Welcome to Quantum Bombs, a commentary show on the human condition through metaphysics
and freedom.
And today guys, look at my tagline behind me, paradoxically nuanced, today's episode
I'm claiming is going to be the deepest paradox.
As far as one can take, that is what I'm claiming today so stick around till the end and tell
me if I could have taken it any further.
Today's episode I'm going to ask you two simple questions.
It's a yes or no answer so everyone can play along.
These are the most fundamental questions yet no one has likely asked you these questions.
They are questions from ontology, which is a branch of philosophy that defines what is
our reality made of.
So when you say I believe in God or I don't believe in God, I'm an atheist or I don't
even know our care, you say those things and you're already putting yourself in a bucket
to a question you've never been asked.
This we're going to the academic side of life today guys and I'm going to give you that
question.
So before we get to the question though, I want to just kind of bring up the obvious
point that's going to help you think through this conundrum that we're going to mash up
today, which is the hard problem of matter and the hard problem of consciousness.
Now I know you've heard the second one, right?
We know that science doesn't know what to do with consciousness so it kind of just set
it to the side and continued science thing.
But thankfully we do know that our homies from the east, they know a lot about meditation,
they know a ton about consciousness.
We also have spiritual people here in the west.
We know way more than we give on but yet it's separated from our world of academia, okay?
And my first episode on death and dying, I did give you a quick way to remember what
consciousness was for the human.
Human consciousness is my three-sided coin, okay?
I made this up.
Three sides of a coin, one, Descartes said, he said, what did he say guys?
I think he said, I think, therefore I am, right?
So your first one is the I am, your awareness.
The second part is your existence, okay?
Consciousness is existence and the third part is your soul, that big old buzzword that carries
a whole lot of weight but hopefully you're thinking infinity or thinking eternity.
So those three things, soul, existence and awareness of the I am, that is what makes
up human consciousness, okay?
But we're going to take consciousness quite a bit deeper today and you'll be able to
play with the idea of what is consciousness in many different ways through this thought
experiment.
Okay, now let's jump to the other thing that I said, the hard problem of matter.
I think it was Hedda.
She had brought up this joke which has been a joke throughout millennia, throughout centuries
we've had a problem with matter.
You may not have thought that, right?
What is matter?
Okay, well, I brought a rock, right?
I got us a rock here, okay guys?
But then upon picking up this rock from my living room, I realized it's actually a dinosaur
tooth.
But for the sake of the show, we're just going to call this the rock because we're going
to use this through our thought experiment.
What is rock made of?
Rock is technically, yeah, you're right, that's matter.
What is matter?
Matter is mass but what is mass?
That's the problem.
Mass is a property that energy takes on, right?
It's a state that energy takes on.
So both of them, intrinsically, I guess let me finish my thought, intrinsically we don't
know what matter or mass is because we can say what it does and what state it's in but
we don't intrinsically know what it is, right?
Okay, everybody, don't read through this all at once.
We're going to go through it piece by piece together.
We're looking at these two questions that are the questions of what is the fundamental
substance of our being, of our reality?
What's the fundamental substance?
First two questions, each one has a yes or a no answer for those that are listening and
by choosing yes or no, it's going to be putting you into these bucket of thoughts like dualism,
materialism, idealism and a fourth category that we're going to get to as maybe our ultimate
paradox.
We're going to start in the top right hand corner because by default, most of everyone
derping around our post-modern world fits into the materialism category.
If you go through any type of academia in Western world, we're in materialism, okay
guys?
Consciousness is a substance and it can exist without matter.
So make it easy to bite-size to understand.
Can consciousness exist without my brain because your brain is matter?
Well, no, I need my brain in order to have consciousness.
Most people, you know, materialists believe that consciousness is coming through from
out the brain and it's some type of qualia and quantum equation.
We don't understand what's happening in the brain, but it happens, right?
That's materialism.
There is only one substance and it is matter, okay?
Now let's jump to the left side.
The question is flipped.
Matter is a substance and it can exist without consciousness.
Okay, so that's basically saying a rock exists without mind, without consciousness, without
a creator.
It can't exist without a creator that puts you back to being a materialist, as we know.
So an atheist, of course, would say, yeah, a rock exists because simply a rock exists.
There is no God.
But if you say, no, consciousness is necessary for the rock to exist.
There had to be some type of intelligent thought that created it through a fundamental field
that bubbled up through the quantum fields and the periodic table came and a bunch of
chemistry happened and it made the rock, a creator did that.
That is saying that consciousness, a creator, is necessary for any matter to exist.
That puts us in the bucket that we all know as believers is idealism.
