Future Sight with Capgemini Invent

What are the causes of the global food waste crisis? And what can both businesses and consumers do to change it?

Show Notes

Almost 2.5 billion tons of food waste goes uneaten every year. With some 870 people across the globe malnourished, clearly, this is one of the most pressing problems faced by society today. But what are the causes of this? And what can both businesses and consumers do to change it? In this episode of Future Sight, we take a look how modern changes to consumer consciousness and new trends and innovations across the food industry could provide the answer.

This week, host Liz Lugnier takes us on a journey to find out the key issues behind global food waste, speaking to experts from across Capgemini to explore not only the challenges for change, but the most exciting tech and data driven solutions.
