Full show transcript:
Oh man, what's up?
Um, okay. Every year about this time, I think about the video. I don't even know how long ago it was, but you and I were talking on the show about bobbing for apples.
It must have been a would you rather? And you were like, I'm taking bobbing for apples because I'm pretty good at it. And I was like, What have you ever bobbed for apples? Every
Halloween and
I'm pretty good at it.
I put you to the test.
Yeah, and
you bobbed for apples.
And it was actually you did pretty okay. Yeah.
I think you got one on your fifth try. I think you were getting a little bit frustrated. And you said this is more wet than I imagined it to be. And it's more difficult than I imagined it to be.
I had bobbed for apples before. I'm pretty good. We put together a video. It got shared.
Uh yeah, we gotta reshare. It had to have been probably the first year you were doing the show. Yeah, I was like, or the second. It was a while ago.
So it's been, you know, a good couple of years anyway. Uh, but we just went out back with a bucket and some water and some apples, and uh the video uh shows me going in, grabbing an apple in about 13 or fewer seconds.
2023, yeah, three years.
Three years ago. So I I I went into the thing, I pulled up an apple real quick, and you were like blown away at how fast it was. And then you decided to share the outtakes where it took a little longer than the video made it seem.
I'm gonna I'm gonna repost this as a throwback.
Okay.
This was October 5th.
Yeah,
2023.
Yeah, I'm pretty good at bobbing for apples.
You I was impressed. Color me impressed.
Yeah.
I fell in love with you all over again.
I know how to make you swoon. Watch this. Watch me bob for apples. You're gonna love it. Look at how my face is all watery. You like that. I know what you like. Got this apple in the mouth looking like a barbecue ready pig.
Do you're
not ready? I
liked it. I'm gonna reshare this video because it was fun. And I think we did a mashup of all of it, but I gotta find it. Anyway.
Or just post the clip where I do it this fast. Like, that's okay too.
Okay.
Because I'm good.
You
bobbing for apples. Yeah. Three years ago, really. We've been doing this show for four years. We're old, bro.
I know, dude.
Man. Well, hey, here's today's show.
Hello. Good morning. Hi.
How are you doing? Me? Yeah.
Just great.
No, no. The other people in the room with us. What do you mean me? Yeah. Yeah.
You doing good? I'm doing so good. How are you doing?
Yeah, I'm all right. I could go for some more sleep, but other than that, I'm feeling fine.
My watch told me that I got a good night's sleep.
Did it?
And I just don't necessarily know if I agree.
Oh, look, I have uh I wore my new watch uh last night for the first time to see how it would track my sleep.
Okay.
It says good morning. Uh it says uh sleep score was an 87, so it says it was good. Um what's my uh total sleep time?
You got the quality sleep needed to build a strong foundation for your
day.
I got a s I got a strong foundation today.
Well, I'm happy for you.
So I got seven hours. Doubtful.
That does that seem like more.
What time would that have been?
Well, seven hours from when From five?
Uh good question.
Yeah. Is that what you're asking? Is when did you fall asleep?
Yeah. Oh,
I don't know. Seven hours before you woke up, apparently.
It doesn't matter. I don't feel like I got quality sleep. Do you ever feel that way?
Yeah.
Like, even when you get like
I will tell you there are certain places where I feel like I slept.
Where? Well,
I don't, I'm just saying, like there are times when I wake up and be like uh and I'll be definitely like uh I feel like a bear crawling out of hibernation. I slept last night.
But do you feel refreshed when you wake up?
Sometimes.
I don't know if I ever do.
That's crazy.
Like I've gotten some good night's sleep, but I wake up and I still go, God, I I could still go back to bed.
I saw a thing that uh was saying that uh they did a study, uh a sleep study on men versus women.
Uh-huh.
And they found out that like a woman's brain is uh while she's asleep, still some crazy percentage of alert. Like I
buy
this is all biological.
Yeah.
And uh and it's all part of like uh, you know, uh your evolution as a woman over the years to uh be alert for like a crying child or whatever, and uh where men is like way low percentage of activity.
Yeah, men don't have to worry about anything.
I didn't say that. I'm just saying that like biology has made us into what you dislike about men. Ah, it's not my fault. It's biology. We get to say that. I it's probably uh bunch of men who did that study.
Probably,
and they're like, Yeah, we can figure this out, we'll just release some science look at science
says science,
we're predisposed to be able to do it.
They got some financial backing to do the research.
That's right, to find out the women's brains never shut
off. Yeah,
so you might just not feel rested because you just can't shut off.
That's true.
Although you sound like you're pretty shut off
today, right now.
Sometimes I
don't make those noises.
Right.
I'm a lady.
Okay. What did you uh uh imagine it looked and sounded like?
Like just like yeah, like one
arm draped above my head, a very renaissance of
you, hair just like swirling
down. Yeah, you think you're a painting,
just beauty and grace.
Yeah, I'm just slumbering,
mouth closed,
just like some
soft you know, that's
what it is. Not
mouth,
it's exactly like
that, not mouth open, like
you are a renaissance painter.
I am beauty and grace.
Look at you. All right, this is kind of a fun little story here on good news. There's uh an astronaut you may have heard of called Neil Armstrong.
Yes,
he grew up in uh how do you say this town? Wapakineta, Ohio.
Sure.
Um, and while living in his childhood home as a kid, he built model airplanes in the dining room. He constructed a wind tunnel in the basement, and he earned his pilot's license while living there at the age of 16.
Wow. So the house is kind of filled with some history. Uh, this house in Ohio. News broke that the house was going up for sale, so this retired firefighter, uh, or excuse me, fighter pilot uh who grew up in nearby Dayton, Ohio, he donated 400,000 of his own money to save and preserve the house.
His name's Ken Schreiber, and he now lives in Texas. He was nine years old when he watched Neil Armstrong take the famous first steps on the moon. And seeing that historic moment, it inspired Ken to become a pilot himself. Being able to preserve some of the history of his hero has allowed things to kind of come full circle for Ken.
He said, I just thought somebody had to step up to the plate. It's almost like the ghost of Neil Armstrong was there, and I could imagine him running up and down the stairs as a kid. And thanks to Ken's donation, the uh County Historical Society there in that town in Ohio will restore the house to its 1940s appearance, and they hope to open it to the public within the next few years. So similar to Graceland, you can go and you can check out Neil Armstrong's childhood home. I think that's very, very fun.
That is cool.
Yeah, you could call it space land instead of Graceland.
See you come up with that
just
now, or did somebody
else come
you didn't
uh that one's on me.
You're gonna take credit for it.
I wrote that
myself in
my brain.
You're gonna admit that you okay.
Admit good job.
Good joke.
You're welcome.
Go tour spaceland.
