Corey just told me he's blessed.

So am I.

From the gym to the screen, yeah,

we cover it all.

Midday motivation every time you press

call.

Lunch with the Clydesdale.

Cowboy bring the heat.

Crossfit, boobies, music on repeat.

Half hour hustle, yeah,

we building that brand.

Grab a plate, tune in now,

you're part of the fam.

It's lunch time.

What's going on, everybody?

All right, y'all.

This is getting stronger and stronger.

I like it.

I like it.

I mean, it's like anything else, dude,

with practice, right?

Get rid of that pneumonia.

Like you get a little more lungs,

a little more boisterous with it.

I am glad you brought that up.

I hadn't thought about that in a while.

How does it feel to not be able

to actually be able to use, you know.

My lungs?

The vast majority of your lungs.

Holy smokes.

It is honestly night and day.

And I felt it completely at WFP.

Oh, I bet.

Because you weren't like.

literally like i'm moving up and down the

media pit and generally like at syndicate

i just like opt rested on the barricade

thing where at wfp i was like moving

and shaking and running around to the

finish line and you know it helps when

you lose a little bit of weight too

like you can move like this shirt dude

i haven't worn this shirt in like three

years you see

Yeah, it's Green Lantern shirt.

I get it.

I wasn't afraid.

Yeah, obviously.

I got the ring.

Obviously.

Or at least a reasonable facsimile thereof

printed on a t-shirt and it's fine.

Same thing, really.

Same thing.

uh nicole i could not agree with you

more i have been ripping hairs out of

my head all day with the complete

ineptness of the people i work with i

don't know if i've said this on the

show but i hate my job oh breaking

news yo

breaking news holy smokes uh scott doesn't

like his job i don't even know god

that's that's a revelation honestly so i'm

doing i'm working this big uat project

it's it has gone horribly like i have

written about forty bug tickets and thirty

are still outstanding

help desk is not really helping you out

and switch well this is our vendor this

is this is our vendor um and um

anyway it's not going well it goes until

the fifteenth of september so i get to

do this for another what week and a

half and then on the sixteenth of

september i'm hopping on a plane and i'm

going to see baby girl in montana montana

big sky country

Can I give you some free advice when

you go to Montana?

Don't antagonize the buffalo.

When I moved my daughter out there,

we stopped at the Badlands.

We see some bison off in the distance.

My daughter's like, she's a photographer.

I'd like to get some pictures.

So she goes down over this knoll,

and she's taking a picture of this bison,

which she has given me framed on a

canvas,

and it's hanging in my living room.

Fancy.

She walks up over the knoll with a

bison beside her.

I am shitting my pants.

My daughter's just like, meh.

whatever i'm like did you not see it

she goes yeah didn't want to startle it

didn't want to startle it she's the next

green lantern because i was afraid she was

not so instead i just let it back

over here to where you were it's fine

oh my lord no thank you no thank

you i don't want nothing to do with

that uh buffalo are just bigger sheep

right

Yeah, slightly.

It's fine.

I just keep thinking about, like,

I've heard several different stories of,

like,

people trying to get pictures of them and

thinking that they're like cows where you

just reach out and just pet one.

And no, don't do that.

It's a terrible idea.

Fakes of Almost Know,

does your boss watch the show?

I hope not.

We're going to find out next week.

Listen,

I've talked shit smack about my job on

this show enough times that if he watched,

I would know.

But to be honest,

he's bitching about the same stuff I am.

Yeah.

We're in this together.

The thirty bugs affect him as much as

they affect me.

He just doesn't have a public platform to

bitch about it with.

I haven't named who the vendor is.

I have not.

Nor will we.

Nor will I. Not doing that.

I haven't named the exact project that I'm

working on.

No.

So unless you work intimately with me,

you have no freaking clue what I'm talking

about other than the aggravation.

Correct.

Which is fine.

Not a big deal.

I'm confused.

Jody says your background is reversed and

it's not for me.

No, it's not for me either.

so this is where my shirt is this

is where jerry started celebrating a

three-day weekend a little early

Getting into the sauce.

What are you pulling out of them cabinets

there, Jody?

She might be in an RV down in

Baton Rouge getting ready for that

Saturday night boo-ha.

They are.

I can promise you there are people that

are currently right now getting in the

sauce, getting ready for tomorrow night.

That's a thing.

It happens at Penn State, too.

Like...

The football field,

I haven't been there in a while,

but the football field started as an

agricultural school.

So there are cow fields.

The stadium is in the middle of a

cow field.

They put the cows in the barn and

they open that up for tailgaters.

So you're literally parking in fields.

That sounds like a terrible idea.

Watch out for the cow patty.

That sounds like a terrible idea.

Yeah.

Hi, friends.

I'm in Alabama for my first Alabama

football game.

Roll Tide.

Enjoy yourself.

No, my imam shirt was never.

It's been there the entire time.

It hasn't gone anywhere.

It's been hanging there since the day I

put the pushpins in it.

It has not moved.

And if it did,

we would start to worry.

A hundred percent.

If I came in and it was on

that side, I would be wondering,

I'd be absolutely worried.

Like there's my daughter's pictures that

she drew axolotl right there and

No, it's been there the entire time.

Yes, Terry.

They switched what they agricult.

Yeah, it's still agriculture.

