WarHams - Narrative Declaration

Possessed crewmen flood every corridor. Cherub swarms choke the maglev tracks. Lorne's psychic scream pops every baby head in twenty-five meters -- buying just enough time to catch a tram, loot a pristine medbay, and suit up in dead missionary power armor. Then something strips Lorne bare, chains him to a chair, and whispers: "Your friends have given me much."

three two one go excellent sexy everyone ready for another exciting episode of war
it's not the orchestra cut it out well it's not a work voice it's
yeah yeah this whole thing we're all normal now we're all normal now we're not green
uh welcome back everybody to another episode of warhams episode 19 and we are very much excited
to continue our unfortunate journey inside of a very much chaos infested ship and thurston hillman
would you please take it away we begin today's episode with our ambassadors deep in the
bowels of the carillon having exited from a cafeteria making their way to the sub spinal
maglev which they have identified as being the only means of reaching the four of the ship
and the strategium a blood spattered pie brain and lorn walk amongst the group pie brain having
been severely injured by some of the possessed crewmen that were discovered earlier you are
making your way to the ship and you are making your way to the ship and you are making your way
down several corridors at the moment tight maybe meter two meter wide corridors that snake around
leading towards the sub spinal maglev with various like descending stairs that you you take at
regular intervals to go down and down deeper into the bowels of the ship
along the way you find one of the
walls
is empty but at the far end there is a dull glowing console on the wall it glows with sort of a
pulsing green light from a data from from a data unit that is built into the side panel of the the
doorway the door itself is sealed it appears to be some sort of tight sealed door with a cog
mechanicus on it
there is only some civilization let us uh see if this is evil too i'm going to uh begin interfacing
with this panel understanding it's secrets okay okay yeah so you come up to to the panel you can
tell that the door is currently in a locked uh position it seems to be locked from the outside
um the rest of you so so pie you're coming up with the rest of you just following staying straight
behind
The hall goes on for quite some ways.
It's about a 20-meter hall
from the last branch point you've come off of.
As a precaution, I'm going to inspect the hall
to see if there are any fucking vents.
Okay, yeah, yeah, yeah.
You can give me an awareness test.
Oh, brilliant.
I roll to look at the vents.
Yeah, absolutely.
I get two and a glory?
Okay.
So, like, you're feeling very inspired
because you don't notice any vents.
Something in the back of your skull
is kind of twitching,
like some kind of almost low vibration that you hear.
Just this mmm.
Can I pinpoint that at all?
No, it seems to be coming from all around,
almost like it's vibrating off the walls.
Can I trace it on the walls?
Are the walls just straight-up vibrating?
No, the walls are not vibrating,
but it feels like some very small sound frequency
is bouncing off.
Can I do a tech to get the...
We have that radio with us, right?
The box that we pulled from the ship?
Yeah, yeah, we should still.
Well, you have your combeads,
which are connected to Pybrain's combead,
which is on the servitor on the Arvis lighter,
so it can then communicate to your starship.
Would it be possible for me to use the combead
in a way that would be more effective?
Yeah.
It would help track this source at all.
No, no.
This is some just kind of background noise.
If you had, like, an Auspex, maybe,
but, like, not a combead,
that's just going to send a signal
to the servitor in the Arvis.
I rolled to create an Auspex.
Okay.
No.
I will be next to Py watching him work at the door
while he does that.
I will have reloaded the flamer at this point.
Absolutely.
A little bit of two reloads, so that's good.
Okay.
And I will be taking position next to him.
Okay, so Py and Reeb,
you kind of head up to the console.
Lorne and Zedek, you're a bit behind them,
which you were when you were taking your approach
out of the cafeteria last week.
We were on episode.
What are you two doing as you see that Reeb and Py
are heading towards this console?
Zedek.
Go ahead, Zedek.
Sure.
Zedek will have reloaded his arc pistol at this point,
not wanting to be caught.
But also just trying to keep watch and pop any nasties
that might surprise our noble Medicaid and tech adapt.
Okay.
And Lorne?
Keeping psychic torch active and helping light the way.
Yeah.
Okay.
So you still have two of these orbs.
I assume one of them is sort of floated towards your allies
and one of them is staying by you and Zedek.
Okay.
Yeah, I think one's bright enough to be near us
and the other one's just like, oh, what's in that corner?
What's ahead of us?
You know, going all around.
Perfect.
Okay.
All right.
So, Pybrain, you've reached the data terminal.
It sort of has this, yeah, like green scrawling text
that indicates that the door is currently in a locked position.
You wish to interface with it.
I assume you're wanting to give me a tech check
to try to access your way into this terminal.
Yes.
So if there's anything else I can find on this terminal,
that would also be...
Useful.
Absolutely.
Let us discover and discoveries, you get it.
Yes.
That is going to be three successes and a complication
just to make us smile.
Excellent.
I always like seeing these.
Okay.
First of all, you're happy with that result?
Oh, yeah, sure.
Sure.
Whatever.
Yeah, like, oh, yeah, no, we...
Don't worry, men.
We've designed these doors.
You need nine successes to open them.
It should be easy.
They're a very proficient crew.
Or they were, anyway.
So you're attempting to access this.
You can tell that in order to properly interface,
you're going to have to break open a panel here,
which requires the use of your combi tool.
However, as you go in to access this,
there is a surge of...
There is a surge of energy, of electrical energy
that sparks over your combi tool.
You've managed to access the door
and can open it to carry on the path you need to go on,
but your combi tool is stuck in the access port
and immediately starts turning black
as this sort of witch light dances off of it,
these electrical arcs that spark in various shades of red and blue.
Uh, can...
Can I roll to attack it with the flamer?
Uh, I mean, yeah.
Like, you can just raise the flamer up to the unit
and just go...
If you want.
Like, that'd be just a ballistic skill check.
Speaker, you okay with that?
I will move away from the unit.
Yeah, about to say, you don't want to catch fire,
do you, flammable skitari?
No, I don't.
As a matter of fact, my friend,
who would never hurt me.
Bye, why don't you, Becca?
So I can...
Any motions for him to get behind?
Yes, yes, fine.
Just put the combi tool out of its misery.
It served me so well.
Foosh.
Yeah.
You just...
You torch the unit, like,
causing the combi tool and the surrounding area
to just char black.
There's more sparks of electricity.
The door, which has been opened,
starts sort of spasming.
You can...
You can see it open and then close,
open and close,
and it's sort of just doing this dance back and forth.
Reeb, you would immediately smell just this rancid,
like, meaty, wet odor from inside
that assails your nostrils,
followed immediately by the smell of your promethium,
which is now, like, filling the area
with a, like, light electrical smoke.
There's sort of this ozone and burning in the air.
But as this is going on,
and the sort of data,
the data terminal has been burned,
there's crackling from a Vox emitter at its top
as another of those log entries plays.
Zoran, can you play me number four?
Oh, boy.
Yes, sorry.
Pressing five million buttons and hook.
Guess that all that accrued leave means sweet fuck all now.
Oh.
Rest of the crew,
I've run across are all dead,
killed by other crew members.
Looks like some of those crew took their own lives right after.
It's like a fucking charnel house in here.
While I was on the upper railing,
making my way through the spinal belly,
I saw a 12-deck crewman overwhelm an armsman,
ripped her apart limb by fucking limb,
and they picked up her shotgun.
The fuckers passed the gift around like a gift at Sanguinala,
and blew their own fucking heads off until there were eight of them left.
Then they all walked away like nothing happened.
They had the same eyes as Yakla.
I need to get the fuck to somewhere safe.
And then the door is just like cracking open.
Again, sort of going back and forth with slight pneumatics.
Are there any pipes nearby?
No, nothing in the exposed hull here.
Okay.
Are there any lengths of anything that I could maybe pry off to try and jam the door with?
You could probably, like, do a strength test to try to rip something off a wall here.
Can I ask?
Pye, could you assist me with this real quick?
I need to see if we can jam this door open.
Awesome.
Yes, okay.
I'm going to do a strength assisting with...
Wait, what's your strength?
Six.
How about you do it?
That's a good idea.
Here we go!
I got three successes!
Yeah, you can, like, rip off a small panel on the wall,
probably something by the charred, damaged area there that has been sort of, like, warped open.
Okay.
I will take it from Pye, and I will have Reeb jam it into the door frame to try and get the door to stop opening and closing.
Maybe just wedge it open.
Yeah, it's wedged.
It doesn't fill the entire span of the door, but it's enough that the door has, like, maybe got maybe four inches of give,
so there is still just this pneumatic kjikonk, kjikonk, kjikonk sound.
But the door is not, like, closing entirely anymore.
So it's not enough for us to get through at this point.
No, no, it's definitely enough for you to get through.
Sorry, sorry.
When I say it's, like, moving forward, it's four inches from, like, the completely open position to trying to reclose.
So it's most of the door, like, 95% of it is now open.
But as you do so and sort of, like, push this down and keep the door open, the smell assails you from inside this dark room.
Wow.
I am used to such spells because it is my job to cut crap open.
As we proceed, I would like to actually make a scholar check, if you don't mind.
Before.
Now, any Imperial servant, especially one that's worked on spaceships, would know that there is great danger in a Galafield failure.
I want to know if the situation we've seen evolving here, having heard all of those logs,
in any way, like, does this sound like it was just another typical sort of Galafield malfunction,
or does this sound somewhat different, like this was maybe a planned operation,
or anything that I might know from just parlance as an Imperial servant?
Okay.
Yeah, you may give me a scholar check.
I am going to say that the difficulty number here will be probably five.
Okay.
Yeah.
I got six successes.
Yeah, absolutely.
This is enough for you to tell, like, the types of...
The scenes going on match some of the data you've heard on Galafield failures on starships.
These sort of, like, equivalent of ship ghost stories that are passed from cruise to cruise
and then make their way to little babies on little forge worlds of things that happen
when the Galafield goes wrong.
So this looks like there's no telltale sign it was anything other than just Galafield failed.
Uh-oh.
Yeah.
And so for those wondering, the Galafield is the sort of device onboard a starship that
protects it when it enters the hellish dimension of the warp.
Ships in the Imperium travel by traveling through the warp.
They utilize a piece of technology called a Galafield that allows them to be protected
from all of the hell demons and hell things in the warp.
Sometimes, however, Galafields can fail.
Ships can enter the warp without their Galafields active.
And almost universally, it's scenes of insanity and carnage, much like what is being experienced
by our players onboard the Carillon.
Well, that's good, I guess.
There's just this sort of buzzing sound coming now from all around.
Kat and Zedek will check his coat pocket almost instinctively to see if something is going
off.
No, no.
There's no vox unit that is ringing for you.
That's just a joke.
But Lorne and Zedek...
Now that the flames have sort of died down, and the smell of promethium is out of the air,
and the smell of the burning electronics is out, you two both smell the sort of rancid,
wet, meaty smell coming from within the room.
On a scale of one to bad, how much worse is this than the sump we were in on the deck collector?
Like, way worse.
I would like to make a...
Resolve?
Determination?
Um, it's not enough to, like, make you, like, wretch yet.
You just know that, like, this is the outer edge of something absolutely foul.
Oh, good.
It does get worse.
Yes.
I've, uh...
Lorne has casted, like, a super-tiny telekinesis.
Oh.
Oh.
Oh.
Oh.
Oh.
Oh.
Oh.
Oh.
Oh.
Oh.
Oh.
Oh.
Oh.
Oh.
Oh.
Oh.
Oh.
Oh.
Oh.
Oh.
Oh.
Tr length, hardcore gang, we got three of the mechanics here at the end of this episode of
the diyeơme lançés of the game, and for either of you who have a super-tiny telekinetic
dome on his nose...
Fuck you, that.
I guess we have to keep...
It's like that?
I don't smell anything, Xavi.
Funny.
Customerytardf.
Uh, funny.
Describe it to me, Xavi.
I can't...
It smells...
The...
It's...
The effluents.
It's...
Uh...
incorporating my collagen...
Uh?
Woah.
Did it smell like what the debt collector smells like nearly 24-7, Captain Xavi?
...No.
It's...
ship smells not that bad it's it can look it can be stinky sometimes but it's not this bad not even
the sump smells like that like rot a thousand years of rot i highly recommend understand
whatever you see is obviously abnormal we're going to see definitely don't touch it captain
zedek no matter what you do i have no intentions of touching whatever smells like that gentlemen
i fully intend to burn whatever smells like that that is an unnatural stench
as you proceed forward keep your mind focused not on what is around you
but on the calming certainty of prime numbers
that doesn't bring me any calm at all pop no count prime numbers it works
it works
it works
it works
it works
it works
it works
it works
it works
it works
it works
clone furrows his brow at the sound of math
right so let's start two three five you see this is great i'm gonna roll leadership
yeah go for it sure
i'll pump two uh two uh glory behind this because it'd be nice if we got some resistance to
fear and whatnot sure sure uh three successes to try to give us
at least a die on an upcoming
that's one success for every party member
I will
allow one
player who is not you
Pybrain to get a
bonus die on any potential
like checks they might have
to make related to things where leadership would
be relevant because of the power of prime
numbers I will give it to
Zedek
thank you
Kat and Zedek will
feel oddly
calmed by Pye's melodic
reading off prime numbers that he doesn't understand
and just kind of
staring off into space take a drink from his
flask in his coat pocket
in an attempt to swell his nose
and block out the smell
okay
so are you sort of all clustering together
and then walking in together
yeah I think so
I think we're not gonna
we're gonna be a group
we got fucked up when we went a little
nutso so I think proceeding forward
as a group is the best idea
okay
you walk into the room
which is
approximately three times the size
of the corridor you're in
it's roughly a six meter
wide rectangular chamber
that goes
on for
about
30 or more meters you can't tell
the sort of edge of Lorne's
psychic light just
lights the very far edges
and as you enter you can see
that the floor here is
caked in corpses
dozens
if not more are just
strewn about
several of them appear to be
missing limbs several of them appear to be
missing heads
there are some of them that are
almost stacked up as though they
fell on top of one another
it's hard to navigate
in here there's no straight
path ahead but you
can see sort of a flickering
door light at the opposite
end
though the door there is open
as well it
leads to a set of stairs
that descend down
can I make it more difficult for us to
navigate by making sure that I burn everything
along the way as we pass it
okay so you're just
going to like be torching things
it's like liberal intervals
as you're walking I will take the
back position and burn
behind us
okay first of all
okay so so so yeah absolutely so you're
going to take up the back
uh who's going to go in the front
pie should be in the front
okay
is that it could go after pie
okay and then lauren and then
reeb in the back perfect all right so
you you enter this uh
solemnly quiet uh
like reeb you you ignite
your your flamer and begin to sort
of
uh
, moving it around uh I require
all of you to give me a difficulty
three conviction test
ah as you enter this
scene of utter carnage
and you feel that just walking through
this corrupts your very soul
hey can I take two glory so I can boost
that because I would literally have to
make all three of my checks yeah of
course I'm going to take one as well
so we're just going to have to make all three of my checks yeah of course I'm going to take one as well
do you require any
no so may I take a donor
oh boy four you want just let's just use all the glory here
that's a wise idea
okay so okay nice job pie ah and I got a glory seven so pie you are
you are a nerd to this you just walk through triumphantly
uh I'm fine ah yes yeah uh okay is that a
word no
motivation
it's complicated you're watermelon
it's complicated but it makes it I guess
three the complication
yeah yeah okay perfect
all right that's the first time I think
wait, that's not resolve conviction conviction thank you sorry you're good
In meta context, chat has
steeled you against the wall of corpses
with the wall of glory.
But you make your way through.
Even Zedek, just so you're aware
of the complication for anyone who's curious,
if you fail and have
a complication,
that immediately doubles the amount
of corruption you take.
