The Man Warrior King Podcast - Confident Christian Men and Passionate Marriages

This is not a response video.
 This is not a takedown.
And this is not coming from a place of cynicism.
Over the last several months, detailed evidence, testimony, and documentation have come out exposing patterns of abuse, fraud, and long-term silence within parts of the charismatic church world — brought to light most clearly through the work of Mike Winger and others who chose truth over platform safety.
What’s becoming impossible to ignore isn’t just who fell
it’s who knew… and said nothing.
This livestream is an off-the-cuff, pastoral, and Kingdom-centered response to what we’re seeing:
  • The cost of elevating anointing over character
  • How spiritual language has been used to silence victims
  • Why “staying neutral” is no longer a moral option
  • And what biblical discernment actually looks like when it’s not driven by fear or celebrity loyalty
Let me be clear:
This is not an attack on the Holy Spirit.
This is not a denial of spiritual gifts.
And this is not a call to burn everything down.
It is a call to truth, light, repentance, and courage
because the Church belongs to Jesus, not to platforms, movements, or personalities.
If you’re confused, grieving, angry, or just tired of pretending this isn’t happening…
 you’re not alone.
Let’s talk honestly.
 Let’s stay biblical.
And let’s refuse to protect systems at the expense of people.

What is The Man Warrior King Podcast - Confident Christian Men and Passionate Marriages?

Faith and masculinity meet kingdom living to help Christian husbands rebuild their confidence and masculine strength, so they can enjoy attraction-filled and passionate marriages.

You want to live a life on fire and on mission.

You want to be filled with such conviction and drive that you stop caring about what ANYone thinks.

You want to face each day alive, authentic, and fully present in every moment: with your wife, kids, on the street, at the gym, at work.

You want to bring yourSELF to the table, and to stop bringing the watered-down, nice, what everyone wants version of you.

You want that self to be a man who is burning in passion for Jesus, unafraid to bring his kingdom to anyone in your path, no matter the cost.

You want to love the one in front of you without fear, without needing love back, and without reserve.

You want to experience God for real, to not just believe, but to KNOW that he’s got you and that he’ll show up on your behalf. That he’ll show up THROUGH you.

You want to get to the end of your race and say, “Yep…I gave it everything. Jesus, you know I’m all in.”

...And you want to know just how to get there.

Welcome to Man Warrior King. Congratulations. You are among the violent taking the kingdom by force. You are among the chosen, answering the call to rise above your self. You are in the forge being stripped down and strengthened—and you WILL rise stronger, solid, unshakeable.

You are a man. You are a warrior. You are a king.

If the way that we predominantly think as a Christian culture has been passed down to us from a generation of leaders that has been widely corrupt, fake, and perverted, why would you not question everything that is the

norm the party line for Christian thought. Why would you not? If it's true, you shouldn't be afraid of questioning it.

Well, it has been quite a month in the Charismatic Church world. It's been quite a month in the Church world at large. I, for years, have been a firm believer in the power of the Holy Spirit, the power of God active today. And in the work that I've done with men, I'm always not only looking to help them

revive their marriages, also I've always been teaching them how to believe God's word for what it says. Excuse me. And a lot of times when I work with guys, we start off focusing on marriages and we get to a place where we are focusing on growing in their experience of God. And so

I have been watching the work of Mike Winger over these last couple of weeks, ever since he ⁓ published his Sean Bulls video. And I've been very saddened. I've been very heartbroken about what we see going on. And I...

I was very, I will say very honestly impressed with Mike's work because normally what we see when we find videos, you know, exposing quote unquote false prophets and ⁓ heretical teachings and stuff. Honestly, what I have seen most often is

very inflammatory ⁓ video creators who have a personal issue with ⁓ charismatic types of thinking, ⁓ doctrine, whatever. And from my, what I see is not a personal vendetta, but an honest desire for truth, an honest desire for character.

a desire to see the entire church.

Just grow up.

So over the years, he's also published a video exposing Todd White and some of the different.

just horrendous character issues that go on with him. And I will say, hearing all these names, because those are only two, there's many others that have been named and we know about the recent Mike Bickle ⁓ scandal and all the abuse victims and these other names that have been brought up and the horrible, disgusting abuse that

Charismatic church leaders have perpetrated upon both men and women and they have used quote unquote prophetic giftings in order to absolutely ruin people for their own sexual perversion. This is a lot of the corruption that goes on. Not to mention the

jockeying for money and big donors, not to mention to just play in the old faking prophecy, faking words of knowledge, faking healing testimonies.

