Noon Hour Of Madness & Mayhem

This week on The Noon Hour of Madness & Mayhem, Peaches and Viktor Wilt accidentally spend an entire episode realizing they're becoming responsible adults—and neither one seems thrilled about it. Peaches gives an update on his GLP-1 adventure, including dizziness, step counts, healthy fast-food orders that sound suspiciously like punishment, and the terrifying arrival of a new bathroom scale. Meanwhile, Viktor reveals he's cutting back on alcohol, monitoring his blood pressure, and preparing for a Yellowstone getaway where he absolutely does not plan on wrestling bison (probably).

The conversation somehow spirals into addiction, fitness goals, fast-food temptation, becoming "that guy" who orders salad on purpose, and whether Viktor is mentally ready for the possibility of becoming Grandpa Wilt before he hits 45. From there, things get even stranger as the guys debate why metal fans lose their minds whenever bands evolve, why Morgan Freeman has spent an entire career playing the smartest person in every room, and why Hollywood refuses to cast him as a complete moron for once. Toss in stories about unexpected pregnancies, movie surprises, Ghost, AC/DC, black metal cave recordings, and Peaches' future plans to become a screaming metal vocalist, and you've got one of those episodes that somehow starts with step counters and ends with Morgan Freeman joining Scary Movie. If you enjoy conversations that make absolutely no effort to stay on a single topic for more than five minutes, you'll probably want to hear this one all the way through—and if it makes you laugh, a review helps more than Morgan Freeman narrating your life.

What is Noon Hour Of Madness & Mayhem?

The Noon Hour Of Madness & Mayhem can be heard live on KBEAR 101 weekdays at 12pm MST. Viktor and Peaches talk about a wide variety of topics depending on the day and you never know what to expect!

[upbeat music] The noon hour of Madness and Mayhem, the podcast.

Why isn't it Friday, Peaches?

Well, it's pre-Friday.

I guess so.

I-

That's better than not pre-Friday. [clears throat]

But I also feel better after taking yesterday off. Not, not to rub it into your face or anything, but-

Well-

I did take two naps yesterday.

Oh, two?

Yeah.

Not just one, but two.

I, I barely moved. Um, I, I've been keeping track of my steps-

Yeah, you mentioned that

... and, and, uh, I had a total of like 1,600 yesterday.

[laughs]

And that was including everything from walking around here, or hobbling around here I should say. Um, today I might do another walk around the Greenbelt. I think I'm feeling well enough for it again.

All right. What are you just having your phone keep track or-

Yeah. You have the health app.

Okay. I, I haven't set that up on my phone 'cause I don't wanna know how, you know, few steps I take in an average day. [laughs]

Well, what's even worse is I- our, our insurance allows us to get a free, um, a free weight management kit.

Yeah.

And I just got it in the mail, uh, two days ago.

Oh, like the scale and everything?

It's the scale and the blood pressure monitor.

See, they didn't send me a blood pressure monitor.

Well, mine-

I actually just bought ... Oh, do you have one already?

I, I have it. No, I-

Well, oh, no, actually, I, I, I was gonna say, uh, before you mentioned that, I just bought one and it showed up like a few days ago.

Okay, good.

'Cause I'm trying to, uh ... You know, my blood pressure had been a little bit up the last few months. And so I was like, well, if I stop drinking booze, maybe that will help.

Right, yeah.

And so I checked it last night, and it was in a normal range. So that's good.

Well, good for you.

That's good.

Yeah. That's awesome.

Yeah, and that's, you know, why I'm going out of town this weekend. I'm gonna go hide in the woods. I mean, I'll still be around tons of people.

Are you gonna be doing a Rocky training montage?

That's right. I'm running down the, the trails packed with bison and bears in Yellowstone. [laughs]

Wrestling them all?

That's right. I'm gonna take 'em on. Yeah. I don't know. I bet it's gonna be a zoo, the park. M- now, note to everybody, Yellowstone Park is not an actual zoo.

Well, there was somebody in the Life in Idaho Falls Facebook group that was encouraging people to go pet the bison.

[laughs]

If they're from out of town or out of the country-

What? [laughs]

... they were like, "Please, just go up to them and pet them. They love it."