Which can be very
brutal. You
are walking through this room
and it's eerily
soundless except for the
buzzing that is still distant
from the hall you've
exited through.
At regular intervals, Reap, you
raise up your flamer and just go
let out a spurt of
promethium and begin charring the bodies
behind you.
Can you roll me a ballistic
skill test, Reap?
As you are basically just walking
and giving
again, liberal applications of your flamer
to some of these corpses.
Okay, perfect.
Long journey ahead of us.
Long journey behind us.
Looking forward to having to go back through this
although smelling ideally better.
Did you hit the ballistic skill check?
I did. Let me hit it again.
Levitimid that doesn't go through.
I look forward to missing
a bunch of dead bodies
as I roll a two.
It's okay. Perfect, perfect, perfect.
No, no, it's more I just wanted to make sure
you didn't run out of ammo while doing this.
Yeah, I know.
Listen, I will treat any loss
of ammo to make sure these don't get
back up or otherwise really
bad for us on the way back
as a success.
I'll spend as much ammo as I physically...
I'll use my lasgun if I have to.
I think in this case it's your...
because you're not
pressured or anything like that, you're doing very
concentrated
sweeps with your flamer, conserving
ammo but making sure to get all of
these bodies as you're sort of
being very methodical as the rest of the
group walks through this chamber
laden with corpses.
The buzzing sound seems
to abate a bit.
It's still off in the distance but you're making
good progress through this area.
Eventually you reach the
end of the chamber that
has a set of descending
stairs that lead
down towards some
where you can actually see lumen
light, thus sort of
negating the need for
Lorne's psychic orbs.
You can see that there is actually a glow
of lumen light from up ahead.
I can't see this.
I'm burning behind us. Sorry. Who wants to look
at that?
I will. I am Pybine.
I will
bravely look.
Yeah, Py, you
start making your way
down the stairs and
eventually you see it opens into a
incredibly large
maglev area.
The maglev station you
find yourselves in, the ground
here seems to be defaced with
all sorts of graffiti.
Possibly some
kind of
tribe on board the ship has gone
ahead or gang has
just defaced the ground here.
It's a maglev receipt station.
Immediately to your
left as you come down to the base of the
stairs, you can see that there's a
cogitator unit on the
wall. You can also see
that there are two maglev tracks, though
there is no train in the station
at this point.
And then there are various paths that lead
off. Up above, about
five
meters up are lumens that glow down.
There is a message
board along the sort of right-hand
wall several meters ahead of you.
That just reads with
error messages that scroll
in this almost like pink
neon light. There's also
track lights that seem to be on
the maglev floor. And then
there are various pillars that support
the open area here.
There's essentially another
like opposite the
like lowered
ground area where the tracks are.
There's another receipt station
on the other side.
Probably some
you would guess
like eight meters across.
So there's basically like an eight
meter wide, actually ten meter wide
gouge
in the ground here where you could see
the maglev trains would come in
and go from.
Does this place look nicer than the dump
before? No,
no, no.
It looks like it's
less well maintained,
but it hasn't seen
as much use. Like there's a lot of
people who probably come down here lounged
like this place doesn't see a lot of
a lot of use. So people
just kind of come down here and scrub
it. If you want to give me any
like checks as you come down as far as
what you are doing here. Yeah,
absolutely. I need to call down
a maglev and
I swear by the motive
force, if I need to pop, if I need
to get out and push, I will.
That
would not be beneficial on a maglev.
So Reeb, you've finished your
your
your
, your flaming. You
come down here. Ooh, a
competition on a check. Yeah.
So, so you go up
to the cogitator unit and you
begin checking and looking
to call the maglev,
which, which you, you begin
doing. However, as
you do so, there's
a slight
chime that begins to go
off on the unit.
As you can tell, you've
triggered some sort
of back up
firewall unit on this
cogitator station.
Alert.
Alert.
Tram summoned.
Unauthorized access
detected. Tram
summoned. No!
Authorized. You guys authorized!
There is a slamming of
doors as a set of
metal, uh, like large
metal doors.
Closed the stairway that
your group used to come
down here.
Yeah, that bouts well.
Oh, good.
Well, it'll get plenty of
those time for those
corpses to smoke out at
least.
Bram.
Bram.
Bram.
Pie, turn it off.
Ah!
I'm going to turn it off
the pie brain way by
smashing it in half with
my power sword.
Smash it in half.
Smash it in half!
That's right, I get
straight six.
I get arm restless,
space marine, and win.
You want to?
I'll smash it in half.
Why?
Trap.
And there's like this,
this crackle.
Can you give me a, uh,
just a weapon skill attack roll?
I would love nothing more, yes.
Thank you.
Here we go.
Whenever it wants to load.
That would be six sterling successes.
Yeah, so you just like smash
into the, into the unit.
There's like, again, a sound of
sparks.
As that happens,
uh,
there, there's another sort of
like side whine from one of
the, the cogitators, uh,
odd audio units underneath it.
And it sparks out of the error
message and then does nothing.
It just dies.
It's all right.
Bye.
What was the purpose of that?
It was going crazy.
It probably had terrible
demons inside of it.
Bye.
Are you actually a Skitarii?
Is your, is your response to any sort
of technical malfunction to simply
break it?
You would do well not to call me
that while I'm here.
The only thing between you and
the maglev.
Now, if you'll excuse me,
uh, there is a second, uh,
computer, correct?
Uh, there's one on the other
side of the tracks.
I'm going to jump there.
I, I, I grab hold, I grab
hold of Pybrain and I, I pull
him back a little bit going,
I'll, I'll get this one.
If that's okay with you.
Captain Zetick will put a hand
on Pybrain's shoulder.
Say it's okay.
Py, you're, you're my favorite
Skitarii.
I have total, total faith in you.
Yes, you are.
He'll pat his head.
Yes, you are.
You're, you're a really good
tank priest, Py.
I'll show you all.
Is there anything else in here
that requires, uh, the
ministrations of the flamer or is
it clear in here?
It's, it's like eerily clear in
here.
Good.
That's, I love hearing eerily
clear.
What else is in this station
except for the control panel that
Py just split in half like a piece
of cordwood.
Uh, so there's, there's the
control station.
Uh, there's a waste, like a large
waste unit, uh, receptacle.
Uh, so there's, there's the control station. Uh, there's a waste, like a large waste unit, uh, receptacle.
Uh, there's a waste, like a large waste unit, uh, receptacle.
Uh, there's a waste, like a large waste unit, uh, receptacle.
Just, uh, northeast of you,
there's the sort of message board.
There's a, a joining corridor
that heads off further northeast.
There's a door to the north that's closed.
Then across, oh, sorry,
and then to the southeast of you, there's another
adjoining corridor. Then to the west,
there seems to be some kind of, like, sitting
reception chamber for people waiting
for the tram. Then there appear to be
at least two more, uh,
two more, uh, jutting off
corridors and a set of stairs leading
up on the other side, along with the
cogitator unit on the other side.
And the only thing that we can use to control
the tram at this point is on the other side
of the station, because... Because the one on this side
has been, been crushed, yes. Yes, good.
Uh,
alright, well, there's nothing really I can
think of that I can actually, like, can I check
the, can I check the trash can?
Uh, yeah, you can head
over to it.
I gotta look out for anything at this point.
Reeb is paranoid as all hell
at this point, so...
Uh, okay, so you're gonna head over to the
trash can. Uh, Pybrain,
you've kind of, like, stopped after destroying
that, um, that cogitator unit.
Lorne, you said you were going to
handle something. Were you going to,
like, go across the...
Yes. The gap? Okay.
How are you planning on doing that?
I have an idea, but I want you to
tell me. Yeah, so this
has come, comes a little issue
on this one, that, uh,
at the very beginning of entering the ship,
I exchanged, um,
Levitate for Psychic Torch.
And, um, are we going
to continue keeping that now that this is
a new session, or would you like me to do another
exchange thing? Uh, if you
want to do another exchange, I'll, I'll allow it.
Okay. So
I'll exchange, uh,
what I currently have.
I'll exchange Molten Beam for
Levitation. Okay. And
I will cast Levitation on it. So I
assume this would be two Wrath's Eye on top of
my first one, right? Because I exchanged
one at the beginning. You want to keep one?
Uh,
I'll, I'll, we'll keep it at one. Like,
I'll just say you swapped it out here. That's fine.
Cool. So I'm
casting Levitation on myself, which I get an
11. Uh,
yeah, and with that, uh, you still have
a, you have three, so you
can... I guess I'll increase my flying
speed by five meters, and also
do the two one to increase plus one
strength for determining what I carry while flying.
Mm-hmm. So I
will boost myself up for that. And
Would you, like, for the, for the, what you can
carry across, are you wanting to
carry anything, or...?
Probably not. So I guess I'll make myself, like,
box speed. Yeah, yeah,
okay. Cool, cool, cool, cool. And I'll, like, boost it
up three, so I can now go, like,
15 meters very quickly.
Yeah, so you can easily
get across the gap. Yeah.
I, I fly over, and I assume we
have earpieces, where we can
greater communicate with each other? Yep.
So as I get over to the
terminal, I assume it's either simple, or do I
require the assistance of library? Oh, okay, so
you're heading, like, you're flying over to the terminal.
Yes. Okay. We'll, we'll, we'll get to
when you get to the terminal, one sec. Because it's,
the terminal's on the other side,
um, opposite. Yeah. So it's, like,
basically the 10 meters across,
and then, like, 30 meters
north. So it's, it's a
fair ways away from where, like, Pi is,
for example. Yeah, it's, like, I know
I'm going, like, Mach speed right now. Okay.
With, like... Cool, cool, cool.
But, yeah, definitely wait. Yeah, okay.
So you're gonna fly over there. Cool. Reeb is
checking that trash unit. Uh, Captain
Zedek, what are you doing?
I suppose just kind of consoling
Pi, because he's not, he's not being
taken seriously.
I'm not gonna be taken seriously!
I consider him a serious detriment.
Pi...
Pi Brain...
I know we don't always get along. Actually, we get along
pretty well. Yeah, we get along great!
Compared to the other two, we get along pretty
well. Yeah! You, you seem to
insult me the least with
actual malice. So,
here, I'll give you this as a,
uh, pittance. Captain Zedekal Fussle will fumble
with his coat pocket, searching for
something, and he'll pull out what looks like
a little, uh,
mottled gold lapel.
Uh, it just has
clearly signs of being passed
around or passed on for
quite a number of years. It just has a little
embossed smiley face on
it, and he'll give it to Pi, or
just pin it on his robes.
I would, uh...
Sorry, go ahead. Keep going.
This is the, uh,
the Captain's Star of Approval.
You're, you're
doing a good job. Just know I'm proud
of you, Pi. Giving him a fucking gold
star, you monster? It's, it's
not gold. It's not gold.
It looks like gold. It's not
gold. It's bronze. I will examine
this. Who else have
you given this to?
Nobody. It just kind of
gets passed around.
I am
the first. Yes,
I am the first.
And a shout of
for Lemuria that echoes
through this, this wide open space.
Um, Reeb,
you were checking that waste you did. Can you
give me an awareness test, please?
Uh, you roll awareness to check garbage.
Give me a
one I'm gonna, you know, I'm
in the mood, I'm gonna wrap it. That's
absolutely. Oh, wow, yeah.
I'll wrap it to a two. I hate this
game. Would you like to spend any
glory on your garbage?
I don't know. Do we got glory
to use?
You're gonna miss the multi-melt
that garbage can. I'm gonna give
three glory.
I'll believe.
You better believe in me getting
three more. Five.
So you're checking through the garbage
as, as like
Captain Zedek and Piebrain are
having this, this moment.
You, you discover that
like much to your non-surprise
there,
there's nothing.
In the garbage can. However,
however, as you're
sort of like perusing through it, you hear
something coming from one of the
adjoining corridors, and you just hear
this. We
bought it. Nope. We
bought it. Nope. I'm moving into
position. I'm going to fire down.
You, you look up
in time to see emerging from the
corridor is a group
of five of those crew
armsmen, and as they
emerge, they turn.
And like, they all look at you
and you lock eyes with them, and
they, they both just, as, as
you lock eyes with each other, there's just this change
in their, their repeat.
We found.
We found.
You die. Um, alright, so
we're gonna go into combat here
and I'm gonna switch us over to a real
big ol' map here.
Um,
in which you will see where you all are.
Now I can see what the hell you were
talking about, because it was hard for me to visualize that.
That map. Yes.
Yeah, this is gonna be a bit of a struggle.
Yes, it's a big map.
It's a big map, boy.
Sorry, chat, you're gonna have to suffer for it a little bit.
Yeah.
It's almost like sometime ranged
weapons are important.
Alright, so, uh, in this case,
Reeb, you get, you have to go
first, because basically the only two people aware
at the start are you and these things.
Okay, I'm going to, uh,
can I free action a shout
of alarm? Oh, absolutely.
They're on to us!
Uh, really quick,
uh, so there's like five of the regular
ones, and then this one here,
uh, sort of, the closer one,
this one is clutching onto a
plasma gun, which is glowing.
No, absolutely not.
You will not have that. You will not be allowed
to have that. Uh, I'm going to move
and I'm going to shoot my flamer.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay, perfect.
Yeah, but you want to move
basically, I'm guessing, like, up to here
and then blast, blast down
the line here, and if you get
enough successes, shift it over so you hit the other
two. I will move
to here, but yes. Okay.
Uh, so let me
let me quick do a quick
burnination. Hey guys, can I take the rest of the
no, not the rest of it, I want to have one in case of
interruption purposes, so can I take two?
Sure. Do it. Kill him.
Kill him.
Kill!
Kill!
Uh,
whoosh!
Hang on, I think the counter also rolled really badly.
And for whatever
reason, whenever I put in bonus dice,
it doesn't roll it. Weird.
Uh,
uh, let me
just go ahead and wrath that
and roll two dice. Okay.
Because I didn't like those two dice, I guess.
Wrath of a four.
Two d6.
Yeah, I get a five in total.
Okay, so not enough to shift, sadly,
but you are going to hit a line of them.
Now, you were prioritizing, I assume,
the guy with the plasma.
Get rid of him. No, you're not allowed to have that.
Yeah, so you're, uh, with that,
you're going to get, let's see here,
a total of four, five, three.
You're going to get the plasma guy and the front guy.
They're just going to get immediately burnt
down from your flamer as you hose them.
Foosh for
eleven. Yeah, yeah, oh yeah.
They just, they go down immediately under that.
That, like, wash of fire.
Um, again,
since it's kind of like a surprise
round, they,
they get to take an action
and they just sort of, like,
form ranks and
you see them, their, their skin
is, like, bubbling and
these, like, eyes
form, not, like, out of their
skin, but almost, like, layered on
top and begin blinking. Their eyes
have this sort of reddish
fire that stare
into you, uh, into you.
Can you give me a resolve check real
quick here? Uh, difficulty is
going to be three for these, uh,
rape. Sure, give
me a moment to find that
again. I know,
I know, I know, I'm making you do all, all
these awful things.
I'll give you a one. Okay.
Because my results are pretty bad.
So, so yeah, you, you're definitely, like,
you, you're feeling pretty
afraid of these things. Uh,
like, you've burned down two of them, but
the remaining three seem to
be completely unfazed by the death
of their comrades, and they,
they stare and they,
they raise their, their
lasguns almost uniformly
with this, like, just eerie precision
while chanting,
we found, we found.
And they, uh, they, they shoot
you. You're gonna essentially take
a, um, a two, like, two
penalty any time you interact with
this specific unit here.
Until they die? If they, if they survive.
Yeah, exactly. Yeah, okay.
Um, we'll, we'll see if they last
that long. Uh, but they do all raise their lasguns,
uh, in, like, a uniform volley.
Shoot at you.
Uh, wow.
