In this life, there are things that we have worked
really hard for. Things that we have gained after
a lot of struggle, and so we deeply
value those things. But what about things that
come effortlessly? Do we really value them enough?
Namaste and welcome to yet another episode
of the Mahakatha meditation mantras podcast.
I'm your host, Preeti. And today, we're talking about
valuing things that come with struggle
versus valuing things that come effortlessly.
And, of course, I'm here to introduce a beautiful mantra.
But before that, here's a little experiment, a little
exercise I want you to do within your mind
right now. You ready? Imagine
you are holding this Beautiful
award in your hand. This
gorgeous sleek memento made
out of gold or crystal. You
are grasping it. You are Standing on a
stage with all the lights shining upon you
and the entire audience is full of
applause for you. And they're looking up to you,
waiting for you to make a victory
speech. Imagine you're getting
this award for finally accomplishing
your biggest dream, your biggest
goal, whatever that may be. Imagine
that that one goal
that you've worked so hard for until now,
that you've put hours and weeks, months years
of effort into. You
have finally achieved. And this
is your moment to share the story of your
success. So there you are, memento
in one hand and microphone in the other, and
you're about to make your speech. What would you
say? How would that speech go?
Of course, I want you to thank everybody
that you want to thank. I want you to
express your joy, your gratitude.
But when it comes to talking about your journey,
instead of saying how difficult it was to
get to this point, I want you to say
how easy it was to get to this point.
I want you to stand on that imaginary stage
and tell the world that this great
big success happened
effortlessly for you. I want you to tell
the world that you had been struggling a little
bit initially but then one day,
things just started to fall in line.
Opportunities started showing up for you and
it felt like the whole universe had turned
in your favor. I want you to tell the world that
you felt in Tune with your inner wisdom.
You felt deeply inspired.
You felt a strong sense of intuition
to make all the right choices. And
one after the other, every action that
you seem to take brought you success
after success after success. I want you
to stand on that imaginary stage
and tell the world The incredible
story of how effortlessly you
achieved success. I know this
is a little counterintuitive because we
mostly hear people talk about their struggles,
Talk about how much they had to go through to get to a
point where they are being recognized for something.
But through this small little exercise,
I want you to challenge that
unspoken inner belief that
only what you get through struggle and
effort is truly
worth feeling good about or
celebrating or appreciating.
Right from our childhood, we have been conditioned to
believe that value and worth
are directly proportional to the effort we put in
or the struggle we face. The
stories of the Self made man have
always been put on a higher pedestal than the story of
someone for whom life unfolded
easily. Joy came easily. Success
came easily. Somehow,
the value of things we must fight
for and struggle for is
considered so high that something that comes
easily to us, something that falls into our lap,
almost miraculously, has barely any
value. It is almost considered noble
to struggle that
our minds have subconsciously decided that
the opposite of that, the absence of struggle is
ordinary, is unremarkable, is
not worth celebrating. And as long
as we let this subconscious belief stay,
we will continue to turn a blind eye
to the beauty of effortless things,
to the blessing of effortless
things. We will always ignore
the calm and Serene path
of least resistance. And we will continue to
choose the path that involves Stress that
involves conflict, that involves unhappiness, that
involves struggle. And so in today's episode, By
giving that victory speech of how miraculously easy
things have been for you, I hope you can hear
the beauty of that story
and I hope that is the story that
you end up manifesting because I don't want you to
have to go through a long harrowing
journey. It doesn't have to be that way.
I want your Journey to feel rewarding and
peaceful and joyful in every single
step, and satisfying in every single step. And I want
it to feel pleasant and creative and
enriching. I want your journey to feel
long and happy and eager and
patient and trusting and intuitive
and inspired. I want your
journey, your success story to be nothing short
of miraculous. And speaking
of miracles and effortlessness, let me
bring to you today's mantra, The
Krishna Bija mantra. This is the
seed mantra attributed to lord
Krishna who according to Hindu mythology
is the bestower of success, the giver
of contentment, and a divine
source of pleasant,
effortless cosmic joy.
The beeja mantra or the seed mantra
of lord Krishna has traditionally been chanted
for invoking that sense of cosmic joy and satisfaction.
And the more we can all invoke such joy and
satisfaction in our daily lives, the more we
can celebrate ease over effort,
the happier we will be not just after
reaching our destination but all
along the way. Here are 2 of the
most beautiful things our listeners have
experienced after listening to the Krishna Bija
mantra. The first one says, "Today, I was
down and my spirit was broken, then
you came to me with this beautiful mantra. This
has calmed my mind and my spirit and filled
it with confidence to stand up and start my
journey. Thank you, Krishna." The
2nd comment says, "This is so relaxing
and calming. From my own experience, I
recommend that particular mantra for morning practice.
It sets up your day. It's
also good in the evening if you are unsure what is going on in
your life and you are in a condition of distress.
It will clear up your thoughts and calm down your
emotions spinning around your head. I
truly love this mantra and I found it beneficial
for all beings. I truly love this
mantra." Wonderful.
Thank you so much dear listeners For the beautiful comment
thread that you've left on this particular mantra on
YouTube. And If you, dear listener, would
like to try out this mantra, listening to it
either every morning or evening or whenever you feel
overwhelmed or exhausted or stuck where you are,
then I bring you this mantra today At an exclusive

description of this episode and go ahead and avail
this chant. Meditate with it.
Chant it because it's a fairly easy mantra to chant
and visualize the best possible
version of your success story, not the hardest.
I really hope that this mantra becomes the
catalyst in switching your path from the
path of most effort but to the
path of most ease.
With that, we come to the close of today's
episode. Thank you so much dear listener for joining me
today. And I hope this new perspective on success
lingers in your mind long after this episode is
over for a really long time. I will be back again
next week With a brand new episode and mantra.
Until then, stay blessed.
