00:00:00 Speaker: Anytime, saith the Lord, my hand has been upon thee. And this night, saith the Lord, if thou wilt open thine heart, if thou wilt open thine ear to my voice, saith the Lord, thou shalt hear me speak. And behold, saith the Lord, I shall take control of thine life, and thy life shall be. Begin to make sense, saith the Lord. And the purpose of thy God shall be fulfilled in thee. This is not a time, saith the Lord, that thou hast chosen. This is a time that I have chosen by my divine appointment, that thou shouldst be here this night, saith the Lord. Take heed therefore to my voice, that thou dost obey it, saith the Lord. Right now, Lord, we just pray on that word from you. Lord, we believe as it came to my spirit. And Lord, I just thank you right now, Lord, that we have a desire in our hearts to open ourselves up to you. I pray for everyone in this meeting now, Lord, that that desire will be experienced of opening up to a mighty, wonderful, loving God and God that can deliver from heaven, and a God that can set us free from sin and give us the power over sin, and clean us up within a God that can make us whole body, soul and spirit. What a God we've got tonight, Lord. And he's in the midst of us, and he's mighty in our midst. Thank you Jesus. He's mighty in our midst. And we acknowledge the Lord that you're tonight, Lord, that you are a mighty God Almighty. Hallelujah! And so, Lord, we make again tonight your omnipotence, the measure of our expectation. We ask this and believe in Christ Jesus. Amen. You may be seated together in heavenly places. Father, we're just so thrilled that we are weak, Lord. We glory in our weakness, Lord, that we might prove your strength. We pray tonight, Lord, that you will just give wisdom and understanding in the things of the spirit that each person tonight may receive directly from thee, living by the preceding word, by the rhema of God. So, Lord, we thank you right now for what we are about to receive. Amen. God, I might as well say grace for the meal. Now, I have deliberately chosen a subject each night, and last night it was very briefly the mind. And in this area we have found that most people are either snared in bondage or depressed, or they have negative thoughts, and that we discover that unbelief was the dark room where we developed our negatives. Tonight I want to just speak briefly about wisdom. And each message will be aimed at bringing us into a victorious Christian life. Most of us have a great deal of knowledge about the provision of God, but very few of us have appropriated the provision. I'm interested, then, in people coming into the experience of the knowledge that they've got. Many of us know the facts, but it's what to do with the facts is most important. That's what's necessary. And that's what we call wisdom. Knowledge is knowing the fact. Wisdom is knowing what to do with the fact. And today, the whole church needs the wisdom of God. In the Old Testament, many great men stood out because God was with them and the result of God being with them. The wisdom of God was clearly seen in all their dealings. Now, I believe today that the church should work in the wisdom of God, should move in the wisdom of God, but they should know what is available to them. Most of us have been used to giving mental consent to what we hear. Yes, yes, yes, we know that's true. We know that's true. The fact that we don't have it in our experience doesn't seem to bother us. And most of us go through life with about twenty percent of our Christian experience really working for us. And no wonder it's hard to be a Christian. Instead of trying to keep our instead of our Christian life keeping us up, we are keeping our Christian life up. Now, I believe today that people want to live for God. There are people that have a desire for a holy, godly, upright life. There is a tremendous yearning deep down inside people for reality. They're looking for something that works. And I believe that Christ has something to offer everyone tonight in every area of their life that works. That's one good thing about the gospel of Jesus Christ. It's it works. A lot of people have found many remedies for many things, and you've got a pill labeled for that remedy. But as I said a few nights ago, that the gospel cures every symptom, every disease, and it's the remedy for everything. I believe that God did not make a mistake in anything that he did when he sent the Lord Jesus Christ. He did not dress him up so philosophically that nobody could understand him. The poor heard him gladly, and many of the simple folk understood him, because they opened up their hearts to him. And then they heard what he said. Those that had a closed heart to him didn't hear what he had to say. So it's the same with us today. A lot of us do not receive things from God simply because we are closed to him. We just want to know about him. But the Bible clearly teaches they that know their God, not about him. They that know their God shall be strong and do exploits. It's not what you know. It's who you know. Got the message. That's very good. Now, Daniel was such a person, and these great men were outstanding because God was with them. And the wisdom of God was seen in all their dealings. In Daniel chapter two. If you'd like to turn, just for a few moments, reading from verse nineteen. The reason I put a premium on wisdom is because a person like King Solomon, he put a premium on wisdom. And also the Bible teaches us. And you read this question asked in job twenty eight, verse twelve. The question is asked, what is wisdom? What is wisdom? And the answer is found in the last verse of the same chapter. What is wisdom? The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom. And I didn't quite understand that the fear of God means the reverence and respect of God. Fear not to be frightened of, but to