We are back and better than ever.

From the gym to the screen, yeah,

we cover it all.

Midday motivation every time you press

call.

Lunch with the Clydesdale.

Cowboy bring the heat.

Crossfit, boobies, music on repeat.

Half hour hustle, yeah,

we building that brand.

Grab a plate, tune in now,

you part of the fam.

It's lunchtime.

What is going on, everybody?

We are back.

That was very Broadway-esque.

I don't even know what it was, dude.

It is lack of sleep sing.

That's what that is.

I slept about nine hours last night,

which is like at least two hours more

than I normally would,

and that's at a minimum.

I slept probably eight last night,

like a good eight sleep,

but I'm making up for lost time.

Oh, yeah, I bet.

I absolutely bet.

But you know what helped me with my

eight-hour sleep?

A little sack of thirdsy.

Take a scoop,

put it in my blender bottle,

a little bit of water, shake it up,

chug that thing down.

and uh got a good restful recovered sleep

even though it was only eight hours i'm

just i just gotta play catch up for

a couple days it'll be fine dude you'll

recover even fifteen percent off code

jazzy at checkout that is thirdsy.com

backslash jazzy you know what you know

what doesn't thirdsy doesn't stop thirdsy

doesn't stop me singing our theme song at

three o'clock in the morning every time i

get up to pee

Oh, yeah, a hundred percent.

It hits me randomly during the day, dude.

It hits me randomly during the day.

If I hear something like my Generation X,

you know, word association brain, because,

you know,

we used to play word association games all

the time.

I'll hit something like it doesn't even,

it's just one word from the song and

all of a sudden I'm,

Lunch with the Clydesdale.

One of our dudes in our EMOM group

has signed up in the Clydesdale division

for a triathlon.

And as soon as he put that in

the group,

I sang the entire song to myself.

Yeah.

Well,

there's nothing like singing a cowboy in

the saddle as you're peeing.

As you're peeing.

That's fantastic.

This may be proof that this song is

better than the Sunday song.

I don't disagree with that.

I don't.

It's a lot easier with just the two

of us.

One of us is Clydesdale.

One's a cowboy.

They just go together.

It's easier to make a song about a

horse and a cowboy than it is about

a hockey player, a gritty athlete,

gritty Masters athlete,

and a dude that talks a lot.

Yeah.

Right?

A hundred percent.

So it just is what it is, man.

It's fine.

Meg got nine hours,

didn't even know it was eight thirty when

she woke up.

dude that's so I flew home yesterday and

the Kansas City Airport is a solid thirty

five minutes from Kansas like it's out in

the middle of nowhere at this point flight

was at six fifteen and I am the

not the get at get to the airport

at the last minute and hope for the

best guy like I'm not doing that so

I woke up at three o'clock in the

morning

Got my stuff together, loaded up,

rolled out.

Had to stop with gas in the rental

before I dropped it off.

Like all of the all that shit.

And got a little bit of sleep on

the plane.

Got a little got more on the second

on the second flight, dude.

So you tell people this because it's

incredible.

So Southwest does assigned seating now,

right?

Like that's a thing now.

And whenever you, like I had,

we used points and I just,

I was like,

I don't really care where I sit.

There's nobody else coming with me.

If I'm in the middle seat, whatever.

Both flights there, sat in the middle.

First flight home, sat in the middle.

Second flight home was on a window seat

in the very first aisle.

Which has not happened since I came home

from basic training or was going back to

actually basic training in my travel

attire for the army.

And they were like, oh,

we're going to upgrade you to, you know,

whatever, just because I was in uniform.

FYI, more leg room for one.

Not that I need a whole lot of

leg room, but still, it's not the point.

I could stretch my legs out a little

bit and had that nice, just like,

I'm just going to sleep my head up

against this window.

And that was completely random.

It wasn't even a thing.

So I actually got a deal on my

trip home where I could upgrade for one

hundred and twelve dollars to first class.

What?

Yes.

Here is my hundred and twelve dollars.

And you get free checked bags when you

upgrade to first class.

So take the forty five dollar bag fee

off.

Sixty bucks.

First class.

I'm flying overnight.

I just want to sleep.

Well worth it.

Well worth it.

That's awesome.

However, people are rude.

I was in the first seat on my

last from Minneapolis to Columbus.

Guy beside me has like a whole mining

outfit that he's got to get down from

the overhead.

Yeah.

Helmet, lamp.

All the things.

Yeah.

And he,

he comes down and then I go to

get up and move.

And all these people like dark past me

to get off the plane.

And about the fourth one went by and

I'm like, F this.

And I threw an elbow and a shoulder

and,

Let's go.

I'm getting off the plane.

Yeah.

People are so – people are incredible.

Sometimes it's good.

Sometimes it's bad.

Usually on flights, it's pretty bad.

I will say that.

The six-foot-plus guy walking in seeing

Corey in his seat, it was probably livid.

So a couple sat next to me on

that flight, like from Chicago back to,

back to New Orleans.

And the dude that was on the aisle

was, is probably six foot three,

six foot four.

I have never seen somebody sleep so

comfortably sitting up in my entire life.

