What is Gospel Portions?

Reminders of the gospel that was preached to you, which you received, in which you stand, and by which you are being saved, that you may hold fast to the word preached to you.

Ryan Bush:

Jesus is a redeemer. That is his name. He came into the world on this very business to redeem people, to redeem them from all iniquity, from this present evil world, from our vain manner of living. He has shed his precious blood to purchase us. We are bought with a price. We are none of our own. We are His, the purchase of His blood and we may be confident that He dearly loves us for He dearly bought us And if He had not dearly loved us, He would never have given Himself for us. That was the highest testimony of His love. He loved us and washed us from our sins in His blood. He will redeem us from the wrath to come. John Bunyan.

Ryan Bush:

The door of thy mercy stands open all day to the needy and poor who knock by the way. No sinner shall ever be empty, sent back, who comes seeking mercy for Jesus' dear sake. Thy mercy in Jesus exempts me from hell. Its glories I'll sing and its wonders I'll tell. Twas Jesus the friend when He hung on the tree that opened the channel of mercy for me. John Stocker
