Today, we have another story from our most recent Author•Actor event in Manhattan. This piece, titled “The Widow’s Tale,” is a 2026 Pushcart Prize winner featured in the 50th Anniversary edition, and you can also find it in Richard Bausch’s most recent short story collection,The Fate of Others, It was performed by a fantastic group of actors in NYC with Janel Molony at the helm. Kimmy Shields plays her sister Moira, Peter Von Berg is Moira's husband, Vincent Piazza plays Moira's X Eliot, Larisa Oleynick plays Lara, Eliot's new girlfriend and Robert Aberdeen plays Bill Perry.
