on the video follow up.

So first, let's break down
the, what is a video follow up?

A video follow up is a way for you to
do this face to camera in a personal,

short, fast-paced video to your customers.

So when they open it, they get to see
you, read your body language, hear

your voice, and have a way that's a
little bit more personal than just

getting an email cuz everyone sends
email and everyone sends text messages.

Now a free tool to use
is this one, it's called.

Now here's the cool thing.

Let's pretend that I have a homeowner
who I didn't close on the spot.

They emailed me some questions about the
contract or the agreement that we can.

What I can do is either just answer
them or leave them a voicemail.

But what if I did both?

What if I did a personal video message,
guiding them through everything,

getting a chance to resell them while
separating myself from the competition

and it doing this is just wild.

So I'm gonna show you exactly
how to do that, how to use it in

email, and how to use it in text.

By the way, Use Loom has a mobile
app, so you can do this right from

your phone, in your truck, and in the.

And we're gonna close with that perfect
way to know exactly when to follow up.

You're gonna love it.

All right.

I'm use Loom.

You'll notice up here, and I
have a Google Chrome extension.

That little due battery is the extension.

So what I'm gonna do is click on this.

It's gonna pop up a.

Option.

I can use my face on the screen.

I could have the proposal in the
background and I can walk through

and say, Hey, highlighting certain
things, reminding them of certain

areas about their upgrade options.

But for this one, we're just
gonna go full screen and I

wanna show you how this works.

I'm gonna hit start recording.

Camera's going, I'm bringing this around.

Look, you're filming
this, you're filming that.

And I'm gonna say, Hey.

Uh, Peggy, thank you so much for the
opportunity to meet with you and your

husband to talk about your roofing needs.

Now I understand you have two
other contractors coming out on

Wednesday and Thursday next week.

So what we'll be doing as discussed
is I'll be showing up on Thursday at

2:00 PM to go through the agreement
with you, both of them side by side.

Take a look at all the
different estimates.

I'll be the question
punching bag, and help you.

Even if it's not with me.

So if you have any questions in the
meanwhile, go ahead and text or call me.

You've got my contact info in that email
and I cannot wait to hear from you.

gonna do is paste the link.

Boom.

Animated gift shows up.

And by the way, it wasn't in focus
cuz I confused my camera, but

animated gift shows up in that email.

When a homeowner sees that, what are you
gonna do if you see that in your email?

And by the way, you can even
hyperlink the text, say, Hey,

watch this video I made for you.

But the key thing is just to let
them know, you made that video.

Watch this video I made for you.

Now you pop, send boom.

This goes to that customer.

They get the subject line.

Hey, watch this video I made for
you with the personal video message.

What do you think they're gonna.

They're gonna pop into that.

And let me ask you this, Is
the next person doing that?

No.

So now you've just stood
apart and you were different.

You delivered a message,
you controlled the dialogue.

They could read your
face and body language.

You reminded them of the next appointment.

And by the way, I just jumped into
some role play and whipped that up.

And I, I didn't even
keep track of the time.

So if I messed up the time
of my follow up, you get the

idea for this demonstration.

Now, the cool thing is in
Loom, some of the settings will

allow me to have what we call.

Read receipt, which means when Peggy
on the other end clicks this link

that I just emailed her and watches
the video, boom, you get an instant

notification saying, uh, someone just
watched the video and then the title.

If I said, Peggy watches
video, I made for you.

I know it's Peggy, which means this is a
great time for me to text or call Peggy.

I just so happen to know that she
just watched my video moments ago.

And then what happens is Peggy
answers the phone and she

goes, Oh, it's too funny Adam.

I was just watching your video.

And I go, Huh, how about that?

Look at that timing.

So there you have it, the video follow up.
