What is Clydesdale Media Podcast?

We cover the sport of CrossFit from all angles. We talk with athletes, coaches and celebrities that compete and surround in the sport of CrossFit at all levels. We also bring you Breaking News, Human Interest Stories and report on the Methodology of CrossFit. We also use the methodology to make ourselves the fittest we can be.

I am less than twenty-four hours away from

vacation,

meaning no work for eight freakin' days.

From the gym to the screen, yeah,

we cover it all.

Midday motivation every time you press

call.

Lunch with the Clydesdale.

Cowboy bring the heat.

Crossfit movies, music on repeat.

Half hour hustle, yeah,

we building that brand.

Grab a plate, tune in now,

you part of the fam.

It's lunch time.

have a little extra gusto today because

like i only have four more hours of

work to get out of my workplace for

eight days so i got a little more

juice in the in the tank man love

to see it love to see it good

deal brother yes tessa yes cowboy and me

singing

Scott doing his Andrea Botticelli

impression.

Ooh, that was operatic.

Thank you very much.

Because opera is definitely my favorite

style of music.

It's jazz and then opera.

Like, it's right there.

It's pretty much like one and one A.

I wasn't going to talk about this,

but I got to talk about this.

So like, so I'm,

I'm on day of my lessons straight.

Oh yeah.

My drum lessons.

Right.

And every day I feel like I'm getting

better.

And so every day is three different

classes.

And, and the first two,

you feel like I'm, I'm,

I'm nailing this thing.

And in the third class, every single day,

they hit you with something that you're

like, son of a bitch.

what is this yeah you're just like good

gravy and uh absolutely and so now i'm

actually learning a song i don't think

it's a real song i think they made

it up themselves it's very simple it's

just like the money groove over and over

again on different parts of the drum but

the transition is a um there it is

The transition is like you have to crash

the cymbal and then get back to the

groove on a different part of the drum.

And like yesterday,

I had like eighteen left feet and the

transitions were not going well.

And this morning I decided on my break,

I'd come down and just rerun that class

again.

All of a sudden today, magic.

I love it.

It just all of a sudden it went

like,

and it reminds me a lot of CrossFit

when you first start and like trying to

learn like the overhead squat and you've

got to do like,

eighteen different things to make this

overhead squat successful.

And if you don't do one of the

eighteen right, it's done.

Show me your armpits.

Lock out your arms.

Make sure your back's straight.

Like, lumbar curve.

Squat.

Spin your... Oh, man.

All the things going on.

I would probably akin it to trying to

figure out double unders.

Because that's what it would equate as far

as I'm concerned.

Like...

Okay, so I know you've been jumping rope.

Now what I want you to do is

spin it under your feet twice.

I'm sorry, do what?

Yeah, yeah.

No, you heard me.

You're going to jump once,

rope goes twice.

Oh.

And in the same manner,

like once you get it once and you

know what it's supposed to feel like,

then all of a sudden you're like,

why was it so hard?

Well, yeah, first bar muscle up.

Right.

First double under, right?

You get, okay.

Now I know like what the jump's supposed

to feel like,

what the whip of my wrist is supposed

to feel like.

Now it comes better, right?

And it's the same way with the drums.

It's knowing like what limb do I lead

with on this beat to get it to

then get into what the muscle memory takes

over.

But anyway, I'm having a ball with it,

dude.

I'm so glad I did this because it's

giving me so much fun.

And it's way cheaper than a convertible.

Way, way cheaper than a convertible.

And way, way cheaper than more Legos.

Yes.

Good Lord, yes.

Oh,

did you see the thing I sent earlier

about Legos?

I just like,

so Corey sent me a thing this morning.

It was on Instagram that people are trying

to find ways to buy whatever Lego kit

they buy, whether it's a flower,

whether it's a Jeep, whether it's a,

a Pelican,

I don't like the statue of Liberty.

You somehow can convert that to the

millennium Falcon.

They can blame Falcon out of whatever kit

you got.

Way too much time on their hands.

Absolutely agreed.

Absolutely agreed.

I just thought it was cool because I

was like, they're Legos.

They're building blocks.

I know that you bought it because it's

supposed to be a thing,

but you can technically make whatever the

hell you want.

I don't know if you know how Legos

work,

but you can do whatever the fuck you

want with them.

My thing is like,

some of them came out like they look

like the Millennium Falcon.

Others look like a Teemu version of the

Millennium Falcon.

And do I really want to waste my

kit to make it look like that shitty

version of the Millennium Falcon you came

up with?

Well, yeah.

I mean,

this is people who watch the Lego movie

like entirely too many times.

You're like,

I can make anything out of anything.

I'm a master builder.

And just go ahead and just go,

I can make the Millennium Falcon out of

whatever I wanted to.

Yeah, when the satellite is now a flower,

it just doesn't have the same effect.

It just doesn't quite, yeah.

The Lego PS One looking good, though.

I have the Nintendo.

