The Estherpreneur Podcast is for faith-driven founders and Kingdom leaders who know they are called to build but refuse to do it disconnected from God.
Hosted by Edna Harding, Christ-Centered Business Architect and CEO of Favor & Wealth, this podcast is where biblical wisdom meets business strategy, leadership, wealth, identity, and spiritual alignment.
Here, we talk about what it really takes to build what God assigned to your hands: obedience, clarity, sales, stewardship, emotional maturity, spiritual warfare, and the courage to come out of striving.
Each episode will help you discern what is misaligned, strengthen who you are becoming, and build with excellence, favor, and wisdom.
Because you are not just growing a business.
You are stewarding an assignment.
And the leader God is forming in you matters just as much as what He is building through you.

Edna Harding [00:00:03]:
Welcome to Estherpreneur, a podcast for entrepreneurs and leaders doing business and life God's way. Each week we discuss biblical and practical tips to improve your mind, business, spirit, relationships, and finances. Listen along as I speak with special guests on how to thrive in all aspects of life. Hi, I'm Edna. Like many of you, I wear many hats. I'm a military wife, mother, author, certified John Maxwell business and executive coach, trainer, and founder of Favor and Wealth, where we help the good guys win. So tune in as we bring on the light. Well, hello everyone.
Edna Harding [00:00:47]:
Thank you for tuning in for another episode of the Estherpreneur Podcast. My name is Edna Harding, and I'm nothing but a messenger of life. And today we are going to talk about how to create something out of nothing. Anybody out there? I know my audience. I have two audiences. I have people who have been established and have already launched their business. And you have people who are still in the idea phase where they're like, how am I going to build this thing that God put in my heart? And so if you are that person, I have some nuggets for you. And even if you already have an established business, this could be a way for you to stimulate your brain so that you create something new.
Edna Harding [00:01:33]:
So Father God, I just commit to you this day. I commit to you this time, Lord, this next 20, 30 minutes. I pray, oh God, that you will just ignite our brain. Oh God, fill us with your spirit, breathe in us with your creativity, and show us, Lord, how to build the dreams and vision you put in our hearts. Since the day we were formed. We love you. We honor you. We thank you for all these things in Jesus' mighty name.
Edna Harding [00:02:01]:
Amen. All right, my friends, I just want to first say welcome if you are new here. My name is Edna Harding, and I love to teach God's word in life and in business. And so if you are interested in that, you are in the right place, my friends. All right, so most entrepreneurs don't fail because they lack ideas. A lot of them fail because they panic when they don't have the resources. And the problem is, when you panic, it makes you freeze, it makes you overcomplicate things, and most importantly, it even make you quit. But I want you to hear me clearly, my friends.
Edna Harding [00:02:45]:
This is not a stop sign. Scarcity is not a stop sign. In fact, It's a stewardship test. And so today we're talking about how to create something out of nothing when you don't have the budget and you don't have the team, the connections, the perfect conditions, or the confidence. Because in the kingdom, there's no such thing as lack, okay? In fact, the kingdom was built on people who didn't have enough. Okay, the kingdom has always been advanced by people who were willing to obey with what they have. Okay, so this episode is for the CEO or entrepreneur who's staring at what's missing. For example, you don't have the money, you don't have the staff, you don't have a system, you don't have the audience, you don't have the energy, you don't have the time, you don't have the proof yet.
Edna Harding [00:03:42]:
And you've been telling yourself, as soon as I get more, I'll start. But let me tell you something the Lord has taught me many years ago. God doesn't need your abundance. What he needs is your agreement. Okay, so we're going to talk about the real definition of nothing. What does nothing actually mean? Because most of the time, nothing doesn't mean you literally have nothing. It means you don't have what you wish you had. It means you don't have what would make it feel safer or easier.
Edna Harding [00:04:15]:
Okay, that's what it means. You have something. You don't literally have nothing. Do you hear what I'm saying? Most people aren't waiting on provision. What they're waiting on is permission. They want life, or what they call the universe, to tell them, or God to tell them, you're safe, go ahead. But that's not what faith does. Faith doesn't wait for us to feel safe.
Edna Harding [00:04:39]:
In fact, faith moves when God said, and he— he wants you to move based on his word and not what you see in the natural, right? And in Genesis 1:2, it sets this powerful scene where it says that the Earth was without form and void. So it looked like nothing. There was no structure, no visible results, no measurable fruit or proof. And yet God didn't panic, right? He didn't call it impossible. All he did was he spoke. Genesis 1:3 says, let there be light. So please write this down. Number 1, God creates from void.
