What's going on, everybody?

Welcome to the Clydesdale

Media Roundtable.

We got a healthier crew this week.

Healthier crew.

Right here.

Is tie-dye still in?

In my world, yes.

Oh, that's right.

Everybody in the hippie, yes.

In the hippie scape.

They'd be wearing tie-dye.

Mm-hmm.

And a cat's got the old

school rogue strength hat

going old with her holiday tree.

Yes.

My holiday tree.

Yes.

Yeah.

Well, um,

Man, it's been a crazy week.

I am so flat exhausted every

night when I go to bed.

This thing with Julie,

she's hit a breaking point

today that we just have to

get through the mental aspect.

She thinks she should be

like running a marathon by now.

And it's only been like a

week and a couple days since surgery.

And she's getting up on her own.

She can go to the bathroom on her own now.

That's a lot of really big

steps that she's taken.

Has she gone to PT?

Yeah,

we just got back from her third session.

Okay, cool.

Um, so yeah, that's going well,

but with Corey and the

breakup and all that kind

of stuff right before Christmas,

I think she's sucking in

all of that negative energy

because she's mama bear.

And,

and then that plus what she's going

through is like turning

into this big ball ball of anxiety.

Yeah.

Yeah.

Is she back to work yet?

Like does she working from home at all?

They made her take six weeks off.

Okay.

Well, cause that also can play into like,

you know, when you,

when you're not feeling

like you're being

productive in that sense,

like it's right for her to heal.

I'm just saying when you're

not in your regular routine,

you feel less productive also and,

and harder to be in a good head space.

I, I find for myself.

Well,

and just the complications of like a

desk chair with wheels,

not being super stable to

like get yourself up out of.

Yeah.

Like those are things you

have to think about.

Um,

But yeah, she's doing awesome.

I'm so proud of her.

She's really probably ahead

of schedule with everything.

She's doing everything she's

supposed to do.

I lost it yesterday.

But my thing is the dog.

Now that I'm the only

caretaker for the dog as well,

he has no sympathy for it

being six degrees outside

and wanting to go out eighty seven times.

And I'm too old for six degrees.

It is really freaking cold.

You're getting so grumpy and

weak in this old man.

I know.

It's awful.

It's awful.

But yeah,

he's a ball of energy and just

wants to go, go, go.

And I'm just whooped.

But we're going to make it.

We're going to make it

through it better than ever.

Good.

What's going on with you guys?

Good.

Well,

I just got back from walking out in

the six degrees just now.

Yeah.

As Kenneth put it,

I'm too old for this shit, Walter.

No, I just took Murph on.

So I, today I don't work on Thursdays.

And so I decided to,

I ran on the treadmill today.

So I did my run on the treadmill,

but then I bundled up and

took Murph around for his mile walk.

So I just got back from that.

Yeah.

funny thing is yesterday

when I was when I was so

upset with walter like

really for the eighty

seventh time you need to go

out like we didn't get out

the door two steps and he

was like right then and

there so he really had to

go and I'm like damn I am

such an awful dog winner

yeah how about you kat uh

I'm just living the dream

I don't know.

There's a lot.

I got a lot going on, a lot going on.

We'll save that for a future show.

Apparently.

Yeah.

Um,

we found out yesterday that Albany or

actually Tuesday,

we found out that Albany is

the location for the CrossFit games.

It's been long rumored to be Albany.

Do you guys have any thoughts?

My first thought was underwhelming.

However, I felt that way about Wisconsin.

So I mean, we'll see.

I'm open.

I'm being open minded.

But my first thought was underwhelming.

Yeah.

I went to regionals in

Albany in twenty sixteen, I think,

whenever it was there,

the super regional.

It was it was cool.

Good infrastructure, you know,

nice little downtown area,

good restaurants,

different different vibe than Madison,

I think.

And I'm not sure where this

is going to happen,

if it's in the same place

as where the regionals was or not.

But it's an MVP arena.

Yeah, I mean,

that could be the same place

with a different name.

I'm not sure where it's going to be.

It's actually the largest

arena we've been in for the games.

Oh, really?

It's bigger than Fort Worth.

It's bigger than Madison.

So it's probably different

because I think regionals

were in like a convention center.

So maybe it is different and

maybe I don't know exactly where it is.

But, you know, it was cool.

I like that I can drive there.

Yeah.