It was not an easy build.

It's like right there.

Really?

It's a rectangle.

How is it not that hard,

that easy to do?

So the TV, actually,

you can hit a crank and it will

move the screen.

Oh, okay.

And Mario will like jump.

Yeah, that's the part that got.

And the legs of the TV somehow do

not stick well.

And every time I pick it up,

the legs fall off.

And then I'm like trying to balance it

and get the legs back on.

Our pet's heads are falling off!

And then I had this wise idea to

add lights to it that actually play the

theme music and everything.

Wow.

Yeah.

Dumb.

Literally, I am done.

I have like three non-built Legos.

I think that is it unless F-One comes

out with new cars.

Oh,

you can pretty much bet they're going to

come out with new cars at some point.

Yes, retired Steve.

But go ahead.

I was gonna say yes, retired Steve,

that is the Breaking Bad RV.

Complete with meth lab meth lab inside the

way this thing's amazing.

And trays of blue meth on the outside.

Yep.

Uh, reading done Lego done.

Yep.

I'm eliminating things from my life.

Mark Phillips.

One thing at a time.

One thing at a time.

It gives me a headache.

It's no longer worth my time reading.

That's it right out.

Sorry.

You take your reader's digest and put it,

send it back to the return to sender

and Legos,

which I've spent an absurd amount of money

on putting stuff together.

Nope.

Not doing that anymore.

What do you have?

That's not, that's unbuilt.

That's at the house.

So I have the Batman tumbler.

I have a Jeep that I've had a

while and just haven't put together yet.

It's a big one,

so it's going to take a little bit

longer.

And then I have like a nineteen sixties

Ferrari.

Nice.

Nineteen sixty five Ferrari GTV,

two seventy five GTV.

I'm not sure it's that specific model,

but sure.

That would be the one from Ferris Bueller.

Retired Steve,

it has Walt in his underwear.

Yeah.

Yeah.

They spared no expense.

I will say it is not a commissioned

Lego product.

Spare no expense.

Because I don't think Lego would endorse

the Breaking Bad.

Probably not so much the meth lab part

of it.

Now,

I do believe it is for children six

and up.

Well, there you go.

We had to talk about that when it

came out.

Yeah.

Uh, I got many Lego plants.

It's sincerely getting a bit out of hand,

but I'm also not stopping anytime soon

yet.

That's the problem.

Like,

so my big thing is I have a

lot of Batman stuff and I have a

lot of F one stuff.

Those are kind of the two realms that

I really dive into a lot.

And then I found ways to hang them

on the wall.

So like in our guest room,

I have the entire F one lineup and

I have a bunch of Batman cars on

the wall.

That's fantastic.

Come stay in Scott's Lego room.

That would be a feature if you had

a, like, you know,

people rent rooms out on, uh, well,

what is it?

Yes.

Yep.

No more.

No more Legos.

No more.

Yeah.

No more bricks.

No more Legos.

Uh,

Oh, good Lord.

Walk it out.

Why is it not coming to mind?

So a fake savant, uh,

Brixels are terrible.

You are correct.

I have both the beaver stadium from Penn

state and I have soldier field from,

for the bears and the pirate parrot and

a pirate helmet.

They're all awful.

but um so on air if you could

if you were renting out your your spare

room on airbnb you could market it as

the lego room and people would come want

to stay in that with the last place

we stayed um for legends last year in

in arizona was the uh it was covered

in gnomes there were gnomes inside there

were gnomes outside hell no um i don't

even know creepy gnomes looking at me

there was

There was one that was legitimately four

feet tall outside by the pool in the

backyard.

So a gnome taller than an actual gnome?

Yes.

The problem is that while we were looking

for it, Jennifer just said,

you just book something.

And I went, okay.

Careful what you wish for there.

It was nice.

It was ten minutes from the venue.

So I'm going to tell Mr.

DeLapp this one thing.

For the final time,

I am not a boomer.

I am a Gen Xer.

Yeah, same.

I am a Gen Xer boomer.

For sure.

For sure.

For sure.

All the way.

Oh, look at that.

Mr. C.J.

DePalma.

Scott says, no to neoms.

You know.

You know.

You know.

C.J., I am not a boomer.

No.

You have to be a hell of a

lot of a boomer at this point.

It's just because we're old enough to

bitch about shit, CJ.

That's really the only qualifying factor

at this point.

Congratulations on nailing that guy right

there, Mr. Tristan Patrick,

brand new coach for WOD Prep.

Yep.

One of the best in the business.

It doesn't surprise me at all.

You two philosophically mesh so well.

It only makes sense.

Absolutely.

Great hire.

Both have a very short tolerance for

bullshit.

And if you don't know who Tristan is,

he's been featured in a couple of my

documentaries.

Um, the,

I did an all access with Kelly Baker

and Emily Rolfe and Jamie Latimer and, uh,

and Tristan was coach for Kelly Baker at

the time.

