The Good Pod

The Good Wife Season 6 Episode 6, "Old Spice," is an Elsbeth Tascioni showcase — and one of the weirdest, sweetest romances the show has ever attempted. Elsbeth and Alicia Florrick take on a federal case defending Camilla's software company against ASA Josh Perotti, who keeps escalating the charges from plagiarism to economic espionage while he and Elsbeth flirt across a courtroom via grate-jumping, pinky-grazing, and mutual sniffing. Meanwhile, it's religion week on the campaign: Alicia preps for an interview with Pastor Jeremiah, Grace gets pulled into it, and Marissa Gold arrives as Alicia's new body woman. Over at Florrick Agos, eviction notices and OSHA violations fly, and Cary Agos has a very bad night out that costs him.

00:00 – Sidewalk cracks, Milwaukee, and Elsbeth's acrobatic grate avoidance
00:04 – The case: JServ, plagiarized encryption software, and Josh Perotti's federal charges
00:15 – Courtroom flirting escalates: the pinky graze, the Old Spice, the Call Me Maybe of it all
00:34 – Religion week on the campaign, plus Marissa Gold joins as Alicia's body woman
00:45 – Eviction notices, OSHA violations, and Cary's night at the Ivy League mixer
01:04 – New bail restrictions and the office move nobody invited Cary to

Jason: Welcome to The Good Pod,
where today we're talking The Good

Wife, Season 6, Episode 6, Old Spice.

I am one of your hosts, Jason Reed.

With me as always, my
co-host, Marissa Garza.

Marissa, you good?

Marissa: I'm good, Jason.

You good?

Jason: Good.

I'm good.

Um, Marissa, this, this, this episode
really reminded me, uh, had me

Marissa: tell me.

Yeah

Jason: what I, you know what
I noticed that I didn't really

think about till this episode?"

I said, "Marissa, we, you know,
you, we talked about last episode,

you and I met up in Milwaukee.

Took a little walk down to
the quote unquote Great Lake.

Uh, you know, a lot, a lot of water,

Marissa: No.

Mm-hmm,

Jason: But on the way I did, I did low-key
notice that you were like tiptoeing

across things on the sidewalk, and
I, I'm pretty sure you were trying to

avoid all the cracks in the sidewalk."

The, the whole Ellsworth Great thing
really kind of reminded me of like, oh

yeah, Marissa was moving kind of weird,
uh, when we were walking at that, that day

Marissa: you know what they say,
Jason, step on a crack, you're

gonna break your mother's back.

And I just, I can't.

I can't.

I cannot afford-- Because you know
what happens if I break my mom's back?

I would be the one who would have to
care for my mom . And so therefore,

Jason: Can you

Marissa: it would just
be more work for me.

I mean, it would be horrible for my mom,
but it would also be more work for me.

So therefore,

Jason: just doesn't like their
mother, just like jumps on

every crack they can find?

"Take that. Take that. Take that."

Marissa: Not saying that I
didn't do that when I was

Jason: Oh my, oh, oh my,

Marissa: Sometimes.

Sometimes

Jason: Oh my gosh.

"Ground

Marissa: But now

Jason: Take away, take
away my French horn.

Ugh, ugh, ugh, take that."

Marissa: Yeah.

Good.

Yeah, exactly.

Exactly.

But yeah, Elspeth was, uh, quite
the-- She was using her dexterity

and her agility to her finest in this

Jason: Oh my gosh, the way she
jumped over that grate in heels,

I was like, "Oh, that's, that's
acrobatic almost right there."

Marissa: Ja

Jason: Um, so yes, here we are, episode
six of season six, "Old Spice." This

really was an Elsbeth joint, right?

I don't, I, I can't re- I can't
remember the last time we focused so

heavily on a character that was not
one of our, like, main key characters.

Like, she had solo scenes
of just, of just her.

Marissa: And I wonder, like, if it
was a testing ground for a spinoff

Jason: Yeah, like a backdoor

Marissa: that because yeah, there
was, there … It was definitely,

like you said, concentrated on her,
and also not as weird as the last

episode where it was making her look
like she didn't know who she was and

was just somebody totally different.

This was, I think this
was, like, true Elsbeth.

Like, you could take this Elsbeth
and you could draw a line to

current Elsbeth quite easily

Jason: Yeah, I mean, it was still
pretty weird, but it was definitely…

Marissa: course it tells
about that it's gonna be

Jason: We didn't take any more-- Yeah, we
didn't take any more trips into Elspeth's

mind like, like we did last episode.

Marissa: Yeah.

Jason: Uh, before we dive too
deep into the episode, we want to

remind you of some free and easy
ways you can help this podcast out.

You can do that by reviewing,
rating, and subscribing.

it up with us about any and

everything, you can always do that
at thegoodpodfeedback@gmail.com.

Leave us an email, we'll get back to
you, or we'll talk about it on the

show if it's something that, you know,
we don't need to conversate about.

We can just, we can just let it out
on the pod- on the podcast here.

Uh, and uh, if you wanna help us
like directly monetarily because,

uh, as we always say, this
podcast does not run for free.

You can do that by going to
buymeacoffee.com/goodpod to help us

out with any amount of money that,
uh, that you wish to grant upon us.

We would greatly, greatly,
greatly appreciate it.

Uh, with that out of the way, Marissa,
uh, what you got for us today?

Marissa: Well, we got a lot
going on in this episode, Jason.

We got a case, we got a move, an
office move, we've got another

arrest, and of course, the Lord.

So therefore, let's get right into it.

Uh, the previously on, which we rarely
get, but we did get one, l- sets us up

to remind us that we are going to be
working on the federal case for Camilla's

company, which she was a client in
the last episode, but we never really

got to learn what her company was.

A software company.

That's what's happening.

Uh, so Elsbeth is at the FBI at
the start of this episode, and

she calls, she calls Alicia.

She's like, "Alicia, where are
you?" She's like, "Tomorrow.

I'm supposed to be there tomorrow."
And here I was like, "Oh, no.

Don't make her flighty
again." You know what I mean?

Like, don't, don't do this.

Um, but Elsbeth is like, "Oh my gosh,
I can't believe, I can't believe that

this happened." And she bursts into an
meeting that Josh Perotti is having.

Like, he's got PowerPoint slides, he's
got things going on, and she's just

like, "If you wanna have lunch with me,
don't pretend it's not about business.

I can't believe you did this to me.

I'm a woman.

I have things to do." And then she's also
like, "And I don't like that tie." And

he's like, "I'll change it." Well, yeah.

Yes.

Sure.

Yeah.

And it turns out Josh's assistant did
call Elsbeth's assistant to cancel,

but Elsbeth never got the message.

She thought Josh was just pulling
another Josh, it was Joshner.

Uh, but it was a true miscommunication

Jason: I don't remember if
we ever meet Fantasia, but I

really, I really, really want to.

And it re-

Marissa: we do.

I think in, like, the first time when
she had her office that was falling apart

Jason: No, we hear her reference
Fantasia, but we, I don't

think we ever meet Fantasia.

Like, she's always yelling
for Fantasia, you know?

Like, "Fantasia, can you do
this, this, this?" I don't think

we have ever met Fantasia yet.

Uh, and I would love to meet
Fantasia, and I would love it to

be, like, a super famous person.

I don't, I don't know who I would cast,
but just someone, just a one-time, just a

one-off, someone super-duper famous like,
you know, Vanessa Williams or something,

you know, uh, that, that's Fantasia.

I don't know

Marissa: She rushes right out of
this meeting and Josh is right behind

her, like tailing her like nobody's
business, and he's like, "Oh my God,

can I, I can ask you out to lunch?

Is

Jason: That, that's, that's what Josh
took from that whole rant of like, "If

you wanna ask me to lunch, ask me."
Well, he's like, "Wait, I can do that?

That's something you would be open
to?" Like, that, that's what he heard

Marissa: She's like, "Oh, that's so cool."
And she's like, "Is this case about me?

This is, this is horrible." And he's
like, "No, it's plagiar- like the

software company plagiarized their
software from another company."

And Elsbeth is like, "This is a
company that makes farting apps.

Like, this is really at the
top of your list of things?"

He's like, "No, and also encryption
software, so like… And it was

plagiarized from a defense contractor, so
if the government's involved, super big

deal." And Elsbeth is like, "Well, Josh,
you got another thing coming because it's

me and Alicia Florek, and we're gonna
get you." Like, does all this stuff.

And you can tell while she's doing
all this, she is doing some sort of

parkour-type action, while Josh Perotti
is very amused by this the entire time.

Jason: Yeah, she's like trying to like
s- you know, step away from the greats.

He's like, "What are you doing?

What, what is this?" Like, "Oh, you
don't, you're afraid of the greats."

Marissa: You're afraid of the grates.

And so he then decides to step on the
grate and jump, and he's like, "This

can hold 100,000 pounds," and fakes
a fall right into Elspeth's arms.

Jason: Honestly, these two
are so freaking nerdy and cute

Marissa: So great.

I love them so much.

I- like I said, he
needs to be on the show.

Jason: Yeah, he needs to get on
Elsbeth ASAP because this, this

chemistry is not, not easily findable.

And I feel like what we've been a-
aching and asking for on Elsbeth is

a legit, you know, love connection.

They tried a couple times,
but it never really clicked.

You know, we,

Marissa: They, uh, it, but they're
so weird, but they're so weird

in the same way, and I love them.

Jason: Yeah, and

Marissa: it's not like, like if you
watch Elsbeth, like she has had roman-

romantic pursuits before, but they
never really, like, matched her energy

and her quirkiness as much as Josh,
the character of Josh Broady does.