So we have all this stuff going on and we have then ⁓ church leadership like Bethel, like Chae-on, like other names in the Charismatic Movement that apparently have known about a lot of this stuff for years and nobody's ever said anything. Nobody's called it out. Nobody has gone public to the millions of us who follow.

and said, hey, by the way, we have been deceived by this person. They are not who they say they are. Character is still important in our movement. That hasn't, that hasn't happened for years.

And I am very encouraged by the apology service that Bethel had. I also don't feel like it's the end of the road. And I think there's a lot of trust to be rebuilt. And if they really mean it, I think there's some more actions that need to be taken about people other than just Sean Bowles.

We have a lot of work to do and...

I want to speak to this because first of all, I, when I have worked with people and I have taught things, even in my podcast, I have talked very highly about ⁓ Todd White, especially. ⁓ I've spoken highly of the Bethel leadership and I'm not saying that the Bethel leadership is all shot to pieces. ⁓

I'm saying at least for them, I'm holding them with a healthy amount of skepticism right now. With Todd White, the evidence seems to be pretty clear. He has manipulated and lied and is not the person that he says he is from stage. And I can't stand by my recommendations of him and others that I gave for.

a good deal of time. ⁓

I

I need...

I need it just be known.

that they're not who I have said they were. But here's the other thing. What's gonna happen a lot right now is there are going to be people who want to throw away the entire charismatic side of the faith. This type of scandal is the exact type of fuel that will feed

the people out there who always use these terms like, the prosperity gospel is evil, it's destructive, it's dangerous, who talk about how, show me the evidence, show me the doctor proof, show me that, show me that, show me that.

And they don't, ⁓ there's plenty of people who have already decided to not believe in the working power of God. And this type of thing will only feed that.

But here's the thing.

We have set up.

completely false.

debate, if you will, a completely false dichotomy between the Word and the Spirit. In the church, have this thing like, we're a Word church. The Word is where it's at. The Word, Word, Word. And then there's the Charismatics, which are the Spirit, right? That's stupid.

This entire construct of their word churches and their spirit churches is stupid.

There's no logical, sane line of thinking that should say the two are different.

And that drives me bonkers. Where in our right minds did the charismatic movement ever, ever decide to like,

move away from the Word of God? And where in our right minds did the more evangelical, Bible-thumping, Bible-based churches decide, we're going to keep out the power of the Holy Spirit?

What the hell?

That is the stupidest thing I've ever heard.

So you're telling me that we've gotta pick sides?

No way!

there's a ⁓ somewhat degrading saying out there about non-charismatic churches, which is that they believe in the Father, the Son, and the Holy Bible as the Trinity. And I would agree that that's often the case. The charismatic churches have kind of made the Holy Trinity our celebrity leaders.

prophecy.

and excitement of the moment.

I have made it a very intentional practice of mine that when I teach in my different groups, I teach in my podcast, that I am always expounding from God's Word. And in my opinion, if you honor the Word of God,

There's no freaking way.

that you can say that the Holy Spirit's power and gifts and miracles are done. Honestly, if you honor the word of God, there's no way that you can come to a final conclusion that prospering is not part of God's desire for his people. You dig into the word and you stop injecting your own preconceived notions, your own prejudices, your own

Hatred for the corruption and you read his word for what it says

It should lead all of us into tongue speaking, sickness healing, demon evicting.

prosperity bringing army of believers who are walking in both power and character, who are walking in authority and the presence of God, who are walking in truth and in the leading of the Holy Spirit. There's no way that you can come to a conclusion that it's one or the other.

There's no way you can.

And I know there's plenty of people out there who have come to that kind of conclusion.

well.

It's time that you rethink it.

just because there are wolves in sheep's clothing who have done fake. And I've listened, I've listened to the recorded audio of leaders like Mike Bickle or whoever else talking about how there's so many fake manifestations of God's power and the spirit out there, but they love it. They're fine with it because there's a small fraction of real.

over yourself.

No, there should not be a massive amount of fake and only a small percentage of real. Now, there will be people who fake, but leaders faking stuff.