His wife sat down,

he sat down and within five minutes he

was out completely and just

like that the entire time when we landed

i was uh talking to his wife for

a second and i said and he woke

up and you know you live here blah

blah whatever and they were coming in to

visit and i said man i admire your

ability to just sleep sitting up that was

i was actually pretty awe-inspiring to

watch well um i did see uh ken

walters in here where's that at

Where the hell were you hiding all week?

I met and saw everyone and anyone but

you.

Here's the crazy thing, Ken.

First of all,

I spent the first couple days at the

Masters games.

So I was not even at the SAP

Center or anything around the SAP Center.

And I met a ton of people at

the Masters games.

Met a lot of people that listened,

took selfies, did the whole bit, right?

Saw David Johnston,

who's in the chat there.

Saw him out there giving it his all.

us hung out with Shanna Bunce this

weekend.

Um, really great time.

So then we get over to the SAP

center for Friday, Saturday, Sunday,

and the media room and the media seats

were down by the rig and to get

to like any place other than it,

we were just,

we were in a really nice room with

a lot of accommodations other than

outlets.

Um,

To get up and around to anybody was

hard because we were at a level where

you couldn't go to another level without

going out to the seats and getting up

and around.

It was just weird.

And just for mirror's lice.

But did you get pocket tacos?

I did not get pocket tacos.

I didn't.

So I finally got up on Sunday,

and I just started walking around the

arena.

And I went out,

and I went to Vendor Village,

and I walked around Vendor Village.

I didn't see a damn soul.

Really?

I bet you I made two laps of

the upper deck.

It wasn't upper deck.

It's how you get down to the lower

seats, but the concourse around it.

And I made two,

three laps around Vendor Village on Sunday

at different times.

Didn't see a soul.

Damn.

Cause there was a big gap between the

machine thing in the morning,

then all the teams and then the

individuals finishing off the afternoon.

And so I got to meet Jason born

this weekend.

Outstanding human being.

Big shout out to him.

Also got to meet Mr.

Peter Benoit right there from the chat,

who is eight hundred feet tall.

FYI, very, very fit dude.

He was competing this weekend.

Me and him chatted Sunday for probably

thirty five minutes standing there in the

middle of in the village,

just talking about all the things that had

happened.

Awesome dude.

Who else?

Who else?

Who else?

If you may have seen him around,

AutisticHiller in the chat.

I met that guy this weekend.

I don't know if he's necessarily in ours

or hold out.

Yes, he was.

Talk to that dude.

Another thirty five,

forty minutes on Friday, I believe it was.

Another great human being and just some

other people that I see on a regular

basis whenever I go

Incompete.

So shout out to all of those people.

Shout out to my girl Toya for keeping

me in her basement all weekend.

Can't thank them enough, dude.

Cannot thank them enough.

Anything I needed,

including apparently knee sleeves,

which I own now, which are awesome.

Good stuff.

Seriously good stuff.

So I got to meet Meg and Joe.

Meg more jacked than I thought.

Joe much taller than I thought.

Really?

Really?

How short do you think he was, dude?

No, dude, dude.

No,

I actually thought he was smaller than I

thought.

Yeah.

He is a very small man.

Like jacked.

Yeah.

And the nicest guy ever.

But I would not say taller than I

thought.

Meg is not as mean as she is

in the chat.

so she's worse no no she is she

is a delight in person but i can

like i said this to them straight up

you you meet people online and when you

know you're going to meet them in person

you wonder like is it going to be

are they going to meet expectations or not

absolutely joseph and meg far exceeded my

expectations yeah man they were just

wonderful human beings

And the way Meg,

they went to Whole Foods to eat all

the time, right?

She comes back with a sandwich like yay

thick.

Somehow she got her mouth the whole way

around that thing.

Good job, Meg.

And ate it like it was her job.

That's actually what I did Thursday

whenever I got into Kansas.

I went to Whole Foods and got some

stuff off the hot bar because if you've

never gotten stuff,

food from the hot bar at Whole Foods,

you are missing out because those people

had their stuff together.

It is amazing.

So I kind of took the...

I kind of took a different approach this

year.

I really was laid back about kind of

everything.

I didn't want to stress out about all

the stuff I, and the first,

the first day or two at the masters,

I was trying to get some content of

like Carolyn and Jamie.

And I put out a reel of Jamie

stuff and I got one going for Carolyn.

Um, and hopefully it'll be out today.

But I started that at the,

at the individualist.

I was like, you know what?

You have this guy, Ishmael, uh,

E captures best in the business.

Why are you trying to even remotely

compete with him?

Yeah.

And, uh, and so then I just said,

you know,

I'm going to sit back and enjoy the

games and I'm going to watch it.

Cause what do I do really?

What is my role to talk,

to talk about what I see.

So why try to capture it all with

a camera?

And I just want to show a couple

of shots that, that Ishmael took.

Yes, please.

Um, this picture that he did,

I don't know if you can see it.

Well,

he took three pictures and layered them of

Dallin hitting the buzzer.

That's awesome, dude.

Like I could never do anything close to

that.

Why the hell,

why the hell would I even try?

And then, dude,

one of the reasons I couldn't sleep when

I got home yesterday was because this

carousel of pictures of the champ and her

entourage is like half a million views

right now.

It's going to get more than that.

