwanda, which is accused of

backing the Tutsi-led rebel group.

The conflict has resulted in at
least 7,000 deaths and 600,000

displaced people since November, with
fears of an all-out regional war."

"Ethiopia

The Tigray region in Ethiopia is on
the brink of another crisis after a

faction of the Tigray People's Liberation
Front (TPLF) seized control of two

major towns, Adigrat and Adi-Gudem.

This move has raised fears of a
return to civil war and has been

described by the interim government
as a ""potential coup attempt."""

"Lebanon

The Lebanese army has received a soldier
who was detained by Israel, marking the

fifth and final soldier to be released in
a ""gesture to the Lebanese president.""

The soldier was transferred to
Lebanon by the Red Cross and

taken to a hospital for treatment.

This release comes amid ongoing
talks between Lebanon and Israel."

"Myanmar

The Arakan Army (AA) has reportedly seized
assets worth $6 million from Kyauk Taung,

a prominent businessperson in Taungup
in Rakhine State, on allegations of

collaborating with the military regime.

Kyauk Taung owns properties
and businesses in Arakan.

The AA now controls 14 towns in
the state, including Taungup."

"South Sudan

South Sudanese authorities have arrested
at least 22 opposition leaders and

military personnel in connection with
violent clashes between government

forces and armed groups in Upper Nile.

The arrests, which began on March
4, have sparked concerns about

enforced disappearances and the
disregard for due process rights.

The individuals detained since March 4 are
affiliated with First Vice President Riek

Machar, the leader of the Sudan People's
Liberation Army in Opposition (SPLA-IO).

The arrests occurred amidst a political
crisis in Nasir, Upper Nile, where clashes

between government forces and armed
youth militia, known as the White Army,

have displaced thousands of civilians."

"Syria

Syrian interim President Ahmed al-Sharaa
has issued a decree to establish a

national security council, which will
be responsible for making decisions

on national security and addressing
challenges facing the country."

"Syria

Syria's interim president, Ahmad
Al-Sharaa, has signed a temporary

constitution that will govern
the country for five years.

The constitution maintains some provisions
from the previous one, including the

stipulation that the head of state
must be a Muslim, but also includes

freedoms of expression and the press.

A new committee will be formed to
draft a permanent constitution,

but its inclusivity is uncertain.

The temporary constitution
aims to provide a timeline for

Syria's political transition"

"Taiwan

Taiwan's President Lai Ching-te warned
on Thursday that China has intensified

its influence campaigns and infiltration
efforts against Taiwan, aiming to

""absorb"" the democratic island.

Lai said Beijing is using Taiwan's
democracy to infiltrate various sectors

of society, including organized crime
groups, media personalities, and current

and former military and police officers.

President Lai proposed 17 legal
and economic countermeasures

in response to these threats,
including stricter reviews of"

"India

A joint operation by paramilitary
forces and Manipur police in the

Churachandpur and Kakching districts
resulted in the seizure of a large

cache of firearms and explosives.

The security personnel recovered 3
Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs),

11 high explosive hand grenades,
various firearms, and ammunition,

including live rounds and empty cases.

The operation averted potential terror
incidents by destroying the IEDs

at strategic locations in Manipur,
and the retrieved items have been

handed over to the concerned police
station for further investigation."

"Afghanistan

On Wednesday, a clash occurred
between Taliban forces and

unidentified gunmen on the
Kunduz-Khanabad highway in Afghanistan.

The fighting took place at a Taliban
base in the Khwaja Pesta area,

resulting in several casualties, but
the exact number remains unknown.

No group claimed
responsibility for the attack."

"Colombia

A grenade attack by a local gang in
Colombia's capital, Bogota, killed

three people and wounded nine others.

The attack is believed to be a
response to a conflict between two

local gangs fighting over turf, with
the police intensifying pressure

on the gangs and their leaders.

The incident is the second grenade attack
in the same neighborhood in three weeks."

"Democratic Republic of Congo

On Saturday, March 8, Allied Democratic
Forces (ADF) rebels attacked the village

of Ngite in the Democratic Republic of
Congo, killing four people and leaving

the community in mourning and fear.

The attack involved machete killings
and the setting of three houses on fire.

The terrorists also
abducted several people."

"India

Security forces in Bandipora
district, Jammu and Kashmir, have

arrested two terror associates.

The arrest was made during a search
operation based on specific intelligence

input, resulting in the recovery of a
pistol, hand grenades, and ammunition."

"Nigeria

On Sunday, Islamic State West African
Province (ISWAP) terrorists attacked

a military base in the remote village
of Warja, Damboa Local Government

Area (LGA) of Borno State, killing
at least four soldiers and wounding

an unspecified number of others.

