Check Me Boomer is a weekly father-daughter podcast about reality TV. Dad's obsessed with Bravo. Maybe even more so than Isabella.
Every week, the show covers the Real Housewives franchises — Beverly Hills, New York, Atlanta, New Jersey, Potomac, Salt Lake City, and Rhode Island - along with Summer House, In the City, Next Gen NYC, Southern Charm, Ladies of London, Southern Hospitality, The Valley, Love Island, and whatever else pulls them in. Sometimes they agree. Sometimes they don't. Either way, listeners get two people who actually love reality TV, working through it together. What they watched, what they side-eyed, and what they can't stop thinking about.
Whether you're a longtime Bravo fan, a casual reality TV viewer, or someone who just likes a good father-daughter conversation, Check Me Boomer brings honest takes on the moments, the drama, and the cast dynamics that everyone's talking about.
New episodes drop every week.
Hi. I'm Isabella. My dad is obsessed with reality television, maybe even more so than I am.
Dad:She's not wrong.
Isabella:This is Check Me Boomer, a father daughter weekly dish on the latest reality TV.
Dad:Happy Sunday, Isabella.
Isabella:Happy Sunday, dad.
Dad:Good to see you.
Isabella:You too.
Dad:What do we have on the agenda today?
Isabella:Not as much as we normally do. With Love Island, it's it might be a bit of a slower episode, so I have a couple extra topics to we we can talk about.
Dad:Okay.
Isabella:We have the usual Atlanta, Below Deck, Next Gen NYC, The Valley. We we usually watch Watch What Happens Live, but we usually don't talk about it. I have a couple notes on a couple of the episodes from this week, one from Below Deck and one from Next Gen NYC. And then I want to talk super briefly about the challenge returning. And then we are going to discuss the upcoming premiere that airs tonight of Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip twentieth Anniversary Edition.
Isabella:So I'd like to talk about that a little bit and just preview it.
Dad:Are we going to start referring to that as UGT 20?
Isabella:I don't know. That's kind of a tough one. It's not like RHOSLC that we can
Dad:Right. It doesn't roll off the tongue.
Isabella:So I usually just call it Ultimate Girls Trip.
Dad:That's still kind of a mouthful.
Isabella:I mean, yeah, but I don't know where else you could call it
Dad:right. I'll think of something while
Isabella:you're talking.
Dad:Don't know. Maybe come up with something. And I may mention something about a documentary. Well, it's not really a documentary. That's part of what I was going to discuss, The Bombing of Pan Am 103 .
Dad:I might or even if we do it, might cut it out. Who knows?
Isabella:Well, we could start with that if you want, because I was going to mention super briefly as well. You just reminded me. I started last night a documentary about Burning Man.
Dad:Okay.
Isabella:Which I always thought of it as a music festival.
Dad:Right.
Isabella:Just kind of a music festival for the real hippies.
Dad:Right. Wealthy hippies.
Isabella:Yes. Yeah. Four episodes. I've only seen two. It's talking about kind of how it came to be and what it really is.
Isabella:And it's pretty interesting because it's really not just a music festival. And it is in the middle of nowhere in a desert. Like, they show these people driving to what they call Black Rock City. There are no roads. Like, they're driving in the middle of the desert, just on the desert.
Isabella:There are no paved roads. So it's cool. I mean, it's interesting. It's on HBO Max.
Dad:Report back and let me know. Real quick on this, it's called The Bombing of Pan Am 103 . It's not a documentary, so that's one of the things right there. It's a dramat
Isabella:Dramatization?
Dad:There you go. There you Easy for me to say. Dramatization. And, you know, there you and I discussed a little bit about this before that sometimes when you watch a real documentary, I get excited. Right?
Dad:I'm like, oh my gosh. That's a great way of listening to or hearing about something. I'd never thought about it that way before. And then sometimes I'll dig in a little bit and find out, okay. Well, they left out a giant issue or they overstated something.
Dad:That's present in any dramatization because they say at the very beginning of every episode, look, this is a dramatization, it's based on real life events, sometimes they merge characters, and there are a couple things that come out that are true, but then other things that they say happened weren't exactly accurate. And then it makes me question the whole thing. And going back to a real documentary, if they leave something out or they overstate or misstate something, it just gets frustrating and makes me question the entire concept. And then I end up going down a rabbit hole and researching the hell out of it anyway myself, and it ends up being maybe a waste of time, but I I get to the bottom of it. So this one, I thought it was very good because your mother and I lived through this, so it was a big deal.
Dad:And I do give credit, the dramatization part does help make it emotional. You see what especially happens to the families of the victims that were not just limited to those on the plane, but including the people in Lockerbie, Scotland where the plane crashed. It killed people there too, and how that city or town reacted and how empathetic they were to all of the victims as opposed to how the United States government behaved. Again, at least if you believe the way it was presented in the movie. So good use of time, I enjoyed it, so
Isabella:I You said it's a movie?
Dad:It's a dramatization, right? So it's
Isabella:Yeah, but is it one episode?
Dad:Oh, no. There are multiple episodes. Can't remember how many, but it's not like 10 or anything. It might be four But or it was worth it, so if you have some spare time. Okay.
Dad:Let's get to the real stuff.
Isabella:Well, let me respond. Okay. Yeah. I don't have much to respond to that. I was just going to say I definitely do prefer documentary style to dramatization.
Dad:Same.
Isabella:Now, if it's an interesting enough story, I might do both. So, for example, when the whole Anna Delvey thing came out, I'm pretty sure the documentary came out first, and then the show came out after that. I don't think I even finished the actual show, like the dramatization of it. But I also watched the Murdaugh one.
Dad:Right. There's several, I think.
Isabella:Well, are several documentaries, and then there was one dramatization on Hulu, and it was with some pretty big stars. I think was it Courtney Love was one of them? Let me just look that up
Dad:real No. I know the one you're talking about. Well, unless there's a different one. I'm pretty sure
Isabella:I Murdaugh. It was called Murdaugh: Death in the Family. Yes. And Patricia Arquette was the main draw for that.
Dad:I'm still working my way through that. Think I have a couple of episodes left.
Isabella:Well, what I was gonna say is I thought it was good. Like, yes, I at that point, I really did know the story because I even I mean, I was I was really in that case. I even watched Court TV a little bit when he was when Alex Murdaugh was testifying. So I know I know that case. So watching it kind of redone, it was good, but I'm not always gonna like those.
Isabella:So
Dad:I was pretty deep in that too. I was listening to the podcast by the woman who was who was or probably still is a reporter in or around that town that's She's covered in that show. Right? They talk
Isabella:about Brittany Snow plays her.
Dad:Okay. So I I did listen to that and side note, Boomer reaction, she kept saying the entire name of the law firm every episode and it's like six people's last name. I sent a message saying or I put a comment on one of the podcasts saying, Can you just shorten it to the Murdaugh Law Firm or something? Like, I don't need to hear you say all their names every time. Of course, she didn't respond.