So if you believe in a God, you're an idealist.
Okay, so for idealism, regarding the brain, right?
So we don't think that consciousness comes from the brain.
We see the brain as a radio, the same way we have a radio that receives a signal and
emits the music.
Our brain is simply the apparatus in our avatar, our body is an avatar receiving a
signal from the fundamental field that we can't even get out of and it is projecting
out through the brain that works with our physical apparatus, the body.
That's how idealism would say consciousness works with the brain.
It's not a quantum computation like that super famous physicist.
What is his name?
I'm going to look it up.
Okay.
Yeah.
Okay.
I'm actually saying I disagree with Roger Penrose, super famous physicist who was trying
to figure out if there's some type of quantum calculation happening in the brain.
I don't think so.
And even further, let's take it to heaven.
But before we get to heaven, let me just quickly say that dualism is a very paradoxical place
to be because you're saying, yes, both exist at the same time, but let's just keep going
with heaven.
Okay.
If you believe in an afterlife, what apparatus are you going to get to heaven in?
Well, you're going to get there via your consciousness.
Like we said, it goes on forever.
And how are you doing that via the fundamental field?
That's my coin term for what we're going to get into.
And the first episode, death and die, I made the point of saying that your consciousness
transcends space time via the fundamental field.
So let me walk you there.
I'm going to kind of make this very easy for you to understand and in a physical sense
that all of us can agree upon, and then I'm going to walk you all the way to the door
tour.
Most than atheists would step in and say, BS, that's where your physics stops.
And this is where metaphysics steps in.
Okay.
So we have this space time we're in, which is everything.
It's a fancy word for just saying everything physical that we measured and we add time
to it.
Okay.
It's governed by classical physics, big things moving.
And then we go down to the smaller stuff, which is the quantum fields.
And just like in the periodic table of elements that makes up our physical matter and mass
in our rocks, we have the 17 feet quantum fields, which is the standard model of quantum
physics.
It's like we have 12 little things that make up matter and we have like three different
forces and the Higgs field.
It's our quantum world where we're getting down to things we cannot no longer see or
almost measure.
And right there at the bottom of that is the vacuum state.
Okay.
And it's also, that's where the zero point energy or the radiant energy that Tesla was
measuring and talking about.
That's one, that's all coming from that ground state.
So now we're here at this sexy ground state.
What comes from beneath that in that infinite state?
There is magic.
That is where a few physicists live today.
They say we should have been looking at this fundamental field that permeates all throughout
space time and goes down below that ground level.
What is on the other side of that is our, for lack of a better term, dimensions.
That's our heaven.
That's, that's where the fundamental field where that's what makes the point, the point
I'm saying is your consciousness has to transcend space time to go into the next, the next dimension
to heaven.
But I want to bring you back.
Okay.
So I was like, yeah, you're right.
I don't really know what consciousness is made of outside of space time.
But then I was like, well, yeah, I kind of do actually chapter 43 of the autobiography
of a yogi, which is one of the most largest read spiritual books of all time.
It does actually break down what it is like as a soul to be in heaven.
But I'm going to talk really philosophically big here, trying to include everybody.
We know that we can't go to God the Father as a sin, as a sinner, as our ego.
We've got to shed even our human body in order to get to God the Father.
We are made of 30.
So if we start from the top down of like, what God is here to this physical encasement
as a soul, we have 35 causal ideational thought matrix blueprints, right?
So that is, you've got to have an idea matrix of your my bethness, your ness.
Or you even can get down to this beneath that body.
That causal body thought matrix is 19, yeah, 19, think astral, life, tronic, light.
So when you're up there in heaven, you're operating with life, tronic, light, vibration,
colors, and your ideational thought matrix of desires and wants and what makes you you.
And then we come here to earth.
We've got 16 of those 16 elements under the branch of the 35 thought matrix.
We have our physical body encased in this body suit held together, our ego and the breath
holds us all together and keeps this consciousness in the body.
But that's what I'm saying.
So we do have an idea of what our consciousness is like and made up of in heaven.
Now if you're a Western Christian, you're like, ah, she's losing me all these words.
We're just trying to put physical descriptions to what heaven would be like if you had to
physically describe it.
Now since we're on the Christian nuance really quickly, the saying, no one goes to the Father
except through me.
I personally just, just me toying with it.
I believe that in order to get to the Father, to graduate from this ideational thought matrix,
to get to the one, to get to God, the Father, the supreme vibration of everything that we're
getting to the final substance.
You probably, you do, I believe you pass through Christ consciousness.
So yes, no one goes to the Father except through him.