I rolled, I rolled four
with nothing. Yeah, I
rolled an eight, so they'll, they'll hit
you. Um, they will get
two, like, damage,
uh, bonus damage
die because they, they hit
you with the lasguns.
Uh, and, yeah.
Oh, but that was not
free resilience.
Uh, yeah. So, so you get, like,
peppered by shots.
Uh, that do hit you, but they are lasguns
and your armor is able to repel the worst of it.
Um, in fact,
like, even some of your fear has caused you to
recoil a bit so that you're, you're absorbing
the, the wounds. Okay, that
is the, the end of the quote-unquote
surprise round. Uh,
we come into, like, the regular
start of round. Who would like to go first?
Um,
to set the scene, Lorne, you're sort of on the
opposite end of this, this tram station
to the northwest. You, you've
seen these things. They've turned the corner.
Uh, you, you've heard the sounds of the
lasguns going off. Reeb
and, uh, sorry, um, Zedek
and Pybrain, you've heard, like, Reeb
shout and then turn to see the whoosh of the
flamer and the crackle of the lasguns
as these possessed crew, crewmen
have turned the corner.
I would, um, I would
recommend, uh, Hulky
to go.
So he can get in position
and start doing stuff. That's what I would
vote on.
I'm cool with Hulky going.
I mean, plan, plan.
Uh, you're also a skivved.
Oh, fuck, I made a mess.
I made a mess on the map.
You made a lie. Oh, Hulky's
out of Warhams. Get him out.
Tell me what you're gonna do and I'll, I'll tell you, like,
don't worry about, like, the, the ranges
or anything, because they're not correct. I'm,
just tell me what you want to do.
Uh, Captain Zedek's gonna move up with Reeb
and just kind of rebuff him and help
him out and take out these last three if he can.
Okay, so you're, like, basically
wanting to, to do, like,
a rush towards your pal and then sort of
assist? Yes. Yeah, okay.
Absolutely. So you, like, start rushing up.
Uh, you're about halfway to him.
I'm coming! Captain Zedek's just gonna
kind of run and shoot. Yeah, yeah.
Stop and shoot so he doesn't get a penalty.
Take a shot with your
arcbow pistol. Here we go.
Pew.
That's a five. Five successes.
Uh, that, that will, that will
hit. Alright.
Okay.
And four.
14 at AP minus one.
Yeah, you manage to crack off
expertly two shots as you advance
up, taking down two more of them.
Um, the, the bolts of
electricity flying out and striking
them in the chest as you move.
And they, they continue their, their mantra of
we found, we found.
And there's gargling as they
fall down. Uh, okay.
So that was you.
Um,
Lorne, my dear friend,
you start
hearing something coming from the Northwest.
We boarded, we boarded.
And there's like a chant of a large number of
voices coming down the hall to the, uh, the Northwest.
We boarded, we boarded.
I see.
Yes.
Uh, but it's not my turn.
It is not your turn.
You just hear this.
However, that is the turn of, of this, this, this new, new,
uh, challenger who is approaching.
Uh, all right.
Uh, players who would like to go next.
Hmm.
I, uh, I will go.
I'm going to run up, uh,
weaving between the columns.
Okay.
Uh, I'm going to try to get in range of this, uh,
terrible creature, take out my
plasma gun.
Okay.
And hopefully, well, I, it was
on overcharge, so I just de-overcharged.
Okay.
So you're like, I, I, I'm kind of a,
I'm assuming you're like zigzagging like this, and then you're sort of
coming over here to use this for cover, or do you want to be on this side?
Yeah, I would, I'm, I'm kind of looking to, uh, uh,
right about here because I'm, I'm, uh, trying to keep a lookout and I want
to make sure that we're all like in a good place for it and hopefully get
in close range enough to find my plasma gun.
Absolutely.
Yeah.
You are, you are in, you're not in like short range or anything, but you
are definitely in range.
Okay.
Okay.
Uh, so I do not often shoot guns.
Um, so this is an exploratory, uh, moment for me.
Uh, I have rapid fire, but I'm not in short range.
Could I get to short range if I'm out of cover?
Uh, no, no, no.
You would have to basically do a double move to, to get that close.
Oh, okay.
Cool.
What's our glory pool look like?
Uh, I'm going to spend two just, or I'll spend two just to make sure I hit.
Okay.
Uh, and.
Sorry, I just realized I, I'm sorry.
I keep doing five.
Many things in the background.
I'm like, fuck, so sorry.
No worries.
Uh, does two, uh, hit his defense?
Uh, two does not hit his defense.
And he's unfortunate.
Hi brain was not a very good skit.
Atari ranger.
He really should have been in the vanguard.
Yeah.
These, uh, these bolts, just like you send a bolt of, of plasma that
sears past this one and hits into the waste bin behind it and it sort of a.
Ignites with this, you know, blast of superheated energy.
Yeah.
And you know what?
I, I don't want this guy running around because we're undoubtedly about to get
reinforced.
I'll wrath it, even though it's just one guy.
Okay.
All right.
Do it.
Us.
Let's let it go.
We stand by the time now, the better.
Yeah, exactly.
Come on.
Reroll time rewinds and allows you to rewind as you see all of this happen.
And then you're like, nah, none of that.
I sense.
A dark future.
Yeah.
You, you, you like strike this thing, um, blasting it with, you know, superheated,
uh, like, but yeah, blasting it with, with superheated plasma.
It just goes bop.
Uh, and then, yeah, yeah.
That's a, that's a thing that happens and then it falls down quite a dead.
Um, however, as if in response to that, to the south.
West, you begin hearing the, we boarded, we boarded as like this droning comes through the hall.
We boarded, we boarded, we board.
So these, sorry, um, we boarded, we boarded and coming up behind you.
Captain Zedek.
You see a host of them crawling through the access tunnel there.
Uh, Lauren, you still have to go.
Hey, Lauren, you want to come back over here and then read, like, actually technically read as well.
Technically read this.
Oh, okay.
Yeah.
But who would like to go next?
Uh, yeah, cause it's like, Lauren, come back over here and then wait your turn.
So you can come back and do something.
Um, shit, I guess I will, they're going to be way out of range of my flamer.
I think you have a movement and a combat actions.
You can always move, take, move, take cover behind something.
So they don't shoot you later.
Yeah, I will use the, I will use the empty trash can as cover.
The issue is.
This is the flamers really short range or, and that's the main issue.
Yeah, it's, uh, yeah, I'm just trying to give suggestions.
Yeah, no, I get you.
Uh, do you think range 20 is somehow, hang on a sec.
Wait, no, it's not that short range because somehow it's got longer range than my last gun.
Go figure, whatever.
I'm going to burn them because they should be, yeah, they're well within range.
Yeah.
So your last gun, your last gun's short range is 12.
The, the max range on your flamer is 12.
Oh, okay.
However, your flamer is also a, um, assault weapon, which means you can sprint and still
fire it.
You just take a, uh, basically a two, two difficulty increase on it, on the to hit.
Um.
So you could sprint closer and be able to hit them.
I will, you know what?
I will redact my previous statement of getting behind cover.
I will sprint.
Where will that put me?
Okay.
So sprinting will basically move you like there.
Yeah.
I'm going to do my best.
Okay.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So you, you just turn around, rush and like raise your flamer.
Uh, so give me, yeah, give me a, give me a roll to hit on these.
Yeah.
I can't wait for this to suck.
Uh, I'm waiting.
I'm actually waiting for the complication where you've run out of ammo too.
Oh yeah.
We're playing this with like the famine skull turned on.
Yeah.
I love Halo 2.
Halo 2.
I'll give you a five instead with, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh,
yeah.
So you're going to rush up and just like wash them in flame.
Now a five is, is going to be enough to, to hit.
Um, and in, in a line, you're going to get three of them.
Now you can see in the sort of front ranks.
There's two of them.
There is one of them that has a, a chain sword and a, uh, blast pistol and one that has a,
um, a plasma gun.
Which one would you like to, to hit?
You can't hit both of them.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I'm really glad that you hit both of them.
Uh, when I'm able to hit both of them, if I use this new ref that chat has given me,
I mean, you could certainly do the reroll and like, if you get some extra, uh, if you
get, if you get an extra six on that.
Yeah, absolutely.
All right.
We'll find out, yeah.
Do it up.
Uh, we do.
Uh, yeah, so you, you just wash out the entire like front row of them.
I, this is a troop, so you don't even have to worry about damage.
Just hose them.
down with your flamer uh the the the six behind though they they seem to to have their their last
guns like at the ready and as as you rush into to or rush up to them and hose the front rank down
with your flamer uh from behind like the the wall of flames and that you create you just hear their
voices change from we boarded we to we found we found it is yes you found all right haven't you
gone hit me um but they don't get to go yet uh lauren you are the oh sorry no i ha lauren uh you
do start hearing more sounds of we boarded we boarded we boarded coming from the stairs uh to
your south
uh
west and you see another host emerging walking down the stairs in a slightly
uh tight formation uh what do you want to do lauren so
my lauren himself would have flown over and not really noticed the super huge danger his friends
but after hearing all of the we board boardeds i would highly suspect that these things are going
to keep going and i'm going to keep going and i'm going to keep going and i'm going to keep going
and not stop they've they've seemed to learn a grow they've come all directions and they're
coming everywhere so i assume this tram is going to be a way to escape so lauren i assume i arrived
already at the thing so i'm looking at the control panel i assume lauren will at least know how to
like press the button to make it arrive well as as you can see it looks like the true like the
the maglev train tram is already on the way like despite triggering the sort of alert um pie brain
managed to call it so it's coming okay so i don't care about this so so by by there you've confirmed
that it is coming uh and it looks like it is coming and will be uh docking essentially i'll
mark it um it gives you kind of a an indicator but it'll be docking in effectively this area
here that i'm going to highlight on the token layer uh right over here sort of south of you
there will be a yeah little square there that's where you can tell it's going to end up cool
okay so chat has screwed you in several ways oh perfect i love this and um and due to me missing
uh telling you on one of their roles it was a complication i would like to put forth that
complication to be an actual complication of some of these hordes is there possibly a ceiling that
is crumbling on top of the hordes of the hordes of the hordes of the hordes of the hordes of the
one of these uh tutors here um okay um that's a suggestion this is definitely yeah yeah yeah yeah
yeah i will i will stay that like there's there's nothing that would cause a collapse like the ship
is structurally sound um what i will say for that complication is that one of the one of the
remaining hordes has been
delayed.
Cool. Awesome.
Yes. That would have been the one
that would come out of this hole
to your immediate west.
Does my
cursory glance
see any environmental
assets that will help
deal with one of the hordes?
I mean, most of this
area is fairly open.
You know up to the sort of northwest
where the large one coming through the
primary corridor has
sort of these like electric message boards
so you might be able to like overload
it somehow and create some
kind of like jolts of energy
through that. The one
coming from the stairs also approaching sort of a
message board. All of the message boards, by the way,
are just replete with error
messages. You know,
data not found, data not found.
Those seem to be the
major environmental assets
here. Looks like, I mean, it's
kind of just like a subway
station in many ways. There's not a lot
of things to utilize here.
Yeah, so there's cover.
There's a lot of cover, but
yeah, so what I'm going to do
is with the north
northwest horde that's coming
towards this tram control
for those billboards that you
mentioned, I'm going to cast crush on them
because I know I'm not going to be able to hot wire them for
them to electrocute anything.
So I'm just going to cast crush on them
and just make them collapse
into a heap to hopefully block off that entrance.
Okay,
so I assume you're going to move out
and then crush?
Still not
that far out, but yeah.
Yeah, okay, okay, okay. I don't have to get all
the way out there.
I thought you were going to be a badass.
My apologies. Nah, I'll be a
coward. Let him go out
there and just get mulched.
Yeah, exactly. Yeah, yeah, sure, sure.
Give me a crush roll.
We'll say the defense of this
is like three. It's like, you know,
it's pretty easy to grab.
A nine will
absolutely do it.
So you're going to grab
one of these and sort of just tear
it down to create some difficult
terrain in the area?
Yes.
You're not going to be able to block
them off entirely, but basically what you do
is you cause this
board
to collapse over
so it's kind of like slanted on its side
so this entire area,
I'm marking here, they're going to have to
crawl underneath it or
scramble on top of it because
the message board you've ripped
off with your psychic might, it sparks
and falls at essentially
a 45 degree angle listing
on the other wall, so they have to
crawl under it or crawl over it
to get through that area
now. Excellent.
I had to use a move in that, so I'm done.
Okay, perfecto.
Perfecto.
That would be the end of,
our first round here.
Or sorry, first real round.
We come to our second round. Who would like to go?
I think we should start with Reeb.
Can I continue?
Yeah, that's a good idea.
I'll snag the glory after that, if you don't mind.
Maybe interrupt.
So Reeb, I assume you want to move up and
go Kadoosh?
If possible,
could I move to
here and get cover and also flame?
Yeah, absolutely.
I would like to, I have a feeling I'm going
to get stun buckled here
in a second, so.
Uh, okay.
Time to fire. Yeah.
I'll get a three-hit crit, which doesn't work because of Horde.
Uh, yeah.
Um, but you are going
to, okay, so yeah, you're gonna
do like a straight line.
I kind of assume it's this tactical, like
you back to the wall,
turn over, like send a
blast of fire straight
down in a line.
Uh, so yeah, you get this sort of like,
wash of fire that just
goes down like this and takes
this entire line of guys
out. Wait, does, wait,
I forgot, crits don't hit
us from Hordes, but do crits hit Hordes?
Uh, crits do
hit Hordes, um,
however, in this
case, it like, it's weird
because they, how they work
with flamers is, is like, you
can't really crit with them because it's
just area damage, so.
It's the one downside to, to a flamer
weapon. Also, are these guys not
exploding like their previous fellows?
Uh, these ones are,
but they, like, they seem to be, like,
blasting apart in sort of
etheric, you know, wisps.
Uh, but it's, it's definitely contained. You'd
have to be closer to them. I mean,
i.e. don't be in melee with them, kind
of thing. I mean, they're friends, more or less.
Yeah. Oh, no, cause
their explosion doesn't damage them.
Oh, yeah, we learned that last time.
Correct.
Come on now, come on,
I'm sure you don't mind coming a little
further. Okay, um,
I am going to
go unless someone would like to
I would like to interrupt!
Excellent, please mark
down that glory, alright. Absolutely.
Seeing, uh, that Lorne
is isolated and not with the group,
and understanding now that
there are more coming, uh,
and also understanding that my friends are very
cool and badass, I'm going to make a running
leap to the other column. Okay.
Oh, boy. Okay.
Uh, and I would like to, uh, try to
attack one of the oncoming
hordes.
Um. Okay.
Yeah. Uh, may I make
a suggestion to you? Uh, you may.
Um,
you're currently using a ranged weapon.
Yes. And being on
my side, does it benefit you as of yet?
Uh, no, but it lets me
draw a lasfire from you
to me, and I can take lasfire better.
Oh, I mean, I can lock fire
out of there.
Yeah, but the thing is going to be on this
side, so it makes sense for us to be here.
And you don't have time to combat
council, so what are you going to do? Yes, exactly!
I'm doing what I said I would do.
Alright. So you're going to
give me an athletics.
Jumping something like this is actually
like, you're making
a, like, pretty ridiculous jump.
Uh, I'm going to say it's
going to be difficulty six athletics to get across.
Go on, chariot of fire, you can do it.
I'll, uh, put two behind this.
Okay. Okay.
Uh, I'll put three behind this.
Alright, sure.
Can I make a narrative declaration
on his turn?
Oh god, uh, sure.
Okay, so there was a time
where Lorne, uh,
Pybreen was taking care of
Tater Tot or something, and we were teaching
Tater Tot how to do
graffiti on the walls to piss
off Captain Zedek.
Yeah, this is a very
important lesson, yes. Just, just
let's go for it.