Well, I would assume that most people from out of the area aren't members of the Life in Idaho Falls group, so you, you should probably go post that in like the Yellowstone group. You know?

[laughs]

Somewhere where somebody from outside of here, outside of Idaho Falls might see it. 'Cause not even most people in Pocatello are gonna see it. You know? The only people, for the most part, who join those groups are people who live in Idaho Falls.

There are like 100,000 people in that group-

Yeah

... so who knows? But-

I, I mean, I'm sure ... Yeah, I'm not saying everybody. But for the most part, it's Idaho Falls people.

Going back to that whole scale thing, I, I'm, I'm really worried about stepping on it 'cause I don't wanna see the number yet.

Oh, yeah.

'Cause I, I, I'm petrified that I'm gonna still see a number that I hate, and I'm just gonna work myself to death, uh, like w- walking around the Greenbelt 'til I puke.

[laughs]

Kinda ... I already did something that I'm not gonna say on the air.

Okay. You can tell me off the air.

But I'll, I'll tell you off the air. But i- i- it's not healthy, what I d- [laughs] what I did.

Peaches.

I hope you're right.

And you've given me so much grief over the years when I'm like, "I just don't eat breakfast."

No.

You're like, "You need to eat breakfast."

I eat breakfast. What are you talking about? I had a yogurt with blueberries, a banana, and a protein shake.

[laughs]

Come on.

I still don't eat breakfast.

I think the reason why I was so dizzy yesterday is because I took, uh, double the amount of the GLP-1.

Oh, yeah. W- were you supposed to do that?

Uh, yeah. They say after four weeks-

Okay

... you increase the dosage.

Oh, okay.

I'm not just magically ... I, I'll choose this number.

[laughs] I just thought you were like, "It isn't working fast enough. I'm gonna jab myself multiple times." [laughs]

And now me and Jeff, Jeff from down the hall, he'll be doing, uh, weekends here soon. Oh, is it this weekend?

This weekend.

This weekend.

Jeff making his debut on KBEAR Saturday and Sunday, 3:00 to 8:00 PM. And, uh, he'll be hosting For Locals as well. We got some new music on the show.

Oh, fantastic.

So it'll be good.

Love that.

But, uh, well, I'm, I'm glad you're not feeling all dizzy. I mean, I've noticed because, uh, you know, cutting out booze, I've cut out lots of calories. [laughs]

Yeah.

So man, have I been hungry lately. [laughs]

Well, if you take that GLP-1, I can tell you right now you won't crave anything.

Ah.

I- it's like

you'll, you'll get to lunchtime, you're like, "You know what? I'll have a small salad," and you become that guy.

Well-

I went to a, I went to a particular fast food place yesterday, but the thing is, is that when you go to a fast food place, you have to know what to order, and this place is like considered healthy fast food.

Okay.

And I, I got their, their Baja Bowl with no tort- [laughs] no tortilla strips, no cheese. Like just straight up extra chicken, lettuce, pico, guacamole for the healthy fats. I was ... The only reason I got-

No dressing?

I, I got the roasted green chili sauce. It's the one with the fewest calories, okay?

[laughs] I love it.

Come on, I'm, I wanna add some flavor.

Okay. Yeah.

But you gotta power the, the ... See, my, my,

my, my system is a whole lot bigger than everybody else.

Yeah, I know.

So I need to have more food, but at the same time, my food has been everything that's b- that's essential. They d- they tell you when growing up, they're like, "Oh, you gotta eat the whole grains, and the fruits and vegetables, and all, and meats, and ..." Or no, lean protein I should say.

Mm-hmm. Yeah, yeah.

Not red meat.

Not red meat.

But like chicken and fish for the most part.

Mm-hmm. Well, good job, Peaches.

Thank you.

Um, I will say I haven't been, uh, eating great 'cause I've ... But, uh, the last few days my cravings for chocolate, ice cream, crappy food, have gone down. Uh, we went out to eat last night. I ordered a delicious burger, and I, I f-

Don't rub it in

... I forgot to bring it here. I was gonna eat it for leftovers today 'cause I only ate half of it.

So you're gonna eat it in front of me? You're gonna be like, "Hey, look at this, Peaches."

I'm like, dude, this ca- ... And it, it's a good burger, man.

It, it, you know-

It's a good one.