It's uh you gotta call it spaceland, like Graceland,
spaceland,
spaceland,
going to spaceland,
right? It's Neil Armstrong's childhood home anyway. It's a really cool thing. Uh something, I mean, depending on how it goes, some I'd go to Wapakinetta, Ohio to check it out while I was in nearby Dayton.
Is that where the big ball of twine is?
No.
Oh. I was thinking maybe you could check off two things.
Because that is something that I was like, man, I hope I get to see that big ball of twine.
That big ball of twine.
Yeah. Now the biggest single strand or the biggest because there are two.
It's like the biggest type of twine. It's not the single, it's not like a single piece. There's there were two competing balls of twine.
One was like this specific type of twine.
It was a tiny. And the guy not I see. The guy that made it was like, no, only this type of twine.
I see. This other guy was like, I don't care what it is. All the twines, yeah.
It's just whatever twine you got.
I see.
I watched this on.
I saw that too.
Do you do you want to see both of them?
No, I don't want to see either of them. Is seeing a picture enough?
Yes.
You don't want to actually see them in person.
No.
And look at the grandeur of the size of that ball of twine.
No, I'm okay.
All right. Well, if it's on the way to Spaceland, we can check it out. It's good news.
Looks like we'll be seeing some of Beyonce at the Super Bowl halftime show.
Okay, what year was it that she was the halftime show? Do you
know? Uh
like how many years ago. It doesn't feel like it was that many, but of course they just go by so fast that it's probably already been like six or eight or something.
Probably.
I'm not sure. All right.
It was just announced that Jay-Z is going to be doing the halftime Super Bowl halftime show.
A lot of people are gonna have a lot of opinions about this, and they're gonna be very vocal about it. And a lot of them are gonna be negative. Here's my only take.
What's your take?
My only take is that title, T-I-D-A-L, his Jay-Z's music
distribution service, is the one responsible for booking the halftime show. Yeah.
Uh used to be the Pepsi halftime show, then it was the Apple Music halftime show, and then Title got the naming rights. So he has self-appointed, and I don't care for that part. I think there are great artists. I think there are more people that could benefit from the opportunity. It's strange to me that he would self-appoint.
Agreed. Okay, so Beyonce, because we're gonna see her.
Of course
she's gonna cameo. She has to. Yeah. She has performed three major NFL halftime shows.
Yeah. She did the Super Bowl
XL V I.
XL V I
I.
So that would be 4052.
Okay. She did that. That was in 2013
with Destiny's Child. Okay.
Then in 2016, she was a special guest for Coldplay alongside Bruno
Mars at the Super Bowl 50 halftime show. Okay.
Then she was the headliner for the Christmas Day halftime show for the Texans versus Ravens game in 2024.
Okay, but that's not the Super Bowl. That's a different show.
Right. So she hasn't actually done the Super Bowl Super Bowl by herself.
Yeah, she did when the Lemonade album came out.
Well, it doesn't say that she did.
Wasn't that the one you said that was like 53?
She said
that was with Destiny's Child.
Destiny's Child.
I know for a fact she did the halftime show when Lemonade came out because everybody was freaking out. She came out. Uh I know, I know she did it. Am I losing my mind?
I you might be just because she has been there. She just hasn't done it by herself. Regardless.
Lemonade came out in 2016.
So it's been 10 years ago. In 2016, she was a special guest for Cold Play. Cold play was the show that year.
I don't know.
Okay. I just tell you what Google told me.
I know. I'm just looking live at Super Bowl 2016 featuring Bruno Mars. It was the Super Bowl 50 halftime show.
No, I know, but it was her.
Like it was just her, and then featuring Bruno Mars. So she did the halftime show.
It says cold play. Okay, regardless. We'll discuss that later.
We're talking about Jay-Z because he is the actual show for this upcoming.
The commissioner, the NFL commissioner, Roger Goodell.
Yeah.
Says when we first reach an agreement to produce the show, I had just one request that Jay-Z take the stage himself one day.
Okay.
Whenever that moment felt right to him.
Which I can totally tell you. That meeting did happen. Like, there's no way Roger Goodell didn't say, you know what would be really cool, Jay-Z, since Title is gonna be the uh sponsor of the halftime. It'd be really cool if you did it yourself when really like your music, Jay-Z. That's how that meeting went.
Okay.
And then and then uh Jay-Z's like, I think I'm gonna send myself out there because uh who you know fresher than Hove.
And he said that, and
then
Roger Cattell was like, that was my idea.
That's how the meeting went.
Wait, wait, wait.
You heard it. Hove. And then you said all bunch of that stuff, and then you did that laugh he does. Yeah. Yeah, like that. And they're like, it's a deal. That's how the meeting went.
That is how the meeting went. Okay, listen. I like Jay-Z. I do. And so I'm kind of excited about the show,
but I also feel like it's like a little bit icky. I just don't like the self-promotion.
Exactly.
Like I, you know.
It feels icky. Apparently, Miley Cyrus and Justin Bieber were also in the world.
Yeah, I saw a lot of rumors about Miley.
I never saw anything about Justin. But I also go, okay. Jay Z hasn't really done anything.
I know. Right.
In a little bit of a chance. There aren't like big artists right now that could benefit from the uh because they don't get paid for it, but they get a ton of exposure. And every time they do a show, the downloads go like crazy. Well, Jay-Z and title, that's where you get his stuff is on title. Who do we think he's gonna bring out with them? Because he's not gonna do it by himself.
Well, no, because everything he's ever done is a collaboration. So uh everyone. He's gonna bring out everybody.
Yeah. Fiddy.
Okay.
Fitty cent.
No, I heard I know who you meant. I just don't know why you're saying it like that.
Everyone says that. Fitty cent. Who knows? Who you know fresher than home.
Riddle me though. All right.
Big news in our house for our daughter.
Yep.
Raising canes opens what, today?
It's gotta be today. I think so. Yeah.
There were people camped outside the restaurant last night in the rain and the cold. And uh I think that's silly.
Yeah. I mean, like the first what, a handful of people or whatever get free chicken for a year.
Yeah, but I so
Okay.
I don't even like their chicken.
So well, I do.
Would you camp outside?
No.
To get chicken for a year.
Is there if I was look, if I was like in my twenties and had nothing better to do, my responsibility was low, maybe.
Is would you?
Maybe I was gonna ask, what restaurant would you camp outside for? Like now?
Yes. Hmm.
I don't know.
I know.
Like uh I I don't know. I mean, I I like camping. I don't I don't necessarily like doing it in town.
For food.
For free food.
Now, I love cafe zupas.
Okay.
And so when they built a cafe zupas here,
I got very, very excited.
But I waited because I know that things get crazy when they're new.
And so I waited a week and then I was like, it's still a little bit crazy, but I'm gonna
go and beat the crowds to get there.
But
I knew I wasn't gonna get there on the first week that they opened. And I was okay with that. Because guess what? It's just it's just food.
It is it's it's delicious chicken.
