That's good. I finished my first panel of a six paneled lampshade. This is stained glass. It's a custom job. It's a commission job for a lampshade. And, it's six panels. All of this shape. It'll be for a floor lamp. For those of you that have followed, you probably know it's for the snake lamp. This is the hand and the apple.

I had to, like, tap on the stem there. Without the stem, it looks like a dumb tomato. The apple stem is really important. And I had fun doing different shades of green. Obviously, this will be much different once it's next to a light bulb. And you see the the the glory of the glass come through. I'm so glad that I did this first panel. And here's my update. I have six panels that each have approximately 30 pieces of glass each. All of the glass is cut, so all of the raw cuts are done, which is so great. And I'm very meticulously, carefully doing one panel at a time because unlike my typical projects where the end result size doesn't quite matter if it's a little out, a little out of the lines, or this matters a lot.

So every piece has to exactly fit together to fit on this lamp. And the only place I'm allowed to go outside the lines is the top. So that she took advantage.

Naturally, the top of my panels, every single one has leaves going off or it's Eve with the apple. We might mention that, but her hair, her her hair goes off the top of the lamp. And I'm so happy that I have some place to have a little freedom. And the colors. It's been really nice. The customer said that she trusts my artistic eye, and she requested blond hair, but other than that, the colors were my choice.

She wanted a Caucasian with blond hair, Eve holding an apple. And so I got to come up with the different, greens for the leaves. I'm using multiple shades and gray background. I really wanted something plain, but it couldn't be tan. I didn't want it to compete with the skin or the hair. But still allow some light through.

It's interesting with lamps and I've made mistakes before. When I've done lamps, if the if the glass is too transparent, if you use a pale color or cathedral glass or clear. Unfortunately it's for me, it's blinding. The light bulb shows through. So I really was careful to make sure it's translucent or opaque, so there's some light filtering through, but not glaring.

But this process has inspired me. I have one I, I've already made three other lamp for if you count the Eiffel Tower for other lamps and stained glass of some kind, something with a light bulb made for a lamp. And I want to do some more. I have some ideas of lamp shades and things, even like we have a dark corner house.

That's also something functional, like a clock or lamp. I like the idea of that with stained glass. It's kind of different for me to make something that can be useful rather than just for something beautiful.

I love it, I love it, I love it. So I've had an opportunity because of we've had some stretches without rain. I've had an opportunity to hang, my hammock outside in the backyard between these two trees. It's pretty much in the woods. I mean, we are surrounded by forests and we're very lucky. I love how quiet and beautiful the forest is, but these two trees are a perfect spot for a hammock.

So even though that might be several trees and if you look at one tree, you would think, oh, all the leaves are the same color.