You know,

what I found interesting is for Amy and I,

it's the same time to get

from here to there as it was to Madison.

Oh, okay.

But the distance is further,

but we don't have to go through Chicago.

Right, right.

Good stuff.

So it actually makes it out

to be the same time.

But I did a deep dive.

If you compare it and Wisconsin,

it's very similar.

The downtown area is smaller

than Madison by about half,

but the metro area is

actually larger than Madison.

So you include the suburbs

and all of that.

It's actually bigger, more population,

which means they have all

the big airlines coming

into their airport.

Yeah.

Southwest, Allegiant, as well as United,

Delta, and American.

Yeah.

That's the one piece I was thinking about.

Wisconsin sucked for athletes.

I had to fly into.

Yeah, it was small.

Yeah.

So this, I feel like,

is a great benefit for athletes.

Yeah.

But it was cool the day that

you would leave the games

to just hang out and stalk

all the athletes because

you would bump into so many

people at the airport.

It was such a great networking location.

But yeah, not convenient.

Yeah,

from about everybody that I've talked to,

flights to there are about four fifty,

regardless where you're at in the country,

like round trip, round trip to and back,

which isn't too bad.

I know like when I went to

California for Pasadena,

it was like seven,

eight hundred dollars round trip.

Yeah.

So yeah.

And like I told Kat before

we went on the air,

I got an Airbnb in Albany reserved,

a three bedroom,

two bath Airbnb for

fourteen hundred bucks for

the weekend for the whole weekend,

which is actually really.

That's almost how much we

paid for the super eight in Madison.

Yeah.

And I love, um,

Airbnb just like changed their, um, their,

uh, cancellation policy.

Like it used to be like,

you had to give so much notice and head.

So now there's like no harm and go.

You know,

reserving places and having to

cancel it like only forty

eight hours before.

Yeah.

Okay.

That reminds me, I have to change my, uh,

I have to close my Airbnb

account and open up a new

one under a different email

address because Eliana and

her friends rented a place

for senior week and like

broke a door and did all kinds of crap.

And I'm like, no longer,

no one will ruin your name.

My rating is like in the toilet.

Oh, shoot.

I gotta do that.

Yeah.

Good thing I have other

email addresses I can use.

Yeah.

Yeah,

the other big thing CrossFit-wise I

want to talk about before

we get into our hairstyles

is the WFP announced their

locations of their tour events,

Indianapolis, Mesa,

and then the finals will be in Copenhagen,

Denmark.

When I looked up those

facilities they're going to be at,

they're those massive sports complexes,

right?

both Mesa and Indianapolis, not an arena,

but like the place that has

twenty seven softball fields,

the play that has a field,

indoor turf fields and

basketball courts and

lacrosse and all that kind of stuff.

So I'm I'm wondering it does

have field houses as well indoors,

but I'm wondering if

they're going to do most of

their stuff indoors or outdoors.

Because of that.

Yeah, I don't know.

It gives them the flexibility, though.

That's cool.

But the real tea,

and Spin talked about this

a little bit last night,

is they have four spots left for women,

and they have two spots left for men,

and they have not announced

any new signings in almost a week now.

So we know that Tia has not signed.

We know that Laura has not signed.

We know that Jeff Fadler has not signed.

Do you think that these

bigger named athletes are

holding out for the money, money, money?

Maybe they're just not doing it.

Maybe they don't want to do

it and they're waiting to see.

Maybe Will and team is

looking to see if there are

any breakout performances

at Guadalupe this weekend for them to.

I'm more surprised by Laura.

Yeah,

because Laura's the one that

surprised me.

And Jeff,

because Jeff was tentative on the

game season.

Laura, I didn't think,

was doing the game season.

So if you're not doing that,

you need an alternative.

Right.

That's what I'm most surprised about.

Their speculation last night

was it's all about the cash.

And they're holding out for more money.

I think that is a dangerous

place for WFP to go because

your pro card should be your pro card.

If you win events during that season,

then you can make more money.

But your pro to negotiate

how much your pro card is worth,

I think is a dangerous precedent to set.

That's me.

because people are going to

be upset that why it's easy

to say TST pro card should

be worth more because it's Tia, right?

But there's going to be a line where like,

how do you, you own a Koski and BKG who,

who's is worth more, right?

It's so close.

I just think that gets to be a weird,

weird place.

And if they have X number of

dollars for X number of years,

you don't want to overspend early.

So anyway, those are my thoughts.