respect and to reverence. Now the man that fears God is no fool, but the man that just fears the elements, fears the things that could happen to him is a fool. When a man fears the person behind who can change the elements and the things that happen to him, that man is no fool. So you see, many people feel the fire, but the god that makes the fire is the person to feel fear today or respect. So when you respect therefore and fear the creator, you are going beyond all things that can harm you to the person that has made all things. That's why we know clearly from Paul's writings in Romans eight verse twenty eight for all. For we know, Paul said, that all things work together for good to those that love the Lord, who are called according to his purpose, who are the called according to his purpose. So God's purpose is first and foremost, not that which is purposed against you. No matter what is purposed against you, it will work together for good. It will end up being God's purpose. Isn't that lovely? Come on now. Thank you. I thought you'd left me. Verse nineteen. And then was the secret revealed unto Daniel in a night vision. Then Daniel blessed the God of heaven. Daniel answered and said, blessed be the name of God forever and ever for wisdom and might are his. And he changes the times and the seasons. He removeth kings and set it up. Kings. He giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding. This is quite incredible that Daniel should bring this forth in his Thanksgiving. Anybody that begins to thank God they bring forth what they have found in the Lord. Have you noticed that when David thanks the Lord bless the Lord, O my soul? And then what do you get to follow and forget not all his benefits, who forgiveth all thine iniquities, and healeth all thy diseases. Once they start to talk about God as God, and then the benefits seem to flow from what he says, he reveal it the deep and secret things he knoweth what is the darkness, and the light dwelleth with him. I thank thee and praise thee, O thou God of my fathers, who hast given me wisdom and might. And this is the secret, the acknowledging of what you've got and its source that is so important today. We acknowledge that we've got it first and its source in God, in God Himself, and hath made known unto me now what we desired of thee. For thou hast made known unto us the king's matter. Uh. Verse came to my mind when I thought of this, and it was Philemon. Uh, verse six. The communication of our faith is made effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing that is in us, which is in Christ Jesus. Now, that's very difficult for most of us. The communication of our faith is made effectual by the acknowledging, as Daniel did, of every good thing that is in us, which is in Christ Jesus. The moment I started to confess that I got something, I began to experience it. I think this is really incredible, isn't it? So that you're really saying, no matter what my need might be, God has supplied it. And when I find myself in a place where I can do nothing and I am nothing, God still can be all that he is. In other words, all that I am not doesn't prevent God being all that he is. So God can do a lot with a little, but he can do everything with nothing. Amen. Now you've got the message. It's coming through. Now we've got here this great man. He was a godly man, and he did things in a wonderful way. God showed him in his wisdom how to live his life not alone, just live his life so that he was blessed. But it would affect everybody else. Now God clearly wants the church to affect the world. Isn't that true? Of course it is. We are the salt of. The earth. Amen. And if a salt. If salt has lost its savor. Well, what? What good is it? It's of no use whatsoever. Salt, therefore, is for the purpose of stopping corruption. It stops as we are the salt of the earth. And I believe when things are going bad, if you salt them, it can prevent things from going bad and all that sort of thing. You know the use of salt yourself. But can you imagine today if the church was not in the world, what state the world would really be in with no godly influence in the world? What state in the days of Noah. And you must remember, people like Noah lived a godly life before those men, and they were righteous in the sight of God, and they found grace in the sight of God. But he preached for one hundred and twenty years. A A lot of people think that God shouldn't have judged the earth, but the earth was increasing in crime and everything else. Even in those days, there were terrible things taking place. Mankind was getting worse. And so God began to rule the life of Noah. And the next thing that out of their relationship came the provision for his salvation. That was the ark. And God locked the door. It was God's ark. He locked the door. It was God's judgment. But man was free from that judgment in the provision of God because he walked with God. That was Noah and his family. And today it's just the same as in the days of Noah. These are the same days we're having people today. They are children disobedient to parents. You'll find young men are God godless. They have no they have no desire, many of them to be one with God or to know God. Many of them are going their own way and members of government also are going their own way. But amongst all of them there is the salt of the earth, preventing Satan's plan from being completely carried out so that the world might destroy itself. Mankind destroying itself, himself itself. Right here we have nation against nation. Now the church can pray effectively for a nation. A nation can't just decide what to do. Here is one man that's going to determine what this nation is going to do. Nebuchadnezzar can't do as he pleases. He and his pride begins to look at things. And he did not acknowledge God. He didn't say, look, God has