Show Keep K short, but still feels long
Simple style sucks, this show still fucking sucks. Just too many late for us trying to a show Virtue singling, how they're so wow. Simple style sucks, this podcast sucks, Simple Style sucks.
[Silence]
Welcome to the 549th episode of Cinema Psyops. I'm your host Cort, the guy that's gotta do the notes this week for Rolling Vengeance from 1987. And joining me with the colored commentary is my cohort.
My cohort and
Horton crime and co host
Yo I feel like when you say the movie name you have to say it almost like this is how I always imagine. Rolling Major!
Mm, see I disagree. This is a film from nineteen eighty seven. I think you gotta do it like a hair metal screamer and be like, Rolling!
Oh that's another good one.
Chance
[Silence]
Seventy percent of white dudes can sing like that, which is why the eighties was filled with that shit.
It is wild how good we are.
Um at uh screaming.
Yeah. Well I uh I have a little bit of a surprise.
Not even just screaming. It's screeching.
Yeah.
Yeah, white men are very good at screeching at each other. And other people.
Mm.
[Silence]
get into it a little bit. I have a little bit of a surprise for everybody. Uh I made the executive decision that since a song was featured in nearly its entirety in this film, that I was going to record it and use it for one of the songs this week. So only one of the songs
this week is going to be created quite literally before the edit, whereas this one, one of the songs, will be recorded quite literally as I was taking notes.
No.
No, well there you go.
But it was the song in the motherfucking mall.
Fucking montage.
So I had to include it.
Oh yeah. Gotta have the song for the fucking montage.
Yeah, but I'm gonna play the song for you for a little bit, Matt, because uh I don't I don't think it rocks hard in the way that they think it rocks hard. I think it rocks hard in the way they didn't intend.
Mm-hmm.
I'm just gonna say that, okay?
Gotcha.
Gotcha. Everybody keep that in mind'cause we're gonna be doing the review and I just want that in the back of your heads until we actually play the song for you because the song rocks hard, but not in the way that they intended.
Right.
All right, so we're gonna take the break here. We're gonna play the Legion Patreon ad, and then we will have the song that will be created quite literally before the edit, because I plan on playing the other one after the review because spoilers, everyone. Sure and simple. Spoiler alert.
Yeah.
And then when we come back we will do the review of the ROLLING VENGEONSE From nineteen eighty seven.
Yeah.
Oh.
Oh, hi there. I didn't see it.
You call me cutting a new show.
Show.
I'm Bo Ransdell and I'm one of the mini creators you can find on Legion Podcasts.
My fellow podcasters and I work hard to bring you the best in horror podcasting.

What's that?
[Silence]
Not that, but also, yes. No, what I'm getting at is that there are server costs, costs for good microphones and software for editing, all the things that make our shows, you know, fun to listen to.

Big Joe's got a monster truck!
made of pain and fury late at night with Father in those tires Joey, don't you?
[Music]
He's I!
Just is right! Just is right!
[Music]
Out here!
[Music]
Doyle sons!
They wreck lives with a truck full of terror, they collide. But Big Joe spirit won't back down. He's on a killer path, ready for the fight with flames and steel. He sends steel.
RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII
[Music]
He took his world now, it's time to ignite.
[Music]
Wicked in the small town hell!
[Music]
Well hopefully that song that was created quite literally seconds before the edit. Um hopefully that at least tells the story a little bit of Rolling Vengeance!
Um
All right, let's stop before people quit the podcast in a rage.
Then we're yeah, they're gonna kill us.
Go ahead.
Go ahead, get your own.
All right, so rolling vengeance.
Yeah.
Nineteen eighty seven. The film opens with a big rig truck driving down the road with an eighties rock song kicking in the speakers, and then the title of the film pops up and it is done up to look like the logo from a heavy metal band from that era, which is not stuff.
Stopping us from wanting to sing it like an eighties rocker, for God's sakes, wanna sing it.
Yeah, exactly. You're not doing us no favors over here.
The opening credits roll at what looks like a truck stop being shown, and a at about two minutes we get some dialogue finally.
So that is our first call.
Breaker19, this is little Joey Russell calling Big Joe, come on back.
Yes. Richard button!
Let's keep it.
Turn last night and deterred about a hundred miles out of my way before I got back on track. I hit a spot of bad weather. I'm just outside the county line.
County line now.
I got the pedal to the metal and I'm letting her roar.
Okay, bring it on home.
कर दो कर दो कर दो Full of shit, Tyler.
Amen.
Oh man, you hurt my feelings when you talk like that. Racing the county line. Get it, man.

Vic, someday someone's gonna punch you in the mouth and put an end to your sex life.
Well don't fuck with me, Russell. I'll see where you lose your contract. Who gives a shit? Hey!
Just any way to do business?
That kid hit the dock and smashed a couple cases in the ground.
Don't get so riled up about it. I'm sure Mr. Joe Rossell here is gonna volunteer to pay for the loss. I'll take care of it.
I have to go all that door.
I apologize.
[Silence]
We could always go in, although I didn't.
[Music]
Lady What are you doing?
We're the women against drunk drivers, Mr.
I don't see any drunks driving any of these cars, do you?
You allow people to leave your establishment drunk.
Drunk.
We're protesting that.
They're not drunk.
They're intoxicated with joy from the great times they have in this fine establishment.
This place is so disgusting.
Oh, that's so.
Well, it's on private property, ladies.
And I don't appreciate you or anybody else.
Litter in my
My private
Private property.
So why don't you just take yourselves and get on the hill away from here?
I think we'd better go.
Love me married for one.
Of course I might be able to interest one of you in one of my fine used car.
I may have a job for you.
감사합니다.
We need to talk a little bit about Ned Bailey's look in this'cause it is quite something to be honest.
[Silence]
Flat top.
Yeah, but like with a duck tail, like he's an old school greaser that's been doing his hair like that since the fifties. Exactly.
Exact and he's got a old fucking grease ball shirt too, so Yeah.
Yeah, and he's wearing like a leather jacket for a good portion of this, including this opening sequence where he's first introduced.
Yeah.
Black weather biker jacket. Yeah.
Yeah, yeah.
It's a weird look for old Ned Beatty.
I don't know if Nebbie I don't know if Nettie can pull this one off.
They're all supposed to be like hillbillies, basically, this whole crew. Like I don't know where the fuck this was filmed other than it's obviously Canada. But
But but like they're supposed to be basically like like like really, really rural criminals, like hillbilly criminal types. Yeah. Basically that's my family they're trying to portray.
Ha ha ha ha.
A Pennsylvania family, huh?
The pencil talkie.
The Pennsylvania.
Areas that I grew up in. Yes. Well anyways, during that clip, the friend challenging our would be main character nearly collides with a combine just to get ahead of his friend and he's a bit of a hot dog in a show off.
That's uh that's not safety.
They cut from that drunk driving protest at the end of the clip as it's
being squashed to the father of our would-be main character driving a pickup and the main character in his rig as the father gets harassed by some asshats who then toss beers. They're the guys making trouble in the clip. They decided just to be dickheads again.
And they're mooning the kid. Go ahead.
They're little shit faces who need to die. Yeah.
Yeah. They're moon and the kid that's in the rig, so he speeds up and slams that truck until the father tells him to back it off via the CB. They all pull into the house and then start a talking in our six.
Second club.
Thank you.
The trucker gets mad, he gets into trouble.
You get into trouble, you deliver late.