I was telling you off the air, I was with, uh, the, the homie Brian last night.

Yeah.

And he was eating a giant burrito in front of me, and after sticking to this diet for the past couple of weeks, I'm like, "Look at this peasant. Look at this-

[laughs]

... look, look at this like filthy pig." [laughs]

It's kinda like me, you know, 'cause Becca works at the bar. So, you know, sometimes when I get off, if she's gonna be off soon, I'll just go hang out with her. And, uh, I've still been doing that, but I'll order a soda water with a splash of orange juice.

Oh, you're that guy.

And so-

You're turning into me.

That's right. So I'm sitting in there, and, you know, everyone's, uh, pounding shots and beer.

I dare you to walk into there with a shaker bottle and eat a protein powder. [laughs]

[laughs]

You're like, "I'm getting them gains, guys."

I'm like, I'm just gonna stick, you know, the, uh, the potential cravings right in front of my face and say no.

I-

And it's tough.

It is tough.

It's, it-

Brian opened up a whole thing of fries yesterday, and he's like, "Do you want one?" And I was likeCan't do it. You know-

I have-

I've had friends peer pressure me into drinking before. I've never drank in my entire life.

Good job.

It's like, y- no- no one's gonna tempt me with anything.

Well, that's what, like, I told people on the morning show today. For s- for some reason, I was talking about, uh, cigarettes. I don't remember why, but I was like, "Just, you know, don't ever try them."

Oh, that's a tough habit.

Just don't even try them, 'cause nicotine is so addictive. It's like, you know, it's like heroin.

I had to watch my, uh, grandma go through the whole throat cancer thing because-

Yeah

... she couldn't give those up.

Yeah, nicotine is li- it's crazy. It's like the hardest thing, and it doesn't even, like, make you feel good or anything.

It makes you smell horrible.

[laughs] You, you stink.

Yeah. [laughs] You do.

And, uh, yeah, just if you know that your family has any kind of, you know, potential addictive, um, what's the word I'm looking for here?

Genes.

Genes.

Yeah.

Yeah. Don't try alcohol.

Well, that- that-

Don't try cigarettes

... that's why I stopped drinking those energy drinks, 'cause it was affecting my heart. I was drinking one, like, per, every day.

Yeah. Yeah.

For, like, five years.

Yeah.

Maybe even longer.

It gets rough as you get older, man, and, you know, with that big 44 coming up in two days, I was like, "All right."

You wanna be around for a while, right? You need to settle down.

You wanna watch the grandkids when they finally arrive.

Ah, Grandpa.

The grandpa Victor.

Oh.

Yeah.

My kids better wait a while.

I don't think so.

I don't need that title yet.

Uh, one of them's already engaged.

I know. She's getting married in October.

I know. It's bound to happen, Victor.

I better not be a grandpa next year.

It's b- it's bound to happen.

You know, where they're all waiting, all traditional.

I just-

"Wait till we get married and have a baby."

I just t- I just texted my, uh, friend's parents. I was like, "Hey, congratulations on becoming Grandma and Grandpa," but they're, like, 60, so it's-

Yeah

... it's d- it's a, it's a major difference between 60 and 44, or potentially 45 if it's next year for you.

Well, dude, imagine, like, you c- say you had a kid at 18, and then- then i- they had a kid at 18. You'd be a grand- grandpa at 36.

But why are you trying to speed run that?

I d- I don't know. That- that would be a little bit too early to be a grandpa, but it happens to people.

I mean, yeah.

You know?

It's- it's- it's their lives. It's not mine. But it's- it's, I'm- I'm from such a place where, like, you know, getting pregnant at 18, you're considered a, a lot of horrible names, but [laughs]...

Well, you know, a lot of people don't want to admit this, but most, I- I bet that most kids are not planned. They just happen, 'cause you didn't make the right [laughs] you know, or you didn't take the right precautions. You know, I, my kids are both aware neither one of them was planned, [laughs] you know?

What was that OJ quote? If the glove fits. [laughs]

[laughs] Like, I- I'm guessing that, uh, a lot of people who have children at 18, they didn't set out to.

Oops.

Yeah, you know?

Mom, I gained weight, just right there on my stomach.

Y- yeah.

Nothing to see here.