Did anyone register for the open yet?

Not yet.

I have to figure out what

affiliate I'm going to be

associated with.

Yeah.

Because once you sign up,

you have to do everything at that one,

correct?

I don't know about that,

but it has to be done at an affiliate.

And my gym is an affiliate.

And as of January, first newsflash,

it will not be a gym either.

So we're, we're,

we got the official January,

first is our last class and

we are liquidating the equipment.

I have a Google sheet for

people to pick their stuff

and whatever doesn't get sold.

I will rent a storage unit

and put it there and sell

it from there until it's

all gone or until, you know,

I buy a house and create my

own new home gym,

but I don't see that

happening anytime soon.

So

That's fun.

Corey says,

isn't everyone's contract the

same for this initial year?

That is not what I'm hearing,

which I think is wrong.

And he's already signed up.

Shocking.

I will be signing up.

I'm going to support the game season.

I mean,

that's how the athletes are going

to make their money, right?

Is us signing up.

Well, they need that.

So right.

Yeah.

This,

this might be the one year that I do

not sign up.

I hate to say that,

but just being realistic.

This is the year.

I really don't.

I mean,

I'm going to sign up and I'm going

to do the open.

This is really the year.

I really don't give, I don't,

I'm not putting much stock

and care about where I go.

And I'm sad because that

excitement is gone.

especially now that like

your levels mean something

this year yeah but I'm just

like whatever were you so

the levels didn't do

anything for you now that

you've been asking for this

for I've been asking for

but I too little too late

yeah but yeah too late like

it's like when you break up

with someone and they

finally decide to change

yeah yeah too late yeah

Scott is choking over here,

so we'll get that together,

and then we will discuss our hairstyles.

Yeah, are we doing that?

Are we moving in on that?

We can.

So we have been talking.

So you talked about it last week, right?

Yes.

Yes.

Yes.

About some hairstyles.

And then the plan was that

we would come on together

and do hairstyles.

Best and worst.

Best and worst.

Guys and girls.

Forgot the worst.

But I'm going to come up

with them as we're talking.

I'll remember.

I think, yeah,

you'll be inspired as we

start talking about them.

I think so.

Who wants to go first?

Well,

maybe we do like a little round Robin,

right?

So let's just throw out.

So let's start with best

hair female category.

Okay.

Oh, I don't,

I didn't do my female or male.

I just lumped them into one.

That's okay.

Well, if you have females,

we can talk about them now.

Okay.

So my, my first choice is Bethany Flores,

who also is the most

beautiful person in CrossFit,

but she always has that

like side braid thing going on.

I've tried to replicate it.

It doesn't work.

We call that the battle braid.

I also have her on my list

in one of my top three.

So do you want to add someone else?

Sure.

I will add for uniqueness, Shelby Neal.

Okay.

Okay.

The naturally curly red.

Crazy.

Yeah.

I mean, but it's, it's unique.

Like I, I find it very unique and you know,

we don't always get to see

her cause her hair is up and for, for,

for competitiveness,

but I'm choosing that for uniqueness.

She's just a hippie.

So you're supporting her that way.

My,

one of my female hair styles is Anika's

purple.

Oh, Anika.

Yeah.

She's got good hair.

I like Anika's purple hair.

just the like the end yeah

yeah um I've got this will

surprise you all because

I'm not necessarily a fan

of this athlete but um

katrin david's daughter she

always has good battle

braids she was on my after

my top three she would have

been yeah and she and and I

think she's a little bit of

a trendsetter remember the

years when she was doing like the

the mid ponytail with the thin headband.

And then like everyone was doing that.

And she just,

she's always kind of put together,

I feel like.

Mine,

and kind of similar because in some

ways this athlete bothers me,

but I do like their hair,

is Dani Spiegel.

I like long,

and I think she puts a lot of

care in wanting her hair to look nice,

and so I put that for style,

giving her style points for the hair.

Interesting.

I have on my list uh the

stacy tovar straight cut

whatever bar yeah jeff she

was our first one jeff

asked if we said did y'all

say bethany flores yes we

did of course we did yes

number one um stacy tovar

say it again the straight

short yeah short straight

Yeah, but then when she would put it up,

she would have this...

That's a different

hairstyle that we'll talk

about in the other side of the... Oh,

okay.

Yeah.

My last one, I only had three.

Alexis Raptus.

