Meraj Digital presents
Zaki:The Amazing Stories with Zaki the Hoopoe.
Zaki:Episode 5, Prophet Musa and the Red Sea
Zaki:My incredible friends. It's me, Zucky, your trusty Hoopoe bird back again. I hope you're ready for another amazing adventure.
Zaki:Today, we're flying all the way to Egypt where we'll meet a very special prophet named Musa. Now if you thought parting the sea sounded impossible, oh, you're in for a big surprise. But before we dive in, let me ask you. Have you ever had to trust someone to help you even when things seemed really really hard? Well, that's exactly what Musa and his people had to do. So sit tight, and let's soar right into the story.
Zaki:Thousands of years ago, in the land of Egypt, there lived a kind and brave man named Musa, peace be upon him. Musa was chosen by Allah to help his people, the Israelites, who were treated very badly by the king of Egypt called pharaoh. Pharaoh made the Israelites work very hard and didn't let them live freely. Musa wanted to help his people be free so they could live happily and worship Allah.
Zaki:But Pharaoh was very mean and didn't want to let the Israelites go. He thought he was the most powerful and didn't believe in Allah. He refused to let Musa and his people leave Egypt. Uh-oh. Pharaoh sure sounds like trouble. Can you imagine someone thinking they're more powerful than Allah? Oh, pharaoh. You're about to learn a big lesson, but don't worry because Musa's got a plan.
Zaki:One night after a long time of waiting, Allah told Musa that it was time to leave. Musa gathered the Israelites, and they quietly left Egypt under the cover of darkness. They walked through the desert hoping to reach a safe place where they could live in peace. As they walked, the Israelites were a little scared but hopeful. They knew that Musa was a good leader and that Allah was with them.
Zaki:But when pharaoh found out that the Israelites were leaving, he became very angry. He gathered his army with chariots and horses and chased after Musa and the Israelites. Uh-oh. Pharoah's on the move with his army. Can you imagine hearing the sound of chariots and horses thundering behind you? Thump thump thump. But don't worry friends, Musa's not scared and neither should we be.
Zaki:The Israelites walked all night and finally reached the Red Sea. It was a big wide sea with no way to cross. When they looked back, they saw pharaoh's army getting closer and closer. The people began to worry and were very scared.
Zaki:Ah, yes. Nothing like the sight of an entire sea blocking your path and a furious army hot on your heels. I can imagine some of the Israelites turning to Musa and saying, so this was the plan. Not exactly the scenic route we were hoping for, but okay. It's the kind of moment where you start rethinking all your life choices, but that's when faith has to kick in. Right?
Zaki:What will we do now Musa? They cried. We are trapped between the sea and pharaoh's army. How will we escape?
Zaki:And of course, this is when everyone starts panicking. You know how it goes. Musa, do something. It's like that moment on a camping trip when someone realizes there's no firewood and suddenly it's your problem. But Musa, cool as ever. He doesn't need a last minute plan. He knows exactly who's in charge here.
Zaki:Musa stayed calm and told the people, don't be afraid. Allah is with us. He will help us find a way. Phew.
Zaki:Musa is so brave. Right? Even when everyone was scared, he knew Allah would help. What do you do when you feel scared? Do you ask for help too? Musa sure knows how to trust Allah even when things look really really tough.
Zaki:Musa raised his staff high above his head and prayed to Allah asking for his help. The people watched quietly hoping for a miracle, and then something amazing happened.
Zaki:The waters of the Red Sea began to move. The waves grew taller and taller, and suddenly the sea parted. A dry path appeared right in the middle with high walls of water on each side. Allah had made a way for them to cross the sea safely. Picture this, the sea parts. Like someone opened a giant zipper. I mean, you've heard of roads opening up, but when's the last time a sea decided to split down the middle for you?
Zaki:Imagine the Israelites jaws on the floor. Is this for real? Are we actually going to walk through the ocean? It's not your everyday commute, that's for sure. Can you believe it? The sea just moved out of the way. It's like the sea opened up its arms and said come on through. I bet the Israelites were amazed like, woah. Is this really happening?
Zaki:What would you do if you saw a path right in the middle of the sea? Would you run, hop, skip, or dance your way across? I think I'd fly right over it, of course.
Zaki:Musa led the people onto the dry path, and they hurried across the sea. The Israelites were so happy and thankful as they walked between the walls of water. They knew that Allah was protecting them, but pharaoh and his army were still chasing them.
Zaki:When pharaoh saw the dry path, he ordered his army to follow the Israelites. They drove their chariots and horses onto the path thinking they could catch them. Oh no. Here comes pharaoh and he's not giving up. But we all know who's really in charge here. Right? Let's see what happens next. It's going to be big.
Zaki:But as soon as the Israelites reached the other side of the sea, something incredible happened again. Allah commanded the sea to return to its natural state. The walls of water came crashing down, covering the path and sweeping away pharaoh's army. The chariots, horses, and soldiers were all caught in the sea and the Israelites were safe.
Zaki:The Israelites stood on the shore looking back at the sea. They couldn't believe what had just happened. Allah had saved them from pharaoh's army in the most miraculous way. They were finally free. That was close, wasn't it? Just when pharaoh thought he could catch them, Allah showed him who's really in charge. The Israelites were safe, and pharaoh learned a very important lesson.
Zaki:What do you think? I'd say that's a big miracle. Musa and the Israelites thanked Allah with all their hearts. They knew that without Allah's help, they would never have escaped. They sang songs of joy and praise feeling so grateful and happy. The story of prophet Musa and the parting of the Red Sea teaches us that we should always trust in Allah even when things seem impossible.
Zaki:Allah is always with us, ready to help us in ways we might not expect. Isn't that a beautiful lesson? No matter how hard things get, if we trust in Allah, he will always make a way for us. Even if it means parting a whole sea, next time you're facing something tough, remember, you can always ask Allah for help. And that, my friends, is the amazing story of prophet Musa and the parting of the sea. Wasn't that incredible?
Zaki:But guess what? There are more adventures waiting for you. In our next story, we'll meet another great prophet, prophet Nuh. He's going to build something huge that will save him and his family from a great flood, but, shh, I won't spoil it all. So get ready to join me in our next adventure across the high seas.
Zaki:Until then, keep being curious and kind, and I'll see you soon.
