Good morning and
welcome to your morning Syria.
Okay, good morning and
welcome to the first hump day,
Wednesday of 2026.
The year is already a week old.
And if you're tiring already, perfect.
Today is I'm not going
to take it any more day.
It's a midweek permission slip
to just take those next
positive steps in your life.
Okay, yesterday's trivia answer, Venus.
It's the hottest
planet in our solar system.
Turns out pressure really
does turn the heat up on things.
Well, now the essential
vitamins in your morning cereal.
Today's quote, and
it's from F1 birthday boy,
Lewis Hamilton, he's turning 40 today.
He said, quote, "Don't be afraid to fail.
"Be afraid not to try."
End quote.
Now that is locked
into the same idea of life
that's on my t-shirt.
We have one life.
We need to take the steps.
We need to take the chances.
Be brave and live
this life to its fullest.
I wish you good luck.
All right, well,
you've heard enough from me.
Let's pour in the Let
Them Theory by Mel Robbins.
In today's book review and today's truth
is why change is so hard.
This is truth number
three, if you're keeping track.
Every single person thinks
that they are the exception.
Robbins says this one hits
hard because it's universal.
Quote, "Everyone believes
the rules don't apply to them
"until they do."
End quote.
We think we'll magically change tomorrow.
That consequences won't catch us
or that somehow we'll be different
without doing anything different.
Now, this belief keeps people stuck
longer than they need to be.
It delays action.
It softens urgency.
And it feeds denial.
The Let Them approach
here is a radical honesty.
Letting people
experience their own outcomes
without rescuing them
and letting yourself face
reality without excuses.
Robbins writes, quote,
"The moment you stop
believing you're the exception
"is the moment real
change becomes possible."
End quote.
It's not the shame, it's clarity.
Once you accept that
change requires effort from you,
not circumstances, power returns.
Okay, here is your hump day takeaway.
You're not the exception.
And that's actually great news.
So today, draw a line, claim your energy
and take one honest step forward.
Lastly, the prize from the
bottom of the cereal box.
Today's morning cereal
trivia question is this.
How many zeros are in a trillion?
That might be a tough one,
but we will see you back
here tomorrow for that answer
and more sugar for your soul.