given me this great Babylon. No, look at this great Babylon that I have built. And once you put I in there, I is going to be knocked out by God. The next thing, Nebuchadnezzar, ends up eating grass until he can learn to submit and acknowledge that it's God that's in control. No matter what they did against the children of God, the Hebrew children, they threw them into the fire and they intended to destroy them. But you can't destroy God's will and God's plan with fire. Fire is something that we are used to. It's a natural element to the Christian. We've got nothing that burns. Hallelujah. So when the fire comes, it's only going to burn that which binds us, which is not tried by fire. You must remember. The life that we have received has been in the fire all the way through hell. And is now in glory. So we are fireproof as well as devil proof. I don't know about bulletproof. That would make you holy as well. But the Hebrew children in the fire. Now you see the wisdom of God by allowing so many things. So we come to this conclusion what God could prevent in his power. He allows in his wisdom. Isn't it incredible? He allowed them to be thrown into the fire. He could have prevented it, but he allowed them to be thrown into the fire. And they came into fellowship with Jesus. The hottest spot. That's where you'll find the Lord when it's hottest. That's the best time to know the Lord. People who have been in terrible situations have known a measure of grace that people that that other people have never experienced because they've never been in that situation, do not. In other words, avoid persecutions. Do not avoid things that are against you. Remember, Joseph, the wisdom of God on that man's life was so perfect. Man wanted to his own family, wanted to destroy him, wanted to get rid of him. He was an eyesore, a pain in the neck. While he was around. He was a reminder that God's favor was on him and they were jealous. Now they planned effectively to destroy him. And the day came when God promoted him from jailbird to prime minister. And that's promotion. That's promotion. And there came a day when he had to face his brother and he forgave them. And he said, you meant all this for my harm, but God meant it for my good. God meant it for my good. Now I bow to the wisdom of God in His dealings, where he can take a person like Joseph, who was thrown out and then put him on the highest seat in Egypt. Now that's pretty good. That's nothing. You stay around long enough and you'll see what he's going to do with the church. He's going to take him out of the gutter. Hallelujah. Going to make him kings and priests. Get him to stand up and put their shoulders back and give him a backbone instead of a wishbone. And they're going to march and they're going to fight not each other any longer, but they're going to fight the enemy with the weapons that God has given them, and every move in their life is going to be, um, seen in every move in their life is going to be seen. The wisdom of God. Now, I want to come back to receiving and acknowledging this wisdom. Nebuchadnezzar did not acknowledge that everything came from the Lord, and he ended up with nothing, not even his own mind. And I'll say that for everyone. Any person that gets any blessing or receives any blessing as the result of, can I say this God directly, or one member of your family being godly, right with Christ, right with God, or a member of your business being godly or right with God, and you get the blessings of that business, or of that home, or of the benefits that that person is receiving from God. And you do not acknowledge that it's God that you're getting them from, but it's luck or something else, then God will deal with you as he dealt with Nebuchadnezzar. I will not give my glory to another. Nobody must touch the glory of God. But to touch the glory of God is to find yourself in real trouble. It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. That one thing that wisdom sometimes brings is a lot of, um, respect and applause. And also, it can cause you to enter into pride. Pride is an abomination in the eyes of God. It's the worst thing that you can have. Many, many people will not come to Christ because they're too proud to admit they're a sinner. The first person I led to the Lord was the wife of the Governor General of Bermuda, a titled lady. And I, I haven't got a clue. She said, well, what do I do? Well, I said, um, you're a sinner. And she asked, because I had been ministering to her, and I had brought her right this far or very close to the kingdom of God. And she said, what do I do? And I said, um, you're a sinner. Your Ladyship, I didn't say. I said, you're a sinner. Um. Um. Sinner, what do you do next? Are you going to kneel down? I said. She knelt down. And you got to ask God's forgiveness. And I just told her. Simple like that. Now that woman could have ignored me completely. That lady, she could have ignored me completely. But she didn't. She humbled herself. And I'll tell you, it's beautiful to see people that are in a high position humble themselves. That's how they got in that high position. Folks, if a man is too big to be led, he's too little to lead. That's true. You'll find also with, um, David the same thing. He had to learn to lead sheep before he could learn to lead the children. The children of Israel. And so it is. And so this woman also, she came to Christ, this dear lady. And her face was radiant. And isn't it wonderful when people get a new life? You can tell the old life has passed away and they know that they're right with God. They know their sins are forgiven, and it's wonderful to see what God can do. I'm so thrilled that God can save us today from our past, and deliver us from the present, and deliver us from the power of sin. Isn't it wonderful? If you keep on acknowledging what is wonderful, it'll become