Isabella:That's like a little bit Karen. Shouting at clouds. Yeah. Like the meme from, what is it, The Simpsons, the guy yelling at the I
Dad:thought I was just doing her a favor. It's constructive criticism. Yeah. Just like we welcome constructive criticism of our show. We sure do.
Dad:Yeah. Okay.
Isabella:Okay. Are we ready to move on?
Dad:Let's do it.
Isabella:Alright. Should we start with Atlanta? I guess we could just go in chronological order. Sure. Yeah.
Isabella:So we watched the finale of Atlanta. This is the season finale. We'll see the reunions starting tonight, actually. So I had I honestly I'm trying to think of what even happened on this ep like, of course, I have notes, but I'm trying to remember what even happened.
Dad:Think they fought with each other Worked and they talked about their body parts and
Isabella:I'm I'm now okay. I'm remembering that they went to K. Michelle's part launch for what a
Dad:Oh, that's right. Album
Isabella:party. Yep. And they were all singing with her.
Dad:All except for Drew.
Isabella:Drew, who then did jump in and was
Dad:Bad.
Isabella:Yeah. The whole thing was just Cringey. Kind of uncomfortable to watch, I'm not gonna lie. What was funny, and I actually did post this on our Check Me Boomer Instagram, was we had a flashback for Porsha to a previous real Housewives Ultimate Girls trip in Thailand when their, I guess, butler, would we call him? Yes.
Isabella:Pepsi, he was the guy kinda taking care of them. He told Porsha, and I don't know if he was a psychic or he was reading something from a psychic, he basically told her, You will have problem with lesbian.
Dad:Oh, yes. I remember that flashback.
Isabella:Yeah. And so flash forward, he was right. Now, problem with lesbian I think isn't being interpreted as she's had her heart stolen by a lesbian. I think that's kind of how she's viewing it.
Dad:It's a stretch.
Isabella:Well, that's also how Porsha's girlfriend is viewing it. In the comments. She said, I guess she meant a problem with a lesbian stealing your heart, said something like that. But I thought it was funny how that kind of I mean, based on how you interpret it, it kind of did come true. Porsha's in her confessional doing the whole rainbow motion saying, No, I'm gay now.
Dad:Gay gay.
Isabella:Gay gay. Yeah. So good for her, whatever. Oh, this is something I wanted to ask you about. They keep talking about this horse that was brought in for the Halloween party.
Dad:Oh, yes. By Drew's sort of boyfriend or someone that she claims is not, and he was dressed up as she she was dressed up as Beyonce from the tour, the most recent tour. That was her outfit. Right?
Isabella:Yeah.
Dad:And the guy that brings the horse was dressed up as Jay Z.
Isabella:Okay. Yeah.
Dad:A weak version of Jay Z.
Isabella:And a weak version of Beyonce Yes. To be fair. They keep talking about that night, and Shamea keeps talking about the HOA fees that she got Oh, for the horse. Yep. I don't own a home.
Isabella:So I'm wondering, you also, obviously you and mom are subject to HOA fees.
Dad:Right.
Isabella:Okay. They showed like a bill or an invoice or whatever for like, I don't know what the exact Thousands of dollars. Yeah. Was over a thousand dollars for this horse. Is that legitimate?
Dad:I doubt it.
Isabella:Okay.
Dad:I used to be on the board of the HOA.
Isabella:Of course you did.
Dad:And your mother told me if I ever ran again, would divorce me, so that's how much But she hated there are fines imposed, but they're for nicknack or ticky tack kind of things. Like, you see your garbage cans from the street or you don't mow your lawn or you most recently hear that you haven't pressure washed your driveway. I can't understand, one, that there's a rule that says you can't have a horse just because there's no that's that's very specific. Maybe they have some broad thing that says you can't bring in domesticated animals or I don't know, but who's checking? Right?
Dad:It's not like there's a police force that's on call that,
Isabella:I oh my gosh, I spotted mean, we had a security guy that drove up and down our street for a while.
Dad:Right. But that guy was just like going and checking a box, right? Like pushing a button and then driving back. So it this assumes that someone saw it and it was that there was some level of specificity in the rules that they could say that the the horse manure was a a violation. It's probably on her own property, so that's not something you did a violation for.
Dad:I think it's just made up just so that she can have some more airtime.
Isabella:Yeah. And she's had plenty, Shamea. She's had plenty of airtime. Let me go back to this Halloween party really quick, because I guess when the episode started, they're still kind of there. Correct?
Dad:Yes.
Isabella:Drew has this whole issue where she feels like she's being like, she trips and falls. And then as she's walking out, she's talking about, like, oh, someone pushed me or something. But then she says she I think she thought she was off camera. She says she tripped on her pants. But then she's going like she's also on camera saying, Someone pushed me.
Isabella:Someone pulled me down. So she's saying it both ways, where clearly she thought she was off camera at one point, because she's like, Oh, no. I tripped on my pants.
Dad:Right.
Isabella:So, I mean, I don't know what
Dad:They're all just too thirsty for airtime, probably because they realize that there's nothing that much interesting going on other than the fighting amongst them that's so complicated I have lost track, and I don't really care.
Isabella:Yeah. Well, the reunion looks good.
Dad:Oh, I saw the preview, and it looks like it's gonna be insane. They might have to have security. Security.
Isabella:Yeah. Well, I am interested to see a lot came out about Drew. She lost primary custody of her children, so I'm interested to see what she says about that on the reunion, among, of course, everything else we're gonna get on the reunion. I'm just I'm interested to see if she has a story for that because she's really sticking to the story of I am such a good mom, and he is wrong. He's doing all of this to be petty and I don't know what the truth is.
Isabella:I really don't at this point.
Dad:Well, and I wouldn't look for her to give the truth.
Isabella:Right. So which is kind of why I'm just interested to see what she says, because before she was all acting like, no, that would never happen to her. So now that it has, what is her response? Is
Dad:I'll also keep an eye out on the Bravo Docket to see if they cover it, because if the final order is public, they will cover it. But like a lot of that case, a lot of it has been under seal, so it we'll see. I'll report back
Isabella:if they Yeah. If I have to guess what Drew is gonna say, she's probably gonna say it's only temporary and we're still in court. And some he did something. He did this on purpose
Dad:Or make blame the judge or the system or something. It'll never be her fault, right?
Isabella:Yeah. Which I mean, to be fair, the system isn't perfect.
Dad:No. No. But
Isabella:But, yeah,
Dad:It's I don't like a lot of things on TV. Whenever they talk about the legal implications, especially if it's criminal, they like to kind of gloss over it. Mhmm. Just happened again on McBee Dynasty, which I'm not covering on the show, but they had something, and they just, of course, downplay the seriousness of the charges. Yeah.