And you don't make your payment, you lose your payment.
You lose your rig, okay, but I don't understand why we deliver for those guys.
It pays the bill!
No.
[Silence]
Yeah, it's raining.
Chodź, chodź, chodź.
Wow.
[Silence]
For me?
No, for me, that's for you.
I might let you drive it.
Thanks, Dad. I won't let you down too.
Vielen Dank.
Wait, wait, wait!
Wait, wait, wait, make a wish, make a wish.
You did it!
Terrific. How old are you, baby Kristen?
I'm not a baby banana.
Baby banana breast.
Me squirt.
Chilly.
Joey, stop teasing squirt here.
Yeah, but
Here, open my phone. No, no, no, no. Mom, can I be excused?
Will you go now, Joey?
Just after the barn.
the bar. Don't you want some cake first?
I'll have some later.
Later.
How's it coming, Josh?
Great.
But when are we gonna get a chance to see this thing?
I'm gonna have it ready for the big truck show in November.
Hi.
Yeah, throw your parents.
Can't see.
Yeah.
I just had a meeting and I thought it's not 5-0-M.
Great.
I wanna take you for a ride in my dad's new truck.

Gotta hate that place.
We tried passing out flyers there today.
You shouldn't go near there.
Yeah there.
Did you know Mr. Cooper got killed by some old drunk who's leaving tinies?
Just stay away from there, Misty. They're bad people.
And how come in your dad work for them?
We don't work for them. We're independents. We just deliver what we're contracted to.
Just ask him.
It's a business.
We gotta eat, don't we? Pay for our rigs?
Sorry, yeah.
Jesus.
[Silence]
Forget about it.
Don't you like nah?
Ha ha ha ha!
I wanna drive. I'm gonna pull over and push you in the back.

Hopefully get big on
and get big ones like dolly.
like Dolly Purton.
Yeah. Goodbye.
Will you play one of those?
One of those music boxes for me? Yeah.
At the end of the clip, they transition to our would-be hero and his lady making out and looking really awkward doing it. They pause to talk about their love for it.
And neither one of'em wanted to be there for that.
Yeah.
They pause from that awkward kissing to talk about their love for each other and well, it's so cute, it just has to be our third clip.
Well this is what they call podcasting.
This is in fact the only way I can podcast these days.
Th this should be the only way you should be podcasting. I don't get what anybody else is doing.
I love you.
Really?
Yeah, really.
I don't really have to go.
I'll see you tomorrow.
The way you think about it.
Well Joey, I think about it all the time.
I'm just trying to find the right guy.
Oh yeah, Joey, uh If you really love me...
Don't hunk a horn when you leave.
Makes my dad crazy, okay?
Promise.
Okay. Tell me again how Joe.
And how Joey did.
Sure, we did fine. I just wish we'd have gone to college.
Study's gonna end up just like his old man.
Hehehehe.
It's not so bad.
There's a surprise in the closet.
For me.
Is your name Big Joe Russell?
Try it on.

Right about that.

She can wear out.
I ain't gonna live forever.
I'm counting on you. I'm disappointing you other boys.

Yeah they assole.

At the end of the clip, the truck full of drunkers swerve their way in front of the mother, of the would-be hero, and the wife of Big Joe with her kids in the car. The narrow miss enrages her, so she pursues them in the first I have witnessed of a direct accident.
action, mad mother literally going against a drunk driver sequence.
Not not in a little bit, but good for them.
The rage that she has fizzles out as the assholes break beer bottles on her windshield and force her to stop so they can harass her by breaking her window and then sexually assault her in front of her children. The one guy forces a kiss onto her face, which is a hundred percent sexual assault. Yes.
Yes, they are assaulting. This is assault. This is what assault is.
She fights the bastard off, I think she bites his lip, and then drives off with them chasing her like a pack of rip is shit stains that they are. The chase continues.
Until the careless trucker from the beginning comes barreling down the road, which causes the woman to swerve before the truck plows into the car, smashing it up. This was an excellently done sequence, but the fact that it is motivation for the revenge that will be rolling short.
Portley is driven home as they cut to a funeral for all three family members. Holy fucking dark. I can't fucking write about this, so there's dialogue. That's our fourth clip.
The Lord is my own.

