Hey, if you want to email the show, you absolutely can. We'd love to hear from you. It's WakeUp Classy97 at gmail.com or hit us up on socials. You can do that at Classy97KLCE everywhere.

Our daughter's birthday is coming up, and uh, she told us that the only thing she wants is mozzarella. Well, she wants a gift, but what she wants to eat is mozzarella sticks.

So who has the best mozzarella sticks? Or should we find out where to get mozzarella sticks and just go get a bunch of them from different places?

Ooh, that could be fun.

Like a like a tour of mozzarella sets. Oh and I could even like do some homemade ones with uh like breaded uh cheese sticks. Uh what do they call those? Uh string cheese. Yeah. Breaded string cheese. I can make my own and see if she likes those better. Interesting. What do you dip yours in?

Uh marinara.

You like it? You like them best in marinara? Yes. I don't like ranch. I've I've heard they're very good in honey. Ooh. Yeah.

I bet that is really good, actually. Like a hot honey.

Ooh, a hot honey would be nice. Yeah. Hot honey, all the things. I love a hot honey. Yeah.

Well, now I want mozzarella sticks. Crispy. I don't know. Homemade?

I don't even know where sells them. We gotta go find some mozzarella.

What about like, haven't you seen the ones that are like a bigger piece of mozzarella? It's not a stick, it's more like I like the size of like a hash brown, like a McDonald's hash brown. That's nice.

It's more like a mozzarella cake where you take, you know, you just take the the low moisture mozzarella and you slice it and then bread that in like a cake. I want that. I kind of want that too. That sounds good, huh?

Okay, there's uh quite a few places here in town where you can get mozzarella sticks.

We're gonna have to do the tour of mozzarella. I like that idea. I'm not mad about it. Feels like a birthday gift for all of us. Yeah, it does. It's a good idea.

Mozzarella stick tour.

But uh, but then as far as a gift goes, any ideas? What do you think?

No, I am struggling hardcore. Yeah, I know. I don't I don't know. I'm really I don't know.

What do you get? A 17-year-old.

I don't know. I had a couple of ideas, and then I said, what about this? And she said, that's not a birthday gift. And I went, okay. Oh. I don't know when I would get that for you, other than your birthday. So uh-huh.

We'll do that anyway and go, told you it's a birthday gift. Look at that. We got it. We got a little while. Like, we got a couple weeks to figure it out. So that's all.

Just a couple of weeks. Anyway. All right. Well, how about today's show? You want to do that? Let's get to it. Hey, good morning. It's it's here. It's happening. It is happening. It's Monday. Woo!

Who's excited for a Monday?

Yeah, you're selling that excitement, I'll tell you that much. Uh I'm excited uh that it's that it's a Monday because this is um this is a an interesting week. Yeah. This is sort of the the unofficial kickoff to fall, the end of summer, so it's a transitional week. And I think as we kind of get closer and closer to the weekend, things get a little bit like uh less serious.

Because we got that long weekend. We got a lot of people that are gonna be uh, you know, out of the office. There's like the fairs kicking off. I mean, there's just so much going on as we kind of work our way to the weekend. So I think this week is gonna go by fast. It always does. Yeah. The weeks always go by fast. Yeah, I just mean there's just so much build-up to the weekend. This one's gonna cruise.

What do they say? The year. What do they say? The years are long, but the days are short. Well, is that what they say? I think so.

The days are long, but the years are short, I think is probably more accurate. Because you gotta get through these long days, and then you go, whoa, it's been a year already. Yeah, maybe. I think that's probably the way the saying goes.

Um I've noticed. I mean, this is the way the world works, but I've noticed the mornings are getting a little bit darker and darker. Yeah. And this morning it was a little chilly. I noticed that. Put on my heater in my car.

But you didn't put on your seat heater yet. I kind of forgot I had it. That would have been nice for it.

It's been a long time since I've had to use it. You haven't had to hit that button. Sometimes I put it on because my back hurts. Oh. That's how old I am.

The years go by so fast, don't they? As we sit on the front porch in our rocking chairs and drink lemonade and reminisce. Who has time for that? The years they go by so fast. I got no time for lemonade. Got places to be stuff to do.

Well, uh, anyway, we're here. It is uh Labor Day week build up into Labor Day weekend uh this weekend. Looking forward to it though. Looking forward to a little R and R. Yeah, same. That'll be nice. Yeah. But we just gotta get through the week and then we'll, you know, kick back five days.

That's it. That's all we gotta do. Yeah, no big deal. We got this. Yeah. You got this. Get your Monday pumped. Okay. All right.

Here's your good news. Today's kind of a heartwarming adoption story. If you can handle that. Uh, it's about a dog, not a not a child. Just to just to clarify. Uh, there's a TikTok creator named Rachel who calls herself an animal influencer, and she visited a shelter and she asked the shelter to meet their least wanted dog. Oh, which turned out to be a pit bull named Nancy, uh, who has received zero adoption applications. Oh, Nancy.

And so Nancy arrived at the shelter after her owner died and was very depressed. And so Rachel said, Well, what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna visit Nancy and I'm gonna take her on outings every week. And so she shared videos of this playful, affectionate dog, Nancy, who loves toys, kisses, time at the park.

