### Chapter 1: What Living in Tulsa Oklahoma is REALLY Like
**If Tulsa, Oklahoma has recently come on your radar, you might be wondering what living in Tulsa, Oklahoma is really like. [music] Maybe you can work anywhere and Tulsa is**
**one of the cities that you're considering. [music] Or maybe you've seen the cost of living come up in articles about how reasonable Oklahoma is to live in. Or maybe you've read good**
**things about the neighborhoods, about the quality of life here. And that's completely understandable because choosing where to live is so much**
**different than just comparing homes online, comparing [music] prices online.**
**You want to know what the city feels like, what people do on the weekends, what's the culture, the energy, whether it's their sense of community, and most**
**importantly, whether the lifestyle here matches what you want this next season of life to look like. So, in this video, I want to share three things about Tulsa**
**that might surprise you. Things that I normally don't talk about on the channel that you don't just get from doing a Google search. And these three things,**
**although yes, they're fun facts, but they really tell something important about what kind of city Tulsa really is, what this community values, and why**
**people across the country, across the world, are choosing to make Tulsa home.**
### Chapter 2: Meet Sabrina Shaw | Moving to Tulsa OK
**The first is the gathering place, and that [music] is Tulsa's Riverfront Park.**
**Chances are, you may have already heard about it. You might have seen about it, read an article, hopefully you've seen a few photos because the Gathering Place**
**has been recognized as one of the top 10 parks in the world according to Trip Adviser. But what you probably don't know is how it came to exist. [music] So**
**at nearly half a billion dollars, the Gathering Place represents the largest private gift to a community park in the United States history. [music] The park**
**was created through private philanthropy led by the George Kaiser Family Foundation and [music] supported by more than 80 donors. And I want you to think**
**about what this means. One of the top ranked parks [music] in the world right here in a city of 400,000 people. That really tells you something about Tulsa.**
**This is a community willing to make an extraordinary investment in a place that everyone can enjoy. And the gathering**
### Chapter 3: Fact 1: The Gathering Place ($500M World-Class Park)
**place is beautiful and it's special and it's magical and it is designed for everybody. There is no cost to get in.**
**It's so accessible. They'll have live music. They'll have all kinds of events for the kids. You'll have yoga on the**
**lawn. The gathering place is not something that people only visit once when they go into town. It's something that you want to go to over and over**
**again in your everyday life. You'll see families at playgrounds. You'll see people working in the lodge. I'll go and work in the lodge sometimes. You've got**
**the free Wi-Fi. You can get coffee downstairs.**
**You've got burgers, you can get drinks, you've got events happening throughout the year, so people can just enjoy being**
**there, gathering outside, gathering inside. It is truly one of those places that makes Tulsa feel truly special and**
**way more than you would expect when you're first thinking of Tulsa, when you're first thinking of Oklahoma. Hi, I'm Sabrina Shaw. I'm a local real estate agent here in Tulsa, Oklahoma.**
**And my team and I, we make these videos for you to give you that honest insider [music] view from the top neighborhoods to the top suburbs, the pros and the**
**cons, the lifestyle, and everything in between. And in full transparency, we make these videos for you so that when you're ready to make that move to Tulsa,**
**Oklahoma, instead of reaching out to some random agent online or on Zillow, that you reach out to us. It doesn't matter if you're moving in 9 [music]**
**days, 90 days, or 9 months. It's never too early and it's never too late to give us a call. We also have created a relocation guide for you. You can scan**
**the QR code or the link is in the description that gives you a great starting place for the Tulsa area and our different suburbs. The second thing**
**that may surprise you is Tulsa's architecture. Tulsa has one of the most significant collections of art deco in**
### Chapter 4: Fact 2: World-Class Art Deco Architecture & Oil History
**the entire world. And to understand why, you have to understand Tulsa's unique history. So in the early 1900s, Tulsa**
**became known as the oil capital of the world. That oil wealth brought architects. [music] It brought designers into the city. It brought people**
**migrating from the east coast, from the west coast. So Tulsa didn't have those normal migration patterns. You had migration with big money coming in. And**
**a lot of that influence came from the east coast. You had that money and you had talent. And what was built during that time is still part of Tulsa's**
**history today. So when you see our downtown, you see a character. It's not generic. We have these beautiful**
**buildings. You should do a Tulsa tour with my friend Becky Dbor. You can do a tunnel tour with the Tulsa Foundation of**
**Architecture. But our downtown is completely amazing. There's detail, there's history, there's craftsmanship,**
**[music] there is a sense of identity that people don't expect from a city our size. You'll see buildings like Boston**
**Avenue Methodist Church, the Philcade, the [music] Tulsa Club throughout the Deco District downtown. And this is not**
**architecture that you just admire from a distance. You can go in, you can eat inside, [music] you can stay, they have events. It's part of everyday life. And**
**I think that tells you something else about Tulsa. This [music] is a city that has character. And in the past couple decades, it has really been revived.