At the end of the clip they cut to Big Joe as he looks at a photo from his
Wedding day, then he enters his daughter's room to play some of the music boxes she had, firing all of them up and making a big cacophony of noise that it quickly makes him break down. As the son comes in and witnesses this grief. Fucking heavy shit. And this is
Some of the best acting in the film that these two guys are are doing a heavy lift of all the emotions that this film's trying to hang on you.
Yeah.
Yeah.
They cut from that to a lady in a bikini shaking her moneymaker to cheer us all up, and then another in lingerie at Ned Beatty's club where he sits.
Down at a table of dumbass murderer rapists who make excuses. I don't want to fucking write. So this is our fifth claim.
Wasn't my fault, God damn it. That's right.
That's right, Posh. She's trying to pass on a goddamn hill.
As a beer.
You was drunk again.
No, I wasn't at a couple beats.
Couple beers.
It's bad for business. Now everybody's gonna be looking for us, watching us. I already got the woman's leak calling up my aunt.
One more time.
I'm sure.
Yeah. Are you sorry?
What do we?
Did I spot boy?
Come on, come on.
Come on, come on, let's do it.
Your mother's.
God bless their various souls will be very disappointed if you.
What I want to do is just take a living shit.
There were tits out during that clip, so thank you, Movie.
There were. Thank you, movie. And though we also had to see Ned Beatty next to there.
Ha ha ha.
And the end of that clip is a little bit more than a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit
By the way, this whole movie makes me not feel bad for Ned Beatty in uh
Uh Deliverance. Deliverance. Yeah.
Yeah. Give me a second here. At the end of the clip, that takes us through the first third of the film.
Now you can go ahead and add your commentary.
I'm just saying, yeah. No, that that uh that made me not feel bad anymore for uh dipshit Ned Beatty and his horse shit.
Maybe surviving what happened to that character in uh Deliverance made him
Go move to where he is here, change his name to Tiny with everybody, and just basically use and abuse an entire generation of women to have all of his sons. They imply it kind of heavily, but I'm just gonna come right out and say it. Every single one of those goons that we're
work for him that are stupid are his children, which is why they're goons and his and stupid. But they're his children to a lot of different strippers who have come and gone and left the children behind. And he implies that they're all also dead. So I think what he does is bang them until he gets
Mm-hmm.
And then he might doesn't want to have to pay child support.
Yeah.
Maybe I don't know, but like then he also hires them so he can just pay them all but to be his goons and lackeys and he's raising them all to be misogynistic fucking rapists.
I guarantee you though he's not paying them. So that's why he's having boys, it's so he can have free labor. What they used to do on farms.
Yeah.
This is dark, man. This film is very dark. Like it's
Yeah.
Yeah. Yeah. I've made jokes last week about yours being kinda like Mad Max because of the weird action and like the rig that would like will not be stopped or pirated on the road kind of thing. Yeah. You know? Uhhuh. But
This very much feels like a Mad Max world where like the law is just letting these people run rampant and they're getting away with murder more. Yes.
Yeah. I mean literally murder. They literally got away with murder.
Yeah, and it's implied heavily that these guys are running around raping women and that's what they were trying to do when they wanted to crash the girl. Uh crash the wife.
Ex the crash the the the woman with her two small children in the car.
Yeah, it's fucking insane that this movie went there.
Yeah. But I mean you gotta have a reason for the vengeance to be a role in. So why don't we move it?
Yes, that is true.
If everything's okay.
Yeah.
Why don't we move on to the middle act then? What do you say?
Let's let's do that.
All right, so the middle act starts with a courtroom testimony that is our sixth class.
Six clips.
Mr. Doyle, in your own words, explained.
Explain to the court.
What happened?
Well me and my brothers was delivering twenty cases beer to the Boris had tavern out river.
Had you been drinking?
Well one or two, Mr. Daw.
All right, proceed with your story.
We was moving along mining our own business when this lady come Up from behind us.
She started to pass us, but uh Guess you just chose the wrong time'cause she couldn't get back in the right lane move.
Before the truck took her out at the bottom of the hill.
He's a liar, Your Honor. A damn liar!
Liar!
I'll have no outbursts in my court, Mr. Rosso.
Or have you removed from the courtroom?
So you at no time prohibited Mrs. Rosso from passing?
Passing? No, sir.
I have no further questions, Your Honor.
My brakes were locked on. I mean I thought she was gonna make it all right back.
But it looked to me like they speed it up and wouldn't let her back in.
You say they
Him him and his brothers behind him.
referring to the defendant.
Mr. Victor Doyle? Yes.
Yes, sir.
Did you see?
Mr Doyle, step on the gas.
The court finds the evidence insufficient to support a manslaughter conviction.
However, there is no doubt that mister Doyle operated a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.
Three hundred dollars in one year in jail, suspended upon completion of an in hospital treatment program.
program.
No!
Now listen to me!
That man killed my wife and kids.
He might as well have blown them away with a shotgun. And you find him three hundred boxes.
Hundred bucks.
He ought to be struck up by his balls!
[Silence]
Because of the tragic circumstances I have been
I have permitted your rather unusual outdoor.
usual outbursts.
Court sympathizes with you, as it does with all victims.
All victim.
I only apply the law.
I don't make them.
You may sue Mr Doyle at the civil court.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Terima kasih.
I'm sorry, Mr. Ross.
Mr. Russell, I'm really sorry.
Sorry.
Joey, listen to me.
Get away from me, Steve.
Just get away.
Damn it.
Damn man, it wasn't my fault. You're a hot dog and you drive like you have a fire.
Yeah.
This was not my fault.
It never is.
Never is.
That really wasn't bad.
Bear.
Deep hurts.
I doubt that.
[Music]
It's right.
You get it back.
You gide idiots.
Considering the circumstances, I guess we won't be needing your services anymore.
You go sue me, asshole?
Get in here!
How
Alright.
What are you doing?
I feel like a beer.
After the clip, they pull into the strip bar and the son watches his father put a decent sized wrench into his boot before doing it. I feel as though this is not going to end well for him, and that may be what gets his vengeance rolling, because so far we have had rolling and vengeance, but not
A rolling vengeance. No, we have not had
Not like Vengeance. We've had rolling. We haven't even had Vengeance yet. I haven't seen any vengeance.
Yeah.
Yeah. Rolling violence.
Ha ha ha.
All joking aside, they do start one hell of a bar fight and the action is pretty decent. It's
Yes.
It's not like roadhouse level of eighties bar fight action, but it still feels pretty real.
You ever notice there was more bar fights in the eighties too? Like you don't see as many in like nineties movies even. It was it was like just the eighties was just like again, it's like quicksand, acid rain, plutonium.
And uh bar fights. And that's that's just what you expected to have happen in your world.
world. There is a moment that is actually really pretty realistic in the bar fight as well where there's one guy with a broken bottle at play where he's trying to get at Joey the kid with it. Yeah. And that kid pauses
While that pissed off dude is brandishing that broken bottle and he's like holding off for a second and the guy's like, Oh, look, I got you scared. Well, now I'm gonna cut you. Well, the kid figures out just within a moment how to take care of that when he pauses and just thinks and he kicks the fucking
Hell out of that dude's hand with his cowboy boot, yeah, and basically makes him drop the bottle, and then he fucking pummels him. And that was actually pretty realistic. That was actually kind of
That's and and also smart. Yeah. Affect the hand holding the weapon and you don't got so much of a problem no more.
Yeah, it looked like he kicked it hard enough with the edge of his boot that it may have broken the dude's thumb. And that's exactly what he was looking to do. And it was really well choreographed too.
Oh yeah. Totally.