Isabella:They're hoping nobody's gonna actually look into it.
Dad:Right. Right.
Isabella:Even though there's a whole podcast, shout out again, the Bravo Docket that
Dad:Angela and Cesie, and they will look into it. And in fairness, they they're they will cover both sides of it. They just spent a long time on Love is Blind. There are a lot of lawsuits against Love So is anyway.
Isabella:You know, speaking of Love is Blind, really quick, this is not planned, but I saw recently that they're casting again in Atlanta. Mom sent it to me and said she didn't say you should sign up, but she sent it to me obviously for a reason. And I told her, I would have considered it maybe in the first few seasons, but after watching the last few seasons, I don't know where they're getting these men from, and I don't trust them. I don't trust Netflix casting at all.
Dad:That's part of what is covered in a couple episodes on the Bravo Docket, that some of these men are more horrible than you know, that it was shown on the on the the various seasons, because if they're really bad, they don't even show them on the show. Right? They cut them out. Yeah. And they also go into detail about how much time they spend and how they're prevented from doing they can't leave the location, they can't use their phone, they can't call people, and it's for a couple weeks, and part of the lawsuits are based on wage and hour because if you figure out how much time they spend and how much money they get, it's less than minimum wage.
Isabella:Yeah. I still like the show. I'm still going to watch the show. The last few seasons have really gone downhill, and I think some of the men on there, I'm not going to say they're scary, but they scare me. Oh, wow.
Isabella:Listen, dating in the modern world is impossible anyway, so I understand why people wanna get on these shows, but the problem with these shows is you have to trust that they did their due diligence in casting. And we've been shown, and maybe I'll just go ahead and throw in, this is why I'm not watching the Ultimatum, because there's at least one guy who's been arrested for domestic violence since the show ended, and maybe it was a new thing and maybe it wasn't on his record before. Maybe it's his first run-in with the law. But still, you need to be interviewing these men so much to know who they are, and I don't have my phone to look up a background check on these men when I'm on the show. Right.
Isabella:So I don't think I could do until Netflix sorts that out, and I feel as though I can trust them again, I'm not signing up for that show.
Dad:Well, also you can't sign up because we have the podcast, so you can't really
Isabella:Oh, would it be like a
Dad:No. You would not be available to be recording.
Isabella:Well, yeah. They they still have jobs, though.
Dad:I think that they have to take time off.
Isabella:What are they doing?
Dad:They can only go back to their job after the the trip to Mexico.
Isabella:Right. Right. Which well, guess that is probably
Dad:It's quite a bit of vacation they have to take, at a minimum. If not, quit.
Isabella:Yeah. I guess that's a good point. To the point of Ultimatum, by the way, I'm not against watching it. If anyone else has watched it and they think it's worth it, I'm still open to watching it. It seems like dark energy.
Dad:So,
Isabella:yeah, if anyone thinks it's good, let us know and we'll definitely jump on board, but we are not at the moment. So do you wanna move on to how about below deck?
Dad:Perfect.
Isabella:Okay. So last time we left off, Nathan the bosun was showing up late right before a charter, which is a problem. I mean, it's Joe was saying it's super inconsiderate.
Dad:Unprofessional.
Isabella:Yeah. Unprofessional and inconsiderate. And yeah, I think you can't just show up late to your job. Plenty of people have families. Right.
Isabella:Obviously Sandy is very sympathetic. She knows what's going on. But even Sandy said, all you had to do was give me a call. I would have completely understood. And Captain Sandy is probably the most understanding boss I've ever seen.
Isabella:I mean, she's so understanding.
Dad:My prediction turned out to be wrong.
Isabella:I said that he was gonna quit the show, but I was wrong. Well, I started to think that maybe that would be in the cards once I found out that he hurt his back.
Dad:Oh, wasn't the basis of my prediction.
Isabella:I know it wasn't because we didn't know about that last But once he indicated that he had a bulged disc that had kind of been flaring up again. Now I am kind of thinking, okay, maybe he would leave. But I still don't think so because we saw the preview for the rest of the season and He
Dad:comes back.
Isabella:He comes back. So, yeah, I don't think that's happening at least right now.
Dad:And what's the French guy, the other member of the deck crew from a prior season who's coming back to serve in his place?
Isabella:Oh, God. What is his name? I know I see him. I know exactly who you're talking about. We're gonna have
Dad:to find his name.
Isabella:We should.
Dad:Okay. Jean? Max. Okay. That doesn't sound very French, but whatever.
Isabella:Yeah. But, okay. Yeah. Max. I didn't see Max as coming back, guess.
Isabella:Liked him. You gotta pay better attention. Well, I mean, once we get to the preview, I'm like, okay, what am I watching next? You also have to keep in mind, I do have to cook myself dinner and do my own laundry and So I miss things occasionally.
Dad:Well, and I can't really take too many shots because sometimes your mother and I fight about it. She's like, you gotta play through the credits because there are gonna be scenes. I'm like, well, there aren't scenes every week, like on House of Dragons. Right? It seems to vary as to whether they show scenes.
Dad:And then I think to myself, well, we're going to watch next week, so Yeah. Why are we watching the scenes? I know I'm gonna watch it, so is this a waste of time? But anyway, so I happen to be paying attention this time.
Isabella:Yeah. I do want to mention Aesha being a deckhand. I mean, what a good sport. I like how Joe called her abnormally strong.
Dad:Yes.
Isabella:I thought that was funny. So, I mean, I just love Aesha. She's just the best. She
Dad:I don't know if we ever covered this topic, but your mother and I talk about who are the top three people in reality television that you would like to hang out with, And she's almost always in my top three. She just she seems like she would be so fun and she's so funny. And, I would get used to her drawing, you know, taking one syllable word and making it four, but it's great.
Isabella:Yes. I feel like Aesha is not going viral, but I've seen a lot of people talking about Aesha online and just saying that the way that she says, That's amazing. I've seen just jokes made about it of it's better than drugs. It's just the best thing ever to hear her say that.
Dad:And I did say I would have to get used to it. That's not right. I love it. Whenever she says something, just die laughing. It's very similar to Ellie from Love Island UK.
Dad:It just kills me.
Isabella:Yeah. She's the best. We love her. And speaking of while we're here, it was just announced that Summer House just went on a trip to Greece, I guess, and we're gonna get another crossover of Summer House and Below Deck Med.
Dad:Right.
Isabella:So that's they just filmed, of course, so it's gonna be a while, but that's exciting. Aesha was there. I saw just a clip that Kyle posted online, and Aesha said, no, my god. No. You are the best crew or the best charter, whatever.
Isabella:I can't do her accent at all, but You're amazing. Amazing. I love her. Okay. So we mentioned Nathan hurt his back.
