What is Gospel Portions?

Reminders of the gospel that was preached to you, which you received, in which you stand, and by which you are being saved, that you may hold fast to the word preached to you.

Ryan Bush:

I call upon you, for you will answer me, oh God. Incline your ear to me. Hear my words. Wondrously show your steadfast love, oh savior of those who seek refuge from their adversaries at your right hand. Keep me as the apple of your eye. Hide me in the shadow of your wings from the wicked who do me violence, my deadly enemies who surround me. Psalm 17:6-9.

Ryan Bush:

Lo, the good shepherd, for the sheep is offered. The slave hath sinned, and the son hath suffered. For man's atonement, while he nothing heedeth, God intercede. For me, kind Jesus, was thy incarnation, thy mortal sorrow, and thy life's oblation, thy death of anguish and thy bitter passion for my salvation. Therefore, kind Jesus, since I cannot pay thee, I do adore Thee and will ever pray Thee. Think on Thy pity and Thy love unswerving, not my deserving. Johan Hermann.