Because, like, the next thing she's
like, "That was mean. You shouldn't

have done this." And then the next
thing they do is sniff each other.

Jason: God.

That smells

Marissa: And it's like, "What is that?

What do you smell like?" It's
like, "Oh, it's baby lotion.

Oh, I'm wearing Old Spice." Like,
like, he's like, "Oh, I'll tell

you, I'm wearing Old Spice."

Like, so

Jason: You guys are so weird, but
you're so weirdly right for each other

Marissa: Oh man, I love it so much.

And she says to him, "This case
is wrong and you, you need to stop

it." She just can't handle it.

Uh, so they go into court, and of
course, because this is a federal case,

they are in front of federal court.

So who else to be there except for
Anna Gadsden, AKA, in my opinion,

the best federal court judge we have

Jason: The best federal court
judge, the in-my-opinion judge.

I don't even know the name
of the character . She is

just the in-my-opinion judge.

I think to everyone that ever watched
this show, she is the in-my-opinion judge.

Marissa: In my opinion

Jason: my opinion.

And honestly, this is probably like
the, what, fourth or fifth time in

this series that we've gotten in
front of the in-my-opinion judge,

and honestly, it never gets old.

It's still not old, as people need to
be like kind of, uh, you know, uh, hazed

into this, this practice of like, no, it's

Marissa: Like for real, like
we're not joking around.

Uh, but speaking of joking around,
the first witness, Nils Landerstrom,

Jason: Sure

Marissa: I literally typed it from the
closed caption and I still can't say it.

Um, he is making jokes about his
name that no one's laughing at.

He's like, "Spelled like it sounds."

No, falls flat.

Uh, but he is a coder who before working
for, the name of the company that I

really don't know, uh, oh yeah, thank you.

JServe.

Y- of course, you would remember JServe.

Um, before working for JServe, he worked
for this company called QZO Systems.

Um, and Elsbeth is, like, going to
object, and Alicia goes, "You have to

say in my opinion." And she's like,
"Are you hazing me?" She's like, "No.

Jason: Are you, are you messing,
are you messing with me right

Marissa: you have to just, just say it

Jason: Yeah, she's like,
"Please just, just believe me.

It's, it's, in my opinion."

Marissa: And so we have Josh
Perotti questioning the witness.

We have Elsbeth Tascioni in
my opinion-ing, um, objecting.

And then Josh says, "Thanks, Ms.
Tascioni." And Elsbeth response,

responds, "Mrs." Josh is like,
"Oh my God, I did not know that.

I did not know you were married."
And she goes, "You didn't ask."

And he is so, like, taken aback,
he doesn't even remember what

question he asked the witness last

Jason: and she does tell
him that she's divorced

Marissa: Yes.

So this is, this also
answers the question.

We never saw this guy because in Elsbeth
she does talk about her divorce, like, ad

nauseam, and I'm like, "Who is this dude?"

Jason: Well, I'm not sure if we're-- maybe
we will see him in the rest of the show.

We don't know yet.

Not sure.

I don't remember that we do, but
it's not out of the question.

I am also waiting for her to be
like, "And I have a son named Teddy."

Marissa: Yeah, exactly.

We still don't have that

yet

Jason: know, we still don't have
confirmation that she, in, in this

current timeline that she has a son.

But she should.

She definitely should have a son
named Teddy since Teddy is, like,

Marissa: You should be alive, for sure

Jason: in his 20s in the show "Elsbeth."

Marissa: Yeah, he should be like in middle
school, high school, somewhere in there.

Uh, yes.

So turns out that QZO Systems,
which Nils worked for before,

works with the government.

And because Camille's company
sold the software to China,

Jason: Yeah, so

Marissa: this is putting a little bit
of an alarm bell because Elsbeth, or

not Elsbeth, Alicia is like, "Oh, China,
this is, this does not line up with the

charges that we are being brought up
against, 'cause we are being brought

up on a plagiarism charge, and that
doesn't necessarily line up with the

fact that this guy used to work with a
company that sold software to China."

So she thinks that it's kind of
a Trojan horse kind of situation

Jason: gets a little murky because
Nils, you know, he's like, "Yeah, when

I worked for QZO, I, you know, wrote
this line of code, and I used that same

code in this, like, software I, I wrote
to work with JServ that works with this

Chinese company." So it's like, oh, okay.

So basically, through the, through
the law of transverse properties or

however the heck you wanna say, you
kinda sorta were writing code for China.

That's what you're doing?

Like,

Marissa: Well, and because it has to
do with, like, defense things, this,

like, this gets, uh, Alicia's like,
"Okay, this isn't a plagiarism charge.

This is going to be an economic espionage

Jason: Perotti's trying to open
the door to, to a different,

to a, a deeper charge by

Marissa: Well,

Jason: traitorism thing to get in there

Marissa: and also getting witnesses
on the record that he could use

in that case later without having
to be constrained by the charge

Jason: Yeah, but then he's just
like, "Oh, jig's up, I guess.

Uh, so I'm changing the charges."
Like it's like, it's like,

"Oh, you got me, you got me.

At least you saved me some time.

You know, I didn't have to like finish
this case out then bring a new case.

You, you called me out on it,
so why don't we just go ahead

and change the charges now?"

Marissa: Yeah.

He's like, "Yeah, okay. So that's what
I'm doing, and just FYI, you, Camille,

could go to jail for 10 to 15 years."
And they're like, "Oh, crap. This is

federal, federal jail." Uh, so later in
the episode, Prady's going back to court

and he's in the elevator with a baby.

And I gotta tell you, this man is
so creepy but also so endearing.

He is sniffing the baby and saying,
"Is that body or is that baby lotion?"

Jason: You know, when we saw
the baby, I was like, "Ooh, is,

uh, ooh, Patty Nyholm back?"

Marissa: Yeah.

No, no.

Jason: I'm like, "Patty
Nyholm." Nope, not this time.

Marissa: of would love for
Josh Parady to ask Patty No-

Nyholm if it was baby lotion.

I think that would be a funny
interaction, but, uh, alas

Jason: She'd be like, "What is
it to you, you creep?" Like, you

know, tell, tell him what for.

Marissa: Alicia explains to Camille
and to us that Josh needs to prove that

Camille knew that the Chinese company
she sold the software to was going

to give it to the Chinese government.

And Camille's like, "No, I
didn't know anything about this."

And Elsbeth is like, "Perfect.

I will take Cross because I can
distract Parady and Alicia."

Or like, what?

Why?

Why would you do that?

Jason: Yeah,

Marissa: Don't do

Jason: Alicia should know not to do this.

She should kn- she should've known b- from
seeing Elspeth with Piratti last time,

like, "Mm, yes, you might distract him,
but he will also distract you, as I've

literally seen, you know, firsthand."

Marissa: Then comes one of my
favorite scenes in the entire episode.

We have Mr. Fong, who we saw last episode.

Um, he owns a consulting company,
and he was consulting Camille's

company on doing this deal with China.

Basically, he brokered the
sale between the things.

And during questioning, Josh Perotti
decides to lean up against the defense

table, put his palm of his hand on
the table, and Elsbeth takes her hand

and just, like, grazes his pinky,
like, or gets really, really close to

his pinky, and Josh cannot handle it.

He's just like, "Oh my God."
The-- I-- He's so distracted.

Can't handle it.

But while he was on the stand, Fong does
say that Camille did know that the company

was connected to the Chinese government.

Um, Alicia objects for, calls
for speculation in her opinion.

Um, and then as Josh is addressing the
judge, he turns back around, and Elsbeth

is taking the finger that grazed his
hand and, like, rubbing her lips with it.

It was so weird

Jason: So weird.

Now we ha- we had some finger, we had
some, we had some finger scandals earlier

in the series with Alicia and Will.

Marissa: Yes, yes

Jason: which again, just like,
why are y'all recycling these,

Marissa: This one, this,

Jason: But they, you know, they
took something and recycled it,

they took it up a notch, right?

They're like, "And we're
gonna get freaky with it, and

we're gonna get weird with it.

I'm gonna use that finger
and touch my lips."

Marissa: It's so good.

And now it's time for Elsbeth
to cross-examine Mr. Fong.

As she stands up and she's like,
"Uh, what? What, like, uh…"

Like, Elsbeth, like, is starting to
realize how affected she is by Josh.

It's not necessarily, like, a
one-way street anymore because she

cannot recover from the situation.

She freezes.

Alicia's like, "Okay, fine. I'll
take over." And she asks if Mr. Fong

thinks that Camille, Camilla is a
bitch because last week, because

that's what he said on the stand.

Um, and she basically lays out the
fact that he went out of his way

to keep Camille out of this deal.

So there's really no way that she
could've known about the whole

Chinese government of it all

Jason: Yeah.

I, I thought this was pretty genius
to be like, "All right, you ain't like

her, you thought she's a bitch," and
you, you know, you went over her head,

you went around her to like leave her
out of these negotiations and leave

her out of this sale of the software
to the Chinese company that sold, that,

that took it to the Chinese government.

So really, Camilla has no liability here
'cause she didn't, she wasn't made aware

Marissa: Yeah

Jason: of anything to even
know what was going on.

So bada bing, bada boom, uh, we good.

M- drop the mic.

Bam.

Marissa: And Alicia sits down, like,
"I handled this," looks at Elsbeth,

and Elsbeth is like, "I'm so sorry.

I'm so sorry."

Jason: Like, bro, what the hell?

Marissa: So sorry.

Uh, next time we see Elspeth in
court, she's literally sitting with

a bottle of Old Spice and sniffing
it like glue or something like that.