And then we did the behind the scenes

with how to can you,

and at that time she,

he was her coach.

So yeah, he's been featured in a lot.

He,

him and I have had a lot of

conversations,

a lot of conversations about how weekends

are going.

So if that's the case,

then are we showcasing the athletes or are

we showcasing Tristan at this point?

Because he's like the one continuing

factor in all of this.

I thought it was a coincidence,

but maybe I just have a crush on

Tristan.

Oh, Coach Krispy Kreme.

And the year with Kelly Baker was the

wildest year.

because she was cut and then she was

not cut and one of my favorite interviews

then she almost got cut and non-cut a

second time yes it's my fate one of

my favorite interviews when she said when

she said i i thought i was out

so i went had a beer and a

burger last night and then like the next

event the next morning like she came out

crushed it was outstanding i remember that

uh clearly

My favorite video of that year was they

ran the five K and or the four

point six K, whatever it was.

Kelly,

Kelly entered North Park and she swung

wider than everybody and just hit the jets

and passed like five people going down.

Going down the football field at North

Park.

It was awesome.

I'm going to clear these folks right

quick.

I'm coming in hot.

other video from her because nothing she

makes nothing easy it was the final event

at the west coast semi-final final lap and

she has to carry a sandbag down the

floor she dropped it tripped over it and

all she had to really do is finish

to make the games and then because of

that it was all up in the air

whether she made it or not

Nothing easy, baby.

Nothing easy.

Nobody wants to do anything easy.

CJ, I like you.

I'll be honest with you.

I only was made aware of you a

couple years ago, like two years ago,

right before the Masters Games in

Columbus.

And now I'm very well aware of you

as my producer is your client.

And I know a lot of other people

in this chat that are your clients.

And so, yeah,

maybe there is a future to do a

documentary on some of those athletes.

Tristan does sound like a leading man in

a soap opera.

He brings the drama.

I can see the camera cutting to him

right before you go to commercial,

and he's just making like a blue steel.

All right,

before we dive into some of the CrossFit

stuff, you know,

the one thing I love more,

the one thing I will never cut out

of my life, like books and Legos,

is Jameis Winston.

Oh, God, yes.

Yes.

i can't get enough of james winston i'd

send it in the lunch group chat vicky

if you could pull it up bro it's

so good it's actually an interview with

cam scataboo it's actually a camp he just

happens to be in the background

somebody was saying like he's just using

the whole bottle like he's just if you're

out of trouble yeah i have it on

my on my laptop i can pull it

up real quick i don't know if that

was a one second or yep here we

go

Oh,

I think we just went on top of

each other.

There we go.

So I will.

I don't know if you guys can see

this.

I don't know which one of us.

Okay, it's me.

Sorry.

This is an interview with Cam Scataboo.

And in the background,

you see Jameis Winston.

And I will hit play.

And he is cloning himself like five

million times.

And the people on Get Up were saying,

you know that's expensive cologne,

so he probably doesn't need more than like

two squirts.

But he's going to town on the cologne.

And then the best response was,

he's cloning himself up in the background,

and you know Cam Scadaboo hasn't showered

in a month.

Look, Cam's still in pads and sweating.

Jameis has clearly,

like he didn't got out to shower,

he ain't got dressed, all that shit.

Cam's going home in his pads.

God, that's good.

I think we showed it on the show,

the free crab leg commercial that he did.

It's so good.

It's so good.

He's a free, right?

Free not enough.

Free not enough, baby.

I just cannot get enough Jameis Winston.

That is my dude.

I was in Tallahassee when he was at

Florida State.

Yeah.

His character arc is insane.

It's absolutely insane because, yeah,

he's basically a football priest at this

point.

He's praying with everybody,

whether they want him to or not,

on the field, during games,

after the games.

He's probably praying while he's putting

on that cologne right there,

which more power to him, man.

Knock yourself out.

You can't not like him at this point.

I'm sorry.

You just can't.

Because it's not put on.

It's obvious that it's not put on.

He's just walking around loving life.

So he got in trouble at Florida State

for two things.

One, for stealing crab legs,

which I do not blame him for.

If I'm a college kid and the lady

behind the counter at Publix hands me some

crab legs, probably going to go home.

And if you've ever watched the hard knocks

that Jameson was in and Tampa Bay,

that kid grew up poor.

Like as poor as poor can be.

I don't think he had indoor plumbing.

And so, like,

someone gives me some free crab legs,

sure, I'm going to take it.

Now,

he did do another thing where he stood

up at the lunch hall at FSU and

yelled obscenities about women.

Probably shouldn't have done that.

I would say, yeah.

Probably should have done that.

Ought not.

Ought not to do that.

Yeah, that's probably a thing.

I would say so.

But ever since then,

he has been nothing but a good dude.

Yeah.

Learn from that mistake.

And he has been a good dude.

Retired Steve,

he might be spraying that at Cam.

That is probably the guess.

Cam, Mel Cam, more than likely.

