Genecia Alluora: Hey gorgeous, welcome to today's episode. I want to talk about the things to avoid or you can avoid when picking a business coach. I'm sure you're not too new to the online business world. Like me you have probably done a million courses of marketing, sales, and also in confidence. You are probably reading business and personal development books, listening to podcasts, and dreaming about the possibilities for your own life. And I bet that you've already also done a lot of personality test too. Now, most of the creative entrepreneurs I know are hungry for insights and ideas on how to grow a business, and you are ready to develop more confidence or create new habits to grow into your full potential. Working for yourself is an incredible privilege, one that gives you freedom and kept earning potential and the chance to make a significant impact. I know this is happening globally, but we still live in an incredible time. People like yourself have a dream to have tools and technology to make it happen.

Genecia Alluora: Without the significant investment or financial backing from investors, imagine what our grandmothers could have created with all the tools that we have available to us. Freedom, choice and the privilege of experimenting with creative dreams, having fabulous freedom, financial independence and happy family. But here's the big problem. How do you know what works? And how do you know whose advice to follow? How do you know what to do when you face with hiccups? Screw ups? Fears. Self-doubt. Resistance. Procrastination? Personally, I've wasted thousands of dollars following business advice that just didn't feel authentic to me. I've signed up for so many courses from all around the world. But you know what? Most business gurus do teach what they know. However, what works for them doesn't automatically work for you. Your working pace, creative process, or motivation might be completely different from other people, and it can be really difficult to find a mentor who looks like you or understands the stage of business and life you're at.

Genecia Alluora: So if you're following cookie cutter advice, it can lead to frustration or burnout. Generic advice that feels out of alignment with your personality will make you question yourself and your business advice. I discovered the best way to create a thriving business is unique to your money story, your money personality. And now I want to share it with you. You can build your business on intuition or through painful trial and error. You can try to change who you are or copy the gurus. Or you can take the shortcut journey with a more personalized path for you. Knowing who you are as a person is important. What you value, your strength, your needs, and your challenges must be placed into consideration. You still have to take responsibility for your your results, but you don't have to start from scratch. So I encourage you to search for a mentor whom you believe in, with the type of results you're seeking and the framework that give you personalized, practical advice. Someone who has been there, done that would be number one. Number two, someone who has got the experience that you are looking for.

Genecia Alluora: Number three, look at the testimonials that you have seen and assess accordingly. Number four, look at the mentor. Have a one on one session with the mentor that you want to invest in, like a clarity call. Number five always check in with yourself. Are you willing or able to be open up fully to communicate with your mentor? Or are you just hiring someone and then you are just not able to listen for the advice or listen to him or her working with you, and you're always fighting back with the person. If that is so, then that is not the person that you want to work with. So always go in with an open heart and open mind to truly help you to understand this and fast track your success. Always examine your heart. What do you stand for? Who do you want to go? Who? Who you are and where you are now? To where you want to be. Can this mentor take you on this journey much, much faster and give you a tailored coaching on leveraging your strengths and making more money? Okay, so the difference between those who continue to struggle and those who interrupt the pattern and turn things around is this people who become incredibly successful with their money, honor their true selves.

Genecia Alluora: They know what they want, and even if they don't, they want to work with the best and are people who are willing to invest in in themselves. So are you willing to invest in yourself? That's what I want to say, because this is important. If you feel that even paying for an advice or picking your mentor's brain needs to be cheap and free, then you are not investing in yourself and you are not valuing your mentor's time. Although we know that everybody has their own budget, but remember paying and investing in yourself. In a mentor who can take you to point A to point B much faster, you are leveraging on the mentor's experience and his or her journey as well. Tap into their framework. Invest in yourself. Think about how you can make back the money later. Not so much in as to oh, if I invest in this, then I cannot make back the money and that will be a money block, isn't it? So it's like a chicken and egg story. If you don't do this, you don't get that. You don't do this. You don't get that, you don't do this. You can't get that. So it's either or. So remember, invest in yourself. It is time to discover your path of least resistance and your unique path to becoming a soul rich woman. Now, sending you my love and I'll speak to you soon.