It's just different.

It's just a different product.

They went from corn to Coke.

Yeah, whatever.

It's fine.

It's fine.

Who knew Pennsylvania was a good climate

to grow coca leaves?

You never know.

Yeah.

Anyway.

Since we're talking college football,

I have one little treat for you.

Let me... Maybe this one?

Okay.

We talked about Annie Agar doing the thing

with Jamar Chase.

Yep.

Have you seen the Big Ten one she

did?

No.

I did see her clip with her and

Jamar and Joey B.

So this is her representing all of the

Big Ten schools, right?

I see that.

So just because college football starts

tomorrow,

let's enjoy some Annie Agar humor.

The Big Ten is back on top.

We have some of the best teams in

the nation and Purdue.

You know what?

We have a victory bell this year that

we're going to ring after every win.

The Liberty Bell was rang more recently.

Okay, let's get started.

We did already have week zero in honor

of the number of fans at USC's home

opener.

Okay.

This is your problem.

When could you recruit defensive players?

Look, guys, this is the year.

Lincoln Riley's defense.

Here we go again.

Okay, what?

Lincoln had better defense at the theater.

Well,

speaking of not knowing how to use

Trojans, where is Sharon Moore?

Okay, well, we hired a new head coach.

He's from Utah.

Isn't everyone in Utah Mormon?

Yes,

they are known for not having just one

wife, but neither was Sharon Moore.

Okay, look,

we have turned over a new leaf.

Bryce Underwood put a psalm on his

Instagram story.

I would make the sign of the cross,

but Michigan might steal it.

That

That's it, I've had about enough of you.

Can you two just be mature for two

seconds?

Look, we are rebuilding, okay?

The foundation is getting laid.

You should get laid.

Okay.

Okay, State, State.

Pat Fitzgerald keeps saying smart things.

State!

Yeah.

State,

what are the keys to winning this year?

I'm not allowed to have those.

Look, guys,

we have some of the brightest colleges in

the world.

UCLA, what have you done this off season?

We have hired Bob Chesney.

See, okay, great, and how will he help?

Well, we're already on the beach,

so we figured he could at least sing

to us after every loss.

Kenny Chesney.

Guys, you don't have to worry about us,

okay?

Luke Fickle is not on the hot seat.

His seat is so hot,

the Forty-Niners owner just DM'd it.

All right, that's it.

One more thing.

Penn State did get busted for a Coke

ring.

Matt Campbell is not the first Penn State

coach to deal with blow on campus.

The last one usually just did it with

a lead.

She's good.

She's good.

She is good.

She is really good.

That's outstanding.

Oh, what all the references man.

She's out there.

She nailed it.

I love to know how long it took

to like put together because

She nailed it.

She did good.

That's fantastic.

I followed college football,

so I got like ninety percent of those.

It was that Lincoln defense reference.

I had a hard time.

Oh, yeah.

The history thing.

Yeah.

Yeah.

Yeah.

Abraham Lincoln.

He had better defense at the Ford Theater.

Holy smokes.

That is wild.

Spoiler alert.

Somebody shot Lincoln in the Ford Theater

back in the eighteen fifty whatever sixty.

And Lincoln died, I think.

And he died.

Spoiler alert.

Maybe.

Sorry if y'all hadn't been up on that.

yeah jeremy she's a packers fan but what

i delighted in watching her uh instagram

last year when the bears beat the packers

twice including the playoff game and she

filmed herself and the angst she went

through during that game it was brilliant

that's amazing brilliant and josh jacobs

is still on the commissioner's exempt list

just leaving that out there jeremy lincoln

is dead

Not just that he was dead,

he was assassinated.

It was wild times,

I'm telling you right now.

Yeah, something, something, something.

Civil War, I'm not real sure.

And they shot him.

It's fantastic.

I think that John Wilkes Booth is still

on trial and it's hung.

It's a hung jury.

Hung jury because he's saying he's insane.

He did it, but he's insane.

But he's insane.

I don't know.

It's weird.

I'm going to tell you,

I know we talked a little bit yesterday

about, or the day before,

whenever that was,

about the game coming up this weekend,

LSU and Clemson, blah, blah, blah,

whatnot.

I said that Lane Kiffin,

if he doesn't win this weekend,

that people are going to be calling for

his head.

I'm going to go ahead and revise that

a tiny bit, only to say...

Only to say that they're going to let

the band play neck because Lane himself

has said if they get fined,

he's just going to pay the fine himself.

So if you do not know about LSU

and its song neck,

it's got to roll up.

You can get it there and tailgate and

whatnot and just walk on through and yell

out the, ah, ah.

And then the entire crowd is going to

yell back at you.

And I'm not going to say it right

now because I don't think we're far enough

in to get demonetized.

But the initials are STTDB.

So, okay.

You can go ahead and throw that out

there.

If nothing else,

it's going to be hyped Saturday night.

If they actually let them play it because

they haven't been able to,

because like the fine is some ridiculous

amount of money in lanes.

Just like, yeah, I got that.

Uh, okay.

Big question.

Who has the best game entrance?

That's easy.

And Corey's going to hate me for saying

this, but it's Clemson.

It's not.

It's so stupid.

They touch a rock, Scott.

Come on.

They run down that hill, dude.

That is awesome.

