What is Gospel Portions?

Reminders of the gospel that was preached to you, which you received, in which you stand, and by which you are being saved, that you may hold fast to the word preached to you.

Ryan Bush:

Poor souls are apt to think that all those whom they read or hear of to be gone to heaven went there because they were so good and so holy. Yet not one of them, not anyone that is now in heaven, Jesus Christ alone accepted, did ever come thither any other way but by forgiveness of sins. John Owen.

Ryan Bush:

Remember these things, O Jacob, and Israel, for you are my servant. I formed you, you are my servant. O Israel, you will not be forgotten by me. I have blotted out your transgressions like a cloud and your sins like mist. Return to me for I have redeemed you. Sing, oh, heavens, for the Lord has done it. Shout, oh depths of the earth. Break forth into singing, oh mountains, oh forest, and every tree in it. For the Lord has redeemed Jacob and will be glorified in Israel.
