And I hired a lot of marketing companies and who did a lot of great things. But one of the things I found was there was no playbook for a local small business. There was no playbook, for entrepreneurship. There's like a playbook for big businesses. There's business school. I was like entrepreneurs and small businesses need a plan. And so at six App Storytelling, we helped give business owners a framework to grow their business using storytelling. The other thing we did is a couple years ago we launched a podcast called stories with soul. This is also our first live recording we've ever done. So this is we're working it out as we go.

I wanted to scratch, and it's, and part of my entrepreneurial journey. And so I kind of wanted to open that up to the world because there's the one, there's like people doing amazing stuff from here. You learn from them, you grow from them.

And so I did that kind of selfishly. And there were several people that I'd like. I really want to have a conversation with them, but it's kind of weird to randomly approach someone you don't know and they can have a conversation with you, but not if you have a podcast. Tiffany, for example, I've wanted to have a conversation with you for a long time, and now I have a reason to wrangle you here and sit down and pick your brain.

But the the response to it was kind of wild. Way more people listened to it than I thought. I thought it was is going to be my mom. But people listened to it and people liked it. It resonated with folks. I learned a ton from it. And it kind of took on a life of its own.

It became a bigger thing that it was Sante was a guest on there. There's some folks who have been the been guest here, and I've got friendships from it. My son of we had had Molly Morgan and my son was definitely ill and I was horribly depressed and just mad at the world. I was like, why? Like the entire world was during Covid and then I had a sick child on top of it, and I just kind of thought he'd always be sick.

And so I stopped drinking a year and just got really into like a big health kick. And because of all the nurses and doctors and people in the Fort Worth community, I was like, it is my time to get back. Like they did so much for me. Tony, I remember when you like, launched this night talk show, but there was a point where you said, I am going to do something and I'm going to put myself out there and I'm going to do the work and I'm going to invest the time, energy, money.

And, and then and then we started to say, okay, now let's start asking other people about it that we want to have on the show. Then we start playing with this idea of like setting people together that would not normally be in the same space at the same time. And that grew the idea. And then we said, let's ask Nancy Lamb. And that created a series of yeses for me that that, you know, culminated in their relationship with NBC that would try to keep a handle on to this day and, and then creating the podcast with Henry, which was also just another yes moment. Can you, can you talk a little bit about just, the value of authenticity coupled with, I mean, I think part of doing this is you got to show up, you got to create content, which is kind of a job. I got to like, do the work and schedule the photos or the videos or it like it can be cumbersome and time consuming, but can you talk about balancing, creating and then being authentic?

Because I think I think part of the success of each of the three of you is you're kind of unapologetically you, like you are like, you don't try to be anybody else. My biggest thing, though, if I'm not being authentically myself, then I will always second guessed that something didn't go right or wrong, because then I'm like, oh, if I would have said this. I think that's the biggest because I catch myself, especially once you start getting brand management and things like that. It's like my biggest thing is, like with the McKinsey child, I've had that for years. I think keeping to your brand and what you are as a person, I think people relate to that. But I think that's why we're definitely seeing a change in the Instagram culture is like with my agency, they said they're micro-influencers make more money now than they're mega people because I think people trust and you see behind the bars and you realize and understand it's their job.