I saw something about Cam earlier that

said that pretty sure that he was born

with CTE and every hit that he takes

takes a little bit of it away.

That's why he runs the thing.

So he's like the Benjamin Button of CTE?

He's the Benjamin Button of CTE,

absolutely.

So I'm going to go ahead and write

that down and put my name next to

it.

Cam Scadaboo is the Benjamin Button of

CTE.

David Reed, there are semantics in this.

He did not steal the crab legs.

He was given them by the lady behind

the counter at Publix.

She thought she was doing him a favor.

I guarantee it.

She thought she was, she would, oh yeah,

nobody's going to care.

It's Cam.

He's the, uh, excuse me.

It's, it's my brain.

Uh, it's Jamis.

He's the quarterback.

He's doing, you know,

he's bringing Florida state to back to the

glory days and all that stuff.

I'm just going to give him some stuff.

Yeah, exactly.

He didn't steal.

They gave him free shit all the time.

Finally, Publix got grumpy.

Somebody at Publix saw it,

didn't appreciate it,

and then they sold him out.

David Reed, I am telling you,

every freaking Buckeye around this town

goes to Wendy's, gets free burgers.

They go to McDonald's and gets free shit.

They go to Macy's and get free shit.

You think if...

If anybody that got a recognizable face

that plays for LSU Tigers goes to a

sit-down restaurant,

they paying for their meal?

No, it's not happening.

They can go sit in any one of

these places around here.

As long as they're not going to the

dorm, they can go out to eat.

I guarantee you they get their meal

comped.

You think Jeremiah Smith has paid for

anything in three years?

Hell no.

Yeah.

When I was a swimmer at Ohio State

my freshman year,

They gave us clothes to wear.

You got better seats at restaurants.

If you had your OSU stuff on,

you got anything you wanted.

And that's why I always say, like,

if you're a college athlete,

treat the fans with respect.

Because if you do,

you will never have to pay for anything

in this town ever again.

Nope.

Like Leonard Fournette showing that like

handing down his jersey to the next player

at LSU and embracing the LSU Tigers all

the time.

Like Leonard Fournette is a god now.

And Joe Burrow talking about his time

there is never going to have to pay

for anything in Louisiana ever again.

No, this is good.

I don't know if for the for the

non tattooed crowd out there.

Tattoos are expensive.

They are extremely expensive.

So when you see college kids out there

and they are inked up from with full

sleeves, shit on their chest, their back,

all this other stuff,

they didn't pay for none of that.

They rolled up to the tattoo shop.

They knew they could go to.

Hey, man, I want to get this done.

And they either charge them nothing or

they charge them close to nothing for it

because they're walking advertisements at

that point.

here's another point to that too.

I don't blame the tattoo shop, right?

No.

I got my tattoo at the same place

that Justin Fields got his.

Right.

Because he was a Chicago bear at the

time.

And I wanted my tattoo done by the

same artist that did his.

Yeah.

You looked at it and you went,

that looks, that first of all,

it looks good.

And so clearly dude knows what he's doing

and you work on Chicago bears.

I'm a Chicago bear fan.

I'm going to you.

yeah it's marketing and so that how much

business has that tattoo shop owner got

because more than a little right because

he was known as the guy who did

justin fields and he did chase young and

he like he could list the buckeyes that

he had um tattooed yeah so yeah

People giving professional athletes free

meal and other things blows my mind.

People make way too much money to be

given so much stuff for free.

They're not asking for it for free, Stan.

That's the difference.

Nine times out of ten, I would,

let me not say nine times,

probably seven times out of ten,

they're just going in and they just want

to go and sit down and eat and

do whatever.

But people see them, they recognize them,

and if they're fans,

then it's a whole different ballgame at

that point.

I get three hours of enjoyment most of

the time every Sunday watching my Chicago

Bears.

Yeah.

I get three hours every Saturday watching

Penn State.

If I see a player and I'm hanging

out, sometimes it's just a thank you.

Like, hey, let me pick up that coffee.

Hey, let me pick up that lunch.

Yep.

Yeah, well, this is different.

This is different, Stan.

This I understand.

If you come in here and you act

like I'm supposed to give you something

for free, then yeah, you can get bent.

That's not going to happen.

My least favorite thing that is said by

a pro athlete or someone who thinks

they're famous is,

don't you know who I am?

The minute you say that, get bent.

Pound rocks, all that stuff.

That's my favorite.

Don't you know who I am?

Do you know who I am?

Like, that's my go-to.

No.

Why?

Do you know who I am?

Like,

are we having that kind of conversation

right now?

Fergie's got it down, man.

I get excited when the lunch lady gives

me an extra slice of Texas toast at

the commissary.

And she's probably giving you a little

wink and a smile too, buddy.

Let me tell you something.

When I get nuggets from Chick-fil-A that's

supposed to be an eight count and there's

nine in there, I am over the moon.

And I didn't even do that on purpose.

Right.