Isabella:The only other thing is Jen because Aesha's on deck, she had to appoint a chief stew. Jen is still so bitter because obviously the second stew was appointed chief stew. She's pissed. Are we surprised? No.
Isabella:So that's all I had for the episode. I watched Watch What Happens Live after the episode where Luke was on here. Reminder for everyone that forgot, Luke is the guy who soiled his boss' sheets and then left for it.
Dad:Joe Bradley was also on. Although they weren't in person, was two TVs.
Isabella:Correct. Yeah.
Dad:They're video.
Isabella:But I have to give Luke some credit. I had said before that he's a disgusting animal, and I don't even I still believe that to a certain degree. He was such a good sport. He really if you've seen Watch What Happens Live, you know that Andy is not gonna hold back on questions. He's gonna ask
Dad:you what
Isabella:he wants to know. And he just was really a good sport. They played Do You Regret It? He had maybe the most regrets I've ever seen. I think he got to five regrets.
Isabella:He just was like, Yeah, I regret that one too. Yeah, I guess I regret that too. I mean, just so many things. The way he treated Jen, and yeah, I don't he they had you know how Andy will sometimes play a game where he makes an inanimate object, humanized? Yes.
Isabella:He makes a cartoon version, and they're using this stupid, stupid voice. Right. Did you watch the episode?
Dad:I didn't finish it. I saw him apologize, and then we got distracted and watched something else.
Isabella:When they were doing this game, and the inanimate object was, of course, Nathan's Sheets, it was doing this, I guess, just the crazy voice, and Luke was imitating the voice, and he was getting a lot of laughs from the crowd. Like, I think and even Andy was like, you know how Andy is feeling? He just was looking and grinning.
Dad:Right.
Isabella:Like, you could tell Andy's like, we might have to get this guy back on another
Dad:season. Okay. I'll try to go watch and finish it.
Isabella:Yeah. Well, just so you know, he doesn't seem like the worst guy in the world anymore.
Dad:Okay.
Isabella:But that's all I got for Below Deck.
Dad:Okay. What's next?
Isabella:Next, I think we have the Valley reunion part one. Right. Are it is three parts, by the way. I know. So Andy definitely said part one of three.
Isabella:I don't have much here. I think part one of the reunion is often just a little bit of warming up.
Dad:Right. I don't don't know. They launched into it.
Isabella:They did. They did, but I still don't have a ton.
Dad:I've got one topic. Your mother and I, when we were watching the back and forth between Lacy and what's her name? Michelle.
Isabella:Michelle. I forget her name a lot too, Yeah.
Dad:We turned to each other and we couldn't decide whose side we were on because one would say something like, Oh, okay. In my mind I didn't say this out loud, but in my mind I'm thinking like, Good point. And then Lacy would like Michelle started. I'm like, Okay. Then Lacy would say something and I'd say, Well, she sounds like she's got a pretty good point.
Dad:And she's very relaxed and calm, which very much helps in a debate. I struggle because when I debate people I do not remain
Isabella:You get passionate.
Dad:Too much. And she kept saying she has video and things like this. It seemed like even among the cast members, were like, Woah, okay. Wow, that changes things.
Isabella:Yeah, the video is a little bit creepy.
Dad:It's just the reference to it. Who knows what the source or why she's got video inside her house or what it is, but I don't know. By the end, I think I was sort of on Lacy's side.
Isabella:Yeah. So I think I I actually talked to mom about this after we watched I the think I feel bad for Michelle. I really do feel for her. Of course it sucks to watch the man you're not even fully divorced from yet move on so quickly. I of course have some empathy for that.
Isabella:However, I think Lacy was in the right here. I mean, I think Lacy was being very understanding, and like you said, she was being very calm too, which helps her. The I mean, really what Lacy's trying to say is that, listen, yeah, I'm with Jesse and I'm probably gonna take a side, but when it comes to being a mother, I will always back you up. And Michelle is just, like, not really taking that. And I don't know.
Isabella:I mean, yes, we haven't seen everything. We haven't seen I guess there was this whole instance of Lacy coming over when their daughter's there, Their daughter met Lacy before Michelle even knew about it, so Michelle's pissed. Michelle goes over there and is like Lacy describes it screaming in the street, making a scene. So was she justified? Maybe she was justified to be upset, but to make a scene like that, probably not.
Dad:That's where I think it swung in favor of Lacy, where Michelle said, Well, I was arguing with my husband, and she said, In front of your daughter and in public? And I thought, Oh, good point.
Isabella:Yeah. So I think I ended on Lacy's side. I mean, I don't know. It's a tough situation. Is Michelle ever gonna be really close with her ex husband's girlfriend?
Isabella:Probably not.
Dad:Right.
Isabella:I think they just need to be civil, which, I mean, it seems like they're fine.
Dad:It's probably not a great start to send someone a cease and desist letter. It's not called a cease and desist. It's a cease and desist letter. And as they talk about it in the Bravo Docket, it's not like magic. It's not it doesn't have the force of law or anything.
Dad:It's just like a warning. And but in reality TV, people talk about it like it's the end of the world, and they just add letter to it when you say it. A cease and desist letter. But it's not a great way to start a relationship. I'm sure there's more to the story, but I thought that was pretty funny because Lacy even made a joke about it later.
Dad:She said, Oh, yeah. So and so sent me a cease and desist. And Andy was like, really? Did she? And she said, Andy, I'm trying to be funny here.
Isabella:Yeah. I do like Lacy. Like, I I think she deserves better than Jesse though. Oh, the comment that was funny. It's not saying much.
Isabella:But the comment that was funny is when they did bring Lacy out, and I guess it was Andy kind of making an introduction saying, Oh, was it nice to have your girlfriend in your corner? He said, Was she even in my corner?
Dad:Right. Which
Isabella:is pretty valid, because I do like how she's not jumping to defend him at every single moment.
Dad:Right.
Isabella:Like if he's wrong, she's gonna call him out for being wrong. Yep. And that's probably mostly why I like her. I don't know if she'll be back, but I don't know if the show's gonna be back. Michelle I don't and Dr.
Isabella:Dre, I mean, she confirmed it, and that's just so bizarre. Mom and I were talking about that topic too. And mom is saying, He's so old. That's so gross. Why would she want to be with someone like that?
Isabella:I'm like, She just got divorced. I don't think she's trying to marry this guy. He's a billionaire. I'm sure she's just having some fun, and okay.
Dad:He's not that much older than we are.
Isabella:Okay, so we looked up the age gap. He is 60, she is 37, which once you're over a certain age, I don't think an age gap matters at all. Right. But it still is like, Yeah, he's twenty three years older than her. Yeah, it's quite the age gap, but so what?
Dad:She definitely needed someone more mature.
Isabella:Yeah. And like I said, I don't think that this is serious. Even Michelle said, We're really just friends. Now, I think they're more than friends, but I don't think they're seriously dating either.