She also helped work on Nancy's training, which would then boost her chances of finding a forever home. The videos gave viewers this completely different perspective on Nancy specifically, but also has started a big conversation about pit bulls in general because they are disproportionately represented at U.S. animal shelters.

There are several of them, whether they are full on pits or they are uh you know, mixed breed um pit bulls, they there's a lot of them in the shelter world. And uh, and so Nancy has uh been adopted. Nancy found a forever home, which is not by Rachel, uh not by Rachel, no, it's gonna be Rachel. Nope, but uh Rachel certainly helped get Nancy the attention that she needed in order to be adopted, which is great.

So Nancy's no longer in the shelter, which is phenomenal, and the conversation about pits in the uh animal shelters is uh is growing, which is great news because there's plenty of them that would love a forever home.

Yeah, uh, that are great dogs. So uh very, very nice story about Nancy who has now been adopted, uh, which is good, and that's good news.

My watch told me that I had a challenging night of sleep. Oh, is that right? And then it said, focus on listening to your body to feel your best today.

Oh a challenging night of sleep. Yeah.

If I focused on listening to my body, my body would say, let's go back to sleep.

That's a good that's a let's listen to your body. That sounds like a good idea. Go back to bed.

In order to feel my best, I gotta go take a nap. Can I listen also? Yes.

Okay, super. I'm listening, and it says take a nap. I like it. I'm in. Uh let's go. I wanted to see. I haven't looked at like my sleep score in a little bit uh little time here.

82 sleep score. 82. Seven hours and 25 minutes of sleep. That's not enough sleep. Let's see. It seems like it would be enough sleep. Seven, it's like almost seven and a half hours. Why isn't that enough sleep? Let's see.

I got uh seven hours thirty-eight minutes, and I got a hundred percent score. You did. Yeah.

Did you put your mask on though? That's what I'm that's what I'm looking at. 100%. Look at you. 100%.

I did feel like I didn't move much. I couldn't tell you. Yeah.

Because I feel like I got some good sleep because I was sound asleep for a very long time. So 10:31, is when I went to bed. Is that right? Mm-hmm. It's not bad.

I mean, there's been way worse nights.

Okay, here's what's silly. This app that I'm reading, like it tells me that I had a challenging night of sleep, la-di daddy-da. And then I go into it to learn more, and it says a solid night's rest. This is the kind of quality sleep needed to build a strong foundation for the your day. That doesn't match. You're lying.

Your your app is dysfunctional. It's telling you two things. I know that seem like they couldn't be true at the same time. Yeah. Hmm.

So what was it? Did I get good sleep? Did I not get good sleep?

Let's just focus on listening to your body. I gotta listen to my body.

Just listen to your body. My body My body says, hey, girl. Yeah. Let's go back to sleep. Hey. Hey, girl. That's what my body says. I gotta see. How does your body talk to you? Oh, it's like, what are you doing to me, dog?

A recent software algorithm update that detects brief nighttime awakenings and light sleep more accurately than before. You have a recent update. Mine with your with your watch. Oh. That says uh you get this and a lower score because now it's detecting brief nighttime awakenings and light sleep more accurately than before. So to improve your rest, maintain consistency. Uh make sure that you're reaching those sleep targets. And uh and then monitor things like your heart rate, your like your resting heart rate, your oxygen saturation. Make sure those are trending. Yes. How much oxygen is in your blood.

I got it. You know?

Yeah, all of those things can help you have better night's sleep. Hmm. Okay. Well, I gotta listen to my body. And that says go back to bed. Yeah, okay. Check. I'm gonna go tell my boss. Yeah. Yeah. My watch said I gotta listen to my body.

You need to find a boggle friend. I know. And what I mean by that is you've gotta have somebody who one enjoys playing boggle, and two, can give you the competition that you need. You ain't gonna find it here. Either one of those. One, I don't enjoy playing boggle. Two, I can't give you the competition you need.

I like playing boggle with the family.

Is it because you smoke us?

No, I like the game. Like, yeah, I win fine, but I like playing the game. You do like playing boggle. You sure do. I also like word searches. I know, I know. But I always have ever since I was a kid. I can look at the page and see the words. I don't like there's some sort of pattern recognition thing that happens. And I I think that's what works.

We played some boggle over the weekend, and you just kept saying one more round. One more round. Just because I love it. I know you do. It's so fun. I I don't know.

We were playing it on the TV, which which is fun because you get to swipe the words with your with your hand. You don't have to write them down super fast. Um, which I think takes time to write when you're yeah, when you're playing, yeah, and you have the little timer going.

Uh huh. I think you're at a disadvantage with the timer uh and writing because that that limits your speed. Like if I could just say the words and you know, or swipe them, like I can I could have a higher word per average. I was just looking it up because I wanted to know like if you wanted to be a competitive boggle player, how many words per minute do you need to have to compete? Okay, a casual player. Do you remember what your word per minute was?

Yeah. Uh hold on, I'm gonna I think it was eight. Yep, eight words per minute. Words per minute. And go ahead. You're better than casual. My longest word was five letters. Okay. Okay, go ahead.