And how many,

the likes are like in an insane, like,

twenty-two thousand nine hundred likes.

Likes, not views,

not actual people harking it.

Yeah, people going, no, no, no,

that looks fantastic.

And my notifier would not stop the entire

time.

And at the same time,

he put out the MailChimp,

him and his wife.

Oh, I haven't seen these.

Him and his dad.

That's outstanding.

And these are at like three hundred

thousand views with nine thousand likes.

when you look at the insights and you

see how many times these have been

forwarded shared saved reposted it is a

i've never been a part of a viral

thing before yeah right and it is really

really crazy that's amazing um and so and

he was doing it all week he did

here's a real levonica greer finishing

Coming right at you.

Here's pictures of just randomness from

the weekend.

Oh, Patty.

Like, I can't do that.

Well, and again,

why would you when you have him there

to do that?

Right.

Instead of...

If I am busy taking pictures,

I am not busy being in the moment.

Right.

So I really just put my camera down

and said,

I'm going to let him do his thing.

Yeah.

And I'm going to sit back and watch.

And then Saturday,

I took some time to watch the stream,

and I didn't go to the arena because

I wanted to know what that perspective was

like.

Right?

Because it's different.

So I really tried to be in the

moment and do all that.

And that was really, really cool.

Because it was very different for me.

I wasn't like trying to get to this

and trying to get to that.

Everybody was doing interviews.

I didn't need to do more interviews.

I just needed to do a show that

night or that next morning to talk about

it.

And so I really got a different.

You better talk about, hey,

I'm here and this is what I'm seeing.

Instead of just talking to people about

what just happened,

which is what ninety nine percent of the

rest of them is going to do anyway.

Yeah, percent.

Before we get into too much more, though,

my shirts came three hours before my

flight took off.

I saw that.

Or after my flight took off.

So I do have them here.

I've got a bunch of them.

If anybody is interested in getting a

Clydesdale Media shirt,

they are light blue.

They have the logo that you see.

It's kind of what you see behind me.

It's a little deeper blue than what that

sign is.

But it's that logo with Clydesdale over

the top,

media under the bottom in a circle-ish

manner.

What I need you to do is you

can,

they're going to be thirty two dollars and

that includes shipping.

Thirty two bucks shipped, baby.

And you can Venmo me.

at scott-soitzer-one.

And the last four of my phone,

if they ask it, is six, eight, four,

nine.

And then in the memo, put your name,

your address, and the size.

That would be helpful.

You do that.

And then I will ship them out.

I'll start shipping them out as soon as

I get orders.

They're all here.

I bought all the shipping materials.

So it's all ready to go.

Uh, we just have to,

or if you don't have Venmo and you

are like cash app,

my cash app name is the dollar sign.

S W I T Z Thor T H

O R. Oh, okay.

um so and thirty two dollars shipped that

includes everything to your door just um

men sizing or i i'm assuming it's unisex

shanna i yeah they did not ask me

for men or women i just picked a

bunch of sizes so

I like that.

Can I get one that says hater of

DDSP on the back?

And Vicky, who's in the background,

said you can buy the letters and iron

them on the back.

So...

get to we get to check in we

get our stuff right at monster games and

we got two shirts um one of them's

very very nice like that soft uh poly

blend um like expensive first form shirt

and the other one's a regular cotton first

form shirt also very nice and they give

us our names to be able to be

heat pressed on there and you can go

bring them to the thick boy booth and

he would press them on there for you

right so did that all that thursday

of dudes in my age group brandon williams

who's an absolute treat like i love that

dude so much he is he's super kind

he's unbelievably fit and he just seems to

be on his own planet most of the

time right he shows up i think it

was saturday it was either i don't know

if it was friday or saturday when i

saw him but like when you bring it

to thick boy they put your name on

the back right got leonard written across

the back of mine

Brandon shows up,

the shirt's got Monster Games logo all the

way across the front of it.

And then right here across the top,

it says Williams.

I said, Brandon, what?

He said,

I used the iron in my room and

I just put it on myself.

Messed up the S right here a little

bit.

He's just running around with Williams

right across the front.

And it's on the top, dude.

It almost looks like a soccer jersey from

a really low South American league where

they have just decals and stuff just

written all over it.

Or like a...

like a racing jersey or a racing shirt

where they just have all the sponsor

stuff.

But we just got Williams written across

the front.

So we were laughing because of that.

He was laughing because of that.

The next day, John Gleich,

who is the fittest guy to never make

the games,

rolls up and he's got Gleich on Sunday

written across.

I said,

you just couldn't help yourself or what?

He's like, I mean,

it's different than everybody else's.

It looks pretty cool.

Well,

the games jerseys were name on the front.

Yeah, but probably, yeah, but like here.

No, they were up more.

Yeah, probably not.

It looked almost like, you know,

you've seen the people with the neck

tattoos or the no regerts.

That's what it reminded me of.

Because it was right here.

Because it was right there at his

neckline.

Like it wasn't right here and blazing

across the chest.

It was right here.

It looked fantastic, dude.

Oh.

Vicky said she's just going to drive down

to your house and pick hers up.

That's fine.

That is fine.

