Even Shlomo - Rav Shlomo Carlebach zt"l on the Weekly Parsha

In one of the most hidden episodes of the Torah, Parshat Balak reveals a dimension of Hashem’s love that we never even knew was happening. Am Yisrael was entirely unaware while curses were being transformed into blessings, because Hashem simply refused to hear anything negative about His people.

Rav Shlomo Katz and the chevra of Shirat David take us deep into the teachings of the Izhbitzer and Chazal, showing how the story of Bilam, the story of Iyov, and the Five Books of the Torah form a complete spiritual picture: what we feel when Hashem seems absent, and what Hashem feels when we seem absent. The answer? He’s always thinking about us.

A perfect entry into the Three Weeks with clarity and compassion.

What is Even Shlomo - Rav Shlomo Carlebach zt"l on the Weekly Parsha?

Rav Shlomo Katz explores the teachings of Rav Shlomo Carlebach zt"l on the Parsha with the sefer Even Shlomo

Morning, morning, morning, morning, morning. Okay, now we're ready. Now we're ready. Good morning.

בוקר טוב, everybody. It is now. Okay. And we can pass, 292, we can pass these around.

In אבן שלמה we're on page 292. We have a beautiful, beautiful, beautiful, Thank you. ישביצר רב שלמה morning, this morning, on, on the פרשה. This is, we're going to be doing this, 291, page 291.

And for the רפואה שלמה of our גיבורים, our פצועים that need רפואה שלמה בעזרת השם. This is one of the, this is one of the most incredible פרשיות because it's so hidden. It's so נסתר.

This פרשה is so hidden. It is so unclear, like we say every single year. It's to remind us of something very important. This is a פרשה that we did not know about until we started learning Torah after the Torah was written, because we're not involved in this פרשה.

We're not in this פרשה. עם ישראל is the center obviously of the פרשה because it's about cursing, comes out as blessings to עם ישראל, but really, where we are, we don't play any role here. It's כביכול a story that has nothing to do with us, but it has everything in the world to do with us. And it's to understand this, what's the secret of this פרשה, פרשת בלק, there's a גמרא.

There's a line in the גמרא that that רב שלמה is going to teach us that will help us understand what's going on over here. So, this is the, this is, you see where it says הגמרא אומרת on 291? Beneath the three lines. We're going to do the middle of a long, long piece explaining to us the שייכות of of this פרשה here in in the story. It seems as if, if פרשת בלק was never in, חס ושלום, was not written in the Torah, the story of עם ישראל could have continued without a problem.

There's nothing here, so to speak, on the surface that changes the projectory or the direction of anything. That's what it seems like, נכון? You with me? פרשת בלק, let's say, חס ושלום, it would be plucked. Is there a מלחמה at the end? At the end, end of the פרשה. Saying the whole story of בלק and then פנחס comes and there's a whole תורה here why does פנחס come at the end of this שבת and not just start next שבת with פרשת פנחס? But if you plucked out the whole story of בלק, what would, what would be the problem with continuing פרשת פנחס? Nothing.

It's what it seems like. Okay, let's, let's look here. There's something beautiful, really beautiful.

Mic drop. Separate בילעם from the תורה. What's, what's the, wait a second. I'm going to read that again, okay? I'm going to read this again.

This is not רב שלמה טייטש, meaning it's, the גמרא says this. Like אריה said, why are you, why are you separating בילעם? And, and why are you also letting me know here that משה רבינו wrote the story of איוב? Also very interesting. Okay.

We have all these stories in the תורה where there's enemies that wanted to wipe us out. We דאווענען, השם saved us.

We ate. We had a סעודה. We didn't even know that this story was taking place, that בלק and בילעם wanted us to be cursed.

בלק wanted us to be cursed. We didn't even know about it. Can you show רב חיים שלמה where we are in the? Thank you.

We would have, we would have never known about this. That's what we're saying. We would have never known about this whole story of בלק and בילעם had משה רבינו not had clear prophecy. Okay.

