So, why are tech companies making such a big deal out of artificial intelligence? Well, in many ways, the tech industry has kind of run its course on all of the things that it's already been able to do. Things like Google and search and um different algorithms. So, in order for tech companies to continue to grow, they have to have something new. Artificial intelligence is that thing. They're pushing real hard to make sure that it works, to make sure that the processes are viable. This is their kind of last chance to make sure their companies still grow because most of the technology for things tech like the internet and social media have already been worked out.

A lot of the internet tech companies, even social media, are actually declining in value. So, this is their way of making their companies worth more. So, you're going to see more artificial intelligence creeping into everyday society. And you see this article talks about AI agents. An AI agent is kind of like a of a a fake person that's created that does tasks. It figures things out. It takes notes. It makes decisions. And this is where all the tech companies are trying to put AI agents into place in their workflows.

What that's going to do is maybe make the the tools better for you as a consumer, but it's going to hurt employment because without h without needing as many employees in a company, you're going to have less people being employed and um a lower uh job rate. One of the things that some of the professionals are starting to say is you don't need to learn coding anymore. Remember back 10 years ago when there was some decline in the economy, some politician said learn how to code, learn how to be a coder. Well, now they're saying, "Don't bother because you're not going to need coders. AI is going to take over that role."