I- I don't think they were like, "I'm 18. I gotta have some kids right now."

Well, there are some.

There are some. I'm just saying most, I don't think they, they planned it out, and you can, you can, you know, tell a lot of times 'cause, like, people will get married, and then [laughs] hey, the baby was born, like, four months later. [laughs]

[laughs]

Why did you suddenly decide to get married?

That happened to my ex all of a sudden.

[laughs]

Like, uh, w- 'cause she blocked me and everything, and I was like, "Bryson, pull up her profile. I wanna see what she's up to." And then I see that she, like, uh, had an unplanned, uh, pregnancy.

She said it was unplanned?

Oh, no, it, it, she was not married to this guy.

Oh, okay.

And he's in the Army.

Oh, okay.

And all of a sudden, it popped up that they were outside some courthouse just holding hands.

Ah.

And, like, both, and both sets of parents are there, and that's it.

[laughs]

There's no wedding, no nothing. It's just like, like, "We're getting married now because we have to."

[laughs] Yeah, they had a baby on the way.

But, but also he's in the Army, so of course you get the benefits and all of that.

Uh-huh.

And so-

Uh-huh

... now she's all like, "Oh, I'm so-and-so's mom." It's, well-

How are we gonna afford this?

Right. Yeah.

[laughs]

Well, gee, good luck. I, I saw the ba- I did some Google searching. I saw the baby registry. There's a lot of stuff on there.

Oh. [laughs]

[laughs]

It's the noon hour of madness and mayhem. What's up, peaches?

I like the way you said that.

Mayhem.

Mayhem.

Mayhem. [growls]

Like a black metal vocalist.

[growls] Yeah.

Quick, go to a cave. Go to the 17-Mile Cave.

Yeah, 17-Mile Cave, put a mic in the corner, record it, and then add even more reverb, and you're good to go.

I just talked to, um, uh, Harlan from Show Me the Body-

Uh-huh

... a few days ago, a few days ago, and we were talking about, like, uh, production value in, in metal tracks.

[laughs] Yeah.

Because his, his band is, like, noise rock-

Okay, so-

... slash hip-hop slash industrial.

That's a lot of different things.

So it, it is. It's very weird. It's not necessarily my thing, but-

Is it well produced?

I can't ima- w- well, it's not well produced, I don't think.

N- okay, I was just asking your opinion on it.

No, no, it's, it's better than black metal.

Better than black metal. [laughs]

Yeah, yeah, yeah. I mean, like, if you want, like, a great pr- produced, a greatly produced band, you gotta go with, like, Distant and Wage War and-

Yeah.

Uh.

Yeah.

The, uh, we talked about the boundaries thing, where, like, they, uh, they decided to remix their first single that they released, and then-

'Cause of whiny fans?

Yeah.

Yeah.

Oh, who cares about those people, you know?

E- exactly. It's your music. Don't listen to your fans. You know, I know you make music and you wanna have fans listen to it, but it's not up to them what it sounds like.

Screw them.

This was kind of the whole point of the break, that I wanted to, or just like-

No, you were talking with, uh, the guy from the band about music.

No, even before that. I, we, I just brought that up 'cause you started doing the madness and mayhem.

Mayhem. Oh, well, we can always talk about whatever you were going to talk about the next break.

Sure.

I mean, I'll admit that I am a sucker for good production, and the band Mayhem, one of the most legendary black metal bands, they put out this album called Grand Declaration of War, and it actually had good production. Uh, it was really proggy. It was very different. Uh, really cool. Really cool album. Their fans hated itAnd they got bigger because of that album, but then they went back to the cave sounds-

Why?

... afterward. I was like, "Why, guys? That last album was so good."

Your band has to evolve to cater to the common people. Uh, uh, that's the unfortunate thing. You, you have this fan base in the beginning that- that's loyal, they love the band, they love the originality, but then you make this change that all of a sudden attracts a whole lot more people. You lose some of the OG fans, but it's a great trade, because if you lose 500, you gain, like, 200,000.

Yeah. Well, and, and these-

And like Bring Me the Horizon, Asking Alexandria, like all these bands that have like... Even Beartooth is becoming-

Mm-hmm

... uh, m- uh, even with th- like with them, with the whole, uh, Caleb Shomo thing, they g- they got shared on TMZ, Entertainment Weekly, like all that stuff.