So I'm saying that fundamentally I agree with the Christian thought, but I am bringing using
some scarier words when I'm trying to describe the physics of heaven, okay, to walk us up
to the point I'm making of what is the substance of God, right?
Because the whole point is us is that we're going to join with him and you don't go there
all dirty and sinful and low vibrational, right?
That's also the point by I'm saying there's a graduation process.
So if you believe that there's a heaven and a hell, then there is a lower point and this
is the ascension point.
So that, that was funny.
So I'm like, okay, I do kind of know the substance of what our consciousness is in heaven.
We know a lot about it, but again, once do you graduate further and further and closer
into God, what is the substance after the causal, after the causal state, after you're
no longer your own ideational thought being, which I'm told that you will not lose your
point of view, your Beth Ness, your Ness, your consciousness.
You won't lose that.
Remember, your three sided coins still goes with you.
You won't lose that when you are with God the Father.
What is that substance?
Okay.
So that puts us, the reason I brought this back up is it puts us into this box here and
there is something that goes in this box.
Let me get to it quickly.
It is called neutral monism.
There's one fundamental stuff that is neither matter nor consciousness.
Both emerge from it.
Think of it like a matter and consciousness are two sides of the same coin, but the coin
itself is something deeper that we can't fully categorize.
Spinoza is classic reference here.
Some would argue that your fundamental field you keep referencing could fit here.
It's not purely consciousness and it's not purely matter.
It's the source of both.
Well, this says the no, no box, both positions basically say you can't have matter without
consciousness and you can't have consciousness without matter.
So that's the conundrum.
That's what we're walking up to back to my boxes.
Let me get back to them.
We're here living in we're idealist con consciousness is absolutely fundamental.
That is how God works.
That is how he created the larger consciousness system.
Everything exists outside of God's consciousness, but again, we're held together by something
separating us from his consciousness, these little desires of who we are as light beings
as thought beings as human bodies here in planet earth and in space time.
So we are idealist.
However, if you are still like me wondering what is the ultimate substance, God the Father,
that is the no, no.
That's the paradox.
Okay.
So to recap.
I want to make this crystal clear that you can follow me.
I don't want you to not like ontology.
If I'm listening to myself, it sounds like I'm actually skipping around these buckets.
Hear me out.
I've just now described to you that our body, our light being and our idea being, these
are three encasements that you could argue are hints of matter, right?
Light photons, ideas.
This is all some type of fabric or the beginning of a fabric.
This is matter.
So you could say, Beth, are you then putting us into the category of dualism, right?
Because we're now saying yes, yes.
Or are you even flirting with the idea of materialism, meaning that in order for your
consciousness to run and play about in heaven, you're still adding some type of physical
matter to it.
And I'm saying, no, we are still idealism.
I'm still living in the camp idealism.
And the reason being is that your consciousness is unseparated from a fundamental field.
And it is only adding on the three matter suits.
It's because it's actually your separation from God.
God is the fundamental field that you are coming from.
And your only way to be separated from him is with the actual encasements.
You see?
So I'm still living in the idealism camp.
However, because we don't know what the fundamental field is, the substance of God, the final
destination, go back to the ground state I brought us to, the physical, the quantum,
now at the ground state, the vacuum field place.
That's beneath that is where the fundamental field is coming up from and throughout.
It's permeating all the space time and it goes down to the ground state.
What's behind that?
That's where those physicists are saying, this is the most necessary.
We've got to begin it.
We've got maybe close to a hundred physicists now that are living in idealism.
Okay.
Most physicists are in the materialism bucket, but I'm following both.
And I'm idealism, Naseem Haramine, Thomas Campbell, Federico Fagan are all saying there's
a fundamental field perpetrating throughout all the space time that is everything is arising
from.
However, all of the mystery, all of the power, everything lies beneath that ground state.
And because we don't know what that ground state is, what God is, what is the fundamental
field, the source.
It has idealist like myself in the no, no bucket as well as neutral monism.
Okay.
So I think we've ruled out duel for me and I love that you could pick your own buckets
too.
I've ruled out dualism materialism.
I'm an idealist at heart, but I'm very humble when it comes to my neutral monism.
I don't know, know what the final substance is.
It's a joke because if you're listening guys to get to neutral monism, it's a no, no.
So I walked us pretty deep into this.
This is our paradox of what we're straddling.
We need to take it even further.
This is the state of substance right now in space time since we're here in space time.
We could talk about now because we have time on our brain, but what is the biggest mystery
of all time?
Think about it guys.
I'm talking about time.
Thank you.