I'm like, bro,

I got nine nuggets in my, in my,

in my, uh, in my, my I'm, I'm,

I'm flipping out.

I love that kind of stuff.

Yeah,

that commissary lunch lady's calling him

baby too.

Here you go, baby.

Here you go, baby.

To be fair,

and I know Fergie's not from around here,

but we call everybody baby over here.

It don't much matter.

That lady at the grocery store checks me

out in the morning and says,

you have a good day, baby.

You too, baby.

We just walk out.

That's a Southern thing all the way

through and through.

Dude,

the extra fries from Five Guys is so

good.

And all it is is an illusion.

It's the same size all the time.

But because it's out of the little

container and in the bag, you think, wow,

I got extra.

Yeah.

And that Mr.

Doug Reed would Texas toast is always

something to get excited about.

That is correct.

That is how I met my wife.

You met your wife through Texas toast.

So I was a short order cook at

a diner.

She would come in for all you can

eat spaghetti night.

And I would give her an extra piece

of garlic, Texas toast on the side.

And now look at you.

And now, thirty years later.

Thirty years, baby.

Thirty years later.

All it took was some bread.

Which, to be fair,

I would follow people home for bread.

I'm a big bread fan.

If it's warm and fresh.

A little crusty.

Absolutely.

Free meals are fine.

It's when UNC gave cars and houses to

basketball players across the line.

Listen,

those colleges are making millions and

billions of dollars.

And those kids were basically free

entertainment.

If Brian Bosworth drove off in a brand

new Corvette, so be it.

Reggie Bush got a house for his parents,

so be it.

Now we look at it,

and we're paying ten million dollars,

twelve million dollars to a bad

quarterback at Michigan.

One of the biggest bullets LSU ever dodged

in the past five to ten years.

I can promise you that much.

If Chick-fil-A had Texas Toast, man,

they'd have a daily customer.

If Chick-fil-A had Texas Toast,

they'd print money.

They already print money,

but they would be printing even more money

if they had Texas Toast.

There'd be a line on Sundays waiting for

them to open on Monday.

Yeah,

if you would be camping out in the

parking lot.

Y'all serving that Texas toast for

breakfast?

I need some of that with some eggs

on it.

They used to make the best breakfast

burritos.

They still do.

They've changed them up a little bit.

It's still the best ones I've ever had.

The only ones that ever came close to

that was a Sonic Breakfast Burrito.

If you've ever had a Sonic Breakfast

Burrito, I have not.

Outstanding.

They put jalapenos in it.

That's probably what sent it over the edge

for me, but good night.

That was good stuff.

The problem with Raising Cane's Texas

Toast... I'm sorry.

Raising Cane's is straight up Louisiana

stuff.

The problem with Raising Cane's Texas

Toast...

Is that they charge you for an extra

piece unless you swap it out.

Like if you swap,

you can do it and do the whole

swap thing.

But the problem is, is that raising canes,

it's not actually,

it's not actually a problem with their

Texas.

So it was,

is that their chicken fingers used to be,

like legitimately sized.

And as the years have gone by,

like the pretty short chickens are still

the same size,

but yet the strips that we get from,

uh,

from raising canes have gotten smaller and

smaller and the price has gone higher and

higher.

They've gone from a finger to a thumb.

It's ridiculous, dude.

It's absolutely ridiculous.

I would even say a pinky almost.

It's actually, it's absolutely insane.

Uh,

the best is an extra breaded chicken

tender at the golden Coral.

I don't think I've ever had breaded

chicken tenders at the Golden Corral.

You didn't go get your protein,

your ninety grams of protein?

I don't even know if there's one around

here, dude.

At the buffet?

At the buffet, baby.

At the buffet.

The Golden Corral.

I really don't know if there's a Golden

Corral around.

There might be one in Baton Rouge.

I know there used to be for sure.

Now you got me Googling it.

Well, speaking of all this advertising,

I don't know if you saw...

But there's a little dust-up about Sidney

Sweeney doing an ad for a sports website.

Oh, is there?

I hadn't heard.

Do you know what's crazy?

I've yet to see the actual ad.

really i've only ever seen all the

response videos yeah uh savant played the

whole thing this morning in pieces as he

stopped and talked over it because he had

no idea what the hell it was actually

supposed to be for which to be fair

if you're watching it with no volume on

it's really hard to tell what the hell

she's talking about um but you're not i

Here's the fun part.

I found out this this morning.

She's actually a part owner in the sports

betting app thing.

Of course she is.

So of course she is.

So whatever they are,

I would say whatever they're paying her,

but she's part owner in the company.

So she was probably like, hey,

why don't I just do this ad?

There it is.

okay yeah so what is crazy is and

i put this on on hiller's video i

i commented on it that one

we are just all these women that are

bitching about it are just feeding the

monster.

That is the marketing campaign.

Because at the time that Hiller put us

video yesterday,

the actual ad only had eight hundred

thousand views,

but yet all the response videos had

millions upon millions.