Everything okay over here? You're on 291? Yeah. 291. 292. Sorry, I guess that I have, I have a different version.

Try 292. 292, 291. We have a number different. Oh, sorry, sorry.

Okay. I'll tell the חבר'ה that printed this to to fix it. Now, האישביצר, האישביצר אומר, you should know that there's certain חבר'ה, it's actually very beautiful, that are learning this like, this is really חבר'ה, they're learning this בפנימיות every week, and every week they send me הערות and תיקונים and different things for future. No, I love it.

It's like דיוקים. That's how, that's the only way to get things better. And they always feel so bad, they're like, It's like, are you kidding me? That's the best.

That's how, that's how we're going to fix it for the future. Okay. This is an amazing האישביצר תורה.

It's not in פרשת בלק. It's in, it's in the ליקוטים on תהילים in the end of the מי השילוח. So listen how this, this idea is developed, and then we'll see it inside hopefully בעזרת השם.

It's possible to love someone very much when they're right in front of me. If a guy asks me for a favor, I'll do anything for him.

But the always the question is, am I thinking about this person when they're not right in front of me? That's easy. Like we're right now in front of each other, right? Are we thinking about anyone that's not in this room right now? So, the שאלה is when you're in front of me, מילא, I'll, I'll feel the love, I'll want to reciprocate love, whatever it is. But when you're not in front of me, then what's the relationship like? You can ask a similar question about השם.

God is the creator, he continues to create and leads the world, and when he's revealed in the world, we יידן are on the top of the world. Now, this is a far out concept.

I want to know what is השם doing when he's just השם and השם-ing? When he's just him and himself, when he's not כביכול dealing, when it's not about dealing with with individuals, what's the ריבונו של עולם's מחשבות when he's all alone? I'm going to keep on saying that word over and over again, so to speak. Now he says, listen, what I just said right now, had the האישביצר not brought this up as a teaching, it'd be a total חילול השם to say such words because what are you talking about? When השם is only alone with himself. But he says this is an האישביצר.

I'm standing on the shoulders of the האישביצר that brings this out. There's a פסוק in תהילים that says like this.

That's what the פסוק says. I want to hear what השם is talking about when he's all alone. The האישביצר says.

והמשך הוא, and what is the rest of the פסוק? What is השם, what is השם speaking about when he's all alone in this world? Is that he's speaking words of peace to his people and to his חסידים. אם נאמר זאת בלשון בני אדם, humanly speaking, what does this mean?

That the ריבונו של עולם is thinking about us all the time even when so to speak, we're not the center of attention. Like it's not about us, like something's happening, it's not about us, what's the ריבונו של עולם thinking about? Also us. In a nutshell, that's the point of פרשת בלק. In a, in a nutshell.

It's not about us, so to speak. Meaning, of course, it's about us because it's a guy that wants to try to curse us. It's always about us. But really, השם is, the האישביצר is saying he's always thinking about us even when we're not around.

Now, it's less important to me to know what the האישביצר is saying about a פירוש and a פסוק in תהילים than it is to understand למעשה what does that have to do with my life? What does this teaching have to do with my world? With the way that I operate, with the way that we conduct relationships וכולי. So look, what did the גמרא, what did the גמרא בבא בתרא say? What were the three things משה רבינו, I don't know, again, why did the תורה have to mention this? Why did the גמרא have to say this? What are the three things the גמרא says? תורה, איוב and בילעם, or תורה, בילעם and איוב, you could say, right? Okay. חמישה חומשי תורה, everyone knew that till now that משה רבינו wrote that? Yes.

Okay, last lap. It was part of it. Right, now if בילעם wasn't part of חמישה חומשי תורה, we would be reading it every year. But, but would I be under the assumption that משה רבינו wrote it? No.

Wasn't there. Now איוב, איוב's an interesting one. As a גמרא that says that משה was איוב.