It is an epic viewing experience.

Uh-huh.

You've clearly never been to Tiger Stadium

on a Saturday night.

It's fine.

Well,

I could say the Penn State whiteout is

the most epic game performance,

but it's not an entrance.

No.

Ours is an entrance.

Let me revise that.

Ours is an entire experience because they

come down Victory Hill.

There's a parade every home game.

That's how it starts off.

They do that at Ohio State too.

Everybody comes down.

You see all the players, the dance team,

the band, like all of the people, coaches,

all of that good shit.

They walk into the stadium.

And then the setup and everything they

come down into before they actually start

the game, everybody comes out,

hits the wind bar.

Much as I hate to say it,

but like when Les Miles was coaching,

he'd get out there and he would act

like he was holding them back.

And just everybody getting hype,

fireworks, pyrotechnics all going off,

what,

a hundred and nine thousand screaming

drunk coon asses.

Yeah, man, it's a thing.

Way better than let's touch a rock and

run down a hill.

Yeah.

The only reason that Hill's there is

because they don't have a fucking fully

complete stadium.

Don't give me that.

So you gave up on the demonetization?

You just went all in there?

I know, I just did that.

I caught myself right after I said it.

I can't help it, dude.

Excuse me.

And they ride the bus around the stadium.

Ooh, exciting.

Whatever.

Miami's Miami's was great,

but then everybody in the world copied

them,

which sucks because Miami was the first to

do like the rolling smoke and the right.

Everybody's saying Virginia tech.

I don't know.

Virginia tech has not been relevant in

college football for so long.

I don't think I've seen a game in

ten years.

Mm hmm.

And so like what Terry's saying, damn,

I love college football.

And that's the thing about it, right?

I love college football because we can,

like,

everybody's got their own opinion about

stuff, right?

And I am one hundred percent a homer.

I'm going to tell you that right now.

Oh, I can tell.

I am absolutely a homer.

I am biased to the nth degree.

It is what it is.

I ain't mad at it.

Enter Sandman gets you hype.

is that what virginia tech does i'm pretty

sure yeah they they play uh they play

inner sandman kind of like uh yes i

said homo almost sorry make an

announcement right here on the show

Mark Phillips, one of my best friends,

where's that?

Sorry.

The Auburn Eagle stuff.

Kind of like the Auburn Eagle,

even if Auburn sucks.

One of my best friends went to Auburn.

And so like every year,

right about this time, we always ask him,

Gabe, what is it Auburn?

Like,

I need you to tell me what an

Auburn is.

Actually,

what I need you to do is decide

what y'all mascot actually is.

Cause y'all the Auburn Tigers and what we

scream war Eagle and they fly an Eagle

around the thing.

LSU has a tiger that lives on campus.

You know, five million dollar enclosure.

You can go see him right now if

you want to.

I got to say,

I lived in Tallahassee for a while.

The Florida State Seminole riding out on

the horse with the flaming spear and

chucking it into the fifty yard line is

pretty freaking cool.

that's pretty cool.

A hundred percent.

Um, didn't Oklahoma used to have like,

like they came out in a wagon.

They still do.

I don't know if they do or not.

Yeah.

I think it wiped out one time.

They turned too fast.

Those things,

I don't know if you know this,

but the old schooners,

they don't corner like a Lamborghini.

It wasn't handling by Lotus at that point.

Oh, wow.

I'm going to an FSU game in a

couple weeks.

Can't wait.

One,

bring some ice packs because it's going to

be hot.

Two, it is a really freaking cool opening.

And there's no shade at Dope Campbell at

all.

We go to,

we try to go to at least one

LSU game a year that we can bring

Jameson to.

She loves it.

Like eight years old.

We did the Tiger five K and we

actually did, well,

I did the mile run with her late

last year or early last year,

I guess she was saying.

And you finish on a fifty yard line

in the middle of the stadium, right?

So you actually get to be on the

field.

And I was like,

look at where you are.

And she was like, daddy,

We in the middle of the field.

Yeah, baby.

She loved it.

It was so cool.

But, yeah,

I would like to see an SEC game.

Don't know if we're going to be able

to get SEC tickets this year just because

it would be Lane's first year and whatnot.

It's going to be kind of difficult.

Nothing can top Penn State's whiteout

game.

I agree, Joseph.

A hundred and eleven thousand people.

I will say this.

It's fun.

It's fun to look at.

It's cool to look at because of the

participation level alone.

It's wild.

People now have copied it, right?

Other schools do the one color thing and

Tennessee does the orange out and Ohio

State tried to do a blackout night.

I don't know if you know this,

but when you all wear black,

it doesn't have much effect on the aerial

shots.

It just is kind of

it almost looks like nobody's there but

those people to ohio state aren't smart

like they they just have to pay players

and stuff dude i'm telling you i wish

i still had the meme of the guys

holding up the old like the letters of

ohio but they had it misspelled in this

like in the stadium uh ron says tony

the tiger is greater than mike the tiger

Tony,

the tiger is what fricking Clemson's tiger

looks like.

It's like, actually, if Tony,

the tiger was,

had been like followed on hard times,

I was living on in a box under,

uh, onto the bridge down by the river.

It's not, it must be an Ohio thing.

Cause Sten says Cincinnati does a blackout

and it looks awesome.

Yeah.