more wonderful. Do you know the first word I learned as a Christian? It's wonderful. People say what's wonderful? I don't know, but it's wonderful. You say everything is wonderful. It's wonderful. Praise God. And like, even when the day was miserable and raining and everything else, it's still wonderful. Praise God that every day is not like this. In other words, there's always something to praise the Lord for. Now I want to bring you to bring you to the New Testament. And I want to show you clearly that wisdom plays such an important part that the Lord Jesus it's mentioned of the Lord Jesus Christ. He's made unto us wisdom. Would you look first at one Corinthians chapter one, verse thirty one Corinthians, chapter one, verse thirty. Now many of us today find ourselves in some very interesting positions, and only the wisdom of God will help or get us out or allow God in. God does everything in his wisdom. Isn't that wonderful? He never does anything foolishly. He does everything in his wisdom and with the full knowledge of what he's doing. Not like we are sometimes limited, aren't he? We don't know really the outcome of the decisions that we make when we say I will. Yes. I see some of you shaking your heads. Yes. We don't really know the outcome, but only God does. And when God brings you together, you can say you can never complain about your wife. If I had a better wife, my would I go places? Yes, you certainly would. And my would you come back to. You see, God gives us a wife to stabilize us and his wisdom. He could have given us somebody. Fantastic. I must be careful here. I'm getting into hot water. Let me get away from this. I'll speak about this next week. But God gives you the right person. He gives you the right person. A person where you always need grace to live with. And I'm going to quit while I'm winning. I really feel I've lost that one. But you understand, God knows in his wisdom what he has given you. meal so you can't complain. You just praise the Lord. Because little do you know that if you got somebody else, what a mess you'd be in. So God's choice is always the best choice. God always gives you something that will last, and with a good wine, it gets better with the keeping. The only point here is if it's a bad wine, it gets worse. Right. I'll leave that subject to those. Word to the wise is sufficient. Now you must remember the background of this epistle. Paul spent a great deal of time here, some eighteen months at one spell, and some say two years to three years. But he spent a long enough to know the people. And he's also living in a very philosophical age and age when everybody is worshiping the mind, they're all at the feet of the philosophers, You see, now Paul is taking him away from the natural wisdom. And when I talk about wisdom, there are three types of wisdom. That's the natural wisdom of the world, which is foolishness with God. That's the wisdom of Satan, which is sensual. You will find that out by reading James and the wisdom of God. Now the wisdom of God cannot be understood except by the children of God. For the wisdom and the manifold wisdom of God is for the church, as we'll read in a few moments. Now, first of all, if God gives you a life and think of it this way, if God gives you a life, what does he give you? He gives you a life in wisdom, a life in wisdom. Now look at it in one Corinthians chapter one. He doesn't give you a life that is second rate. There isn't a better one. You couldn't work one up. You couldn't do anything in a better way than God can do it. Isn't it lovely to know that there isn't anybody or a computer that can find out a better way of doing things than my God? So if my life is in his hands each day, it becomes thrilling because God wants me to know more and more of his working, of his ways, so that I begin, naturally to talk like a son, to walk like a son in the wisdom of God. Wisdom is justified of all her children. The Bible says right. Thank you for agreeing with me. One Corinthians chapter one, verse thirty but of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption. But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us. Wisdom. Now, please remember, Solomon had a great deal of wisdom, but we have God's wisdom, and the wisdom of God is the Lord Jesus Christ manifested. It's Jesus. This is God's divine wisdom, revealed and manifested, and he's made unto us wisdom. Now it's quite incredible that the wisdom of God can be revealed in business, in any profession, nursing, you're a doctor, whatever it might be, the wisdom of God can be seen and understood and experienced. So there's no area where the wisdom of God cannot be revealed. And very shortly, the wisdom of God separates you from your colleagues. It separates the housewife from the unconverted housewife. Why? In a wisdom, in the wisdom of God, she can so arrange her house that her home serves her instead of enslaving her, and she has to serve the whole. I believe in such a way that it's evident the moment you walk in the door, the way things are put together, that the wisdom of God is in evidence here. Now, this is true because with Daniel, God also showed him what he must eat. And I believe in God's wisdom. He can show us what to eat as well. It's wise to eat some things, and it's not wise to eat other things. But I believe that God can show you how to control your whole life so that you're in harmony, body, soul, and spirit. It's not wise to read some things, and only God can tell you that. I remember, um, choosing things, uh, sometimes to where it's very difficult because you, you choose things in one country which are fine for that country. But when you go to the next country, they look at you. Where on earth did he get that jacket from? I just can't I can only stare at him for ten minutes and then I got to look away or something like that. So it is. But God