But that doesn't sort it, because even if the גמרא says he was him, even more so, right? One of the advisors, and איוב, and who else was was an advisor to פרעה? So, there's a lot of connections going to be made over here. A lot of different things are going to happen over here. Let's see how he takes it.

This is wondrous. So generally, the five books, let's just take out for a second פרשת בלק, our five books of השם speaking to us, in front of us.

Even if stories that happened before we were there, it's, it's clear that he's, it's about us. Including דברים, but all of ספר דברים in there. For sure.

פרשת בלק is what השם is speaking about amongst himself. That's what it represents.

I'll just tell you something. I, I, I, I had this experience once that my children were listening to a, a concert that I was doing in Canada, in Toronto. They were either watching it online or my wife was playing them a replay.

Um, when I wasn't home, okay? I came back from Toronto a few days later, I'll never forget this. And there's a glow in my, one of my children's eyes. And I said, I said, what, what happened? And she said, we heard what you, we were listening to the concert that you did in Toronto. I said, yeah, you've heard it many times, like, you know, you've heard Aba play.

They said, no, but we heard what you said about us in Toronto. I said, what did I say? He said, so, so my daughter said, you said a really cute story about how much we made you, we made you laugh about something and brought you שמחה. I said, yeah, but that, you know, I tell you guys that all the time. We're always like this.

They said, yeah, but while you were there, we realized, we heard that you were thinking about us. It's my, it's my, and, and somehow that meant infinitely more to them than if they're, it's happening live. Oh, you're thinking about us when you're not here, when you're there. And it was this, it was this תורה like in front of me.

Like how much it means to them when you find out that someone said something nice about you when you're not in front of them. That's פרשת בלק. Okay?

I just know what, what is this פרשה saying? השם refuses to hear slander about יידן.

That's what this פרשה is all about. How deep this is.

This is based on a lot of מפרשים that say what בילעם, בלק knew that בילעם had this נבואה. So בילעם could also show the ריבונו של עולם and remind him, listen, not just of all the bad things we did until now, but look, you know what it's going to be like for thousands of years, they're going to keep on sinning. There's going to be a time where יידן are going to totally give up on שבת, כשרות, hate each other, speak ill about each other, judge each other.

בלק wanted בילעם to bring that before the ריבונו של עולם. Now I want to say a תורה now, I don't know if it connects or not, meaning, I don't know if it's true, but I'm going to say a חצפה, like a wild ישביצר type of תורה, okay? Where did God so to speak learn about this to not believe any לשון הרע about יידן? Where else did this happen but on the flip side that השם so to speak spoke לשון הרע about יידן and someone refused to listen. spoke about עם ישראל and משה said, oh, מחני נא מספרך.

משה רבינו, even before, even before מחני נא, when when משה רבינו was up on the mountain and השם says לך רד כי שיחת עמך, you see there's tension there that that משה רבינו is like, I don't, I don't, I don't believe it. I won't believe that that, you know, יידן did bad things. So so the ריבונו של עולם says, you know what? You're right, I shouldn't say לשון הרע. Um, go down and see for yourself what I what I just said.

That's a pretty wild תורה, but but at somewhere it may, it may connect somewhere. בלק and בילעם want to show the ריבונו של עולם all the, all the עגלי זהב we ever did, all the golden calves we worshiped, all the, all the things we got stuck in. וזהו עומק העמקים on the bottom. I don't know if it's by the bottom on you.

Is it? Okay. Like sometimes I, I may love someone and I don't mind listening when someone says something, something bad about, right? That's one level of a relationship. I love them but I don't mind hearing their when someone says something bad about them.

But then there are people that I love so much, you could tell me every עבירה they ever did and it doesn't שטר with me. It doesn't mess me up. It doesn't go inside.

I hear it but it doesn't do anything to me. My love for them, my belief in them, my connection to them is not blemished at all. So which one was השם? Which one was השם? The first type of relationship or the second? Look at what he says.

It doesn't say השם didn't listen to them. Okay, the word אבה? What does that word mean? Do you know? אבה is רצון.