Dad:Oh, and I like how Jesse said, Oh, it sounds like you must have signed an NDA, and she said, No. She's just got some level of discretion that she doesn't want to share everything on national television. Yeah.
Isabella:So there, I mean, that's a duo I did not see at all. We found out Brittany gave her ex boyfriend $10,000
Dad:Near that. I don't think technically she confirmed it was 10. She said it was more than 5 and less than 10, but that's a shitload of money.
Isabella:And it might even she well, I don't want to say she's lying, but if if you're going to be giving a man money, you're probably going to try and downplay it as as much as you possibly can.
Dad:I don't know. She seems pretty quick to acknowledge that she made a mistake in a lot of ways with that relationship.
Isabella:Yeah. Okay. Janet and Zach hugged and made up, I guess. Like, wrote question mark there. It seemed kind of forced.
Isabella:Mom and I were talking about this for a while on our daily phone call because mom can't stand Janet, which I'm sure you know because you watch it with her. Right. I'm not saying I love Janet, but I see what Janet means. And I don't think she's the villain anymore. Right.
Isabella:Like, I just think that they're all getting like, what did she even do? Like, yeah, maybe she's not maybe she's not the nicest person and she's but I still like, I just don't really know what she did besides call Danny out.
Dad:Right. Well, I think we talked about this on another episode, but her labeling it with a specific legal term when she wasn't there probably was overstepping. Because one, sometimes legal words matter in certain instances, and especially if you're making an allegation about someone, you put yourself at risk technically if you say that they committed a crime and they actually haven't or there's no evidence that at least that you're privy to.
Isabella:Right. I get that. Did she not apologize?
Dad:I think she eventually did And that happened say
Isabella:over a year ago
Dad:at this think she kept saying her apologies were always kind of watered down, like, I'm sorry if you were upset with what I said or but then she backed, I'm not apologizing for your actions. Right? Anyway, she ended up coming back, and we talked about this another time. It was much more of a fulsome apology, but in the grand scheme of reality TV, this is not the worst thing that's ever happened. And right there, they are treating her like she's the devil.
Isabella:Yeah. That okay. Yeah. That's what is I'm not even I don't even like her that much. I just I'm not understanding why she is such a villain when I really do feel like Danny should be I mean, not not to say Danny's not the villain, of course he
Dad:is.
Isabella:But I don't know. I think they just needed to move on. It seems like maybe they're taking steps to moving on.
Dad:We'll see this week. It does look like there's some more fire that's gonna happen.
Isabella:I mean, Janet, she made me laugh a couple times this season, which is more than I can say for most of the cast. So I don't know. I just I think she needs a little bit more grace.
Dad:Don't we all?
Isabella:Oh, and then okay. This is not really Valley specific, but I just want to say something regarding the reunions in general. It kind of pisses me off when Andy cuts off the arguing. Because I'm like, isn't that what we're here for is to argue and, like, let them work it out? I I understand if there are certain groups, like maybe Atlanta, you gotta reel them in at some point.
Isabella:But I feel like once who was it that was fighting at the end that he had to cut off? It probably was Janet and it was Danny and probably the whole other side of couch, Right. Lola, La la and Janet, and they're all arguing, and Andy's like, Okay, enough. We have to break for lunch.
Dad:But one, a couple things. Yes, I get it. As a viewer, it's annoying. On the other hand, there are logistical things going on. Right?
Dad:Like, if there really is a lunch and they have to get it in, they have only a certain amount of time that they've allocated to get whether it's two or three episodes done in a day. He's probably got production in his ear saying, We're not going be able to use all this stuff anyway. You better just move on because we have six other important topics that we have to cover. Yeah. But yeah, sure.
Dad:It would be nice, but they could turn into a six part episode.
Isabella:Yeah, I get it, but I also feel like there's a lot of stuff that's kind of pointless too. Oh, Like Andy going through at the beginning saying, hi, Michelle. How's how's it got? Like, we don't need that. Just just jump in right away.
Dad:Yeah. Just stick with the drama. Like, I don't care that someone has a baby, right? And that they're focusing on, oh, that's not reality television. Right?
Dad:Okay. I'm sure it's important to her. When we had you, it was important to us, but it's not important to me as a viewer. Like, I don't care.
Isabella:Yeah. That might be a little bit of a stretch because, I mean, if Andy's asking about your life right now, of course, you're gonna say, like, well, I 've had a baby.
Dad:No, no. It's not that part, maybe it's not the baby thing, but there's usually some soft piece in each of the episodes are like, Oh, as an update, this is what happened with you this year.
Isabella:Yeah, maybe just shorten it a little Like focus, because if we're cutting off the arguments, we're doing something wrong.
Dad:Right. Right.
Isabella:I get it. It's harder than I'm sure I think it is, but that's just all I had to say. I've noticed that a lot. And I'm like, Andy, just let him do it. So that's all I had for the Valley.
Dad:Okay. What do you want to do next?
Isabella:I think we just have I mean, as far as our shows go, we just have Next Gen left, right?
Dad:Let's do it.
Isabella:Okay. We have Riley back this episode. Riley's fully in this episode. And I missed her because I watched her awkwardly have to hug Georgia, and I laughed out loud at this because she
Dad:might She said, I'm gonna wash my back when I go. And
Isabella:Riley's face. I mean, she just cannot she is not the kind of girl that's that's able to hide her emotions. I mean, you can tell exactly what she's thinking.
Dad:Well, she's just also maybe a bit gullible. She doesn't get sarcasm.
Isabella:Yeah. I get it. Well, if you watched it though, when Riley greeted Georgia, Georgia did awkwardly reach for Riley, like go in for a hug. And Riley noticed it and was like, Okay, yeah, I'll hug you. It was awkward.
Isabella:Okay, so Riley's doing this girls' night part two, because obviously the part one didn't go well, didn't They're end at this kind of cool bar where you have to go down a slide to get there. Should we tell my brother to go check it out and
Dad:let Yes. Us
Isabella:Yeah. Shout out Drayton.
Dad:Wait, this is not ringing true, or this is not resonating with me. I might have missed this episode or the end of it.
Isabella:Okay. That did you text me? Am I making this up? Did you text me asking if there was an episode of Next Gen this week?
Dad:Yes.
Isabella:Did I respond?
Dad:You did, and you said there was, or maybe it was another show.
Isabella:No, you did. You said, was there Next Gen this week? I said yes, and you said the dinner before BravoCon.
Dad:Okay, yes.
Isabella:So you saw it, you just maybe were a little bit tuned out.
Dad:Yeah, I was probably researching a documentary or something.
Isabella:Okay, well.
Dad:The slide part escapes me. Do you remember the name of the place?