Casual players will get 10 to 20 words per game. Is that about where you were at?

No, I got I got eight.

I'm gonna have right. That's eight words per minute.

Okay. Sorry. What was the thing you just said?

How many words were you getting in a game? I don't know.

Uh yes, I do. It was about like 17.17 in a game. Uh-huh. And I was getting 32, 45.

Yeah. Like up there, right? So just this is fun because experienced players get between 25 and 40. Competitive slash expert players are 50 to 80 plus words. Uh-oh. Eighty words. I gotta practice. I gotta train.

Okay. Can you need to know more words? Can you play by yourself? I guess. I don't want to, I don't enjoy it. It's fun to see what other words people found.

They're the same ones that you find.

No, the unique words show up and they get more points.

I know, but I it's it was rare that I ever got unique words. So it's not fun for me.

It does say that if you want to improve your score, work on pattern scanning strategies or how to spot common letter prefixes and suffixes. Okay. Ings, ERS, like whenever I see letter patterns like that together, that's where I go, there's other letters that are gonna work with those. Same. I don't believe it. I do that. I go eight. I know, eats, uh ear.

R. My letter, my words are usually three letters long. It's not my favorite game. But I know that you like it. I do. You just have to find somebody who likes to play the same amount that you do, and who is good at it. Josh needs a boggle friend. If you like to play boggle and you're pretty good at it, call Josh at 208.

Yeah, 5'25. You gotta be in that 40 words game zone. That's where I'm at. I'm trying, you gotta be like plus 30.

Yeah. If you're out there 38, please don't call. No, that's not. You gotta be, you gotta be above average to play with Josh.

If you are specifically saying that you want someone who's like gonna challenge that's how I get better. Yeah, oh I know. I need I need to that's what I'm saying. You know, like I like seeing the stats, and I like seeing that I get 40 plus words, and that's good. But if I'm gonna reach 50 to 80 in the same time frame. Oh, I know. I gotta get moved. Oh, I'd be knowing. Yeah? Yep.

Josh needs uh boggle competitor. Why don't you do it? I don't want to.

We have the actual game in the uh camp trailer. You want to play that one? Oh yeah, even the noise of the of the letter dice rattling around in the box. You're like, not that game. Not that game.

I like games that are more fun.

You want to play Shut the Box?

That's another game that you love that is not my favorite.

How are you at the Sudoku?

Our daughter has decided that she likes a show called Dance Moms.

Yeah. And not new episodes or anything. We're talking about the old episodes.

She's all wrapped up in the dance mom drama world. Yeah. So she was watching it on the TV the other day. Yesterday, was it yesterday?

Yeah, over the weekend and yesterday.

And you and I kind of sat down to watch with her, and we were getting caught up on the drama, and we knew which moms were awful and which

moms were the good ones, and how the dance teacher's not so great, and she yells at certain kids, and we are all caught up on the dance mom drama.

Well, we're all caught up on the dance drama, dance mom drama from forever ago.

Like uh from season two.

I didn't know I was missing any of it, and like the the dancers are old, like way older now. Yeah, they are.

I mean, because that was probably what, 10 years ago, I think we're on the way more than that.

How old do you think Maddie Ziegler is in that season two?

Uh I think I would probably say she's about 10. She's 23 now. Whoa. So there's um some time has elapsed. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.

That's 10 years ago, this show, at least. If you were gonna say she was 13, that show is 10 years ago.

I know that she came and she sat down on the couch and she said, I'm gonna watch TV. And I go, ooh, what are you gonna watch? Wait and sat down with her. I said, I'll watch something with you. And she went, and I said, What are you gonna watch? She goes, Well, I was gonna watch Dance Moms, but I know you guys don't like it. So watch Dance Moms. Watch whatever you want. I watch Dance Moms with you for a minute. Turns out I don't like watching dance moms. Yeah. No kidding. No kidding. As it turns out, that's not a show for me. Yeah.

Uh it it is um action-packed, that show, isn't it?

I just don't like the way that the dance teacher treats the kids. Some of the moms. I don't like the name. Who? The dance teacher. Abby Miller.

Yeah, I think that's right. Abby Lee Miller. Yeah, that's her. Yeah. Boy, she's something else, huh?

Yelling at the kids. And I'm at, they're just children. Yeah. But how else are they gonna learn? I don't know. That's uh that's not a show for me. I'm not necessarily a reality TV show.

On Sunday, September 6th, you can uh zoom with Abby Lee. They're doing she's doing warm-ups, techniques, uh she's doing a bunch of stuff. Are they still you can still uh go check out uh dance lessons with her, she's still active. Are there still doing it?

Current episodes of Dance Moms. I don't know. I'm looking that up right now. Because I think Emory is, yep, current episodes are available under the reboot series, Dance Moms, a new era.

Okay. Well, she's got a ways to go. I think she's only on season two. Oh. I just looked. There's there's more drama coming. No way.

The Ziegler family does not talk to Abby Lee Miller. No way. No way. It is insane. Is it? Don't give her any spoilers. Who, Emery? Yeah. Okay, I know. She'll be mad. That's right. Don't be like, you know what I learned today?

