Now, if you're listening to this episode, then you're probably in a really interesting place when it comes to your online service-based business.

You're either starting to build your business from the ground up and really fleshing out the foundations, or you already have the foundations established and you're looking to evolve.

But when it comes to so many online service providers are really good at getting started because getting started is really just about the energy in building momentum in making decisions and then choosing to initiate. But where the challenge really comes in is how to maintain that over time.

So in this episode, I'm gonna be breaking down why things feel like they still aren't working in your online business and how you can use astrology to fix it.

I'm gonna let you in on a secret that a lot of folks don't know: online business owners are really good at getting started. The challenge really comes in when it comes to how to maintain that energy to grow and scale.

Let me break it down: when you're just getting started, when you are in the beginning stages of establishing your business, it really comes down to following the foundations. Because the business foundations are the same, no matter if you have a coaching or consulting or a service-based business.

The foundations of running the business are essentially the same, which I've talked about in previous episodes of the podcast. If you're not sure what the foundations are, you can go and give those episodes a listen after this one.

But, getting started is really about the energy of initiation. It's about creating. It's about beginning. And really comes down to not creating things out of thin air, but essentially having the courage to make decisions, to say no to things that you don't want to do, and to create a really streamlined approach to create space so that you can do more of what you want to be doing.

So if you have a coaching business, right? How can you create space and make decisions to establish a coaching business? You let go of the options that would put you down other paths; that would force you to become a content creator, or a freelancer, or to just go down the path that isn't connected to you actually stepping into the identity of being a coach. You would choose the decisions that allow you to actually build a coaching business: to coach your clients through your marketing content; to lead them into sales calls so that you can book private clients in your one-on-one coaching container, and then actually delivering on that coaching program. That's how you get started, right?

As long as you follow the foundations and you're true to that, then you're able to get started. But that's where actually the biggest challenge comes in for so many online service providers.

It's not that they're trying to get started. It's not that you are trying to get started, but rather you're looking to maintain that success and that initial spark that you had at the beginning of your journey.

And so often, business owners think that the challenge of why they're feeling that challenge is coming from them doing something wrong.

Maybe you think that you made a wrong decision or you chose something differently, or that you did something bad, right? And look, maybe you chose a decision that isn't necessarily the best fit for you.

But it's not really about doing something bad or wrong. It's really about this feeling of misalignment. This feeling that even though you made the decisions that may have worked previously, at this point in time, they just no longer work and you're not necessarily sure how to pivot, how to adjust accordingly, and how to make further decisions to put you back on the track of where you want to be.

That's really what misalignment is about.

At its core, misalignment is really about there being an emphasized difference between where it is you currently are and where you want to be. It's that friction that exists between the reality of your business; the reality of your business foundations; and where you actually want to go.

So. This is where astrology is, I think, the most helpful, when you're at this particular crossroads of feeling misaligned with your business. And look, there's so many different ways of getting there and so many different versions of misalignment and how it can show up for you in your business.

Misalignment can show up in no longer feeling like your offers are prominent or powerful for you. You're not lit up and excited about them. You're feeling bored in your business. You're not feeling challenged. You feel like, oh my gosh, I could do this with my eyes closed. I am saying the same thing over and over again.

My clients aren't getting it. There is a certain level of resentment that exists for your offers, your marketing, your clients. You are resenting the very business that you were once excited to build.

All of this points to the reality of being at this particular crossroads of feeling misaligned with your business.

At this point, this is where the temptation to burn it all down and to start new really becomes a siren song that is a little hard to ignore, if you don't know that this is actually what's happening. So instead of burning it all down and starting from scratch, because there is this assumption that misalignment can only be cured if you can get back that passion; if you could return back to the excitement that you had when you were first beginning or initiating something.

But passion is supposed to be short-lived. It's supposed to be a fleeting thing. Because it's supposed to change form and evolve along with you over time. So the real solution to fixing misalignment in your business is to change direction; is to make better decisions; is to make the decisions that lead you back to your initial vision so that you can bring yes, passion, but also the sustainability of your business back on track with where you want it to go in the first place.

So this is actually where astrology does its best work and business astrology in particular is extremely powerful for you to be using in your business strategy.

So there are a few placements you can look to in your chart to help you uncover what those decisions of alignment actually look like for you within your business.

So if you've been a listener of the podcast for a while, you already know what the first one is. It's your Midheaven.