Ned Bailey pulled.
out a pump action shotgun at the end and the wrench comes into play probably breaking Ned Beatty's arm to force him to drop the shotgun. The trucker who hit the family car joins in to help the father and son during the battle because he noticed their truck at the
Titty bar, and he picks up the shotgun to get the father and son out of the bar with his life threatened by the real ass murdering rapist pieces of shit. They cut from that to the dad, Big Joe, staring at his barn late at night with a concerned look.
Look and then cut to the big rigs hauling down the highway, and they are being stocked by the asshole murderer rapist pieces of shit who have a big stack of cinder blocks on an overpass. And we know what they are planning from the visual context, but the filmmaker.
Makers chose to have these guys sort of narrate it anyway, so that is our seven.
Seventh clip.
[Silence]
So yeah, that was a choice that they made that I just had to share.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Sorry everybody. I'm petty.
Yeah. But we needed it.
They smashed up.
Smashed up the older truck, which was supposed to be driven by the son, as the father took the nicer rig, they said in the beginning.
But that isn't how it happened for this run, apparently. The old man is in the older truck that gets smashed up and he gets all fucked up and that truck jackknifes and crashes. Wow, it was spectacular. The crash was absolutely well done, and the action in this
This was really well done. But again, it's very dour, grim stuff because they're purposely trying to murder this man. Yes.
Yes, exactly. They're like, No, you g you need to die and he's like, Uh fuck, I don't wanna
The goons run off cheering and they cut to the hospital where the son promises
Yeah.
And they cut to the hospital where the son promises to get all of those bastards, and thus we start a motherfucking montage.
Yeah.
Gotta have a montage in an eighty flick. Gotcha.
It's set to a rockin' eighties music that does not in fact rock the way that they think it does.
No, it's it's not it's it's not good. But I mean it's there.
I'm not actually saying that it's bad either. I'm just saying that they intended to make it rock in some way, but it does rock, but in a completely different way than they intended now.
Now it could rock and maybe even roll. Yeah.
Yeah. And when I play the song, Matt'll know exactly what I'm talking about and I'm sure you will agree with me, Matt.
Yes.
Okay, so it's
I watch the fucking
That's the fucking movie too.
My main point is the chorus of this song is just so odd that I had to back up the movie to record it, and that is why I'm making it one of our songs for this week, just so everyone can hear it.
Right, but it's a fucking cool montage. It's just that the song kind of diminishes the effect they're trying to do, is all I'm saying.
I got you.
I got you.
The sequence itself is actually really cool. It's the one of the kid it's basically one of the kid welding steel and then scouring junkyards to build a machine upon which his vengeance can be rolling.
Yes, because you have to have the rolling vengeance.
Yeah.
He finds lots of military gear in this junkyard he is scouring, including a spyglass-like device that's meant for a tank that is miraculously still functional and well maintained. He also finds a big old auger of some sort for like what looks like
Making a big ass fucking post holes in the ground like for big, big fences or even barn posts. It was huge. Yeah.
Yeah.
And it's still in terrific shape, even though it's been sitting out in the elements for some reason. So that is shown to be functional at the end of the sequence. And it's a really well done sequence. I am not making fun of it. I'm just saying like this kid is really tremendously lucky with everything he has found.
Yes, very much so.
All right.
Alright, so They cut from this to some titties, so I suspect this is the titty bar, and it is shown to be just that.
They then show the rolling vengeance leaving the barn that is somehow just big enough to exit it, and this thing is like a literal deathmobile out of fucking Mad Max, man. It is incredible.
Yeah. It is it's uh it's it's pretty rad.
It's a fucking weird tank like box on top of a humongous tractor style tires that look like they belong on heavy grading equipment. This thing is rough and ready and looks like something a pissed off kid would build to roll out some vengeance.
Yeah. It definitely looks like something that uh Some little motherfucker's like, Yeah, I need to I need to get vengeance and a bunch of drunken fucks, so build me a goddamn monster truck.
It's built like
It's built.
It's built like a self taught but
purely like not fully educated engineer would have put together. Like he really it's rough and ready and ready to go and it really feels like that's what it is, you know? Yeah.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, exactly. But it's impressive looking. It's a monster truck semi.
The first act is for him to roll over every car in Ned Beatty's car lot, costing a lot of money and giving me a lot of fucking joy.
Yeah, yeah, that was good. That felt good.
Joy of childhood when monster trucks like this were all the rage. I just it's a just a pure line of powdered nostalgia for you to just snort up all at once. Chef's kiss, man. Watching a dealership get ran over by a monster truck that is built like a semi-monster truck.
Yes. Yes. Th no notes.
Blow the fuck out of'em.
I'm actually allowed to admit that I watched this several times just because I love seeing a monster truck destroy a car dealership in the confines of it being a fictional story. I needed to say that part. It's in the confines of it being a fictional story. I don't want to see this for real.
How how many how many lawyers are in the room with you right now?
Enough to make me actually wear put those out word for word, and I'm getting a big thumbs up and they are going to hand me a sucker after I'm done.
Ah, that's nice of them.
Usually they don't have to do that.
they don't do that.
Holy shit, it's actually THC lace that they bought legally via the federal uh hemp.
Claws. So
Very nice.
Nice. Nice. I want to finish up this review for that guys. Yeah. Yeah. Thanks. Yeah. Okay. So let's move on.
All right. Back to back on.
An old man witnesses all of this destruction of the dealership and then goes back in to order a drink, and it was just too precious not to include a czar. Eighth clip.
[Music]
I haven't heard from you.
I've been busy.
With your project? Yeah.
Yeah, I had to make some changes.
Yeah, me too. I'm thinking of going away to school.
I guess your parents will be happy.
Well what about you, Joey? Will you be happy if I go away? Do you want me to leave?
'Cause I love you.
[Music]
I love you.
[Silence]
Sorry.
Just not very good to be.
these days.
[Music]
The end of the clip dissolves into a tender and vanilla love making scene, but considering
That neither of them wanna be there for
No, this is a little bit more believable the way that it's filmed. They seem a little bit more passionate. But considering that this is the very first time for the lady, because
Because they actually discussed that earlier in the movie and it's very uh obviously stating that he wants sex and she's not ready. She's waiting for the right guy.
Oh God, and that way's what yeah, and it makes what happens later just the worst.
Of course, because it's an eight eighties exploitation film. But let's focus on on this because I think this is appropriate because he is being gentle and loving to her because she is it's her first time and he jigs whatever. It's an odd storyline detail to show
But basically I think it establishes what a good man this young guy is,'cause he legitimately cared for her and he waited as long as this movie implies that they were together for quite a while until, you know, she was ready. And I think they wanted to make him like the ultimate boy scout who loves.
And is just pushed too far and that's like Mad Max basically. It's
Yeah, well and I think they also set it up not just to show how good he is, but to be like, And this is how bad things are gonna get.
Yeah.
Yes, you know that having watched the film. Me writing these notes had no idea what was to come.
Yeah, I had no idea that...
Things are gonna get bad.
Yeah. So the sex scene ends with a cut to the devastated car dealership with the cops talking about it. So that is our ninth clue.
Lord, sweet.
Sweet Jesus, life.
[Silence]
What the hell? I think I don't...
I think I'd have done some- Don't like it.
Yeah.