They don't talk anymore. And she'll be like, that's coming up in a show. Don't tell me. No, I'm glad I never got into it. I'm still not into it. No.

They had to do the episode we saw, they had to do like a big vote in the dance group. Who was gonna have the solo?

Was it gonna be Chloe or was it gonna be Maddie? Maddie.

Yeah. Who was gonna win between the two of them to get first place in the solo. It was a big deal.

It was a big deal. It was really intense. All of the moms are like.

I just really like watching the moms on the sideline have their, you know, convos. They that seems healthy. They're really I mean, that's the real show, isn't it? Like Abby and the dancers, like that's one part of the. Well, it is called dancing. I know it is, but the drama the moms bring to the table. That's the real show.

The side conversations they're having, jabbing at each other. Your daughter's the crybaby. Yeah, stab stab. That's the show. That's the show. What's hooked Emory? Yeah. Well, now that's what's really going on in every organization and child activity. Taekwondo moms. Oh, your kid doesn't say huh ya. Right.

I want to watch Taekwondo.

That's what I'm saying. There's a lot of them. Some of them just sit in the car because they can't stand the other taekwondo moms. That's me. Yeah.

I'm not sitting in there. I have to go talk to people.

No, they're not gonna happen because I know she's gonna be here. I can see her big hair through the window.

Mine is normally, I just want to read my book. Oh, is that right? While my kid is at practice. I don't I don't want to socialize. Yeah. So I'll just just leave me alone while I read my book. That's all. That's all.

I get 30 minutes of uninter uninterrupted time. Yeah. Leave me alone.

Okay. Booster parents. I could never be uh I can never be on those shows. A Taekwondo mom or a dance mom because they'd be like, where's Emery's mom? Oh, she's in the car reading. She provides no drama.

No, she's not part of the show. They just talk about you inside. Taekwondo moms are like, this one.

That's fine. Yeah. And talk about me. That's fine. I'm reading. What are you reading? Depends. Oh. On the day. Okay. Currently?

No, I just meant like what's the big book. Like maybe you could do like a they check in with you and they go, What are you reading? And you're like, oh, I'm reading uh Tale of Two Cities today. They're like, that's nice. That's nice. Yeah. Back to the drama.

Well, right now we're gonna just talk about uh why pudding cups are so small.

Why are pudding cups so small? Do you feel like you don't get enough pudding in the cup? Jell Oudding applesauce. Fruit cocktail.

That's fine. I don't that's fine. That's a fine portion. It's the same size as the- I didn't notice. a little plastic cup of peaches.

Yeah, that's fine. That's a fine portion size. Pudding, jello applesauce.

Listen, I'm a number 10 can chocolate pudding kind of guy. So you're speaking my language when you're talking about the pudding cup being too small. I will not eat an entire number 10 can of pudding, but boy do I love it.

Yada yada yada, they say I'm looking, it says. Yada yada yada. I'm I'm reading it limits calories, sugar, and fat.

to a deemed appropriate amount. That's what I'm saying. Deemed appropriate by who? You don't control my pudding intake.

And they also say that it's a lunchbox convenient size. I will agree with that.

My lunchbox is big. Give me a bigger size of pudding. Put two in. Yeah.

Ta-da. Two snack packs.

Two snack bags. You're getting crazy.

I know, I know. Wild, right? So uh this conversation came up in the house. Yeah. Because we were talking about the applesauce in the in the fridge. Now, apparently I thought that was our daughter's applesauce.

No, that's she doesn't like that. That's for us. I bought I found that out. Actually, because I found a zucchini cake that you can make with applesauce. And I actually just remembered that that's what I bought applesauce for. Nice. Just now. Just now. Put it on the calendar.

Make zucchini cake. What's the difference between the zucchini cake and the zucchini brownies? Couldn't tell ya. I think you just applesauce. Oh, okay. You think I'm just what? I don't know. Okay, I was looking.

It says, why don't they sell larger tubs of pudding cubs? Of pudding cups. And it says You know you could make your own they sell instant pudding packets. Are you all right? I'm trying to have a conversation with you. Could you stop sneezing? Go on. If you buy the instant pudding packets, you can make a half a gallon at a time.

So then you could have as much pudding as you wanted. Hold on. Okay. I'm having a sneezing attack. Oh no, we know. So I just want more pudding, is what it boils down to.

I heard if you get the pudding pack, you can make up to a gallon by yourself. This is why I can't do this show alone. Why? You alright? No. I'll probably be okay. Live radio. You know? Sneezes happen. I'm working on another one. We turned on lights in here. I think it's messing with me. Okay. Well, let's turn them off.

Here he goes. He goes again. You can't just have one. That's that's the killer. No, it's against the rules. You have like 18 in a row. Right. I'll be okay. So anyway, I want I won't pick your pudding cups. That's it. That's all. Yeah. So that's all. Okay. Hold on. One more. Push that button.

Bought me some overalls a couple of weeks ago. And I finally felt like it was cool enough over the weekend to wear them. They're awesome. They are awesome, actually.

