So, we're living in this world, right – where we've got technology out the wazoo. I mean, we can send a man to the moon, but we can't figure out how to make a printer that doesn't jam every five minutes, am I right?
I mean, who's in charge of printer technology? Is it the same guy who's still trying to make VHS tapes a thing again?
And then there's this whole thing with social media, right? We're all so connected, yet so disconnected. I mean, I've got 5000 friends on Facebook, but last week I had to eat a frozen pizza alone because no one responded to my dinner invite.
Oh, and let's not even get started on dating apps. Swipe left, swipe right. It's like we're picking a life partner the same way we choose a new pair of shoes. And if you're not six feet tall, don't even bother. It's like you need to have NBA stats to get a date these days.
And then there’s politics – oh boy, politics. It's like a reality show, but with worse hair. And the plot twists... I mean, who needs Netflix when you've got C-SPAN, am I right?
But at the end of the day, folks, isn't it all just a little bit hilarious? I mean, we're out here, living in the future, and yet we're still dealing with the same old problems. It's like we put a man on the moon, and then just decided to call it a day.
So, next time your printer jams, or your Facebook friend count drops, or your Tinder date turns out to be shorter than they claimed – just remember, it could always be worse, you could be the guy trying to bring back VHS.