I'm at this radio store.
[Silence]
Yeah, the eight track might still be good, Pa.
He's helped.
Lazer bugger.
Alright.
[Silence]
Tiny.
[Silence]
What can I do you for?
You got any idea when it's done is?
Not a clue.
There's been a lot of accidents happening around here lately.
What do you hear about Big Joe Rosso's rig clipping?
Yeah, I can't drive.
No. Tripped over my deck.
Really?
I know how you feel.
Happens to me all the time.
Thank you.
I'd have to be shot in the head before I'll let anybody.
Got it.
Fuck with me like this.
Nine years we've been out here from Arkansas. Nine years I've been busting my ass to build up a nice little business. Now somebody's gonna destroy me.
No!
All right, I'll give you three guesses. First two don't count. It's either Steve Tyler or the Rossellone.
Possible. That's right. Remember that.
I think that their asses would look real good nailed in my wall.
Well, why don't you tell the pigs, Paul?
'Cause I don't let no tin badge pecker head do my life.
Ha ha ha.
We handle feuds right here in our own family, right? That's right, Power.
High power, that's right.
Yeah.
Right? Right.
Victor.
[Silence]
Yeah, Pa.
Your brothers.
Their mothers was.
Slow.
Expect much from them.
Now don't get disappointed.
Your mother.
She's my favorite.
ご視聴ありがとうございました I'm gonna count on that.
[Silence]
Can't help themselves.
All right, at the end of the clip, they cut to the trucker who collided with the family car on a later night haul. A van pulls up and they start shooting at him with a shotgun. He is unharmed when they shoot out his window, and thus begins a chase with the trucker swerve.
to prevent another shot being able to be taken and trying to keep them behind him so that they can't hit him. The truck turns, the van pursues, the trucker calls for help, and well, CP talk, that's our technical
This is Steve.
This is Steve Tyler. Break a 1-9 emergency.
No in emergency.
See emergency.
Emergency.
See you.
Come in, please!
[Silence]
At the end of the clip, they shoot out the front tire, making the truck pull over, and they go ham on the truck, shooting the fuck out of it with shotguns, right before the rolling vengeance answers the call from our previous clip and runs one of the fucking guys right the fuck over.
Transforming him somehow into a dummy while doing it still looked pretty fucking.
Still looked very fucking cool. Doesn't matter that it was a dummy.
What a hoot this silly fucking flick is becoming. Holy shit. Like it's yeah. It's dark as shit, but like it does some things that make you feel like kind of I mean, like you have to really hate these people, but I already do. I don't think he needed more justification to murder them all than before his family.
No.
No, no, he he he was right on to do the murder and
Yeah.
Well, the rolling vengeance pursues the other brother who takes off in the van, as the coward as he is, leaving his brother behind to get ran over. And then he fires up the awesome.
Inside of that rolling vengeance to pull off the back doors of the van. I think he also kind of breaks the rear axle because it makes the van spin out.
I'm not a hundred percent sure, but I think that's what they implied he did. Uh
I think so.
I think so.
This film is super nineteen eighties at this point and really is going all out as the van swerves into a stop because of this drill out, and then rolling vengeance lives up to its name as it rolls the That van flat, turning the driver into the van into a dummy as it goes.
Yes, he did.
They cut from this to our eleventh clip.
[Music]
Better wake up Sullivan.
He's gonna
He's gonna wanna know
Wanna know about this?
How many bodies?
Uh two
No
Do you need a tow truck? Are we talking major medical employees?
body bags Ah, shit.
Homer, we're talking to you.
Talking a street sweeper in a doggy bag here.
[Music]
They're two of Tiny Daw's boys, Brian and David.
A lot of alcohol levels.
alcohol levels twice the legal limit.
Doesn't surprise me. Five drunk driving charges, including one for chocolate.
Until now. And that kid, Steve Tynard? Oh, he's okay.
Blew the shit out of his rig before whatever safe would come along, though.
Women's League strikes again, right, Mahoney?
Tyler Kidd said the phantom vehicle looked like something out of a bad dream.
Same disaster though.
Which leaves us with
us with several unanswered questions. Who the hell, how the hell, why the hell, and what the hell.
Thank you.
Yeah, put your buns down there, Dod.
Yeah.
What you do that for?
Wait for the blessing.
Lesson.
Yeah.
Mm-hmm.
Well, you're hits, dammit.
What kind of low-life scumbag assholes did I raise here? Your brothers, your own flesh and blood, not even coals.
And all you can think about is to feed your fat bellies?
We gotta eat.
You got it.
You gotta eat.
[Silence]
You are.
You want to eat it, eat it, you eat that.
Субтитры сделал DimaTorzok
Put it down!
[Silence]
Okay. All right.
Now Vic tells me!
Then he sent your brother.
Your brothers.
Out to get Steve Tyler.
Now that means...
He got to him, or Joey Rosso got to him first. Now you can't let that happen again.
You got to make'em pay.
You got to make them pay or you cannot come back here.
I care cuz I'll kill you myself!
Join your hands in prayer.
in here. Come on.
Watch off!
God. We want you to look after them two boys that are no longer with us here.
And God come on.
Come on, God, God. Help us get the low life sons of bitches that did it.
Amen.
Amen.
Amen.
Thank you.
We need more potatoes out here.
The end of that clip takes us over the
End of the middle act of the film. So we are right at the very tail end. Some of the brothers are dead. The car dealership is destroyed. He's getting his vengeance and he's rolling it right over things. And the rolling vengeance just so happens to
[Silence]
Ja, ja, ja, det var som.
It's
I mean, don't get me wrong, it's ugly as shit. It's not a aesthetic at all. It is one hundred percent very functional and it does look like something the A team would have built in a matter of minutes uh to be their own personal tank. Because they did that shit all the time out of bulldozers and stuff. They did, yeah.
They did, yeah. They always made like it was always a bulldozer, you're right, or like a dump truck.
Rocky.
Yeah, but it was definitely cool. However the fuck they did it and however they ended up setting it up. It was very neatly done. And yeah, I do like the way that it looks because it's very rough and tumble and very functional and that
That makes it more believable. Like that it's not all this like amazing aesthetic thing that just some kid built, right?
Yeah, right. Yeah.
Yeah.
It's just so nice. It's it's it's got it's rough.
Rough.
It's this functional thing that this kid engineered to get vengeance on the people who slaughtered his family, and I don't blame him at all. Yeah.
Yeah, it's rough and tough.
Are we ready to go through the final act then?
Let's do it.
Do it. All right, so the final act starts with Junior's lady hanging up the phone and unfortunately our twelfth clip.
Daddy, uh
Thank you.
I've been calling Joey all night and I can't get an answer. He's probably out in the barn working on his rig or something. It's just that I'm getting kinda worried, so
I'm gonna go over there just for a little while, alright? Right.
Well I know.
Thanks.
I guess there ain't no
There ain't nobody home.
Cause we've been waiting.
But you're real disappointed.
Probably thought you was
You wasn't gonna get it tonight.
It tonight.
Here we
Here we are.
[Music]
Uh
So that clip obviously leads to a rape scene that was thankfully cut away from, but the aftermath we witness where Joe finds her is just as fucking awful and heartbreaking.
To use this as another excuse for his murdering is just vile and exploitative. He could still get the other brothers. They didn't need to do this. This was just vile and exploitative to add to the film.
Yeah. I felt maybe killing his mom and his two young little sisters was pr uh then his father It was was probably a
Putting his father into a coma and smashing his face up because of the crash. Yeah. That's more than enough. This did not need to be added other than
other than we didn't need a gang rape scene. Uh
Yeah. For a woman who had just lost her virginity, by the way. Yeah. So you know, somebody who's already kinda felt sex was a very important thing and should be treated as important. Yeah, you you fuck you, movie. How about that? Fuck you. Yeah.
Yeah, this would be ordinarily one hundred percent.
automatic failure uh of the film like where I just like no I don't ever want to fucking watch this again. Yeah. I understand the context where this took place. I will one hundred percent skip this scene in the future because there's no point. It shouldn't be there at all and it's dumb.
Good job.
[Silence]
They cut from this to the rapist brothers hidden out somewhere as one of them wakes up the other, they have dialogue I don't want to describe, it's fucking disgusting, so we all suffer through that for my thirteenth clip.
Let's get some breakfast.
dog breath
Yeah.
Yeah.