She's just inhaling

Jason: Is that what that was?

I was like, "Is she stuffing
glue literally in corks?"

Marissa: But she was sniffing Old Spice.

A whole bottle of… She brought
like a whole bottle, not a travel

size, not anything like that,
just a whole bottle of Old Spice.

And then she tell, asks Alicia if
she loves the song Call Me Maybe,

which is a total Elsbeth thing to do.

Um, and Josh walks in the, the courtroom.

She's distracted, and Alicia's
like, "You're, you're good, right?

Like, you're okay?" And Elsbeth's
like, "Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Totally.

Total- totally okay."

Jason: call, call, get
Rayna Hecht in here, okay?

Let, let her earn her money.

Uh, it's like, no, we could not get
Jill Hennessy for for this episode.

We, we only, we only have enough
money to hire her for, like, a couple

episodes this, this season, so relax

Marissa: she obviously was on
vacation at some point because

she came back with her glow up

Jason: The Call Me Maybe of it all
was so interesting because, you know,

much like a lot of things that happen
in this show, it's just like such a

time portal back to, back to a moment
of like, "Oh my God, please don't

play this song. Get it stuck back in
my head again," which it kinda did.

Um, it was like, "Call, Call-- Have
you heard the song Call Me Maybe?"

And I was like, "Oh no, we're
in Call Me Maybe times?" And it

Marissa: Well, we are but we
aren't 'cause Felicia's like,

it was popular like a while

Jason: Yeah.

I was like, what?

And I don't even, still don't know
what the point of all that was, 'cause

it didn't really pay off or anything.

It was just like, do they find out
that they can now get the song "Call Me

Maybe" on the cheap to play on the show?

And they're like, "You know, I really
like that song. Maybe we can find

a way to work it into the episode."

Marissa: I don't know.

I just thought that was much more
authentic of an Elsbeth conversation

than her being distracted by magazines

Jason: was the name of
the artist of that song?

Marissa: Carly Rae Jepsen

Jason: Jepsen.

That's right.

Yeah.

Okay.

It's all coming back to me now

Marissa: Yeah, like I would be,
I'm a really good on a trivia team.

Um, 'cause like if you ask me a
question, I can give you an answer.

But if I c- if, if I'm coming up
without a question, I have no idea.

Jason: Yeah, if you just thought of it

Marissa: really hard.

Jason: just thought of it on your own,
you wouldn't be able to get Carter and

Jefferson, but now that I asked you the

Marissa: Yes, exactly.

Exactly, exactly.

So next on the stand we have
Stanley Provonovost, you

Jason: A lot of hard names in this episode

Marissa: Yeah, so sorry.

He is a CIA analyst and he found
that there was code, our code, like

the code was in a, like MSS which
is the China's CIA communication,

like in something from them.

So he's like, "Look, they got this code.

Basically they could break into anything.

Anything, anything made out of a
computer these guys could break

into." Um, so Alicia's like, "Okay,
I think they're overreaching.

I know what I'll do.

I'll call Kalinda for
the one time this season.

I think this is it.

I think this is the one call.

I think this is it." And basically
asks her to find any civilian

app purchased by the Chinese.

It

Jason: I'll, I'll c- I'll call,

Marissa: was like, what?

Jason: I'll call Kalinda,
quote unquote, call Kalinda.

They, they had a lot of phone
conversations this episode of like,

someone was on the phone while
another person was, was, is some-

another location on the phone.

It's like, okay.

Like, i- if it wasn't plainly obvious to
us now, I don't know why it wasn't at the

time of like, are they going out of their
way to keep these two people separated?

Marissa: Yeah.

Yeah, it's kind of… Yeah.

But I was like, "Oh, at least they're
talking to people who are reading each

other's lines to each other so they
could have this phone conversation."

Uh, Elsbeth is working late.

She's in her office.

We hear the doo, doo, doo, doo,
doo, the beat of Call Me Maybe.

I was like, "Oh my God,
they're really gonna do this.

They're really gonna play
it." She's dancing it out.

I just have to say, Elsbeth is known
for her wardrobe on Elsbeth the TV show.

wearing like a nine- or an
1800s blouse at this point.

Jason: Well, I mean, listen, she's
gotta have something that can be

easily ripped open for the, uh,

Marissa: Yeah, I know.

I know.

But I just was like, okay.

So she's dancing it out.

Josh knocks on the door.

She's like, "Oh my gosh." He's like,
"I couldn't stand it when you said

you were married in court." And she
goes, "Why?" And he says, "Because

I looked at you." I was like, oh my
God, you cannot write this any better.

I was like, this is so good.

This is so, so, so good.

And then of course they
look, they look, they kiss.

Elsbeth is like halfway
on the desk at this point.

She says, "I used to be a lot skinnier."
And he's like, "You're the most

beautiful woman I've ever seen." And
then he rips her blouse open and it

goes baby lotion, and she rips his
shirt open and says, "Old Spice."

Jason: It's, it's so bizarre, but
so, like, I almost got a tear.

I was like, "This is so romantic. This
is so great." Kurt and Diane, look out.

You might have new
competition for best couple on

Marissa: Oh, dude.

Yeah.

I mean, it's like I would
write, I like… I don't know.

Was there fan fiction about them?

I would read that.

I would read that

Jason: That would get real
weird and real… So I feel like

there's, there, there is some crazy
shit going on in that bedroom.

I don't know.

I don't know what happened in that office.

Maybe they, you know, probably didn't
have all the stuff they, they have at

their houses, but I just imagine the
Elsbeth/Josh Ferretti stuff gets real wild

Marissa: But there was enough
because the morning after,

Jason: Oh, it's a

Marissa: Elsbeth

Jason: in there.

Marissa: is … Well, first of all,
it's a mess, but she is lying on her

desk with a bl- like, with a shawl.

Like, she had something
to cover herself up.

She, like, is still naked in the office.

Uh, and Kalinda calls on a conference call
to Alicia and Elsbeth and says, "Hey, I

did the impossible, and I found that in
2002, the same Chinese company that bought

stuff from Camil- Camilla's company,
JServ," which I have remembered now, um,

bought something from a Boston firm called
Cunningworth Dunlap which was weird.

But it turns out that this
company, Cunningworth Dunlap,

was a CIA front company.

Jason: It sound, it, it sounds
like a CIA front company

Marissa: Yeah.

This entire time I was just like,
maybe it's not a good thing,

maybe, for government and private
companies to be so intertwined.

Jason: No, Marissa, get out of

Marissa: Maybe.

It's a big maybe.

It's, it's like, it's like a
call me maybe type of situation

Jason: Great.

Now I know what's gonna be in
my head for the rest of the week

Marissa: Well, I mean,
some- it, it can alternate.

It can go into the rotation of things.

It's not bad.

It's not a bad one to have.

Uh, basically, this place had
to close up shop when they were

connected with the Valerie Plame case.

Do you remember this,

Jason: No, this is real?

I had no idea this

Marissa: remem- oh, my gosh.

Okay, so Valerie Plame,

Jason: Uh-huh。

Marissa: CIA agent, okay?

Been working undercover fair long time.

Her husband also is
involved in espionage, okay?

One day, her name and her, her p- she's
basically doxxed by "The Washington

Post." Now, this was back in, like,
George Bush was president, so, like,

this was not something that we did,
and still probably should never do.

But she was basically outed in the
situation, and it came back that this

guy named Scooter Libby was the guy
who told "The Washington Post" who this

woman was and all this information,
and it basically put the country

in big risk because she was working
on some pretty high, high stuff.

Uh, Scooter Libby was chief of staff
to then Vice President Dick Cheney,

Jason: Ja

Marissa: and so before George
Bush left office, he commuted

Scooter Libby's sentence.

Didn't pardon him, but was basically
like, "You served it," whatever.

And Trump gets into office and
says, "You're pardoned." So

Jason: For those that don't
watch the YouTube versus made a

interesting gesture with their
hands, it's like, "You're pardoned."

Marissa: Well, I just, I just, and that's
also another thing that I realized while I

was watching this episode is like we were
worried about stuff like this back then.

We were worried about, um,
government secrets being given

to foreign adversaries and now

Jason: afternoon to us now.

Marissa: yeah,

Jason: And it's d- it's
done by Wednesday morning.

We're, we're done thinking
about it on Wednesday morning

Marissa: We lived through, uh,
piles of classified documents

in a bathroom at a resort.

You know what I mean?

Like, it's just different worlds.

Just a different world.

Anyway, so Colinda calls with this
information, says, "Okay, we got this.

Let's try to find an invoice. It's
gonna take a while." Elizabeth, or

El- Elizabeth, I combined some things.

Alicia says, "Let's ask for a
delay," and Elsbeth says, "No.

I've got his buttons."

Jason: I got

Marissa: So she's gonna handle it.

She's gonna handle it.

So she goes and she visits Josh, and
they have this, like, sweet little

moment of like, "Here's your buttons.

I have your buttons." And
then she's like, "I'm here.

I'm here for work.

We can't do this.

I'm here for work."

Jason: I, I, I'm kind of like Elsbeth
now when-- 'cause when you, you

say buttons, I automatically think
of, "Loosen up my buttons, babe,

ah," sung by The Pussycat Dolls.

And news did come out today that
Nicole Scherzinger is going to be a

guest star on "Elsbeth" this season.

Marissa: Oh, oh my God.

She's a Tony Award winner for
those who want to debate that.