**
### Chapter 5: Fact 3: Tulsa Remote ($10,000 Incentive Program)
**[music]**
**the city's been restoring it, really bringing it to life and finding new ways for people to experience it. Now, the third thing is Tulsa Remote. And Tulsa**
**Remote is a program that offers $10,000 for remote workers to move to Tulsa.**
**[music] And when people first hear that, sometimes you might assume, oh, Tulsa [music] must be trying to convince people to stay here. But really, it is**
**the opposite. Tens of thousands of people have applied and only a small percentage get in. So people that are moving here [music] from Tulsa remote**
**are not settling. They are competing for the opportunity to come here. I am telling you it is a fantastic**
**opportunity. These are professionals, entrepreneurs, [music] creatives who can work from almost anywhere. And they're intentionally choosing Tulsa which has**
**brought a new layer of energy. You see it in the coffee shops. You see it in the restaurants, local businesses, the arts. It has introduced people from all**
**over the world to Tulsa and majority of them decide to stay long after their first year in the program and the doors that Tulsa Remote opens are amazing. You have so many networking opportunities.**
**It is just [music] a completely amazing program and I think that really matters when you're considering a move here.**
**Tulsa's not just growing from people that grew up here or had families here.**
**is attracting people who had choices, people who have looked at different cities [music] and decided that Tulsa offered the kind**
**of life that they want. I have a podcast on the YouTube channel and you should watch some of the episodes and we've had [music] guests from New York and Florida**
**and California and everyone is so surprised about the way that Tulsa is and especially thinking [music] of their**
**first impression when Tulsa first came on their radar. But I always want to be honest with you because Tulsa is not for everybody. If you are somebody who needs**
### Chapter 6: Honest Reality Check: Who Tulsa is NOT For
**that 24-hour energy like Chicago or New York or Los Angeles, [music] you are definitely not going to have**
**that here. Things shut down. The latest things stay open till 2:00 [music] a.m. Things really shut down at 10, 11:00.**
**So, a lot earlier. So, this is not an all night city. [music] If you need to completely rely on public transportation, then Tulsa is not going**
**to be it for you. You really do need a car. Now, if you were in [music] Midtown Tulsa, you could probably get around if you didn't have to go anywhere else, but this is definitely a car dependent city.**
**So, yes, we don't have things happening every hour on the hour. It's a slower pace here, but that's one of the things that people love. People are friendly.**
**You can get anywhere in [music] really 30 minutes from suburb to suburb. If you're in Tulsa, you can get anywhere**
**within 15, 20 minutes max. You can go and enjoy your days without having to plan around traffic. And that means so**
### Chapter 7: Commute Times, Pace of Life & Quality of Living
**much to so many people. So, you really get an elevation of lifestyle when you combine what you can get with the housing, when you combine with how you**
**can live, with the pace of life. It's so amazing to see from so many of you that have came here. We've shown and how much**
**you love it. That slower pace is more manageable. It's what you guys love about the city. Tulsa gives you a culture without giving you that feeling**
**[music] of stress or overwhelm. You have museums, you have architecture, you have live music, [music]**
**you have the arts, you have parks, you have festivals, you've got a growing downtown. you can still have dinner**
**downtown, attend an event, and still be back home to your quiet neighborhood that evening without having to plan your**
**entire day around it. So, the real question is not simply, [music] is Tulsa a good place to live? The question is, does the Tulsa lifestyle match [music]**
**the way that I want to live? Tulsa and our surrounding suburbs are truly a fantastic option. Tulsa is really starting to feel like a place that you could see yourself living.**
### Chapter 8: How to Book Your Tulsa Relocation Blueprint Call
**The best next step is [music] to schedule a relocation blueprint call.**
**We'll take you through what's bringing you here, what matters most in your everyday life [music] and which part of the Tulsa Metro fit you best. We'll also**
**talk about what to look for, what to avoid based on your specific situation, and what meets your [music] needs. The link to schedule your call is in the**
**description. And when you finish this video, go and watch some of the home tours because when you see our houses, that's where Tulsa really shines.**
**Heat. Hey, Heat.**
**Sync to video time**