I ain't scared of nothing.
It was that.
Hell if I know!
[Music]
Okay, so they take off in fear as the rolling vengeance is in pursuit. They hide behind some piled up brush and argue over who should go look for the monster truck, as the bigger one forces the little one to go look to see if the coast is clear. It appears to be so, so they think.
if they are okay, when out of nowhere behind them the monster truck appears to run over their vehicle and then chase them through a cornfield one at a time. The smaller brother hops a fence at a plant of some sort and tries to hide in a building.
Only to have the truck plow through the door and chase him through all of the stored produce that the man tries to hide behind. They repeat this with barrels, and the man tries to hide in an office structure that the monster truck runs right the fuck through.
through killing him in the process, one would assume.
Yeah.
Yeah. Basically the one brother the one brother gets run down in the cornfield and he makes sure that he gets the brother under the tire when he does it, because he runs him till he's tired and he can't run as fast. Then the kid Joey
just lines up one of the tires and runs the guy over and it's wide enough it's like this giant construction equipment type tractor tire that it
Yeah.
Right through.
Right through, no problem.
And just fuck off, you die.
Right.
And then it's the same thing where they repeat that where he runs over the guy in the office, although it's implied that he basically collapses the office pieces on top of the guy and then basically Panini presses him with the truck and the office pieces. Yes.
Yes. Of course.
Which is a very, very fitting death for both of these pieces of shit, but I still think it was too merciful.
Yeah, yeah. Still two mercy, but at least they're dead.
They cut from all of this to a reporter.
Reporter and R
Well uh how about a motive officer?
I guess I can't say that on TV.
Isn't it true that these two men were related to the two guys that
[Silence]
Yes, sir, they were brothers. Tiny Doyle's boys.
Do you have any clues?
I'm not at liberty to say I
Just one last question. Okay, Charlie, take the body bags back to the mortgage.
Yeah.
Fly. Fly.
What? Doesn't it bother you that the only people getting squished are related to tiny?
Not particularly.
Uh, why do I get the feeling that you've got a good idea who's been doing all this?
Maybe because you got the same idea?
do something about it.
Mr. Mahoney, if we catch this rolling vigilante.
And I take my early retirement.
Who's gonna keep the drunks off the road?
Yeah and a something about an innocent people start getting hurt.
Thank you.
Let me think about it.
the latest up to the minute.
Weather in sport.
Filed in the newsroom of WXJ nine sixty on your dial. The two bodies police found earlier today have been positively identified as David and Timothy Doyle, brothers of two men who were killed less than a week ago in a hit and run accident near River Road. Police suspect foul play in the Yeah.
Yeah.
So far no suspects have been identified.
Police are searching for clues that could connect the deaths.
Right.
Reporters on the scene have been told that the only clue that has emerged is that in both incidents a massive monster machine was involved.
On the international scene.
[Silence]
Doctor Fraser.
Call free.
Call fifteen.
Fifty.
My name's Sullivan, I'm with the sheriff.
Good morning.
Told me your dad took a turn for the worse.
Doctors right now.
Damn shame hopefully makes it.
[Silence]
Doctor Howard called twelve.
Call twelve.
Dr. Howard Causewell.
I guess you heard what happened to the uh the Doyle brothers.
We suspected it was someone who didn't much like those boys.
I guess that makes everyone in the county a suspect.
Thank you.
I didn't much care for them myself, but kill them's against the law, no matter how justified it might seem. So I got my work cut up for me, don't I?
There's a vigilante trucker out there that with a good lawyer might get...
Fifty years?
Maybe the guy figured that somebody had to do something.
Maybe, but I think he's made his point.
So if you catch this guy, you're gonna take him in?
It's my job.
It's my job, son. Yeah, if I find it.
I'm hoping that
Maybe he might just retire. Seems to me he's done enough venging for everyone.
Joey?
Ευχαριστώ.
My name's Solomon.
This is my girlfriend, Misty.
Nice to meet you.
You got some bad bruises there.
I'd hate to see the other guy.
My card.
We're getting modern even out here in the boonies.
Doctor Leslie.
Go to emergency.
Thank you.
Doctor Leslie emergency.
Doctor Howard.
Howard Hallwell.
It's you, isn't it? Joey, I know it's you. Look at me.
We gotta get out of here right now. Dora, they're gonna put you in jail.
Oh, the dolls are gonna find out and they're gonna kill you. Please, Joy.
Yeah.
Excuse me.
The doctor would like to see you.
Would like to see him.
I'm sorry.
[Music]
Amen.
[Music]
What? I think I heard some.
Maybe it's the ghost riders in the sky.
Might have just been the wimp paw.
Think he's gonna show?
Yeah. Thank you, cannot.
Maybe we should just gone over there and blown the shit out of him.
Yeah, why didn't you?
What do you mean?
How come you weren't with your brothers, Vic?
Qu'est-ce qu'est-ce qu'est-ce qu'est-ce qu'est-ce qu'est ?
Your brothers are dead. You're still here.
You'd say it'd be better if I was dead too far, eh?
I ain't no chicky shit!
I would have gone with them! I told them not to go. I told them the time wasn't right, but they never fucking listen to me and you know that, don't ya? Cause I ain't no chicken shit!
Well think you was always my favorite.
I hate no-
[Silence]
You say it to me. I want to hear you say it!
COME ON!
I should have known, Vic, that you never had any balls.
Ha ha ha
[Silence]
One of the good parts about uh these type of movies is uh when they uh uh w you know,'cause the kids are you know, they run the town but they're all so shitty and horrible that when they are murdered in vengeance and it's like, Well, who are the suspects? Well, kinda everyone, so sorry.
That's pretty much what the cop said in that clip.
Yeah. So I guess go fuck yourself. Don't be an asshole. And people won't kill you.
Yeah, don't be a scumbag piece of shit that is a rapist murderer.
Murderer
murderer and thief and maybe people won't want to kill
Thief and everything else. I mean I don't think there's yeah, there's not one redeeming quality in these people.
It's very important.
So die.
Die At the end of that clip, the sun fires off a shotgun blast and the film cuts to the monster truck as it drives right the fuck through the bar and out the other side, only to turn around and do it all again and
And again and again until it gets trapped, and then the guy finally exits with the cop and his girlfriend there, which is our fifteenth clip.
Oh.
[Music]
Alright, so the son of Ned Beatty gets in the truck after a mutual kill shot is delivered between the cop and Ned Beatty. Wow, that was a cool sequence, by the way. I really dug it.
Totally. Yeah.
Yeah. Joey and his girl get into the cop car to try and flee, but the monster truck is now in a weird reversal going with this film. Misty hides in a culvert and Joey lays down to get behind the truck. The idiot can
Not find Joey, so he pulls the drill out and then tries to drill out the culvert as Joey climbs on the truck to take on the bad guy in his own truck. Joey smokes out the bad guy but is pulled into a ground fight as the truck continues to
Move forward towards Misty to add to this tension. As the sequence comes to an end, we have tension up to the near last second of a chance that the bad guy gets, and then his head is run over, and the hero jumps into the cabin and stops.
Everything just in the nick of time, and then runs around to pull out the grate to help rescue Misty as they cut to our final.
Sly.
Okay, buddy.
We got an ID on the phone.
Yeah. You're not going to believe that.
[Silence]
Looks like Vic didn't much like his family either.
[Silence]
It's like morning's coming.
Have a happy retirement, Sylvester.
They cut from that clip to our hero and his lady walking away into the rising sun as a literal new day begins in their new lives and they roll those fucking credits.
[Silence]
Yeah.
Yeah, so this film is really a bummer. Uh they at least do a sort of happy ending. I feel like his lady was going away to college, so I think they're gonna just go together for a fresh start, and then maybe he's going to I don't know if he'll ever try.
[Silence]
Yeah. I think that would probably be for the best.
Yeah, especially since uh the cop was saying something about fifty years in jail for all the crimes he'd committed. Yeah.
Yeah, I mean uh
That's some time. That's some time. That's real.
It's real. Yeah, and he's killed enough people to where it could almost be a capital offense, even if it is vehicular in nature. Yeah.
Yeah, but no, because it it wasn't him, it was uh the other guys th their own family killed him, remember?
Remember they they gotta
They got a perfect frame job going on here.
I almost feel like the kid kind of did that almost on purpose.
Yeah, of course he yeah. I think see I think he did. I think he's a fairly smart kid.
That's why, you know, the dad was always like he always wanted him to go to school instead of being a semi truck driver like him. So maybe now that's what like the kid will honor his dad by doing that.
Again, the rape scene automatic fail if you hate that sort of shit, which you absolutely should. It has no purpose being in the film, but the rest of the film definitely has some really cool, powerful moments, and it's actually a pretty well-made film. Uh, I don't think that the film
Would have made that choice for that rape scene post-1980s because it just doesn't make sense. And that was just a thing that was in all of these revenge quest movies. This is like Deathwish with a truck. And there are rapes in Deathwish, and it sucks and they're awful to watch.
And it's just basically the same sort of thing. It's just like Mad Max. You get raping Mad Max films as well because there has to be some kind of awful thing that you
It's the worst fucking thing you can do. Yeah. The the only way to do it worse if you don't want to have rape in it is like
Like have a orphanage just do a cookie sale and then you gotta make the bad guy, I don't know, light it on fucking fire and the kids burn alive, but you're gonna have to hear those kids screaming.
Uh God, yeah. It's it's a shortcut and it's lazy writing to just show how awful people can be.
But instead of killing kids they just have people getting raped, which is again the worst fucking thing.
My lawyers are very uncomfortable with your opinions, but they're okay with it because they're not your lawyers.
Yeah, yeah.
Yeah, yeah. Well and also my opinions are okay because they're not saying any of this is good.
[Silence]
Yeah, I'm done talking about the film. How about you? Yes.
Yes, me too.
Me too.
Alright, well I wanna focus in on the actual song that I pulled out of the film, which we're gonna play after the show housekeeping. And I'm going to play it live for Matt and I'm going to explain to him what the chorus is and why this song rocks hard, but not in the way that they intended.
Alright. Here we go.
Go, here's the show housekeeping. When we come back, Matt will definitely be agreeing with me and we'll end this fucking show.
If you've decided you can't get enough of the show and would like to check out more of it, we're available and just do a quick search for Cinema Psyo. Also available along with all of the fellow Legionnaires on the Legion Discord chat. Thanks for listening to the show. I still can't believe that you're subscribed to us or here every week just