Edna Harding [00:05:19]:
He creates from emptiness. He creates from disorder. Is anybody in the building experiencing void, experiencing emptiness, experiencing disorder? Because if you're in a season where your life or business feels empty, let me tell you, my friend, you are exactly the right man or woman of God he is looking for. You're not disqualified. In fact, you're in the exact environment where God specializes. He doesn't want you to get the glory. He wants him to get the glory. And if he works with the least likely to succeed, he gets more glory, right? So let's go deeper though for a second, okay? So just bear with me.
Edna Harding [00:06:00]:
I hope you guys are still following me. When God created the world, he didn't just multiply things randomly. What he did was he created order. He separated light from darkness, He established boundaries. He put things in their place. And here's the business application. Hear me. He does not multiply chaos.
Edna Harding [00:06:20]:
He multiplies order. I'm already preaching if you're not hearing what I'm saying. Psalms 127:1 says, unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain. So some of you are working hard, but you're building without God's blueprint. So what happens? It feels heavy. It feels frustrating, right? It feels like you're pushing a car uphill, and now you think the problem is money. Okay, the answer is no, that's not the problem. The problem isn't money.
Edna Harding [00:06:49]:
The problem is the foundation. This is why Zechariah 4:10 says, do not despise the day of small beginnings, because small beginnings aren't embarrassing. In fact, small beginnings are evidence that God is building something clean. The question is, will you honor the process? Will you, will you embrace the journey or will you keep chasing shortcuts? So here's what I'm going to do. Okay, I'm going to give you a framework today that will help you create something out of nothing. Okay, and it's simple enough to do this week. Are you guys ready? All right, it's called the SEED Framework. Seed framework.
Edna Harding [00:07:32]:
Step 1: See what's in your hand. This is where most entrepreneurs wake up— may wake up, mess up— wake up. You do need to wake up away from your slumber. They keep staring at what they don't have instead of taking inventory of what they do have. Okay, you know, God asked this question, Exodus 4:2. He said, what's in your hand? Moses wanted a bigger assignment, right? But God started with what was already in his hands. So let me ask you right now, What's in your right hand? Is it your expertise? Is it your voice? Is it your ability to teach? Is it your sales skill, your story, your relationships, your phone, your time, your knowledge, your testimony, your obedience, your house, your feet? Have you ever had those like feet models? Have you heard of those? I actually know a feet model, believe it or not. Okay, back on track.
Edna Harding [00:08:24]:
Because nothing isn't nothing. It's seed, and seed doesn't look like harvest. It looks small first, it's very unimpressive, but seed is powerful when it's planted. So if you keep calling seed nothing, then guess what? You'll never plant. So what's in your hand? What's the seed? And start planting, my friends. Number 2, extract the offer. So see what's in your hand. E is extract the offer.
Edna Harding [00:08:50]:
Now here's where entrepreneurs get stuck, right? They think they need to build a whole empire to start. No, you need one clear result you can deliver, one transformation, one outcome. And here's the question: what's the simplest, most valuable outcome you can help someone achieve in 30 days? For example, I'll help you close your first 3 clients. I'll help you clean up your offer and pricing. I'll help you stop leaking money in your business. I'll help you organize your closet. I'll help you organize your desktop. I'll help you organize your sales process.
Edna Harding [00:09:21]:
I'll help you build a landing page to start booking calls. I'll help you lose weight. £10 in 90 days. Like, this is Luke 16:10 in business form. He who is faithful with little will be faithful with much. If you want to build something big, prove you can deliver something small with excellence. Your first offer doesn't need to be impressive, it just needs to be effective, my friends. Okay, it doesn't have to be like the highest ticket, it just needs to be effective.
Edna Harding [00:09:51]:
Start with what you have. Okay, number 3, number 3, letter E, S-E-E, establish minimum structure. What does that mean? This part right here is going to set people free. You don't need a whole system. You need a simpler container because vision without structure becomes frustration, right? So here's what you need. You just need one offer. You need one message, one way to get paid, one way to deliver, and one way to follow up. That's it.
