Jungle – Good Times
Morcheeba – Cut My Heart Out (Jazzanova remix)
Bobby Oroza – My Place, My Time
Adrian Quesada feat Tita – El Muchacho De Los Ojos Tristes

Facts
Prince – Partyman
- Happy birthday to Prince! The dearly departed King Midas of Music would have been 64 today.
- Born on this date in 1958, the newborn Prince Rodgers Nelson was actually named after his father’s jazz band.
- Also interesting on this date in 1993 as Prince turned 35, the artist formerly known as became just that, changing his official name to an androgynous symbol nobody knew how to pronounce. And thus, the artist became, quite literally, an icon. May he rest in power.
Brijean – Ooo La La
- For those not familiar, this is a duo out of Oakland, CA. This is the 2nd release for a new EP called Angelo which is out August 5 via Ghostly International.
- For those unfamiliar, the group released their debut album Feelings last year just in case you dug that and wanna hear more.
Jungle – Good Times
- The first new music of the year is out from the famed London dance duo as of last week.
- This was part of a 7” single release with another tune called Problemz (note sp.) making its debut as well.
- Nothing larger announced but just like with Brijean, Jungle’s album from last year called Loving In Stereo is great if you want more and are not so initiated.
Morcheeba – Cut My Heart Out (Jazzanova remix)
- A little trip back in time to right now, as Morcheeba just keeps doing it since they were formed back in the mid-1990s. This tune is from the trio’s latest LP which debuted last year titled Blackest Blue, with another one of our favorites in Berlin-based Jazzanova doing the honors on the remix that just dropped last week.
Bobby Oroza – My Place, My Time
- Get On The Otherside, the singer-songwriter’s sophomore LP, is out this Friday via Big Crown Records.
- Oroza is out of Finland in case you were wondering, and this tune as with the entirety of the album is arranged and performed by Timmion Records studio band Cold Diamond & Mink, also of Helsinki.
Adrian Quesada feat Tita – El Muchacho De Los Ojos Tristes
- The latest album from the Black Pumas co-founder is out now via ATO Records called Boleros Psicodidelicos or Psychedelic Boleros is out now, and the title of this particular tune means The Man with the Sad Eyes. That reminds me of somebody.

Part 2
Morning Trips - Where is Your Out?
Weird Nightmare ft. Bully - Wrecked
Wy - High Score
San Fermin - Tired of Loving You
Flyying Colours - Wavygravy
Dayaway - desert island

Weird Nightmare ft. Bully - Wrecked
Today, he’s sharing another new single, the soaring “Wrecked,” which features guest vocals from Bully’s Alicia Bognanno. “‘Wrecked’ is about missing someone,” Edkins said in a statement. “For me, it’s about missing my wife and son while on tour. Being away has become harder and harder to do. I think most people can relate to it. Feeling impossibly far away from the ones you love and coming to the realization that you won’t feel whole again until you return."

Wy - High Score
Wy are a band strongest at their most vulnerable. The Malmö indie duo, have showcased their musical skills across three albums and gained recognition from KEXP, Line of Best Fit, NBHAP, Tonspion, CLASH and more as well as tours in Germany, Scandinavia and the UK. San Fermin - Tired of Loving You
If you plan on spending your Tuesday night in a pit of sad girl despair, I suggest you do so along to the sounds of San Fermin’s “Tired of Loving You”. A soft-sounding tune that ushers in melodic verses and a tortured romance-centric narrative, the band have served you with the ultimate heartbreak anthem.

Australian shoegazers Flyying Colours will see their first two EPs reissued on vinyl this summer. The self-titled compilation will be out on July 29 2022 and can be pre-ordered from the UK and Australia. The former are providing a yellow submarine offering whilst the latter are providing the album in a choice of vanilla white or mandarin orange. I love a good vinyl collection, and have on e at home!

Dayaway - desert island
Dreampop band dayaway, featuring members of CLAVVS, have unveiled their third single desert island, and have announced the release of their self-titled first EP, coming on August 3rd, 2022. Sports Boyfriend - New American Cuisine
You have people who get their satisfaction from working together and people who prefer to do everything, but really everything, alone. Eileen Peltier is a good example of this. Under the name Sports Boyfriend, the American makes all her music all by herself. She sings, writes everything on her own, plays the instruments all by herself and records everything herself in her own home. She adds a comment saying "This one's for the cow girls" online as the New American Cuisine was released.

Queen of Jeans - Hiding In Place

COW - Better Than I Am
COW came into sight towards the end of 2017 and have worked their way into our ears and our consciousness via raved about shows at a couple festivals way back when. Their music is a typhoon of good old fashioned rock and roll, like the son of Credence Clearwater, The Pixies and Neil Young. Better Than I am is the first track to their newest EP, When The Darkness Gets You Down.

TV People - You Were Loved
TV People have released their new single ‘You Were Loved’. It marks a development in the sound for the Dublin band and heralds their second EP which will be released later this year.

If you enjoy this tune then the rest of the album should interest you!

COOL HEAT - Slow Burn
Slow Burn is the new single from Chicago-based dreampop outfit COOL HEAT. It's another dreamy lo-fi track that captures nicely the project's psychedelic side. Soft vocals and lush instrumentals combine to create a piece of incredible vitality and magnetism that serves as the final single before COOL HEAT's full album release on June 10th of this year.

Ease - Forgot That We're Once
Forgot That We’re Once is the first that we have heard from Indonesian shoegazers Ease for over three and a half years. They are still indebted to the scene that celebrated itself but there are also hints of their own identity bursting through. There are plenty of echoing guitars and expansive synths that swirl around inside the listeners head, bursting in all the right places over the course of the tracks six plus minutes. Not bad!

Patrick Holland - Nice Try
Montreal-based artist, producer, engineer and remixer Patrick Holland recently announced his self-produced debut album, You're The Boss, which will be out this Summer. Following the album's earworm of a first single "Sinister Bell," "Nice Try" were just released. The song Features sunny guitars and velvety vocal harmonies, courtesy of Holland's bandmate Jane Penny of TOPS. Seems like TOPS is giving a lending hand to many as of recently.

Motorcade - Slip
Dallas-based MOTORCADE shine with post-punk passion on the urgent and undeterred “Slip,” one of the soaring standouts off their recently- released sophomore LP, ‘See You In The Nothing.’. MOTORCADE are calm, cool, and collected: Masters of balancing chaos with control. What a blessing and a curse

Jordana - Go Slow
With Face the Wall , the young singer-songwriter from New York presents a strong guitar album that deals with overwhelming feelings and fears. With Go Slow being the fifth track of their newest album, it represents a more anthemic electro-pop sound in comparison to the heavily rock inspired tunes.