And, uh, we, we put flaming
hot rod flame painting
on Speaker D's legs.
So for this... On my legs?
It, it makes, yeah, on your legs.
So it makes you faster.
So, obviously, you're going to have
an easier time making this jump.
So what you're
saying is, is that as,
as Pybreen does his running
jump to, to, like, bridge
the chasm here, uh, as his
cloak billows out from behind him,
we see the backs of his metallic
legs have, like, crudely
painted fire streaks on them.
Aww.
I accept this.
You may, you may, you may narratively declare
that, and, uh, I will give you
two bonus dice on this athletics
check as a result of cuteness.
Aww. Also orcologic.
Yes. How kind.
Let's go!
Nice job!
Oh.
So, you manage to,
to, like, bridge the gap and
leap across. Over the proverbial
reach! And, uh,
I'm gonna come over here, and,
uh, I'm going to... I can't see
these guys yet. I can only... No, you could
see them if you were down here, though. Like, if you
went, like... Oh, if I were here, I could see them? Yeah, yeah.
Yeah. Okay, yeah. If you, if you kind
of, like, hug the, the,
the southernmost edge of this pillar,
you jump across, go
back to the pillar, got your plasma gun, yeah.
Sure thing. Alright, in that case, we're
going to see it, see these guys coming in. I assume
there's a plasma guy, I assume there's a sergeant.
Uh, they are, but they are both conveniently
in the back where you can't see them.
How very convenient.
Yes. Um,
regardless, uh,
if I pump salvo...
So, is this, like, a mob, or are these, like,
eight... It's troops. It's, they're troops.
Okay. So, they're, they're a mob,
you can shoot them, and, like, overages
will spill over.
Okay, alright. But only, like, if I only got, like,
if I shot, and I did, like, six million
damage, it would just be one damage. Correct.
However, if you
shot, and, like, rolled
however many icons above their defense,
then
you would hit that many extra guys.
Oh, okay, interesting. Um,
I just want to check something for, like, exactly
two seconds. It's going to take me literally just, I need to
scroll down because I was just on the page number.
I want to be able to accurately convey what I am
trying to do. Alright. I'm going to
be using the spray shot, I believe. Or, uh,
spray shot versus mobs.
Would you allow me to do that?
Oh, okay, okay, okay, so
you want to do a spray shot. Yes.
Uh, uh, attack is successful,
hit an additional number of, uh, individuals
in the mob equal to 11 salvo value,
which is two. Yep, absolutely.
Uh, now, remember,
they have cover from you,
so their, their
defense goes up, and you are wounded,
so the difficulty goes up as well.
Okay, fair enough. So just remember that.
You are wounded, difficulty increases,
and they have cover. Okay,
sure thing. I am going to- Although you can't do a spray shot,
because it's a full round action, and you already
did a move. Uh, I could
do a normal spray shot. Uh,
yeah. We'd hit two.
Yeah, that's fine.
Mmm.
Ah, fair enough. I'll do that.
Um, so in that case, I'll
just reduce the, uh, difficulty by two,
so just a normal shot.
Um, I'll
pump one more
glory behind this.
Uh, just to make sure I hit this
time! Sure.
Let's go!
Four successes!
Yeah, you, uh, you managed to
strike one and take him out.
Excellent! And that should also get another.
Uh, no, you'll just strike
one with- Well, with a, with a normal spray shot,
it lets me target, um,
what is it? It's something like that.
It's, uh, it's like, basically it's a multi-attack,
but you increase the DN
by- Oh, I'm sorry, multi-
Oh, ah! Guns!
Hard! Sword! Greasy!
Yes, I'm actually being, being
generous, cause if you did that, you would've just missed, so.
Are you? Yes. Well,
cause it reduces the difficulty number by
the salvo, which, it would be just
plus two, but then minus two, so just be
a normal shot for the expenditure of
an ammo. Yes. Yes.
So, I will let you keep the ammo and
kill the guy. Alright, wait a minute, I'm taking
too long, someone do something else!
Alright. Good. Good.
Sorry about that, guys. Uh, so you interrupted,
so now I get to go. Ah.
In which... Yeah.
Uh, I am going to go...
with these three.
Who are going to advance down the hallway
up towards you, Reeb.
Double.
Uh, they actually just come
rushing at you. Brilliant.
They drop their lasguns
and come rushing at you
with their hands outstretched
shouting out,
We found, we found, we found!
I wrote to go to attack.
And...
I wrote to die.
I'm not out of these.
I mean,
who knows, right?
Uh, and yeah, they're, they're just
like, incensed as they
charge towards you.
Uh, okay.
That will hit me. So I will get
eight and a complication.
Cool.
Uh... As expected, that will
hit me, because... Yes. I don't, I don't,
I'm not Graco right now.
Uh, so look at you for... Uh, twelve.
Twelve at AP minus two.
Okay, so that'll put six
past. Uh... Two.
Get determination. And I roll three determination.
Yep.
I will succeed none of them.
So you'll take six wounds as they come
tearing into you.
Their claws, like, raising up
and down and just scoring
over your, your flesh
and going through your armor.
That's pretty bad,
but I'm not down yet.
I got two left. Um...
One sec. Okay. Um...
Oh, what, do they not run out
of ammo, Thurston? Yeah, that's what I'm
trying to figure out. They, they do not
run out of ammo.
Um... Still good, because I prefer
to take wounds than shock, because I
can't recover shock. Yeah.
Uh, so, so they've, they've, they've effectively
like, rushed up.
And... The complication
is that I'm
going to say, you've had your flamer
ready. Um...
If you want, I will let you basically
disengage from them for free.
So, like, basically,
you've had your flamer ready. They come, they
strike at you, but you're able to, to
get off a burst of your flamer to get out of
engagement with them. So that
you aren't, like, taking free strikes
from them. Yeah, I, I
I'd rather that be
like, he raises his boot and pushes back.
Yeah! Yeah, yeah,
okay, that, that's even better, yeah. Get back!
You could, like, push them back up against
the wall as, as, like, they've, they've
scored into you and dealt some...
pretty grievous wounds. Yeah, I believe
in that. Yeah, uh, who would like
to go next? Uh, I believe we have, uh,
Captain Zedek and Lorne
this round, who can still go.
Lorne should go, because, uh,
these morons over here have gone, so I think Lorne
should go. Oh, fair enough, yeah.
Lorne, do it.
Okay. Uh, I...
From all the way up here,
I'm going to cast Teleclinic Dolma
myself. Okay. Yeah.
Absolutely. And then
Wom.
I succeed,
and I will push...
I don't think I can boost. So you can
increase the range, because you can pump
it up by two, so you can increase the range.
Yeah, so I'll increase the range
by, you know, increase the range,
it could be near people, and then
I'm still, yeah, I'm still levitating.
Okay. So I'm immediately just gonna
go...
I can go Mach 7, because of the
speed boost that we've done.
Yep. And then go right next to
Pie. Okay, yeah, so you...
Fly up, the dome
is around you, you've kind of, like,
hunkered behind cover, so,
uh, just so you're aware, uh, Pie,
and this grants you plus two
resilience, and you can make
determination against mortal wounds
well, like this is in, so it's
pretty useful. Uh,
okay, so I am going
to go, uh, and
this, this one
at the staircase sort of, like,
bursts out.
Burst.
Burst.
I just want Pie to see
just a glowing orb in the
vast darkness of the hallways rapidly
approaching him in dangerous speeds.
Then it just goes
like, Pie.
Greetings, my dear dead Sonic friend.
Sonic.
Why, why are you dying?
It's a long story.
Oh, well. Is it longer than
my story? No. Because once upon a time,
I started telling him.
Stay the line, horde of
demons.
We found.
Um, and
they begin
unloading onto you,
Pie Brain.
That's rather rude. I know.
Um, realistically
though, I have to go like that, cause
he can't be there. Okay. Uh, so
we have seven of them that
are firing at you with lasguns, just
just, just, just
going straight to town here. We'll see
how this goes. Uh, they are just
firing madly
across the corner at you.
Uh, there's a lot of them. Just weight
of dice is coming at you. Pew, pew, pew, pew,
pew, pew, pew, pew.
That is a complication. Barely hit.
Yep. Uh, oh, that'll be a complication?
Yes.
Perfect, perfect, perfect. Their power cells
fall in as they come out shooting
wildly at you. Click, click, click,
click, click, and the entire troop's lasguns run
out of ammo. Um, what is your
defense right now, Pa?
Um, I am, uh,
ooh, my defense is actually, did it
get better? I just looked at my stat sheet
and I thought it was defense four, but it might be base defense
five. So, uh, in
cover, telekinetic dome.
Dome doesn't give you anything to your
defense. It's resilience. Oh!
Oh, oh, in that case, uh, then I
believe they're shifting two. Cause then it'd be, uh,
seven. Okay.
Yeah, so they,
they just, like, go
to town. Oh, no, they're shifting one.
Uh, you're seven?
Yeah, okay, yeah. Fair enough.
Cause you also don't get your parry against
this, cause it's- No, no, yeah, I'm, I'm
rolling. Oh, you're going to parry the lasers.
Yeah, no, I, hm.
Okay, re-evaluate my defense.
Bonus one. Might have been a little bombing myself.
Perfect. Uh,
only ten, so I think that- You're good.
Yeah, so one. No,
that'll do one to- actually, resilience.
Yeah, cause my resilience is up, so
I'm good! Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, what is
the- is the dome plus two? Plus two.
Yeah, nice, nice,
nice, yeah. So thanks to the telekinetic dome,
you, uh, you take
no damage from that. However,
the plasma
gun is going to fire now.
It's good, cause this one's gonna miss.
Good.
That one
complicates as well. Oh, that's
cool, that's cool. Can you mark me down
a rune point? Sure can.
I'm gonna
re-roll this. Okay.
Hold on a second.
A six?
Ah, still misses!
Uh, so he dies in a pile of sludge,
as even the dark gods
cannot allow for him. You punished him!
Yeah. Whoo!
Um, and then I
will fire a, uh,
friggin' las pistol at you two, cause
it's creepy. And that complicates.
Uh, the las pistol is out of ammo. I will
just mark this sad Zed unit as
being out of ammo now. How unfortunate.
That means they'll have to
go into close combat, oh no.
Uh, alright, Zedek, would you like to go?
I sure would.
Uh, Cam's next to him is sitting down
and realizing he's useless and playing cards with a corpse.
No, he's gonna move up to Reave and help him out.
Okay.
How are you going to help him out?
I'm gonna shoot him.
Uh, okay. Are you moving
up and shooting? Yes, yes.
Okay, so like, up to there and then shoot?
Okay, yeah. Cool, give me an attack roll.
Okay.
Three.
Uh, that will hit one of them.
I would like to re-roll that.
Absolutely, spend that wrath die, boss.
Bop. Bop.
Uh, yeah, you will hit, uh,
one, two, two more
of them. Uh, so you'll actually
with, with your arc pistol, you will come up and go
bang, bang, bang, bang.
And, uh, you will kill all three of them.
Okay.
Very good, Gifton. Thank you for the assistance.
Um, wait. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
And then they, they all explode, but no one's in
immediate range, so you're good.
Bleeding very badly.
Uh, this
how, uh, oh, and say, uh,
then this unit goes, they have
to spend their entire action basically
getting through the rubble here, so they aren't
contributing beyond just, like,
scrounging over the, the wrecked
thing that, uh, the
wrecked message board that Loren had torn down
with his psychic powers, so Loren had
sort of delayed that one for a round.
Um,
and then all of you, over
the sounds of, like, firefighting
and whatnot, all of you hear
something.
Uh, and only, only
Pi and
Loren can see
it. However,
uh, Pi and Loren, what you
see is something coming down
the, the tracks.
Not from the direction of the fore
of the ship, but from the direction
of the aft of the ship.
And what you see
is
some kind of swarm
filling the air
and this buzzing sound, like
some kind of wings,
and you just hear this, this mute
sound of
as perhaps
hundreds of
flying cherubs
enter in from the bottom
area here.
And, you know, I told
Reeve I never trusted those things,
but he, he's a big fan of mine.
So, right there.
Um, and with that,
uh, that is, uh,
oh, sorry, and...
Yeah,
that's, uh, that's our round right now.
Um, next round, who would like to go
first? Uh,
I feel like
I need to do something. Okay.
I'mma spend a wrath point real quick.
Okay, sure. If it's cool with a lot of
you, I feel like we're in the most danger.
Um, so
these guys are like, are some of these guys
like, uh, security personnel?
They're armsmen. Like, they're, they're
predominantly armsmen. Okay,
yeah, and a couple, when they die, they've been
exploding, so there's been an impetus, right?
Yeah. Uh, I'm gonna rule that
when the sergeant exploded,
that body happened to have a catch
of frag grenades on him that might have rolled my way.
Uh, can't
do that, the sergeant's still alive.
Uh, one of the
guns sludged. Other in,
well, when I kill him,
that happens. Okay.
Uh, I don't know.
I narratively declare he is a piñata. Yeah, yeah.
Can I narratively declare that he has frag
grenades on him that, if shot, might
explode?
Sure.
That's very nice of you, Thurston.
Very nice of you,
thank you. Thank you, my dad.
This sounds like bullshit, go for it.
I probably could have made this in a smarter
way, but I'm not that smart.
Uh, okay, let's get
that fucking guy, then.
You guys ever played RE Remake?
You know the one dangerous zombie?
I want
that. No. Yes. Okay, cool.
Two people know what I'm talking about.
I bet I don't. I'm taking my
gun!
I don't need this sword!
I don't need this! I'm gonna
kill you! Alright, I'm gonna spend
two glory on this, because this matters. And I'm
going to try to target this guy to hopefully
cause a chain reaction enough to get
us out of the immediate blast zone. Sure.
Here we go! Four
successes!
Not quite enough. I'll wrap
it! There you
go!
Thurston, if it's
any consolation, we are also throwing
every single thing that we are getting to try
and do this. Oh, I
understand. I understand.
That's fine. That's fine. If
this is how you want to play it, I'm game.
I'm game. Alright,
you murder him
with the increased defense.
You, like, line up your plasma
gun. You fire off a bolt. It streaks
past all of these as they're all staring
at you, saying, we found, we found,
we found. And then the bolt of plasma
actually, like, guts through
the front three, hits the guy,
explodes the grenades.
It is a chain reaction
as you wanted, like
murdering all but two of them who stand
sort of near the front, further away from the
explosion. The explosion
rocks the room and all of you sort of
hear it. Dust starts coming
off of the ceiling a little
bit here. Okay.
And in order to spare my
friend Lauren, can I still use a move action?
Mm-hmm. Okay. I'm just going
to move over here so that when they do get
into combat with me, the resulting explosion won't hurt
my friend. Okay, so you're
like, you fire and sort of like,
I assume, for cinematic sake, you
come out of cover, fire as you're
moving, and cool Skitarii
don't look at explosions and just get
cover. Exactly. Absolutely.
Okay, so my go...
Another group comes through this
hallway here that that previous
complication delayed.
That's my go. Who would like to go next?
Lauren? I think...
Lauren should go.
Lauren should move. I think Lauren should
get those two guys.
Wow, wow, okay.
I mean, like, why did you leave
me again? Because they were
going to charge in. If they charged in,
then you might have also been caught in the mortal
wood blast, and Lauren has skin like tissue
paper, so I was trying to draw them away in case
they acted.
Oh, okay.
Yes, I was doing a cool around second place
and it was cool. I'll come back to you.
Hello. No, no.
No!
No!
Okay, we'll do this. I'll hover.
Okay.
I don't know if those turbs are going to fucking kill us. Wait, the car's going to be there.
I want the car just, Lauren, to be like,
come get me, come get me, train.
Just...
You can't hear that shit.
That guy's just sludged
now.