You should never, as a leader, faking stuff. No way. There will be believers in crowds and audiences who want so badly to have encounters with God and they might conjure something up for themselves.

And to that, the book of Matthew, Jesus talks about the weed and the tears grow up together and he says, hey, don't worry about the tears. At the end of all things, my angels will come and they'll sort out the real and the fake.

But we should not be presenting a culture where we welcome the fakes.

To me, all that shows is that you don't believe that the real is really all that real, even though you claim to. So you've got to settle for a culture built on fake manifestation.

Get it.

Right now, what the world needs and what the church needs more than ever is a generation of leaders.

who are not going to shy away from the power of God, because I will tell you, I think the dominant Christian culture, at least in the US, is still non-holy-spirity. It's still non-authority of the believer. It's still non-finished work of Jesus. It's still non-preaching of your identity as seated in heaven with Him above all enemies.

The dominant Christian thinking is still, God's not all that active in your life today. He's only really active as far as, you know, being a conscience goes. But with everything else, most of his activity is either on the front lines of the gospel in a jungle somewhere in South America, or it's in heaven when we die. That's the dominant thinking. Thankfully, the charismatic movement has been dismantling that.

And yet now here we find that we've been being led by a generation of leaders that are fake and corrupt and disgusting to the core. And I don't know that all of them are, but I don't know that they're not now.

So we need...

Believers who will believe again.

who will not elevate the spotlight above character, who will not elevate the excitement of the moment above authenticity.

who will not elevate the power of God above scripture, but who will not elevate scripture at the cost of the power of God.

Because even though these different people are fake and corrupt, it grows some of

That doesn't mean that the power of God, his desire to bless and prosper his people, the authority that a believer carries, it doesn't mean any of that is fake.

And I want to challenge you to not let your faith and your assessment of what's real and not be based on another man. Be based on a teaching from some other person. You want to know why my faith in all this stuff isn't shaken? It's because I have pursued it for myself.

And I've seen the healings for myself. I've given the prophetic words for myself. I have grown in this and I've failed at it and I've succeeded at other times and I failed again and I've succeeded.

But I know it's real because I've done it. And I haven't just sat around looking for the next conference I can go to to get my fix.

I've wanted to make it mine. And normal. an everyday thing.

and we have, whether you're charismatic or not, we have a church culture today where the men have been lazy.

They have let their pastors or their small group leaders or the preacher on YouTube run their faith for them. And we have believed so many mindsets that are not scriptural.

simply because we've been taught them.

And I get a lot of people mad at me for what I say.

For what I believe, I've been called a demon, I've been called demon possessed, I've been called a messenger of Satan, I've been called a heretic, I've been called a false teacher, a false prophet.

I get a lot of people mad at me. But here's my question.

Scripture should back it up.

But we have been taught so much garbage that scripture doesn't say.

So yeah, we've got these charismatic leaders that have been doing fake things and whatever, there's lack of discernment. I would like to suggest that the church at large in both conservative non-holy spirit and holy spirit circles has been guilty of a lack of discernment. We haven't been thinking and we haven't been letting what God says be the thing that we base our

worldview on. We haven't. We've been letting what the Christian teachers say.

fill that role. And it's exactly what Jesus warned us against when he said, you honor and you elevate and you cling to the traditions of men. And by so doing, you've made the Word of God have no effect.

Honestly, this is the problem with the non charismatic thinking out there. There's that tradition of cessation ism and God is ultimately controlling everything and his sometimes he's desires to heal and sometimes he doesn't.

It is all tradition and none of it is biblical.

So here's my call to you.

Take your faith seriously and figure out for yourself what God says.

And don't just parrot the party line.

Because the party line we've gotten is full of holes, it's weak, it's created passive, pessimistic, sissy pants Christians.

And if you take your faith into your own hands and you dig into scripture and you find what it says for yourself and you find that I'm wrong, okay.

And I don't want it to be thought about me, by the way. I talk big. talk confident. I talk strong when I'm talking about masculinity and marriage. I have passion there. Sometimes that can convey that this guy's got it all put together. He's figured it out. He went through his process. He tied it up in a bow and now it's done. And please do.

not hear that. Do not think that.

I am a wildly different man today than I was 10 years ago. My marriage is exponentially better today than it was years ago.

I am more confident, am more secure, I know my identity more. I've seen a lot more miracles now at this point.