You wanted to do a photo shoot. Not a photo shoot.

You said I just wanted one photo.

You said, I got on these cute overalls. Let's go take a photo. That's a photo shoot.

One photo. I just needed one photo. It took more than that. It took more than that because you said, Why is your hand doing that? Stop making that face. Look cute. And I said, I I didn't say look cute.

Look cute.

It was a struggle. I am not uh very photogenic. I disagree.

Well, why did it take so many pictures to get a cute one then? I don't know.

Anyway, I wore the overalls. I really like them. I don't know why I'm not wearing overalls every day. They're awesome. They were awesome. They were comfortable. Yeah. They had so many pockets. How many pockets did we determine that they had? 15?

So many. Fourteen at least.

There was a hook for my sunglasses, a loop for my hammer. Well, about that. Why are you carrying around a hammer? Because you never know when you're gonna need it.

When are you gonna need a hammer? Anytime. What are you no? Do not put a hammer in the hammer loop. Why? Because all you're gonna do is walk around going, oh, I have a hammer. Knock, knock, knock. Oh, I have a hammer. Knock knock knock.

What else am I gonna put in the loop? Nothing. I have to put something. Let me talk about the problem with the overalls. going Go into the bathroom. Was it a problem? Yeah. Because here's what you have to you have to unbutton your shoulder straps. Right. Then you have to make sure that the so shoulder straps don't fall into the toilet bowl. True. Because that I could see that potentially being an issue.

Especially if you're in a hurry. Sure. Because once you unhook them, they're loose hanging. Okay. And because I am a woman of a certain age. Okay. And I've had children. You gotta hustle. I have to hustle. I got plus also I'm going to the bathroom a lot during the day.

So that was a bit of a struggle. time I was like Okay. Buttons.

So many shoulder straps. Then when you're finished with your business, you gotta make sure everything is tucked away.

Before you pull them back up and do the straps. I got you. It is a process.

But but other than that, other than that, I liked them a lot. I cared for them a

great alternative uses for the hammer loop. Okay. Pry bar mount. No, don't get excited about a pry bar or mallet. We can use that. Flashlight. Flash.

That's gonna be a big flashlight.

Heavy duty or right angle flashlight. Pliers and wrenches.

I kind of want it to be a flashlight because then you could just like pull it out. Much better. Yeah. Shine your light on somebody.

Where have you been? What are you doing? Tape measure. You can clip it on there instead of on your pocket. Yeah. Tuck your work gloves through the loop when your hands need to be bare. No.

What did you say? Pry bar. What was that one? Mallet. Pry bar mallet. I gotta look it up. Pry bar and mallet.

Not the not one thing. That's multiple things.

A pry bar and a mallet. How are they both gonna fit in there? Not at the same time, Bub.

You're doing too much with the pockets you've been given. I'm gonna take pockets away from you again and keep this up. Yeah.

I'm gonna get uh I think the flashlight's the best option.

Keys and carabiners, so you could hang your uh keychains, your utility knives, a roll of electrical tape. Nope. No. I like the flashlight. On a carabiner, stop with your flashlight. Water bottle. No.

Who's gonna carry a water bottle in their leg loop? It's not me. Flashlight for me. Or a tape measure. I like that idea too. Think of everything you could get measured. I'm gonna carry a flashlight and a tape measure. Uh-huh. Mm-hmm. Here's what happened. I had so many pockets. Guess what I carried? Nothing. My chapstick. Yeah.

Did you lose it because there were so many places to put it?

No, I put it in the one pocket that I always use because I I'm not used to having so many pockets. Plus also, if I stuff stuff in all those pockets, then I'm gonna have to remember to get all that stuff out at the end of the day so that I can wash my overalls.

That's too many things to try and remember. It's too many pockets. I just need four good pockets. I don't need 15. There's too many. You don't have to fill them all.

I walk around with empty pockets all day. It's fine. I just need a flashlight for the loop. Because then you can pull it out and do that face where you've been. Huh? Like you're interrogating somebody.

How is the flashlight gonna fit in that loop though? It's gonna fall out.

It goes into the pocket below. It's gonna be one of those real long mag lights that take all the D batteries. Yeah. They're real heavy. Yeah. It's gonna be one of those. Oh like the ones the state cops pull out and they tap on your window. They got little torches now. They don't use the big ones like that. But those were those were something else. Got too expensive to buy all those D batteries all the time. And then they'd have to smack it when they went into a spooky house. They can't be having that. You just can't. No, but I could. You can't be having people having to smack a flashlight walking into a spooky house.

I think you have one of those b those flashlights. I do not. I think I've seen it. I do not. Okay, well, that's something I have to purchase. No. Every time I wear my overalls, I'll be like, where's my flashlight?

That thing weighs a million pounds. You're not carrying that around. Yes, I am. Maybe without batteries in it. If that thing's full of batteries, it takes like six huge D batteries. Just gonna keep looking at it. You're gonna have to hold it with two hands because it's heavy. We'll see Walking around like this like that. Ridiculous.

Somebody's like, I can't find this thing. Oh, let me help you out.