It's a bad movie, excuse me.
Okay, what are you doing, Lauren?
That's a really good question, actually.
I've been sitting here thinking of what to do the entire
time, and there's no good solution
because everything's just frustrating.
It's like, what do I do?
If you crush them, right?
Because the thing is, is that
these guys are not going to really be
able to get very good shots off on us.
Well, because they have no guns.
They're out of ammo.
No, I mean these guys.
Because they're so far away, we've got cover.
We're
hopefully inured from their shooting.
And you've also got telekinetic
dome up on me.
Well, I have to be near you for that.
Be near me for that.
So, the thing
you objected to before, I'll come back.
Yes, that's a good idea.
And now I'll cast crush.
Yeah, now you can.
That's what I was originally going
to do, but you objected.
No, I didn't.
No, I didn't.
I thought they'd roll the crush.
Roll the crush.
I am smart.
I didn't know another horde
was going to come.
I didn't know another horde was going to come.
I thought these guys were going to charge.
You made this same mistake last session.
No, I didn't. I don't make mistakes.
In fact,
because you made this same mistake,
this is why you're currently at
two wounds.
You might actually think that's true,
but I don't really believe in that.
Roll the goddamn crush.
I love you guys.
I rolled a one and I complicated,
so I'm going to have to roll
one more.
I'll spend a wrath.
Yeah, you're going to use the wrath?
I got a nine, so I can get all of them.
Okay, but you still perils.
You don't even have to roll damage.
You're going to crush and psychically
reach out and pop these two
grapes. However,
please roll me 2d6.
We're just going to use the straight old table
for these because we're in super serious
mode. That is smooth.
41.
Okay, so 41 on
the Perils of the Warp Table.
Would you like me to read it?
Yeah, would you like to? Go ahead.
It is Banshee Scream.
A mighty roar akin to
a sonic boom crashes through the air.
Lesser animal life forms
25 meters or
instantly killed. All others
suffer 1d3 shock and must
make a successful
difficulty 3
toughness test or are staggered.
How far away are we?
Okay, here's
what's going to happen. So
first of all,
Pybrain takes 1d3
shock and has to
give me a toughness test.
Easy.
I hope. Please don't roll
a 3.
Okay, so you're staggered
as this
scream
goes over you. Also,
roll me a d3. That's how much shock you take.
Actually, I'll roll it because I'm a bad person.
And I will roll a 3
and feel good about myself. No, I'll roll a 1.
But you'll take 1 point of shock.
And then you
are staggered. And what
staggered means is your move
is reduced by half. Can't run or sprint.
As this happens, I want to
point out, so like, Loren, you
fly behind Py and like,
you reach over to do your
psychic crush.
Describe, like, how
you crush them. Like,
do you reach out with your hand? What do you do?
So, in pair with the psychic scream,
I'm really trying to
you know, really inspire Pybrain.
He's been really hurt.
He's made some mistakes.
His pride might be hurt a little bit.
So I really try to console him
by using his battlecry by
yelling for Lemuria.
But it's so fucking ear-piercingly
loud, it destroys his
like, audio receptors
in his head as I'm just casually
just hand-crushing and turn
them into little meatballs.
And so, as
you shout this,
I want to point out what everyone
uh, so, so, okay.
Reeb and Zedek, you turn
to hear this just ear-piercing scream. It's not
enough for you to take any damage. But you
turn in time to see this. And
what punctuates it is
emerging from the tunnel shaft
is this swarm
of, um, of cherubim
that emerge. But they get caught
in the scream. And I'm going to consider
that, like, cherubs are sort of like
rodents or small, small
uh, like creatures. And so
they are instantly slain by
this scream. So this
flying mass
of cherubim, hundreds
perhaps, fly in and
then they're just, their heads start
popping and blood. And they
start, like, skidding down and
landing on the tracks. And there's just
this sound as they're
rolling over. And you just hear this
as they're crashing everywhere.
Dead babies everywhere. Um,
okay. And that's Loren's go.
It's a Lemurian miracle!
I'm sure this is the opportune
time for a dead baby joke. But I'm just
not gonna fucking touch this.
This one, like, this unit, like, rushes
over to there. Uh,
but they have not, uh, they're not
shooting yet. Uh, who
would like to go next?
Um, I have a question.
Are all of the babies now dead?
Yes. Okay.
Uh, so in that case, there's no reason to set the babies
on fire with a flamethrower. Um,
just wanted to say that.
Thank you.
Nevertheless!
Captain, unless you wanna go immediately, Reeve,
I would like to go over to you and
help you not die.
Oh.
Trust me,
I am not a doctor.
I, I think I will,
I think I'd prefer to actually just heal myself.
No, no, no, no. You have much more important
things to worry about. Please, let me heal you.
I have two wounds. I do not
want, what is your, what is your, hey, hey,
hey, Hilkie, what's your Medicaid at?
My Medicaid is whatever I damn
well say it is. How about you tell me
what it is? You're being awesome.
Career ability.
Uh, it is
more than one. Okay.
That's not helpful. Tell me
it right now.
It's a prime number.
So the big problem with that
it's either Muria
which are both still worse than
mine.
Also, I wanna point out, I have a natural
Medicaid. I can move, shoot,
and then Medicaid myself. Yeah. Oh.
Charismatic.
He is. You can't argue with that.
Yeah, and Reeve is pragmatic
and he doesn't want whatever is covered
in his gloves into his
wound. It might be
nice if we had the good captain
spit out these words.
Captain, can you
possibly do that instead?
Reeve or Zedek, who's going?
Pick, please.
Captain Zedek will go.
Draw their fire.
He'll move up closer
to the tracks and try and pop
this horn that's
closest to the tram.
Okay, so I'm assuming you're gonna do a little
rush over to here and then
fire kind of diagonally towards?
Yeah. Yeah, cool, cool.
It's long range. It'll have a bit of a
higher difficulty, but go ahead. Give me a shot.
Okay, here it comes.
So what's a one?
Not with a one. Not with a one.
The good old Captain Zedek dice rolling.
Oh, yeah.
Let's wrap it. Let's go.
Imagine that could have been
your Medicaid check.
I know! And you would have had a memorable injury
and that would have made you so much
Actually, I don't know what it would
make you other than injured, honestly.
Green, perhaps.
Hit the reroll button.
Okay, can I? Yeah, let's just
do that.
A six. Six successes.
That will take out two of them.
The two at the far end. You'll snap
off two shots from behind cover
and drop two more of them.
Which explode in sort of like psychic wisps
as geist-like spirits come out of them
and get torn into the immaterium.
Yeah.
I would like to note, though, that six is
not a prime number.
We boarded.
Oh, fuck. We boarded.
We boarded. We boarded.
Reeb, you're up.
Reeb. Yeah?
Go. Here we go.
Yes. Sorry, I've got a
concussion.
I'll tell you what.
I'm going to...
So, let me ask you this, Thurston.
If I moved and then shot
and then followed it up with a Medicaid attempt
on myself, could that be done?
Yes. However, the only thing you
can really shoot at is too far away.
Even with a...
You would have to move up
to like here and then
you could shoot.
I can't shoot these.
They're all... Like, if you want to shoot them,
they're all dead. Like, all of the cherubs
have fallen, killed by the scream.
Oh, you're talking about
corpses. Okay.
Yeah. Those up there.
Better idea.
I'm not going to shoot anything.
I'm going to get in a cover over here
and heal myself. Yeah, absolutely.
We might behoove you to get closer
to the tram.
I don't think that's a good idea
given the cherubs. Keep in mind, though, well, the
cherubs are all dead, but keep in mind... Yeah, the cherubs are all dead.
We just had this
horde spawn in from where they were before.
The second horde spawned in from here.
Where you are.
Huh.
Yeah.
If I were to make a suggestion to you, the pillar
that was to your left before you moved
would probably be the better place to be right now.
I will go there instead. I will narratively declare
that I do not do that and go here instead.
Okay. Yeah.
And now I will heal myself
because I... Medicaid. Yeah. Yeah.
Anything. Cool.
No, that's not Medicaid.
That's scalpel.
Okay.
I'll get
12 and a complication. Cool.
Because the complication is making me
extremely angry, I'm going to actually
wrath that. Okay.
Can you wrath a complication? It'll still
keep the complication. I know. I just want to
make sure that whatever I heal
is well in excess of
whatever the... So if you wrath it, you're
only going to get one extra, like, roll.
Oh, yeah. Because everything else
gets... Never mind. I'll just take
the four. Okay. So you'll get
three and then you shift
exalts. So you're
actually... Yeah. You're going to get five
back. Five back? Oh, yeah. Because
four shifts and then your
regular one that you restore.
I deft Medicaid
skill stitch up every wound except for one
that is grazed across my face.
Good. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
And then for the complication...
Yeah. I stitch my hand in.
to my chest.
We'll just use a good old classic
here.
Oh, nice.
The optional regular
complications that we're using. Physical
mishap. You're clumsy or tongue-tied.
You do or say something you didn't mean to, causing
a problem.
Causing a problem? What the hell would happen
here with that?
I assume that...
Oh, here's what's happening.
You're trying to get all of this and you
drop your flamer.
I don't have time for this.
All right. Cool.
That's that. That's that. And then
I've got that.
Oh, yeah. And...
I call Zedek fat.
No, I'm not
doing that. For what purpose?
To hurt him, it seems.
There we go. That's the faux
paw. It's like, I can't believe Zedek's fat
has got me into this trouble.
Wow! Damn!
All right. Another
unit of these horrifying things appears.
At this point, all of you hear
the whistle of a tram.
And then we start the next round
of combat. Who would like to go first?
That's a really good
question. We are directly in the firing
line of the bad guys.
Correct. I don't like
that.
Do I have anything
that's good into groups? Not really,
except side of my sword.
But, Speaker, what if you weren't?
What if you just shift again
to here? Then
they would obliterate Lauren.
I mean, don't worry
about me. Go forth
and do what you can, because I'm
about to adjust some things to make
sure I'm tanky. Yeah.
I'm not honestly super
worried. I just want to be able to get to this
fucking car. So what I'll do
is I'll move a bit back over here.
And I'm going to
peeking a little bit out from the side,
I will make a
multi-attack
onto the sergeant
and to the plasma guy who are on the
open.
Sure. Okay.
Yeah.
We'll make it a salvo one, so it's just a
normal.
No DC, so we'll salvo it.
Okay.
There's no need to multi-attack. I'll just fucking hit the
plasma guy. What the fuck am I saying? I'm insane.
Okay. Yes. Okay, I spent two
glory and there's a guy.
Here we go. Wish me luck.
Ah!
Four and a crit.
Crit.
Plasma guy
technically doesn't have
cover, so you're good on that. He does have an
increased defense
because
you're wounded, but that will just
hit, so. Yes.
And
yeah, roll me 2d6
and we'll see what your terrifying crit is on
him. Yes.
Give me audio.
Thirty-five. Fifty-three.
Fifty-three
is overpowering assault.
Yeah, you just send
the foe lurching away.
Its sense is blurred, but it doesn't matter
because it quite just dies as it's
sent flying back into the cogitator panel
behind its fellow mates there.
Did I break it? No.
Aww.
I wanted to. We respect technology.
Well, yeah, but this is all evil ones.
These are all...
Would anyone like to... Who would like to go next?
I think it should be
Lorne. I can go next.
Well, if you're interrupting, I should clarify.
Yeah. If anyone wants to interrupt.
Does anyone else have any other plans they want to do first?
Or... I would prefer that Lorne
interrupts so he doesn't explode.
I agree. Yes. Okay.
Then I will spend the thing to interrupt.
Thank you for the glory. Okay.
I will hide behind
the pillar. Yep.
And, uh...
I'm having a huge debate on whether to
do this or not, because I can...
Okay, so to explain the idea
so people can have input if it's okay.
Sure. I can do
shape flesh, which literally will give me plus four
resilience on top of my telekinetic dome.
Which I would give six, seven, eight,
nine, ten, eleven, twelve.
So, it's going to be very hard
for them to damage me.
Or...
I could keep just what I'm doing.
And just peek around and just keep crushing.
Because I have levitate,
and I go at Mach 7 currently.
And as soon as the tram shows up
I go
I think, um...
I think more crushes isn't a bad idea.
Okay.
Because, um...
I wish I had...
I should fucking ban
Wall of Flame.
We banned that shit that started
this entire project, and now I'm sitting here
going, this son of a bitch knew it.
How's it going, buddy?
How you doing this time, brother?
Fuck you, Thurston.
Fuck you.
Big number.
Yep. I'm going to cast Crush based on the squad
that Pybering shot at.
Yep. Totally.
It's at the far extreme edge of your
range, but sure.
I have six.
Yeah, so you can crush
and kill three of them.
Excellent. I do so.
As you just, like,
ring them out and hurl
them around, kind of
Darth Vader-y style.
Yeah, it's like
Force Token kind of deal.
Yeah, exactly.
And then there's, like, cracking, and they all sort of
continue to explode, and this, like,
we found, we found, and then from over here
you're just hearing, you know,
we boarded, we boarded. Okay, uh,
I will go then, um, and...
Unit moves up to here.
Hey, Halky.
Oh, hi, what's up?
Oh, dear.
You turn in time to see
another group that has advanced.
One of them at the fore raises
a plasma gun and takes a
takes a shot at you, Captain
Maskadelche.
I, uh, gonna spend
a rune dice.
Okay.
Are you? Oh, god.
Did that hit you
still? Do you have four? What's your defense?
My defense is two, so it does hit me. Oh, sweet.
So it does hit you. I like that. I like that.
I didn't roll a single thing to shift, but
he's going, this one, like, turns the corner
and sees you, uh, Captain Zedek,
and you just hear this, like,
we, we found, we found, and it's
firing the, the, um,
the plasma gun, but as it's firing,
its own, like, hands are
melting, cause it's continually pressing
the button and overheating it,
so he dies a terrible death, but he does
hit you with a blast of superheated plasma!
Uh-oh.
Ah! Ouch.
Uh, for seventeen
at AP, uh, minus three.
Oh! Well,
that's really bad, actually.
I think that puts him well over.
Uh, it very well could,
so AP minus three, you'll get five
off of that, so you'll take twelve
damage, um, but you do get
determination. I would love
to roll determination to not die. Absolutely.
Here.
Oh, it's a one.
Would you like to spend a
wrath? Anything that keeps
me alive. Sure.
Or glory, even, if you want to throw some
glory at it. That might be a good idea. Can I spend some glory
so I don't turn into mush?
That's a good idea. Yeah, roll the glory first.
Roll the, how much, how much glory
do you want to spend here? Can I use it all?
Yes. Sure. Absolutely.
Okay, so, and then
you can spend a wrath to basically
roll 3d6 to, to see what else
you get. You're sitting at four successes.
So far. Six successes,
so you'll take six shock,
which I think exhausts you, but you'll reduce
the damage that you take,
uh, by six, which I think I
only did six damage to you, so you'll just
take six. Oh, god.
And then be, be heavily,
actually, was it six? How much was it? No, you
did twelve. Twelve, that's right.
So you'll still take six, so you'll be at zero shock
and one wound. That's fine.
As a
small stun strikes
you.
I, to remind
everyone, death is enabled.
Death mode is enabled.
That was their go. Who'd like to go next?
I go now, please. Help me.
I'm the last one.
You are? I'm leaking.
Oh, wait, no, Zedek still hasn't, Zedek,
would you like to go?
I'd love to go. No, I'm
gonna go.
Maybe you should get next to him, flame
the crowd, and then heal Zedek of his
health. I would love to, I would love to
flame Zedek.
You already did, last turn.
Devote your life to the
dark gods. Oh, shit.
So my flasher's dropped, isn't it?
So here's what you
can do. Here's what you can do.
You can multi-action to
pick up the flamer,
then take your move, then
unnatural medik-k, then fire.