That is a thing that she is,

Jason: So I really felt like in my
Elspeth bag where one, one word leads

to like three other things and that it

Marissa: Yeah, that was

Jason: leads you back around to,

Marissa: That was

Jason: complete a f- a, a whole thought

Marissa: I mean, Jason,
you can see in your mind.

I cannot.

So what was that experience like?

Did you see all that while you

were connecting

Jason: I saw The Buttons, and then I saw
Nicole Scherzinger-Dinger, uh, dancing

in The Buttons video, uh, which is, which
is an image I see a lot, uh, in my mind,

Marissa: own time.

In your

Jason: in my own time.

Uh, so that's always on, on
deck in the rotation of my mind.

Uh, so then I was like, "Oh, I see her,"
and then I see, like, the, uh, the news

release I saw earlier today that said
Nicole Scherzinger-Berger-Dinger is going

to be on, uh, "Elswyth" this season.

Also Nicholas Braun?

Is that his name?

Marissa: Oh yeah, yeah

Jason: Braun, some guy named OG something.

Uh, people seem to know who he was.

I don't know who he is.

And, uh, Jemima something.

J- Jemima something from "Girls."

Marissa: Okay.

Jason: stars are gonna be
on "Elswyth" this season.

Marissa: Wow.

That we know of.

I mean, there's one every episode, but

Jason: So pretty

Marissa: the ones we know

Jason: pretty soon we'll be talking about
Nicole Scherzinger-Dinger-Dingerberger

Marissa: Well, that'll be a
happy day for you 'cause you

recapped tho- those episodes, so
you can, you can go wherever you

Jason: Yeah, a little bit of an Elsbeth
aside, uh, for you Elsbeth fans.

Uh, see ya, see ya in
about, uh, a month or so

Marissa: Yeah, it's coming up.

It's coming up.

Okay, so they have their little
button exchange, and then she's like,

"Listen, I'm here for work." She says,
"Kalinda found this invoice from this

company that sold an app to the same
comp- Chinese company, so basically

you're cooked, bro." As they say on,
in some regions and on some shows,

Jason: not a vibe

Marissa: You're cooked.

Uh, so he's like, "How do you know … How
do I know you're not faking?" And she's

like, "I can't believe you would do this.

Here is the invoice." And he's,
he does the thing he did the

first time we saw Josh Perotti.

He takes it and he walks it
over to his little friend, the

shredder, and he shreds the invoice.

And, and Elsbeth, callback upon callback,
because Elsbeth then makes it very clear

that Josh Perotti just destroyed evidence.

And Josh is like, "Oh,
you're so funny, Elsbeth.

Like, this is Illinois.

We have a dual consent law basically
saying you have to consent and I have

to consent to be recorded." And she's
like, "Aw, Josh, that's so cute.

You should spend more time in Illinois
'cause they just changed it and now it's

only needs one person's consent, and I do
consent." And then she says, "So call me.

Maybe."

Jason: Oh, so worth

Marissa: But did you see how she,
like, walked out the door, too?

She was like, boop.

Jason: Yep.

Served.

You got served.

You're cooked

Marissa: Yes.

I thought that was cute 'cause
they kind of like got each

other at his o- their own games.

That, again, that is pure Elsbeth.

Like, that kind of move, that type of
thing, that's what we're talking about.

So Josh goes back to court and
he's like, "Okay, the jig is up.

I'm just gonna withdraw everything."
And, uh, in my opinion, judge says,

"Well, that was a supreme waste of time."

Jason: Get it?

Supreme

Marissa: And Josh is headed back to DC.

They say goodbye to each other,
and after they separate, they both

sniff each other's like hands 'cause
they had a h- handshake, and so

they just sniff each other

Jason: So weird.

Now, the whole Josh Parady and
Elizabeth of it all was worth it,

but this, the case kind of ended in a

Marissa: Yeah, they get, yeah.

Jason: it was like, okay, it wasn't
really fireworks to end this case,

just kinda like a, "Oh, oh, you got me.

Uh, I quit, I

Marissa: Just kidding.

But yes, get him on Elsbeth, please.

I need it

Jason: That's a, that
seems like a no-brainer.

Why wouldn't they do that?

Marissa: Yeah.

I mean, and also, like, what's his face?

What's his name?

The guy, the dude who does
the acting for that role?

Jason: Karmaklokken

Marissa: Thank you.

He w- I think he would love it.

I think he would do

Jason: He seems like a, a great
fit for what Elsbeth does.

Like, he's that type of actor that,
like, would thrive on that show.

Now

Marissa: And I would love

Jason: don't do what you like to
do, Elsbeth, and repurpose people

and make him a different character.

He needs to be Josh Perotti.

Kyle MacLachlan needs to
come on as Josh Perotti

Marissa: but I think he needs to
be Josh Perotti retired ASA, and he

runs into Elsbeth, like, in Central
Park or something, and then he's

like, "Oh my gosh, what is that?

Baby lotion?

Do I smell baby lotion?" And she's
like, "Oh, is that Old Spice?"

And then he helps her with a case.

Like, it's not an adversarial thing, but
it's, it is kind of like a competition.

Not that I'm writing this entire
thing in my mind at the moment,

but that's what I would like to see

Jason: They could do so much with,
with that character in that, in

that environment for, for Elsbeth.

Like she, she could be an adversary.

They could go up against each
other again, or y- like you

said, they could help each other.

She could help prove he's
innocent of a murder or something

Marissa: Yeah.

I mean, 'cause he would
totally be suspected of one.

He's kind of creepy.

Jason: Yeah, exactly

Marissa: He was smelling
babies in an elevator, so.

So that was the case of
the week/Elsbeth of it all.

Uh, we did have some movement
on the campaign this week.

Um, it, it was, of course, religion week.

Um, Elfman, I forget his first name,
but the campaign manager was making

Alicia watch these videos of politicians
being interviewed by Pastor Jeremiah

Jason: Now, this isn't the first
time we've seen Pastor Jeremiah.

Marissa: Yeah, because I for sure wrote
Pastor Isaiah out of habit in my notes.

I was like

Jason: Yeah, w- I, man, I
wish it was Pastor Isaiah.

Pastor Jeremiah we did see, we saw a
few seasons ago, um, back when, uh, Mike

Cristeva was introduced on that whole,
uh, blue panel, blue ribbon panel I

think it was called, where they were,
like, uh, investigating some cases of

police misconduct possibly, and he was
on the-- He, J- Pastor Jeremiah was on

the panel, and he was like, he was almost
like a, a ally of Alicia's at, at a

certain point, um, in that panel thing.

So I was surprised they didn't
really reference that, uh,

when they do finally meet up.

But yeah, we've, we've seen him before.

He's not, he's not new here.

Marissa: But he apparently is
interviewing every single politician

under the sun because we see Senator
Mark Kirk from Illinois, but then we

also see Chuck Schumer from New York.

I was like, "What?"

Jason: Chucky?

Oh my gosh." Chuck Schumer
looking, looking very young,

looking, you know, young for him

Marissa: Yeah, very, yes.

Yes.

Very, what do they say?

Svelte?

Jason: Svelte.

I was like, "Oh, there's Chucky," before
I even knew who Chucky really was.

I'm like, "Oh, look at

Marissa: Before his glasses were like
down on his nose, like they were so

Jason: he, b-b-before he morphed into a
supreme old man, he, you know, he was just

Marissa: was just an oldie

Jason: just kind of an old guy.

Now he's like super-duper old.

Uh, but before he was just, uh, an old
guy and I didn't even know he, what

he was going to be to me in my future.

Marissa: And of course, uh, Alicia's
like, "Why do I have to do this?" And

Elfman is trying to explain that, like,
people, like, don't vote for atheists,

and they want to know who you are.

And

Jason: I'm a little surprised
that Alicia is surprised that this

Marissa: Yeah, agreed.

Jason: for her because yeah,
the don't you know people?

Like, that's just, that's
just kinda what that, what

Marissa: and it's, it's not like she
hasn't been in the political orbit, like,

forever, and she saw how her husband
used religion to revamp his image.

So I feel like she should have
some knowledge of this conversation

Jason: And she knows when Peter ran,
it gets referenced in this episode,

that, that the fact that she was
an atheist became a talking point.

So it's like, why are
you surprised about this?

I, I just increasingly find
Alicia was not prepared for this.

She had no real ambition
to actually do this.

She just kind of fell
ass backwards into this.

So I'm like, I have no idea how
I even got here, and I don't

even know what I'm doing here.

Marissa: There's a knock at the door
during this conversation, and it's none

other than Marissa, and she has been
assigned to be Alicia's body woman, who

is the person who basically makes sure
she gets from A to B as she, and she also

explains does not get poisoned by her food

Jason: The second best
Marissa that I know of

Marissa: Thank you.

Thank you.

Thank you.

I

Jason: thought you were the first?

Oh.

Marissa: I know I am.

No, it's not Marissa from Maps.

Jason: that's, that's
kinda who I was talking

Marissa: not.

No, it's not.

It's not Marissa from

Jason: not.

It's so not.

Oh my gosh

Marissa: I do not have a
Ninja Creami ice cream maker.

Okay.

Jason: yes, Marissa, Marissa's back.

We love us

Marissa: Marissa's back.

She's got a new role here.

She's, basically she said that Eli has
assigned me to be the, the spy, but, uh,

don't worry, I'm not a, not a good spy.

Marissa, you are a great spy.

Like, she is a good spy

Jason: fantastic.

If you know anything about Marissa and
her future in this franchise, this is

the first of, like, a thousand different
jobs and roles Marissa will have

Marissa: Yes.

Jason: over the course of
Good Wife and Good Fight

Marissa: it's a good one though.