But I...

am not all put together.

I am still in process.

I still deal with hovering puppy dog husbanding tendencies.

I can feel it come around and knocking from time to time. I deal with passivity. I fight it. I fight discouragement.

Fight heaviness.

I still fight with my wife from time to time. I hurt her feelings.

And she hurts mine.

And yet...

so far from where I was. And I love her and know her so much better than I ever did. And she loves me and knows me so much better than she ever did. And she likes me a lot. There was a time she'll tell you that she wondered if she'd ever like me again.

She wants me.

and I can help men get further along. There was a time that I had no idea if I'd ever see any miracles of God and now I work them and that's gonna piss people off.

But I do.

through Christ in me, the hope of glory, through the Holy Spirit, the seal of my inheritance, through the same power towards me that was used to raise Christ from the dead and seated him above all rulers, authorities, powers, dominions. That same power is in me. And I've been learning how to tap into it. I've been learning how to work with the Holy Spirit. And I've seen miracles. And it's not

The power is not from me. Everybody's like, everybody's so obsessed.

with making sure.

that nothing ever sounds even remotely close like you have any good thing to do with anything. And that's stupid.

I have power to kick out demons and heal the sick and it's not because of me, it's because of him and it's him in me. But it's my decision whether I'm going learn how to use it.

but I'm not perfect by any stretch. I am human and my only plea is the mercy and grace of God.

and

if I have ever conveyed.

that my process is done, that I am a man who doesn't struggle.

very sorry.

I do, battle. I struggle.

But I know from scripture and know from experience I will always win.

That's what I want for you too. I don't want you to feel like if you are in process or things are hard for you that you should be ashamed because you're not getting it like someone else is.

I want you to have grace for yourself in your process and understand that even in your weakness, you are strong. Even in your weakness, can confidently say, I am valued and honored and beloved of God. And I carry authority that he's given me over all the power of the enemy. And I am awesome because he's made me so. And you can say all of this. You can be confident while

simultaneously holding space.

for your weakness and your imperfection.

some of these leaders have presented that they never struggle with anything anymore, especially Todd White. I haven't told a lie in however many years. Come to find out he's lied all kinds.

I'm sorry if I've ever conveyed that my humanity has faded so much that I've just become nearly perfect.

Hopefully that's not what has been picked up.

But I can honestly say that that is a temptation when you begin to lead and you write a book and you have a podcast and you communicate to other men how to change their lives.

how to see breakthrough, how to get from point A to point B. There is a temptation.

to make it seem like.

You've done it. And it's finished.

Because if I still struggle, what if my message is not actually all that effective? If I still have to go back to square one sometimes, then maybe what I'm saying doesn't work and nobody will believe it. And there's a temptation there.

And so I'm, I'm stating that here openly.

so that there's no misconception.

Cause I don't know, I may never be big. Maybe I will. I don't know.

I don't want to build anything on the back of a lie.

Some of the things that I teach about husbanding and being a man, I do pretty darn well at. And other things are things that I have to work really, really hard to do. I so many, I've been open about this. When I coach different guys, I've been open, hey, this action item that I'm giving you, I wish I could take credit for it, but my wife had to beg me for this. She had to spoon feed this to

I'm on a journey and I'm in process.

But I think I have a pretty good sense of where I'm going and how to get there. And I can point others.

in the same direction.

I'm just sorry that we as a church have dropped this.

and that we have.

created a culture of super Christians that have made the rest of us feel like schmucks.

Everything I am and have is a gift from-

I couldn't.

I couldn't do it without him. And there are some guys out there who don't follow him and they've done amazing things.

I don't know how.

We all do.

to stay at that place.

even while we pursue breakthrough, while we pursue power, while we pursue the authority, while we pursue healing.

Freedom.

thriving bedrooms in our marriages. Now we pursue prosperity, increased finances.

But we have to stay.

humbly dependent on God.

⁓ Humble doesn't mean, woe is me, I suck. Humble means.

Everything I am is his and from him. I am awesome, but it's only because he's made me.

You are awesome because he's made you that way. You are a gift to the world just as I am. You're a blessing to the world just as I am. And that should help you be confident.

You are above all rule and power and authority because you are his body. Everything was put under his feet. That should make you confident and it should make you humbly in awe at the grace and the kindness that he's shown you.

Thank you, God.

I'll see you next time.