The unnatural medik-k
allows you, I think,
to... It lets me
normal negative modifiers.
Yeah, so you just take the minus
two to fire, I believe.
Yeah, I would like to put the medik-k
at the end, because that would be
where it would go with that. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
absolutely. Pick up,
move, fire medik-k,
ideally. The difficulty,
basically, their
quote-unquote
defense is gonna go up
by two for the multi-action
of pick up and moving.
You're good. You can roll the attack.
Here we go.
I hope you guys are ready, because my ballistic is fine,
but not...
not that good.
I need to
wrath that. Yeah, yeah, I don't think you have any
glory either, so...
Wrath it! I get a five.
Ooh! Okay, so you're gonna get a
line of them, and
then...
you're ju... Yeah, you're
just gonna get a line of them. Yeah, I wanna get
the... Plasmo's already dead, so I don't care about
him. I wanna get rid of the...
these goons. Yeah, so...
woosh, straight through them. Okay,
and now...
takes a quick second, and then turns
on bullet time, and proceeds to
uh... To heal.
Yeah, give me the medik-k, Jack.
Uh, that's crap. I'm
going to use my last wrath.
Absolutely.
Here, take it. Holy
damn! Glory!
Uh, so I think that
tops up our glory now, too, because we got a bunch...
Thanks, Jack. Uh, also ten,
so that's going to be one, two,
three, four, five wounds back to Captain
Zedek. Thank you!
Rapid stitching.
There! That is
most definitely unnatural.
Don't question it! Shoot them!
Okay!
Uh, Captain Zedek will...
Are you... I'm sorry, are you finished
with your turn, Erndil? Uh, yeah,
that's about all I can do, I think, right?
Uh, right? Yeah, that's...
I've done liter... I think... Are you going to seize?
Sorry, are you going to seize Captain Zedek?
Yeah. I would like to seize. Okay, then
I'll move this giant horde that I was super
excited to do something with back. Okay, you may
go.
Uh, I'm
going to retroactively use Gallows
Humor and tell Reed that that is
most definitely an unnatural medik-k
if I've ever seen one, and we're going to
heal some shock. Fair.
Uh, I'm going to do a fellowship.
I've only done this once. Oh, Gallows Humor.
God, I wish the trait that I took
was, uh, useful in
this situation. I got a...
four successes.
So it's
icons plus rank.
Yeah.
Uh, that's good. So you have
four icons.
Ranked to be six
shock. I'm sorry, no, it's going to be seven shock
to the party, as well as myself.
Oh, good thing I didn't lose any shock.
Uh, does that
work for them over there?
Everybody in the party gets it. Yay!
All allies, in fact.
I'm pretty healthy, so...
And I'm going to shoot them, because I'm mad.
Yeah, because I assume you're
just shouting it over everything, so yeah, totally.
So yeah, you all get seven shock back. Very nice.
Nice, I didn't lose any.
Certainly wish I did right about now.
I lost one. You know, if you carry
a battery around with you, I'm sure you can store the excess
shock. I'm going to shove a bottle up your ass.
Uh, are you moving at all?
No.
Okay.
I don't want to die again.
I'm right here.
You can't shoot through me.
Well, the thing is that you're going to be exposed
to those individuals. Oh, fuck,
you're right.
Alright, well, moving up.
Better hope you get them, buddy. Okay.
I'm going to shoot them. Yeah.
Mr. Multi-Action?
Uh, well, no, they're going to...
Were you going to shoot?
You wouldn't have been able to shoot them, because
they were behind this fucking giant wall, so...
Yeah, yeah, they haven't... Sorry, I thought you were
done with the gallows humor. So you gallows humor,
then you're moving, then what?
Shoot the mob in front of us.
Okay.
Lighten the load.
Now, just remember, in the future,
it's cool now, yeah, so you'll hit one, kill one.
No, he did say he was going to shoot.
Okay. Oh, he did, yeah.
Okay, thanks. Ignore me, then. I am bad.
Um, because technically...
Technically, the difficulty
on the gallows check would have gone up.
Not by two, but whatever. It's all good.
Uh, cool. So, bang!
Pops one, comes around the corner.
At that exact time, this group
comes over to here.
And then...
doubles up to there.
Who would like to go next?
Or have you all... You've all gone, haven't you?
We've all gone.
Sweet. So now it's all up to your guys!
Thurston!
Yeah.
Fair.
Uh, and as that happens,
we have the Maglev
car come screaming
in at supersonic speeds.
The sound of, like,
hurled, uh, homunculi
cherub flesh washed and
pushed around as the car
comes into the area.
So, there is now...
a car.
A vehicle.
There are doors, which I am going to
mark really quick.
Um, just after I do this.
Just so you can get a sense.
There we go, there we go.
You should have put a Ferrari on there.
I should have.
Uh, and then there is a door there.
And a door there.
Alright!
Top of the next round, real quick.
Alright. I think,
Loren,
we gotta go.
So, I'm gonna do something.
I know you can levitate. I'm gonna grab...
I've been running away from you.
I... Uh-huh.
...gonna grab onto your back
and ride you. You're going to give me
a piggyback.
My arms are
extended like a plane, ready for
takeoff. Use your strength score,
Loren.
Why do you have to ask such...
Why do you have to ask questions that hurt me?
I wanna, I wanna rewind
a little bit, chat, to when Loren was
like, oh yeah, it doesn't matter what my
carrying capacity is.
I know it. I know it.
I know it, because as soon as I saw this
stupid fucking chasm,
I immediately thought back to that, immediately gone,
hmm, I'm gonna have to carry somebody at some point.
It rewards me when choices matter.
Well, what I can do,
what I can do
to kinda help with this,
but it will prevent me from doing any offensive
offensive actions,
Yes.
is that, cause I'm planning to do
something really stupid.
Oh, beautiful. To really help me survive this.
So, depending on the psychic
power I, particularly Peril's
on, it may help us.
But it's not my turn. Oh, I fucking,
I, I think I know exactly what you're
What are you gonna do? Okay.
I mean, it's like,
I don't have anything super exploding or
whatever, but I have multiple things gonna stack.
Yeah, you, you're spending
your, your action to assume the piggyback.
Okay. I will assume the piggyback.
Okay, you're delaying your action.
I guess. Uh, yeah, I could
delay my action. I was planning on actually
What I was gonna probably do,
I'll tell you what I was gonna do, and you tell me this is dumb.
Okay? Okay. If this is necessary, cause
I don't know what you're planning. I was
going to use that action, well, use your shoulder
as a firing rest, and then
um, spend my salvo to
multi-shot, get these two guys out of the way,
and let us just zoom into this
fucking car.
Okay, so I, I have a
question to ask you. Yes.
What happens after?
When they can get into the car.
Exactly. Which is why I
don't think it's a very good idea.
And why I was trying to talk you out of it.
Now here's what we should do instead.
Why don't you just zoom me in through this way,
and then I'll use my tech interact to close
this door.
Okay, so, uh,
Thurston, are the tram doors currently
open? Yes.
Why'd you have to do this to me?
Because I love you.
Like a brother. No, you don't.
Alright. I do.
Which complicates things. I was going to suggest
I'll just fly us over to the other side,
and then if the tram doors are closed,
I'll just, we'll figure out
a way to get in the other side.
So this is a,
this is a conundrum.
Because we have a swarm,
and Molten Beam
can only do so well if I did have it.
Correct.
Which is why,
fucking I wish I had
all the flame.
So, I'm sorry,
is this door not open?
They're both open. Yeah, we could just fly around
and get in here, right?
But they can still
do the same thing. But then he could, basically what he's saying
is he can delay his action, you could fly
around, go inside, then he can run and close the door.
Yeah. Yeah, okay, yeah,
we can definitely do that. Okay.
So Lauren is going to go first, then.
Oh yes, so I'll go first.
Okay. So, multiple
things are going to happen.
And this is going to determine
if we die a horrible death or not.
Oh, I'm, I'm excited.
I'm excited. So here's the plan.
I can recast,
because I have a strength of one,
by the way. So, I ain't
carrying you.
That's right. So, the
issue is that
levitation
would have to,
I would have to drop levitation
and possibly do shape float.
And if we want to do
some fun things here, I can do
shape float to give me wings, so
that I may fly, but also
cast it again to possibly be
all like, hey, game
master, can I naively declare that this gives
me increased strength to swole
warm it up? You wouldn't have to drop
the shape, like you
wouldn't have to drop the levitation. Remember,
you can sustain as many powers as
you want. Oh, I know, I know.
The difficulty just goes up.
I'm also going by game logic, because
I've sustained it for a while. I don't know if it's
been there yet. No, no, no, you can
keep sustaining levitation.
You have the dome and the levitation that are
sustained. And you have a
talent that lets you do this and not really
suffer bad effects. However,
if you add another one on, now
the difficulty is going up. Yeah.
So, here, let's do
this. So, you could do shape flesh and
then move, keep your speed.
I would let you say you want to shape flesh
to give yourself a bit of bulk to
grab high brain
and fly around. That's cool.
The difficulty for shape flesh is going to be eight
though, to do that.
Um, I have a question.
Yes. Instead of doing
that, Loren, why don't you just crush,
kill these two, and then just walk in?
No, the other one sounds cooler. I cast
shape flesh. Okay, cool.
Beautiful.
Do it up.
I have eight exactly.
Okay, so you like, you
turn into the friggin' flying hulk here.
I swole
Loren. Yeah, I was just-
I swole Loren, just JoJo
theme up here in front of
like, just as a shadow
looms over him, I
extend my, I extend my bulky arms
out and go, go with me if you want to
leave.
Yeah, like,
and suddenly buff Loren.
You son of a-
Grabbed, flies around.
And I grab him,
and I pick up
Pie gingerly into my arms
and I say, you swole come with me.
He's like, we swole go
in the sea of our flins.
And I turn to follow him, turn to victory!
And then we'll eventually, we'll just levitate
Superman-like, just
drop him off
and I will yell at him, close the door!
Close the door!
Idly tugging at his beard.
Well, this form gives you a weird- Oh, yeah,
that, right! I'm going to
interrupt if I can.
Yeah, mark me down a rune point, please.
I figured you might- There it is.
And because this is the, like,
I don't know, let's hurt Captain Zedek show,
I'm just going to have these five up here
go into a firing line and shoot at Captain Zedek.
The smart thing would be to do
the tram, but I just like hurting you.
Absolutely.
I always knew Zedek would go down in the firing line,
but I didn't imagine it would not be his own crew.
As they fire at Captain Zedek,
they do complicate.
Excellent. They're going to run out of ammo.
Holy butts.
Wow. Sweet.
Look at how great
this damage is going to be.
It's going to be nine damage, Captain Zedek.
Take that.
Wow. I'm going to take that damage.
That's right. Would you Determination that?
Yes. Here we go.
Good. Take some shock.
Three.
Okay, cool. So that's done.
Then you go, I assume you're coming here and slamming
this door shut, correct? As a matter of fact, yes.
I'm going to tech check and, uh, yes.
Ka-talk. It is shut.
Um.
And then technically I get to go.
Um. This group starts
pounding on the doors. You hear this
We found.
We found.
Um. Who would like
to go next? Reeb or Cap-
Reeb or Zedek? Are you
basically now just both going to, like,
run and get in here?
I would like to not be shot on the way over,
so I'm going to attempt to flame them.
Oh yeah, okay. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Fire and then move?
Yeah, absolutely. And I'm going to do that.
Uh.
I will fire my fire.
Do your fire. Gun.
Gun of fire.
He's going to do the firing gun.
Fire.
Hook of flame.
Fire is a froth.
Oh, there we go.
You'll take out two of them.
And then I assume you're just basically, like, hopping
down and getting to the door there?
Uh.
Yeah. Okay.
Here's what's going to happen. So we save a bunch of time.
Zedek, I assume you're going to do a similar thing.
You're going to shoot and then run?
Correct.
Okay. You can roll your attack roll as you shoot.
Boom. Four. And a compliment.
You're going to run out of ammo
again for your arc pistol as you shoot wildly,
but you are going to take down
two more of these. Then you are going to get
here. All of these
possessed crew members are going to
start bashing on the side of the tram.
This horrific, like, wall.
Swolorn is going
to come, I assume, and lift both of you
up with one arm each.
Well, I'm guessing,
Pybrain, you're going to activate
the tram. I'm going to activate. Look
out the window. Look at the sergeant
that's pounding on the window here.
I'm going to say, Sorry, buddy!
We boarded!
And with that,
let's take a quick break
because we haven't actually had a break yet.
Oh my god!
45 minutes.
Pybrain earns that gold star.
Fucking hell. Get a hero
point. Oh wait, the wrong game. Okay.
Be back
in just a bit.
See you in a bit, dear fellas.
And we're back.
Welcome back, everybody, to Warhams.
Now, where were
we last, Thurston?
You have all managed to
get into the tram
of the sub-spinal
maglev system
for the carillon, making your way
towards the fore of the ship.
As you do so,
you all have a moment to breathe
as the tram makes
its way towards the front. The doors
have closed, the beating of those
horrific, possessed crew
members has stopped, and you all
have a moment to
collect yourselves.
He's not collecting himself, he's going
to heal the most wounded person here, which
is... who?
I think technically
Pybrain. Yeah, but
you can't heal Py yet.
I am banned from being healed.
Yeah.
Did you medicate him?
Yeah, last session. It's still within
the timeframe. He can't do it yet.
Yeah, not to Py, but...
And same with Zedek. Both Zedek and Py
have been...
And yourself.
Lauren, would you like to be medicated?
You look very ripped right now.
No, I'm...
I deflate, turn off all the other
psychic powers, and say,
nope, I'm fine.
Okay.
There's just the hum as the
tram is going through. You can tell
that this... there's no, like, branching
stations or anything. This is just a
straight tunnel.
Wow. There's the sort of, like,
glowing console at the front.
Pybrain,
you can tell that
there is another
log entry that has
been saved to this one.
Guys, wanna hear how the
bad thing that the church person
said? Yes, just play
the damn thing. Okay.
Number five!
Very well.
Church here.
I ran into Second Lieutenant Arnold,
leading some of the armsmen back to the
Ingenarium.
No shame in admitting it. I fucking
hid behind some wall panels as they ran past.
Arnold
was shouting something about
taking control after the emergency
retranslation, and
not crashing into Fimbria III.
I don't fucking get it.
He already translated
in system. So
what emergency retranslation are they talking
about? Anyways,
I'm going to the Strigium.
It has to be safe.
Well, with any luck, we'll find her there.
We're gonna crash
into Fimbria III?
Hmm.
I don't understand the logic
of these demon creatures.
I
don't need to tell you this, Pi, but
having a demon-possessed ship
crash into a planet
that is otherwise not prepared for such an event
could be catastrophic.
Hmm.
Yeah, but...
You can give me a scholar check if you got it.
Me or him?
Both of you. Sure.
Okay, I will skill you.
Yes. Skill duel!
I'll give you a three,
and I will not be upgunned,
or, you know, upstarted, so I will
wrap that to a six. Aw, Pi almost
looked smart for a second.
You are smart! You just can't be smarter
than me!
I'm trying to
Yes, both of you
are smart asses.
Wow.
Alright,
so both of you
have studied
a bit of the Fimbria system.
Uh, on your way here.
You do remember that Fimbria
3 is an ice world.
Um, that's
has, like, it's almost entirely
frozen water. It's almost twice the size
of a Terra standard planet.
However,
you've found the Carillon
well past
like, Fimbria 3.
It's close to, it's between
Fimbria 2 and Fimbria Majoris
at this point. So,
like,
when this happened, it would have had to have been a while
ago, and it's been drifting since.
Huh.