Isabella:Oh, God. I think it started with an s maybe, So doesn't I think it's interesting that they're allowed to talk about BravoCon to the extent that they are. I think we see in the other shows, in the Housewives shows, that they'll occasionally refer back to BravoCon, say, you said this thing about me at BravoCon. Right. But they don't talk about the lead up.
Dad:Definitely not as they're there. Right?
Isabella:Not I usually don't even think they're filming during the lead up.
Dad:Right.
Isabella:I think they probably take a break from filming to do this.
Dad:Reminder, that's a possible father daughter trip, BravoCon. Although Vegas, I don't know if that's like a great
Isabella:I mean, if it's BravoCon, then I'd do it. Yeah. I know you were talking about Charleston one. There are just not enough people to see there.
Dad:Yeah, and I have conflicts.
Isabella:Yeah. Let's see. We had Georgia tell Emira that Charlie has basically said other stuff about her, which hurt Emira, of course. We're gonna see that play out. We didn't really see how that's gonna go in this episode.
Isabella:But they all go to BravoCon, of course. Outside of Liam, who was not on the show last season, Liam is the guy who Ariana went on a date with. So he stays back while they all go to BravoCon.
Dad:He had some sort of short film premiere.
Isabella:Yes. But I also don't think he was invited anyway because the audience doesn't know him.
Dad:So,
Isabella:oh, Brooks. Brooks is making some comment about how he Oh, they're telling him that the government shut down, and that's why it's taking so long to wait at the airport. And listen, my God, do I wish I could be as ignorant as Brooks.
Dad:Right.
Isabella:He didn't even know. I mean, I feel like it was everyone knew that that was happening, but
Dad:I don't think he understands that the government does shut down sometimes. Right? The entire concept was foreign to him.
Isabella:Yeah. The way he reacted to that, he was like, what? The government shut down? Yeah. Well, that happens sometimes.
Isabella:So that was funny. I made another note that I forgot Gia was even on the show.
Dad:She didn't have a whole lot of activity, except for the dinner the night before BravoCon, where I think she raised some question like, oh, is there anything we need to clear the does anyone need to clear the air before tomorrow?
Isabella:Yeah. Shuts a little production pet there.
Dad:Right. Yeah.
Isabella:No. I I love Gia. I just I'm not seeing much from her. Need a little bit more. Know, I think I mentioned this last episode, we know that Ariana at some point is gonna hook up with Charlie.
Dad:Right.
Isabella:And I already wrote down, I cannot believe Ariana is gonna fumble Liam. Because he's sending like, he sent flowers and chocolates to the hotel room.
Dad:You ladies penalize people for being nice guys.
Isabella:Where did I say
Dad:that? Mean, said all
Isabella:women dying. I'm mad at her that she's gonna fumble this man for Charlie. Not saying she's gonna be dating Charlie, but like, oh, girl. He's perfect for I don't know.
Dad:Do you think that Hudson is gonna come back or is he gone for the season?
Isabella:I don't know. I don't know. I think that the only reason Hudson's even on the season is because Ariana is.
Dad:He doesn't need the money, apparently, might be His one of the few cast members
Isabella:dad owns Zaxby's.
Dad:Owned. I don't think he's an owner anymore, but he might still be involved in the company. But he might be one of the only ones who can afford to just not do it and skip the paycheck.
Isabella:Yeah.
Dad:I didn't have anything else from NextGen.
Isabella:Oh, Riley was making me laugh when they were at that dinner before BravoCon, and gosh, it's to bother me that I can't remember exactly what this was. But Charlie they were getting on Charlie for doing something again. Do you know what I'm talking about? Because Riley made this comment that I thought was funny. She's like, well, yes, that was the first time, and this would be you doing it again.
Isabella:Because he was like, what do you mean again? Like, I've only done it once. And Riley was like, well, yeah, and this would be Oh, again
Dad:I can't remember what it was.
Isabella:Oh, it's gonna bother me, but
Dad:It'll come to me, maybe.
Isabella:Yeah. And then they have they show Georgia finally washing her hands.
Dad:Right. Right.
Isabella:Which I don't know if I could go into that.
Dad:Yeah. Let's Yeah. We'll move on.
Isabella:And then what else? Oh, it ended with them bringing out a birthday cake for whoever's birthday it was. They were in the Shai. Middle Yes. And they were in the middle of fighting.
Isabella:I was like, just great timing on that.
Dad:And again, with the names, Shai, s h a I, I'm going to have to manually change that in the transcript, just like Emira is e m I r a, not a m I r a. Yeah. I'm so frustrated with these names. Just keep it easy. Charlie, Hudson, whatever, Brooks.
Isabella:Yeah.
Dad:Okay.
Isabella:Riley was on Watch What Happens Live after this episode. I wrote down a couple things that I just wanted to add. She said that she watched that episode where she had the whole controversy. She massively regrets what she did. She also regrets telling Ariana that she wasn't there for her.
Isabella:They've had a conversation. They're cool now. Because if you remember, I don't know if we mentioned this on the pod, but Ariana had said when she was on Watch What Happens Live that she and Riley weren't speaking at the time. So they have since made up. Riley has apologized because Riley saw the episode and saw Ariana being there for her.
Isabella:Riley also was talking about Georgia and how she really respects Georgia and might even like her.
Dad:Interesting.
Isabella:So I thought, yeah, it seems like they maybe are friends now. Georgia's grown on me too. I mean, know the whole washing hands thing is gross, but she's grown on me.
Dad:Well, if it was anyone else, would be very quick to say this could just be her people telling her, Look, you got to fix your image and maybe come in and not be so harsh on Georgia, publicly apologize to Ariana, and then move on. I mean, that's possible,
Isabella:Even but maybe I know you she's a love little bit of a word from Kandi.
Dad:It could be from a variety of people. Mean, she did say
Isabella:she spoke to her mom, and her mom was not pleased with her.
Dad:Right. Right.
Isabella:So she said she's she also said she's kind of learning her limits with alcohol. She's young. She's, what, 22?
Dad:Right.
Isabella:Right. So I still like her.
Dad:Same.
Isabella:So that's that's all I got for our shows.
Dad:Okay. Did you say we didn't announce this in the beginning, but the Real
Isabella:quick. I wanted to say, if anyone watches MTV's The Challenge, we have a new season. It's only on Paramount plus It's not even on MTV. This season has been going on I think I've mentioned this show to you before, dad. It's been going on since the real world started.
Isabella:I think this is season forty two. Should it still be on? Maybe not. It's not that good anymore. But for those of you that may watch it, we have have CT, we have Johnny Bananas, we have Cara Maria, we have Nelson, who Nelson actually is a crazy story.
Isabella:He got in a motorcycle accident. He ended up losing his leg, a DUI accident, by the way. Just I'm not skipping that part. He had his leg amputated, and so he now has a what's it called? Prosthetic.