can give you wisdom in choosing things. And it's so wonderful. And the witness of the spirit and when to shut up. This is the greatest gift you can ever have, is when to know you've said enough. Many, many preachers are led to start, but very few are led to finish. That can also be with ladies. We all have our problems and we recognize it. But the wisdom of God is such that when we deal with people, they have to admit there isn't a better way. Isn't it wonderful to know there isn't a better way when you have said something to somebody? Don't you think that's tremendous? When you tell your children to do something and you know that the Lord has led you? You know there isn't a better way. They're not going to find a better way and come back and say, dad, that was terrible. There is a better way to do it. No. I believe in everything. We're going to do things in the future, the whole church, in the best way. What we're going to do with our knowledge is going to really revolutionize all of us. God is so wonderful. He knows just what he wants you to say, and he knows who will be there to receive it. God knows all that. And so when you say something, you know there's somebody there to receive it. When he takes your conversation and brings it right around to the person's need, you think that's fantastic? Afterwards, when you hear about it and when you've been talking to somebody, you've said, oh, so many wonderful things that have answered their problems and questions. Folks, I've experienced quite a deal, a great deal of this. And it's thrilling to be a Christian today because so many of us are just plain thick. A definition of thick is not thin. That means basically you're not good at putting things together. Who's not good at putting things together? And the rest of you dishonest folk. Most of us find this very difficult. But when you know then that you have a person inside of you who you never need to question, and this is the most wonderful thing you never need to question. It's absolutely fantastic. Now, I believe there is a word of wisdom which is a gift from God. This is in line and they're married. If you like these two, the word of knowledge and the Word of Wisdom. A word of knowledge is God revealing to you supernaturally what you cannot find out with your senses. Now, it's no good having a word of knowledge if you don't know how to use it or what way to use it. God gives you the Word of wisdom. How to deal with the knowledge. Now James said, if any man lack wisdom, let him ask of God. So you can ask for this word of wisdom. Let me give you the reference in James one five and six. If you look with me, please. Now, sometimes many of us have to deal with natural things and we never think, well, God would be interested. But God wants to reveal himself in everything that you do. He wants you to become so dependent on him that you can't live without him. Isn't that wonderful? You can't live without him. Now you'll note here. In verse five, if any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, who giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not, and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith. Now this is really something. So it's not just asking, oh, Lord, give me wisdom. Thank you Lord, I haven't got it. You know, if you ask God. This is why I maintain today that most of us are too shy to acknowledge that we've got wisdom. We are too, you know, we say. We think it's being presumptuous. You can't go around saying, I've got wisdom. You don't have to necessarily go around saying it. But I believe in acknowledging what I've got in Christ Jesus. If I'm going to be effective, how can I step out in faith in something unless I believe I've got it? It's sensible, isn't it? I'm glad you admit it. So don't do it. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering, for he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea, driven with the wind and tossed. But let not that man think that he shall receive anything of the Lord. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways. So we're speaking about last night the mind. But the fact now that we have to ask in faith, and if we're wavering, we won't get it now. We need wisdom today because we are advancing. We're advancing in areas that before nothing would be said, but now a whole country's future can be changed. Did you realize that there are many, many countries in the world today that can be changed overnight because of hoops and all sorts of things happening? Um, people are are coming into revolutionary ideas now. The church today must deal very carefully with everything that they've got so that they don't keep losing ground. We don't go forward in a mad dash and pick up ten miles and then go back twenty miles. That's not God's way of doing things. So today you have to deliberately pray. If there's any doubt about a lack of wisdom in the areas where you're living, working or ministering or whatever you're going to do. Now, a lot of people have the ability of finding out a word of knowledge, but there are very few have the ability of the Word of Wisdom. What to do with that knowledge? God reveals something. You have to wait on God for the Word of wisdom. If you use that knowledge, your timing will be wrong and everything else. You must wait on the Lord so that he can give you that wisdom that's necessary. So there's no excuse for us being just plain thick. You know, there's no excuse for us when God has made provision for us, and many of us don't bother with this little gift of wisdom. We don't use it on the telephone, just reaching out to God. Now, Lord, give me a word of wisdom. And then all of a sudden it just seems absolutely clear what you should do. You shouldn't buy this at all. You should sell it. You do the opposite. And God in his wonderful way, he gives you that direct word of wisdom. It's wonderful. You