I have talked about the Midheaven before because it is the best place to start when it comes to business astrology. Your Midheaven is the north star of your birth chart when it comes to business astrology, and it is always going to be this guiding force that you can come back to, to realign yourself behind.

The why of your business is the placement that is all about how you are best suited to lead to use your talents and your gifts to best support your clients and to make the biggest change in your business. It also points you back to one of the most important components of alignment, which is your vocation.

You can build a business that isn't necessarily connected with what you feel passionate about. And this can be another avenue of why misalignment may be arising for you. Maybe that passion in that feeling of personal fulfillment is missing all together.

A lot of people build really successful businesses that have nothing to do with what they're personally interested in. So when it comes to feeling misaligned in your business, it could be that your vocation needs more space to exist and to thrive. And this is a really great place to get clearer on what your Midheaven actually is pointing to when it comes to what your vocation could be and how it can work best inside of your business strategy.

So your Midheaven can work within your business to uncover your particular leadership style: the particular way that you are meant to show up as the actual leader of your business and step into the identity of being a business owner, what that actually looks like. How it relates to not just your title and how you best support your clients, but also what it is that you are actually doing as an online service provider.

That particular title that showcases the work that you do, as well as your personal experience with. The work that you're doing with your clients, your Midheaven can give you back that particular flavor of like how you are meant to do the thing, how you are meant to coach, how you are meant to consult, how you are meant to be a service provider in a way that is completely different from how other people within your niche industry are doing similar things.

So working with your Midheaven is so important. It's not just about uncovering or using to figure out what type of business to create, but it really is about how to uncover what you are truly excited about. What is the work that is going to bring you the most personal fulfillment and how you can combine that with your, within your business strategy in order to make the work that you're doing personally fulfilling and not just something that you're doing for the sake of others.

The other thing to consider when it comes to feeling more aligned within your business is to figure out where you were personally meant to shine. So outside of the Midheaven, there are particular points that we can use in the birth chart to uncover this. And these are not necessarily planets, but they are specifically calculated points within your birth chart that uncover this. And they are the Lot of Spirit and the Lot of Fortune.

The lots are based on traditional astrology techniques and they point to specific calculated points within your chart. So they're going to be different for every single person because it's based on an actual mathematic calculation based on where your sun, moon, and rising respectively are located within your birth chart.

So it's really, really cool to uncover what these lots are and. Where they exist within your birth chart, but the Lot of Spirit and the Lot of Fortune, respectively, can be really important when it comes to uncovering the missing link between how you can feel more aligned within your online business. So I love to bring this in and incorporate this with the work that I do with my clients, because this helps you to not just uncover where it is you truly shine, but also how to bring in that passion and that excitement, and create the space for your unique gifts and strengths to shine within your business.

So the Lot of Fortune is really about the luck and the fate and the fortune of your circumstances. So these are things that you are innately born with. The circumstances that you have innately and that are more so fixed, right? They are, for better or for worse, they're just gonna naturally be the circumstances that you have and that you have to operate within.

Now, the Lot of Spirit, on the other hand, is going to be the fate and the fortune and the circumstances that are within your control. You have a say over how you're able to navigate this.

Working with your Lot of Spirit could be really powerful when it comes to uncovering how to better align your online business to your natural gifts and strengths, so that you can incorporate this feeling of feeling passionate and alive again within your business and have it be something that is truly built from you, that is one of one, rather than being just one of many in a sea of people who are doing very similar things.

Your Lot of Spirit is really a powerhouse that is completely underrated within astrology. But because this is a calculated point within your birth chart, this is highly personalized to you, and this is actually pointing more so towards your purpose. So when folks in modern astrology are talking about the North Node being your destiny or your purpose, that's actually what the Lot of Spirit is meant to be. And the Lot of Spirit is going to be more accurate in terms of being your purpose than your North Node, which is a chaotic, maleic point in astrology.

So working with your Lot of Spirit, especially in combination with your Midheaven, is really going to help bridge this gap between misalignment that currently exists within your business, and how to make your business feel like you again. To create the space for you to feel passionate about the work that you're doing and personally fulfilled and have that be used as motivation for you to step into your identity as a business owner and really begin to evolve or make different decisions and changes with your business foundations in order to move it forward.

That's how you use astrology to feel more aligned with your online business, and how you can truly make this process your own based on your personal placements.