Anyway.

uh no regerts yeah that is one of

my favorite movies of all time oh dude

i did i get to meet tyson i

did not which is probably for the best

because god only knows what happened scott

would have been bear down yeah yeah i

yeah it just i wanted to be with

my friends at the masters games yeah

sure and and that took precedence over it

all i you know getting to see carolyn

win was awesome i can't even imagine dude

my my only my only beef is that

i didn't get to see no win because

they were going at the same time yeah

um but i thought i don't know if

you saw carolyn's instagram and um

She got a picture with Noah,

the two champs of the thirty five to

thirty nine.

It's pretty cool.

Like two multiple time CrossFit Games

athletes.

Winning the thirty five to thirty nine.

Good for them, man.

Good for them.

I'm happy for Noah, bro.

I really, really am.

I've never been the hugest fan of him

necessarily,

but I know how hard it is to

get to where he's at, right?

And how hard he's been trying for so

long just to be able to do,

you know,

to be able to stand on top of

that podium and coming close,

but never actually hitting it.

So good for him for knocking it out

over the weekend.

He was so cool with everybody at the

Masters games.

He just was walking around as part of

the community,

which is the coolest part of the Masters

games.

All the athletes just walk around and hang

out.

What was super cool is on Thursday,

the last day,

some of the athletes were coming in.

Not athletes,

but the coaches and stuff were coming in.

I used to,

Cole Sager was at the Masters Games

coaching.

Fisa Goff,

he came over and hung out because of

Scott.

It just was really cool to see these

other athletes come over and do all that

kind of stuff.

Yeah,

David Johnson sent me a picture of him

and Lito together.

That was pretty cool.

He goes, you know this chick?

And I said, I know who she is.

I don't know her,

but I definitely know who that is.

She's hard to miss.

That top five finish?

Dude, she killed it.

I think she took fourth, right?

I want to say that is correct, yeah.

Yeah, she's just awesome.

I think from the time I met Leto

till now,

she is increasingly getting more and more

fit, which is hard to believe.

Yeah.

But it was cool.

I saw her and her husband.

I met them a year ago at the

Columbus Games,

and it was really fun seeing them.

Yeah, I met Wayne Short,

who's been in the chat for a long

time now.

He actually gave me my plan for next

season.

Oh, okay.

Mark Phillips is saying she got fifth,

not fourth.

She got fifth.

She was in fourth for a minute,

so she must have fell back in that

DT workout.

And then Jamie in that DT workout, dude,

she gives me a,

I told her this exact quote, like,

it's hard to keep my AFib at bay

watching you compete.

She missed the final rep of DT.

The final rep.

And then she went to,

to pull the bar off the ground to,

to complete it.

And then just dropped it.

Like, like, you know,

when someone lifts it goes, no,

that's too heavy and just drops it again.

And then she finally picks it up and

finishes it.

And it ended up moving her from eighth

to eleventh.

That, that missed rep.

That missed rep alone because that's how

tight it was at that spot.

And for her to come in where she

did in a games where she was hurt

was freaking phenomenal.

She's a whole different species, dude.

She really is.

It's ridiculous.

Shout out to Carolyn one more time.

She's unreal.

She really is.

She is.

Mackenzie Riley and her were going

toe-to-toe most of the weekend,

and it was fun to watch, dude.

So fun.

Again,

two former games athletes just going

toe-to-toe.

Shannon got to arm wrestle Travis Bajan.

Did she win?

I don't know.

Shannon gave me a hug.

I got to tell the story.

So she thought I didn't like hugs,

but she gave me a hug anyway when

we first met.

And I'm like,

I don't have a problem with hugs per

se, right?

I'm just a big guy.

And like,

I'm worried that I'm going to come on

as a creeper or whatever if I try

to hug on people.

So I'm very reluctant to hug because I

just don't know how people feel.

Sure.

So we were at the SAP Center,

and Shannon and I were talking for like,

twenty minutes,

having a really good conversation.

And she goes, okay, I'm going to go.

I'm like, well,

now we're going to do a hug.

Now that I know that, like, it's okay,

we're going to do a hug.

She squeezed me so tight.

Like, that woman is strong.

Oh, I bet.

And she said, yeah,

I did that to Dave Castro one time,

and he said too tight,

so I went harder.

too tight.

Okay.

Oh, Jeremy, you jackass.

uh don't worry about him most bear fans

yeah i did a show with him in

the glintons the other night yeah i know

right after you left yeah i was on

jeremy's internet so like i kept going in

and out just being down there um i

was literally in in their basement and i

have i have connections i wouldn't have

connection i would have connection i

wouldn't have connection and i needed to

honestly i need to get to bed anyway

because i was getting up shortly after

that

And yeah, I'll forget who it was.

Somebody texted me later and it was like,

Scott came in right after you left.

No big deal.

I was like, sweet, even better.

Yeah.

We actually had some really interesting

conversations.

Oh, I love those people, dude.

Every time I go on there, it's fantastic.

It was about like...

should you put an asterisk on different

game seasons and stuff like that it was

really good if you didn't see it glint

and things sunday night no sunday yes

sunday night sunday night yep um can you

pull up the sean in oregon one vicky

the one you start there we go the

stands look somewhat empty empty on the

youtube stream what was the crowd like for

the events it was not empty in that

arena

First of all, you have to remember,

this is the largest arena the CrossFit

Games have ever been in.