Beauty's in the eye of the beholder.

The bear, the bear, the bear cats.

Um,

Trayton has seen the LSU Tiger.

It's legit.

It really is, dude.

So he's in there and in there's like

statues around Tiger Stadium of previous

Tigers.

like memorial memorial statues there's

also a statue of shaquille o'neal that

over there that's slightly bigger than

life-size and it's terrifying if you've

never seen it before uh wayne's a longhorn

fan and bevo running out is awesome

however most stadiums have banned him from

doing it yeah because it's fun out of

it yeah dude but as much as they

they spend on keeping those grass fields

like in pristine condition i imagine they

don't want a longhorn you know

Freaking eighteen hundred pounds of beef

running out onto the field and tearing it

up right before the game starts.

And let's not forget West Virginia

University with Davy Crockett running out

onto the field and shooting a musket into

the air.

As one does.

Because in West Virginia...

Yeah, makes sense.

That's probably here while I shoot this

gun.

That's probably just some dude.

That's probably just some dude like just

got off work and got out there and

just runs out onto the field randomly.

Oh, that's outstanding.

Yes.

I took out George's bulldog one time.

I remember that and almost stomped on him.

That's a thing that happened.

Appalachian State.

Has Daniel Boone as a mascot?

I don't think that West Virginia's mascot

is actually Davy Crockett or Daniel Boone.

It's just a guy that came back from

his hunting trip.

Yeah, that's an actual dude.

Who stumbled out onto the field after

tailgating.

It's muzzleloader season.

Stand by.

I don't think it's Davy Crockett or Daniel

Boone either because I'm pretty sure both

of those guys are dead.

dude you didn't say spoiler alert oh sorry

sorry in case y'all didn't know these guys

are both really really old uh let me

grab i would say birch at this point

is how many uh that's what he looks

like yeah because that that horse looks

drunk hundred percent hundred percent i

just got back from the hunting camp

Yeah, it's weird how that works, Ramirez.

Every time I just go to blast in

downtown and the police show up and you

got to come with us and all of

that fun shit.

Yeah, but when it's a musket,

you've got to drop the ball.

You got to put the gunpowder in.

You got to pack it.

By the time you get a second shot,

you better hit it with the first one

because by the time you get the second

one ready.

Aim small, miss small.

Aim small, miss small.

Army blasts off cannons when they score

and the Golden Knights jump into the

stadium with the ball and flag.

Hey,

I don't know what the ball and flag

stuff is, but...

That sounds more like a Navy thing,

but yeah, I get you.

So that actually reminds me.

So last night,

I've said I'm home alone all week.

And before the football game started,

I was like, hey,

I'll just throw a movie on.

And so there's this new Olivia Wilde movie

called I Want Your Sex.

And I like Olivia Wilde.

I'm sorry?

Exactly.

From like her days on house and all

of that stuff.

And so I turned it on.

And my question to you is,

How far into a movie is it appropriate

to bail?

And at what point have you crossed the

line where you just have to see it

to the end?

Oh, man.

So this is going to make me sound

like a giant pansy.

And yes,

a ball and flag remind me of last

night, Ortega,

because I was watching this movie and it

was essentially softcore porn.

Featuring Olivia Wilde?

Yes.

What was the name of it again?

I Want Your Sex.

For research purposes.

Anyway, getting back to the, you know,

how long is it appropriate?

So the first time I ever watched the

haunted videotape,

The Ring.

No, The Ring.

The Ring.

It was just me and my ex-wife.

It was asleep,

turned off all the lights in the house,

just sitting in the living room watching

it.

And it's the most ridiculous premise for a

movie, for a horror movie.

Not that horror movies have these really

solid premises, but to me, I'm like,

oh yeah, she haunted a VHS tape?

Oh no,

let me just erase it and call it

good and we just go on about your

business, right?

We called that Poltergeist back in

Exactly.

And at some point, like it bothered me.

It really did.

And when the girl,

I think maybe at one point they climb

up,

she climbs out the TV and I looked

at Michelle and I said,

we turn this off whenever you're ready.

Like I have no problem doing that

whatsoever.

I am not invested enough that I need

to see what goes on at the end.

I'm done.

So,

and I want to say that was pretty

far into it because I was laughing at

it at first.

I was like, really?

Is this really what happened?

Like blockbusters haunted now, I guess.

What's happening?

And I was one hundred percent ready to

turn it off.

There's some of the like so bad it's

good stuff that I will watch all the

way through.

Like Sharknado.

I've seen all of them.

i have not been one bro all of

them and i will watch all of them

the entire way through but it's one of

those things that it's supposed to be like

that right it's so terrible but like i'm

i'm hell yeah let's go let's see let's

see how bad this is going to happen

and like how bad is this going to

there's sharks flying through the sky

because they're caught up in the tornado

and they just so happen to be hitting

these like it's fantastic but there's also

something that's bad and it's just hard to

watch

so so in this movie it starts with

a dead body in a pool as okay

right and so like they're leading you on

that there's going there's a murder

mystery and one of the main characters is

now being questioned by the police and

it's basically all looking back at how

they got to this day where you find

the body in the pool oh yeah so

you don't know like what happened series

of flashbacks

As he's telling the police how they got

to this day.

And so that was intriguing.