Um, Reeb, you would also
note that
it would be, it would be strange
for them to have
emerged here after anything
related to warp travel,
because generally, in order to keep ships safe,
they go to the system mandible
point, i.e., like, the outer
extremities of a solar system, in
order to enter the warp, because doing
so inside solar systems is often very
dangerous.
Seems to me like
someone may have had
an effect on their
flight plan, so to speak.
Hmm. Possibly
an internal resistance.
But it seems as though the resistance
was rather
ferociously squashed.
Not surprising.
Nothing is really
normal
in the place as we go, it seems.
I've sort of come to realize that. It's very
interesting. Haven't had a chance to cut
anything particularly interesting open
yet, though, that hasn't been
laced with chaotic energies.
Hmm. I know what you mean.
Nothing normal around but us.
That's putting it lightly.
Bram, Doc,
and the tram stops, and there is this
pneumatic hiss as the door opens,
and sort of this, uh,
like, temperate air comes back
into the cabin.
Wow.
Here we go, gentlemen.
Forward! Forward! And, well,
wherever you're from, honestly.
You walk out. There are lumens here.
The strips on the wall
seem to be not, um,
vibrant, but it looks like whatever
backup illumination systems are here are running
fine. Um, you can see
right ahead there's a set of
stairs that go
up and around.
Which, you go up
and you find yourself going up multiple landings
of stairs.
These ones have sort of a stone finish
to them. Along the walls
here, you can see that they are
inscribed with
holy ecclesiarchal
mantras praising the Emperor.
How fresh are these?
Uh, like,
it looks like whenever the ship was
made, these were inlaid into the
Oh, okay, I'm sorry. I thought you meant, like, someone
had written on the side. No, no, no, they're, like,
inlaid, like, they've been, like, etched
in as part of the construction.
This is an ecclesiarchal ship.
Hold on a moment.
Something you see, Poe?
Wait, wait a moment. Perhaps, have I
misunderstood something?
This was, uh,
de Fuckerby's flagship, yes?
No.
Ah. This was a ship
de Fuckerby got
transit on, which
belongs to the Missionarius
Galaxia, which is basically
preachers at the edge of the
Imperium. Hmm.
Okay, so this couldn't
have happened that long ago.
Maybe there are still survivors.
Don't let us go forth in check,
Pi. The issue
with
the issue
with things of this name
and nature is that seeds of rebellion,
no matter what their origin,
spread extremely fast
or extremely slow.
Let's just be
cautious as we go forward,
because we don't know
exactly
how converted this entire place
is.
When in doubt, I will
defer to your judgment.
He just walks forward, and I'm just walking
a direction forward where I think it's the most natural
way to get to the helm of the bridge or something else.
Yep, yep, yep.
Yeah, you continue walking
ahead, and as you do so, you
can, like, hear your footsteps
echoing down the halls
as the stairways end, and
you find yourself in sort of a dull
blue steel-ish
corridor.
There appears to be one section
that is all
plasteel,
sort of this translucent
or, sorry, glasteel.
This translucent glass that you can look through
to see a large chamber.
Reeb, you immediately
can identify it as a Medicaid
ward.
Oh!
Lucky ass.
I think, anyway.
Will you be able to repair my internal
damages?
Possibly.
I need to see what's in store for us here.
So,
can we approach it
or is there anything interceding?
No, so it's basically a
plasteel wall, and then there's a set of, like,
plasteel double doors that, again, you can see
through all of this.
And the double doors appear
to be unlocked. It looks like you just
have to hit a command on the adjacent
terminal, and with that, they open.
I believe
this would be an excellent time for us to recuperate
somewhat, provided these area is
clear. Could you please
open the door for us?
Mm-hmm. I will
hit the door open button.
Yep.
Door opens up. There's
sort of this, like, grinding sound
of gears as both
doors pull back to open up.
There's this cool, almost
like,
this cool air
with a bit of analgesic mist
in it that hits all of you.
Kind of like, almost like a weird
minty taste as well
as you walk in. This place is
incredibly, incredibly clean.
All of the surfaces. There are various
desks, beds.
Along the back wall, you can see
there are shelving units stacked with goods.
There appears to be some
sort of case in the far
end of the room.
Like, roughly the
size of an augren.
A large sort of
shelf case that's closed.
Mm-hmm.
Riebel, take a deep
breath.
Ah.
Medical
sterility.
Nothing like it.
Right. Well.
Let's take a quick look around,
gentlemen, before we set about to
replenishing medical stocks.
Shall we? Yeah.
I'm looking for the
giant-looking
save point and or typewriter
in the room.
Uh, yeah. The Resident Evil 2
save room music begins
playing. Yeah. Better than dead
space, like, you know, computer terminal.
Somewhere on the wall. Yeah, exactly.
And you know
for a fact, Mr.
X will not walk into this room.
He will come up to that door
and stand there, but he will not walk
in here.
I at least
actually try to find, like, a legit terminal around.
Yeah.
There appear to be various
Medicaid terminals
here. All of them
seem to just deal with basic
crew information.
Some of them seem to have
locks on them, but they all seem to be
general use cogitators.
Um, as I
soon re-implied, everybody else is going around.
At least try to access any of it.
And try to see if I can see
any medical records of, like,
recent appointments in what people have
dealt with with past people. Like, say
if, like, oh, this person
you know, came in with, like, a weird
mutation on him and
like, any story I can glean from that.
Yeah,
yeah, yeah. Uh, what kind of skill
check would you like to give me for your research
here?
Good question.
I'm tired of this
psychic mastery.
I'll psychically press the button
to do the correct thing
and I guess to...
fuck.
It's like, what, I keep
immediately I keep looking through my skills going
what can I bullshit
and get away with? But I'll just
do a scholar, which I only have two, and I
get nothing. So I find nothing. I can't read.
No, you
you're able to get through.
All you're finding in the data is very common.
Like, you know,
Krumen Zandarius came in
reporting a cough
somewhere around three
months ago. Nerd stuff!
I go around to the corner
and meditate.
Yeah, absolutely.
Captain Zedek, what are you doing in here?
I'm just
cracking jokes about the fact that
we're woefully out of our depth
and going to die again.
You're not drinking medical alcohol?
No.
Just kind of follow along with Ree,
looking over things that look kind of suspect.
Like, we probably
want to be careful about what's in here
if everything else is kind of infected,
rotting, dead,
undead,
and prone to every sort of malady
we could probably imagine.
You're going to mix medical alcohol
with apple juice and drink it?
You're not going to do that?
I am not making a Dr. Appletini.
I'm a nice Steve Halligan.
Oh no, I'm sorry.
It's a doctor's orders.
Alright, so you're sticking with Ree
while Ree's doing his stuff and sort of
wisecracking. Pybrain, what are you up to?
Well, I am very eager to no longer be
internally bleeding. I was looking forward to that.
Beyond that,
there's no signs of anyone
being goofed in here.
I'll just do a quick scan. No, there's no bodies.
All of the sheets here look pristine.
It looks like this place hasn't seen
any active use in a while.
There's just
sort of the big
shelving unit that's sealed in the
corner of the room.
Otherwise, everything else is kind of exposed.
There's a lot of equipment here
that you could start going through.
Yeah, okay.
I'll go through the equipment while
Ree prepares my procedure.
You know, I'm a little curious as to
why this place would be untouched
while the rest of the ship was so goofed.
Yeah,
yeah, yeah. I mean, it's much like
ever since you got out of the
lower tram,
there's been no
sign of any of the problems
ailing the rest of the ship.
You start going, looking over
the various items here. You can see
there's lots of medicinal goods
along the walls, sort of
behind the stack shelving
units on the walls. You can see that there's more of
that script in the walls, more
hymnals from the
ecclesiarchy documents.
You see a lot of
notes from the lectitio
divinitatis,
various praises and hymns
to the emperor of mankind.
But while you're
investigating these, you find several
notable items.
First of all, you find
an auspex unit.
Ah!
It's a
handheld auspex.
You also find
a
diagnoster.
Okay.
So these are all
actual equipment pieces.
So a diagnoster,
for example, is plus one bonus to
Medicaid tests to detect
diagnosed diseases, injuries, and ails.
You also see
three doses of
stims.
Hmm.
And a full
set of chirurgen's tools.
Hmm.
So
chirurgen's tools are a variant of a
medkit. They function as a
medkit and also grant a
plus two bonus die on Medicaid
tests when a character is dying.
Interesting.
Ah, I
will go and bring what I found
to Reeb.
Yeah, so Reeb, I assume you're looking as
well. I was going to kind of save
you for last. Are you going to
be looking around? You can see that
Pi is sort of like perusing
the periphery of the room. What are you doing here?
Reeb is trying to take in as much as he
can as quickly as he can because he will not
have an opportunity like this to stock up
and take stock of their
situation like
this for probably quite a while.
Okay. So he's looking for
additional stimulants, other kinds
of chemicals he can possibly use with his
Medicaid knowledge to either fabricate or
mix together into some kind of
assisting stimulant in terms
of like combat ability or just
like keeping shit away from us.
And he's also looking for actual
records of what's happening here and maybe
just like evidence of
anything possibly happening in here that's bad.
Sure, sure, sure. It sounds
more like you're wanting to investigate
the area. Is that right?
That would be a fair assessment. Yeah.
Let's give me an investigation check.
Okay, that's still pretty high.
Not if I do that.
I'm going to re-roll that because three's crap.
Sure.
Wrath gets
me a six. That's still my glory. Would you like to throw any
glory at that?
Can I throw two, guys?
Go for it.
That'll get me one
extra, so that's a seven. Cool, perfect.
Yeah, so you start
going through everything here.
You can see that the, as Lorne
discovered, even with his
lack of any check,
the data here is pretty
mundane, what you would expect to see from a vessel.
You do see
that there
was a routine
medical check-up
on the party of
one Sleabogo
de Fakrby when he came on
board the vessel.
Though they're just like
all essentially notes that indicate
everyone checked out.
You do, however, find
a personal
addendum from the ship's
chirurgeon and physician that indicates
his
excitement
at getting
a look at the
physiology of one of the
Adeptus Astartes.
That's alarming,
but sure.
Can I look into that one at all?
It's simply just a
note that indicates
that this chirurgeon was
excited,
the specimen
as he refers to it
as
was in excellent health
as would be assumed
of one of the Emperor's angels,
even one as young
in his lifespan
as this one. He goes
on to make a commentary
on the use of the
the phrasing of
bub a lot
and how it
was a strange sort of
vocalization that this
member of the Astartes made, but that is it.
Yeah, can I
try to find anything like a
console to cross-reference that with?
Because I don't like the sounds of that at all.
Sure.
Can I go over to the one that Lorne is using actually?
Yeah, yeah, like Lorne has like walked away
from it having like raised his
hands up and stepped on it. Touched it.
He touches it. Birds are hard.
So I'll do a scholar
on that then I guess.
No, uh, like yeah, you can give me a
scholar actually, that's a good option.
That was a fuckin' five.
Pain in my ass. Yeah, okay, so a five
um, what a five
tells you is that
it looks like they didn't
keep any of the actual
data on
DeFuckerby's party. It looks like there was an inspection done
and per their authority it was simply
just a make sure that none of them
had any pathogens or anything like that.
Which all appears in order.
It looks like they were admitted onto the vessel
and went through a quick medical screening
like you would expect when you're doing long-term travel
on a vessel. Uh-huh.
Um...
Alright,
so that's not terribly helpful. I don't like
the sound that there was just a space marine here with
like no confirmation
and they were calling him a specimen, so that sucks.
But hey, we'll deal with that as we come to that.
Uh, do I find
any medicines
that I can use or
any sort of stimulants? What kind of
things would be available that I could
co-opt for cops?
So essentially what Pybrain has discovered
represents the treasure
trove in here. The three stims,
the diagnoster, and the
chirurgian's kit are all
of pretty big note
to you. There is also sort of
that sealed larger
cabinet unit that none of you have investigated.
Uh, that appears to have some
kind of mechanical lock on it.
Ooh, I could have missed that.
Investigate it. Can you say that again?
I could, and I did, and I'll investigate it.
Yeah.
Mechanical lock, eh?
Yes.
Well,
I may not have my combi tool, but I'm still
a tech priest. I will
attempt to open it. Sure.
Okay, here we go.
Four.
Uh, you're able to
access it, but you discover a
door that it appears to have some kind of
gene locking on it.
Uh, it would...
You'd need a higher check in order to
open it than a four.
Uh, you're guessing it's probably
difficulty eight in order to open it.
Okay, I will spend
two glory, if you guys don't mind.
Okay.
Uh, yes, because this seems
rather important.
Alright, so that's
six, and then I will wrath the rest.
Okay.
So one, two, three, four, five, six.
You need two successes here in order
to hit the magic
number.
Uh, yeah, so I will get it with
um, three. Yeah.
Three. Cool.
After some tinkering and
some checking around the area and conferring
with Reeb, you manage to identify
that the specific gene lock
is, uh,
for
one that is
uh,
for an individual designated
Chief Prosthelitizer
uh,
Decorias.
Mhm. And you get some of the
genetic code from the samples here
and place it on the device, and
it chimes, and this
locker opens.
And as it opens, you are
uh, met by two objects.
The first of all,
uh, the first of these objects, uh,
and Pi, you would recognize this
immediately, is a set of
um, austere
but light-grade power
armor. Oh!
It has sort of a, a black
and white color motif
uh, inscribed
with various filigrees of
of, like, angelic figures
and the, the sort of
symbology of the, of the
ecclesiarchy of the Emperor.
There is a, an immense
image of he who dwells
on Terra's face, somber
eyes closed on the chest piece.
Um, behind
it, however, uh,
sort of strapped to the back of this
is an immense
chainsaw unit.
Uh, you recognize
this as an eviscerator
weapon.
Which is a, one of the most
brutal chain weapons in existence.
Wow.
Uh,
Sorry, go ahead.
It's beautiful.
Does this
look like old tech?
Uh,
it looks like well-maintained old tech.
Hmm.
Concerning. We cannot allow
these to go down with the ship.
No, absolutely not. I'm
very peculiar.
We'd terrible if it fell into the wrong
hands, I mean. With your previous
scholar checks, you'd know, like,
like, the Missionarius Galaxia
often employs, like, a lot of
decent tech when
they are going to the fringes of the
Imperium and bringing the Emperor's
light to the unenlightened.
Specifically, those unenlightened who show
any form of resistance often
meet his light in
vicious ways.
So, looking at this armor, this is
definitely just like,
this is like human power armor, right?
Yes. This is, this is effectively,
uh, per the rulebook, this is a
set of light power armor.
Um.
Which any of you could
wear.
Who wants to draw straws?
I've already got power armor, so
please one of you three take it. Yeah.
It's tempting for me because it would give
me an extra point of strength.
Um.
However.
Hmm. Lauren,
do you want a melee attack?
It would give you an
extra point of strength, but no one can
use your auto-queerness.
That is true, but my,
it has equal defense to my
auto-queerness. Yes, but what I'm
saying is, is if you took, like, this
and put it on, your auto-queerness,
you can't hand that off to someone else in the
party. Oh, I know. I know.
So, like, I guess, uh,
the main utility would be, we
could give it to Reeb, um,
but- I could pass my Carapace to fuckin'
Morn. Yeah, cause then you'd
get to be- Yeah, my armor's already
the same as his, basically. Honestly, I
Hmm.
Cause, like, if it were,
if it were heavier power armor, then I would be, uh,
more like, oh shit, cause strength,
strength 8 versus strength 7.
It's appealing to me, especially
if I try out that Eviscerator.
Um.
Does he need to improve his stats to use
the Eviscerator, is the question. That's, that's actually a really
good question, cause I need to find it real quick.
Uh, no, however
the Eviscerator is an unwieldy
weapon, so
it's, it's more difficult to use
in close combat, for example.
Right, yeah, it gives you a plus 2
difficulty number.