It's a good one.

Um, Marissa brings Alicia at the office
a mug, and she's like, "You don't have

to bring me coffee." And Marissa goes,
"It's milk." And Alicia goes, "Why?"

She's like, "Why not?" Like, why not?

Jason: Who doesn't love milk?

Marissa: Uh, but we find out that, uh,
Alicia's going to be interviewed by Pastor

J- Jeremiah after Castro that night.

Eli is recommending that Alicia use
the courthouse shooting as a way

to, like, say that, like, changed my
life, changed my mind, got me thinking

about God, do all of this stuff.

Uh-

Jason: Eli via Elfin because this is a,

Marissa: No, via Marissa

Jason: whoever.

This is a, uh, Eli-free episode for

Marissa: Yes.

He was

Jason: Cumming had the day off.

Yeah.

We were fixing- We're trying
to fix his hair, okay?

It's taking a while

Marissa: Elfman is trying to work
on some sort of way she could say,

like, "I, like, realized that religion
was being used to form bias against

the ultra-conservative," like trying
to, like, to ways this some way.

Uh, Marissa definitely has
opinions about this, and Elfman

is like, basically stops talking.

It's just like, "Oh, I
didn't know that I had…

That I couldn't have opinions."
Uh, and then this happens, which I

hate so much because Alicia calls
her daughter and says, "Hi, Grace.

Religion's in my life again."
Not like, "Hey, how you doing?

How was your day?

I'm your mother.

I love you," any of this stuff.
It's just like, "I only talk to my

daughter when it's about religion

Jason: I need my personal
little, uh, Bible

Marissa: Yeah.

So Alicia and Grace have basically
Bible study that night, and

they're reviewing some of Pastor
Jeremiah's former interviews, and

he talks about, like, ways to pray.

And Alicia explains that, like,
knowing all this is gonna help her

because it's, like, opening arguments.

She's gonna have a lot
of things she can use.

And Grace is asking her, like, "Hey,
are you gonna say you believe in God?"

And she says, "No." And she's literally
… She asks her mom, "Are you gonna say

you're an a- atheist?" She says, "No."
"Are you gonna say you're struggling?"

It's like, "No." And then Alicia says
to Grace, "I'm not gonna say that I

believe in God." And Grace goes "But why?

Like, why not?

Like, why don't you … Like,
what is the struggle here?

Like, what is the situation?" And she
says, "It's politics." And then Grace

basically is like, "Okay, whatever.

Bye

Jason: Not even sure what
that means, but okay.

Marissa: Yeah, I was like, "Okay."
So it's time for the interview.

Elfman is nervous about this whole thing.

Uh, basically, Alicia's stance
here is like, "I'm listening."

Sidebar for those of you who watched
Succession, but it reminded me of, "We're

listening." You'll get it if you get it.

But anyway, she's like, "I'm listening.
I have an open mind. Like, I'm not

taking one side or another." And
Pastor Jeremiah, like, pressures her.

She's like, "Are you-- You're open to
listening to people who talk about God?"

She's like, "Yeah." And he goes, "Is that
because of the courtroom shooting?" And

she says, "No, I like… No, not ready
to talk about that." Um, and then Pastor

Jeremiah goes, "Was Grace the person
who talked to you about God?" Because

this is the thing I never understand
about evangelical Christianity, and

this is me speaking my own, Marissa's
opinion, situa- in my opinion.

Jason: Yeah, perfect

Marissa: I never understood the whole,
like, this one person talking about God

this one time opened up this situa- Like,
'cause that's basically what he's saying.

He's like, "Was Grace the person
that talked to you about God that,

like, did this thing?" And I was
like, "It's not that powerful, dude.

Like, she's got, like, a bunch of
other things happening in her life

that may have opened this door

Jason: Well, yeah, I mean, I, I think
it's a good question to ask 'cause,

you know, the, we know that Grace is
a, is a God person, so it's like, did

someone close to you, like, you know,
introduce you to the glory of God?

Um, so yeah, I mean, I get it, but it's
just like, no, she's a 16-year-old girl.

Marissa: exactly.

Yeah

Jason: I think I can, I think
I can work th- I can work that

stuff out myself as an adult.

Um,

Marissa: use my kid in

Jason: y- yeah, you can tell Alicia's a
little like, "Mm." Like she even says,

"Oh, I, I guess political people are the
only people that have researchers, huh?

'Cause I, I don't know how you
knew that about my daughter.

Uh, but that's kind of weird
and creepy that you know that

about my 16-year-old daughter.

Uh, not cool, bro.

Not cool." Um, I, I do like how like,
you know, Pastor Jeremiah is just like,

"But you're an atheist though, right?

Like we heard, we heard you were an
atheist." She's like, "Listen, uh, I found

that my, uh, my dogmatism is decreasing.

I can't say for certain God
doesn't exist." It's like, wow,

way to, way to walk that tightrope.

You, you

Marissa: remember when she was like, when
Will died and that materialist guy was

on the stand and she was like, "We're all
like matter or energy." Like, yeah, like

she's, she's, I don't know, exploring.

And,

Jason: though.

She's not.

Marissa: no, exactly

Jason: trying to get out
of the whole conversation.

Like, she's like, you know, I…
She's trying to both sides this

thing of like, I don't not, I don't
not not n- ex- think God exists.

Like, I don't not not not not think
God, like, uh, she's just trying to

really tangle everything up to be like,

Marissa: Not, not, not.

Jason: "You don't know what I'm

Marissa: out that,

Jason: but I'm not taking a
stance one way or the other."

Marissa: Yeah.

Yeah.

And then Jer, uh, the, uh, Pastor
Jeremiah's like, "I wanna pray

with you, and I think Grace is
praying with us too." And I was

just like, "Oh boy, that's a lot."

Jason: Grace who was watching
on her desktop computer

Marissa: Yes.

Jason: It's like, oh, so we still haven't
really gotten around to, you know,

watching things on laptops or phones.

It's like, gotta be on the
desktop computer in the room

Marissa: Marissa drives Alicia home
and she's like, "That went well." And

then she has to remind us she spent
two years in Israel, and she said that

people talked about God there, but
she … It sounded like an, an old

uncle, like kept in a closet somewhere.

But the thing that's interesting about
this conversation is she tells Alicia,

um, or Alicia tells Marissa, "I don't
like pretending to be someone I'm not."

And Marissa says, "Well, you're good
at it, so … " And then there's this

weird, creepy scene of Grace having
youth group, and they're all praying

and saying like, "Oh my gosh, Grace
opened the door for her to … her

mom," and like all of this stuff.

And Grace is even like, "This is weird.
Like, why are you talking about this?"

Jason: She's a little,
she's a little icked out.

Um, I, I d- I really enjoyed Marisa
kind of like accidentally shadow reading

Alicia of like, "Oh, you're really good
at acting like, you know, pretending like

you're someone you're not, 'cause you've
been doing it basically this whole show.

Like, you've been acting like
the good wife for Peter, and

you know, we, we know it's an

Marissa: That, yeah.

And that is Marissa's MO.

Like, that's how she'll
read shade all the time.

She'll, uh, which I, I love about

Jason: I'm not even sure she meant to.

Like, I don't even know if she meant
to do that, but then like, it's

like, oh, you k- you kinda did that.

You kinda, you kinda
burnt her a little bit.

And I think it got Alicia thinking
of like, "Have, have I ever pretended

to be someone I'm not?" Yes, you have

Marissa: Yes.

Okay, we're coming to the end here.

We gotta talk about offices
and we gotta talk about Carrie.

So, um, when we-- O- over at LG,
Canning has all these people together.

They're talking about family and how much
they treat their clients like family.

Um, and David is, like, standing over
him like, I don't know, God or something.

Um, but we see the, we see our
friend, the server, biker messenger

dude, and we know what's coming.

He's getting served.

They're, they're getting served
with an eviction notice from Diane.

Um, they go tell the partners and David's
like: Listen, I got a friend at OSHA,

so we can find some OSHA violations
that would need to be resolved to kind

of like slow this down a little bit.

Jason: Howard, Howard Lyman, who
is, he's back on our screens, goes,

"Jacques Cousteau's son?" They're
like, "What are you talking about, bro?

What did you just say?"

Marissa: Like OSHA

Jason: Literally just look at him and
then go back to speaking like, "We're

not even gonna, we, we're not even
gonna, like, even address that you

said anything. We're gonna just ignore
that 'cause that was wild stuff." They

just go back to talking to each other.

Marissa: It was so good.

He was like, "Anyway, so OSHA."

Basically, uh, they are gonna owe,
like, I don't know, $660,000 to

get this stuff addressed that David
has found in the OSHA violations.

And so over at Floricagos, they're
on a conference call trying to

figure out if they should pay.

Um, and they're l- like asking, "Can
we evict without paying?" Carrie's

at a bar somewhere at this time, but
he is not happy with the fact that

they're moving back into the LG offices.

He's like, "Listen, we left here to
do something different, and now you're

bringing us back to here. What is this?"

Jason: I can't blame him for
having reservations about this.

Marissa: I agree

Jason: This is what Kerry has been
afraid of the whole time, right?

As soon as they open that door back to
Diane of like, we're just, we're just

walking in a circle, and we're just
going right back to where we were before.

Because, you know, like, and like
I've, like I've been saying, we, we,

we've just been working to work our way
back into having all of our characters

back in their familiar location,
which is, which is annoying because

again, it, it feels like retread.

It feels like we're just trying to get
back to what we-- to our comfortable

space, uh, which I don't, I don't love
for a TV show, but Kerry's exactly right.