Yep.

So that's, that's a huge spotlight.

Exactly.

Not saying what he did was a marketing opportunity, but I'm just saying like-

Yeah

... uh, uh, their, their also, their new sound is definitely-

It's different

... more acceptable to people who like, "I don't like the screaming. I don't want the-

Mm-hmm

... hardcore stuff."

Yep.

The-

And I'll also say, as someone who writes music, uh, when I was young, we, it was all, all about being in, heavy. You know, all heavy. We gotta crush, blah, blah, blah. And then you get bored with it. Like, I don't know a s- i- they just gotta love the paycheck, how AC/DC or all those, or, you know, any band that every album sounds the same. I would go insane.

I just don't think they care.

I, th- it's gotta be that, because-

I mean, after a while they're like, "Dude, we're one of the biggest bands of all time."

I know.

And they're also happy-go-lucky dudes.

Yeah.

And a lot of the stuff they say in their songs, they don't actually believe in. Like, "Have a drink on me," one guy, like, I think Angus hasn't had a drink for like 40 years or something like that. [laughs]

Yeah.

'Cause he gave that up, and, uh, the, the, "You shook me all night long," they talk about getting with like other, you know, women and stuff.

Yeah.

Uh, that's Brian Johnson's wife in the music video.

Oh, yeah. [laughs]

Uh, they, they met at, uh, at that music video, and then they got married, and then they've-

Oh

... been married for the past I don't know how many years. Like all of them are just

d- d- old grandpas [laughs] now.

Yeah.

But, uh, the, the-

I just know that, like from my perspective, I would, I just got bored with doing the same thing all the time. And as I got older and got into more different types of music, um, it, the, my music started changing naturally, that I, m- I write. Um,

so again, back to the beginning of this, you know, if you're a fan and you don't like the change, you know, it's, it's not your choice. I, I get it. I've, I've had some of my favorite bands change in a direction that I didn't like. Um, or, you know, maybe I liked older albums better. Ghost, for example, I think their best album is Meliora, and the older, sludgier, more metal Ghost is, uh, is my preference. Um, after the album Prequelle,

I, I like the newer Ghost songs, but the '80s Ghost thing, it's, it's not my favorite.

See, I love those.

Yeah. Yeah.

I love that sound.

And apparently it worked out great for them. They're playing gigantic arenas. Those albums, you know, sold better than Meliora. The, uh, it's not up to me, you know?

Uh, Tobias is gonna put out whatever music he wants. So I can't, I'm not gonna get on and complain about it. Uh-

See, that's what you say, but I think there might be a burner account that you have on Reddit.

[laughs]

And you're one of those guys on r/metalcore.

"Tobias is crap."

Yeah, yeah.

[laughs] I mean, I-

I see, I see a lot of people now like talking like, "I miss the old Bill Murray." I- it's like, come on, guys.

Ah.

Come on.

See, 'cause I was really excited when I heard, uh, Call, uh, Call Me Little Sunshine, 'cause that sound, that's like old school Ghost. And then the rest of the album was all '80s.

I liked tw-

I was like, "Argh."

I liked 20s. I think that was a funny one.

That, that's a fun song. That's a fun song. But yeah.

The hoo-ha. [laughs]

I'm excited to see what Tobias is doing with it. You know, it sounds like he's doing some kind of side project or something. I, I hope it's something that's not '80s. [laughs] Just-

Well, wait, wait till I learn to-

Anything from the-

... harsh vocals, and I'm gonna p- bust out like the harshest, uh, mixtape, [laughs] uh, or the harshest metal CD ever.

I'm waiting, Peaches. Get on it.

I, I, I got some lyrics. I got some stuff ready.

[laughs]

I just need to learn how to actually sing those.

You'll be screaming sad lyrics, right?

Oh, not sad, angry ones too.

Oh.

Well, there's, there's some sad ones.

[laughs]

I might need to get a g- I might need help from a, from a clean vocalist here in the area. But, you know. [upbeat music]

It's the noon hour of madness and mayhem. 'Sup, Peaches?

I- if you were to be in a movie, and you were cast as God himself-

Okay

... would your ego get a major boost?

