He I don't try to push this golf on him at all all weekend. He asked me can we go. The video game place and play golf. Can we go to the video game place and play golf and that's this indoor place that I go to because on the track man they have these little like it's pretty sweet. You hit balls into like this this like sea of you know, characters and snakes and fish and and he loves it.

He's working on a new putter and they just cut to him live on the practice green with like his team around him and he just immediately. I make a lot of mistakes with with ball striking and so because of the ball and the technology I get this humongous driver and a ball that goes really far I don't have to necessarily hit in the I can hit one off the toe and it has no spin and it's going to go 3 20 where somebody like Billy Horshill has talked a lot about like he want they want to place the emphasis on ball striking and. This is kind of you know whether you're using the clubs from today or old school persimmon or whatever like golf should be about hitting and but hitting the ball in the center of the face that is the like repeated activity. So there's been so many things that have contributed to the length of in golf. It's the ball It's also the the club you know the.

The club head used to be much smaller. The shafts used to be different, but there's also people are training for golf now right? There is golf specific fitness and there's track man and we you know they have optimized the shit out of what does it take and people are. You know kids are now learning at 1213 fourteen years old how to move their body in an optimal way to hit the golf ball further all this to say like the modernrate you know courses today. They they say they can't you know ah weren't weren't built for this and so they're running out of real estate or they got to make courses longer. There's a whole There's a whole side of this so they want to roll the they want to roll the they've decided that they're not going to change all the clubs. They're not going to change all the golf courses. They've decided the variable that they can control is the golf ball and so they're going to create a new golf ball that is going to spin more. And not go as far. They've tested it in all these different conditions and they're going to say hey here's a new ball and everyone's going to play this and so I think what a couple months ago. The the thinking was that there was going to be this bifurcation of the golf ball which is a ridiculous word I'm a marketing guy I'm a business but. Rule number 1 if you want people to buy into something don't give it a fucking name like bifurcation like give it a simple term I could be walking down the street and talking to my neighbors like what do you think of bifurcation I'm like what and what that meant was like basically the pros would just play with a different ball then then then us regular people.