He's just like, "We let Diane
in- into the, into the firm.

Now we're going back to
those same exact offices.

It's just literally
what we did a year ago.

We're just right back in that space.

And, uh, uh, ju- in no time, I'm
sure I'm gonna get like pushed

out or something's gonna happen."

Marissa: hold that thought because
I, I have thoughts on that as we,

as we move in a little bit later.

Uh,

Jason: blame Care for being,
like, upset that they're, they're

Marissa: yeah, no,

Jason: to where they came from

Marissa: and also especially
because he held down the fort

when Alicia was not around.

Like she was dealing, I forget
what she was doing, but he was

like running this thing on his own

pretty much,

Jason: the whole Will thing, you know,

Marissa: That's it.

Thank you.

I was like, "What happened?"

Jason: When she was having
her walkabout dealing

Marissa: Yes.

Yes.

And he w- he, he did a
lot to set this place up.

Anyway, the other thing that bothers
me is that Kolinda apparently knows

everything about leases and everything
about OSHA violations because she, uh,

in the middle of this phone call is like,
"Don't worry." Canning has properties.

I'm sure we can find some
OSHA violations there as well

Jason: Yeah, we're gonna
fight fire with fire.

We're gonna fight OSHA
violations with OSHA violations

Marissa: Yes.

We do find out that Carrie is at the Ivy
League, like, lawyers convention thing.

Um, I do have to say it's still one
of my favorite things that Carrie

went to Harvard because Logan
went, um … the Gilmore Girls went

to Yale, and I love it so much.

It makes me smile every single time.

Um, but he starts his

He is drinking, first of all.

He's, like, drinking.

He flirts with this blonde lady
who basically wants nothing

to do with him after he, she
finds out that he is a felon and

he went to jail-

Jason: he is the Kyriakos
that everyone's talking about.

'Cause that, that was so funny.

He's like, "Oh, you're part of that
firm and that guy got arrested."

He's like, "Yeah, about that.

I am that guy."

Marissa: He's like, "Yeah,
you're looking at him.

Yeah, that's me." And then he is
just about to leave and he hears

a, "So you're the felon?" And he's
like, "Yeah, you're looking at him.

Like, I'm the dude." He's like,
"Anything dangerous happen in…

Or I'm the hardened criminal.

Anything dangerous happen in, in jail?

Like no gang rape?"

And I was like, "This is not funny.
This is not funny. Not funny." Uh,

but they're flirting at the situation.

Um, and I, I had a
Leonardo DiCaprio moment.

I was like, "You,

Jason: Угу

Marissa: I know you.

You're Dr. Al-Hashimi from the pit."

Jason: Yeah, I had no idea.

I had no clue.

I-- I was just like, it's just this,
this lady, but she's apparently, uh, on

one of the hottest shows on television.

I had no idea.

Marissa: Yeah.

Yeah, she's pretty good.

Uh, Collette and Diane go back to Lockhart
Gardner, and they're talking about, like,

they're like, "Oh, it's weird. Like, we
feel like we're behind enemy lines." And

Danny, Danning, David and Canning walk in.

Canning apparently is on a
kidney transplant list and

wa- are waiting for that.

Uh, but Collette is like, "Hey,

got these three properties of yours,
Canning. They also have OSHA violations."

And Canning lets this go way too easily.

He's like, "Yeah.

Oh, you got us

Jason: yeah.

Oopsie.

I guess you're gonna have
to drop the whole thing.

You guys win.

Oops.

Marissa: Oh boy.

Jason: at that point, you know something,
that the other shoe's gonna drop,

you know, pretty soon, like right now

Marissa: And like, Diane is saying
like, "With your health, Kenny, let

me know if there's anything you need."
And he's like, "Actually, there is

something." And David explains that
there's an amendment in the lease that

requires her presence on the property.

And since she walked out
and has not returned, she's

in violation of said lease.

Uh, Kalinda, again, knows
everything about this lease.

She's like, "No, actually, it says that
someone from Floricagos like needs to be

here, needs to be an occupant, occupant

Jason: I have to remind everyone,
Diane and everyone else here is

supposed to be a lawyer, right?

Marissa: Yes, I know.

Not Kalinda

Jason: yeah, lawyers
usually read over contracts.

Lawyers usually have these
type of loopholes, like that

they know before anything else.

Why is Kalinda the one that's like
finding all these loopholes, finding

all these wordings in the contract?

I'm like, can y'all do your jobs?

Like, the- why is
Kalinda doing everything?

Marissa: Well, and also
Diane, you signed it

Jason: Yeah.

Yeah.

And even when Kalinda brings it
up, she's like, "Oh yeah, I did

put it in there." Like, she, Diane
literally put that clause in there

Marissa: Yeah.

Yeah.

And so they're like, "Okay, well
who could this occupant be?"

Jason: Right?

'Cause it, it could be a proxy.

It doesn't have to be Diane.

It could be, it could be someone in
her stead that she just, that she deems

Marissa: And they knock on the office of a
man with no pants, none other than Howard

Jason: The man with no pants

Marissa: Carrie is coming back from
his very drunk night, uh, making

out with Dr. Al-Hashimi from the
pit, and who else is at his door?

None other than Mrs. Groovnik, AKA her,
his pretrial counselor, and she catches

them and says, "You've been drinking."
And he's like, "Which is my right." And

is like, "Have you been doing any drugs?"

And Dr. Al-Hashimi's like, "Not yet."

Jason: Uh, uh, uh-oh.

Marissa: She, and he's
like, "Sh- sh- shut up."

Jason: so last episode we, we
witnessed Carrie witnessing

Kalinda flirting with Lana.

So I guess he's taking this as kind
of a full send of like, "Well, I guess

we're doing whatever it is we're doing.
Like, you know, I, I don't have any

loyalty to Kalinda, I suppose. We just
doing, we just doing our own things."

'Cause, uh, he was for sure making
out with, with Dr. Al-Hashimi,

uh, on the way to the, to the crib

Marissa: Uh, y- yeah.

And it was, it was, it was
gonna go somewhere for sure.

Jason: Yeah.

Things, things are gonna go
in other things for sure.

Things are gonna go somewhere.

Marissa: Carey's like, "Hey, Mrs.
Grumnick, it would be great if you called.

Like, you should've called." And
she's like, "I don't do that when

I spot check." And so she's going
through her little checklist, like

who drove home, what's going on.

He's like, "I took an Uber."
She's like, "Cool, show me the

record of it on your phone."

And when she pulls it up, she finds
out that Carey went over the state

line into Indiana and therefore
violated his bail requirement

Jason: Oopsies.

Now, silly me, I, I guess I, I guess
time just flies by and I don't realize

how long things have been in existence
'cause he goes, "I took an Uber." I was

like, "Uber was around at this time?"

Marissa: Yeah, yeah.

I know.

I had the same thought.

I was like, "Oh, it must have
been, like, two days old or

Jason: Yeah.

I was like, "Wow, this-- they
had Uber back then?" As if

it was in, like, the '90s.

Like, well, I mean, it was
just 2000, like, 14 probably.

I was like, "I, I guess so." I guess
Uber's been around for more than 10

years, which is a wild thought to me

Marissa: Welcome to my life, Jason.

Everything is, like, smooshed into one
little… It's either the '90s or not.

Like, that's pretty much

Jason: I was like, I'd have swore
Uber's like five years old, you know?

Like

Marissa: Yeah.

Yeah.

Uh, so they're, uh, go to bail court and
they're arguing like, "Hey, this man was

just a mile outside of the state lines.

This, you know, we can cut him some
slack." And Finn, who knew, ally Finn

says, "The only reason that this is
being debated is because he went to a

Harvard mixer and he is a white man,
because I just came from a place, I just

went to so many of these hearings with
other people for f- less things where it

was ruled that they violated the bail."

And then just like a white
woman like Diane would say, she

says, "This isn't a race issue."

Jason: Oh, you're, you're, oh, you're

Marissa: "Oh, Diane. Oh, Diane."

Jason: card.

You're pulling the Black card there.

I see what you're doing.

This is… I, I'm not r-
no one here is racist.

No one said anything about
race until you brought it up

Marissa: And I just wanna mark this
because again, as we track the character

development of Diane Lockhart, this
is an important, just like she's

not seeing this at this moment.

Like she is not seeing
how Carrie has privilege.

She is not seeing how that can affect
certain conversations, and she doesn't

think that race is a part of the equation.

Just, just mark that.

If you go with us, which I hope
you do, on the journey into "The

Good Fight," there, it, it, it's
something that's gonna come up again.

'Cause this is a race issue in terms
of how Carrie is going to be treated.

Uh, basically the judge says, "Hey, Joy
Grubnik, you've got 24 hours to see,

recommend any bail restrictions, uh,
modifications, and I will make a ruling."

So Diane goes to meet with Howard,
or brings Howard to Flor-agos,

and he's like, "You want me?

Like me?

You want me?" And they're like,
"Yeah, Howard, you ha- like

you have so much experience.

Like this is, this is what we need.

This is like a really young firm.

We kinda gotta like balance
the, the s- the scales here."

And he's like, "What about more money?"
And Diane's like, "It's not about

money for someone like you, Howard.

It's about being in court.

Canning and David will not allow you
to be in court, and you know that.

You know what, what that is."

Jason: Yeah.

This, this is, and this is an old trick
in and of itself 'cause she's used this

before to like, to get Howard on her side.

Like I remember when, it wasn't even
that long ago where like, uh, she's

like, "Howard, why don't you take
the, take the deposition?" I think it

was even, it was even like cross, uh,
cross-examining Alicia of like, "Why

don't you go ahead and take this, Howard?"