Only because I watched

Taylor's thing this weekend

and she's got great hair.

I don't know if it's extensions or not,

but if it is, they're amazing extensions.

She's got nice, healthy...

all one color, just like,

looks like virgin hair.

I like the color.

I like her color, like very chocolatey.

Yeah.

Yeah.

Yeah.

I would say that is,

that was an awesome little documentary.

Yeah.

It was very good.

The amount that that girl

was battling through

stomach issues through

everything she's accomplished.

How good could she be?

Yeah.

And the vibe between the two

of them was really sweet.

Like they were like brother, sister.

It was like brothery, sistery, flirty,

weird energy.

Like I couldn't put my finger on it,

but it was cool to watch.

It didn't hurt that they

were hanging out in the

jacuzzi together most of the interview.

That was cool.

Any other best female hairstyles?

I have one more.

Ariel's hair clip do.

It's new.

It's on the scene.

She's selling hair clips for it.

It's unique.

So props to that.

I love it.

That's a good one.

All right.

Let's move to female worst

hair since we're just in

the female category.

And I will start with, sorry, Amy,

Danny Spiegel.

Only because when I first,

the first time I ever

encountered Danny Spiegel was at the

Not the syndicate.

What was it called before?

The MAC in twenty nineteen.

And that was when she had like that.

Not so nice manager, boyfriend, whatever.

Anyway,

she would she would come into

athlete briefings late, you know,

like as sort of a little

bit of a diva mindset.

But I sat right behind her.

At one time,

because I was a judge for that

competition and her hair

extensions were awful.

Like you could see every

little track mark and everything else.

And I'm thinking, oh, girl, you got it.

you got a problem.

Okay.

That's fair.

Cause I'm going only from Instagram.

Like I've never.

Right.

Yeah.

It real in real life.

I'm not so crazy about her hair.

And I hate to say that

because over the years I've

learned to appreciate her a

little bit more and,

and like her personally.

And I've met her a few times, but,

but that hair that was,

she was like the first

person that stuck out when

I was thinking about it.

So I thought it was pretty

ironic that you said.

Yeah, no, I mean,

I think that's a fair assessment.

I think she means like roots, right?

It's like when you put in

like glue-in extensions,

they come in these little,

they're called tracks.

And you put tracks of hair

in and they're glued and

you can see the markings from it.

Sorry, JB.

Yeah, that's what they're called.

Being the only male here and

meeting Dani in person several times.

And she's, first I want to say,

she's always been nothing

but nice and cordial to us.

Yeah.

She's drop-dead gorgeous.

And I think her hair is awesome.

I'm on the Amy side of this.

Okay.

It's all good.

I don't have any worse because,

like I said, I forgot.

Scott,

do you have any bad hair days for ladies?

I do.

I have two.

I have Danielle Brandon's purple.

So in contradictory to Anna Annika,

like Annika did it very stylish.

And when Danielle did the

purple eyebrows...

It went way for me up close.

It looked hideous.

Um, the, the,

her purple went way over the top.

I think she started it like classy,

like Anika.

And then as the season went on,

it got worse and worse.

That's funny.

Anika's looked done professional.

Yes.

And Danielle's looks like an at-home,

over-the-counter hair.

Yeah, like the Kool-Aid.

Yeah.

I have an old-school worst hair,

and it's going to be Lauren Fisher.

I don't know if you guys

ever recall watching her in competition,

but she always had, like,

a hot mess express type hair.

handstand push-up hair all

the time and another like

super gorgeous person an

athlete visually and

otherwise but she had some

crazy competition hair she

didn't give up she didn't

give a f you know yeah

basically uh jay birch grew

up in a in a beauty salon

well that explains the

smoke show that you've

become my friend right

Do you have any others, Scott,

for bad hair?

He also asks,

what is Ellie's last name

with the bushy red curls?

I think you mean Emily.

Emily Abbott.

She had the bushy red curls, right?

I wouldn't call them curls.

I think he's talking about Aaliyah Miller,

maybe.

Oh, yeah.

Aaliyah Miller.

She's got crazy hair.

Aaliyah Miller.

Yeah, that's a lot of hair.

uh for a lot of hair gazan

too like the two of them

yeah gazan was on my list

too and I think it's hard

to make hair curly hair

look good when you're when

it's like sweaty and wet

and all that so um for that

reason I had alex and tia

on my list because tia

doesn't have the best hair I don't think

So this hurts my heart to say my worst,

but Stacey Tovar's bird's

nest was too much for me.