It's
at this place at Cain's, it was delicious soup and sandwiches.
Delicious Soup and sandwiches.
Right.
But I wouldn't have camped outside for that. I love delicious soup and sandwiches.
Okay.
I'm not gonna camp outside.
But think about if you were like think back for a minute.
Okay.
To our to our foosball and Mongolian food case. And we had little responsibility. We had responsibility we ignored. Let's be real. But we're we're 22. And all we have is foosball and food. Why not? Right? I mean, we waited in we waited until midnight releases for video games. We waited and did midnight releases for books.
We we would wait and do midnight releases to go to movies.
What's I mean, it's not camping out for like a day and a half or more just to get free chicken, but I probably would have. I
don't know.
If I was a young person. I don't think I would do it now. I like my bed.
I just I'm trying to think of there's like I've waited in line for some movies and some books, but it wasn't camping.
That's what I'm saying.
Outside. But
you
know, that for you know, on Black Friday sales and stuff, too.
I just haven't ever had a desire to do any of that. I'm like, I don't care about anything that much. Right.
I guess that's maybe that's what's wrong with me. I don't care about something that much.
I don't think that's what's wrong with you. I think that's what makes you different than the people who do that. I don't think there's anything wrong one way or another. I don't think the people that do it have something wrong with them either. I think it's just the way like that that drives them.
They go really want that chicken.
I love a good deal. Like I'm gonna camp out for these shoes or whatever. I want that goodie bag when I walk in the door. I whatever. Yeah.
Some people love that. And Some people do love that. good for them.
I'm not gonna camp out for free food. I might go camping.
Especially not that free food. Guess what?
Gaines is gross. It's good. You're wrong.
You're wrong. You know what's good about that? The toast.
End of what's good at Canes. And I could buy a whole box of that toast for less than one toast. This is what I hear from you all the time.
You don't you don't know me at all?
I do. I do. I do. I'm excited.
I know our daughter's very excited. Good stuff. Loves raising canes. So she's pretty. She's pretty hot on the trail.
Yeah, I'm pretty sure. Yep, they opened today. Um, I don't know the time. It looks like probably about 10 a.m.
Ask your daughter, she'll know. Yeah.
Doors officially open at 10 a.m. First 20 people in line when free chicken for a year.
Dude, the first 20 people.
Yeah. And I'm sure that line is already longer than 20 people.
And what are the restrictions on the
like you can only get one tender? No, I think they give you like a a gift card or whatever.
Okay. And it probably is limited for sure. I don't think it's like here's a free box every time you come in.
But it's probably what there's there's 52 weeks, so it's probably like 52 chicken fingers or something like that. So you get free chicken for a year. You can come in and redeem it once a week for a chicken.
Okay. That's what you're into.
Yeah. Apparently they do a whole bunch of different stuff. I'm looking at uh at their sweepstakes and giveaways and stuff. They do a lot of different stuff. They do a lot of community uh partnership things and um yeah, they do all kinds of stuff. Okay.
Well, happy Cain's Day.
Yeah. Good luck in that line.
I'm not gonna be there.
And uh be kind to the new employees.
Yes. Let's let's just point that out. These guys have got a new job, they're learning a new system, they're doing their best.
It's opening day. Be patient. Let's just uh watch for traffic in that area because it's gonna be nuts.
And remember, it's just chicken.
So you don't need to have a fight about it.
Amazing mediocre.
chicken.
Delicious. Mid. It's mid.
It's delicious. They open at 10 a.m. Good luck, everybody. They have released the uh this year's 2026 people magazine sexiest man alive.
See who it is. No, it's no, it was uh Paul Rudd a couple of years ago. Always be Paul Rudd. What are we doing? We don't need to do this every year. It's just always Paul Rudd.
Is it?
Yes, yes.
Interesting. I don't need to be reminded of what I'm not. Yesterday, I sent you a little video clip of the uh the dance scene from Casper happened to be on a TV at my mom's place, and I thought, like, what a great moment. I'm gonna send you this awesome video. It's the can I keep you moment, like so good, right? They're floating, dancing. It's amazing.
Who's that? Christina Ricci?
Yes, and you replied, I don't need to be reminded about what I'm not.
I said, Why'd you send me this? And you said everyone needs to see Christina Ricci, and I said, No, I don't need to be reminded of what you're into and what I am not.
Right. So I'm just gonna go ahead and point out. This man of life should always be Paul Rudd.
He can't use my words back at me.
Okay.
You can't.
All righty.
Okay, who is who is the
well tell you he's 55. Okay.
Okay.
Uh he said he never imagined receiving the honor and says his first reaction was to think the announcement was a prank. He said, just not in a million years did I think this would be an honor bestowed on me in this lifetime.
I cheated.
Yeah, it's Noah Wiley.
Noah Wiley.
Yeah.
Dr. What's his name on the pit?
Uh yep.
I can't think. We watch that show all the time, and now I can't.
Dr. Robbie.
Dr.
I had to think about it.
Good job.
Uh for a minute. Um, but also he was uh in ER. He was Dr. John Carter on ER.
Oh, I thought, hold on. I thought Paul Rudd had it last year, but do you know who had it last year? Jonathan Bailey.
Yeah. Oh, stop it.
I forgot about it.
And how do you feel about Noah Wiley?
Uh, Noah Wiley's pretty attractive.
Sure.
All right. I'm an agreement. Okay. Uh, he said his wife was amused by the title and encouraged him to embrace it. Uh Jonathan Bailey was 2025. Uh, George Clooney's been in there, Chris Evans, Paul Rudd, etc., etc., etc. None of them even matter. Paul Rudd and Jonathan Bailey, that's
all. That's
it.
I don't need to be reminded of what I'm not.
It's just it.
with Jonathan Bailey. The way he looks at a woman. Like, what does that mean?
Dude, any of these people know. All these women know.
Even our daughter said that the other day.
She was like, he can play that very good. I'm like, yeah, I know. Yeah, I know. Whatever.
The way he looks at a woman. Like he's actively listening. Just love it. He listens. Oh, yeah.
Give it a try sometime.
Give what a try. Listening? What is that like?
Oh, buddy Josh.
Well, congratulations to Noah Wiley.
Noah Wiley. Now when does the pit come back?
Because I uh not soon enough.
I know my medical training is lapsing.
Until January. It's not medical training.
I just I don't even know how to intubate anybody anymore.
That's okay. Good. Good news.
Our daughter made dumb old cookies.
I know. She sends us a text message and she's like, you guys are gonna be really mad when you get home. And I said, What did the dog do? And she said, The dog didn't do anything I did. And I went, what did you do? And then she sent a picture of freshly baked cookies on a plate. And I must have.
upset. And said, these are the best ones I've ever made.
I ate one.
Same.
Why do you say it like you ate more than one?
I've had one. I had three. Four.
I've had one.
Well, good for you.