Like, you know, getting him, like showing
that respect to Howard that Canning

and David Lee just won't show him to be
like, even if it's faux respect, right?

Of like, "You, you, you
could do so much, Howard.

You're such a good lawyer.

Why

Marissa: You're like, "I believe in

Jason: Yeah.

Yeah, they don't, they don't
respect you over there.

We respect you for the lawyer
that you are over here."

Marissa: Yes.

Yeah.

In the middle of this, Kalinda gets
a call, gets the call, the call, not

another call, the call, uh, from K- from
Alicia when she was asking about finding

all these apps, and at the end of that
conversation she goes, "Have you heard

from Gary?" And Alicia's like, "What?"
It's like, "Oh, Gary was arrested again."

What?

Jason: What?

Marissa: she had no clue.

She's totally out of the loop.

Jason: Me, self-absorbed?

No way

Marissa: What?

While she's on the phone with Alicia,
Joy Grubnik comes in and is like, "Hey,

Kalinda, can I talk to you about Gary?"

Jason: Bruh.

But when I tell you I thought this
was going somewhere that it didn't

go, I literally wrote in my notes,
"Joy and Kalinda talk, and Joy tells

Kalinda that Carrie was with one
other woman." And it never happened.

And I, I was trying to future
like, you know, uh, tell the

future and it didn't happen.

I was like, "Oh, okay.

That, that did not go where I was
expecting it to go, but fine." I,

I thought the whole purpose of this
was to tell Kalinda that Carrie was

with, making out with some other woman

Marissa: No.

No.

The whole purpose of this, unfortunately,
was to frame Kalinda as a dangerous

person, because she is asking Kalinda
all these questions, like, "You're

the investigator. You work closely
with Carrie. Uh, does that extend

to the personal relationship?"
And sh- she kinda dodges that.

But then Joy has, like, the fact that
in 2012, Kalinda was arrested for

harassing a juror, and she-- Kalinda's
like, "But nothing came of it."

And also in 2011, you were subject of a
grand jury indictment f- about Dr. Booth.

And she's like, "Yeah, again, nothing came
of it." And then she's like, "Did you work

with Carrie on cases for Leomand Bishop?"

Jason: Nice.

Nice.

Uh, I was, I was trying to remember
these things that she was talking about,

'cause these were our moments from
this, from the show, and I was like,

2012 arrested for harassing a juror.

I remember something similar to this.

Was she arrested by, um,
who was she arrested by?

Marissa: I think it was the case where,
uh, there was babies involved and a

medicine, and they were trying to…
Like, they were counting the jurors,

and they were gonna try to turn a juror

Jason: Possibly.

I do remember the whole Dr. Booth thing,
'cause that was the whole, that was all

of Blake's nonsense in season two where
Blake beat this, uh, psychologist guy

almost to death and framed Kalinda for it.

I remember that.

Um, did Jenna arrest Kalinda last
season for like, for harassing a juror?

Was that, was that something
that Damian cooked up?

I do remember her like in
the back of a police car.

I do remember her getting
bailed out by Diane maybe.

I remember I, I s- course, uh, kinda
recall that stuff, but I, I thought I, it

was great that they were referencing the
past of the show in this, in this thing

Marissa: Yeah.

Yeah.

And she's really interested in how
much Kalinda has worked with Bishop.

Um, so much so that Kalinda kind of gives
her a look, and then Joy goes, "Do you

have an opinion?" And Kalinda says, "Yes.

Cary is the most honest person I know,
and h- what is happening now is a

failure of the system of Cook County,
not anything that Cary has done."

I was like, "Right on, Kalinda.

Right on." Uh, Diane shows up at Lockhart
Gardner after speaking to Howard, and

David is like, "What, what… We got you.

Like, what do you think, what's gonna
happen here?" And Kalinda, again, is

like, "According to section 18A of the
blah, blah, blah lease," uh, Diane,

if Diane is not on the premises,
someone there can be her proxy.

And Howard's like, "It's me.

Jason: I'm the

Marissa: I'm the proxy."

Jason: It's, uh, I'm, I'm the guy.

I'm important

Marissa: It's me.

Uh, so here's your eviction notice.

Fellas, you got 24 hours to get out.

And Howard's like, "I'm gonna take me
and my physical presence, and I will be

in my office." Uh, Carrie is arriving at
the Floricagos' office, and Alicia says,

which I think I have a problem with.

I think this is very disingenuous,
and I also think it's a little, like,

like show some action behind this.

I know she worked really hard to get
his bail or whatever, but she's like,

"We're here for you, Gary. Like, we're
here for you." And he, he's like, and a

way to do that is maybe to compromise.

I know they've had differences
on the business or whatever, but

she's kind of like taking the
reins with Diane on this firm.

And I feel like she could maybe throw
him a bone in that area to show that

Jason: Yeah.

I mean, Alicia, you
know who's here for me?

Kalinda's here for me.

You know who's here for me?

Diane is even here for me.

I ain't seen you.

Like you, you're off doing your, uh,
state's attorney thing, and now you come

over here where you finally hear about
what's going on with me, and you're

like, "Ooh, Cary, we're here for you."

Marissa: not only did he hold down
the fort when she had her will

walkabout, then, like, she's there
for two seconds and decides, "Oh, I'm

gonna run for state's attorney. Bye."

Jason: And then like, "Yeah, Alicia,
I was here for you during the whole

Will thing. You know what happened
when I was in trouble? You, you decided

to go around me and get Diane to,
like, take my spot, basically." Like,

Marissa: Yes.

Yeah.

Yeah

Jason: we're, we're diving deeper
than the show is de- diving right now,

but it's, it's kinda like from the
outside looking, it's like, "Bro, what?

Why do you… You know, I was

Marissa: What are you doing?

Jason: and you were like, 'Let me get
someone else in here to, you know, to, to

be our partner,' when I didn't want that.

And now you're like,
'Oh, we're here for you.'

Marissa: Like, and she
wasted, like, no time.

Like, she didn't even, like, give him
the courtesy of, like, waiting until the

whole situation had resolved or whatever.

Jason: Just like say, save, save, save
your WWTs, Alicia, please save them

Marissa: She's like, "We do this
together." I'm like, "Okay, whatever."

Uh, Joy is ready to give her report
to the court, and she says, "Because

of Kerry's attitude and casual
take, I recommend the following

changes to his b- bail restrictions.

One, an ankle monitor at all times.

Two, a 9:00 PM curfew.

And three, no contact with Kalinda Sharma
because she is a dangerous individual."

Jason: Dangerous woman.

Um, I mean, listen,

Marissa: Quit with the
jukebox today, Jason.

Jason: I am.

I really am.

I don't know what's going on with me.

Um, it must be the "Call Me Maybe" summons
really got me in a, a musical mood.

Um, but listen, not wrong.

She's not wrong.

Yeah, Anko is dangerous.

She- is she

Marissa: She is.

Jason: carry?

Not exactly, but she's

Marissa: But I was like,
I was real worried.

I was real worried.

Like, I was real worried that she
was gonna be racially profiled for

being dangerous in this situation.

Like, I just was like, "Where are
you going?" But she does follow it up

saying, like, she has prior arrests,
and also she has worked with…

This time she says Limond
Bishop this entire time.

And then the judge goes, "Uh, hey,
ASA, do you agree?" And he's like,

"Yep." Fin is like, "Yeah, of course.

Yeah, sure.

On it." Um, so these are the new res-
restrictions that are approved and the

judge gives Carrie one final warning.
Which leads me to think that, as you

were saying, Carrie is like, "Well, F it.

If Kalinda can have elevator moments with
Lana, I can go have bar moments with my

fellow Ivy Leaguers." Uh, the show is
like, "Let's put this they can't talk

to each other thing in front of them,"
so then there's this, like, tension

Jason: Yeah, 100%.

Marissa: that will have to
be released at some point

Jason: Yeah.

I, I also wanna go back to the whole
Kalinda of it all, where, you know,

Joy is talking to Kalinda and she's
like, "And you're the, uh, the, you're

the investigator for this firm." And
th- that got me to thinking, is Robin?

Like does, does Robin still work here?

Let's, let's start a Robin watch.

Let-

Marissa: I didn't even, I
didn't even think of it.

Well, she's not, she wasn't
the receptionist in this moment

Jason: not even, yeah, she's
not even a secretary anymore.

I don't know where Robin went.

Um, can we, like let's
start a Robin watch.

Do you, do you like, do you
over under, do you think we…

Well, actually let me ask this.

Do you think we ever see Robin again?

Is Robin ever coming back?

You think we will?

Marissa: yes.

Jason: How, in

Marissa: Like in the entire
series or the season?

Jason: Entire

Marissa: In the series for sure

Jason: Okay.

I don't know.

I don't know.

How many episodes do you think
it's gonna take to see Robin again?

Next episode, two episodes, call your shot

Marissa: six of season six.

Jason: Call your shot

Marissa: I think, well, I think it's
sooner than you think because if Kalinda

can't work with Cary, but Cary can't
really work on anything right now, right?

Because of the whole,
like, I don't know, can he?

Can he be a practicing lawyer?

I have no idea.

But there will become a situation where
he is going to need an investigator,

and Kalinda is not gonna be there.

So Kalinda and Robin are gonna have to
work together, and then Robin is gonna

have to be the person that tells Cary.

Again, I ha- cannot remember any of this.

So I'm gonna say two episodes

Jason: Okay.

It really, it also makes me
wonder, did Archie Punjabi have

her own Juliana Margulies moment?