Yeah, I don't need that. You just going like, anybody need to look under something? I'll light it up. No.

That's exactly what you need.

Oh, I want to talk about you posting pictures of me on the internet and then people being mean to me. That's what I want to talk about.

There were a couple of people who are not so nice. I didn't think anybody was outrightly me.

No, they didn't say he looks like a toad. No. Didn't say that. No. But they also didn't not say that I look like a toad. So there's that.

There's been a couple of different people recently who have said that you resemble Matt Damon. Sure. And so I put up a side by side. Yeah. And there were a lot of people that were like, oh yeah. And then a lot of people were like, yeah. I there's the resemblance. Somebody said you look like pistol. Who's that? True. You do. Never heard. Oh, I'm not going to give out names.

No, no. Throw it again. Who's that? Oh, whose pistol? That's you. No one calls me that. So I don't know. No one's going to say that. So I don't know who that is.

There were a couple of people that were like, nope. Not even kinda. Fine.

And maybe they're gatekeeping Matt Damon. Maybe they're really like big Matt Damon fans, and they're like, no, he doesn't look like Matt Damon. I love Matt Damon and he doesn't look like Matt Damon. Maybe that's it. It's fine.

I wasn't saying that you were identical to Matt Damon. It was like there is a little bit of a resemblance. Now here's what I'm talking about. This as I was going through and reading some of the comments, uh some of the comments were getting likes that were not from us. And I was like, oh, who's liking these comments? Matt Damon's fan page.

Is this an official page? Is this a they have a blue check mark? Are they like a legitimate fan page? What's the stuff is this just some dude in his basement runs a Matt Damon fan page?

I don't know. I don't know. But it makes me laugh because how did he find it?

Does he just spend all day Googling Matt Damon's name? And whenever a page comes up, he's like, ah, somebody's talking about my Matt Damon. I'm gonna go like those comments. How's that happen? I don't know. Matt Damon fan page.

It's the actual it's called Matt Damon fans page. Fans. Yeah.

Matt Damon fans page. It's called it has the word page in it. Matt Damon fans page.

Yeah. Legit. It's legit. Who runs this thing? I don't know. I can't find it. This is on Facebook. Yeah. That's where this is. Yes.

So if I go to Matt Damon fans page. Correct.

Let's see. I yeah, I looked it up. I don't know if this is the right one.

Matt Damon Private Fans page, Matt Damon fans, Matt Damon Private page. Why are there so many Matt Damon fan pages on Facebook? I don't know. Matt Damon fans page.

Anyone can make a fans page. There's like 60 of them. Matt Damon. There's so many. I know.

Fans underscore page. There's so many. But regardless. Which page is this? And how many followers does it have?

I don't know, Josh, because I can't find it. Oh. Why can't you find it? I don't. Oh, here it is. I found it. You just have to click on it. No kidding. I know how the internet works. There's are zero followers.

Oh, right. It's it's that's legit. It's new. It's new. It is actually new. There's only three posts. Matt Damon fans page. Yeah. He's doing heart hands. Yep. There's three posts. This is a new page that pops up. I just said that.

This new page popped up three days ago. Yeah. Look at Matt Damon at Disney in front of a pumpkin. Here's Matt Damon doing heart hands. Okay. Here's Matt Damon and two photos at the Odyssey premiere. Uh, but also terrible.

The most important part is that the Matt Damon fans page. Yeah. Liked the fact that you looked like a little like Matt Damon.

It has zero following.

It doesn't even matter. It's a Matt Damon fans page. It's very important. Very, very clear.

It's pretty, it doesn't legitimize much. Yeah, it does, Josh. What does it legitimize?

It's a Matt Damon fans page. Right. Right. I think that you look a little like Matt Damon. And that's all that matters. I appreciate it. And I'm the one that has to look at you all day. So it's what I said is the legitimate source. So there. Take it. Okay.

Thank you, Matt Damon fans page with zero followers who's also following zero, who has zero likes on your three posts that started in the past couple of days. Thank you. Whoever runs that for liking the comments that people left about me looking sort of in a vague way like Matt Damon.

Specifically when you have hair.

When I when I have photoshopped on hair, I look like Matt Damon. Kinda. But not really. Matt Damon. Yeah, yeah. Okay. So if you were listening to the show about an hour ago, I had a sneezing fit. And uh you were trying to talk about pudding and applesauce and a few different things. My face decided it was gonna Calvin and Hobbes its way right off my neck.

I was trying to carry on a conversation by myself while no one was listening.

It's one of the greatest comic strips. If you don't know my Calvin Hobbes reference, I don't. It's when Calvin's having a sneezing fit and his head just explodes, and then the last frame is just smoke. Because he sneezed so hard.

His head popped off. That is uh how I felt this morning about an hour ago. My voice got all weird. I had a whole problem. But we weren't done talking about putting an applesauce because the as we were talking about it in the kitchen, and I said, What is with this applesauce? Like, what is this for? And nobody answered because I don't think you would remember you bought it for cake until just then this morning.