Isabella:He has a prosthetic leg, came back to the show, and is now competing again, which is pretty impressive, to be honest. I mean Right. The show is very physically intensive. For anybody that hasn't watched it before, it's essentially the real world, but you're competing for money, and it's it's pretty intense competition. So good for him for being able to go back and do that.
Isabella:But for the first two episodes are out. It's fine.
Dad:So are you gonna cover it, or are you raising it to see
Isabella:other I people might in cover it similar to how I cover Big Brother, in that if something crazy happens, I might mention it.
Dad:Okay.
Isabella:So yeah, nothing on the Big Brother front this week. We're kind of nothing crazy is happening there. But yeah, that's kind of the extent to that. I am watching that, so if we've got anyone that wants me to cover it more, I'm more than happy to, because I'll be tuned in. Okay.
Isabella:Okay, dad. I would like to do a little bit of a preview on the twentieth anniversary Ultimate Girls Trip that's happening tonight.
Dad:UGT?
Isabella:UGT. So real quick, let me just mention entail. We have a bunch of OGs on the cast, Porsha Williams from Atlanta, Luann from OG New York, Kyle Richards from Beverly Hills, Vicki Gunvalson from OC, Lisa Barlow from Salt Lake City, Gizelle Bryant from Potomac, and Teresa Giudice from New Jersey. There will be a bunch of guests. I think they've said up to 60 something guests.
Isabella:Wow. So I guess essentially it's just all the Housewives are gonna be there.
Dad:You mean over the course of
Isabella:the season? Over the course of the season. Right. Yes. They're starting in OC, then they're going to Beverly Hills.
Isabella:From Beverly Hills, they're going to Atlanta, then Miami, and then New York City, and then the Berkshires.
Dad:Okay.
Isabella:Bluestone Manor. So Dorinda is gonna be hosting, so she's obviously a major guest.
Dad:She's definitely gonna try to make it nice.
Isabella:She will make it nice. Have total faith in her for making it nice. We The first couple minutes, Bravo actually put out already on their Instagram. They'll sometimes do this with a new season. They'll put out the first two minutes of the episode.
Isabella:Nini is on it immediately. I mean, they have her showing up knocking on Porsha's door. We have Nini at the start. So I am so unbelievably excited to see I'm sure I'm gonna be disappointed because I'm sure it's not gonna be as much NeNe as I want it to be. But I'm so excited to see NeNe Leakes tonight.
Isabella:I can't wait, really. I can't wait. They show a few flashbacks of her, I mean, white refrigerator quote, and I said what I said, which you have to. I mean, if you're going to bring NeNe Leakes back on TV, you've got to do a little bit of flash back.
Dad:Because some people aren't familiar with her.
Isabella:Yeah. If you're not, then I don't even know how you got to Bravo if you don't know NeNe Leakes. But I'm sure there are. In the trailer, there are a couple things that are going to come up. We saw Ashley flirting with Ashley Darby from Potomac, flirting with Mauricio Umansky, who is Kyle Richards' ex husband.
Isabella:They're not divorced, they're separated, But that could be a whole thing. I also saw that Teresa and Heather Gay are apparently gonna go at it. Interesting. And I guess Andy Cohen's in the middle of it somehow. So I don't know what they're gonna all do on these episodes.
Isabella:Clearly, everyone's gonna be in the mix, even Andy Cohen.
Dad:Right.
Isabella:But I'm excited. So I was gonna say, in honor of this, I think for each person we should say either our favorite moment or favorite quote, or even if it's not our favorite, but just whatever you can think of. I wrote down a couple.
Dad:Okay.
Isabella:I say we start with Porsha, and I'll just go first. My favorite thing from Porsha is her line, Who said that? Because we as a family use that all the time. We're always referencing it, Who said that? Who said that?
Dad:Right. Okay. That's a good one. I would say, Wouldn't you thought there were two sixty five days in a year?
Isabella:Yeah. Yeah. There's, of course, the underground railroad comment, Well, where would where is he who's driving the train? So that's what I got for Porsha. Do you have any do you want to do next or
Dad:Sure. I'll top go with the Teresa so I can steal it from you. The "prostitution whore!".
Isabella:It's definitely
Dad:The defining moment.
Isabella:I didn't even put that because I feel like it's the most obvious.
Dad:So
Isabella:I wrote down just some Teresa isms. She Teresa, we love you. She's not the smartest in the bunch. I love it when she mispronounces words or even just says it incorrectly.
Dad:You
Isabella:use this all the time, ingredientses.
Dad:I don't say that, if that's what you're saying.
Isabella:You do. I've heard you say it before.
Dad:Ingredientses?
Isabella:Yeah. I think you're making fun of her. Oh, okay. Let's make
Dad:sure the audience knows that
Isabella:Yeah. No. It's a reference, and I you're making a reference.
Dad:I no. I think you're confusing it with from Jersey Shore with the situation where he would plural make everything plural in certain situations. And so we say, do you want some chicken chicken nugget nuggetses?
Isabella:Yeah. Well, whatever it's from.
Dad:That's where it's from.
Isabella:You do that a lot. The Dortors, My Dortors, Blow My Casket, I mean, they're just there are so many that I can't go over, and most of them are better in context. But she's just the way that she speaks, just the Teresa isms. I mean, she's just hilarious, and I don't think she means to be, but she is.
Dad:Right. Are we gonna do one for every one
Isabella:mean, we can, it's not if you can think of something. If you can't, then which I was gonna say for Kyle Richards, yeah, I know she's a legend, but does she have any iconic quotes?
Dad:Yeah, you're gonna have to run with that one because remember, I didn't watch that going all the way back, so I'm only a relatively recent convert to watching the show.
Isabella:Well, here's the thing I'll say about Kyle. I loved Kyle when it was her and her sister Kim. And Kim, I really hope she's doing well. She was always an alcoholic on the show, like a bad one. Like, she needed serious help.
Isabella:She was
Dad:As opposed to a good one?
Isabella:Well, you She know what I'm trying to was deep in alcoholism. Hope she's doing well. Shout out Kim Richards. But I think the older days of Beverly Hills were so much better. And Kyle Kyle was kind of always known as the the backbone of the group, like the one that was keeping everyone together, the one like the voice of reason.
Isabella:So I give Kyle credit for how long she's been on the show, but I'm I'm gonna be honest, I don't think she's as iconic as some of these other ones.
Dad:Right.
Isabella:Luann.
Dad:I've got one there.
Isabella:I've got one too.
Dad:The one about stop being so uncool.
Isabella:Don't be all uncool.
Dad:Yeah. Yeah. Hey.
Isabella:With the sunglasses on. Yep.
Dad:And falling in the bush. Yeah.
Isabella:Yeah. Luann's got a lot. I mean, Luann is really one of those that you could just pull from everywhere. My favorite that I use all the time, and it makes me upset because most people I'm hanging out with don't understand the reference. My favorite is when she is doing talk to text in her phone, talking to her now ex husband Tom, how could you do this to me, question mark.