And like, "You know that girl that
you hired to, to like ref-" "Yeah,

I don't wanna see her ever again.

We can't be in scenes together
anymore." It was like Robin got

demoted from investigator to
receptionist to maybe f- maybe fired.

I don't know.

It's like we just haven't
seen her in a few episodes.

Marissa: you?

What do you think?

Jason: I know that I, I, I'm liable
to say we don't ever see Robin again.

I don't know.

Um, I'll… Shoot.

Um, you said two.

Give me four.

Marissa: All right.

All right.

We'll see what, we'll see.

Jason: Watch, she'll be on the
next, she'll be on the next episode.

All this was for nothing

Marissa: we'll see.

Uh, the time has come for Da- for, okay,
again, this is what really bothers me.

This, I'm gonna, I'm gonna sta- stand up
for Kerry, for my man Kerry here, because

There's no reason, unless it's
after freaking 11 or 8, 9:00 PM

or whatever, there's no reason why
he cannot be here in this moment.

But Diane and Alicia arrive at Lockhart
Gardner, and of course it's in, you

know, they left it in shamble shape.

Uh, there's boxes everywhere,
everything like that.

They even removed the F, the
A, and the L from the keyboard,

which I thought was perfect.

Um, but Cary's nowhere to be found.

And then they walk to, like, the C-suite
part of the office, and they're looking

at these offices, and Diane says,
"Cary's okay with David Lee's office."

And I was like, on what freaking planet?

Because that is not how this should be.

If anything, Diane should be in
David Lee's office because it was

always supposed to be Alicia and
Cary are the new Will and Diane.

Like, I, I don't, I, I just, I
do not like that he's not here.

I do not like that he's
getting David Lee's office.

And then also, like, Diane goes
back to her old office, and then

there's this whole, like, Alicia's
going into Will's office thing.

And I'm like, Cary should be there.

Just put Cary there

Jason: Well, yeah, you,
you're, you're totally right.

First of all, the fact that the three
of them aren't in this space together

where at the v- at the very least
it should be Kerry and Alicia there.

Um, but yes, I'm fine with Kerry,
Alicia, and Diane being there

because it is, it is a, a interesting
moment for those characters.

And I do wonder why,
like, they, they didn't

Marissa: Unless Carrie is
like, "I don't wanna go

Jason: But not even, not even for, not
even for character or show reasons, but

just, like, logistically in real life.

Like, why, why, why did they not write
that for, for Kerry, Diane, and Alicia?

Because it's, it's a moment
for, should be a moment for

all three of those characters.

Uh, whether it's Kerry is begrudgingly
going along with this and is like,

you know, not happy, but he's back.

And that con- I would love
to see that conversation of,

like, who gets what office.

Instead of Diane just being like,
"Off s- off camera, Kerry Lago said he

would be fine with David Lee's office."
Like, ugh, that's, that's boring.

That's dumb

Marissa: A- and, and I love her.

She is my, she is my legal Dolly Parton.

Um, but Diane Diane, Diane should have
volunteered to take David Lee's office.

Diane should be supporting these younger
people in the creation of this thing.

But I can also see she's
like, "It's my building." Like

Jason: And I get Diane like, "I
want my old office back." Like, I

Marissa: Yeah, I get it, but

Jason: But yes, I do think it would
be interesting to, to toy around with

the idea of like just even, to even
further cuck Kerry a little bit and

be like, "No, Kerry, like I'm getting
my off- old office back. Alicia's

getting Will's office because, you
know, and you get Dave Lee's office."

Like I, I

Marissa: Can I just tell you,
like the, when she walks into that

office, I'm like, "They had sex over

Jason: Yep, yep.

Like, Carrie, do you wanna
be sitting in the, uh, in the

excrement of Will and Alicia?

Uh, no you don't.

Marissa: It's been cleaned.

It's been

Jason: Hopefully.

Uh, but you know, I, I, I think
that would've been an interesting

moment to watch play out, to
be like, who gets what office?

Like, you know.

And

Marissa: Or like roll for it.

Jason: and for Carrie to feel even further
isolated in this, in this moment, be

like, "You go into the offices down there.

You get David Lee's office."

Marissa: and then even more, at the
end of this episode, we have Diane in

Diane's office, and we have Alicia in
Will's office, and they look at each

other, and it's like this, "We're
doing this together," type of look.

And I'm like, where is
Cary in this equation?

This would not be happening
if it wasn't for him.

It was his idea to leave.

He convinced Alicia to leave.

He's the one who got all
this stuff to happen.

So

Jason: Not for nothing, but, uh, and
this is a total tangent and you're

gonna be mad at me for this, but as
like, as Alicia's walking to Will's

office, to Will's desk, I was like,
"Julia Harkleys, some calves. You got

some calves on that lady right there."

Marissa: は い。

あ い あ い。

That

Jason: is a, I do think it is like
a full weird full circle moment for

Alicia to be taking over Will's office.

I, I do, I do realize the weight
of that moment and the weight of

that transition from, you know, I
mean, it was Canning's office, but

from Will to Canning to now Alicia,
and it's, it's a, it's an emotional

moment for her because it's like, I'm
taking over my dead lover's office.

That's weird.

Marissa: Well, and there's even a
point in this conversation where

Diane's like, "I'll take it.

Like I'll, I'll take…" And
she, she's like, "I wouldn't

hear of it." Alicia's like, "I

Jason: I won't hear of it

Marissa: won't hear of it." But yeah,
so that's where we end this episode.

It was really, like again, the
Ellsworth stuff, super fun.

Case was kind of weird.

Uh, I'm kinda getting tired
of the Grace religion thing.

I really hope that this conversation,
like this whole thing with her weird

friend saying like, "You opened the
door," she's like, "Maybe it's a cult."

Jason: Yeah

Marissa: like maybe she starts
thinking a little bit more

critically of the situation.

Not saying that she can't like still be
a practicing Christian, but maybe she's

not so blind in the, the situation.

Jason: It does feel like we're coming
to a head on that, 'cause this is

the second time in this season,
in this, in this young season that

we are, um, you know, dealing with
Grace and her religion of it all.

Is this the second time
this season, right?

That la- the last time

Marissa: Yeah.

Jason: season,

Marissa: my God.

I just put together that her name
is Grace and she's about God.

Jason: Say what?

Maybe she is Amazing Grace.

Oh, how sweet the sound.

Marissa: Don't get him going, guys.

Jason: Uh, listen, I,
I'm in a musical mood.

You don't, you don't wanna get me started.

Um, yeah, I mean, a
very, very busy episode.

I mean, for the first, for
the first time in a while we

had three storylines happening

Marissa: Yeah, it's like 3.5 with
the Carrie and The Office stuff.

They could each be their
own if, if we had the

Jason: So a lot going on.

Uh, felt, felt more old
school "Good Wife" than it had

Marissa: Yeah, I would say,

Jason: So yeah, very, very
good episode I would say.

Um

Marissa: I think, um, having a judge like
the In My Opinion judge really kind of

anchors it back to that thing we hadn't
seen… Like you had said last episode,

we hadn't seen any of our regulars,
and it was just nice to have her back

Jason: When I look at you, I feel
like home, in my opinion, judge.

Marissa: Yeah.

In my opinion

Jason: in my opinion.

Anyway, that was our episode.

Marissa, you wanna tell the good
folks out there where they can find

you and what you're up to right now?

Marissa: Yeah, sure.

Uh, you can always find me at

itsmemerissag.com.

Uh, I have links to stuff and things.

Uh, Jason did mention ways
you can support our podcast.

Another way you can support it
is by subscribing on YouTube.

If you don't know, uh, YouTube
is changing their monetization

stuff, and subscribers do help.

Also, playing something for one
frame on YouTube counts as a view.

So if you're an audio listener and
just wanna, like, wave your mouse over

something and get it to go, that's gonna
count as a view, and that will help us

because as Jason said, uh, it does cost
some money for us to be able to do this.

And, um, we appreciate all the support
that we can get 'cause everything goes…

At this point, everything's going
back into paying for resources

and tools to make this the best
podcast it can be for all of you.

Um, so links to the YouTube are
listed at itsmemerissag.com,

and that's what's up with me.

Jason, what's up with you?

Jason: Yeah, just coming off,
uh, coming off a mess, uh,

of, of Married at First Sight.

Now we're still dealing with the
aftermath over on Patreon, over on-

at the good, at, uh, over at the A
Perfect Match podcast on Patreon.

Uh, AJ and I are still kinda digging
through the, the rubble of Married at

First Sight season 20, doing a little,
uh, post-season content over on Patreon.

Pretty soon we'll be getting
back to, uh, rewatching season

12 of Married at First Sight.

It's all Married at First Sight all the
time over on the A Perfect Match podcast.

You can check us out on Patreon.

Uh, we just came off of a, a, our,
our live podcast from Rahabcon.

Uh, Rahabcon was a big, big moment for me.

Meeting Marissa, doing
my first live podcast.

A lot of things happened over
there, so you can find that over

on the Rahab's Podcast Network
at the Love at First Sight feed.

Uh, check all that stuff out.

If you're into football at all,
I will be on the 32 Fans…

Marissa: football season

Jason: baby, let's go.

I will be on the 32 Fans podcast,
uh, f- uh, talking about the Ravens

and the, uh, outlook this season
for that t- for my team, I'll say.

Uh, so if, if football, you
like football, check that out.

It's coming out soon-ish, if it's not
already out when you listen to this.

Uh, so yeah, uh, check that
out, and, uh, that's it for me.

That's it for Marissa G.
Till next time, stay good.