Meaning, the, the ריבונו של עולם had no interest in, it's not that he didn't listen, ולא אבה השם אלוקיך. He had no desire to hear anything they wanted to say. Nothing. בכלל, בכלל, no.

He refused to listen. So he continues here and he says, Remember, אבי, what's the טראפ? It's a famous one.

It's one of the famous שלשלתs in the Torah. And what is that referring to? His refusal to not fall with אשת פוטיפר, right?

He, he, he wasn't capable of. It's even stronger than וימאן. Because וימאן means there's a struggle.

That's why the שלשלת is there. There's a struggle going on. יוסף, אשת פוטיפר, what חז"ל tells us about her seduction on that day, no normal human being could have, could have gone through that. There's a struggle.

I'm going up and down, maybe השם will be okay with it, but maybe not. But at the end, he went, he went through it. לא אבה means there was not even a struggle to hear the לשון הרע. I have no, it doesn't touch me at all.

There's no ניסיון of it. There's no, nothing. I don't want to hear about it. Now, can you imagine, we're going into the three weeks now, right? Can you imagine if we went into the three weeks with an energy of לא אבה.

Or וימאן. I'll hear it, I'll struggle with it, but at the end I won't believe it.

I don't want to hear it. This is my three weeks. I am not, לא מעניין אותי.

I refuse to hear anything.

We're not getting too much into it here, but obviously what you know the דין, did you ever see a, I, I actually saw a חליצה once. Did you, you saw it once? In Canada? In NYU, I think it was הרב אהרון סולובייצ'יק performed it. Yeah, he performed a חליצה. Yeah.

My rebbi in, in high school in Los Angeles, Rabbi Sauer, he took us to, some, it was a, it was a strange, he took us to a חליצה. ממש חליצה סנדל, pulling off the shoe, it's really, it's really unbelievable. It was located, I wasn't there. What's a חליצה? חליצה is when, when there's a דין of יבום, there's a, when there's a situation where somehow, there's a, because of a death in the family, there's a דין that you have to marry now your, your deceased brother's wife.

And then יבום, but חליצה is getting you out of it. But the, but the טקס is very strange, to say the least. I don't know. Spitting shoes, the whole thing is weird and also it's like they're still your family.

Like it's your sister-in-law, you know? It's a very, it's a very strange situation. But by there, by חליצה, לא אבה יבמי, meaning that my, my, the one that I'm that's supposed to מיבם me, לא אבה. He has no, he refuses, not even a struggle. Like that's not going to happen, right?

That's what it means, אבה. Now listen, now you got to really open your hearts. What is the book of איוב all about?

The story of איוב is a different story. It's not בלק and it's not חמישה חומשי תורה. The story of איוב, so to speak, represents a world of what does a person think when it seems that God is not around.

איוב is, I'm just getting so emotional. Did you see yesterday, one of the לוויות, one of the mother, a heilige mother. It's a family that made עליה from France. I forgot the last name.

The son's boy, his name was first name was משה נסים. I think it's שחר. I don't remember right now. One of the boys, one of our boys that was killed two nights ago.

So, the mother gets up and she says, today י"ב תמוז. And she says with such תמימות, they must be חב"ד, בעלי תשובה, because she said, today is supposed to be, today is a חג חסידי. You saw this? So deep. She says, today is a חג חסידי.

You know, י"ב, י"ג תמוז. It's the day of the liberation of the פרידקע רבי, the חסיד from jail. It's a big day. Rav Ginsburgh has a big התוועדות tonight and for חב"ד.

everyone, it's a big day in חב"ד. And, um, she said, אבל, היום זה גם היום הולדת שלי, the mother says. And now my יארצייט, birthday, יארצייט with you, I'm never going to celebrate my birthday again. איוב.

So what's איוב? איוב, איוב, איוב's relationship is כאילו, ריבונו של עולם, you're not in front of me. Like, I don't feel like you're גלוי. I, I don't understand, it's all concealed and dark. That's what ספר איוב, so to speak, represents, right?