Long range.
That would be useful to have, yeah.
Um. Oh, and yeah,
oh my god, 12 base
damage with a melee weapon, for me.
Actually, it would be 13.
Yeah. Extremely funny.
That is extremely
funny. I think the Eviscerator
I should probably grab.
Especially since everyone's got power swords.
I, I
would vote, um, speaking
here, get the Eviscerator and Reeb
get the power armor, because I have psychic powers
that get me resilience anyway.
And even with
the additional defense, I would still
get, like, kaploopled
a lot.
So, I, and you don't
have any way to bring up your resilience, and I
can do some psychic bullshit
to bring mine up to, like, 12.
So, you're good. I agree
with that. Looking over the stats, the plus 1
strength isn't as necessary for me.
And, uh, Reeb will benefit a lot more
from the 4H armor. Yeah. And you have a chance
to melee more than me. Exactly.
Power armor it is.
Uh, we'll go over that in a bit,
I guess. What can I, so,
we'll, we'll go over the specifics, I imagine,
after the game is done here.
About, like, what I'm adding to my inventory
in terms of medicine and other crap.
Yeah, I, I can send you the summary,
summary of the inventory. Yeah. Uh, but, like,
you can, you can put the power armor
on now. I assume, because the
save music is playing, you are,
you are taking a proper hour
regroup, uh, which will allow you to,
to heal up. Um, at this point
you can all just restore your wounds in shock
between Reeb's abilities.
Um, Reeb, I assume you are,
you are going to take this power armor,
spend the time putting it on as well.
Uh, Pybrain, you are
now pulling out the, the
eviscerator of this immense,
this immense,
uh, chainsword.
Absolutely. Can I make one question, DM?
Yes.
I'm gonna spend, uh,
a wrath point. Narrative declaration.
Mm-hmm. I wanna just see, just on
the, uh, hilt of it as I'm inspecting it,
that this eviscerator
was made in Lemuria.
I hate you.
No.
It was made in Metallica.
There you go. Oh, Metallica!
Those guys! We love Metallica!
I was gonna say, no,
it was... And it has a name
inscribed in acid.
On it.
What is its name?
The Sermonizer.
Oh, that's dumb.
Well, Sermonizer.
Hmm.
We're going to get you a new name.
I will wield you well.
Even to
Sermonizer. Uh, almost
as if it responds to you as you
speak to it, it, like, slightly revs
again.
Good. We
shall do such
things.
Guys, I feel pretty good about this.
And, like, as you turn, you then see
Reeb now, like, be decked
in this white and black
power armor with gold
filigree on it.
It's not like... I assume you're
wearing your outfit on top of it, like...
Yeah, the coat is going over
top of my normal character...
It would go over the carapace normally, so it's...
We're gonna have to probably see about getting
that changed a bit later, but hey.
I ain't changing this art.
It's expensive.
You're wearing that coat on top of it, sir.
It fits. It just fits.
Fuck you.
If my underwear can show through my ripped pants
and power armor, your character looks
exactly the same.
Oh my god.
I'm just salivating over this thing.
Six base damage dice.
Oh, trust me.
I put this in this
treasure trove going,
I'm going to give Speaker D hope
before I take it all away.
Thank you, hope man.
Why are you talking too high?
The whole machine speeded to something.
I don't care.
Who cares?
Who cares?
Oh, I almost...
I almost, uh...
Wait.
I almost made...
E.D.
That's in the damage space.
We'll talk about it later.
I don't want to make the
prequel game mistake.
The omniscient axe error of a million damage.
I see. We will handle it.
Don't worry.
Okay, cool.
So, yeah.
So with all of this, you've managed to
sort of re-equip. You've got some
gear. You've all sort of like
basically suited up.
At this point, as this sort of finishes up,
there is a chime.
Cap...
Oh, sorry.
Captain.
Yes? Hello?
This is Lieutenant
Ransom.
Oh, right. I forgot
we were laying through the servitor.
Yes, Lieutenant Ransom. It's so good to hear
somebody else, although it's through
a voice that is completely monotone.
Hi! What's up?
I'm just imagining the servitor
saying that. Hi!
What's up?
Yeah, like Ransom on the bridge.
How was
your day?
The Cap...
The Marengo
has hailed us
requesting a status update.
Captain Zedek looks at the party.
I have a text saying shit's fucked.
No. What if we were
to tell them things were normal aboard?
They would deploy their
forces and many soldiers would
die. And might be corrupted
and make more things for us to be
shot by.
I...
I definitely believe proper protocol
deems is necessary
here. We don't want to risk
any more innocence to this
plague, but...
Please give them an accurate report.
We may get proper assistance
sent towards us, so they can
secure their, uh,
salvage rights.
We...
If anyone asks, we have these when we talk.
Yes. Oh, absolutely.
If we are honest with them,
they may elect to simply shoot the ship.
Then they pay...
Then they pay the blood price that all traitors
must pay.
How are you...
You can't do that from here.
Well, I'll go there.
You can't go if you're dead.
Then we're dead! What are you talking about?
Just imagining Pybrain,
like, last Jedi princess
laying across space
with a chainsaw
Yeah, yeah.
It's like, that would be it,
because he'd be floating out,
and he'd be like...
Cut through the fucking hull,
murder everyone.
And then, like, on a couch,
he's, like, eating bonbon.
He's like, urgh, that shit was so tass.
And then, pssh, it just hies there
on, like, a bug, and just starts punching the glass.
Everyone's freaking out.
I'm coming for you.
You hoes are dead.
Captain,
what should...
How should we respond?
We have encountered resistance on board.
Non-friendly parties.
We could use reinforcement.
But if they reinforce us,
and not kill us,
they might get some goodies on board.
I want you to make a leadership
test for this.
I would love to, and fail
spectacularly.
Please don't complicate.
Please don't complicate.
Heavens. You don't want to know what's
an unfortunate event, though.
Uh, no.
Cat did donate to complicate it.
Motherfuck.
I have a request, uh,
DM.
Yes? Can I be the complication?
Proceed.
Yes, please.
Captain, you can't
order these people here. There are demons!
They're going to die,
I'll be corrected, especially when we're planning on blowing up this ship.
And I'll say
that loud enough for it to be clear.
Like, on the bridge of the Death Collector,
there are demons.
You, Cat, and all the crew
are turning to Ransom,
who also is just
kind of staring
shifty-eyed to the side.
Captain?
Is there something
you're not telling me?
Now you've done it.
Tell the truth, Zedek.
Shit's fucked.
We're trying to get out of here
alive. Don't tell
them that.
All right,
Captain. I will indicate
you are making progress
on foot through the vessel.
I will continue to stall
as best I can.
Please send reinforcements.
Please, God, send us some meat for the grinder!
No!
Wait, I count to Zedek, and I go,
Tell him to ask for reinforcements
at a normal
speaking speed,
but then reply to any other
questions they have
very slowly.
Just say it loud enough
for the servitor to hear.
It's basically just like,
Servitor, tell them that they need
to send reinforcements to secure
their loot, and we
will provide assistance.
But if they ask for any specific
details, I want
you to
answer like
the...
like five times slower than that
for everything they ask.
And make it really annoying.
Gentlemen, we can't have reinforcements.
This place
needs to be destroyed.
We need to escape and shell it.
No shit.
But if we send reinforcements,
it doesn't help us.
It just gets...
We're sending people to their deaths so we can
get out. Hopefully it's
the members of the other ship,
not ours.
It's the Imperium away, Pi.
Sir?
Should I send the Rattling
Auxiliaries over?
No, they are valuable to our
crew. Make the other...
Make the Marengo send reinforcements
if they want their shitty loot.
Understood, sir.
Welcome out.
Hmm.
Well, that ransom should buy us
some time. Pi looks very
perturbed.
Pi, why are you...
Why do you suddenly have
a conscience about sending people to their
death? Well, because
people aren't sent just to die
for no reason.
When you send people
to their deaths, it's for duty
and stuff, and no one in
the Imperium actually sends
people on missions that will
probably kill them for no reason.
Everybody looks at the camera.
I need to point something out to you
that's extremely important.
A moment ago,
the Marengo was
threatening us for this
position. They would not have let us take this
ship. Quite possibly
here to pull off whatever
Mr. DeFuckerby has
set up ahead of time. We can't be
certain one way or the other. All we know is that they
are here and they were impeding our ability
to investigate this ship normally
under without duress.
Why are we opposed to letting
them spend resources on us that would otherwise
be used against us? I have a
very good reason. Such as?
If we were to destroy them,
then they would merely be recycled into the
motive force. But if they were
to be attacked and killed by demons, we don't
know what happens to their souls. We're going to
destroy the ship anyway. Well, yeah, that's
fine. It's okay to kill people.
Hi, Brain. What the fuck?
Okay, I
want you.
People, I've got
this internal morality for
PyBrain that's never come
up. Oh, yeah.
He's insane. It's great.
Strap in.
In my readings of the
Libere Xenologis by the other
well-known traitor,
Janus Drake, this stuff
happens. We just do this to each
other.
It's just who
can outbackstab the other rogue
traitor and not die. Oh, you
are rogue traitors. That is right.
And think of it this way. If
everybody gets on the ship
and all those guys
get on the ship and then we blow up the ship
without telling them, they're in a weaker
position.
Well,
I don't like it.
They die. We get out
scot-free. You get your new sword
and we're all happy.
Well,
I don't like it,
but we'll see where it goes. Let's just
try to get it before
we blow them up
the good old-fashioned way. That's what I think. Hey, good question.
Wasn't fucking PyBrain
killing innocent people on the
Death Collector?
Yes. That was not his
compunction.
I'm sorry?
Please,
tell me your motive.
PyBrain to rewire him.
.
I'm gonna take away that gold star,
mister. No!
There's a lot of...
Get your wanted murder priorities
straight. They're really...
The only reason why... Okay,
I will explain for the class. He doesn't like it
because demons are involved and demons will
fuck up. He believes killing is okay
because everyone is just recycling the
motive for us.
He doesn't like the idea of
you sending people to get possessed by
demons. That's what he has discomfort with.
And he's also...
He's also incredibly naive about
how the Imperium actually works.
Yeah, but if they... Okay, we'll think of it this way.
We're using them as a distraction
if they do come and help
us. That means there's less people
to try to kill us.
And when we blow up the ship, they all die.
Exactly. They'll just return
their motive force back to the Great Circuit
in the Ethereal. Okay,
but we gotta get real steppy on blowing up
this ship and killing all those people. We have to.
Cool, let's get onto it.
Look up the terminals and look up
where the blow blow bits are.
Okay. I'm gonna do that.
We are ambassadors.
I'm so glad
that we took some...
that we had to take some preschool level
fucking steps
to get to this point.
I love you.
War hams, ladies and gentlemen.
War hams.
Pybrain, you were able to pull up
the ship schematic from here, having access
to it previously. You can tell that this
is the four Medicaid
deck. It's reserved for officers
and honored crew members
and VIP dignitaries, which
quickly explains why it's barely seen any
use. You can also tell that
this is directly
below the primary entryway
into the ship's strategium.
Mhm.
Okay.
Well, it seems
as though we are
somewhere
where we need to go to that place.
And I pointed the strategium.
I think that's where we need to go, then.
Do we have any...actually,
we don't have...
Either we will have the knowledge
to overload the system and
blow it up, or do we need to grab
explosives?
You could tell that you'd have to
be in the strategium just to see what
the ship's overall status is.
That's where you're going to get the most information,
and could do, as Pi would know,
the most damage.
Can I pick any chemicals
that are in the area real quick?
Can I do a Medicaid to find out what chemicals
could possibly be volatile and explosive
if mixed in a certain way?
Absolutely. Give me a Medicaid check.
We'll say Difficulty 4.
We'll give you a Medicaid check.
Difficulty 4.
With the page loads, it gives me a Medicaid check.
I believe in your Medicaid check.
Uh, yeah!
Find some things that are absolutely
corrosive when they are combined together.
Not quite explosive, but like
very corrosive.
Then I will ensure that the containers are not cracked,
and I will store them in my inventory.
Excellent.
Please mark that with an asterisk
beside it. Good.
So at this point,
I'm assuming you are all
doing your final prep.
Pi Brain, you lead
the charge out with your new
eviscerator.
Captain Zedek, you follow.
Reeb, you have your
power armor, have got your concoctions
and head out, and then Lorne, you are sort of
taking up the rear.
And as
you have this dramatic exit
from the ship's Medicaid
and make your way towards the
Strategeum, where the Emperor knows what
is, Lorne,
you stumble.
And suddenly,
everything goes black
around you.
And you feel
yourself as you
struggle to get back into reality.
You find yourself
on a chair.
It's cold
and metal.
And it's touching bare skin.
You've been stripped
down to just the
briefs at this point.
And you've been manacled to the back
of a chair.
It's complete darkness
around you.
I hold
my resolve while also
freaking the fuck out.
What does that sound
or look like?
Move on.
And as you sit there,
you just hear a voice from the
darkness beyond.
Well then,
your friends
have given me much.
Now it is time to see what you
will tell me.
Okay.
I'm waiting on you.
It's like, usually
the evil spirit thing continues
after this. These trips are
very common when you get high in Fenris.
And you
like, shout this back into the
darkness, but there is no response.
And then you kind of come
back into the hall,
having slightly stumbled behind
your friends.
They didn't notice,
so I keep going.
Okay. And you walk
on. That is
where we are going to end
today's episode.
Hooray!
Now I can
die. Thanks everyone
for joining with us today.
I hope you all had super
duper fun times. I'd like to say
thank you to our guitar arranger,
Speaker D.
Indeed.
If you would like to find more of me
and my complicated,
inconsistent
moral system, you can find me
at SuperSnakeKick on Twitter.
You can find me on the YouTube
as Speaker D. And you
can watch if the Emperor had a text-to-speech device
or I do voice acting, and I'm one of the lead writers.
I'd like to also thank
Arundel, who has been playing
Reeve Van Horn, our inquisitorial
Sorry, everything shipped
there for a second. Am I still here?
Yes.
Yes, my name is Arundel. I am
lead writer on the show for TTS,
and you can find me on Twitter
at Arundelio.
I sometimes retweet the thing, and I also make other
cool, fun, hot takes, such as video games
and other things. Also, I got an upgrade,
so I feel good.
And I am
Zoran the Bear. I have been playing
Lorne, the
sanctioned Saka,
and Lashley, well not Lashley,
actually we have Hulky Crow, who has been
playing our rogue trader,
Captain Zedek.
That would be me.
You can find me, if you'd like to see my
idiotic musings and occasional meme posts,
on Twitter, at Hulky Crow.
Occasionally in Zoran's lovely
Discord server, he is
wonderfully made. And, of course, nobody
fears the nosebears.
And finally,
I'd like to say thank you to Thurston Hillman
for running the campaign and being
overall an awesome friend.
Aww, thanks, buddy.
And thanks, everyone, for watching
episode two
of our spoopy, spoopy
times.
I think next episode
we will find more of the mysteries
of the Carillon, and perhaps
put an end to
the spookiness on this vessel.
Yeah,
with this, I will be sending everyone
off onto a raid. Hope you guys
enjoyed everything you've been seeing
so far. Thank you, everyone on Patreon, who's been
supporting us there, and
I'll try to get this up as soon as I can
this weekend for people there. And
remember, Warhams Fantasy,
quick announcement thing, unfortunately has to be
delayed a week, as we have to
adjust things. So,
sorry for that. We will still keep you
updated, and we'll start getting all
our Patreon things up going fairly soon.
So see you in two weeks. Be sure to visit
warhams.tv for all the scheduling
and also the countdown for your time zone

So long.
Farewell.
Love you all.
Love you all.
Now if you start to understand the
categorical imperative, you might understand
by the nature. No, no, no.
Love you guys.
