Good morning, Daily Peppers, and a very happy Thursday to you. You're listening to the Daily Pep, which is the only daily podcast for creative, multi, passionate and rebellious women who want to make shit happen and get out of their own way. So I just want to kick off this Thursday with a reminder that I think we all need, and it's this. You do not have to have all the answers right now. I think it's fair to say that so many of us struggle with making decisions. There are things that we feel like we need to know by now, things that we desperately want answers to that maybe aren't that clear to us, and there always just seems to be something that we need to decide about. But today I really just want to help you take the pressure off, because the reality is you don't need to know all the answers right now. You don't need to make all the decisions by now.
And actually, it's okay to sit within decision and not force one if it's not immediately obvious. One of the most challenging things when it comes to making decisions is is this idea of permanence and is this idea of once you've made your decision, that's it. So I also want to remind you today that it is okay to change your mind. It's okay not to have all the answers, and it's okay to take longer to decide. The truth is that you have all the answers you need inside you, but sometimes they take a while to pop up, and sometimes it is a case of external things happening that seem to help point the way a bit. So if you've got any decisions you're making lately, if there's anything you feel pressured to decide upon, know that it really is okay not to have all the answers right this second. This time of the year is already full of so much pressure, and you just don't need more pressure that you pile on yourself. It's also okay to make unpopular decisions, and it's okay to make decisions for you because that's ultimately what most of them are, decisions about your life and your own direction.
Here's to daring to listen and find your own answers. And here's to knowing that it is okay to change your mind. Whatever you've got on your plate today, I hope you have a good one. I hope you get at least five minutes to yourself, and I hope you know that you matter, because you really do. I can't wait to be back with you bright and early tomorrow morning as normal. Until then, take care.