[Music]
That is the song and yes, your ears are not wrong. You 100% hear the chorus, I'm coming upon you this time.
My God almighty.
It's supposed to be I'm coming up on you this time, but the way the guy's singing it is I'm coming upon you this time.
Yeah, it's it's it that's not yeah, that's not what he's saying.
Uh that is gonna be a clip. I'm gonna clip that chorus. The most dramatic Singing of it for the chorus, I'm going to clip that for the show.
[Silence]
Matt, are we in a concurrence here? One hundred percent this song rocks hard now, but not in the way they intended.
Yes. Song rocks hard. Yeah, no, that's not what they wanted.
He's building a big truck to the theme song of I'm Coming Upon You This Time. Yeah.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Not good.
Ha ha ha.
Ha ha ha ha
That doesn't mean what you think it means. Don't Google that either.
Well, while you're out there deciding whether or not you should try to Google that, kick the fuck out of this weekend make it your bitch.

Awesome and can you hear that?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Oh, I know why you can't hear it. Hang on a second.
Now let's try that again.
Um
またね。
Did you hear it now? Perfect. Yeah, you can hear it now.
Ja, oh ja, ja.
Yeah, not too loud.
And it's light enough. Yeah. No, it's light.
Oh okay. Too quiet. You want a little louder?
No no no. It's good. It's it's perfect for what we do.
Cool.
Yeah, still good. Perfect.
Perfect. Okay, and I am recording main recording. Let's do my zoom back.
Back up.
I'm not saying that.
Recording in progress.
Alright, it is now recording for Zoom as well. Everything is ready to roll. I got my clips up and we are ready to go for rolling vengeance from nineteen eighty-seven, episode five four nine. Ready?
Five four nine, let's do it!
Run!
Oh god, we gotta talk about Netbaby okay.
Go on, dead baby.
During that crip uh
Sorry Dad, but those guys pissed me off!
Yeah, Dad!
Motherfuckers are throwing beer bottles and shit like Your movie's gonna be a hell of a lot more fun to talk about than parts of mine.
Oh god, yeah, this this movie gets dark, like fast.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I'm trying to do it.
I was already
I was all ready for more fun.
And uh I think get more fun.
It was a fun Where was I?
For all
Film's called Rolling Vengeance for a reason, man.
Yeah, no, I mean you're not wrong.
Really? Yeah, I just don't want to have to make out with ya. Groats.
to go.
I don't know.
Think about it.
Let's play that by ear, alright baby.
Goddamn bitch, what do you offer me? Well you want a ring? Fuck.
Fuck!
I broke up with a girlfriend one time using the line where a inferno of love should be, I barely feel a spark. And I think you may feel the same way.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And she was like yes.
And then we weren't.
Anything more than kinda like Fun time buddies from there.'Cause that's all the more we liked each other other than friends.
That's still way more poetic than me when I just uh you ain't all that great no more. And then left.
I was like, I've got passion, but when it comes to love, where there should be an inferno, there's not even a spark.
You didn't look at it.
I think you agree with that.
Whoa.
Oh that was that's
That's still more romantic than the way I broke up with a girl. I just stopped calling her and blocked her number.
Yeah.
Yeah. What?
There's really no romantic way to break up with anyone.
Yeah.
Yeah. Not that I was doing a lot of breaking up, usually I was getting left.
Yeah, same. Same. I mean, this is just kind of how it is.
I'm very loyal. I just basically knew where my heart was going in that situation and I was like, well I don't wanna claim you for love.
I don't want to try and stop you from finding someone that will actually care about you.
No priest will ever deliver any soliloquy quite like Stephen King does in a movie for Pet Cemetery. I love that sequence. His funeral speech in that when he's the pastor is really good.
Mm-hmm. I may be biased because I love Steven King. I mean,
Come on.
We went to New England and I specifically was like we are doing the Stephen King tour.
I don't know.
I was like, I would
I would be the same.
I was like, I have one demand. You give me this demand, everything else you plan, I'm fine.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, we stayed just outside of the city that like banger, like in the country, like in areas that were like where cabins would be and Stephen King stories and like did the tour and it was fucking amazing.
Yeah.
All right, clip is ending here.
How you doing? Oh you know my mom and two siblings are just dead but
Yeah, but yeah.
Yeah.
At the end of the clip they
You wanna go out back and make out a little bit?
Okay, so I'm starting to get high enough to where I'm having trouble reading the
[Silence]
Just a tad.
Going for it.
What's the-
Right.
Well it's legal, but once it's actually in place that I can
Yeah. I mean the federal stuff that's legal is still available to me, but uh that ban might go into effect, so we'll see what happens there.
Yeah, right. Let's find out what they're gonna actually fucking do on this date.
Not uh talkie talkie after this.
Forced tower now.
Uh-oh. Take another hit.
[Silence]
Bye.
I also like to live dangerously.
No, no.
I stopped the clip by trying to delete some stuff.
All right. If this fucks up the podcast, I just want you to know you should or not.
Encouraged it.
Okay. As I see also like to live dangerously.
Yeah. It's when he's about to like he's hitting on a twenty, right?
No, no, he hits on uh lay like an eighteen or nineteen and the deal's like, Sir, you have nineteen he goes, I like to live dangerously. And then it goes off to powers, he goes, uh seven and he goes, Stay listen I also like to live dangerously.
Seven is really just stupid though.
What?
What? You should hit on a seven. I mean, come on.