And you guys know how I feel

about Stacey Tovar.

Right.

That does hurt your heart to say it.

She is my favorite,

favorite female crossfitter of all time.

The bird's nest was hideous.

Hideous.

And then I have one more.

This was, this was,

the bad hair was easier for

me to remember than the work,

than the best.

Sarah Singman's daughter, sorry,

but she went through a

phase where her hair was so

over bleached that it was

just like straw.

And again,

this is based on like up close

and personal exposure to Sarah.

And maybe it didn't translate like over,

over the camera,

but unfortunately she's

going to be my next guest.

yeah the greatest invention

for sarah was the small

nike headband because she

had all the little hairs

that popped out yes all the

baby hairs and then when

she when that came out and

held all that in place she

it her hair went much

better yeah agreed I would

love to see her with a more um

a darker,

a darker blonde or more chocolate.

Yeah.

Like, because it, with her eyes,

I feel like it would,

the color of her eyes,

it would look more natural.

Yeah.

She's been bleach, bleach,

bleach for as long as I've known her.

So that would be interesting

to see her with a more natural color.

Anyway.

All right.

I apologize.

I thought it would come up

as me commenting.

I forgot that it was coming

up as Clydesdale, but that was me.

So.

Um, men.

Best.

Best men.

I don't even have to say it.

It's number one on my list

and number one on my heart.

It's going to be the worst.

My, one of my worst.

Are you serious?

Do not say Pat Vellner has the best.

Oh, okay.

Good.

Duh.

Pat.

I thought you were going to

say the number one.

I'm sorry.

I didn't mean to steal your thunder.

Yeah.

I was afraid you were going

to say that because he's on

my worst list.

Just so even if he.

he just cut his hair and he

made it so versatile he can

do anything with it I'm

here for con porter's hair

I'm all about it I love the

man bun I'm here for it

yeah so there is there one

because he's had about

every style you can imagine

is there one that stands out uh

I mean,

his two thousand sixteen was a

shorter style that I liked,

but it was styled very nicely.

But I love the man bun.

I don't love it when he has

a super like there's a

picture of him like with

his motorcycle and his hair

is down super long.

I don't love that look.

I like the long hair.

Long, long, but neat.

Yes.

Yeah.

And then like the hot springs,

it's OK to let it down.

yep yep yes yeah I'm gonna

um along those same lines

um I put uh jared stevens

oh okay yeah because the

viking braid yeah that's a

hit right there yeah that's

all day that's a vibe I'm digging it um

I'm going to, just to match in with theme,

James Newberry's Dreads.

Like, it is such a signature style of his.

Yeah, he does it well.

It sets him apart,

and he can carry it off.

Mm-hmm.

He does, yeah.

So, Newberry's Dreads.

Okay.

We have a couple from the peanut gallery.

Lucas Parker's Baldness, apparently.

That red beard, maybe.

And then Merton's Mullet.

No.

No.

Thank goodness it's gone.

I think he looks much better

with the short hair today.

Yeah, I mean, these might be worse.

I don't know if they're best,

but we're getting ahead of ourselves.

I've got Dallin Pepper.

Just plain schoolboy, little, you know,

blonde Clark Kent.

Super cute.

I'm a fan.

I went a little old school

and said Garrett Fisher.

Yes, of course.

I mean, how could you not?

Right?

Yep.

Yeah.

He's got great hair, a nice hard shirt,

very styled.

Yeah.

Yep.

How can you not go with the

classic rogue headband, sunglasses,

spunky hair, rich froning?

Like we all tried to copy it.

Yes, I've seen you try to copy it.

Oh, yeah.

You got close, Scott.

You got close.

I mean,

that's how I wore my hair almost

exclusively for the first

five years I was in CrossFit.

Interesting.

Yeah, I'm here for it.

Yeah.

I sent you my last one.

I sent a photo of it to you

on your Instagram.

I got it right here.

Okay, cool.

Throw it up there.

Oh, there you go.

Okay.

Because his hair has been

lots of different styles.

Yeah.

He's got that salt and pepper going now.

And I'm, I'm at the age where I'm,

I'm into the salt and pepper, but I liked,

I liked his hairstyle at that, uh, uh,

games.

So there he is.

When he cut his hair first,

when he first got his hair,

he looks so good,

but totally almost didn't

even know who he was.