So the lower bowl on Saturday and Sunday

were pretty well full.

And the center sections up above in the

upper deck were three quarters full.

And I would say the seats that were

the least full were the finish line seats,

which would have been the most expensive

ones.

Which had tracks, right?

Yeah.

It was really,

really much larger than last year for

sure.

I was in Albany.

It was way less last year.

Way less.

And the vibes in there were freaking

awesome.

It was loud.

loud that forward backward roll to support

got so loud in there that's what somebody

was saying this morning uh was that that

was probably the thing that the crowd was

most hyped for was that one or at

least seemed like it was making the most

noise for i'm gonna tell you this dude

watching it from home

or from where I was anyway,

just watching it on TV.

That was wild to watch,

both in terms of just what they were

doing, first of all,

which is insane in and of itself.

I kept thinking like every time somebody

would fail one, I was like,

if I would try that,

my arm would still be attached.

Right?

Like, and by still be attached, I mean,

like,

my hand would still be attached to the

ring and the rest of me would be

on the ground at some point,

because my shoulder would just come

completely separated from my body.

And then watching people figure it out in

the middle of the workout was just,

it's incredible.

Like, it's...

know we say oh it's unbelievable it almost

was unbelievable to actually see that take

place in real time where all of a

sudden you know you hear chase or somebody

say oh they figured it out and you

kind of see it at the same time

like oh yeah they just figured it out

okay i got this now the front the

forward roll was one thing but that

backward roll to support holy smokes dude

that was insane

Or even like Lucy got one.

Lucy Campbell got one.

And how excited she was to get one

was crazy.

And I was going to say this,

John George, who jumped in.

Pat Vellner had to do his fall from

something.

Pat Vellner.

So I was thinking about this earlier.

Yeah.

pat velner almost recreated every single

epic fail moment he's had what since being

a games athlete in this weekend like the

only thing that that would have come in

that that had been better is if he

came in last on the run completely just

just strolled in looking behind him to see

if anybody else was coming he fell off

the rings and what multiple times twice

not just once yeah

um and what's crazy is he was really

good at it like he was he was

in contention to win the thing and still

fell off twice yeah his pedal fell off

on the bike within what like like he

had the most pad and then he wins

this deadlift event like he he had the

most pad builder weekend possibly dude

possible i i

I got to say this, man.

The grace that they showed him and the

standing ovation that he got in the arena

was freaking awesome.

Good dude.

Yeah, he took a year off.

Yeah, he had some thoughts,

but he came back and he was welcomed,

and it was freaking awesome.

He is a legend, an OG,

and he deserved every bit that he got.

Won two freaking events again.

It was awesome.

And I want to say this too,

when we're talking about like kind of the

reconciliation and comeback of things,

Matt Fraser,

how about Matt Fraser being there,

participating,

doing an event announcement,

but picking one of the workouts that got

up for the poll for the hopper needing

to shave his beard.

Awesome.

Didn't he shave his beard?

Dude,

he got out there and it's just like,

this giant like he looked like somebody's

uncle but that only you see at certain

certain events at and holidays and whatnot

and i understand like that his level of

give a is probably pretty low at this

point right when it comes to stuff like

that but like he just him being out

here's matt fraser and the camera went to

him and i was like holy smokes he

looks homeless like hey man

I'm going to need you to just trim

it up some, dog.

That's it.

That's all you really need to do.

He can look however he wants.

He won the games five times.

The fact that he was there.

Yeah, I know.

The fact that he participated.

Good for him, dude.

The fact that he let bygones be bygones.

Yep.

You're a parent.

have a pull-up i don't know if you

guys can see it um this is new

to the show uh matt's beard yay or

nay um when you become a father like

your perspective on things just changes

yeah absolutely

And it just seemed like Matt was in

a different headspace.

Let bygones be bygones and let's go have

fun.

I will say this, dude.

He genuinely looked like he was having fun

when he was on.

He looked happy, calm, peaceful,

whatever you want to call it.

Just making the announcement,

doing the things that he was doing out

there.

He looked like happy Matt,

which is not something we're necessarily

used to seeing at this point, right?

Good stuff.

Jeremy says,

never took Corey as one who attacks

homeless people.

Hey, bro.

One of my best friends is the fittest

homeless dude I know.

It's fine.

Chris Real.

Where is it at?

Ken Walters.

It was a bummer more champions didn't make

it on the women's side, i.e.

daughters.

What's crazy is like, first of all,

and I said this on one of the

weekend shows, it bummed me out that,

okay, Rich's plane got delayed,

but we didn't know that in the arena.

Yeah.

when they knew that they should have put

up the placard on the Jumbotron,

like they did for every other champion

said,

Rich was trying to make it as playing

got delayed so that you knew why he

wasn't there.

It wasn't a protest.

It wasn't, it wasn't,

I just couldn't get it in time.

Right.

Out of all the people,

people were shitting on like less, maybe,

maybe,

maybe you want to give Rich Froning a

little bit of grace that like, yeah, dude,

I'm coming.

Like took a step to like, yeah, it,

They could have mitigated that.