Like to a Jew in Auschwitz who's angry at God because God's hiding. Now he's explaining the גמרא.

That's what רב שלמה is doing. He's saying, why did the גמרא have to tell us that he wrote בלק and איוב? Because משה רבינו wrote down for us both of the תורות. הוא כתב את התורה של מה בן אנוש חושב בשעה שאלוקים לא לידו כביכול, he wrote the תורה of what does a human being think at a time where God seems to be not next to him, right? That's what? What ספר is that?

And he also wrote the תורה of what is God thinking about when so to speak, יידן aren't the center of attention and in front of him. How גאונות this is. You should know, this is one of the, in my humble opinion, one of the most biggest חידושים I ever saw from רב שלמה. What he did, what he did with this right now.

Now that's the humility. He's saying, you see how deep this is? Only the אישביצר could say this. The only problem is the אישביצר didn't say this.

The אישביצר opened the פתח of understanding, אשמעה מה ידבר הקל, right? But then he took it and went thousands of miles deeper with it, right? To give a to the מחבר. But he's saying two תורות. This reason is three. It's really three.

The תורה that he says to us, פנים אל פנים. Right. That's the חמישה חומשי. Yeah, yeah.

So there's three really. He's talking about saying two. But there's really three. Two he's saying, two when we're not the center of the attention, and two when we are and we feel the absence of his presence.

That's the איוב part. Right. No, no, no, this, so again, the חמישה חומשי תורה are what? So to speak, the תורה, like that.

Without, we don't have any struggles with with so much, it's, it's right in front of us, right? Yes, but I, for me, the נקודה is we get that. And we have to remember that even when we're in these other situations where it seems, forget, forget about us. You're 100% right, but I bless you to never say that when you if you go to a שבעה house when someone's living like איוב. That's what, but this, what this תורה is for.

Of course you're right. But all those וורטs don't help me at all when I'm experiencing איוב. It's for me, not for them.

100%. ישנם, we are we? There are times I feel like איוב.

It's funny, I feel like this war has been such a mixture of איוב and, and בלק. זאת אומרת, the energy of איוב and בלק, like back and forth, like, what is the ריבונו של עולם thinking about when we're not even here? When things are exploding in different countries and we're not even, right? And then sometime I feel like איוב when I see my, my children with PTSD, you know, or things like that. It's both.

And משה רבינו wrote both תורות. That's the point, meaning all the תורות, right? But definitely these ספרים. This is the, that's the most important thing.

I just, I have to share, so there's like jumping off the page. You know, this right before שבת, as we were talking about in our, in our chat, like a very הילג ייד was נפטר. You know, he was really, he was really something else.

I knew him. I had the זכות to know him. He was really, this was a, this was a חסיד.

This guy was, was really, a, an amazing individual. His son, his name is יהודה, has been in my brother's band for many years. יהודה also, the flute and his nephew, יוני, יוני לובר, is in איתן's band also for years, electric guitar. We've been, we've been in very close to the פיאמנטה family for many.

I, I was friendly with, was closer to his brother יוסף, על השלום, the guitarist who played your wedding. Maybe אבי did too, we'll find out. He's working on it. You found out? No, I remembered.

Okay, you could also look at an album. Were there pictures back then? I'm kidding, I'm kidding, I'm kidding. By the way, the resolution on the video is so awful. I know, I know.

I know, I know. Even mine, and I'm, I'm after you, it's not okay. So, I want to say something about אבי, אבי פיאמנטה, because in this context, about like a person that, that can go through a, a בשורה of איוב and yet still feel like, like it's פרשת בלק, okay? When I say פרשת בלק, meaning, wow, what the ריבונו של עולם is thinking about me. אבי had a lot of children, I think eight children.