Yeah.

Right.

Doubling and tripling down.

So you're just feeding into that monster.

Second,

I don't know if you know this,

but there's this place in Nevada that's

really famous for sports betting.

I've heard of it.

I think I've heard of it.

It's called Las Vegas.

And they're known for something else as

well.

And that is showgirls.

Vegas, you say?

Yep.

And so there may be a correlation between

sports betting and scantily clad women.

What an odd concept.

What an odd concept.

Let me ask you something.

When we were growing up and print media

was still a thing,

what was your favorite Sports Illustrated

issue?

I don't want to say just because it

always happens that it's right, but yeah,

the Swimsuit Edition,

its numbers were way higher than every

other issue the rest of the year.

I wonder why that is.

What's the best way to get a man

to buy a calendar to put on the

wall?

Again,

I don't want to feed into the stereotypes

of the past.

I want to say that in this case,

in this case,

marketing analytics would tell you that

you correlate these things and you're

going to have success.

Absolutely.

Add on the fact that everybody's going to

be pissed and everybody's going to want to

have their say.

And it's going to be shared and saved

and posted five billion times more than

you could ever get it on your own.

Super easy.

Like it's the easiest thing in the world.

I don't understand the outrage or the fake

outrage.

I really, really don't get it.

It's not bothering you.

It's not affecting your life one way or

another.

I don't.

None of those pictures does she look like

she's athletically playing a sport.

Not even close.

I don't think she's setting back tennis,

basketball, hockey, or any of those.

She is selling an app to bet on

the sport.

And who does most of sports betting?

Degenerates.

A.K.A.

men.

There's a there's a there's an episode of

The Simpsons.

I will never, ever forget.

He goes into that store and while he's

waiting,

like he's getting a burrito microwave for

him.

He gets a pen and it's a novelty

pen where you click it and chicks clothes

come off.

And he's watching it and he's got like

one point.

He's got five of them going at the

same time.

He looks at it and goes,

you know who would love this?

Men.

And I feel the exact same way about

that.

Like, it's not for you.

Leave it alone.

Because all you're doing is what, no,

because all they're doing is exactly what

you said.

It's like,

I'm going to go make this response video.

People are going to hear what I got

to say about it.

Cool.

You just made people go look at it.

It's not that hard to figure out.

And there's nothing in that ad that is

setting women's sports back.

Nobody looks at that and goes, wow,

Sydney Sweeney would be an awesome goalie.

Why isn't Sydney Sweeney playing for the

women's national team?

I don't understand.

Yeah,

Hooters is not a Save the Owls campaign.

Wait, it's not?

It's not?

Holy smokes.

I did not even know that.

Why?

Damn it, Wayne.

Here I thought I was donating to keep

the great Spotted Owl alive.

My bad.

It's, and I don't want to,

I'm not meaning to go down this path

again,

but it's just like the High Rock

situation.

Everybody has to have their say.

So now it's living way longer in the

news cycle.

This is what's wild.

Shanna sent me a DM last night.

She sent it to me too.

Her son doesn't even watch fitness sports

at all, and he has heard about Poopgate.

So I asked my wife, I said,

did you hear about Poopgate?

She goes, oh, my gosh, yes.

My wife,

who has no clue what's going on,

she has never watched one of my shows.

Like,

that's how little of fitness that she

watches.

It was on Newsweek.

Shanna sent me a link to a story.

Somebody wrote it that made it to

Newsweek.

She sent me New York Post, Newsweek,

all like...

And on that note,

we got a really awesome comment from a

listener last night or this morning.

I don't know when it came in.

But she said that she loves the show,

first and foremost.

She loves going off the rails.

She's now addicted to going off the rails.

And she wishes you and I good poops

in the toilet and not on our legs.

I actually looked it up this morning.

I sent it to...

to our little group chat with,

with the glintons and, and I said,

I'm not on day, I'm not on day.

I'm not on day.

I'm not on day.

I'm not on day.

I'm not on day.

I'm not on day.

I'm not on day.

I'm not on day.

I'm not on day.

I'm not on day.

I'm not on day.

I'm not on day.

I'm not on day.

I'm not on day.

I'm not on day.

I'm not on day.

I'm not on day.

I'm

I stopped and I went and used the

bathroom.

I know it's a wild concept,

but I get it.

I can fairly say that I am not

an elite athlete trying to make the world

championships.

I get that.

Now,

she is a games champion and she has

never pooped herself.

There you go.

There you go.

Stood on top of the podium with clean

pants.

Clean pants, clean legs.

That's a double gold medal right there.

They should have gave you an extra award

for that, apparently.

Good Lord, man.

Yeah, I am so over that.

I just hope that the news cycle has

moved on.

I was explaining to my son,

we were talking about it last night,

and I said,

you understand that if you spit on the

floor during a high rocks race and

somebody sees it,

it's a two-minute penalty.

And he said,

but she had poop run down her legs.