I have this theory and I'm going to walk you through it, creating a three part television
documentary series on this.
So I already have it written.
What I'm proposing to you is what I claim, this is my claim to be the largest mystery
of life.
You could basically look at all of the world's largest mysteries, right?
We can't unify quantum physics with classical or we don't know what gravity is yet, but
I'm willing to bet that most, no, I'm sorry, few human beings that walked the planet earth
like Jesus and Yogis and all of the saints that have sat in Samadhi and completely unified
their brain with the larger consciousness system are wondrous God.
They were given most of the answers to life.
However, I often wonder, did Jesus and all these smart, you know, people that were, that
were completely aligned know this one mystery I'm fixing to give to you.
To me, this is, no, I personally believe this is the largest mystery of all time.
You will not find one more question that takes it deeper than what I'm going to read to you
right now.
Um, okay.
So my friend has a ranch.
We're going to be filming it on his ranch.
It's the desert.
It's twilight.
Um, the sun is setting.
You're just meeting me, this girl that's walking mysteriously, looking amazing on camera.
And um, you don't know who I am.
I'm not talking to you, but you could hear the voices in my head and I'm going to give
you a little bit of, um, some, you know, like, commentation because this is written for me
and like producers that would be looking at it.
Okay.
I'm going to start reading to you.
I want to show you something, boom, black screen.
It pulls out from earth back to voiceover isolated from everyone from all human thought.
Well, even if we traveled at the speed of light due to the expansion speed of our universe,
I can't even get us outside outside of our universe outside of space time.
But let's say we can, and we go beyond any dimension of subtle detectable energy beyond
the vacuums, black holes, just nothing to avoid, complete nothing, no light, no darkness,
most importantly, vibrationless, unmanifested.
This condition is what most religions, esoteric teaching, theologians and physicists can agree
on was the condition before the big bang.
Before the moment of singularity, this condition right here of what happened before the big
bang is arguably the biggest mystery of all time.
This condition will refer to as the absolute, but it also has another name.
We often use it, but this form is its most accurate context.
That name is spirit, unmanifested spirit.
I've known you heard this word related to so many other things.
Back to producer, fast flip through various images.
Most people don't understand the actual mechanical difference between the words, God and spirit.
But don't worry, I will take you there.
So that's kind of the beginning of the documentary, but the reason I wanted to get that to you,
to read that to you is to get you into understanding just what that looks like.
That is, there will never be another bigger paradox.
Once you start stabbing at it with physics and all the thoughts and ways you could think
about it, that is it.
And even if you're a Christian, you're like, well, the big bang, it's like a word that
you don't like.
Then just think of it as before Genesis, before the word, before the first vibration.
What was that state?
That is the most people all agree.
No one knows what happened before creation, before Genesis, right?
What was that state?
That is that I don't know if that question will ever be answered.
And I don't know it.
Like when Jesus was sitting in somebody with God, did he say what that was?
I don't, I don't know.
But it's probably, anyway, it's a cool thought process.
What was the substance before?
What was that state?
And then of course we have God in heaven right now, the Holy Trinity.
What is that substance?
Is it pure consciousness?
Is it information based, as Thomas Campbell would say, is it the ideational thought matrix
of all things in a beautiful love frequency vibration?
We don't know.
But at least I think I would like to bet that I'm an idealist and I'm humble about the
substance of what I will become when I completely unify with God one day.
But while I'm in heaven, I do believe that I'm still a consciousness.
I'm still conscious actually when I do unify with Him.
But what that substance looks like?
What is consciousness intrinsically made of?
We don't really know till we're there.
And I won't be able to beam myself back down into this YouTube video and answer it for
you.
And that's kind of the beauty about life.
It really is.
I've thought about it a lot.
That's like, anyway.
But my paradox, I guess, is that, let's go back to the box, is that I live right here
on this bottom one.
I could be, because I don't know.
Until then, all I do know is, yes, idealism, that everything is, I am part of this fundamental
field.
I am the drop in the ocean of God.
And that is the perfect, it is the best way, the ocean.
Time and time and time and time again will be used to explain to you what we are.
We are drops in an ocean.
We could never be separated or taken out of God's consciousness, which is a perfect lead-in.
Please stay with me and join me on my next show because we're going to be talking about
more ontology about how does God play with the universe?
How does He interact?
How does He point at it?
Is He all part of it?
How does it work?
Thanks for joining me, guys.
Let me know in the comments, where are you at?
Are you like a no, no, yes, no?
Where are you at in your reality on your ontology?
Did you even know it exists?
Have a good one.
Stay human and stay free.