Isabella:I reference that all the time with my friends, and I never really get much of a response. So it's just kind of me laughing to myself like, that was funny. But that is one of my how could you do this to me question mark.
Dad:Okay. So I do that sometimes in the car when someone texts me and I respond, and if I want to say exclamation point, I'll say it. I'm pretty sure that talk to text on CarPlay works where it doesn't write out
Isabella:I know. Exclamation point. So It's
Dad:just But I'm closer in age to her, so that's my excuse.
Isabella:Yeah. Also, her song, Money Can't Buy You Class, I know we we make fun of it, but that song, when we watched those episodes, it was stuck in my head for days.
Dad:Yeah. It's definitely an earworm.
Isabella:It is catchy. Right. Yep. Her other song's not as much, but Money can't buy glass.
Dad:Good rendition. How many
Isabella:times did we sing that?
Dad:A
Isabella:lot. So, yeah. We love Luann . I'm so excited to see her on the show. Let's see, who else do we have?
Isabella:Lisa Barlow. Lisa Barlow. My favorite Lisa Barlow quote was when she is in the Sprinter van and Jen Shah is getting caught by the FBI and NYPD, and Lisa Barlow is in the Sprinter van talking to her however many number of lawyers, seven lawyers I think it was. She goes, I'm literally shaking. I'm shaking.
Isabella:I'm literally shaking right now.
Dad:But she wasn't.
Isabella:She wasn't. It's become a big meme. I mean, I see this used constantly as a meme, even for people that I'm sure don't even know where it came from.
Dad:Right.
Isabella:The other thing I think is so funny about Lisa Barlow is how she is so unbelievably entitled, but in the most hilarious way you could possibly think of. She she had a whole meltdown about not being in first class on her flight back from, I don't know where they even The Caribbean maybe.
Dad:Right. Yep.
Isabella:She freaked out that she was not off. She was like, I don't I can't do this. I'm gonna have to book another flight. I might have to charter a jet. She had a whole bit about losing her $60,000 ring in an airport bathroom that which, don't get me wrong, that would absolutely suck.
Dad:But
Isabella:she made it everybody's problem. Her whole thing about if she doesn't have glam, she's not
Dad:that was, yes, that was the most ridiculous. She's not gonna be on the show, right?
Isabella:Baby Gorgeous, I mean, her Wendy's, her Kit Kats, She's got a lot. Lisa Barlow's got a lot to her.
Dad:Yeah.
Isabella:Do you have anything or?
Dad:No.
Isabella:Okay. Let's okay. I guess our last one is gonna be Gizelle Bryant, who similar to I'm not going to compare her to Kyle because Gizelle is objectively more funny than Kyle Richards, but I'm also not going to say I think she has any super iconic quotes either. I think Gizelle's kind of more dry. I think her dry humor comes out a lot.
Isabella:She's really, really good in confessionals and being shady. Yes. She's very shady, but I think it's more of you have to know the context to kind of get Gizelle's humor.
Dad:Right. There's no good one liner. At least that I can think of.
Isabella:Right. Yeah. I couldn't think of any either, but that doesn't mean that she's not hilarious.
Dad:I think
Isabella:she is. Else you want to say about these women?
Dad:Nope. I'll watch tonight. I'll have to defer House of Dragons I for another
Isabella:I want to say I didn't include Vicki because I that's my blind spot on Bravo. I've never seen OC. I know some of her lines. I do just because I'm
Dad:You could ask your mother because that's one of the ones that we watched in real time. Right? When you had to wait I guess we were watching them in real time now, but once every week, and I'm definitely gonna cut that shit out. That just sounds stupid, but we watched it in real time back in the day.
Isabella:Yeah. Back when it She
Dad:is wow. She is crazy.
Isabella:Yeah. I know her things. I know her whoop it up. I know the whole family van thing. I know her her most iconic scene is her showing up at her son's dorm room unannounced with a 12 pack of beer.
Dad:Yeah. And I don't even remember that, but but that reminds me when I brought beer to your dorm room when we
Isabella:were pulling TV set. You wanna tell that story?
Dad:You can say.
Isabella:When I was moving into my freshman dorm room, mind you, no alcohol, like zero tolerance alcohol policy. He thinks it's funny to he was at Walmart picking up a couple things from my dorm room. He decided to pick up either a six pack or a 12 pack of Miller Lite.
Dad:Yep.
Isabella:And you walk in with it all smiley and giggly and happy, and mom's like, What do you think what is wrong with you? We're in this is a freshman dorm room.
Dad:Yeah, but I'm an adult, and I'm a parent, and so the rules don't apply to
Isabella:me because course school hasn't they do. Even It's a tolerance policy.
Dad:School hadn't even started yet. We're moving in, so I'm like, there's no one that's gonna
Isabella:The pay for RAs were there? They didn't
Dad:see. It was a little bit awkward with your roommate's parents there. I can't remember if we met them before or if that was the first time meeting them and of course your mother was like, Oh, great. The first time meeting the parents of her roommate and you bring in beer. I said, I also brought a TV.
Dad:I mean, it wasn't empty handed. It wasn't just beer. I had to go get a new television because we broke the other one or it was broken when we were bringing it in. So, yeah. Okay.
Dad:So, hey, maybe I don't remember that episode because even though your mother and I watched it in real time back in the day, I don't think I've watched every episode or every season.
Isabella:Yeah. So other things I'm not watching right now, just real quick and we'll wrap up, I'm not watching House of Stassi. It's on my list though, it's on Hulu. Stassi Stroh, if you're not aware of Stassi from Vanderpump Rules. I've heard mixed reviews on it.
Dad:She was also on Vanderpump Villa.
Isabella:Yeah. Yeah. So she has her own show now. I'm not sure if I'm gonna watch it or not. And then what I will be watching is Quarterback.
Isabella:I love a sports documentary, so I will be watching that. And I think we I had a few options for our game, but I think we should probably move it to next week, because I think we a little bit underestimated how much extra time we have with the lack of Love Island, so we're getting Well,
Dad:how long you would drone on and on and on about UGT.
Isabella:No, it
Dad:was good. Maybe the problem was I talked too much this time. So anyway, let's do defer the game to next week, and that's all I have. Anything else?
Isabella:No, I think that's it. We are looking forward to Ultimate Girls Trip along with all of our other shows. We've got reunions going on, so
Dad:Oh, yeah. Usually is the capstone of the season, so looking forward to it.
Isabella:Yeah. So again, as always, thanks for listening. Comment, rate, review.
Dad:Like, share, rate, forward to your friends whatever you can, and we'll see you next week. Thanks. Thanks.
Isabella:That's our episode. Thanks for hanging out with us.
Dad:Thanks for listening.

Dad:And tell a friend who'd get it.