Like, that was a storyline that I was,

okay,

how'd the dead body end up in the

pool?

I want to know.

Right.

But there gets to be a point where

that's a thin thread that I turned it

off at thirty minutes.

I just couldn't.

I just couldn't.

But there still is this little part of

my brain going,

I still don't know what happened.

How did that happen?

Right.

And you can't,

because you've never seen it before,

you can't just fast forward through parts

and be like, okay, this is stupid.

I don't actually need to see this.

I don't actually need to see this.

You'd have to watch the whole damn thing.

that's terrible yeah look mark's mark got

a point just google the ending and call

it a day scott that's what i should

do uh it's it's actually not on a

platform train it's still in theaters i

think it just came uh to where you

could like rent it on demand

I did not rent it.

I have a way of seeing it.

And I'll leave it at that.

No, no, no, no, no.

I did not rent the Olivia Wilde.

I did not.

I did not pay for it, thank God.

If I paid for it, damn it,

I'm watching it till the end.

I don't care how bad it sucks.

Yeah.

I really, really don't.

I'm going to watch the entire thing.

I am getting my two dollars ninety nine

cents worth.

absolutely absolutely i did i said she's

calling police you are the police i'm

calling the cops you is the cops what

is that she has no jurisdiction in ohio

as far as you know that's true as

far as you know she probably knows some

people i feel like all the cops i

know know some people like i can get

some stuff done

so like kill bill i bailed when she

was going to kill the mother in front

of the daughter i don't even know if

she killed the mother or if the daughter

died or any of that stuff i just

i those are like deal breakers for me

and i'm out yeah like don't hurt kids

man oh i don't my wife's all into

like all the the true crime ah you

know blah blah whatever so some stuff

Yes, I'm okay with it.

Right.

But like we go to, I said,

there's one of like,

this lady was killing babies into NICU and

I'm like, Nope, not watching that.

Don't need to know anything about that.

I'm perfectly,

I'm not going to sleep tonight.

And like, and there's a bunch of them,

this lady murdered her children.

Nope.

The one about the dude who murdered his

wife and his three kids and like,

and was, oh,

I don't know what happened to him,

officer or whatnot.

I want to stab that dude pretty badly

still.

And that was eighteen years ago or

whenever it was.

I have no idea how long ago.

I just know it was a while back.

I can't do those whatsoever.

I will turn that off before it even

starts.

Don't mess with it.

Yeah, but Meredith,

that kid turned out to be okay.

I never made it to episode two.

The amount of gratuity in episode one.

Oh, well, yeah.

I've tried to watch it two times and

I never got past maybe episode one and

a half.

It's a pretty hardcore show.

And I just couldn't.

It took me three attempts to get through

Sopranos.

I still haven't watched Sopranos.

Those people eat plain Cheerios.

It's sociopath behavior.

Sociopath behavior.

What do you want?

Do you have any Civil War area bedding?

I could probably eat some of that,

maybe with some milk.

Give me a spoon and some milk.

So back on college football, just briefly.

Yes.

Kind of.

So I'm all excited because like there's

real football on last night.

One,

I'm too damn old to stay up late

for those Thursday night games.

Not doing that.

Just going to say that.

but it's Colorado Georgia tech.

And it really felt to me like a

game.

Like when Dion Sanders came to Colorado,

it was like, this is, this is innovative.

He's going to pull people in because they

go to the NFL and blah, blah, blah.

And Shader Sanders can't even start for

the Cleveland Browns.

And, um,

Travis Hunter is hurt and hasn't even

started for the Jaguars.

And so like, right.

So you get Colorado Georgia Tech and

Alberto Mendoza is starting for Georgia

Tech, the brother of Fernando Mendoza,

who was about to ask you.

Okay.

And all it reminded me of are those

eighties action movies.

Yeah.

they couldn't get the big stars so you'd

see a big font like norris stallone yeah

whatever right turns out it was frank

stallone it was frank stallone and bill

norris right

Schwarzenegger.

It's Francis Schwarzenegger.

It's Arnold's second cousin, actually.

And you'd get duped because they'd put in

huge font, Norris, Stallone, blah, blah,

blah.

And then you'd turn around and go...

who the hell are these guys?

Yeah.

All of a sudden he shows up.

He's like,

that dude looks vaguely familiar.

Like I should know who he is.

I don't understand.

Oh, that's Sylvester Stallone's brother,

Frank,

who was in a movie for some reason.

Cause he can't act.

Not that,

Stallone is this fantastic Oscar-winning

actor by any stretch of the imagination.

He won an Oscar.

I enjoy what he does.

He won an Oscar, dude.

Oh, yeah.

I'm sorry.

You're right.

Rocky for Best Director, Best Writing.

Yep.

I was movie every time.

I think, yeah, but that's not,

I don't go there with him.

Like, I don't,

I don't think about that part of it

because I was too young to, uh, well,

first of all,

to give a shit about the Oscars.

All I can think of now is like

the expendables, right?

As long as you don't,

don't dog at Tulsa King.

And, uh, Oh no, dude, I enjoyed,

I watched the first season of Tulsa King.

That was fantastic.

That was fantastic.

It's fun, dude.

And it's him doing the stuff that he

does best.

Yeah.

Like just walking around being Italian.

I think you'd enjoy season three because

it's all around the bourbon industry.

