Speaker 1: Hello friends, come gather around for lessons on happy ground. With kindness in our hearts, we'll find our way and practice being brave every day. They're Rosado Little Lessons, fun adventures for our friends.

Speaker 2: Hello, friends. I'm Ms. Amy, and do I have a beautiful story for you today. Close your eyes and imagine the deep, glittering waters of Rainbow Reef, where the coral glows in every color you can dream of, and the ocean hums with the songs of a thousand creatures. Somewhere in those shimmering waters lives a whale named Willa, and today she is about to discover something remarkable.

Willa the Whale lived in the heart of Rainbow Reef, where the water tasted faintly of salt and sea flowers and the currents wrapped around her like a soft blanket. She loved the way the light danced through the water in long golden ribbons, and the way the smallest fish left tiny trails of bubbles when they darted past her nose. More than anything, Willa loved to sing. She sang every morning as she rose toward the surface, her voice filling the water like a warm light. 'This is my favorite thing in all the reef,' she would sigh happily, feeling the vibrations hum through her whole body.

But one morning, Willa noticed that her song sounded thin and lonely. The reef was full of voices, the clicking of shrimp, the low rumble of distant waves, the high fluting calls of the dolphins, and somehow her song never seemed to weave in with theirs. She tried singing louder. She tried singing softer. Still she felt like she was singing beside the reef rather than with it. Her chest grew heavy, and she drifted to the seafloor, watching the others from a distance, wondering what she was missing.

Willa decided the problem must be her song itself. She worked all afternoon trying to change it, shortening her notes, stretching them, adding new sounds she had never tried before. She twisted and shaped her voice until it felt strange and foreign, like wearing someone else's skin. When she finally tried to sing it for the reef, the notes came out tangled and confused. She stopped mid-song, feeling more lost than before. She floated quietly at the bottom, her long fins still, thinking that maybe she simply did not belong in the reef's music.

Then a sea turtle named Theo drifted slowly past, his ancient eyes warm and steady. He paused beside her. 'I haven't heard your song today, Willa,' he said gently. 'The reef sounds different without it.' Willa shook her head. 'My song doesn't fit,' she said. Theo was quiet for a moment. 'Have you ever just listened, really listened, to what the reef is already singing?' Willa looked at him. She realized she had been so busy trying to fix her own song that she had never truly listened to the songs around her. Something opened up inside her, like a current shifting direction.

That evening, Willa went still and listened. She heard the rhythm of the shrimp, the long swells of the dolphins, the short bright calls of the reef fish. She felt where the spaces were, the pauses, the breaths between sounds. And when she finally sang, she sang into those spaces, not over them. Her voice found the places the reef had left waiting. The water around her rippled with something new and whole. Willa felt the harmony move through her body from the tip of her tail to the top of her head, and she understood at last what had been missing.

Willa learned that day that sometimes the best way to find your voice is to listen to others first. And friends, I think we all sing a little better when we truly hear the people around us. Thank you so much for listening today, friends. I am Ms. Amy, and remember, here at Rosado Little Lessons, every little story carries a big lesson. Until next time, listen, feel, and sing.

Speaker 1: Our story's over. Hip hooray. Hope you learned something new today. So come on back and join the fun. More lessons for everyone. Rosado Little Lessons. See you next time, everyone.