I'm not, it's not a competition. I'm just telling you. I I saw the pile, I went, I can only eat one of these, and I ate one, and then I left the room, and I can't even go in the kitchen now.
I was feeling a little bit grumpy yesterday, and so I grabbed three on our on the way out the door to run an errand. And I ate three cookies. But I also knew this errand that we were running that we'll talk about later. I knew was gonna be a long drive.
Yeah.
And I was hungry, and it was just a quick, we had to get to getting. And so I said, I gotta I gotta grab a snack. So I grabbed one, and then I grabbed another one.
Uh-huh. And
then I went, ah, three for good luck.
Three for good luck. And then when we got home, you had the fourth. Because you were putting plastic over him.
So you had a fifth.
And fifth.
Shh. Shh. Yeah, I had to put the plastic over him so that I would stay out of them.
I have three.
Four. I had
and then fifth.
Shh.
How many really?
I had five. Really. Really, really, really.
Are you Are you
saying there's more than five?
Because the way you're reacting is you're saying five, and then you're like, but it might have been more. I can't tell. I lost count. There were too many cookies.
No, I'm sure it was five. I don't think I had more than five. Okay, but listen.
I'm not I'm not sold. Look, you can have as many cookies as you want. I'm not here to judge. I just know that yesterday you said out loud, I'm already over my calories, so whatever. And then you you kind of were really upset about it.
Yeah, I was upset about it. And I'll tell you why. Because I am a sucker for sweets.
I know.
If you put sweets in front of me, I will not be able to say no. I will not. I don't understand people who do and can be like, oh, I'll pass, thank you. I'm like, what is the matter with you? How does your brain react like that? I want my brain to react like that, but I go, oh, don't mind if I do.
And then and then you finish the one and go, someone ate all my cookies.
Yeah.
What is the problem with it?
And here's the thing.
What is it?
I actually have been doing very, very well.
I've been counting my calories. I've been trying to get my brain. You're tracking macros. I get it.
And I, it's a slow process.
Right.
It's slow. Like I weigh and then I go, oh, I'm down like half an ounce.
Half an ounce.
Go me. I barely got any calories today, but woo.
Yeah.
And then I had three cookies, five cookies. And I I've gained 16 pounds.
Uh-huh.
And it's nonsense.
You haven't gained 16 pounds.
Yes, sir. From three five cookies. That's a little extreme.
No kidding. I weighed this morning and I went, those cookies.
I don't think the cookies work that way. I don't think you eat three, five cookies, and then all of a sudden you have a bunch of weight. I don't that's how it works.
No.
That's not how that is exactly how it works.
You can't have three, five cookies.
I'm telling you, from the time I waited yesterday to the time I waited this morning, extreme.
Well, don't eat more cookies.
I know I can't. That's why they're plastic sealed.
So they're harder to get into. That'll keep you out. That'll do it. I'm sure of it.
Dumb cookies. You better start making those cucumber sandwiches.
I know. I you said I'd owe you cucumber sandwiches. Uh, the second a boat appeared.
Go ahead.
What do you want me to say? A boat appeared. And now I owe you cucumber sandwiches. Is that it? I did ask you uh on the way to uh go look at this boat. Uh it what you like on like what shape do you like your cucumber sandwiches? Do you want little square ones or triangles?
Uh triangles, actually.
Do you want four triangles out of one sandwich?
Yes.
So little cute triangles.
Yes.
Crust or no crust.
I like crust.
What else goes on your cucumber sandwich?
Some cream cheese. Really?
Yeah.
Usually. I don't know. Find a recipe and make it because now Okay, cucumber sandwiches.
I'm looking this up.
You have other you have other things to talk about.
So it is uh yeah, it's like an herby cream cheese. Uh you could also do them like with uh uh uh the Greek sauce. What's that called? Tazika?
Yeah, you could do them with a Tziki sauce. Okay,
that looks nice,
it does look nice, and they do taste nice. Uh so get to making those cuki sandwiches because
Right, because a boat appeared. A
boat did appear.
It appears there's a boat.
You bought a boat, yeah.
Listen, uh the boat bought me, I think is what really happened. I saw the boat and the boat was like, I choose you, man. And uh, and so I reached out to a guy and I said, Hey, tell me about this boat. And he told me about the boat, and the boat was like, you should see me. So we took a little trip. Uh the boat was all the way in Utah, but we got to look at the boat in Idaho because uh the guy with the boat said, I'll meet you.
Yeah.
And so we drove to a Maverick, real public place, you know, as you do when you're when you're meeting up with strangers.
You go to a public exchanging money
in a parking lot. Yeah. And so we went to a real public place with a lot of light. Um, I was worried that uh two things. I was worried the storm was gonna hit uh before we got there because it was a big storm uh that rolled in as we were headed out of town, and then I was also kind of trying to beat the sunset. Because I wanted to be able to see it, you know.
Yeah.
In more than just parking lot light, because I wanted to look at the bottom of it, and I wanted to make sure it wasn't, you know, didn't have holes in it. You don't want to buy a boat with holes in it. That's a bad boat. And uh and I wanted to kind of get, you know, uh look at the condition of it, look at the upholstery on the seats, and um, you got to take a look at it. And I don't know if you've have you seen uh drift boat up close before.
Yeah.
What? I'm asking because you said, well, it only has three seats.
I know I I knew it was gonna have three seats because
I on the way down, I go, this is not
a fun purchase for our family
because
typically it in a drift boat, you can only fit three people. There are four of us.
Yeah.
Not that our kids are gonna want to go in the fishing boat.
Right,
but I the second I saw it, I said, There's nowhere for me to even take a nap in this boat.
To which the guy selling the boat said, Oh, talk to my wife. She's in the passenger seat up front. She takes a nap in this thing all the time.
I didn't talk to his wife. I went and got sat in the truck.
Because it was cold.
Because it was cold. But I would like to know where she takes a nap because
kick up your feet, relax. In
a chair.
Yeah. You've never napped in a chair.
I have. I just that's not the type of boat I wanted. And I think you know that.
This boat was not a hundred thousand dollars. The type of boat you want is a hundred thousand dollars.
I know. I know it.
Not spending not spending that much money on a boat. But it's glittery. Look at it. And it pulls a tube.
Sell me on this boat that you bought.
Sell you
on sell it to me.
It it sells itself, clearly.
You see it. Because I got hooked.
I will sell it to you. The way to sell it is for you to experience it. That's the way to sell it. I can't sell it to you without you. Once you get in it and we go on a float, you're gonna go, I get it now. I get it.
I don't know.
And we're not taking the dog on that first experience.
No, I'm not taking the dog on that boat at all. Are you crazy? No.
You're gonna take cucumber sandwiches.
You're gonna take cucumber sandwiches.
I know.
I'm aware.