And I do like good bourbon.

I know.

I know about Oklahoma.

And you like Stallone being Stallone.

So there you go.

I do like Stallone being Stallone.

And the bad guy is the same bad

guy from Terminator two.

Oh,

he is really good in stuff patrick robert.

Patrick.

Yes Um,

he is very very good and stuff like

that.

He's been in lately.

He was in uh,

he was a bad guy in Uh one

episode of reacher maybe the whole season

I don't remember Whenever they had the

whole teams that uh season two reacher

maybe he's fat now like he doesn't look

the same

He's not that he's not,

he's not determined.

He's not a T-one thousand.

Yeah.

He's not a T-one thousand anymore.

Yeah.

You know, for the,

the scene where he's chasing, um,

chasing the kid on a motorcycle,

on a dirt bike, um,

That's really him running after the dirt

bike.

He practiced running robotic.

I read it the other day and not

breathing or not looking like he was out

of breath.

And he was fast enough where he was

actually catching a dirt bike.

It's wild.

And you look at him now, you're like,

oh, yeah, no,

you are a seventy five year old man.

Cool.

Joseph must be doing something else.

Because that's what started the whole

conversation is that Robert Patrick was

the bad guy in Tulsa King, dude.

He missed that part of it.

It's fine.

Every time I see him,

and I do this for all these other

people, right?

You see Robert Patrick in something and

you're like,

I wouldn't mess with that dude.

He can turn his hands into giant silver

knives and poke you in the eyes or

something like that.

Do you remember how cutting edge that CGI

was?

Dude, it still holds up.

Go watch Terminator two right now.

That's re-releasing it in theaters for

like an anniversary thing.

That's amazing.

I'd go watch it.

I'd go watch it again.

I watched it in a theater back in

what it was, ninety two or whatnot.

I would I would I would go check

that out again.

Oh, sorry.

He was snacking on plain Cheerios.

You are not a sociopath.

Remember, as I know better,

anybody who's got pocket tacos is

definitely not a sociopath.

They're re-releasing Endgame before...

And adding ten minutes to a three-hour

movie that supposedly isn't essential to

see the next one.

You're going to make me sit through three

hours of the movie that I've seen like

three times already to watch ten minutes

that I need for the next movie?

That is horseshit.

The good news is that if you wait

long enough,

somebody will put out one of these recap

videos and be like,

here's what you missed if you didn't go

see the re-release of Endgame in the

theaters.

That is the biggest money,

obvious money grab

And it's probably because Endgame wants to

get back to number one on the all-time

chart, right?

Right.

Because they re-released it with the ten

minutes and now it goes up the charts

even more and beats Brand New Day or

Tomorrow Day or whatever from Spider-Man.

it's brand new you just you just put

brand new day in tomorrow never dies like

and then which is two completely separate

movies all smash smash it together and i

love that i love the tom holland

spiderman's i just i they're they're all

about a day and i can't remember which

one

Right.

No, you're not wrong.

The first one's on Tuesday and the third

one's on a Friday.

I don't know.

I think the first one was on a

Tuesday because it was homecoming.

And generally speaking,

homecoming is not on a Tuesday.

But, I mean,

maybe it is where you are,

where you grew up.

Oh, no, homecoming, no way home.

No,

no way home was right before Brand New

Day.

Jesus Christ.

Was that the one with Macaulay Culkin?

And, uh, yes, yes.

Well,

Cody Coggins could have been an Avenger.

I mean,

if they got a guy that shoots bull

and arrows, like that's his,

that's his entire thing.

Hey, I would argue that, uh,

Kevin from home alone has more skills than

Hawkeye.

He's right up there for sure.

Right.

The paint cans,

the hot iron on the knob, the,

the micro machines that whatever, uh,

He was like Batman for the Marvel

Universe.

Lying to adults?

You come to the store by yourself?

Ma'am, I'm ten years old.

None of this is negativity, Ortega.

I love Spider-Man.

I love all the Spider-Mans.

I love them.

i just the titles confuse me that's all

well i mean to be fair look daniel

just homecoming far from home no way home

so they're all home yeah that's why the

kevin from home alone is in the new

one he's in the new one yeah no

way home alone and in brand new day

have you seen brand new day yet i

have not it's really good i've been a

little busy like on the road and then

like

Yeah,

and you've been at home all week by

yourself.

You don't even have a dog to worry

about right now.

Dude, I've been building a drum set.

I saw that.

I saw that.

I even quoted you in the caption.

Did you touch my... I mean, it is.

Look,

it's cheaper than a convertible by far.

A lot easier to take care of.

right we don't have to worry about getting

the oil change putting tires on or any

other good so yeah look mark phillips got

you coming this future special way to

watch to see brand new day uh i

that special way doesn't work for brand

new day yet not yet it's only for

olivia wild soft core movies fine it's

fine holy smokes

Anyway.

Hey, did you see this?

I'm going to pull this up because just

because we're a CrossFit show,

I'm going to just say one thing.

It's one thing.

Then we'll go back to like Cheerios and

Mr. T cereal.

Love it.

Do you see the WFP announced that they

are doing the crown,

which I'm told by Lex has been around

for a while,

but now they're kind of in conjunction

with WFP.

Okay.

