Zaki:

Another glorious day in the sky. Time to get these feathers looking extra sharp. A bird has to look his best after all. Let's see. A quick preen here, a little fluff there.

Zaki:

Perfect. Oh wait. Is that a speck of dirt? No. No.

Zaki:

No. Not on Zaki's watch. Now for the tail feathers. Gotta keep them smooth for maximum flight style. One wrong turn and Wait.

Zaki:

Was that something in the water? Nah. Probably just a leaf. Back to the feathers and done. Look at that shine.

Zaki:

Magnificent. Though now that I think about it, that wasn't a leaf, was it? It was oh no, a basket floating down the river. Okay. Let me just take a closer look.

Zaki:

You've got this, Zaki. It's just a basket. Baskets are harmless. Right? Nothing unusual.

Zaki:

Just a regular old did did that basket just make a noise? Oh, no. It's alive, a living, breathing, talking basket. What kind of magic is this? What should I do?

Zaki:

Do I talk to it? Do I apologize for staring? Oh no. Oh no. Wait.

Zaki:

What if it's enchanted? What if it's haunted? Okay. Okay. Zaki, get a grip.

Zaki:

It's just it's just a noisy basket. That's all. Yep. Nothing unusual about a basket floating down a river that sounds like a baby. Nothing at all.

Zaki:

Still, there's got to be a reason for this. Right? Baskets don't just float down rivers for fun.

Meraj Digital presents the Amazing stories with Zaki the Hoopoe. Episode 16, the birth of Prophet Musa.

Zaki:

Salam, my wonderful friends. It's me, Zaki, your favorite Hooper bird back with another incredible story. Oh, do I have an adventure for you today? One filled with bravery, trust, and a tiny basket floating down a big scary river. And a very very brave sister.

Zaki:

That's right. A sister. Today, we're also going to meet a mother whose love for her child was so strong that she trusted Allah completely, even when things seemed impossible. And that baby? Oh, he grew up to be someone truly amazing.

Zaki:

Let me tell you all about it. Now my friends, if this story sounds familiar, it should. You might remember we've already talked about prophet Musa before in the incredible story of how he parted the Red Sea and led his people to freedom. But today, we're going back to the very beginning of his story to see how it all started and how Allah's plan for him began. A long long time ago, there was a terrible king named pharaoh.

Zaki:

You remember the pharaoh from our other story. Right? Well, this was his dad. He ruled over Egypt, and he was one of the most powerful and cruel kings in history. Pharoah was so afraid of losing his power that he ordered something unthinkable.

Zaki:

All baby boys born to the Israelites should be taken away. Can you imagine the fear in people's hearts? But in the midst of this fear, a special baby was born. His name was Musa, and he was destined for greatness. But before that greatness could unfold, his mother had to do something incredibly brave.

Zaki:

She had to trust Allah completely. Here's how it all began. Pharoah was terrified of the Israelites. He thought they would rise up against him, so he made their lives miserable. He forced them to work as slaves and even made that cruel rule about baby boys.

Zaki:

When Musa was born, his mother was filled with both joy and fear. She loved her baby dearly, but she knew pharaoh's soldiers were searching for newborn boys. What could she do? That's when Allah sent her a message. He inspired her heart and told her exactly what to do.

Zaki:

Place the baby in a basket and set it on the river. Do not fear or grieve. We will return him to you and make him one of our messengers. Can you imagine how hard that must have been? To let go of her baby not knowing what would happen?

Zaki:

But Musa's mother trusted Allah completely. She made a small basket, lined it carefully so no water could get in, and placed her precious baby inside. Then, with tears in her eyes and faith in her heart, she set the basket on the river. The water carried it away and she watched until it was out of sight. But she wasn't completely alone.

Zaki:

Musa's sister followed the basket from a distance, keeping an eye on her baby brother. What an awesome big sister. The river, which could have been dangerous, became a path of safety. Allah was guiding Musa to a very surprising place. The basket floated gently down the river until it reached pharaoh's palace.

Zaki:

Of all the palaces in all the places, can you believe it? One of pharaoh's servants saw the basket and brought it to pharaoh's wife, Asiya. Now here's where the story gets amazing. Instead of being afraid of pharaoh, Asiya looked at the baby and felt a deep love for him. She said, this child will be a comfort to me.

Zaki:

Let us not leave him. Perhaps he will benefit us. And just like that, Musa was saved. Allah placed love for him in Asiya's heart, and she convinced pharaoh to let the baby stay. But Musa's journey wasn't over yet.

Zaki:

Remember Musa's mother? She missed her baby so much. But Allah had a plan to reunite them. Musa's sister who had been watching from a distance, stepped forward and told the palace servants, I know someone who can care for this baby. That someone was Musa's own mother.

Zaki:

Allah brought them back together just as he promised. Asiya had Musa's mother take care of and raise Musa without ever realizing that was Musa's actual mother. Isn't that incredible? Allah works in amazing ways even when things feel like they couldn't get any worse. Wow.

Zaki:

What an incredible story. Musa's mother had to do something very difficult, but her trust in Allah led to a miracle. This teaches us that even when things seem scary or impossible, Allah always has a plan. So the next time you feel unsure or afraid, just remember Musa's mother and what she did. Trusting Allah might not always be easy, but it's always worth it.

Zaki:

That's all for today, my wonderful friends. But don't fly away just yet. Our next adventure will take us on an incredible journey with another prophet and a surprising miracle. I can't say more, but trust me, you'll love it. Salam, and see you soon.