During the attack, the rebels
set the base on fire and looted

and carried away ammunition."

"Nigeria

On Wednesday, operatives of the Katsina
State Police Command repelled a kidnap

attempt and rescued 30 kidnapped victims
in Faskari Local Government Area.

The police also recovered 92
rustled sheep and goats, along

with two cows, after engaging the
suspected kidnappers in a gun duel.

The investigation is ongoing,
and efforts are being made to

arrest the fleeing suspects."

"Nigeria

On Tuesday, Nigerian forces arrested
a 21-year-old gunrunner, Sengi

David, and recovered arms along the
Bokkos-Bot Mangu road in the Bokkos

Local Government Area of Plateau State.

Troops recovered one AK-47
magazine with civil police

markings and 48 rounds of 7.62mm

special ammunition."

"Nigeria

On Tuesday, Nigerian forces operating
under Sector 4 of Operation Fasan Yamma

neutralized three Violent Extremists
and Insurgents (VEIs) in an ambush near

Ngwagi Hill, in the Gwagwada Community
off the Kaduna-Abuja highway, in Chikun

Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

Troops recovered a cache of arms
and ammunition, including two

AK-47 rifles, eight AK-47 rifle
magazines, 374 rounds of 7.62mm

by 39 special ammunition,
and 88 rounds of 7.62mm

by 54 NATO ammunition."

"Nigeria

On Wednesday, Boko Haram terrorists
ambushed Governor Babagana

Zulum’s convoy along the Buni
Gari-Buni Yadi road in Borno State.

The attack occurred as the convoy,
including troops from Operation

Hadin Kai and high-ranking
government officials, returned

from the Biu Local Government Area.

Despite the ambush, the governor
was not present in the convoy

as he had flown by helicopter.

During the ensuing clash, an
unverified number of militants

were killed, and seven kidnapped
travelers were successfully rescued.

Troops also managed to seize weapons
and motorcycles following the

repulsion of the militants’ assault."

"Pakistan

On Thursday, Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan
(TTP) terrorists launched a massive

suicide and gun attack on the Jandola
military base in the Tank District.

Pakistani forces reportedly repelled the
attack, killing at least nine terrorists.

Initial reports indicated that
dozens of Pakistani soldiers

were killed in the attack."

"Philippines

Government forces killed two high-ranking
officials of the New People's Army

(NPA) during a clash at least 20
rebels in Sito Kalubog, Barangay Iba,

Cabanglasan, Bukidnon, on Monday.

Troops recovered four assault rifles,
improvised explosive devices, and

seven mobile phones scattered at the
scene of the deadly Army-NPA clash."

"Syria

A member of the Internal Security
Forces was killed, and two others were

injured in an attack by ISIS cells on a
patrol in the Al-Hazima area, Al-Raqqa."

"Syria

The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) have
arrested an ISIS leader, identified as

Salah Abdullah al-Abd or Abu Azawi, in the
al-Hol Camp, southeast of Hasakah city.

The arrested individual, an Iraqi
national, was an active member of the ISIS

terrorist organization and was involved in
financial transfers to the group in Iraq.

The SDF has stated that they will continue
to dismantle ISIS cells and disrupt

their financial sources to maintain
regional security and stability."

"Syria

In Deir Ezzor City, a landmine explosion
in the Al-Bushra Desert resulted in

the deaths of two civilians and a
child from the Al-Boazzam Tribe."

"Ukraine

The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU)
thwarted a planned terrorist attack

in Mykolaiv by arresting a 33-year-old
Russian agent, a woman from the

Dnipropetrovsk region, who the FSB
recruited via a Telegram channel.

The agent intended to detonate two
homemade explosive devices, one under

a parked car and another disguised in
a tree, to kill or injure people and

provoke panic in the regional center.

The suspect faces up to 10 years in
prison and confiscation of property."

"West Bank

Israeli police have arrested a
21-year-old man from the Arab town

of Taybeh, identified as Kamel
Nashef, on suspicion of supporting

the Islamic State group (ISIS).

Nashef allegedly swore allegiance to
ISIS, tipped off operatives in the

West Bank, and possessed materials
and flags linked to the group.

He is set to be indicted today."

"Gaza Strip

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF)
conducted a drone strike in the

central Gaza Strip after spotting a
group of terror operatives attempting

to plant a bomb in the ground.

The operation aimed to prevent
a potential security threat."

"Iraq

Turkish artillery has been shelling
PKK positions in the Duhok region of

Kurdistan, resulting in the burning
of farmland and ongoing forest fires.

The shelling has created a
tense security situation, making

it difficult for firefighting
teams to extinguish the fires."