But it is a, an event for,

I'll hit the slide here for, um, ages,

athletes, age,

and it's now going to be held at

the finals of WFP.

And it's by invite only.

You just have to send in your application

to WFP to be considered.

What's the criteria to be?

They don't give that.

And there are divisions of kings and

queens.

And the winner gets the crown, apparently.

I don't know if y'all noticed or not,

but sixteen-year-old kings never works out

well.

Never works out well.

That doesn't usually end well at all.

um it's thirty kings thirty queens will

compete and uh here's where it says that

it's invite only apply by filling out the

form in our bio blah blah blah yeah

i'm with the old fake savant here who's

paying for these kids flights at christmas

time listen dude so the pit the pit

the pit prodigies would i don't they do

that here in the states yeah

This is happening in Europe,

and if you look at the trend of

where our teen athletes are coming from at

the games, the majority is now overseas.

Yeah.

So this gives a competition for those kids

in Europe to be able to go to

that's not here in the States.

I think it's a cool thing.

And I think that the more that WFP

teams up with like heart of America or

world or the crown, holy shit.

Uh,

lightning just hit right outside my

window.

Oh, um,

it sounded like someone was driving their

car through my house.

I hope not.

That's usually a descriptor I give when

I'm discussing homeowners insurance with

somebody.

It's like,

if somebody drives an AT wheeler through

your living room,

let's pray that nobody drove an AT

wheeler.

Anyway,

it gives the opportunity for the kids

overseas to have a big-time competition to

go to other than the games.

And I think that partnering with these

competitions is helping WFP build a

community

in a way that's different from like the

organic way of CrossFit.

Well, good for them.

it's got Ainsley's fingerprints all over

it oh yeah absolutely doing this thing and

partnering with them it's very much like

Ainsley has taken the reins and has a

strategic plan which we did not have in

season one no their plan within season one

was like I got this spaghetti I'm going

to throw it against the wall and see

what sticks essentially yeah

I just want to leave you with this

one thing and it's not CrossFit,

but it is.

Rebecca Fuseli is one of my favorite

people in the world.

And she did a video about a passenger

in your car with a protein shake and

their shake a bottle.

And it just reminded me of a story

that I wanted to tell.

So I'm going to show this for a

second.

Sure.

Hey, Hey, thanks for picking me up.

Yeah, no problem.

How was your workout?

Oh, it was good.

It was good.

I did some squats.

Yep.

Did some bike intervals, but you know,

those, those always suck.

So you get the point, right?

Why is it that we always have to

reshake our protein shake every time

before we take a drink?

literally got mine from this morning still

early on in my crossfit career i had

a protein shake chocolate after a workout

uh the owner of my gym is my

neck was my next door neighbor at the

time he goes hey just hop in the

cargo and so he had a leased white

nissan murano i get in the car and

i do the shake

And I did not have the cap on.

Next thing you know, Jed's a millionaire.

And there was chocolate shake all over the

front of his leased Nissan Murano.

I cannot tell you how many times I

have done that because like,

especially if you don't make sure that

that lid is tight on there,

you're going to have shit scattered from

hell to breakfast and back.

It drives my wife bananas because it

doesn't matter what's in it.

Like protein, electrolytes, whatever.

Like I'm every single time.

It doesn't matter if I just finished

shaking it before I take a sip.

I'm over it.

Let me ask you this.

You do this too.

Cause you gotta get that, that,

that residue.

Because that one microgram of protein that

got on the cap lid is going to

make all the difference.

Waste not, want not.

I'm just saying.

I will say that nowadays I do that

like every other scoop or every other sip

instead of every sip.

I like the cap.

Put a scoop of grape nuts in there.

It mixes it well.

Instead of a blender ball,

put in some grape nuts.

If you don't have a blender ball,

get you some.

Get you some.

Get you some grape nuts because it won't

dissolve.

I can promise you that much.

The problem is that if you get a

sip and now all of a sudden you're

choking on rocks, nobody wants that.

Did you get the grape nuts?

The grape nuts, by the time they resolve,

the protein shake will be so stinky that

you'll have to throw it away anyway.

Absolutely.

Absolutely.

I mean, it's a partial use thing.

It's like you can buy...

These stones that are like cubes,

you put them in a freezer basically.

Instead of ice.

Instead of ice for your whiskey or

whatnot.

Same thing for grape nuts.

You just buy a box of them,

use it, shake it up.

You're probably going to want to strain it

so that you don't swallow rocks.

Or live on the edge, man.

And I'm not doing that.

I'm too old to live on edge.

Not doing that.

So nice.

Plain Cheerios will mix it up.

So nice.

So nice.

Oh, very nice.

Very nice.

Last time I washed that shake about the

beginning of the week.

My wife hates that.

Because like, you know,

you have shaker bars for different things.

You have like your pre-workout,

you have your protein, you have, right?

Pre-workout, like, I just keep adding two.

By the end of the week,

we have four different flavors going on in

there.

And then it's time to throw it in

the dishwasher, right?

For the weekend.

Right.

But like during the week,

I don't need to wash it for every

use.

No.

Dude, this thing,

it's got water in it at twenty four

hours a day, seven days a week.

And I'm constantly doing this with it.

So like there's no residue left in there

because it can't get in there.

I will wash it.

I do wash it.

Meg, you need to toughen up.