Sam Briggs was there all weekend,

but something made it so she couldn't be

there.

I don't know what that reason was,

but she was there over the weekend.

But I mean, life happens.

So.

Meg.

Well,

after hanging out with Joseph and his

beard, Matt has to clean it up.

Maybe Matt saw Joseph's beard.

like at some point and is growing it

out so that he can put the braids

in it.

Maybe that's what it is.

I'm going to give the man some grace

and say that that's where he's going.

He saw Joseph's beard and he's like,

you know what?

That's a great look.

I'm going for that.

Him and Joseph are about the same size,

roughly.

I'm sure Matt's probably a little taller,

but I mean, whatever.

No, where is it at?

They didn't do that for any of the

champions that didn't show up.

But Andrew, Rich was trying to show up.

That's the difference.

His plane got delayed.

The whole plan was for him to be

there and to participate.

They could have let the crowd know why.

There's too much drama in CrossFit to let

that just out there and for people to

wonder.

Yep.

I agree.

If you never plan to come,

I get it.

Don't put his up because of the others.

Yeah, if he just flat turned him down,

that's one thing, dude.

But like OPT was there for Christ's sake.

Jody, Julie Gentry?

Jolie Gentry.

Jolie Gentry.

It's a combination of the two.

Yeah, it is.

It's like Jody and Judy in the chat

that everybody gets mixed up,

which it's really Jolie.

Jolie Gentry, OPT.

Andrew Sten, disagree.

CrossFit people need to just not read so

much into things.

And we can all go to Narnia and

hang out with Azul the Lion or whatever

and do all the fun stuff.

That ain't ever going to happen.

No.

It's a knee-jerk reaction.

I guarantee,

especially all the people watching at home

and then somebody says something in the

comments.

and that's a wrap all of a sudden

everybody's just piling on oh which didn't

come oh rich didn't come rich didn't come

didn't come blame southwest or delta or

whoever like i'm pretty sure again if

anybody is going to deserve a little bit

of grace it's probably the the uh

patriarch of the mayhem empire mr rich

from junior

aslan that's correct mark sorry i'm over

fifty five now i get i have the

right to mispronounce names moving forward

yeah look andrew andrew owning it right

there got it andrew said sorry just me

hoping people actually act like mature

adults my mistake brother

It's an unfortunate fact that people are

not going to act like adults.

So I shook Andrew's hand on Wednesday,

maybe.

And, you know,

him and I have been going back and

forth for weeks prior to Legends at

running the Masters.

I let him take a shot.

I was there.

I'm like,

I'm right here in front of you.

Let's go.

But we just shook hands and took the

Matt Rich picture.

Oh, yeah, the completely not staged.

Yeah.

We're friends.

It's fine.

We've moved on.

I know someone mentioned,

I wish they would have,

I think it was Sean in Oregon,

wish they had done a tribute to Pat

like they did for Brooke Wells.

And I hated the Brooke Wells one.

Yeah, I did too.

So I would have rather had that one

deleted than to have another one because

you never know when it's going to be

your last games.

No.

You know,

it's very rare that someone announces,

hey, this is my final run and blah,

blah, blah.

But Brooke was the meanest person to the

third-party media in the history of

CrossFit.

And then you do this big tribute.

We were all puking in the back.

So I don't know.

I would have rather deleted it.

You could have had...

A Pat,

like an actual Patrick with just a bunch

of clips from interviews,

like the thing of him coming in from

the runs when one at the end,

everybody's saying they wish there was a

video.

They,

they announced it like this is his last

run as he was leaving the floor for

the last time they made a big freaking

deal about it.

Yeah.

When he won the one event,

they talked about it being his last run

and why it was important to do it

in front of his two sons and his

wife being there.

He got flowers and love the whole weekend.

The video thinks just lame.

I don't know.

I think his, in particular,

could have been entertaining just from all

the stuff.

Like,

you could have just put a blooper reel

up.

Him chasing the plate across the floor

during Aeneas when it's just in the

background and you see a yellow plate and

then Pat, oh, no,

I got to get my, like...

falling off the cargo net, coming in,

just looking behind him and see if anybody

else was trying to run up behind him

on the run, swim, run.

Like all of the things, dude.

And plus all the highlight stuff that he

did, like walking off after the...

But we all have that vivid in our

memories.

They announced...

Because now it's in a montage.

As he was leaving the floor for the

last time, hey, everybody, Pat Vellner,

legend in the sport,

heading off the floor and they it was

a standing ovation yeah like to me that's

the best tribute ever I don't need to

see all the video footage again yeah I'm

going to agree to disagree on that one

whatever he doesn't read books Jeremy it's

fine yeah there you go and yes

And the weekend was so positive and there

was so much fun stuff.

And it was,

it really came off well in the arena.

Like to nitpick that Pat didn't get a

video is just looking for something to

hate on.

No, I don't think, yeah, that's,

I think that's kind of sick.

A hundred percent.

you're just gonna nitpick that one thing

like oh they didn't give pat a tribute

video they gave one to to uh brooke

whatever who by the way wasn't finished

competing because she went and did wfp

after that but yep and rogue and rogue

anyway the only person to ever be honored

with a video was brooke matt fraser won

five in a row

in a row and they didn't they didn't

say shit whenever he left it was like

hey matt fraser and we knew that was

his last one like it wasn't a oh

maybe sort of kind of whatever no no

no so daniel arnson looking for something

to hate is my job and that's why

he hands out the dumb dumb stupid pants

awards ddsp baby

There it is.