Yeah.

There's a photographer, too, that has,

like, gray, white hair, like,

silver foxy guy, pretty good looking.

I forget what his name is.

But whenever we think of, like,

Salt-N-Pepa,

I think of that guy for some reason.

I don't know his name,

but he's super cute.

My last one, Sam Dancer.

Okay.

Just the flowing, carefree locks.

Yeah.

California boy.

Exactly.

My last one is just a shout

out to a friend.

I know.

Dex Hopkins.

I put him on and then took

him off because of Jared.

But yeah.

When he cut his hair.

Yes.

He cut his hair.

He went from homeless man to supermodel.

I agree.

That was a good move for him.

Yeah.

The cutting of the hair,

the shaving of the beard

made his cue points jump by

like two hundred percent.

You know,

I might give a little honorable

mention to Nick Matthews.

Sometimes his little hair is super cute.

Yeah.

Yeah.

Yeah.

And Corey said, Nick, your anchor too.

That's, I can see that with the,

the very severe,

like where the one side's

almost like shaved and the

other side's where the,

where you get the part.

Yeah.

All right.

Worst, worst hair.

I said it already.

Pat Belner.

I mean,

Pat needs to just shave it or wear a hat.

Cause that like thin comb

over stuff is just not working for me.

When he wears his glasses,

I think he's so cute.

I love it.

He's a nerd and I love it.

I'm okay with the nerd stuff.

The stringy cover is aging, I think.

It's just aging him.

He looks way better in a hat.

He is kind of old.

True.

Justin Madero is terrible.

I'm over it.

It's disgusting.

I can't stand it.

It makes him so unattractive, I think.

You know what's funny is

Jamie is in love with it.

She cannot get enough of his

curls in the mullet.

Every time we go to an event, it's like,

oh, so dreamy.

I mean, he does have gorgeous hair.

The hair that he has is amazing.

It's just styled in such a strange way.

It could work for more people, I think,

if it was cut differently.

Because the fact that he's

got those curls is impressive.

I'm just not into it.

uh I have good uh mine is

dave's cornrows yeah oh one

hundred that wasn't good

that was a bad move I'll go

with uh top knot from

what's his name noah olsen

oh yeah when he tried to

grow out his hair

yeah like it wasn't the

dreads like he did the

dreads but there was one

where he used to do like a

little top knot like so it

was shaved and then he

would take this hair and do

a top knot kind of like um

josh al comma josh I'm

gonna say his name wrong

yeah he's got one of those

too not yeah I'm not super

big on that um chandler

smith when he dyed his hair

yes not a good look buddy

It was like orange, right?

I mean,

it started out like had some toner on it,

but once it faded out, yeah,

it was not good.

Not good.

And he's such a handsome guy.

Like he did not need that,

but him and Jesse, they do that a lot.

Like with their hair,

Jesse's had some different colors too.

They play around with it, which is cool,

but I was just not a fan.

Yeah.

And I did have Noah's dreads

on my worst of all time.

Uh,

there that he cut him off

like at semifinals he came

out with the dreads all of

a sudden after like event

one he disappears comes

back out and he's he's got

the old noah hair and I was

just like thank goodness

that's funny oh yeah he is

not james newberry no agreed

Noah's top knot was terrible.

Coca-Cola El Chama was

just... It's funny how some

guys can pull that off and others can't.

Yeah.

Kenneth is questioning the

Justin Medeiros pick.

Yeah.

You're questioning it or

you're wondering if we said

it because that was the

first thing we said.

Yeah.

And then we missed this one back here.

I don't know how the ladies

work out with hot hair flying all over.

I just want to hand them a joke in there.

I don't know.

I texted you guys this

afterwards and I said,

you are a savage for

working out with your hair down.

I don't know how you do it.

Yeah.

I don't.

It's so hot.

That's why I can't stand it.

I think it's because I never

like plan to work out.

I'm always like coaching and

like nobody shows up or

like one person shows up and then I,

then I do it and it's just

kind of out of necessity.

Like I just, I don't know.

I can't even walk out of

this house without wearing

a ponytail holder on my wrist.

Yeah.

I don't know.

I mean, I have them on my wrist too,

but I just don't.

know I've been so cold too

like the gym is like fifty

five degrees so anything to

keep me warm so let me say

this I have known amy for

what since two thousand

twelve yes two thousand

twelve uh so what we're for

twelve years now yeah I

have seen her with her hair

down less than ten times

it's it's a special

occasion my hair is down

Less more on the podcast,

but live in person less than ten times.