[Silence]
And the dealer said, Sir, I suggest you hit I also like to live dangerously.
Yeah. The only way to win there when he's on a seven is if the dealer busts, right?
Yeah.
But the dealer won't draw because uh the dealer had like s uh like a ten showing.
Yeah.
Oh yeah, I guess so, yeah. The dealer already had ten. Yeah, it's been a while since I've seen that sequence.
Yeah.
Is that where he meets a lot of vagina?
My thoughts.
Yeah.
Yeah, I'm sorry, your name is again I'm t I'm just not getting it. You know what? Never mind.
We can never cover those movies. We just can't.
Can't do it.
Why not?
Cause all we'll do is quote it.
Uh
The whole thing would just be a clip. It's all dialogue anyway.
Yeah, it would be it would be a you're right, it would be a clip movie. Yeah.
The only way we could do it is if we just fucking like we did like a filler time with it. We could probably do filler time with the Austin Power series. But if we're gonna do it we have to do'em all. And all the bad ones too.
So, since there were no bad Austin Powers movies.
The third one's pretty bad.
Yeah, but even then it has moments that I enjoy.
Anything with Goldmember because he was fucking hilarious. Gold member and Doctor Evil having to converse is always great.
What is the URA?
That's your honorable edible.
Order at a bar.
Whatever.
No, it's a double of everything you've got. Yeah. Yeah. What you would modify it as give me a double of everything you've got in the well.
Yeah, yeah. Yeah. Yeah, I'm not made of money over here, all right?
Or when you hear open bar.
Yeah.
Then you're like, give me a one of everything you got.
Yeah, then it doesn't matter. Open bar is open bar, motherfucker. I love an open bar.
Makes me horny.
Yeah.
Wait, I'm sorry, did I say this?
Yes, sir.
Yes you did. Clip is over. Fuck.
Sorry I hit something my accident.
Whatever.
Uh
I'm trying to edit my notes, but this soundplant program has something on certain keys so if I type the right thing like
Uh changing something from ninth to tenth clip. Mm-hmm. The H just so happens to be our break sign that tells us how bad we suck.
Oh, it's a nice outfit to do.
I'm gonna go cry.
About Big Joe Ruther.
I wonder if they really do think that we're two middle aged morons just babbling on.
Yeah, that's probably.
I mean I think that.
And I'm I'm here. And uh, you know.
Thank you.
Just talking about movies and getting it wrong.
Yeah.
Right, right. Yeah, talking about moon getting it on and they ain't leaving till six in the mor.
No, I said talking about movies and getting it wrong.
Oh getting it wrong. Oh okay.
That too.
I think you just want us to get it on, you beirdo.
I wanna get it on but with like my wife. That's bad. Not with you.
One, two.
In a tow truck, the talking major medical and body bag.
And Homer, we're talking the street.
in the streets way for a duck.
Doggy bang.
Fuck it back.
Ha ha ha.
Hey, the end of this clip will be the end of the middle act, so just heads up. If you got something to say, hold it'til I get those words out.
Gotcha.
Or don't and be a complete dick. I mean that would be on brand.
I mean I I have been known to be a complete dick. So drunk driving
Which is why I said it would be on brand.
Yeah, exactly.
But you just fucking watch out.
Watch my fucking mouth before you do it anyway. Is that what you're saying?
Yeah. No, I'm just gonna.
Yeah, wow, that was fucked up.
Yeah, I'm really rapey considering the film we're about to talk about.
Yeah, pretty much she didn't even have to be assaulted. She could've just heard the radio report and like been suspecting what he was You know what I mean?
Oh yeah, I'm still getting there's no reason to do that.
What are we gonna assume?
Get out.
Yeah.
My favorite part is when these type of movies happen, you know, it's like some gang who owns like the town or whatever, but they're all pieces of shit. And then it's like, Well, who killed my boys?
Uh I don't know man, your boys are assholes, so there's pretty long list.
Well we had a lot more to say about this one than we did the last one.
Oh yeah, the last one was Fucking almost a Disney movie compared to this shit.
Yeah.
My movie was a fucking feel good fun romp.
compared to this one yes
I mean it was still good.
Субтитры сделал DimaTorzok
Even without this one it was a feel good rop. No one really got it. I mean the bad guys got killed, but no one got really too terribly hurt and they just drove some plutonium around. Here people were fucking murdering and all sorts of shit.
This coming from the guy that was celebrating a woman being roasted alive for firing a multiple.
She was trying to shoot a truck that was carrying plutonium and steel plutonium for who knows god what.
That m she burnt alive to save the world, probably.
Yeah. Seriously, when the chorus kicks in, pay attention to the words.
I want
I want live reaction for outtakes on this, by the way.
[Music]
I'm coming upon you this time.
Oh my good God almighty.
The chorus The chorus says I'm coming upon you this time.
Time.
Don't come upon everybody!
What are you doing over there?
What are you doing over there?
I told you this song.
I told you this song rocks so hard now, right?
Right.
But not for the reason that they intended.
No, no.
This is like a porn theme. I'm coming upon you this time. Here it is, here it is.
I'm coming
[Music]
Jesus Christ.
[Music]
That doesn't mean what you think it means. Don't Google that either.
Well while you're out there deciding whether or not you should try to Google that, kick the fuck out of this week and make it your bitch. I would still recommend that they don't though.
Yeah, don't Google that. Don't Google that. Yeah, I mean, you have free will and I can't stop ya, but don't bitch about it later, all right?
Yeah, it's gonna mess up your fucking algorithms.
Yeah, yeah. But don't blame me when your Instagram gets all sorts of fucked up.
Recording stop.