Shanna said she was bawling in the stands

when he left the floor.

I remember back in the day,

like Stacey Tovar just took her shoes off

and left them on the floor and walked

off.

Like that's how it was done back in

the day.

So didn't Tia leave her shoes on the

floor and came back and won three more?

Or she came back, put them back on,

tied them up.

I was just kidding.

Just joking, y'all.

Sorry.

So here's the question.

After watching Amy absolutely decimate the

field all weekend,

what's going to happen next year?

well if you listen to um is it

ari ari metosian interviewed her and asked

her if she was coming back and she

said after she saw what amy was doing

it might be fun to compete against her

ari ari had some of the best interviews

when he asked colton what he had for

breakfast and then colton just answered

him yeah that was so awesome dude avi

avi avi yeah i uh

we've i've talked about this all weekend i

don't i don't know if i'm if i'm

tia i don't know if that's i don't

know if i want that smoke i think

tia does want that smoke if she is

okay if she's the competitor that

everybody has built her up in their brains

to be myself included right as a

competitor i don't want to go and come

and beat

for lack of a better word, scrubs.

I don't want to go beat the B

team.

I don't want to go beat.

I want to beat the best on the

floor, period.

And especially somebody like her, like,

and dominate them, not just beat them.

Like,

I want to beat the crap out of

them.

She ain't dominating Amy Kringle.

I don't think she will either.

But what I'm getting at is that without

taking the floor again,

she's never going to have the opportunity

to see and to really test herself.

How many points did she win the last

game?

Five.

I don't know.

Vicky will find it.

I have no idea.

A hundred points, two hundred points,

whatever.

A hundred, two hundred points, right over.

The last one's before that.

Two hundred somewhat odd points, right?

It's never been in question.

Well, other than Cara.

Other than Cara.

The two-point victory over Cara.

Which is her first time winning.

And she had one other down year where

it wasn't quite as big a gap.

Right.

Once.

So that's two out of eight?

Mike DeVito,

I'm not saying she would mop the floor

with her,

but Tia is in no way afraid of

the smoke.

I'm team Amy all day,

but Tia said her hands are rated E

for everyone.

I just, I, listen,

do I think Amy wins if they go

head to head?

I don't know.

I think it's actually an epic battle.

I think that's the thing that's going to

get people is that they don't know.

Right?

So if you don't know,

now it's intriguing again.

My argument to everybody is she's now the

mother of two children.

Sure.

Right?

Which is going to take priority.

She also is another year older.

She'll be two years older since the last

time she took the floor.

Age is undefeated.

I don't disagree.

So to apply just because she's been

dominant forever to the future is

irresponsible.

And the one thing that Amy showed is

she doesn't have deficit handstand pushup

problems like somebody else.

No, she does not.

She showed no weakness.

No.

What was her biggest weakness?

Her back squat?

Okay.

Moving right along.

There you go.

A hundred and eighty points in twenty

twenty five hundred fifty one points in

twenty twenty four.

What Amy went by a hundred and twenty.

Yeah.

Something like that.

That doesn't tell the whole story because

the top three were two hundred points

ahead of the rest of the rest of

the field.

Sure.

And then she beat them by another one

twenty.

I just want to be honest,

if you watch that final event,

she's just trying to be clean.

Oh, that's it.

She was not trying to do...

She was not trying to hurt herself at

all.

None whatsoever.

Like, nope.

This is in the bag.

I just don't need to do...

I don't need to fumble this bag.

That's it.

I don't need to do anything stupid,

hurt myself, or I can't complete it.

That's basically all there is to it.

I just... Two kids or not,

and I don't disagree that it takes some

time away as far as that's concerned,

but she's still Tia Tickler to me.

To be the best, what do they say,

Scott?

To be the best,

you got to beat the best?

I want to see it.

Personally, I want to see it.

Okay, you want to see it.

I don't.

I want to see it.

Look, this is the stuff that gets me,

right?

I have to address this.

I will bet you right now that she

wins next year.

That's Tia.

That Amy had twenty events.

Why is Amy having twenty events in

advantage of

She over twenty events showed zero holes.

They threw everything at the but the

kitchen sink at her.

Right.

And she never there was new stuff they

didn't even know about.

And she was crushing it.

Yep.

More Phillips got a point.

She's very, very well prepared.

But I want to see,

like what Meg's saying,

I want to see a fight.

I want to see a fight too.

I'm just telling you,

analytically looking at it,

I think Kringle gives her everything she

wants.

A hundred percent.

Which would make for a hell of a

show.

This is the true thing.

Is Tia willing to lock it down?

Because she will need to lock it down

for another year.

as a mother of two with a thriving

business is she is she willing to lock

it down for another year that's a huge

commitment you know how much content we'd

have oh my gosh so let me ask

you this do you think tia makes an

announcement one way or another the next

next few weeks

She's never made an announcement ever

about anything.

We already know when the open is.

Well, if she signs up for the open,

then that's the announcement.