For Or you handmade in little triangles by me for you to snack on. I know. I will have our daughter make fresh baked cookies because I know you like those, and we'll be good to go. Homemade chocolate chip cookies and little cucumber sandwiches and a big sun hat and a book and a nap, and you're gonna love it.
All right.
Sold. Do
you remember when Bunko was a thing?
No.
You don't?
No, I never I've never played Bunko. Isn't that a dice game?
Yeah, I'd never played it either.
But it was like there was a crazy people playing Monko. Yeah. This this goes back to when Porters was still around.
I'm
not sure. Because I know, but they were selling Bunko sets like crazy. So that's how long ago Bunko was a like all the
rage. I had gone for a massage here in town.
Uh-huh.
And the woman I'd never met the Masseuse before. Yeah.
And she she was a chatty masseuse. Okay.
Which is fine. And we like had a solid connection. And then she was like, Do you want to come play bunko with me and my friends? And I was busy or something like that.
Why do you have to be so charming?
She was. So she was like constantly like, come play Bunko, come play Bunko, come play Bunko. And I I never went. But that was like a big thing happening.
I remember your sister was talking about going to bungalows.
bunko parties. My sister was in some bunko parties.
Did she go and like it and play and have a good time?
I think so.
Yeah, she seems like a bunko.
A lot of people liked Bunko. Mahjong.
I like Mahjong.
Is kind of the new bunko.
How?
Because I've I've been seeing Mahjong. People are talking about Mahjong a lot lately.
I've seen it on some Instagram videos. I have a coworker who goes weekly to play. No way.
Mahjong with her friends.
Now is it a is it a heads up game? It's two player. It's one on one.
I do not know. I don't know. I just Googled as mahjong the new
bunko because I've been seeing a lot of mahjong. Okay.
And it says yes.
Yeah.
The internet said yes. Mahjong has widely become known as the new Bunko or the next bridge.
Like there's always like a new thing. Like it's been Pinakle before, bridge for sure, book clubs.
It's just these people looking for a connection for an outing for a group, and they're like, let's do this.
Mahjong.
Mahjong.
Do you think Batgammon had its day?
Yes, it did.
Did in our house. We were playing Batgammon a lot.
Yeah, we were playing Batgammon a lot. I like Batgammon.
Yeah.
We haven't we go through we go through stages of games too,
where we play like a certain game. Uh uh
We
were playing canasta like crazy.
We were playing a lot of canasta. We were playing a lot of katan.
Yeah.
And then just one day you stop and you don't play it again.
Well, and I got into fishing. And then I'd rather do that for a while.
Yeah, but in the winter time.
That's when I'm tying flies a lot.
Okay, but let's play more games.
Oh, okay. I said this just the other day. I go, it's kind of a shame.
We have many closets full.
We have a lot of fun games.
The problem is that our daughter was young when we started playing some of these
oh, like the
strategy games that take a long time to learn the rules to. And so she was never really invited to play because she just was bored. She would be bored listening to the rules.
Right.
And now that she's old enough to play, I'm like, let's play with her.
Okay.
Because she would like it. And I actually want to see you and her play these strategies.
Because you think she's a good competitor with me.
100%. Your brains think very similarly. So I like to watch. I like to watch her beat you.
That's rude.
No, it's awesome.
Do your own battling.
I do, but it's it's I never win.
But she does. Because you're better at games than I am. You're better at strategy than I am. What have you said out loud?
Quiet down.
You know what I'm really good at?
You better not even say it. Don't.
Mario Kart.
Say say I'm better than you at Mario Kart. I will not. I will not. I taught you everything you know about that game.
Mario Kart.
We're gonna play today. Put it down in the calendar.
We're gonna race today.
We're gonna race.
Louigi is better than Yoshi.
You're so wrong. You're wrong, dude.
Every race.
You're wrong, dude.
His head catches too much wind. He's not aerodynamic.
I am better at Mario Kart than you. Josh.
Fight your own battles.
I am fighting my own battle.
I am we're playing today.
It's on like Donkey Kong.
Who's your least favorite racer?
Maybe I'll play as Donkey Kong just so that you can be real mad. Go ahead. He's slow. He only wins when the computer's controlling him.
Whoa.
Yeah. You've got me fired up.
Uh yeah, Luigi will bring it. Put it in the calendar.
I will.
It is on.
You might be into this. There's this thing called a say no retreat.
Okay. What's the what's the deal?
It's basically a day where you kind of look at your calendar and you take a look at what you can say no to.
So you look at your calendar and you go, Yep,
my life is too busy.
I just need a little bit of crazy.
That's what I'm saying. So you sit down, you look at your calendar, and you go, okay, I don't want to do this. I'm gonna say no to this. I don't want to do this, I'm gonna say no to this. So you consider all your appointments, all your social plans, all your trips, all these commitments that you may be dreading, and you go, I don't want to do that, so I'm not gonna. You don't have to cancel everything. The point is that you stop automatically agreeing to things just because you feel obligated to.
Yeah, we need that in our life.
That's what I said.
You are gonna like this. Because uh we said at the beginning of 2026, we're gonna put camping at a priority and we're gonna put it on to the calendar first. We went on Memorial Day and we went on Labor Day.
And that's not even considered camping.
I know you kind of consider that camping. Right, because we went, we went and had an experience and stayed in our trailer.
Yeah.
So it was in the camp trailer, but it was at uh like an RV resort thing. So it it certainly isn't
like going to the woods and camping and fishing and hiking and all that stuff. Yeah.
And so we we said we were gonna prioritize that for 26 and did not. I know. So 27, I'm saying it again. We've got to do that
first the calendar fills up so fast, and we have friends and family that look at our calendar and go like, you guys are insane. Like, why are you so busy? I just we just had a neighbor the other day.
Our neighbor came to visit, and we love our neighbor, and we've played games with our neighbors before, and they're like, we'd love to play games with you guys. We'd love to do a board game night.
I know, me too. She's like, well, whenever you guys are done being busy. I'm like, I'm tired of being busy.
I know.
And when there's days that we have nothing to do, I go, I feel like I'm forgetting something because why don't we have anything going on? But I don't think we're more busy than other people. I think everybody is the same amount of busy.
But it feels like and and I would say when people look at our calendar specifically, they go, like, what is going on with that thing? Like, there's so much on it. And so when you're like, oh yeah, we're gonna play Mario Kart, put it on the calendar. I go, I don't want to put more on the calendar.
Yuck. Like I want to have fun and I want to do the thing, but I hate the calendar. It's so full. I hate the calendar too.
It's
crazy. Let's have a say no retreat and look at our calendar
and say, You actually did the other day. Somebody asked you to do something. And I said, I'm not I'm not.
You said no.
No.
I'm proud of you.
Are you?
Yeah.
I'm still going to the thing. I'm just not doing what they want me to do while I'm there.
That's fine. You get to be a guest and not work.
That is correct.