can buy a thing and sell a thing at the right time. I'm talking now in every area of your life. When you should go and when you should not. Oh, I must visit this person. You have a word of knowledge now. The person is in need. When the timing must be perfect and when the timing is perfect. God has prepared the patient for the operation. Right. Thank you. Now, I want you to come back again with me, just for a moment to one Corinthians chapter two. Now, a lot of people don't know this, that the wisdom of God is also beyond the devil's ability to understand. In other words, it's higher than Satan. So when God tells you something, the wisdom of God is spiritual. Therefore it's only understood by spiritual people. And the more spiritual you are, the more you understand he that is spiritual. The Bible says discern all things in one Corinthians two fifteen. That's important. You discern all things. It says, judge it all things, but you'll find it in the margin. Or a direct translation will say, discern all things, discern it all things. So that means what you can't find out with your mind. God can reveal it to you, but you cannot find out with your mind. So a spiritual person has the mind of Christ and does things in a different way than the natural mind. Now we have Satan's wisdom and the wisdom of God revealed here. Here we have a very interesting case. Satan knows the Bible very well, better than every Christian, I would say. And he believes it. He has no problem believing it at all. The devils believe and tremble, the Bible says. Greatest believer we have is Satan. That's right. He believes this book, but he cannot spiritually interpret it. The truth is interpreted by the Holy Spirit. Now isn't that wonderful? So then he listens very carefully to people that have got some truth. He listens to them, there's no doubt about it. And then he tries to counteract it or counterfeit it. So when he sees a move of God, he quickly counterfeits it, and you notice he's either just behind the move or right up with it. He's very close to it, I can assure you. And you remember Moses down in Egypt? You do. When Moses arrived down in Egypt, and Aaron threw down the rod and it became a serpent, the the Egyptians also could produce a serpent. So Satan was up to date. You understand what I'm trying to say? All right. With the occult today, the same all sorts of things. Now the church is coming into a new realm of the Holy Spirit, where all these things that they've heard of before can now come into their experience. And the wisdom of God. Now, coming back to the church, we are walking then the way that God wants us to walk. Now, I believe many of us fall, but I'm not so much interested in the falling as in the walking. Some people study the fall, and when you meet them, they can tell you exactly how they fell, how long they were down, and what they saw when they were down. And about two hours later you'll get away. You're all knowing how. What a big fall they had. Well, I don't think it's necessary from that point of view to study your problems so you know more about it than the solution. I think if you just seek the Lord and study the solution, you'll find that the problem becomes microscopic. It's good to have a devil that's microscopic so you can find him. It's even better if he can find you. I think that's really wonderful. Don't you think so? Now let me see. Where could. Where would God hide you? Where's the best place he can hide you in wisdom. Satan can't get at you every time he attempts you one step ahead of him. Now, if he. If you. If you had only done it this way. He said I could have caught him, but he did it that way, so there's no way of getting at him. If Jesus only answered the question this way, I'd have got him. See all these boys? I got these Pharisees and scribes and Sadducees. They didn't believe in the resurrection. That's why they were Sadducees. And why wouldn't you be? And they all sort of planned to catch him, but they didn't know they were being influenced by Satan and they had their question. But the answer put him in a very difficult position, didn't it shut him up? That's the sort of answers we've got. So Satan has a real problem because God has hidden us in the righteousness of Jesus Christ. He's hidden us in the wisdom and he's hidden us in the sanctification. We are hidden out of reach in Jesus Christ. Can I give you a Scripture for that are hidden in Christ? Oh yes, you are dead. Sorry about that one. Um. Colossians three verse three, you are dead and your life is hid with Christ in God. You know that was that. Your life is hid. No wonder Satan's had a problem finding you. You see what I mean? When you're in God's will, he can't touch you. Anything that he attempts to come against you with will automatically work together for your good. Your reaction will determine whether it works together for good, by the way. Hallelujah! React brightly. Now here you have the devil with his master plan to destroy the last Lord Jesus Christ. He came against Jesus personally. And please remember this. He came against Jesus personally. And Jesus got won a personal victory over Satan in the wilderness. And he won a victory for you and me over Satan on the cross. So now Satan is put in his place. He so Satan doesn't doesn't attack him directly, but indirectly and even through people that were very close to him, through Peter even. Get thee behind me, Satan! That wasn't a very nice thing to say, but you understand how far Satan will go to trip you right up to the very wife, or up to the closest person he can get to at that time. Believe you me, he's a robber and a thief and a liar. And I don't like him. That's my personal opinion anyway. But now he gives up. In this sense, he's got to destroy the life of Christ before the people. He's got to show him up. He's got to do something. And so Satan's plan was really perfect. Nothing could go wrong. He got all the people with him. He got the government with him, everybody. Everything was going his way. There was just one thing he hadn't taken into account. That he, in his plan, was fulfilling God's plan. And boy, did it upset him. We're going to read how it was done just right now in wisdom. One Corinthians chapter two. Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect. Now listen to it carefully. Yet not the wisdom of this world, nor the princes of this world. That's the other two types of wisdom that came to nought. But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery. Even the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the world unto our glory. And this is the time now which none of the princes of this world knew. For had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. That's the biggest boob Satan ever did. I don't like saying putting it that way, but I can't think of another word. The biggest boob. His plan went so well. Then it backfired. That's why he's having problems. Now Satan plans. Then according to his own wisdom, so does man. But when God plans, he plans. Perfect. The only wisdom, therefore, that is perfect is God's wisdom. And tonight I wanted to encourage you that the presence now of the Holy Spirit means one thing, that God now is going to do everything according to his own will and his plan in us and through us. God's going to do everything. Not you. God's going to do everything. So in other words, it's going to be God inspired. You're going to be empowered with the spirit. You're going to be directed by the spirit. You're going to receive a word of knowledge. You're going to receive the power to speak it and a word of wisdom. In other words, it'll be God. In the last days, the Holy Spirit will take over completely, and Jesus Christ will not have a prominent place. He'll have the preeminence. Folks, this is the day when the head of the Body of Christ, the head of the church, who is the wisdom of God and the wisdom of the church, is now in his rightful place, acknowledged as the head is now directing the plan and purpose of God for these last days. And what a plan God has got. What a plan, folks. The church is no longer running from Satan, hiding or dodging. We are walking all over him. Sickness is being healed. Sickness that he was so confident could cripple people and put God in a place where what? What was impossible with man was to heal was also impossible with God. But now the impossible is coming forth. People are having parts of their body restored. We prayed for a lady and God healed her broken neck. That was one thing we prayed for another lady who has had her nose structure, all of it removed. I prayed for her just a few months back. All, all. No structure, just the nostrils here, all the rest of the bone, the whole lot. And she was fat and she couldn't breathe through her nose. There's nothing to breathe through. And after prayer she began to breathe just as good as you and me. It nearly brought the roof down in a very stately church in Oslo, in Norway. But it was so wonderful just to see her face. It was a miracle. It's impossible. And people with new eardrums being recreated, people hearing for the first time and children and legs growing one three and a half inches. These things are not psychological. They're gone beyond that level altogether. This is God moving in these last days, and God coming in and putting a mind that is deranged, putting it in divine order, God cutting a person off from the past, fears and the past are, if you like, encounters with Satan. So that when God sets us free from Satan, he really sets us free. Hallelujah! The day that the man is freed from his past to live in the present, in the leading of the Holy Spirit, in the power of God, in the presence of God, that man is really free. Most of us need deliverance from our past from some sort, because we are not appropriating what God has provided for the present. What has God provided? We make mistakes and we make mistakes and we make mistakes. We don't have to go on making mistakes, folks. The Lord Jesus Christ didn't make mistakes, but he made a lot of things. But they weren't mistakes. I praise God. The Bible teaches us in one John chapter two, verse six, you ought to walk even as he walked. Let us pray. I have a question to ask that only you can answer. In a few moments I'm going to be praying for people. Who will stand up because they want to be right with God, and they want me to pray for them. The question that I want to ask you is this. Who is running your life? If God is running it, the evidence is clearly seen. The fruit of the spirit. Peace of mind. You bring peace and joy to the lives of others. You bring healing. You bring happiness. You bring help. Is your life a living epistle? Read of all men? For we know that this world does not read its Bible, but they read their Christian, and God has given them something to read. Who is running your life? You, the devil or God? If God is not running, you may think you are, but you're doing the devil's work. You find that your desires are base and they're crude. You'll find also habits ensnare you. When Jesus Christ comes into your life, he sets you free. He really does. Now, tonight, if you are not right, if you are running your own life and you'd like to give over to the Lord Jesus Christ, I'm going to ask you in a few moments just to stand where you are, just to stand where you are. If you're in other words, if you don't know why you're here in this world or where you're going, God is not running your life. He certainly knows where you're going. Jesus came that you might know. Not think, hope, wish but know. Hallelujah. If your life is a mess and you think you've gone too far in anything. I've got news for you. You need God tonight. And he can clear it