Okay. Okay. Think, Zucky. Think. It was right here yesterday.
Zaki:My lucky feather, the most important feather in my collection. Gone. I need it for the flocks gathering and now I look like a bird brained fool. Oh no. Oh no no no, not now, not today.
Zaki:Please tell me that's just a really big pigeon.
Seagull:Mornin' Zaki. Fancy meeting you here. What are you up to, Digging for treasure or just making a mess?
Zaki:No. No treasure. Just, important bird business. Yes. Very serious bird stuff.
Zaki:You wouldn't understand. Lots of charts and, feather protocols.
Seagull:Feather protocols. Sounds official. Did they involve losing something important?
Zaki:Maybe. Okay. Fine. I lost my lucky feather. Happy now?
Seagull:Relax, Zucky. But you better hurry. The flock's waiting. A promise is a promise. Right?
Zaki:Exactly. A Hoopoe always keeps a promise with or without a lucky feather.
Zaki:Meraj Digital presents, The Amazing Stories with Zaki the Hoopoe. Episode 15, prophet Yahya and the promise.
Zaki:Salam. Salam, my wonderful friends. It's me, Zaki, your favorite Hoopoe bird. I'm so happy you're here today. Have you ever made a promise? Maybe to help your parents, share your toys with a friend, or even finish your homework on time.
Zaki:Promises are very special. Do you know why? A promise is like a tiny seed you plant in someone's heart. When you keep it, it grows into something big and beautiful like trust, love, or happiness. It shows people that they can count on you just like you can count on them.
Zaki:And you know, promises aren't just for kids. Grown ups make them too. Have you ever noticed how your parents might promise to take you to the park or get you your favorite treat? And even when it seems like they're super busy somehow, they always come through. Sometimes it feels like a little miracle, doesn't it?
Zaki:Now, speaking of promises, let me tell you about someone who showed us just how powerful they can be. His name was prophet Yahya, peace be upon him. And he made a promise to Allah that changed everything. So fluff your feathers and get comfy. It's story time.
Zaki:Long ago, in a peaceful town surrounded by rivers and hills, a baby boy was born to prophet Zechariah and his wife. They named him Yahya. And from the moment he was born, it was clear he was no ordinary child. While other kids were busy playing, Yahya spent his time learning, helping others, and being the kindest boy in town. Can you imagine someone so kind that everyone wanted to be his friend?
Zaki:Yahya's parents taught him to love Allah and live a life of truth. And Yahya didn't just listen, he lived it every single day. Even as a young boy, he always kept his promises no matter how small. When Yahya grew older, Allah gave him an important mission, to remind people of their promises to Allah. Yahya was chosen to guide them back to kindness, honesty, and worship of Allah alone.
Zaki:But it wasn't easy. Many people had forgotten Allah and were more interested in wealth and power. They didn't want to change their ways and some even mocked Yahya for his message. Imagine trying to tell someone something so important and they just laugh at you. But Yahya didn't give up.
Zaki:He spoke with wisdom and love reminding people that Allah's mercy was always there for those who returned to him. Yahya's message started to touch hearts. Some people began to change, realizing that keeping their promises to Allah could bring them true peace. As prophet Yahya continued his mission, his honesty and dedication to Allah's message upset a powerful ruler. This ruler wanted Yahya to approve something that was very wrong and unfair.
Zaki:Yahya knew it was against Allah's laws, so he refused. He stood tall and brave even when the ruler threatened him. The ruler became angry. So angry that he decided to stop Yahya from speaking forever. But Yahya's courage didn't waver.
Zaki:He knew that standing up for truth and keeping his promise to Allah was the right thing to do. Even though
Seagull:Yahya's life on Earth came to an end, his
Zaki:story didn't stop there. Life on Earth came to an end, his story didn't stop there. His bravery inspired countless people to remember Allah and stay true to their promises. Yahya showed us that living with honesty and faith is the greatest way to honor Allah. Yahya's courage teaches us something very special.
Zaki:Keeping our promises to Allah isn't always easy, but it's always worth it. Even when things get hard, we can remember Yahya's story and find strength to do what's right. And do you know what? Yahya's story reminds me that even small promises like helping a friend or being honest can make a big difference in the world. What promises will you keep today?
Zaki:Next time, I'll tell you a story of a very special prophet. Actually, it's about when he was a baby. It's more of a story about his mother and his sister, and a river. I've said too much. I'll leave it at that. Until then, remember to keep your promises and stay as brave as prophet Yahya. Salam.