Uh, like in real life?

Yeah. Uh, 'cause I, I just re-watched Bruce Almighty last night.

Yeah.

I was like, let me watch a good feelgood movie. You know, I'm having a down night. Let me watch something that's gonna make me feel better.

You got Morgan Freeman.

And you have Morgan Freeman. I almost said Morgan Wallen. You have Morgan Freeman.

I almost said it too. [laughs]

[laughs]

Stupid Morgan Wallen. I say his name too much. [laughs]

You, you have Morgan Freeman as God, and then you have Jim Carrey, and I realized Morgan Freeman's career has been insane. In movies with Jim Carrey, in movies with Brad Pitt, in tons of different movies with all these different A-listers, and he's played God, and he's played-

Yeah

... uh, he's played God in multiple movies, which is-

I think most people say, like, if you could have anyone narrate anything, the, the best voice would be Morgan Freeman, you know? He, he's a, he's a legend, you know? I, I think he really blew up, um, and became like superstar with The Shawshank Redemption.

Yeah. Yeah.

I think that's what-

Great movie.

Oh, it's so good. It's, it's, it's a masterpiece. It's one of the very few Stephen King movies that are good.

But why does he always play that, like, eloquent older guy?

Well, I-

You can't ha- you can't cast Morgan... I almost said Morgan Wallen again. You can't-

[laughs]

Wait, you can c- you can certainly cast Morgan Wallen as an idiot.

[laughs]

But you can't cast Morgan Freeman as an idiot.

No, you couldn't. He's-

[laughs]

I mean, even in Shawshank, like he's a, he's a criminal.

Yeah.

You know? Uh, but he's the smart guy i- in the jail. He, you know, works to, you know, smuggle stuff in, he works the deals and things like that. Um, yeah, he's-They, they need to cast him as a dumb guy in something. Maybe like Scary Movie. Have him totally off-kilter. [laughs]

I was trying to see what other movies he's been ... I mean, The, The Dark Knight.

The Dark-

Another-

He was in The Dark Knight?

Yeah, he was, uh, the head of the, the Wayne Foundation or something like that, or the-

Wow. It's been a while since I seen it, so I, I don't remember that. But ...

Um, Olympus Has Fallen, Unforgiven, Angel Has Fallen. He's been ... He was in The Lego Movie.

Okay.

He was in Million Dollar Baby, which is one of the saddest movies of all time.

Oh, I like to cry when I watch movies.

Um, Batman Begins, Lean On Me. Uh, he was in a movie where ... I think it's like three old dudes are dying, and they wanna, like, live out their last days having all this fun. It was him, Michael Caine, and-

I think I remember-

... another old dude

... seeing, like, a trailer for that or something.

But it ... Also Morgan Freeman was in Ted 2, and he's the best lawyer in America. And it's ... You know, he's the guy they wanna hire towards the end of the movie to help turn Ted into an actual ... Or, like, help give him rights to be an actual human even though he's a stuffed teddy bear.

Oh, we need to see him, yeah, in a really wacky, [laughs] just off-the-wall role.

Well, he's 89 years old, so-

He's 89?

Yeah, we need to get, we need to get him in there-

Holy cow

... before he's, uh, he's gone.

It's time. It's time to join the cast of Scary Movie-

It has-

... or something like that

... maybe he did. I think the movie comes out today.

Does it come out today?

Yeah.

Today?

Today.

Hm.

You know, movies come out on Thursdays.

Becca, uh, told me she had a surprise for me, and then she couldn't hold back and told me, uh, "I bought tickets to a movie." She asked me what time I wanted to go and gave me two times. I told her the, the earlier one. It'll be pretty much right after work. So today I gotta get out on time. But, um,

I don't know what movie it is. Maybe it is Scary Movie. I, I t- promised her I wouldn't look at the showings times on, uh, [laughs] the local movie theater websites, 'cause then I could really break it down. It could be Scary Movie. It is ... Ah, now I wanna look at the ti- ... I'm, I'm not gonna do it. I'm sure ... She said it was a movie we've talked about on air or that I've talked about on air. So I'm guessing now it would either be Obsession,

Scary Movie, or Backrooms, 'cause those are the three I remember talking about-

Yeah, yeah

... on air recently.