And at the לוויה, um, one, um, one of the kids screamed out, he said, he said, אבא מתוק, אנחנו עוד רגע מתעוררים. That's what, that's what the son said. Sweet father, עוד רגע, in, in just a moment, we're all going to finally wake up. It's like, you're going, אבי died 69 years old suddenly ערב שבת in the shower.

The, השם ירחם, he was in פמונה, it was a whole story, it was a whole, whole story. But that's a ייד that חלילה, we should never, אל תביאנו לידי ניסיון. That's a ייד that דייקא during a בשורת איוב can tune in to the חמישה חומשי תורה and to tune into what the point of פרשת בלק is also. That's the, that's the highest ירושה you could give over to a child, in my humble opinion.

Highest ירושה you can give over to a child.

באותה שעה, and when I, when I feel like השם's not there, באותה שעה, אני עושה את כל העבירות, מפני שאם הייתי מודע לגמרי לנוכחות השם, לא הייתי מסוגל לכתוב. If a person was really aware with the אמת of the consciousness, with the real awareness of of the reality that השם is everything, אין עוד מלבדו, and he's everywhere, you wouldn't be able to sin. You're only able to sin because you feel like השם decided to play hide and seek and you're done with this game. You're done with it.

יידן are constantly sinning. That's what בלעם says to God. How?

It's amazing. Now he connects the two. He said, how did משה רבינו fix what the טענה of בלק and בלעם really was? By writing ספר איוב. How? How did, מה הקשר?

This is unbelievable, right? He's channeling the deepest depths of the משלח. He's saying, משה רבינו is saying to השם, we only sin when it seems like you're not next to us. How could you fix this? I don't even have words to say how deep this is.

I have no words. I באמת, I have nothing to say over here. I have nothing to say over here, this is so, this is so out there. השם, give us a, give us a fighting chance to bring this down.משה רבינו is the סניגור.

He's the ר' לוי יצחק, חלילה. I mean ר' לוי יצחק מברדיטשב's energy is very present in משה רבינו's life, right? What is משה רבינו's whole thing before השם? The only reason they sin is because they don't feel that they're, that you're there. That's why they sin. They miscalculated the זמן, and then they felt like you left them, then they sinned with the golden calf.

And with the מרגלים, there was a לימוד זכות as well, and that's how they drew down the י"ג מדות של רחמים over there as well. פרשת בלק is showing us, משה רבינו wrote it down to show יידן, השם is always thinking about you even when, even when it seems like you're not there. And איוב is showing us how the רבונו של עולם has to deal with people that feel that the רבונו של עולם is not in their lives, allowing them to sin. So when it's clear to me that השם is also there next to me, even when I'm not right next to him or he's not right next to me, that's the fixing that's taking place over here.

So איוב is for השם? It's like משה רבינו's תפילה to השם? It is משה רבינו's תפילה to השם. I'm almost, I'm so, I'm so wanting to say yes. But he's going to change, if if the teaching stopped here, I'd say yes, but because he changes it in a second, I want to hold off with that. It could be.

Imagine I'm really angry at someone that I love and I think they're not around. And then suddenly I realize that person was thinking about me all the time.

My whole relationship to that person changes when I know this. Let's bring this down. Let's bring this down. I'll tell you, I'll tell you something.

I'll I'll try to bring it down to here. The night my חוה was born, my חוה גאולה was born, so there was someone in my life that I couldn't, I couldn't believe that, and I was certain that my father had sent them a message that I just had a kid. And I was like, and this is already like the day after, I was like, I'm, I can't believe that I, I can't believe I didn't hear from this person. This is someone very close to me.

And then the the day later, in the morning, I got all these text messages at once, like tons of different texts at once. And what, what did I, all these ברכות and מזל טובs and love. And what did I, what did I find out? That they were on a plane that didn't have Wi-Fi, but they thought they had Wi-Fi that was going through. So they've heard about it.

They started writing me all these messages. And then I got it afterwards, למפרע, that they were thinking about me the whole time. So then what ended up happening? It's a completely, it's a complete, it's a complete change in my, in the relationship that I thought was maybe for a few seconds, you know, עגום. Yeah, for a few seconds, you know, someone very, very close.