They just penalized her two minutes.

I said, they didn't penalize her at all.

Jesus, man.

Speaking of high rocks,

I made this comment a couple weeks ago,

and I got hammered pretty hard about it,

that I said that high rocks had been

bought back by its original owners.

And everybody's like, no, it hasn't.

It's private equity and blah, blah, blah,

blah, blah, blah.

Well, go read the barbell spin today,

and you will see that the original owners

have bought back high rocks and become

majority owners again.

As it turns out,

they have a fifty one percent ownership.

There is a private equity stake of forty

nine percent,

but they have bought it back.

I just want to say, like,

I was not crazy.

I was not wrong.

As it turns out.

They did buy back enough to get...

They were a forty percent owner all along.

And then they bought back enough to get

to fifty one percent.

And just in time to deal with a

shitty situation.

I think maybe they foresaw it coming.

They were like,

we should probably get in on this.

Or something crazy happens.

There it is.

Ladies and gentlemen.

So whoever was giving Scott...

Sorry for the term here,

but giving Scott shit about it.

Here it is.

Laid out for you right there on the

barbell spin.

John George says,

I shit my pants when I was one.

Okay, maybe once when I was four.

I mean, it happens, bro.

Today's poop count, seventeen.

I mean...

Bad timing, though.

Who wants to race High Rocks now when

you have to worry about excrement?

It's how they get in front of it,

Shanna.

Do they get in front of it?

They should have gotten in front of it.

Nobody wants to be behind it.

Right.

Nobody wants to be behind it.

Just throwing that out there.

So yes,

it depends on how they get in front

of it.

And do they like change the rules?

And if,

and put a whole like bodily fluid policy

out there that if any bodily fluid is

seen, whatever you are immediately,

immediately removed.

I hope they use the terms bodily fluids.

I really,

really do because that's going to leave

it.

That leaves nothing open to interpretation

at that point, right?

Like bodily fluids.

What kind?

All of them.

Any of them.

The time to be in front has passed.

No pun intended.

Yeah.

Where is it at?

You can argue they didn't foresee the shit

storm.

They did not and it was definitely a

storm.

It's eight K of running and it happened

on

K-to-two.

Dude, that's a lot.

The ability to push through that...

I know she should have been pulled.

I'm not going to argue that fact.

She should have been pulled immediately.

But the ability to push through that

discomfort for another six K... Well,

once it's out, it's out.

It's uncomfortable because it's stuck to

your leg at that point, but...

It ain't like she was running around.

You don't know what's still sitting in the

booty short.

Didn't look like anything was still

sitting in the booty short there, homeboy.

First of all, she ain't that big.

I don't know, man.

It'd be tough if there was a prairie

dog happening.

What would it matter at that point?

Just let it go?

Like, what you going?

What you going?

Oh, wait.

I know I shit myself earlier,

but I got to kind of go again,

but I'm just going to hold it in

this time.

No.

High Rock's now advertising Adam Sandler

quotes,

you ain't cool unless you poop your pants.

Once there's a breach,

there's no stopping it.

Right.

That's a fact.

I know what dry mud feels like.

There's not a way I'd be able to

finish covered in shit.

There's no way, dude.

There's no way.

Yeah.

We mean push through.

There's no way to talk and talk about

this without double entendres.

Yeah, phrasing.

Phrasing.

What if it was on purpose like Spy

Hunter?

Driving down the road,

throwing out the oil slick.

I tell you what, Birch,

I have unfortunately ruminated on that.

Yes, they should definitely,

one hundred percent,

always just get for a number two.

I have ruminated on the fact that what

if it was on purpose?

I don't I don't think anybody's that like

nobody wants to win that bad.

Right.

I would hope not anyway.

But, like, the video,

Hila brought it up this morning,

that while she's on the lunge,

the sandbag lunge,

she passes a dude literally in the lane

next to her, and he stops and, like,

goes... Yeah.

Like,

you can just see the look on his

face.

You're like, oh, my Lord.

Yeah.

do want to end on a better note

than this i don't know if you saw

that elisa foliano is competing in uh the

physical one hundred in italy yes i i

saw her instagram clips and it was all

in italian so i was like well that

sucks i'm not gonna be able to watch

it but vicky says like on netflix they

overdub perfect english that's amazing so

if you miss kung fu theater

And you want to see Elisa Fuliano take

on the physical one hundred and see if

the CrossFitters dominate again.

You can check that out on Netflix.

I hope they do like a kind of

an American Sign Language version of it as

well,

because Italian people talk with their

hands and I just want to see people

doing like this down in the corner while

they're overdubbing it.

That would be amazing.

Elisa Fuliano.

She's one of my favorite people, dude.

She is a little bit of nothing.

And she, like,

she's won so many barbell mood,

like events at the games.

And, and she can, one hundred percent.

Even though Lito is actually Greek,

she just married an Italian dude.

Yeah.

Extreme challenge.

All those.