No. Uh and I and I was thinking, Man, that stuff is so good. And I said, you know, when applesauce is the best is when you're coming out of a surgery and they've uh you've you've been under anesthesia, and they're like, we better get you some applesauce. Because you can't eat like for hours and hours and hours and hours leading up to the surgery, and then once you're waking up and they're like, let's give you some pills, uh, and let's also go ahead and put some applesauce.

It's a good. I don't remember like parts of recovery after a surgery that I had, and you've told me things where you were like, Yeah, you ate like a couple applesauce, and I was like, I remember having a bite. I don't remember eating a couple of them.

Oh no, I then I spoon fed you some applesauce, yeah, like a baby.

And then you're like, and then I we wheeled you out in the wheelchair and put you in the car, and then we had to go get a prescription and we parked in the car next to another car, and you commented about it. I'm like, I have no recollection at all.

But you remember the applesauce.

I do, and it was delicious. And so I like we specifically went out and bought more applesauce because it was like uh applesauce is where it's at.

Yeah, and that is actually what triggered the conversation that the applesauce cups are too small. Correct. And then I said, Pudding cups are also too small, right? Jell O cups are also too small.

And that is what we were talking about an hour ago when I had this. Content is bored. I was having a sneezing fit. But just in case you were wondering, post op applesauce, it's where it's at shelf, top tier. Very good.

Um I got a message after we had talked about the small pudding cup sizes. Apparently, you can get super size snack packs. Well, a bigger cup? 33 ounces.

That's so much. Do you know how much that is? Like a 20-ounce bottle of soda. It's more than that of pudding.

It might be all three of them.

There's like three in a pack, I think. I'm looking it up. Okay. What do you see?

All I'm seeing is a bigger variety pack, but the cups are the same size. Okay.

What are you saying? That's not real. No way, dude. You can buy this anywhere. Oh, they have it in jello, too. Burroughs.

I'm not seeing like bigger cups.

They're five and a half ounces. You get a six-pack of five and a half ounces.

Is this the one that says now 60% more? Yeah. Is that what it is? Super size. Yeah. 33 ounce. I'm looking at the chocolate vanilla combo. Yeah. How's your calories?

Don't even worry about it. Don't even think about it.

Serving size, one pudding cup. Is 180 calories. Don't even think about it. It's not bad. How's your sugar? Don't. Why are you? It's not that much.

Looking at that stuff. Okay. Uh appreciate Laura who sent this to me. Okay. The super size snack bags. Yeah. Laura knows where it's at. And uh I appreciate you sharing the intel.

I do still think just make a bowl at home. You can. Or get the big number 10 can and scoop out as much as you want and just eat it with a spoon and then put that can in the fridge. What are we doing? Why are we worried about travel packs when you can just carry around a whole can? You can. I know.

Hopefully you have can opener. Oh, I will. And a spoon or a straw. No. No.

A big boba straw.

I just have This image of you on the side of the house with your can of pudding.

Why am I on the side of the house? It's a secret. I know.

And you just got it crudely opened and you're just got the can between your legs and you're scooping it out.

That's It's a terrifying image. Why would I need secret pudding? I'm an adult. I will sit in the living room with it and get terrible looks from the family. I'm not above that. Why do I have to keep it secret crudely opened on the side of the house outside, sitting with it in a big spoon? And I probably have like a big spoon because I couldn't be bothered to open the drawer because it makes too much noise. Yeah. So I had to grab one from the You had to get a ladle. Yeah, I had to get like a big wooden spoon. Why? Why is that your vision?

I don't know. It's just what you do.

I don't do do that. Do I have shoes on? Because I feel like I'm barefoot. Your barefoot. Yeah. See? Never would happen. Instead, it'd just be me in the living room, the dog sitting next to me wanting a bite while I'm eating with a normal spoon out of a big can. And you walk in and go, what are you doing? And I go, I'm having pudding time. Leave me alone. Putting time? Yeah.

Don't call it pudding time. What else would I call it? I don't know. I don't like it.

This is the time I eat my pudding. It's pudding time. Mmm. And then I fold the lid back down and push it into the fridge. And I go, you'll you'll be back later. That is how I do it. That's putting time. That's putting time. Yeah. Not some creepy outside the house thing. All right.

Do what you want with your pudding, I guess.

Applesauce, jello, all good. You can make it all at home. You can. You're right. In varying quantities. As much as you want. That's that's right. Would you rather this or that?

Would you rather have a summer job as a lifeguard or a camp counselor? Oh, we're back in summer mode. Yeah, what? We're not letting go. No, I'm clinging. Okay. Clinging to summer.

Would I rather have a summer job as a lifeguard or a camp counselor? Camp counselor. You're gonna pick that. Yeah. Why? Way more fun. No way. Yeah, lifeguard. No way. For sure. No. Think about my tan. Oh man. I'm not gonna be responsible for saving lives.

You are as a cam counselor. You've got to you gotta know how to do first.

I'm responsible in making yeah, that's fine. But I'm responsible for making sure that they get to where they're supposed to be on time.

That's not what a camp counselor does. Yeah. Cam counseling.

Because there are different program areas, and I'm gonna make sure they get to their program areas. And I will probably be in charge of running a program.