Edna Harding [00:10:21]:
If you have 14 offers, 6 audiences, 9 funnels, and 3 unfinished programs, that's not creativity. That is distraction galore, and confusion doesn't scale. God is not the author of confusion, so simplify. Overcomplication is usually fear all around. So if you're overcomplicating the process, it's fear. Get the results quick. All right, number 4, deploy boldly, deploy boldly, deploy boldly. What does that mean? Stop saying I'm waiting on God, because if you have a clear offer and you're not selling, you're not waiting on God.
Edna Harding [00:11:03]:
You're actually avoiding rejection, because if you don't deploy, you don't get feedback. If you don't get feedback, you don't get improved. You don't get improved. You don't improve. If you don't improve, you don't grow. So you need visibility, and yes, you need marketing, but visibility is not just a strategy, it's a stewardship decision. Because in Matthew 5:14, it says a city set on a hill cannot be hidden. So some of you are hiding your gift because you're afraid of being seen.
Edna Harding [00:11:34]:
And I know this is a common thing for believers, okay? You're either afraid of being seen or afraid of being rejected. But if your solution is real, hiding is not humility, it's disobedience. And remember that your calling is not protected by hiding, it's actually protected by obedience. All right. All right. So seed, right? The first one is what? See what is in your hand. E, extract the offer. E, establish minimum structure, and D, deploy boldly.
Edna Harding [00:12:07]:
That's it. Now, what do you need to do over the next 21 days? Yes, 3 weeks. Here's the truth, but how you could create something out of nothing, okay? You need a 21-day run, not a 2-day burst, but 21-day run. So pick your daily actions. For example, 5 follow-ups, 1 piece of content, 1 new connection, 1 sales conversation, 1 improvement to your offer. That's it. Keep doing that on repeat for 21 business days nonstop. Okay, consistency turns seeds into substance.
Edna Harding [00:12:37]:
That's what I'm going to do. I'm trying to think of— okay, so I'm thinking of picking one program. So right now what I'm looking at is like, how do I gain more, uh, revenue, profitable revenue with a little amount of time? Because I love working with startups and I love working with smaller businesses, but the problem with that is if I depend on them to work with them, then it's it just takes a while. It takes long. Or I could just do it for them, even though I want them to learn it. They get discouraged right away because they're not seeing results. So if I do it for them, I have to charge a fee. So I'm really thinking about like this type of approach.
Edna Harding [00:13:16]:
Okay, maybe I should just focus on like a short, like 30 to 90 day turnaround and help them get that aspect, charge them what I need to be charged. And leave it like that. So I'm still praying about that, right? So that's what I'm thinking about. But my plan is once I figure out an offer, that's all I'm going to want to be focusing on the next 21 days. I'm not going to focus on anything else except that, which is why what I'm doing right now is I'm recording all the podcasts, right? I think I told you guys I'm recording all 44 podcasts for the rest of the year until the— for 3 months. So I've been consistent for the past few weeks. Every single week I've been recording 4 podcasts a week. But it's all about your daily actions.
Edna Harding [00:13:57]:
So you see, consistency, that's all God wants. He doesn't want you to be perfect. He just wants you to be consistent. All right, because I want to end with this, okay? God multiplies what you surrender. John 6 shows the story of the loaves and the fish. A boy gave what he had. It wasn't enough on paper, but it was enough in God's hand. And that's the secret of the kingdom, my friends.
Edna Harding [00:14:19]:
Your resources don't have to be big. They just have to be committed. Some of you are waiting to feel ready. Some of you are waiting to feel like, you know, it's time and you have peace and everything is, you know, the timing is right. Readiness isn't a feeling. Readiness is about being obedient, knowing that God already has gone before you and he has already paved the way. He doesn't multiply what you hoard, my friends. He only multiplies what you hand over.
Edna Harding [00:14:45]:
Okay, so I want you to answer these questions. What do you have in your hand right now? Not what you wish you had, but what you actually have. Okay, number 2: What can I build this week with what I have? A simple offer, a simple post, a simple conversation, something. Okay, number 3: What am I still waiting on that God never required? Are we waiting for approval? Are we waiting for certainty? Are we waiting for money, more money? I'm waiting for recognition. Remember that God often gives the vision and then watches how you steward the seed. So don't despise small beginnings, my friend. Don't panic and lack. Don't negotiate with fear.
Edna Harding [00:15:27]:

It's a pattern of the kingdom, and this pattern is duplicable.
Edna Harding [00:16:05]:
That's the thing about patterns. Patterns— if you have the right patterns, it'll produce the right promise. The promise of God.