Yeah.

But I mean, most of the time.

I mean, it would be at the gym.

I mean,

I don't I always have my hair up at

the gym.

Oh,

we used to go to picnics and you can

pull it off, too.

You have a very pretty face.

See, I my face is not that great.

So my hair sort of is what.

is my showcase.

So I take the hair back and it's like, no.

What's left is not the greatest.

Which then makes you wonder,

why did Dex cover up his?

He was such a handsome man.

Let that show.

Don't hide that stuff.

Well, that's our hair.

I do want to ask Amy a

question because we haven't

had her on since this was announced.

Masters CrossFit Games is

coming to Columbus, Ohio.

Stoked.

With the teens.

Stoked.

Stoked.

One,

I'm excited because we get to show off

our city.

Yeah.

And show what we can pull off.

Yes.

And maybe, just maybe,

we get Rogue back here or

the games here because we

have so many different venues to use.

Yeah, I think it's I mean, it's great.

I mean, Columbus is a huge city.

It's been growing and growing and growing.

It's got a great entertainment,

food industry.

and the arts,

so there's things for other people,

for people when they come

here to explore the city

and to get to experience

other things like you would

when you visit other big cities.

Well, just think about in Madison,

if we wanted something to eat,

there's one restaurant

within walking distance of

the venue and then

everything else you have to drive to.

Yeah.

convention center which is

where the masters games is

going to be and the team

games has that been

confirmed other than andrew

uh I don't but andrew's in

tight okay okay um so I

would take them him at his

word yeah uh you have the

short north right outside

the door right that's yeah

I'm thinking for the arts

there's so many restaurants

up and down that street

that you could just walk to

and I I am so pumped for

that and the fact we get to

sleep in our own bed and

just go down every day to

watch yep so it's gonna be

so good huge international

airport lots of direct

flights yep yeah yeah tons

of hotels right down there

too yes I mean that it's

really a prime location

yeah and nice for you guys

that you don't have to like

maybe take time off of work

as much you know what I

mean like like for me if I

go I'm gone for four or

five days like it's yeah

yeah anyways the amount of

footage we can get this

year to do the documentary

like because I can bring in

so many more people yeah

have you asked rudy what he thinks

Uh, I, I have not.

I would, I'd be curious,

like if they're excited or

if they're like, oh, bummer, we can't,

I'm sure that it's, they're excited,

but I would just be like,

it's also kind of nice though,

when you are masters and

you have more financial, you know,

capabilities to like be

able to travel to other places.

Have an excuse.

Yeah.

Have an excuse to go to a place,

go places.

Yeah.

Yeah.

But what it does for someone

like Rudy is now he can

afford to go to Wadapalooza and Legends.

And recover in his own bed.

Right.

Which is a huge benefit to him.

Yeah.

I wonder how many people,

because like Jamie was

questioning whether she was

going to do the season this year.

Yeah.

And when she found out it

was only a couple hour

drive from Michigan, like she's like,

okay, now it's time to ramp up.

Yeah.

And get after it because that saves,

she doesn't have to do a flight.

If you don't have to pay for a flight,

it changes how much you have to pay out.

Yeah.

Changes the economics of it all.

Yep.

Corey, you think Dex blocked you, huh?

He didn't.

I've seen lots of posts from him.

Yeah, he must have blocked you, buddy.

Well, Corey got hacked.

Right.

And so I'm wondering if Dex

blocked him during the hack.

Probably.

Because I've seen a ton of posts.

Yeah.

I actually had a great

conversation with him the other night.

We were texting back and

forth for a while.

Yeah.

He's still hurt.

He's not doing Masters this year.

Where's he hurt?

So if you remember at the games last year,

he hurt his wrist and had

to do that reverse grip.

Oh, yeah, yeah, yes.

He still can't.

Okay.

Still can't do anything with it.

Go follow him back, Corey.

So, yeah, he's pretty bummed.

Can we talk about TikTok for a second?

Since it's like my only

source of joy these days.

If it gets shut down,

you guys are going to have

to come and check on me.

Haven't you seen all the

people that are going over

to the actual like China app?

The red box.

I mean, I'm on that too,

but I don't understand it

and I don't know who to follow.