So that's nice.
Yeah. I did say, unfortunately, I cannot do that because I will be attending as a
guest this time.
I'm not going to work it.
Good job.
Yeah. That felt good.
It did feel good.
Yeah.
I'm still going to the thing.
I still have that on the calendar as a thing to go do, but it's a different attitude. I'm going to be like, hey, I'm not. I'll schmooze. I'm here to talk about it.
I get to come back. Yes.
Yeah, I'm not working. I work enough. I thought
you might like that. I do like that. Now, why is it called a say no retreat?
Because that feels like like uh like a yes day where you get to say yes to everything your kids want to do, and that's different than a say no retreat, which sounds like let's go, let's go somewhere relaxing and sit down and review our calendar. Like yuck.
Yeah. I don't know.
Like I what a say no retreat sounds like. You go to a resort. It's this all-inclusive resort, and all these people come up to you and ask you to do these obligations, and you just get to say no for a week.
I don't know why it's called that.
Will you join me at this meeting? No.
No.
Like, that's what you need.
That's a say no retreat. I like that.
Yeah. Where the expectation is that people are gonna come up to you and ask you to do things, and you just get to say no.
Anybody at your job, and you go, no.
No.
I'm gonna say no, voyage.
They said there's a problem back at the office. No. Like that's their whole thing. Is like you just get to tell people no all day. How fun.
That would be fun.
Would you like to uh hear about this vacuum I have for sale? No.
It's I'm on my say no retreat.
There is a town in New Jersey that is called Westfield.
Okay.
And in Westfield, New Jersey, which is about 22 miles west of New York City, is a street that is called East Dudley Avenue. And East Dudley Avenue in Westfield, New Jersey has been crowned the Reese's top trick-or-treat street.
Whoa. Who dubbed it that?
Reese's.
And why?
Has been crowned the Reese's top trick-or-treat street.
But why?
The candy company says the street stood out for its high participation, creative decorations, and strong community spirit, turning Halloween into a neighborhood wide event. They are the Reese's trick-or-treat street. So I wonder, does Reese's give them a bunch of candy?
Doubt it.
To make it awesome.
Doubt it. What street would you want to be known as?
Quiet.
Slow driven down. No, you have to pick a candy. What candy?
Well, they're just the trick-or-treat treatiest. They're like, they're not Reese's did the contest. Reese's did the designation. Reese's put out the list.
Back up. They're not named the Reese's street because they give out the most Reese's of anybody.
No. I
thought
that's what you're doing. Reese's put out a list of all the trick-or-treatiest streets in America. And this one's the top.
Because of. How did they get to be the top?
Because of their high participation, creative decorations, strong community spirit, turning Halloween into a neighborhood wide event.
I see. I thought it was because they gave out the most Reese's of anybody.
No. Mmm. No, they are America's top trick-or-treat street according to Reese's.
Where is this?
You've got to be kidding me. From the top. There's a town in New Jersey called Westfield. It's about 22 miles west of New York City. And in that town, there's a street called East Dudley Avenue. And East Dudley Avenue has been named America's Top Trick-or-treat street by Reese's. The candy company says the street stood out for its high participation. creative decorations and strong community spirit turning Halloween into a neighborhood-wide event.
Why didn't you start with all that?
You gotta be kidding me. Remember what you said about how Jonathan Bailey looks at a woman and listens. What's that like?
You tell me. I wouldn't know.
Me neither. Who looks at a man that way and is like, I'm gonna listen and I'm gonna listen intently and I'm gonna take in every word you say, and I'm gonna understand it.
What are you talking about? And uh it's it's if I'll listen or not. What's the topic being discussed?
It doesn't matter.
Are you talking about flies? Are you talking about
the insect?
Yeah or flies that like fly fish. fishing? Flies that you tie.
Uh I like to show them to you, and then you go, oh wow, I'd eat that. If I was a fish, I'd eat that. Yep. Hopefully that's what happens.
Okay.
Well, anyway, I
just wanted to let you know about that street.
Thanks. You're welcome.
It's a street in New Jersey, 20 miles away from New York.
22 west of New York City. All right.
From the top.
Nope.
You sent me a video yesterday of a woman who I had heard a story that her husband told
her,
where the her husband's name was Corey.
And when Corey was a kid,
there was a new Corey who moved into school.
And everyone was like, whoa, this Corey's cool.
And then that second Corey became cool Corey.
Right.
And the regular Corey just became regular Corey.
He just be well, he became not cool, Corey because he didn't have cool in front of his name. He'd been the original Corey the whole time, but then they they decided that new Corey was gonna be cool, Corey, and he was just gonna be Cory.
Not cool Corey. And so he went home and he told his mom and he was upset and he said, I want to change my name. I just want to go by my middle name, and I just want to be called Nick because I don't want to be not cool.
I want to be Nick.
And that's a sad story.
That's a sad story.
And his wife was bawling her eyes out. Which, you know.
I don't think it's ball your eyes out worthy.
She was super sad about it.
I get sad. When you tell me things that have happened to you when you like you got whitewashed.
Yeah, I did.
I don't want to cry about it.
No, you want to fight those people.
I want to fight those people. I want names of everybody who did that to you. And I will I will go take a visit to their house.
Yeah.
Now that they're 45 years old and be
like, Well, I can only remember two of them.
Chris and Evan. All right. What are their last names?
Uh I know them.
I'll take a notes.
I'll pull them up in my yearbook and you can see these two. I know they were involved. I can't remember who else.
Caris.
This was sixth grade. Evan.
So I'm sure they're still around. And I'm and I bet karma's caught up. I want to go talk to their wives. Yeah.
Going, do you know who you married?
And I want to go talk to their kids.
And I'll be like, do you even know what your dad did? Yeah. They'll be like, my dad's awesome.
I'll be like, Rudy, you're taking away the wrong message.
Yeah. He should have whitewashed that nerd. And I'll just be sitting in the car. Go fight.
Go fight for me. You're like kind of scooched down
a little bit in your seat so nobody can see. Right. Like, I don't want to be here. Why are you making me relive this drama?
No, I'm gonna call him out. I'm gonna go visit those bullies.
Yeah. Why
did they whitewash you?
I don't know.
Were you being a nerd?
I am a nerd.
Just kidding.
I had I had nerdy engineer glasses.
I am and was a nerd. Everyone is a nerd. It's just dependent on what your nerd behavior is.
Very good. My nerd behavior was existing as a nerd.
Everyone is a nerd.
He was into fighter jets and robots.
That's not nerd behavior. That's a nice thing.
Video games. I know. But in the 90s, late 80s and early 90s, it was a different kind of thing to be a nerd.
So sixth grade?
Because yeah, because I was a nerd and they were into sports.
Why I ought to.
And I probably wanted to play 500, and they said no, kid, and then pushed me down and mushed my face into the snow.