up. And you. Nobody goes too far from God or in anything, but God can put right. So I'm asking everyone right now who wants to be right with God to stand just where you are? Don't be ashamed to do so. Just stand up and I'm going to pray for everyone that stands up. You're deliberately standing, acknowledging that you need God to run your life tonight, and you need the wisdom of God in how your life should be run. There are two people that are standing. Would you remain standing, please? Three. Four. Five. Six. There are quite a few people standing. Now, this is the Holy Spirit just speaking to you. And you've opened up your life to him tonight. Now remember this. You can't give him some of your life. You must give him all of your life. And in every area that he comes into, you will have his wisdom. You'll have his power and his understanding. You will be enabled to do that job better or the best. And also, you will have that wonderful peace that will keep your mind. Now there are two, four, six, eight, ten, twelve, fourteen, sixteen people standing. And I'm going to pray now for all those that are standing. And please, if you are having a war inside, that's you in control or Satan. Now you give him a good boot out by standing up. If you're not under God's control tonight, if it's fear inside, that's still Satan. God has not given us the spirit of fear. You stand up and God will get rid of your fear for you. I'm going to pray for those that are standing now. And still people standing. I just want you to close your eyes now and listen carefully to my prayer. Dear father, we just thank you for stretching out your loving hand to each person in this meeting. We thank you, Lord Jesus, for coming and dying on the cross for every person so that they personally might receive your forgiveness. So as we bring them to you tonight, Lord Jesus in faith, believing him that cometh unto me, you will in no wise cast out. You said, Lord, we believe that we bring each one believing you now, Lord, that you forgive them, Lord, and cleanse them, and wash them clean as they repent of their sin, Lord, and turn from it. Turn from their old life, and believe you for a new life tonight. Oh, thank you Lord. Thank you Jesus. And I'll thank you in your heart for forgiving you. Forgive yourself. Grace is grace. You can't make it any more grace. It's perfect. You can't add anything to it to make it perfect. Grace is grace. And you magnify the grace of God by accepting immediate, immediately forgiveness. Now ask the Lord Jesus Christ to come into your life. Ask him in right now. Say, Lord, come into my life now and take over my life. Run my life from this moment so that my life will not be ruined and destroyed by me, but it will be used by you to bring others into a knowledge of your salvation. Take my life now, Lord. Let it be Consecrated Lord to thee. Take it, Lord. And thank you, Lord Jesus, for coming into my heart right now. This is scriptural. The Bible teaches us. That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith. So thank him for coming in. Now just thank him. Thank you Lord. And now, Lord, we turn them over to you, trusting you, Lord, that you'll never leave them nor forsake them, and give them a desire to go deeper with you in the baptism and the Holy Spirit. Lord. Thank you, Lord, for answering my prayer. In Jesus name, Amen. You may be seated. If you need any further counseling, please, if you need any help to talk over with somebody or to pray personally with somebody, would you please come up and see one of us afterwards. There's, um. When Mr.. Mr. Win fountain or standing. Sitting. Sorry, would you just stand up a moment, please? There's a gentleman there. There's David Fraser over here. You see this other young man about my age? He's there. And there's the Reverend Boniface behind. And there's quite a few ministers here who would be very glad to counsel with you if you're of their denomination, or you'd just like to be counselled by somebody who's experienced in the Holy Spirit. Now, it's very important that you don't leave without everything being put right. So if you'd like prayer with any one person, um, it's important that you're prayed for, right? Just indicate it to us, and we'd be very glad to pray. Now, Isn't God good? And if you have no place of fellowship, every person should have a place where they worship or they have fellowship. Please see one of us afterwards and we can recommend a place somewhere. To go to be with the Lord before the morning. You'll be guaranteed a place of eternal fellowship. But if you're still on Earth, there is a several fellowships. Would love to have you at churches with the ministers sympathetic and loves the Lord. Right? Bless you all. Are you glad you're saved? Amen. I'm just going to pray for you. If you say amen like that again. You're glad you're saved. Amen. Amen. Amen. Isn't it wonderful to know who's running your life? Amen. What a planner. Have you seen the universe? Anything out of place up there? Amen. Hallelujah. My father did that. I love. I love boasting about him. Greatest mathematician has ever been. Put everything in divine order and do the same in your life, in your home and your work and your business. He's like that. He is wonderful, isn't he? Amen. I think he's wonderful. I'm only just. I'm just finding out. Anybody else got the same father? Praise God. Isn't our father wonderful? Amen. Oh. He's wonderful. Isn't it lovely to come home? You know, when we come to Christ, it's like coming home, isn't it? Now, this is where I belong. You stop searching. You know, you stop seeking and wondering. You now know you've arrived in him. It's so wonderful to be complete, isn't it? We're going to just stand and sing. And while we're doing so, I'm going to come down. And then I'm going to begin to pray for the sick. I will close this meeting at ten o'clock.