And I'm on Lemonade,

but I don't know if that's even a thing,

but I'm concerned.

I am worried about the stuff I've ordered.

I saw that, the one you posted about that.

Yeah.

What are we doing about things we ordered?

Have you, Amy,

I've gotten so much shitty stuff on there,

like clothing wise that is

just terrible quality or just, you know,

like unwearable.

And when I go to return it,

they're just like,

here's your money back.

Okay.

You can keep it.

Why don't you just donate it?

And then it's like,

then I play this game where I'm like,

hmm.

Maybe I can get this for free.

I'll just pretend I want to

return it and see if they

make me send it back or not.

It's terrible.

I don't like that.

But, yeah,

it's been very therapeutic for

me the last few weeks.

I posted some things that I

probably shouldn't have

posted a couple weeks ago,

maybe a week ago,

and I've taken that down.

I'm trying to be respectful of people.

in my past but I am going to

be using it going forward

as as a way for me to just

share my thoughts and

feelings and people give me

encouragement and I need

that yeah gives you some

community yes cap cut is

run by the same company as

tiktok I don't know what

that is so I have a

subscription to that too

that's just the the app

that helps you make videos

right yeah okay

Like those, the Pixar transitions.

I see the cap cut on there all the time.

I don't know.

It can't, I know Corey,

you watch all my stuff.

I appreciate it.

I love the engagement.

Oh, speaking of, okay.

I'm gonna throw this out here of TikTok.

Okay.

I was a big fan of Laguna

Beach and the Hills and all

of that stuff.

Okay.

Okay.

Spencer and Heidi.

And I could not stand Spencer.

And I'm sure it was edited.

to be like I am here for his

tick tocks now because

their house burned down and

so he was like listen I'm

just trying to get money on

this app so that I can

rebuild my house and my

family but he's so funny

because he'll he'll comment

on all the haters that say

stuff and he'll so he'll do

a video on like why is my

face swollen uh maybe

because it's the holidays

and it's wine and cheese you know like

Or when people make fun of

him for not being a real

celebrity and everyone's

talking about all these

celebrities that lost their

homes and he's like, oh,

if I'm not a celebrity,

then why are you talking about me?

Yes, Spencer Pratt.

On a similar subject,

did you guys watch the

Madaris Hopper Pepper podcast?

No.

The first one.

You have to go to the thirty

minute-ish mark, Amy.

Okay.

hopper had this habit that

he would watch something on

tv and then like go and

blast the person on their

dms on instagram right and

one that he watched the

bachelor with his wife when

luke parker was on and he

hated luke parker and he

would bash him about like

being a douchebag and doing

all this instagram yeah go

go to his dm and just blast him

But Luke had eight million

followers and never got to all of his DMs,

right?

So they meet each other on a

plane when the Atlas Games

got canceled for COVID.

Hopper had all these questions for him.

Well, now they know both are in CrossFit.

So Luke's like, hey, I'll follow you.

What's your IG?

Hey, I have a message from you.

A bunch of messages.

All of a sudden,

it's everything that Hopper

has blasted him.

And he did that with Matt Frazier, too,

when he was first starting CrossFit.

I beat you in this workout, you chump,

blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.

And then Matt becomes his

coach and something happened.

They follow each other on IG

and he sees everything

Hopper said about him beforehand.

and the other people like

why did you do this who

what would make you go just

blast these people on so

where do I find what's it

what's the podcast on it's

not just in madera yeah

youtube justin's channel

yeah on youtube all right

I'll go watch that that was funny

That is one of the funniest

things I've ever heard in my life.

They were awesome to listen to.

It was a great, great.

I just forwarded Amy on Tik TOK,

a bunch of clips from the

bachelor with Luke on them.

And I didn't realize that

his season was so

controversial and that he

was made out to be such a villain.

It was like,

it made me uncomfortable to watch.

Yeah.

Yeah.

yikes yeah yeah I met him at

tfx for the first time and

he was like kind of bored

between events and stuff

and he would just he would

just chat to julie and I

just sit there and we would

chat about all this stuff

and and how hard it was to

go from the bachelor to

crossfit because everybody

hated him yeah yeah it's

crazy totally yeah but it's

it's a great story and and

hopper still gets

embarrassed about it today

Well, good.

That was a douchey thing for him to do.

Like, what a troll.

Right.

Let's go troll him now.

So funny.

I love it.

All right, guys.

All right.