I don't think we'll get anything other

than that.

Winning with a hundred plus points is

easier with twenty events than with ten in

that you need to be a lot more

dominant with ten events.

That's why I think Tia wins.

Leo's not wrong.

If you've got a smaller amount of events,

you can make fewer mistakes.

Fewer fumbles.

Okay, tell me the mistake that Amy made.

Oh, no, I'm not disagreeing with you.

She was a hundred points ahead way before

the twentieth event.

On like day two.

Like halfway to day two.

Just point to the event where she showed

a weakness where she wouldn't be dominant.

The five hundred meter sprint was so

impressive.

Like that's all I'm asking.

She dog walked everybody.

It wouldn't even, it wouldn't even,

it wouldn't even, gosh, just,

just take the ranch run and the sprint.

Yeah.

She won five events before day two was

done before.

Yeah, she did.

The winning by a hundred points Lito also

has a lot to do with your competition.

Well, I think,

I don't think Lito is necessarily like

trying to poke holes in Amy's thing,

but for either one of them,

it doesn't matter if it's Tia or if

it's Amy at this point,

It's way different with ten events than it

is with twenty.

I get what she's saying.

I hear you.

But those three women, Lucy, Emma,

and Amy,

had a two hundred point lead on the

field midway through Saturday.

Yeah.

They separated themselves.

Everybody else was fighting for top five

at that point.

And that was way more competition in the

top three than Tia ever had other than

twenty seventeen.

Yeah.

And she still beat them by one twenty.

And she had the hundred point lead halfway

through Saturday, which was insane.

Like it of itself.

Tia has nothing to prove,

but it would be great for the sport

if she does.

CrossFit wins if those two go head to

head.

This is what I'm going to say,

Peter CrossFit only wins if they take

advantage of it.

Oh, absolutely.

I've been taking crap for this.

CrossFit should have known Amy had the

potential to be at least a top five

competitor and marketed her before this

game.

The fact that women's fitness put her on

the cover of a magazine before she won

the games shows that they are more in

tune with what is happening in CrossFit

than CrossFit themselves.

So it's all well and good.

And I said that CrossFit did nothing to

market her.

And I got a message last night showing

me the road to the games with Kringle,

Lightfoot and Clemens.

It was a twenty five minute road to

the games that Amy was in for like

five minutes.

And probably just because she was training

partners with Harry.

It's ridiculous how little that they

pushed her.

I'm so sick of the CrossFit media just

rehashing what we've already seen.

So, okay, Tia comes back.

How is it going to be marketed?

If she comes back,

it should be monthly releases of the two

of them training leading up to it.

It's Rocky III.

Yeah, Jeremy says something about Rocky V.

That doesn't even exist in my mind.

No, but it's Rocky III.

Yeah, Rocky III or IV.

Or IV, either one.

Tia's the Russian, and Amy is Rocky.

Yeah.

She doesn't look like a superhero.

That's a fact.

CrossFit HQ is about to be in their

feelings if they watch this.

It's the truth.

It is.

It's the truth.

If she dies, she dies.

Yeah, Tia would say that.

I was about to say Tia would say

that.

If she dies, she dies.

That is absolutely fantastic.

It's absolutely fantastic.

And it's true.

I think it would be good.

Let's talk.

Can we talk about James?

We got enough time to talk about James

right quick.

Like if for no other reason than the

fact that I just want to bring this

up.

Well, I got to get to work,

but can we do this tomorrow or is

it something that you have to say?

It's in my head.

I just want to give a shout out

to James because he is the first male

in the history of the games to win

two titles and not do it in back-to-back

years.

And that has got to be,

if that's not noteworthy,

I don't know what is.

Because everybody else who's won multiple

titles,

and there's really only two people, right?

It was Rich and Matt.

They went on these runs.

James wins, comes back next year,

doesn't win, comes back a year after that,

and wins again.

And in a dogfight the entire time with

Dallin, especially on that last day.

um that is just unbelievably impressive i

was anyway i don't know i don't know

the significance of winning different

years the reason that matt and rich didn't

do is because they just never lost like

you'd have to lose one to do it

So there's a different perspective to

that.

One,

I think James just proved he's really damn

fit,

and it's going to take a perfect games

to beat him.

He proved that there shouldn't be an

asterisk next to his name for his first

win?

I don't believe in asterisks.

Ask Jeremy.

We had this debate the other night.

I just thought that was – just because

nobody's done it.

again it's because he lost last year that

he was able to do it right yep

so it's more impressive to me that matt

won five rich one four justin one two

yeah it's just that that's the first time

that happened

I don't know.

We can get into that tomorrow because I

know you got to go.

But like the parody in the sport is

kind of starting to finally show up a

little bit in my mind anyway because of

the more dogfighting type stuff.

Somebody wins, they lose, they come back,

they win again within three years.

I like that a lot.

Let's get the if she dies,

she dies thing off there.

All right.

Well,

I got to nothing I wrote down to

talk about today other than T-shirts are

here.

Venmo me at scott-schweitzer-one with your

name, address, and size in the memo.

And the last four of my phone number

that thirty two dollars covers the whole

thing scott will handle it for free i

will handle the shirt for nothing because