"Lebanon

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF)
have conducted an airstrike against

a Hezbollah facility in Lebanon's
Beqaa Valley, targeting a strategic

weapons manufacturing and storage site.

The IDF states that this action
is part of its efforts to

remove any threats to Israel."

"Myanmar

On Tuesday, junta forces conducted
airstrikes and rocket attacks on the

villages of Kuin Taung and Ponnagyun.

The attack destroyed numerous homes,
but no casualties were reported.

Ponnagyun is currently under
the control of the Arakan Army."

"Myanmar

A bombing raid by the Myanmar
junta killed a 10-year-old girl

and four other civilians in
Mandalay Region's Madaya Township.

The incident occurred in the villages
of Wa Thon Da Ra and Mya Kan Thar,

on the line between Madaya and
Patheingyi townships, where the

airstrikes hit a family's home."

"Myanmar

On Sunday, March 9, 2025, the Myanmar
junta arrested 20 Rakhine internally

displaced persons (IDPs) in Mayancho and
Hpayargyi villages in Thabaung Township,

Ayeyarwady Region, accusing them of being
informants for the Arakan Army (AA).

The arrests involved 16 men and four
women, who were initially displaced

from Gwa and Thandwe townships
in Rakhine State due to fighting.

The individuals are now being held at
the Yegyi Township Police Station."

"Myanmar

Since last Friday, March 7, the Myanmar
junta launched an assault in Magway

Region’s Salin Township, leading to the
displacement of at least 17,000 civilians.

The assault took place as the regime
attempted to seize control of a

strategic route connecting Salin and
Seikphyu townships in the Magway Region.

The regime has blocked the road, planted
landmines, and launched drone attacks

on insurgent positions in the area."

"Nigeria

On Wednesday, the National Intelligence
and Security Agency (NISA) conducted an

airstrike in Jambaluul, Lower Shabelle,
killing two senior Al-Shabaab leaders:

Farhan Osman Hassan and Ahmed Gumaar.

The operation targeted the group's
explosive and financial operations

in Banadir and Lower Shebelle."

"Russia

Russian Defense Ministry announced
that its troops have taken over

Sudzha, the largest town in the western
Kursk region, which was overrun by

Ukrainian forces in August 2024.

Russian President Vladimir Putin
visited military headquarters in the

region, speaking to commanders as
troops are nearing the end of their

operation to drive out Ukrainian
forces from the Kursk region."

"Somalia

Puntland security forces have
killed a senior Islamic State (ISIS)

commander responsible for directing
drone attacks using explosive-laden

unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

The operation, which took place in the
Al Miskaad mountains, comes after the

recovery of a fixed-wing drone suspected
to have been used by ISIS militants."

"Sudan

According to Sudanese forces,
Rapid Support Forces (RSF)

indiscriminately fired on several
areas of El-Fasher, killing five

children and wounding four women.

Furthermore, Sudanese forces said they
launched a sweep operation in the city

and seized two RSF combat vehicles."

"Sudan

On Wednesday, Rapid Support Forces (RSF)
shelled shelters in El-Fasher, killing

10 civilians and injuring 23 others."

"Syria

Israeli aircraft reportedly carried
out a strike in the Syrian capital of

Damascus, according to local reports.

However, there is no immediate
comment from the Israeli Defense

Forces (IDF) regarding the incident."

"Syria

The Syrian Democratic Forces
(SDF) shot down three Turkish

drones attempting to attack SDF
positions in the Aleppo countryside.

Additionally, Turkish forces have
launched heavy artillery fire on

Kharous village and the surrounding
areas of Qarrah Quzaq bridge, causing

material damage and civilian panic."

"Syria

Turkish fighter jets conducted
airstrikes on multiple locations,

including Sarin City and Al-Qask
Mountains, with no reported casualties.

In retaliation, SDF drones attacked
Turkish forces' bases near Qorah Qozak,

"Taiwan

Taiwan tracked 20 Chinese
military aircraft, seven naval

vessels, and one official ship
around its country between 6 a.m.

northern and southwestern Air

A 60-year-old man was injured
in a drone attack by Russian

troops in Kherson, Ukraine.

The victim suffered shrapnel wounds to
his back and lower extremities while

in a car and is currently under medical
supervision, according to a report by

Roman Mrochko, head of the Kherson CMA."

"Ukraine

Russian drones attacked railroad
power facilities in the Dnipro region,

causing delays in train movements.

Train No.

86 Lviv-Zaporizhzhia departed
with a delay, while Train No.

72 Lviv-Pavlohrad will
follow a changed route.

Reserve diesel locomotives are preparing
to pick up trains if necessary."

