My friends, let me ask you this. How many times have you not done something in your business because of fear? Maybe it was making that follow-up call, increasing your prices or putting yourself out there on video. The question is, are you running your business or is fear running it for you? Welcome back to Realtor Chatter Daily. Quick wins for realtors. I'm your host, Gary McGowan. And today we're tackling the fear factor.
How to start letting fear make your decisions and start taking action that actually moves your business forward. Here's the insight. Fear is sneaky. It doesn't always show up as full blown panic. It disguises itself as procrastination, excuses, playing it safe. But here's the truth. Every top producer you admire, they feel fear too. The difference? They act anyway. I remember the first time I shot a video for my business.
It was awkward. My lighting was terrible. It sounded terrible as well. And I must have restarted it 15 times. But you know what? I posted it anyways. And guess what happened? No one laughed me out of the industry. In fact, clients started reaching out and saying, hey, I love your videos. That's when I realized fear is a terrible business partner and it never pays the rent, my friends. Today's quick win. Face.
fear head on with these three steps. Do it scared. If something makes you nervous, that's usually a sign of it's important. Two, stop aiming for perfect. Take messy action. It's better than no action at all. reframe fear. Instead of thinking, what if I fail? Ask, what if this actually works? And hey, if fear ever whispers, you're not ready.
just smile and say neither was anyone else who ever did something great. Then do it anyways. So my friends, let's make today about action. Take that one step you've been putting off. Do it scared and watch how quickly fear loses its grip. And as always, stay motivated, keep laughing and keep thriving through real connections. This is Realty Chatter Daily. Quick wins for realtors where success is built on relationships.