You have to make sure that everyone is safe as they get tucked into bed at night. Yeah.

Curfew. They have to be where they're supposed to be at certain times.

So you gotta check their bunk houses, make sure they're all good. Right. Tell them to go to bed. Right. No way. Easy. Plus also. No. Yeah. I'm picking lifeguard. Yeah, no way. You know why?

No, why? Because you get to walk around with that big red flow thing. And then you get to do that cool walk around the pool. Cool. Step in front of the other.

I don't like it. It's a slippery situation. Plus, I'm not, I sink a lot. So you're not a good one. I'm not it. I'm gonna I'm gonna be the coolest camp counselor. I'll come hang out with you.

You can be the lifeguard, and I'll be like, what's up? I bring in the kids. There they go. To your don't let them drown now. I won't. And then you know where I'm gonna go? The kitchen to get pudding. That's what see you later. Okay, I'll manage these kids. That's right. Plus, also a lifeguard. Yeah.

It's short. It's a temporary camp counselor. You have to do it all day. You're camp counselor, you're all day. Yeah, I know. You're all day. Life guards all day. No, dude.

From the minute the waterfront opens until it closes at the end of the night. You're there all day, lifeguard. Somebody's gotta be there. Fine, I'll do it. All day. I'll do it.

My job ends at night. Yours is you're still you got work to do all night. You gotta be on high alert. I hear a bear. I better go check my bunkhouse. No. Yeah, dude. It's too much responsibility. No.

We are not gonna see eye to eye on this, clearly. This is why there's two options. And somebody's gotta fulfill both those jobs, and we got it knocked out. Good camp. Would you rather this or that?

We determined over the weekend that whenever we play a game, your goal is to win. Yeah. And my goal is to have fun.

Uh but we've also specified that that applies differently to different games. And in your competitive nature, you are in it if you think you can win, but you're just there to have a good time if you're just having fun and you don't think you're gonna win.

Then you're like, no, I'll just have fun. And so I think the two things combined formulate our competitive nature with one another. Okay. I want to win all the time. If I'm gonna compete, it's to do my very best and try to win victory. Achieve victory.

Mine is to just what's the most fun I can have playing this game. Right. That's it. My goal is to laugh. And so we were playing a

game a game yesterday of competitive uh cooperative Tetris, and you determined that you would never play cooperative Tetris with me because you feel like you would hold me back.

I'm letting you down. You take Tetris very, very seriously. And why wouldn't you? I don't. It's a game of four. Every piece has four blocks.

And you your goal is to clear four lines at a time. Yeah. Tetris. Fun. It's a great game. It's a good puzzle.

It's boring. It's just as boring.

No, the pieces come down. You rotate them, you drop them. You build lines, you clear lines, you uh level up. Now, you know what game is fun. What? What game are you gonna say?

A co-op put the fires out game. Okay, listen.

Whatever that game is called. It's one person drives the fire truck, the other person's in control of the fire hose. Yeah. On the on the ladder. Yeah. So you were the driver twice, and you went, oh no. I'm the driver. Uh and you also have to be responsible for getting us back to the fire hydrant to get water because we run out when we're fighting the fires. So it's, you know, it's a firefighting game. And I think all I ever say is get me closer to a house that's on fire. I need water.

Those are the two things I say. Get me closer and I need water. And then you just spin in circles, and then you go, oh, this is so hard to drive. Oh, hold on, hold on. Can you can you reach the house from here? No, get closer. Also I'm out of water. Oh, hold on. That's how the game is played.

It is hard to try that fire truck. Is it? Yeah. It was tricky. We were up against the kids. We got smoked. I know. Twice.

And you said, I think you were really upset when you found out I was on your team. Which I wasn't. I knew we were going to have a good time.

Thank you. Because my goal is to have fun. Right. And we succeeded. Yeah, we lost. Bad. Doesn't matter. We had the most fun. I would like to have won. We won in fun. Did we? Yep.

I think I would have had more fun if I also had a victory.

We had a victory of fun.

I'd like to have a victory if we won the game.

Please. Then make a different teammate because it's a good thing. I didn't.

I hit random and it stuck me with you. It was like you two. And she's also driving. So good luck.

That's your life. This is what happened in your life. You hit random and you were stuck with me.

These two. And you're driving. Ta-da! And even when I'm driving, you're still driving. Oh, Josh. It's fun. Yeah, it is. Hey. Hey. I think that's about it for today. Yeah, look at the time.

Look at it. Look at it go.

And that's gonna wrap up the show. Okay. Hope you have a great rest of your Monday. We'll be back uh tomorrow. Actually, we won't be in the studio tomorrow.

That's right. Tomorrow is our well, tomorrow's our daughter's first day of school.

Yeah, so traditionally we take that morning off. Yep. Uh and we only have like a couple of these left. Yep. I know, isn't that crazy? So we will be like, I'll be around tomorrow. We just won't have a show tomorrow.

Yeah. Uh, but we'll have like best of and stuff, and then we'll be back with a new show on Wednesday. Um thanks for hanging out today, and uh, we'll catch you back here uh real soon. All right. Happy Monday! Break.