On March 12, Russian attacks
in the Kherson region resulted

in one death and six injuries.

The attacks targeted multiple
settlements with artillery fire and

airstrikes, damaging two apartment
buildings, 20 private houses, a gas

pipeline, and several private vehicles."

"Ukraine

Ukrainian forces claimed to have
killed or wounded 1,200 Russian

soldiers over the past day.

Over 160 pieces of military equipment
were destroyed in the fighting."

"Ukraine

Russian forces attacked Beryslav in the
Kherson region with a drone on March

13, 2025, killing a 68-year-old civilian
and injuring an 85-year-old civilian.

The attack also damaged civilian
homes and sparked fires in the

Dniprovskyi district of Kherson."

"Ukraine

Russian shelling in the Dnipro
region has resulted in significant

damage to high-rise buildings,
infrastructure, and private property.

According to reports, a 52-year-old woman
and a 64-year-old woman were injured

due to shrapnel wounds from the attacks.

The Russians used a combination of
drones, kamikaze drones, and heavy

artillery to attack multiple districts
in the region, including Dnipro, Nikopol,

and Sinelnyk, causing fires, damaged
buildings, and destroyed vehicles.

Fortunately, air defense forces
were able to destroy 11 Russian

UAVs in the Dnipro region.

"Ukraine

Ukraine's air defense forces
shot down 74 Russian drones and

38 decoy UAVs on March 13, 2025.

Russian attacks caused damage
in several regions, including

Sumy, Kharkiv, and Kyiv."

"Ukraine

The city of Zaporizhzhia was attacked by
Russian Shahed drones, causing damage to

a house and an administrative building
of a critical infrastructure facility.

Fortunately, no people
were injured in the attack.

Emergency services are currently
working at the sites of the strikes."

"Argentina

A peaceful protest by Argentine retirees
and soccer fans against the government's

economic policies turned violent
on Wednesday, with police deploying

water cannons, tear gas, and pellets
against stone-throwing protesters.

The protest, which started as a demand
for higher pensions, involved fans from

several soccer teams, including Boca
Juniors and River Plate, and resulted

in unprecedented clashes with police.

The government has warned that fans
involved in the violence will be barred

from attending their team's games.

Residents of Mogok Township in the
northern Mandalay Region are facing

forced recruitment of men aged 18-45
by the Ta'ang National Liberation

Army (TNLA) in villages home to the
ethnic Palaung (Ta'ang) nationality.

According to reports, one person per
household must join as a recruit or

face action, and homes of those who
evade service have been boarded up.

The TNLA reportedly are
abducting men in the streets.

Mogoke residents protested the
conscriptions of its residents."

"Canada

A train derailment occurred south
of Barriere on Wednesday, March

12, around 5:40 pm local time.

Preliminary reports indicate that
five cars on the mainline derailed.

CN crews and local first responders
are attending to the scene, and

the cause is under investigation."

"Syria

A civilian from the Al-Kharashin Tribe
was killed in a landmine explosion

while driving in their car in the
Kabajeb Desert, located in the Deir

Ezzor countryside, an area under
the control of the new government."

"Syria

An explosion occurred in Haj Hussein
village, controlled by the National Army

in eastern Aleppo, injuring two civilians.

They were taken to the
hospital for treatment."

"United Kingdom

A microlight aircraft crashed at
Westonzoyland Airfield in Bridgwater,

Somerset, injuring two people.

They were taken to hospital with
minor injuries and were reported

to be ""free and clear"" by the
time emergency services arrived.

The Air Accidents Investigation
Branch has started a safety

investigation into the incident."

"United States

A small plane crashed in Mesquite
on Thursday morning, resulting

in the death of one person.

The incident occurred in a wooded
area near the intersection of East

Cartwright Road and Lawson Road.

Thankfully, there were no reports of
damage to nearby residences or structures.

The Mesquite Fire Department confirmed
that only one person was on board

the plane at the time of the crash."

"United States

A small plane made an emergency
landing in a field near Coconut

Palm Elementary School in Florida.

Fortunately, no injuries
have been reported."

"United States

A small plane made an emergency
landing in a field near Girsch

Road and E Washburn Road in Black
Hawk County on Wednesday afternoon.

The pilot reported running out of
fuel but was later able to take off

after receiving additional fuel.

No injuries or damage were reported."

"United States

A Cessna single-engine aircraft owned by
GPI Geospatial made an emergency landing

in Orange County on Wednesday afternoon.

The pilot and sensor operator
on board were not injured.

The plane, which was collecting
data, experienced a fuel spill,

prompting a notification to the
Environmental Protection Department."
