Leann Herron grew up inside her father's alcoholism. The swaying through the house, the rehabs he went in and out of, and the brown paper bag under the seat of his truck that she knew her whole childhood. She spent years believing she could fix him, and later repeated the pattern with a diabetic first husband who ignored his insulin and a second husband who got hooked on opiates through pain management. Today Leann is a certified holistic life and health coach, founder of Finding Resilience with Leann and host of the Happiness on Tap podcast, and she and Austin recently swapped guest spots on each other's shows.
Leann tells the story of the day she snapped, chased her father into a corner with his own bottle and walked out with her daughter for good. She and Austin get into why forgiveness was for her and not for them, how generational trauma explains the people who hurt us without excusing them, and the boundary she still holds with the house she grew up in. Then she breaks down how a case at her law firm job cracked open trauma she did not know was trapped in her body, why she refused the antidepressant her doctor handed her, and the modalities that did in a year what she believes talk therapy would have taken a decade to do: meditation, Reiki, somatic work and one hypnotherapy session that erased twenty years. They close on Joe Dispenza, The Frequency screening that changed her skeptical husband, and where to find Leann's work.

Most people in recovery never tell the full story. This show does.I'm Austin Rampt the author of One Last Hit: The Remarkable True Story of an Addict's Journey to Find Himself.
I grew up in Tampa, spent a decade chasing drugs through eight different rehabs, and eventually fled the country.
I ended up in Mexico surrounded by members of the Sinaloa Cartel, hit the kind of bottom most
people don't walk away from, and somehow made it back.On the One Last Hit Podcast I sit down with people who have been through it , addicts in recovery,
people who've done prison time, survivors of overdoses,
family members who watched someone disappear and then come back. No polished stories.
No watered-down redemption arcs. Just real people talking about what it actually took to get sober and stay that way.If you are fighting your own battle, loving someone in the middle of theirs, or you just need proof that people really
do get better then this show is for you.New episodes every week.