I definitely wanna go see those.

I, I wanna see all of them.

Yeah.

Um, so I ... [laughs] Any of the above, I'm stoked.

I, I Google Searched-

It better not be the, you know, the Grogu movie, 'cause I heard it's no good. [laughs]

I, I Google Searched, "Has Morgan Freeman played a stupid role?" And no. The, like, there's literally, like, Azim in Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves. He plays a 12th century Moorish mathematician.

[laughs] Even in Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves.

In London Has Fallen he plays the President of the United States.

[laughs]

In Kiss the Girls, 1997, and Along Came a Spider, he plays a legendary detective. [laughs] So-

Of course. Man, that, that's gotta be nice, 'cause some actors, they're just typecast-

I'd be typecasted-

... as the idiot

... for every big, stupid moron ever.

[laughs]

You know Brad Garrett's career?

[laughs]

I'd be going even worse than that. [upbeat music]

Just about to wrap up the noon hour of Madness and Mayhem. I'm Victor Wilt.

I'm Peaches, and I spent a lot of time talking to Star about, uh, billboards-

Mm-hmm

... uh, stuff that we could personally do here on KBEAR, and, uh, the other thing that's coming, uh ... Is it next week or the week after? Week after?

The week after.

Um, where we were coming up with, like, different, like, different things with, like, the afternoon show and all of that.

Mm-hmm.

And, um, we ... You know, during the morning show we talked about the whole King Kong thing, about how, like, I should be on the, the Idaho Falls water tower swatting down certain things.

Yes, swatting down planes and things.

Yeah, yeah.

You could just swat down, uh, birds. [laughs]

There, there, there's a picture ... Uh, swat down drones.

[laughs] Drones.

[laughs]

There you go.

There's a picture of King Kong holding a lady-

[laughs]

... and Star is like, "Maybe we should have you and Victor-

[laughs]

... pose like that."

And you're holding me.

I'm holding you.

[laughs]

And, and you're just like, "Put me down." [laughs]

[laughs]

But then she goes, "Hey, why don't you pose like this and go, 'Hey, you guys'"? And it's like-

Oh. [laughs]

[laughs]

I was just playing the Goonies music. You don't even have your headphones on.

No, no, no.

[laughs]

And she's like, "You might as well just, like, come in with ... " I'm ... Uh, with, like, a dumb pirate outfit. I'm like, "I'm not gonna do that on a ... " [laughs] Re- re- ... I mean ...

But you should, Peaches.

I should.

You should. What's your favorite kind of ice cream? Rocky Road?

No, I hate Rocky Road.

Rocky Road.

[laughs]

Do you like Baby Ruth candy bars?

I do like Baby Ruth, yeah.

[laughs] Baby Ruth.

See, when I told people, we just talked about in the last break.

Baby Ruth.

I would have the dumbest ra- dumbest acting career.

Sloth loves Chunk.

[laughs]

[laughs] Now, Brendan, we want you, we want you to audition for the role of Sloth in the-

[laughs]

... upcoming remake-

They-

... of The Goonies.

You keep hearing that there's gonna be a Goonies part two.

We have, we have that kid from Stranger Things playing Chunk.

[laughs]

He gained about 50 pounds for the role. So now we need you to put on this stupid mask [laughs] with this-

[laughs]

... with this dumb hair glued to the top of your head.

Just glue your hair ... Grow your hair back. [laughs]

[laughs]

And just start going like, "Hey, you guys."

[laughs] I demand Peaches in The Goonies 2.

And by the way, guys-

Well-

... it's Men's Mental Health Awareness Month. We just wanna let you know about that. [laughs]

That's right. [laughs] So feel free to, uh, make fun of your friends that are big.

And then, and then we'll also star Peaches in, uh, The Toxic Avenger-

Oh, yeah

... as Crazy Jay has suggested.

Well, that's what I was gonna kinda say. For some reason ... But I don't remember the angle I was gonna take, but I was gonna bring up The Toxic Avenger-

Oh, sure

... when we were talking about Sloth.

And then-

They are similar.

Uh, uh, we, we can also have you as Lenny from Of Mice and Men.

[laughs]

You put on the overalls and be the big, dumb hick.

[laughs]

[laughs] [upbeat music]