So when I realized they were thinking about me all the time, and they were, meaning when I realized they were right there with me the whole time, what happens to anything that I thought about them at that moment? That's the point of, that's the point of of what's going on in this teaching over here. Now to go back to what we brought up before. Although not even maybe so to speak, because if משה רבינו wrote it, it could be that that was there already. So בלעם's coming to, בלעם's coming to השם saying, hey, look, look at what people think about you.

Look at what יידן think about you. משה רבינו says, oh, that, you're digging that book? I'm going to write down what's going on right now to counter the book that you brought before השם to try to get us down.

I'm going to write this ספר now to counter this. Now Steve, you're going to feel better in your heart. In order to succeed in this world as a

You have to walk with these three different types of book. Those are for the times that השם is speaking to me directly and he's talking to me and I'm talking to השם.

That's a relationship back and forth. We're in front of him. This is the, it's חי וקיים, right? Maybe hard, maybe good, maybe, but it's revealed. It's the Torah.

It's all in front of me, right? Now, what else do you need? This is hard to swallow, but if if we didn't need it, it wouldn't be put into the תנ"ך. צריך את ספר איוב, which means that represents the world of מה הוא חושב על השם כשהשם לא בסביבה כביכול.

What do you think of God when God seems to be not around? And you need to walk around your life with the פרשה of בלעם, so it'll be clear to you what does השם think of you when when it seems like you yourself are not, are not around so much, like you're not part of the story. To tie all this together, like there's there's so many place, I want to stop here, but there's so many different things we could do with this. משה רבינו takes this to the נחש and everything and he does a lot of different things over here, but you know what's so deep about the story of איוב in this context? Because as much as איוב suffered tremendously, could it be that the point of פרשת of ספר איוב is to show us what a real מאמין looks like? Did איוב believe in the רבונו של עולם? Yes.

איוב may be one of the greatest examples of someone who believes in השם. You see, if בלק, if you want to say like this, that בלעם came with ספר איוב to try to get us into trouble of, look at a person that has טענות on you, משה רבינו is countering it and השם is looking at בלק and בלעם and saying, you guys crazy? This person, this type of Jew who went through Auschwitz, איוב, this type of Jew like the mother that buried her son yesterday, in the height and depth of their pain and of trying to understand how to relate to me, השם speak saying כביכול, as so concealed, all they can think about is השם. That's all they could think about. That's all they could think about.

People that are suffering so much, מה ידא לך, what's the only thing they could keep on thinking about? Why did you abandon me? You're still thinking about you. It's about, it's about me, right? So that's the תורה of משה רבינו showing us like a ייד, a thing that each of us go through in our life. When it seems that השם is not there. פרשת בלעם, בלק, is all about when it seems like יידן aren't there.

What does השם think of? And חמישה חומשי תורה are both of them together. This, חברה, go back to the beginning, explains to us one line in the גמרא. What was the שאלה we had in the beginning? Why does the, why does the גמרא tell us that he wrote בלעם separately? Because that's a whole פרשה in its own.

And it counters איוב. That's the point. It counters what happens to a person through experiencing ספר איוב in this world when השם is not there, so to speak. So you have השם not being there, you have יידן not being there, and you have חמישה חומשי תורה where it's all together.

געוואלד, right? This is, and you realize this is, this was said in about three and a half minutes in 1979. This is a three and a half minutes of a, of like a 45 minute transcript. The Torah is so deep, we should just jump into it and we should go into this, this תקופה and this זמן that we have of ולא אבה, ולא אבה, שלמה, זאב, דוב, חיים שלמה, ולא אבה.

We have no interest. Like השם had no interest to hear what בלעם and בלק had to say. I have no interest to hear whenever any other person will say another bad thing about another ייד. I have no interest.

That'll be the greatest לימוד we could have from פרשת בלעם, בלק, בלעם. Amen. Yeah.