Now, protein,

I will not do more than one use.

That stuff gets gross real fast.

If it gets into places, it does.

Especially if you don't close the lid all

the way and you accidentally get it all

over the cup.

Yeah, it's coming out.

I'm washing it.

We're going to make a whole new one.

Dude,

that shit stinks by day two every time.

Come on.

I'm telling you, don't.

Yeah,

I got an iron stomach and I can't

smell anything.

I don't have COVID.

I can smell just fine.

Just throwing that out there.

Speaking of gross,

something that isn't gross is Thirdsy.

And you can get yours at fifteen percent

off by using promo code Jazzy at checkout.

That is Thirdsy.com backslash Jazzy.

You know why it's not gross?

Because it doesn't have that melatonin in

it that makes you all groggy the next

day.

And dude,

I got another eight hours of sleep last

night.

I'm going into a weekend,

bacheloring it up,

and I've got two nights of great sleep,

and I'll still probably be asleep at nine

tonight watching the Olivia Wilde movie.

My wife texted me this morning.

So I got up early.

I was supposed to,

like my other arm was still set for

me to be able to coach this morning,

but I wasn't actually coaching this

morning.

But she got it before I did,

which is like three forty five,

some crazy shit like that.

Right.

i didn't think no no but just sometimes

she does that like she can't sleep

whatever she go get on the couch turn

on tv and fall asleep in front of

tv is what she ended up doing but

she texted me while i was at the

gym and she said i had a wild

ass dream i was like oh please do

tell she said now we live in south

louisiana i'm going to say that one more

time we live in south louisiana and she

dreamed that there was a volcano

a volcano that was apparently erupting.

And she was trying to, I said,

I did hear you talking in your sleep.

She said, yeah,

I was trying to get in touch with

you and you were at the gym and

you wouldn't answer the phone.

But now all of a sudden you came

home and you just got right to work.

And I was like, okay.

I said,

I'm pretty sure if there was volcanic

activity in the general vicinity of where

we live, I'd be home.

Just throwing that out there.

I don't know how much we could actually

do about it,

but we would take care of it.

I think the writers of nine one to

one just have a new,

just came up with a new idea.

She sent me a video cause there's a,

they were re-airing an old episode or

something like that.

sent me a video on instagram i think

yesterday from nine one one nashville and

it was they were at a water park

okay and they're showing the kids at the

top of a water slide and like you

know as a kid that's the lifeguard or

whatnot and she puts this little girl on

it and little girl takes off and all

of a sudden these freaking teenagers come

out of nowhere and like basically throw

her out the way like we're gonna

and start flinging themselves down this

water slide and then one of them stops

himself and then the other ones just keep

piling up until they get like twenty

people in the water slide and like the

little girl that they showed the beginning

comes out lands in the water and she's

like you turn around all of a sudden

it's collapsing and his children I'm

laughing because I'm like there's no way

on God's green earth

Like it's just going to break perfectly.

And all of a sudden it's just spilling.

Look, of course you do.

Of course you do.

Of course you do.

uh they've had everything on nine one

volcano tidal wave they went to space too

yeah we know we know we know the

first season of nine one one was so

good and then it complete like i think

they they they sucked on a bowl and

they said hey what can we do and

the audience still tune in because they

believe it the fact that there's so many

spin-offs

Right.

Like when there's, like you said,

there's low star Nashville.

Yeah, dude.

No, no.

And like, they're out of ideas.

Clearly they out of ideas.

The one in Nashville where all of a

sudden there was somebody was touring a

bourbon facility and it caught on fire for

some reason.

Some dude, I wish I could find it,

made a reel about he's a fireman.

He's like, hey,

this is why this would never happen.

He just went through all the various

things.

I'm waiting for DC.

Yeah, of course you are.

Maybe you could be an extra.

Maybe you could be an extra, Meg.

You could just be an episode of nine

one one DC.

Meg,

what you should do is get a hold

of Corey's wife,

have her dream up these things,

and then you just write them down.

Cast it and you've got nine one one

DC.

She's like, she said, I'm like, why, why,

why are you watching this?

This is so unbelievably ridiculous.

And her, uh,

her invariable response is I don't have to

think about it.

I could just like, she knows it's stupid.

Reno nine one one is the same show

way at this point.

It's basically the same show.

One is just as ridiculous.

Yeah.

More laughs.

The difference is that Reno nine one one

is trying to be funny.

And this one is funny without trying to

be.

period that's that's the two differences

all right man don't forget to like and

subscribe to the channel i always forget

to say that always said it in two

months uh with that we are going to

take off have a great labor day weekend

there's not going to be a sunday night

show this week it'll be tuesday again

because of the holiday um

And I'll probably do one Monday just

because I'll be here by myself.

Not if I'm home, but I mean,

I'll jump on, I'm sure.

All right.

Take us out, Vicky.

You wouldn't wait to get to the editing

room to jazz me up.

I'm already jazzy.

Lunch with the Clydesdale Cowboy in the

saddle.

Lunch with the Clydesdale Cowboy in the

saddle.

Talking reps,

real life strength in the battle.

From the gym to the screen, yeah,

we cover it all.

Midday motivation every time we press

call.

Lunch with the Clydesdale Cowboy,

bring the heat.

CrossFit, movies, music, home repeat.