We're gonna find out where they live. Chris and Evan.
Yeah, and a couple other
people.
What school did you go to? Uh I went to Fox Hollow Elementary.
If you went to Hawks Fox
Hollow
in 1992.
Yeah, maybe.
I'm coming for you.
And I'm talking to your wives
and your kids. Yeah, kids
out your wives.
I'm coming to talk to you.
Okay. Give
you a little taste of your own medicine.
Right. Now again, this is this is not cool, Josh. Now cool Josh. No. Still nerd.
Everyone's a nerd. Everyone.
What are you a nerd about?
I like metal detecting.
And you said that more proudly right then than you ever have.
I know, because you know what? Just earn your nerd owner.
Earn your nerd.
Earn your nerd. Own your nerd behavior. Everyone's a nerd.
It's what is your nerd thing? I know people who are nerds about video games. I know people who are nerds about books.
People are nerds about sports.
Yep.
Doesn't mean you deserve to be whitewashed.
No, it doesn't.
No. Chris and Evan, you better watch out.
So this here is uh a list that I see from uh American nostalgia. I don't know who they are, but they have put together a map of America, and on the map is the most famous person born in every single state. So let's start with uh who you know is famous.
In Idaho?
Uh who's the most famous person in Idaho?
Who's the most famous person? Born in Idaho born in Idaho. Oh boy.
Oh boy.
The only name I can think of that comes to mind is Peekaboo Street.
The Olympic skier. Well, it's not Peekaboo. It's Sacagawea.
Oh, Sacagawa.
Yeah, correct. The most famous person born in Idaho. Who's the most famous person? born in Born in Oregon. Our neighboring Oregon. You'll never guess.
I don't know.
It's Beverly Cleary.
Oh,
I love Beverly Cleary.
Yeah.
Neighboring Washington. Most famous person from Washington.
Is it a give me a hint?
Musician.
Musician. Uh Kirk.
60s, no.
Oh, okay. 60s. Brian Wilson.
And I don't know that uh that Kirk Cobain was born in Washington. I certainly know that Nirvana was from there, but uh no, it's Jimi Hendrix.
Oh.
Yeah. Most famous person born in Wyoming.
It's a fun game. I know. I know.
It is. The most famous famous person born in Wyoming is Jackson Pollock.
Oh, serious. I did not know.
not know that.
I did not know that either.
Utah. This one's an interesting one.
Steve Young.
No. Most famous person born in Utah.
Donnie Osman.
Butch Cassidy.
Oh. And now who's to say who's more famous than the next?
This is put together by American nostalgia. Most famous Californian. Now there's a lot of people from California, but were they born there? That's an interesting question.
I don't know.
Marilyn Monroe.
Oh.
Yeah. Andre Augasy is the uh most famous person born in Nevada. Where's John Denver from?
He's probably from Ohio.
No, he's from New Mexico. Most famous person born in New Mexico. John Denver. How about that? Give me a
state.
Give me a state.
What are the qualifications of a famous person?
This is the most famous person.
Listen to me.
I have no information. I have a map that has names on it.
Okay. Who's the most famous person born in North Dakota?
In North Dakota. That would be Louis Lamore.
The author. Okay.
Next. Oh,
we've
Oh, we've not gone through all 50.
Oh boy. Kentucky.
Uh, the most famous person born in Kentucky is Abraham Lincoln.
What?
Yeah.
I thought he was from. I didn't know he was from Kentucky.
He was born in Kentucky. It's not where he rose to presidential fame.
Where did he rise to presidential fame?
Wasn't that Illinois?
Nebraska. Or Indiana. I think it was Nebraska.
No.
Yes. No.
I don't think so.
Okay, say some more.
West Virginia. West Virginia, that would be Chuck Yeager. Chucky?
I don't even know who that is.
I know that name.
Okay. Abraham Lincoln was born in Kentucky. He grew up primarily in Indiana.
Right. When we went through Indiana on our way to Canada, we stopped in the a town where he they had like his place. It was in Indiana.
Really?
You don't remember that?
Not at all.
Oh. They have his face all over that place. They're really big fans of Abraham Lincoln there. Mr. Rogers is the most famous person from Pennsylvania. I don't know why they didn't put Fred Rogers. They just said Mr. Rogers. Uh Henry Ford, the most famous person from Michigan. Dolly Parton, most famous person from Tennessee.
Tennessee.
Yeah.
I could have guessed that one. Yeah.
Rose Parks.
That's what you should say. Give me the name of the person.
And you'll say the state, Rosa Parks.
Mississippi.
Wrong. Alabama.
Dang it.
Elvis Presley.
Uh. Uh. We already said a Tennessee one.
That's right.
I would have guessed it.
And he his Graceland is in Memphis, but that is not where he was born.
It was born in Ohio.
No, he was born in Mississippi. You know who was born in Ohio because we talked about him this morning.
Who?
Neil Armstrong.
Oh, yeah, I knew that.
Louis Armstrong is the most famous person born in.
New York.
Louisiana.
Oh man, I'm terrible at this game.
The most famous person born in Virginia.
No, you tell me the name of the person and I'll tell you where they were born.
You know the answer to this one.
In Virginia?
Who's the most famous person in George Washington?
That's right.
That's right. And the most famous person born in New York
is
Theodore Roosevelt. There's more. We didn't even get through them all.
It's all right.
Frank Sinatra is from
Jersey.
Yes! Would you rather this or that? Halloween week edition.
Would you rather have a pumpkin head? Or candy corn for teeth.
Who put you in charge? I
did.
A pumpkin head.
Yeah, pumpkin fall ahead.
How long?
For the whole month of October.
Or candy corn for teeth.
Yep. Oh BT Dubs. I tried a circus peanut. Thanks to our buddy Doc.
Yeah.
He brought me a
circus peanut.
Circus peanut.
I had a circus peanut. Tell me about it.
The texture was not what I expected.
It never is.
I thought it was going to be softer.
No, they're kind of chewy.
It was a little bit harder and chewier than I anticipated. The flavor was not what I expected.
Because they're banana flavored.
I didn't taste any banana.
Not that's artificial banana. It's not a banana laffy-taffy doesn't taste like you're eating a banana. It's that flavor.
I understand. I didn't hate it as much as everybody claims to hate it. I feel like circus peanuts get a lot of hate, but but they're fine. It was fine. I'm not going to eat a whole bag, but it was all right. Now, back to business. Pumpkin foe ahead.
Now, you quit saying faux ahead. You brought up the circus peanut because uh a week ago or so you asked candy corn versus uh
circus peanut. Is that right? And so talking about candy corn teeth reminded you of the circus peanut thing? Correct.
Okay, got it. I'm taking pumpkin head.
Oh, pumpkin faux ahead. Uh why?
I don't know. Feels like the right thing to do.
Okay.
