Gameweek twenty-six is now complete, and we're looking ahead to a massive slate of fixtures starting Saturday. Let's hit the news bulletin fast.
First up, Chelsea duo Palmer and Cucurella missing recent cup action has raised eyebrows. Palmer wasn't rested for rotation, he's fully fit and flying after twelve points against Leeds. West Ham's Bowen also sat out midweek, but no injury concerns for either player heading into Gameweek twenty-seven.

Liverpool face Nottingham Forest away in Gameweek twenty-seven, and while Forest's home form is solid, Liverpool's defense has conceded just once in their last two. Eight clean sheets this season tells you Virgil is consistent. At under six million for a premium defender who takes attacking positions, he's excellent value. Sixty-seven thousand transfers in show the market agrees.
Number one: Semenyo from Manchester City at seven point nine million pounds, forty-nine percent owned. Essential verdict. Another week, another double-digit return. Goal and assist against Fulham for fourteen points, taking him to thirteen goals and six assists this season. City face Newcastle at home on Saturday, a fixture where Semenyo has seven point one expected points. Newcastle's defense is leaky on the road, conceding three to Spurs last week. One hundred and thirty-four thousand transfers in make Semenyo the most popular buy, and rightfully so. Nearly fifty percent ownership means not having him is differential in the wrong way. Essential purchase.

Number three: Rogers from Aston Villa at seven point six million pounds, thirty percent owned. Hold verdict. Just two points against Brighton isn't ideal, but eight goals and five assists this season shows quality. Villa face Leeds at home in Gameweek twenty-seven. Leeds shipped three goals to Chelsea, and Rogers has four point eight expected points. Fifty-seven thousand brought him in, thirty-nine thousand shipped him out. The fixtures turn after this week, but one more game at home against struggling Leeds makes this a hold, not a sell. Villa need goals, and Rogers provides them.
Number two: Bruno Fernandes from Manchester United at nine point eight million pounds, thirty-six percent owned. Wait verdict. Two points in the draw with West Ham looks poor for nearly ten million pounds. United face Everton away on Monday night, always a tough fixture. Bruno has six goals and twelve assists, so the output is there, but nine point eight million is premium money for inconsistent returns. Fifty-four thousand in, twenty-nine thousand out. If you own him, wait for the Everton game. If he blanks, sell. If you don't own him, wait and see. Better value exists elsewhere.
Number one: Matheus Fernandes from West Ham at five point five million pounds, zero point four percent owned. Sell verdict if applicable. Three points against United from ninety minutes isn't terrible for a budget midfielder, but with just three goals and three assists all season, he's not an FPL asset. Four thousand transfers in suggests some managers are chasing five point five million enablers, but better options exist. If he's in your squad as bench fodder, fine. If he's starting, upgrade immediately. West Ham face Bournemouth at home, but Fernandes isn't the one to target.

Milenković from Nottingham Forest. Five point one million pounds, three percent owned. Six points with a clean sheet against Wolves shows defensive potential. Forest face Liverpool at home in Gameweek twenty-seven, tough on paper, but Forest's home record is strong with six clean sheets this season. At just over five million, he's a budget defender who plays every week.
Madueke from Arsenal. Six point eight million pounds, one point five percent owned. Eleven points against Brentford with a goal, clean sheet, and three bonus points. Arsenal face Spurs in the North London derby on Sunday. Madueke has played sixty-nine minutes, suggesting he's working into Mikel Arteta's plans. Two goals and one assist this season isn't explosive, but at six point eight million with Arsenal's fixtures turning, he's worth a punt.
Captaincy pick for Gameweek twenty-seven: Semenyo all day long. Manchester City at home to Newcastle, seven point one expected points, thirteen goals this season, and nearly fifty percent ownership means captaining him is safe and smart. Newcastle conceded three to Spurs and City are ruthless at home.
One key tip: Don't overthink the Chelsea double-up. Palmer and João Pedro both delivered in Gameweek twenty-six, and with Burnley at home next, doubling up on Chelsea attack is low risk, high reward. Chelsea have scored in every home game, and Burnley's defense is porous.
