the air here is becoming incredibly thin um you can see the sort of baseline of a path the snow
um having some some
some treads in it you see the the hobgoblin treads from those who are sort of like waiting on the
mountain many of them have now run uh in fact over the course of your trip you see at least
three hobgoblins um sliding down to to lower uh sections of the mountaintop in order to escape
uh having seen the demise of the the liege that their lineage has been bound to
you know something has occurred to me here what's that yeah hobgoblins tended to the dragon not lizard
folk
that's a fair point so where are the lizard folk well and what have they got to do with this
we did find some on the way there's no way that could be all of them give me a nature check

as you as you speak the words with hobgoblins and the lizards you realize the the lizards were

like the lakes and the streams that you were passing by um hobgoblins here would make sense
mostly because um lizards would probably fucking die up here oh yeah it is very cold up in the
mountains but i think you're the one who didn't make the check and like you're the one who's just
like of course that makes perfect sense that makes perfect sense
i take both of your nature rolls and i put them into my giant brain they're mine
just sitting here with his college education about anatomy and physiology of things just
waiting for the two nature boys to figure out why the cold-blooded creatures don't like gold
mountains and i also noticed there aren't any palm trees yes there are indeed there are no
palm trees up here tan house

you are all fatigued as you carry on up the mountain
the the sort of like high altitude the cold the trudging is really taking a toll on you as you're
walking up this path through snow in an altitude that you you're really like not acclimatized to
i miss the sea

help traverse up this mountain that his people probably put like checkpoints or like hey
we put some markers that can help lead you through this and maybe here's like your
pit stop of a cave if you need something real quick and like there's an
avalanche or like a snowstorm or something uh can roll a survival to see if i can potentially
identify spots where we can kind of leapfrog to cover to cover yeah absolutely give me a
survival check all righty i'm going to have a point gap so i rolled a four
come on baby oh well it's an eight no no there's it's higher uh with the plus 10 pity bonus uh it is a 39.
okay um so that's enough for you to to find some areas um or and i'll say that that that is going
to protect you um vina and who are still going to get exhausted from this this is just not built for
them but a survival check on your part is enough to kind of give you the shelter again this is made
for sort of your people and some of the guardians who would come up here uh it's not great for tree
people or um you know self so you would assume that a self would be better at this

a snaking path that seems to
go further into it.

I'm sure we can bring the airship back.