I don't understand.

Maybe he slipped off and went to the

enter button before it was.

It's entirely possible.

The most extreme challenge.

You're welcome, Lito.

The most extreme challenge stuff that used

to be on, they put it on wherever,

and that was all in Japanese that they

overdubbed was awesome.

It was awesome to watch just for the

overdubbing.

Well, the original Ninja Warriors,

before there was the American version,

were all in Japanese and overdubbing.

Perfect.

Make it happen.

So yeah, I miss Kung Fu Theater.

Absolutely.

You want to watch Kung Fu?

I need to watch Office Space again.

I do have to...

This came up on Sunday.

So if you don't know,

my wife is a big Pittsburgh Steelers fan.

Their head coach is Mike McCarthy,

who grew up in Pittsburgh,

literally like right across the river from

the stadium.

He moved back to Pittsburgh,

and his parents' house is still there with

his parents living in it,

and he has moved into their basement.

And I said to my wife,

the only thing I can hear now is,

Mom!

Get us some meatloaf!

Meatloaf!

You want some meatloaf?

She'll get you some meatloaf.

That's another one I haven't seen in a

while.

I need to check it out again.

I just watched it maybe a month ago.

That movie kills me.

What's his name?

Not Owen Wilson.

The other one.

Oh my gosh.

Right?

Yeah, Vince Vaughn, Vince Vaughn.

He makes the entire movie for me because

Owen Wilson is Owen Wilson in every single

movie, right?

We like we've come to that and Vince

Vaughn is more or less Vince Vaughn in

every single movie as well.

You exceptions aside,

but like in that he is as Vince

Vaughn has as he's ever actually been like

he's basically a grown up,

sixteen year old,

which is what makes the entire movie

fantastic.

Yeah, I love Vince Vaughn.

One, he's a Chicago Bears fan,

and he is a proud Chicago Bears fan.

Have you ever seen Mr. and Mrs.

Smith with Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie?

A long time ago.

So Vince Vaughn is Brad Pitt's best

friend.

He's also an undercover assassin or

whatever, and he lives at his mom's house.

So, like,

when Brad Pitt finally first figures out,

well, him and Angelique,

but we'll figure out that they're both

assassins, like, secretly and whatnot.

He goes to Vince Vaughn's house, like,

to go talk to him about it and

whatnot.

And, like,

his mom yells at him at some point.

She's like, Mom, we're on high alert here.

Almost shot you.

It's like the same energy.

It's fantastic.

oh the first time i ever saw vince

vaughn was in rudy and he plays one

of the football players yeah i don't know

if he has a speaking role probably not

probably not i think the movie that

actually like put him on the map for

anything was swingers back in the day and

favreau was in rudy too and favreau wrote

swingers right yeah so yeah that's

probably where they like hooked up

didn't want to associate the two

Yes, absolutely.

I did that intentionally and then Corey

blew it anyway.

I'm sorry.

I'm terrible at it.

It's one of those things.

When are you leaving tomorrow?

Flight out at seven forty five a.m.

We will be in Montana at noon.

country there.

times you take oh so you're gonna slide

city

I have never been on a Delta flight.

It didn't matter where we were going that

we didn't go to Atlanta first.

That is where their major hub is.

They're like, oh,

you want to go to Kansas?

Cool.

Fly to Atlanta first.

Well, you want to California?

Fun times.

Let's go see what's happening in Atlanta

before we do anything else.

Yeah,

that's what happens when I fly Eastern.

I didn't even know Eastern was a thing.

It doesn't exist anymore.

I'm about to say,

you want a Pan Am as well?

Fantastic.

Yeah,

the old Las Vegas to Atlanta to San

Francisco.

Yep, yep, yep, yep.

Where are y'all going from?

I went to Waterpalooza.

I went from Columbus to Minneapolis to

Miami.

Where are we going?

Columbus to almost Canada.

And then to almost Cuba.

Yeah.

You're laughing, Big Siobhan,

but that's almost exactly...

We actually... We didn't go to...

If we had took...

When I went to Miami,

if we'd have flew Delta,

that's exactly what we would have done.

We went from New Orleans to Atlanta and

then turned around and went to Miami.

As it turns out,

we took Southwest and we went to Orlando

and then...

atlanta at least that makes sense or

excuse me at orlando and in miami but

yeah at least we landed in florida and

then landed in florida all right guys i

Mama Switzer,

we don't need Bedazzler shirts, baby.

She's like,

I don't even know where I get a

Bedazzler.

And I'm like, probably eBay.

There are probably people all over the

place trying to unload those things.

I can guarantee you can buy,

maybe not the actual Bedazzler,

but something very similar on Amazon.

If you need it, it's probably on Amazon.

She goes,

I need something to occupy my time.

And I'm like, no, you don't.

Not that.

Not that.

You know what you ought to do is

just buy a Lego flower and try to

turn it into a Millennium Falcon.

That's what you ought to be doing there,