Doesn't
it? If you have candy corn for teeth, which way do you wear them? Pointed side down or pointed side up. Or either or. So you got one up, one down, one up, one down, one up, one down. See?
No.
I'm gonna I'm gonna pick candy corn for teeth.
Why?
Just to be different.
And point down or point up.
Or alternating. Alternating.
That's weird. That's just gonna be a solid row of candy corn. Just corn. I feel like they have to go pointy side in because that's how corn kernel works.
Yeah, but Yeah,
but.
pointing side down because that's the way they would be inserted properly in your gums.
No, I disagree. As a uh because of what I just said.
If you have your teeth, if you have candy corn for teeth, are they gonna sit in front of your regular teeth or your teeth can't be?
Your teeth are gone. You in your gums in place of teeth is candy
corn.
You're only gonna be able to eat soft foods.
And they're kind of dissolvable. So you better not close your mouth because they'll dissolve, and then you won't have any teeth. So you better you gotta just walk around with your mouth all day. Gross.
Would you rather this or that?
Okay. You played a game just a little bit ago about the most famous people from States.
Okay.
We're gonna play a little game called the most famous pumpkins in movies or TV.
The Great Pumpkin from Charlie Brown.
Yes, he's in here. He's number three.
He's number three.
How is the great pumpkin not number one? He's the great pumpkin. You never even see him.
No, but you hear tail. And he arrives in the shadow of the night.
Okay, you got number three. Who else do you know?
Famous pumpkins?
Yes.
David Pumpkins.
David S. Pumpkins from Saturday Night Live.
Number nine. Okay. This is not good.
You're two for ten. There's not ten famous pumpkins. There is.
Spookley the square pumpkin.
Spookley the square pumpkin is number eight.
You're doing so good. Three of ten.
You're doing that. I have a 30%. I'm not doing very good. You are doing good.
Who are other famous pumpkins? What about that uh that little pumpkin headed thing from Trick or Treat?
Yes, number two.
That's number two.
His name is Sam, apparently.
I've not seen it.
I believe the Great Pumpkin is more famous than Sam.
I didn't even know Sam's name, and I know the Great Pumpkin quite well. So I'm gonna disagree with this list. What is the most famous uh pumpkin? I know like Jack Skellington is a skeleton. He's the pumpkin king.
Yes.
But he is not a pumpkin.
Number four.
He's not a pumpkin.
He is the pumpkin king, though.
He wears a pumpkin on his head in one dance. He's not a pumpkin. He shouldn't be on the list of best pumpkins. He's a skeleton. I hate this list.
You're doing great, though. You really are doing so good. Okay.
I might need some help.
You with the other. I got four. No, you have five.
I got half of them.
Yeah.
Well, look at me go.
Okay, what you haven't said is Pumpkin Head from the Pumpkin Head series.
You're right. I didn't say that.
There are four movies of that show. I've not ever heard of that.
The pumpkin head series? Oh, pumpkin head.
Then there's David S. Pumpkins, who you said.
There's Spookley, who you said. The Headless Horseman. Okay. Also not a pumpkin.
But he did wear it as a head.
And his name is is he, he's not Ichabod. What's his name?
Uh just the Headless Horseman.
That's his name. Yeah. Okay. But uh also he throws the pumpkin heads ablaze.
Correct.
So I'm I'm gonna go ahead and say that uh he doesn't count as a pumpkin.
Ickabody.
to I gotta watch that. I loved that cartoon. And we could watch Sleepy Hollow because I haven't seen it.
You just you just want to watch Chris Dina reach.
I know, you need more reminders of who you are not.
Number six is the pumpkin mask in Halloween three.
Cool. So famous.
And you're gonna love this one. The pumpkin carriage from Cinderella.
Not!
It's a pumpkin.
Okay, but also
I'm going to excuse that. That's more of a pumpkin than Jack's skeleton. Then the pumpkin king is number four. The great pumpkin is number three.
Sam from Trick or Treat is number two. number two What's number one? Number one is the Jack O'Lantern from the opening credits of Halloween. Disagree.
What would you put as number one?
The Great Pumpkin.
You don't even ever see him.
You don't have to.
That's the whole point about the Great Pumpkin. How can he be famous if you don't even know what he looks like?
Delivers treats in the night. He's the great pumpkin.
How great is he if you don't even know what he looks like.
He looks great. He looks grand. He looks large. And he appears over the pumpkin patch. The great pumpkin's number one. That list is awful.
Well, I didn't make it.
However, you brought it to the show. So who made that list.
I don't know. Uh.
Someone who
loves the Halloween movie. Also, smashing pumpkins didn't even make the list.
That's not a pumpkin. That's a band.
Settle down.
You're naming things that aren't pumpkins.
Settle down, Josh.
You
told me uh just the other day that David S. Pumpkins is 10 years old. Ten years old.
I can't believe that. Still scaring you in the elevator.
I'm David Pump.
A hundred floors of terror. Any questions? Okay.
I think that should wrap it up for the day. We did get a correction. Should we bring this to attention?
Well, I
don't know if it's necessarily correction as much as it's information. It's it is true information. We were talking about famous people from every state.
And you said that Abraham Lincoln was the most famous from the. No, I'll have to go back. Give me two seconds. Hold on.
I can't remember where you said he was born.
He was He was he was born in Kentucky.
Yes, that's right.
Right.
And then we said that he grew up in Indiana.
And then we but you looked that up. Yeah, I did.
Google said that.
And then we got a phone call from somebody who said that he he
was from Springfield, Illinois.
That's right. And the guy who sent us the message is in Springfield, or right?
He's in Illinois. Yes.
Himself. He's like, he practiced law here.
Okay. So Which
is true.
Abraham Lincoln moved around.
That's right. His name's Kevin. Uh Kevin in Springfield, uh, who is listening on the app in Springfield, sent us uh a shout out through the app and let us know that Lincoln.
Abraham.
Abraham Lincoln, 16th president.
Did you say Abraham Lincoln?
12th. Or 16th. It's one of them's the birthday. And now I feel like my presidential knowledge has completely escaped me because I haven't had to tap into it in forever.
How much presidential knowledge do you know?
I a little more than I thought I knew.
What do you know?
He was born on the 12th. He was the 16th president. I knew I get the 12th and the 16th back and forth, but I got it right.
Good job, Josh.
Yeah. February 12th was his birthday. February 22nd is George Washington's birthday. That's why we celebrate President's Day in February because of those two fine gentlemen. Let's wrap up this show. We've talked enough. Have a great rest of your Tuesday. Tomorrow's garbage day. Don't forget.
Oh, yeah. I was leaving today and the neighbors had their garbage.
I know. I went, it's not garbage.
Yeah, I said it's Tuesday.
Yeah.
You guys are messed up. But not before I said, wait a minute, we got to get our garbage. And then I went, it's Tuesday.
Yeah. Have a good day. See you tomorrow.
Bye.
