This is Adam here from
Tales of the Broken Realms.
I'm just coming on here to let you
know that with Sam's episode two,
we did run into some audio issues,
and we missed about the first 30
minutes of the start of the session.
So apologies for that.
I also want to forewarn you that when
Caleb starts d- dungeon mastering
for his session, we did run into
some audio issues there as well.
So we will do a recap just like we
will for the first 30 minutes that
we missed here, as well as we'll do a
recap for Caleb's, which is coming up.
So, uh, f- without further
ado, here is the recap.
The party walks through the
mist and gets to the town.
They walk to the nearest inn, a tavern,
and as they walk through the doors, they
seem that everything's normal in there.
The townsfolks are not
freaking out about the mist.
They are having a jolly good time.
Everything seems perfectly okay.
Um, they approach the barkeep.
The barkeep asks for the finest
ales, hands the party them.
As the party looks out the window,
the town looks sunshine, looks
like a nice summer day, but they
just came through all of this, and
they know that the mist is there.
Um, so they start
investigating a little further.
Uh, Reggie throws a rock through the
window, and it breaks the immersion.
And you o- understand that the
immersion itself is some kind of, uh,
magical force field around the tavern
keeping everyone seemingly okay.
Um, as they continue to press the
barkeep, uh, they're not getting
much information out of the way.
They end up hearing in the distance
a scream and some moans happening.
The party immediately leaves the tavern
into the mist of the town and get
to the town square with the church.
Um, they are encountered by hulking
figures attacking a lone, uh, paladin.
That would be Sky's character,
an introduction to Sky, uh,
coming on for Sam's episode two.
Um, with that, we pick up in the middle
of combat against these hulking figures,
and you just have to see how it goes.
